I'm samthebigkid and I like making FAQs for games that don't have many. Small Arms is a neat little game available for 800 Points (~$10) on Xbox Live. It is pretty much a Smash Bros. Clone, but it's pretty fun. I take pride in my work, so if you have any questions, comments, flames, or such; my email can be found in the Legal Info section. Thanks again for reading and enjoy Small Arms for the Xbox 360. ___ _____ _ _ ____ ____ _ _ ____ ___ / __)( _ )( \( )(_ _)( ___)( \( )(_ _)/ __) ( (__ )(_)( ) ( )( )__) ) ( )( \__ \ \___)(_____)(_)\_) (__) (____)(_)\_) (__) (___/ (Note: The codes in brackets are for Quick-Search.) 1. Unfortunately, the contract was awarded to its lowest bidder: Dr.Soandso, an assistant professor at Neo-Toledo University. Soon afterwards he was dishonorably relieved of his postion due to his inhumane research experiments and some minor plagiarism. Throughout the course of the next decade, Dr. Soandso wasted the remaing contract money on a pyramid scheme, bad real estate investments, and panchinko. One month before his deadline, Dr. Soandso scraped together all his unscrupulous research and created a band of misfits using cataloged DNA and household appliances. Appalled by Dr. Soandso's creations, the military covered up the problem by dispersing the mutants across time, never to be heard from again. You have two bars and your picture. The Green is your health (which turns yellow when health lowers, then red when health is critical). Below that bar, the orange bar is your ammo bar. To replenish health, eat meat. To replenish ammo, get a battery or Car Battery. Below both bars are your lives (reprsented by circles). Your goal is to kill all your opponents, usually. Falling off a cliff or into lava kills you (duh). Also, you have some "statuses". If a box with a "!" appears below you, your energy is low. If an "X" appears below you, you're out of energy. If you get hit by Tryone's Frost Cloud, you're frozen temporarily until someone hurts you or a certain amount of time passes. If you get hit by enough fire, you catch fire and run back and forth. In this state, you can only control the direction in which you run, NOTHING ELSE. This can get you killed by a cliff or kill your opponents. ---Modes: +Mission Mode: This is main part of the single player game. You have 10 missions to complete. You have 5 lives. You cannot change the difficulty. If you lose all your lives, you can continue at the expense of 1/2 of your points. The only gameover is if you don't continue or you beat the game. The missions go as the following: Level-(# of Enemies)-[# of Lives of Each Enemy] 1-(1)-[3] 2-(2)-[3] 3 Shooting Range 4-(1)-[3] 5-(2)-[3] 6-(3)-[3] 7 Shooting Range 8-(2)-[3] 9-(3)-[3] 10-(Inf*)-[1] *You only have to beat the main character, the others are just annoyances. +Training Mode: Teaches you the basics of the game. It's pretty straight-forward. (Note: When you get the Crossbow, DO NOT kill yourself because you never respawn.) +Challenge Mode: This mode is a mode in which you try to defeat as many opponents as you can. You start with 3 lives. The level is always Bazaar. After every 4 kills you get a snack break in which tons of meat falls down for you to replenish yourself. Also, every 10 kills, you earn extra lives. There are 2 achievments to be earned here (Challenge x15 and x50). My Advice, use Tyrone. His Ice Arm can kill enemies very easy in this level. Have the enemy follow to the bottom right corner of the level; there is hut-like-thing here. Go under it, jump off to the cliff side, the Dash back on top of the hut. When the enemy follows, freeze them in their Dash. They then fall to their death. That's the best strategy I know of. Alternate strategy (straight from LtD): "Unit 51's weapon is also really good for this. I was ranked in the top 300 for a while with just under 120 kills with him. I just used his secondary fire and kept alternating between the top two platforms and constantly snatching up batteries before the bots could (also try and keep as much food on the playfield as possible)." +Shooting Range:After you have completed Mission Mode, you can use the Shooting Range whenever you want. Before then, it is only available on the 3rd and 7th levels of Mission Mode. In the Shooting range, there are 3 sets of Moving targets. From Closest to Farthest, they go Green, Red, Blue. Blue is worth the most and Green is worth the least. You get six clips and each clip has six bullets. That's a total of 36 