Also, on all of the achievements that require you to do something when you are on defense, on all of your offensive posessions you can punt the ball on your first play so you can have more chances at stopping a certain player on defense. IMPORTANT NOTE: Although I have written this in achievement form, this guide will also be able to help those on the PS3 with trophies. Make sure you leave a name/username that you would want me to give credit to. - Anything releated with any of my other guides =============================================================================== AC1 =============================================================================== All Day No Way (40) Record 3 tackles for a loss on Adrian Peterson. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Adrian Peterson is the runningback for the Minnesota Vikings. So start up a game, that is not the Pro bowl game in Franshice Mode, against the Minnesota Vikings. I suggest using a team with a great defense, like the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adrian Peterson is a powerback, and is pretty hard to take down. So you may hit him behind the line of scrimmage, but he may break some tackles and end up gaining some yards. Just pick blitz plays, and when they run with the ball, try and user tackle/hit stick Adrian. You will also have plenty of chances per game to get this because the Vikings are run oriented. Note: A tackle for a loss is when you tackle the player with the ball when he is behind the line of scrimmage. The line of scrimmage is where the ball starts on each play, where your lineman line up. =============================================================================== AC2 =============================================================================== Buzzkill (40) Intercept a pass intended for Randy Moss. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Randy Moss is the #1 reciever for the New England Patriots. When the ball is thrown to him(#81), try and user pick it by switching to the player covering Randy and pressing Y. This will take many tries, and Brady may not always pass to Moss, but you will eventually catch it. =============================================================================== AC3 =============================================================================== Fight for the Fumble (30) Win possession of the ball after a fumble pile-up. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: When there is a fumble and multiple players dive onto the ball, you go into a little mini game. On the bottom of the screen will be a meter with each team's symbol. There will also be buttons that will pop up. Rapidly press the buttons on the bottom of the screen. The team with the meter in their side of the bar will win the fumble pile-up. =============================================================================== AC4 =============================================================================== From Me To You (40) Complete a pass for a TD with your partner in an Online Co-op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro Guide: When you are in an Online Co-Op game, one player is a quarterback, and one player can play as another posistion player. In this case, you want to be the Quarterback and you want your Co-Op buddy to be a reciever. Use a team with high-rated recievers like Buffalo or New England. Then throw the ball to your Co-Op buddy and the rest is up to him to get it into the endzone. If you don't score on your first throw, that's okay. Even if you are one yard away from getting a touchdown or one hundred yards away from a touchdown, all you have to do is throw it to your buddy and have him/her get it into the endzone. =============================================================================== AC5 =============================================================================== Frozen Tundra (30) Win at Lambeau Field in freezing weather. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: Lambeau Field is the home field of the Green Bay Packers. So start a game and either play as the Green Bay Packers, or play as your favorite team against them. Make sure you are playing at Lambeau, then start and WIN the game. =============================================================================== AC6 =============================================================================== Go Back to Basketball (40) Tackle Antonio Gates inside the 5 yard line. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Antonio Gates is the TE for the San Diego Chargers. When you are going against the Chargers and they have you back against their goal-line, you have to get them to pass a short pass to gates, then swarm him. He is also another one tough to get down, but he isn't as tough as Peterson. Another easier way to stop him inside the 5 is when they are on the thirty yard line or so, play deep and have them throw the ball, then tackle him as he gets inside the five. =============================================================================== AC7 =============================================================================== Go Bag Some Groceries (40) Force Kurt Warner to fumble on a sack. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Kurt Warner is the quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals. To get a sack, you need to be on defense and tackle Kurt Warner behind the line of scrimmage. Quarterbacks are often fumble prone, so any kind of big hit will have a good chance of Kurt losing the football. If needed, edit your DE's strength and tackling attributes before the game. =============================================================================== AC8 =============================================================================== Have to Be This Tall to Ride (40) Stiff arm or juke Bob Sanders. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Bob Sanders is one of the Colts safeties. I suggest repeatedly doing HB tosses to his side of the field, as the saftey will often come in on this. Then when you get up to Him, juke him by flicking the RS left or right, or trucking him by pushing the RS up. A good HB/RB to use for this is Adrian Peterson on the Vikings as he is an absolute beast. =============================================================================== AC9 =============================================================================== Hey Buddy! (50) Complete a lateral with your partner in an Online Co-Op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro Guide: To do this, have your Co-Op buddy be running behind you, then press LT. This will lateral(or throw the ball back) the ball to him/her. =============================================================================== AC10 =============================================================================== Larry Stickyfingers (40) Get 10 user catches (no drops) with Larry Fitzgerald. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Larry Fitzgerald is the #1 reciever for the Arizona Cardnials, and this dude can play. This will be pretty simple once you get good at user catching. Simply have him run a deep route, and if he is in single coverage, throw it to him. Then simply user catch by switching to Larry and press Y. Works almost everytime. =============================================================================== AC11 =============================================================================== Laser Arm? (40) Intercept Peyton Manning 3 times. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Peyton Manning is the Quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. Before the game, upgrade your CBs and Safties catching, awareness, and speed attributes to the max. This will keep them on top of all of the Colts recievers, and will often be able to pick the ball off. User picking/catching also works here. =============================================================================== AC12 =============================================================================== Look what I found! (80) Win a fumble pile-up in the end zone for a TD. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: I described how to win a fumble pile-up in that achievement earlier in this guide. So just do that, but do it in one of the two endzones. =============================================================================== AC13 =============================================================================== Mature Newbie (10) Create a player or Superstar at the oldest possible age. Guide: Go to Superstar mode, and when you create a player, just slide his age all the way to the right. Once it goes back to the youngest age, then just click left once and it will be the oldest age. I don't know the exact number, but it will be anywhere between 50-60. =============================================================================== AC14 =============================================================================== Mr. Not-So-Perfect (40) Intercept a Tom Brady pass. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: This will come when you intercept a pass intended for Randy Moss, as this is the quarterback for the New England Patriots. =============================================================================== AC15 =============================================================================== Nano (50) Sack the QB before he can hand the ball off. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: Upgrade your DE's stats all of the way, then play a game against the Lions. Blitz them all game, and eventually when they hand the ball off you may get through the line untouched and sack the quarterback. You can not get this on a play-action play. =============================================================================== AC16 =============================================================================== Nothing Without the Dark Visor (40) Force a LaDanian Tomlinson fumble. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no Pro Bowl, no co-op) Guide: Ladanian Tomlinson is the running back for the San Diego Chargers. Use my advice for the Adrian Peterson achievement for this one aswell, as they are similar RBs. =============================================================================== AC17 =============================================================================== Pocket Monster (80) Stay in the pocket for at least 10 seconds. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: Get it so you are Third and about 30, and you are the Titans and are against the Lions. Then pick a pass play. Stay a few yards behind your lineman, and your lineman should hold off the Lions lineman who should only be pressuring you with a two or so. Turning your lines blocking attributes up also help. =============================================================================== AC18 =============================================================================== Safety Inspection Required (10) Create a team from Springfield. Guide: Simply go a create a team, and when you choose where they are from, pick Springfield. Really simple. =============================================================================== AC19 =============================================================================== Sprint 2 Minute Drill (30) Win after being behind in the final 2 minutes of a game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: You will get this when you get AC20, so look at the below for the info on how to get these two achievements. =============================================================================== AC20 =============================================================================== Super Bowl MVP-like (50) Catch a TD to take the lead with under 30 seconds left. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: The whole game, run the clock down. Constantly run the ball. Then when you get to your opponents ten or so yard line, no matter what down it is, kick a field goal, but shank it. Continue this until there is only about two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Work your way up the field, and try to get to around the ten yard line with around thirty or so seconds left with two-three time outs. Now from here work your way into the endzone. i suggest starting with a screen pass. If that doesn't work, do short routes. However, you defintely have to pass the ball in. i suggest doing a game along the lines of Eagles vs. Lions or something like that. However you can be playing as any team against any team. =============================================================================== AC21 =============================================================================== The Gang's All Here (50) Trigger a gang tackle with 7+ players. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: You will eventually get this after often running the ball up the middle. This way you will get hit by a few players, and you will have to hope a few other players jump in to try and tackle you. There is no specific way to trigger this, however, it will just happen. =============================================================================== AC22 =============================================================================== Well played. Really. (5) Throw the ball away on 4th down. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: When it is 4th down, instead of punting the ball, pick a pass play, then scramble to a side and press RS to throw the ball away. =============================================================================== AC23 =============================================================================== Why Can't We Be Friends? (75) Complete an online Co-Op game. 5 min qtrs, All Pro Guide: Simply go online, select a Co-Op game, then play the game until the end. =============================================================================== AC24 =============================================================================== Wounded Duck (50) Complete a pass to an unintended receiver. 5 min qtrs, All Pro (no co-op) Guide: This can really be intended to do,because you are throwing to an UNintended reciever, however this happens often when you get hit as you throw. If you get hit and you throw as you start to fall, the ball usually doesn't go far. But if you throw just as you get hit, you may be able to get it far enough for someone to catch it. I guess if you can get the timing down, you can allow people to hit your quarterback but throw as you get hit.
