  INTRODUCTION

Virtual Fire is an IBM-prize-winning software toy, created to
entertain you with amazingly realistic, interactive graphics.

By drawing on the screen using the mouse, you set in motion a
real-time generated full-screen movie of colorful, blazing flames.

You can scatter bouncing cinders that leave smoky trails on a
sky-blue background, create streams of burning lava flowing up
and down your screen, or watch thousands of creepy sparks flock
  together in mysterious clouds.

Virtual Fire has a user-friendly graphical interface,
designed to be as easy to use as a TV remote.

  HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

Virtual Fire runs on any PC with VGA graphics, a mouse, and a 286
  or faster processor.

A fast 486 processor and a local-bus video card are recommended to
experience the full visual impact of smooth, realistic animation.

The program works best when started directly from DOS.
Running it as a DOS application under Windows or OS/2 is also
possible, but this may cause the animation to be less smooth,
depending on your specific hardware configuration.