shots. Also, you only have 30 seconds. You don't automatically reload. Instead, the after the sixth shot, you must hit the fire button again to reload. Keep this in mind. My advice is to not run around much and aim only for the red and blue targets. DO NOT USE YOUR ROCKET. This only gives you 10 points for ANY target so it's just a waste of a clip. Use the right analog stick to aim and take aim at the upper targets. This is how I achieved my Marksmanship Achievement. To get the 10,000 points, you have to an average of 280 points per shot and 330 points per second. This is why the Red and Blue are better to target. IF YOU WANT TO, you can jump on the targets. Doing this leads to the GRAY targets above the Blue ones. These are worth 2500-5000 points, but the time it takes to get up there makes it almost not worth it. This is for people who are good at staying on moving platforms. I didn't need it, but it is an option. My Highscore: 12,150. Point Values: Green Target - 100 Green Target Bullseye - 200 Red Target - 250 Red Target Bullseye - 500 Blue Target - 500 Blue Target Bullseye - 1000 Any Target (Hit with Rocket) - 10 Gray Target - 2500 Gray Target Bullseye - 5000 +Battle Mode: Multiplayer Mode (See Multiplayer in Contents). ---Items: Car Battery - Full Ammo Battery - 10% to 20% Ammo Canned Sardines - 20% Health Sardine - 30% Health T-Bone Steak - 35% Health Roasted Chicken - 70% Health Baked Ham - 50% Health Spare Ribs - Full Health ---Bonuses: After any match in Mission mode, you can be awarded Bonus Points. Here is all of them and how to earn them. +Invincible (+750) - Do not Die once in a Match +Vegan (+1000) - Do not eat any food in a Match +Perfect Match (+1500) - No Damage or Deaths taken in a Match +Gourmet (+1000) - Eat Lots of Meals +Saved By the Bell (-500) - You're about to Die before match ended +Cannibalism (+1000) - Eat food of same character ex: Pector eating Chicken or Mr. Truffles eating Ham. 2. Marky Kat Species: Cat Weapon: Chain Arm Defense: Medium Speed:Medium Jump: Medium Rating: 7/10 Bio: Marky Kat started as a ruthless mercenary, but grew an empire out of illegal arms trading. He's now the 3rd richest mutant cyborg in the world. Costume 1: White and Black Costume 2: Black and Gold Costume 3: Tan and Green Costume 4: Red and Black Comments: Marky is decent because he is balanced. His weapon is good because it does decent damage. His secondary fire can do great damage. He's strong in most arenas. 2. Lord Pete Species: Human (Male) Weapon: Bow Arm Defense: Medium Speed:Medium Jump: Medium Rating: 8/10 Bio: Lord Pete is not actually from the 13th century, nor is he of any noble lineage. He merely enjoys Ye Renaissance Faire when it arrives in town. Costume 1: Silver and Blue Costume 2: Gold and Red Costume 3: Green and Black Costume 4: Red and Silver Comments: Like Marky, Pete is a balanced character. His weapon is powerful with both fires. He is a good character to use and a menace as an opponent. 3. Fox Claw Species: Human (Female) Weapon: Ninja Arm Defense: Low Speed: High Jump: High Rating: 6/10 Bio: Fox Claw was the most deadly ninja of the Claw School of Ninjas -- until they discovered her mutant secret. Now she's on the run. Costume 1: Red Hair and Yellow Costume 2: Maroon Hair and Red Costume 3: Blond Hair and Black Costume 4: Brown Hair and Brown Comments: She's really fast. She can be hard to hit, but she takes a lot of damage when she does. She has superb jump and dash abilities. Her weapon is semi-effective because of it's short range. Overall, she is average. 4. Tyrone Species: T-Rex Weapon: Ice Arm Defense: Medium-High Speed:Medium-Slow Jump: Low Rating: 7/10 Bio: Tyrone was raised in a research facility in the Artic Circle. After a daring escape, he's been staying at the Natural History Museum in Neo-Toledo. Costume 1: Blue and White Costume 2: Green and Brown Costume 3: Red and Black Costume 4: Brown and Blue Comments: Tyrone is pretty decent because he can take a little damage than other characters. His lack of speed and jump can hurt you. His weapon, though, is limited in use. The rapid fire can only do so much damage. The Frost Cloud is good in stages with cliffs, but lacks in other stages. 