This is used by many guidewriters to discourage spambots. This guide is a small guide based on the Multiplayer aspect of the game. This does not feature as much detail towards the game as my generic guides. This should also help you with one of my guides, as it ties in to the Achievement Guide in the walkthrough for the game itself. ****************************************************************************** “Saints Row 2” is a video game produced by Volition Inc. and licensed by THQ. I greatly appreciate it if you are a fan of my guides. It’s what I do, and knowing people enjoy reading my guides gives me all the more reason to continue writing them. About The Writer 2. The Multiplayer Badges 2A. Generic Badges 2B. Rank Badges 3. Goodbye! ****************************************************************************** 1. About the Writer My name is Daniel Graeme (or Graham) Stephen, otherwise known on GameFAQs as DG-le-Ste. I am only 18 years old, but I have a number of years of GTA gaming under my belt. Say what you want to say, but there are millions of kids that aren’t even 13 playing “Grand Theft Auto” games. This is what I think is a simple fact, but I‘ll leave the arguments to you. This is a guide, not a debate. Anyhoo, I come from the northeast of England, but with strong Scottish roots. I was originally born in Aberdeen, in the northeast of Scotland, until my family moved to the northeastern English town of Middlesbrough when I was very young. Most of my lifelong friends are gamers, and that includes me, and so we are a strong group when it comes to opposable thumbs. You could say GTA is my specialty. I grew up going on mad rampages on the comfort of my games console whilst playing as Carl Johnson or Claude Speed. Because of my childhood memories mostly being of this game series, it has inspired me to write these guides. I have studied subjects such as Law and Politics to a high level, which does require very good reading and writing skills. I have honed these skills into my guides. I started writing these guides in the summer of 2012, during the very start of my gap year before I went to university. This gave me a lot of spare time, and thus many of my guides have come to be. I would go into my private life, but this is unnecessary. So, instead of that, we’ll get under way. If you need another GTA guide, or any other guide, here is a list of what I have written: >> "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" >> "Saints Row" ****************************************************************************** 2. The Multiplayer Badges As you spend time on Multiplayer, you may earn badges for doing certain things in matches. There are 32 of them in total. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2A. Generic Badges ******************* The following badges are earned by simply playing matches and fulfilling criteria by doing certain activities within multiplayer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Road Rage Objective: Kill 30 enemies with a vehicle impact. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start heading towards you enemies and make roadkill of them. This is simple against an inexperienced team. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Trigger Happy Objective: Empty 250 magazines by continuous firing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Begin a Party and set the weapons to dual-wielded pistols, and shoot at thin air if you want this Badge quickly. Otherwise, you will find yourself earning this badge if you are an avid shooter in multiplayer. You must unload a FULL clip at once, and then allow the game to auto-reload your weapons in order for this to count. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Brain Surgeon Objective: Score 100 headshots. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You want a McManus and a ledge to sit on, as well as good aim. Then you must score the headshots as the enemies run across your screen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Burnout Objective: Kill 15 enemies by setting them alight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Use a Flamethrower or Molotov Cocktails, and then pelt/spray your enemies with fire. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Mass Murder Objective: Score 10 Multi-Kills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You must kill an enemy, and then another enemy no more than a second before the first kill in order to get the Multi-Kill. Do this ten times to get the badge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6. No Questions Asked Objective: Record at least twenty kills in 10 matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You will either need to set up a party match, or demolish the competition in a public match. Get 20+ kills ten times, and you should be good. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Leadfoot Objective: In Racing, spend 1,000 seconds in 1st place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you are looking for the exact time, this is 16 minutes and 40 seconds. Play Strong Arm Racing, and then try and get into 1st place. This can also be done in Party Mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8. Saint Picasso Objective: Spray 150 Tags. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In Strong Arm, concentrate on Tagging, and you should get this after a while. This badge may not be earned on the 150th, so you will have to keep on going until it does come up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9. Assault and Battery Objective: Kill 30 enemies with non-Pimp Slap melee attacks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The only way to go about this is to tear someone apart until they are near death, and with a weapon, melee bash them. This will count as a bare-hand kill. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10. Fully Loaded Objective: Have all your Weapon Slots filled for 300 seconds. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Grab all the weapons you can, and keep the slots filled. After you clock five minutes in total with your slots full, you'll earn the badge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 11. Track Star Objective: Sprint for 6,000 seconds total. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This equates to 100 minutes - 1 hour, 40 minutes. This will take some time to do, but playing multiplayer should have you sprinting a fair bit either way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 12. Original Gangsta Objective: Play 10 ranked matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One of the easier ones, you have to simply play 10 ranked matches, and it does not matter whether you win or lose. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 13. Team Spirit Objective: Kill 10 enemies with the Pimp Slap. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You have to find the Pimp Finger, the foam hand, and literally Pimp Slap your enemies to death. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 14. Pimp Objective: Play 20 matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Play any match, be it as a Party or in public, and when you clock twenty, you get an easy badge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 15. Demo Demon Objective: Drive in a vehicle until it explodes, 10 times. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You have to get in a vehicle, and then drive around in it until it catches fire. You will have to remain in the vehicle when it explodes for this to count towards the badge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 16. Nut Job Objective: Perform 100 Nutshots. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This will NOT earn you the "Aww Nuts!" Offline Achievement, but it does has the exact same premise for it - nutshot an enemy 100 times. It doesn't matter whether the enemy was a male or female character. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 17. Party Animal Objective: Host and win a Party. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's simple - host a party with your friends, and have them let you win the match. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 18. Regulator Objective: Finish 5 matches with personal earnings of over $30,000. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You want to do this in Strong Arm, preferably in a party with the money limit set to the maximum amount. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 19. Arr... Objective: Play a multiplayer match on September 19 or December 5. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You need to play on "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" (Sept. 19) or "The Day of the Ninja" (Dec. 5) in order to earn the badge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 20. Wrecking Crew Objective: Have lifetime earnings of $50,000 in Demo Derby or Mayhem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mayhem may be easier for the less talented, but those who are confident should go for this in Demo Derby. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2B. Rank Badges **************** The following badges are earned by simply advancing through the Rank System. This will be hard to complete, and it will take time. To earn money to proceed through the rank system, you need to be playing Ranked matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 21. New Jack Earned for earning the default title, "New Jack". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 22.