5. Pector El Pollo Species: Chicken (El Pollo means "the Chicken" in Spanish) Weapon: Flame Arm Defense: Medium Speed:Medium Jump: Medium Rating: 7/10 Bio: Pector El Pollo was a famous Mexican mutant wrestler, that was until cock-fights were outlawed. Costume 1: Orange and Green Costume 2: Yellow and Blue Costume 3: Red and Yellow Costume 4: White and Red Comments: Pector is statistically balanced character. His flamethrower is semi-useful but is limited in range. His Cocktails are VERY useful in stages with lots of cliffs, though they do prove useful in other stages as well. 6. Zöe Species: Human(Female) Weapon: Plasma Arm Defense: Low Speed: High Jump: Medium Rating: 7/10 Bio: Zöe is an intergalactic pop-star from the 22nd century. She is best known for her #1 hit single, "Lover-Bot." Costume 1: Pink Hair and Green Costume 2: Black Hair and Orange Costume 3: White Hair and Blue Costume 4: Brown Hair and Black+Red Comments: Zöe doesn't have straight forward stats, but she gets it done. Her weapon is pretty powerful and useful. The only problem is her lack of defense. Keep moving and keep firing and you should be ok. 7. Unit 51 Species: Human (Male) Weapon: Lightning Arm Defense: Medium-High Speed:Medium-Low Jump: Medium Rating: 9/10 Bio: Unit 51 is an elite soldier in the Space Marines. He also competes in those "Sport of the Future" tournements year after year after year! Costume 1: Blue Costume 2: Gold Costume 3: Red Costume 4: Black Comments: He is REALLY good but really CHEAP. His stats are all favorable. His weapon is very powerful with both fires. Really, there's not much more to say. He's easy to use. 8. Mr. Truffles Species: Pig Weapon: Sniper Arm Defense: Medium-Low Speed:Medium Jump: Medium-High Rating: 6.5/10 Bio: Mr. Truffles is a world-renowned assassin. He's equally adept at finding mushrooms as he is at finding head-shots. Costume 1: Peach and Black Costume 2: Brown and White Costume 3: Black and Tan Costume 4: Purple and Purple Comments: Mr. Truffles... what a character. He has decent stats, but his weapon is lacking for high speed combat. He's a character who has to rely on using other weapons in the thick of combat. His Mines are kinda useful, but cannot be totally relied on. 9. Professor Von Brown Species: Burning Head Human (Male) Weapon: Psychic Arm Defense: Medium-Low Speed:Medium-High Jump: Medium-High Rating: 8/10 Bio: Von Brown is a doctor of transcendental pyschology, and a devotee of the occult. Years back he had a horrible accident involving a children's doorstep prank and a teleportation spell. Costume 1: Orange Fire and Brown Costume 2: Blue Fire and Blue Costume 3: Green Fire and White Costume 4: Red Fire and Black Comments: The Professor is an interesting character. His has some good stats working for him. His weapon has a very useful homing shot. The secondary is lacking is usefulness. Overall, I like him and recomend using him sometime. 10. Mousey McNuts Species: Mouse Weapon: Chain Arm Defense: Low Speed:High Jump: Medium Rating: 4/10 Bio: Mousey grew up as a ragamuffin in 19th century London. He's a lovable street urchin with a penchant for sweeping chimneys and swiping purses. Costume 1: White, Brown, and Red Costume 2: Tan and Blue Costume 3: Red and Green Costume 4: White and Black Comments: Ugh... Sorry Mousey. Mousey doesn't have much going for him. He may be fast, but his jump only average and his defense is low. His weapon has decent power, but requires a reload which prevents good damage. His secondary doesn't have any real usefulness. He just doesn't make the grade for me. 11. Billy Ray Logg Species: Tree Weapon: Chain Arm Defense: High Speed:Low Jump: Low Rating: 6.5/10 Bio: Billy Ray Logg is the world's first mutant tree, and he's furious about it. Costume 1: Wood Brown Costume 2: Moss Green Costume 3: Tundra Blue Costume 4: Horizon Orange Comments: Billy is alright character. He has minimal mobility that limits him. His defense is pretty top notch. His weapon is limited to closed-in areas due to the relection of the saws. The Saw shield is useful when a lot of people are around you. Overall, he's just above average. 12. ISO-7982 Species: Robot Weapon: Chain Arm Defense: Medium Speed:Medium-High Jump: Medium-High Rating: 8/10 Bio: ISO is a robot with one purpose: to serve the rich aboard 21st century cruise ships. Also, he's a killing machine with an appetite for meat. Costume 1: Orange Costume 2: Brown Costume 3: Green Costume 4: Blue Comments: ISO is pretty good in my opinion. His weapon is versatile. I especially like the Missile. His stats are pretty decent. His weapon can get you out of many pinches due to it's missile and pistol capabilities. 13. ISO-BOSS* Species: Robot Weapon: Multi-Combat Arm Defense: High Speed:Low Jump: Low Rating: -/10 Bio: Same as ISO-7982 Costume 1: Red Costume 2: N/A Costume 3: N/A Costume 4: N/A Comments: Unplayable character that is like ISO-7982 in every way but more powerful and taller. He is the boss of the game. *His name is still ISO-7982, but I call him ISO-BOSS so people know the difference. 14. IVAR Species: Tiger Weapon: Ninja Arm Defense: Medium Speed: Medium-Low Jump: Medium-High Rating: 6/10 Bio: Ivar is a four time "Mr. Artic-Ice Tournament" Ice fishing champion, and is an avid environmentalist and recycler. Costume 1: Black and Orange Costume 2: Blue and Orange Costume 3: Green and Green Costume 4: Orange and Brown Comments: He's a slower, more defensive Fox Claw. He's better with another weapon other than a ninja arm (it doesn't really suit him well in my opinion.) 15. GULLARP Species: Elephant Weapon: Bow Arm Defense: Medium-High Speed: Medium-Low Jump: Medium Rating: 7/10 Bio: Gullarp's ambitions are primal at best. He spends most days looting small villages and penguin bowling. Costume 1: Gray and Green Costume 2: Pink and Blue Costume 3: Purple and Bright Blue Costume 4: White and Black Comments: He's very similar to Pete. He takes less damage but is a little slower. He reminds me of the Elephant from the Jungle Book. He's a decent fighter, but I think Pete is better. 3. It can get you of a pinch with it's shotgun or just take out enemies with it's main fire. Weapon: Bow Arm Used By: Pete & Gullarp Primary Fire: Crossbow Bolt Primary Damage: Medium Primary Range: Long Secondary Fire: Apple Grenade Bolt Secondary Damage: High Secondary Range: Long Rating: 8/10 Comments: This a very deadly weapon. It can cause havoc in most situations. Pick this up when you can unless you're happy with your current weapon. Weapon: Ninja Arm Used By: Fox & Ivar Primary Fire: Sword Slash Primary Damage: Medium-Low Primary Range: Low (wide) Secondary Fire: Sword Throw Secondary Damage: Medium-Low Secondary Range: Medium-Low (wide) Rating: 6/10 Comments: This an alright weapon. It lacks the range and attack power to do any real damage, but the sword does have a good wide range for hitting targets. When throwing the sword, you can hold down the button to hold the sword suspended in the air. If an opponent is dumb enough to keep standing there in the sword, it deals much greater damage. Weapon: Ice Arm Used By: Tyrone Primary Fire: Ice Shard Gun Primary Damage: Medium-Low Primary Range: Medium-Long Secondary Fire: Frost Cloud Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Very Short Rating: 6.5/10 Comments: This is a good weapon only in certain situations. The Frost Cloud is good in levels with lots of cliffs, but don't expect to rack up many kills in levels like Moonbase. Weapon: Flame Arm Used By: Pector Primary Fire: Flame Thrower Primary Damage: Medium-High Primary Range: Low Secondary Fire: Molotov Cocktail Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Medium (Lob) Rating: 7/10 Comments: This a good weapon because the cocktails spread fire everywhere. In levels with lots of cliffs, people can be forced to run off because they're on fire. The flamethrower is powerful, but short ranged. Weapon: Plasma Arm Used By: Zöe Primary Fire: Plasma Orb Blaster Primary Damage: Medium-High Primary Range: Medium-Long Secondary Fire: Force Beam Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Medium Long Rating: 7/10 Comments: This is pretty powerful weapon. The problem is that the main fire has slow moving shots. The secondary fire actually pushes people. Overall pretty useful. Weapon: Lightning Arm Used By: Unit 51 Primary Fire: Lightning Blast Primary Damage: High Primary Range: Medium-Long Secondary Fire: Electric Roller Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Medium-Long (Rolling) Rating: 8.5/10 Comments: This is a cheap but effective weapon. The roller can get people you can't directly aim at because the shot rolls on the ground. The main fire drains health very quickly. Weapon: Multi-Combat Arm Used By: ISO-7982 & ISO-BOSS Primary Fire: Pistol Primary Damage: Medium Primary Range: Medium-Long Secondary Fire: Missile Secondary Damage: High Secondary Range: Long (Homing) Rating: 8/10 Comments: This a good weapon as well. The pistol is pretty strong, but the rocket is very powerful and homes onto targets. This can help in a pinch. Weapon: Psychic Arm Used By: Professor Primary Fire: Pyschic Tracers Primary Damage: Medium Primary Range: Long (Homing) Secondary Fire: Telekinetic Push Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Short Rating: 7/10 Comments: The main fire on this baby is sweet. The secondary is better used sparingly due to it's short range. Overall useful when the enemy is trying to run. Weapon: Duo Arm Used By: Mousey Primary Fire: Dual Pistols Primary Damage: Medium Primary Range: Medium-Long Secondary Fire: Bullet Storm Secondary Damage: Medium-High Secondary Range: Medium-Long Rating: 3/10 Comments: This weapon kinda sucks. It has decent strength, but the reload factor takes away from long streams of damage. The secondary doesn't do much at all for me. Weapon: Saw Arm Used By: Logg Primary Fire: Saw Blade Shot Primary Damage: Medium Primary Range: Long (Reflecting) Secondary Fire: Saw Blade Shield Secondary Damage: Medium Secondary Range: Very Short Rating: 6.5/10 Comments: This weapon is very useful in closed places like Moonbase because the Saw blades bounce around causing more damage. The Shield is semi-useful, though it doesn't protect you, it just hurts your opponent. Weapon: Sniper Arm Used By: Truffles Primary Fire: High Velocity Shot Primary Damage: Medium-High Primary Range: Very Long Secondary Fire: Proximity Mines Secondary Damage: High Secondary Range: None (You drop them) Rating: 5/10 Comments: The sniper is powerful but lacks that rapid fire capability. The mines are good, but they can only do so much. This is a decent weapon that is a bit lacking overall. 4. [ARE4] _ ___ ___ _ _ _ ___ /_\ | _ \ __| \| | /_\ / __| / _ \| / _|| .` |/ _ \\__ \ /_/ \_\_|_\___|_|\_/_/ \_\___/ Bazaar: This is a small arena. It reminds me of Aladdin or something. There are no really good vantage points, but the small size makes for some hectic games. There are cliffs on both sides. Outhouse: This kinda reminds me of the Kirby level in Smash Bros. The small bridge has a hole in it that kills a surprising number of people. A good vantage point is the platform on the left side, second from the left. Moonbase: This is a fun arena. There is a rocket in the middle and two elevators (one on each side). In the middle is a pit where hectic battles can occur. There are no cliffs here. This is one of my favorite levels. There are no real vantage points. Sewer: This a pretty boring level. This is where you face the final boss. It consists of one big plaform with a bump on each side and two destroyable platforms (that reappear) on each side. Once again, no real vantage points. In Multiplayer, the middle pops out into a little hole. It's kinda neat. Train: This a cool level. The only "cliffs" are at the begining and the end of the train. This level is a moving level that takes you to the front and back of this train with plenty of weapons along the way. There is also a food car with tons of meat in it. Moving levels never have vantage points. Tornado: This is an odd level. Like Train, it too is a moving level. You basically move in a giant circle around this tornado. The whole level is floating so falling to your doom is all-too-easy (hehe Darth Vader). Make sure you don't lose yourself and watch your jumps. Waterfall: This is a lot like the DK Waterfall level in Smash Bros. This level has a great vantage point. The rock platform second from the bottom left is great because food drops there a lot and the CPU will try to attack from the log. This is a good Molotov Cocktail level. Volcano: MY FAVORITE! This has a great vantage point. The top left platform is gold. Be carefuk because lava is instant death. The middle platform occasionally shoots upward, bringing fire and lava with it. Iceberg: [Content Download] This level is very slippery. The left side features a damaged ship. The middle has ice pillars that go up and down. The right has a cliff. It's a fun level, just slippery. Village: [Content Download] This level is fun as well. To the far right is a watch (sniper) tower. There is an undergound tunnel, and a burning house. You can only enter the house from underground, but you can shoot the hole in the house. 5. Should you have a prefered weapon, and I don't mention it in the strategy, that doesn't mean it couldn't be used. My strategies try to focus on the weapon the character begins with, and if that weapon is less effective, what weapon should be used instead. If you have other strategies or thoughts, my email is at the end of the FAQ. As a note, I beat the game with every character, so I know what I'm talking about. Remember these strategies are my OPINION and are not the only way to go about beating these levels. Also, just because I never mention punching, doesn't mean you shouldn't punch. Punching is a VALUABLE attack with all characters, so USE IT. One more thing, I recomend reading my entire strategy for a level before starting a fight IF you need help. If you're not having trouble, don't read the guide because whatever you're doing works for you. Should you need help, read the entire passage about a stage, then start the level. Another thing: Yes, I know most of the Lv10 strategies are nearly identical. Since the level is the same for all characters, it is reasonable that the same methods can be used to beat the final level. Why should I type the same thing up 12 times and word it slightly different each time? Anyway, that was a heads up. My scale: 1-2 - Really Easy 3-4 - Easy 4-5 - Kind of Easy 6 - Medium 7 - Tough 8 - Pretty Tough 9 - Hard 10 - Insanely Hard |-----MARKY KAT-----| Level 1:Unit 51 @ Outhouse Difficulty: 2/10 Strategy: This is a pretty easy one since it's the first one. Just shoot him up with the rapid fire. Use shotgun blast by the hole in the bridge for an easy kill. If needed, pick up a Lightning Arm and just drain his health away. Level 2: Pete & Pector @ Train Difficulty: 4/10 Strategy: Watch out for Pete since he as the Cross Arm. The exploding shots are deadly. Pector's Cocktails also can give you trouble. But overall, this one is pretty simple. Race to the food, use your Chain Arm, and maybe pick up the Cross Arm is you need it. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Fox @ Waterfall Difficulty: 2/10 Strategy: Stay to the left side of the level. Food drops down a lot there, so your health should be in good supply. If she gets close use shotgun. Other than that, your chain arm should work just fine. Just let the CPU be dumb and chill around the log. Level 5: Mr. Truffles & Zöe @ Bazaar Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: Mr. Truffles will shoot you from afar and Zöe will try to attack closer. Watch out for Truffle's mines. Zöe will probably kill herself once. Her slow moving shots should be easy to avoid. For Truffles, use the shotgun up close, his lack of close range combat will haunt him. Level 6: Unit 51, Mr. Truffles, and Fox @ Train Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: This one can be a little tough. Unit 51 has a powerful weapon, so try to escape from his range. Fox will try to get up close. Truffles will stay back and occasionally drop mines. Your shotgun works well along with the normal Chain gun fire. If a Lightning Arm drops down, grab it because it has great use in this level. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Pector & Pete @ Tornado Difficulty: 5.5/10 Strategy: The CPU is dumb. They will fall to their deaths unprovoked quite a bit. Keep your footing and watch your jumps and you'll be ok. Your shotgun works well here, use it. Try to grab food before they do. Level 9: Mousey, Professor, & Zöe @ Waterfall Difficulty: 6.5/10 Strategy: Pretty much the same strategy as the last Waterfall level, except you're less likely to get a Cross Arm. I suggest using either the Professors Psychic Arm or the Plasma Arm. Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: First you must face 2 normal ISOs. Then the ISO-BOSS comes out. He eventually will be followed by additional ISOs. For the first two, just fire normally while standing still in the center of the arena. The rockets they shoot will hit your bullets and explode in the faces. This will pretty much destroy them with taking almost no damage. Once ISO-BOSS comes, KEEP HIM AWAY FROM FOOD! He has normal health but a sick defense. The best weapons to use on him are Lightning Arm, Plasma Arm, or the Flamethrower. Try to get him stuck on a platform. He doesn't try to jump off much. As time goes on, more ISOs will come, but they can be ignored. They tend to steal food and weapons, so just be quick on that. Once you've defeated BOSS, the level and game is over. Congrats! |-----LORD PETE-----| Level 1: Pector @ Train Difficulty: 2/10 Strategy: This is a pretty simple one. I recomend just keeping your distance and using your Exploding Arrows to deal good damage. Watch out for Cocktails. You shouldn't need to use anything other than the Bow Arm. Level 2: Fox & Zöe @ Waterfall Difficulty: 3.5/10 Strategy: This one isn't a hard one either. I suggest you use my normal Waterfall strategy and chill on the platform a little bit above the log and to the left. Pete's Bow Arm is very effective here. Let the CPU chill in the log. Your exploding arrows are the key to an easy victory. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Marky @ Moonbase Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: Marky won't pose much of a challenge. He'll run a lot when his health gets low, so try to keep up. The elevators are where he'll run to escape. As usual, your exploding arrows will be great for when he attempts to flee. Try to get the food and ammo before he does and you'll be ok. Level 5: Unit 51 & Mr. Truffles @ Bazaar Difficulty: 6.5/10 Strategy: Unit 51 is going to be a constant threat to your health while Truffles will get you from affar. Use your exploding arrows to make them recoil which prevents them from firing. Picking up a Lightning Arm wouldn't hurt either. Make sure you get the food before they do. Try to get them to jump over the right cliff because hitting them in the air with your exploding arrow can make them fall to their death. Level 6: Fox, Pector, and Marky @ Train Difficulty: 7.5/10 Strategy: Fox is gonna be in your face constantly. Then you have to worry about the constant Cocktail attack from Pector. Marky isn't too much of a problem, it's just since there are two other people here that he becomes a problem. Use your exploding arrows to deal good damage, especially when they clump together like CPUs do. None of them have outstanding defenses so a few well placed explosions can take them out. Make sure you use the food car when you get to it. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Proffessor and Zöe @ Waterfall Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: Same old Waterfall strategy as level 2. The Proffessor has homing shots, so watch out for those. Zöe has powerful shots, but are easy to dodge. Basically, just keep getting the food drops and ammo supplies and you'll be just fine. Level 9: Mr. Truffles, Zöe, and Billy Ray Logg @ Bazaar Difficulty: 8.5/10 Strategy: You should be familiar with Truffles and Zöe by now. Logg on the other hand is new to you. He is very slow, but can take a lot of damage. His Saw Arm with have shots bouncing all over the place. Zöe has a tendacy to commit suicide here. Race for the food and use your exploding arrows to deal a lot of damage quickly. This can be a chaotic match so be ready. Zöe's Plasma Arm can be good against Logg due to his slow speed. Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Ammount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: For starters, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage. Use your exploding arrows to kill them and try to avoid any missle that does come your way. Once you kill them, and ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. Use your exploding arrows on him, but I highly recomend using Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm if you can find one. If you get BOSS stuck on a platform, he sometimes gets a lot of food, so try to provoke him to the side of the platform. If you can get this to work, he'll sit there and use all his ammmo. Then you have clean fire on him until more ISOs appear. Those ISOs are more of a nuisance than a threat. Once you defeat him, Congrats, Game Over, You Win! |-----FOX CLAW-----| Level 1: Pete @ Waterfall Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: USe my Waterfall left platform strategy to gain health and stay healthy. Use your sword throw to attack him. It's not a bad idea to get a Bow Arm though. Overall just stay on your platform and attack him as he chills on the log. Watch out for his exploding arrows. Level 2: Mr. Truffles & Marky @ Outhouse Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: I'm gonna recomend picking up the Sniper Arm here. Try to chill at the left side of the stage while the CPU will try to attack from the right. Use the Sniper Arm to shoot them from afar. If they are by the hole in the bridge, the Sniper Arm is probably going to make them fall to their death. Should you choose to use your Ninja Arm instead, just keep a constant attack flow and grab health when you need it. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Zöe @ Moonbase Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: Use your speed to dodge Zöe's slow shots. These shots are powerful, but obviously do nothing if they don't hit you. Use your speed and Ninja Arm to pursue her if she tries to run. Her Plasma Arm is pretty useful against her as well, if you're having trouble using the Ninja Arm. Level 5: Unit 51 & Pector @ Train Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: This is another use your speed one. Unit 51's Lightning Arm is deadly, so try to take cover frequently. The Cocktails from Pector are also going to give you problems. Your Ninja Arm is not the greatest weapon for this level, so try getting a Lightning Arm. Keep moving and grab food when it comes. You have the speed advantage, but not much more. Level 6: Mr. Truffles, Unit 51, & Pector @ Volcano Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: This isn't as hard as it looks. Chill on the top left platform and grab food as it comes. Pick up a fully-auto weapon and fire at them while they all stay to the right. They will often kill themselves trying to jump over to you. Just chill there and eat the food that comes down. Exploding type weapons work well here. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Billy Ray Logg & Mousey @ Waterfall Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: Mousey is fast, but he's vulnerable to damage. Logg is the opposite. Use your Ninja Arm from the left platform to attack them. Logg's weapon is slightly effective here, but Mousey's doesn't pose much of a threat. Mousey will probably die first, but Logg takes a while. If you can find a Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm, use them to defeat Logg. Overall, as long as you stick to the left side, you'll be alright. Level 9: Marky, Pete, & Zöe @ Train Difficulty: 8/10 Strategy: Ohh this a tough one. Hard level with some hard characters. Survival is not going to be easy at first. I highly recomend picking up a Cross Arm and using your speed to outrun them. Pete is going to bombard you with exploding arrows. Zöe will also become a nuisance, especially with Marky constantly shooting at you with his Chain Arm. Use a Cross Arm to deal the damage you need and possibily pick up a Plasma Arm. Make sure you raid the food car like nobody's business. Your Ninja Arm isn't as effective here. Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer Difficulty: 9/10 Strategy: For starters, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage. Your Ninja Arm doesn't help much here. Try getting a Chain Arm to deal with the two ISOs, because it's bullets destroy the missiles. This is the easiest way to dispose of the those two. When ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. I highly recomend using Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm if you can find one. Once you defeat BOSS, there's a big explosion and you win. Yay! Congrats! |-----TYRONE-----| Level 1: Unit 51 @ Outhouse Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: Unit 51's Lightning Arm is the reason this could be somewhat difficult. Basically, use your frost cloud on him by the hole in the bridge and you should be just fine. Don't let him sit there and fire at you, or your health will deplete very quickly. Level 2: Fox & Zöe @ Train Difficulty: 4.5/10 Strategy: Your Ice Arm isn't very useful here, so try to find a Plasma Arm to use. Both opponents are fast but lack in the defense department. You're kinda slow, so focus on attacking instead of dodging. Use that food car when you get to it. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Pector @ Bazaar Difficulty: 3.5/10 Strategy: If you catch fire, it's pretty hard to live, so avoid the flame thrower or the cocktails. Your Ice Arm is VERY USEFUL here. Go to bottom right corner of the stage where the hut is. Go under the hut, jump off the cliff, and dash ontop of the hut. When the CPU follows you, Frost Cloud him in the air for an easy kill. Level 5: Mr. Truffles & Marky @ Moonbase Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: Your Ice Arm is not very useful so ditch it. If you can find one, use a Lightnine Arm, though a Chain Arm works well too. Try not to hold still since Truffles will snipe you. Use the shotgun blast if they get close. IF you're using the Lightning Arm, just fire away. Get the food before they do. You're not very quick, so be agressive. Level 6: Pector, Pete, & Fox @ Outhouse Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: Like Lv1, you can try to lure the CPU to the hole in the bridge and use your frost cloud. The frost cloud effects multiple targets, so you can kill all 3 with one shot. Other than that, eat meat to keep healthy, and keep grabbing ammo. If you don't like this method, pick up a different weapon and chill at the left side of the screen and pcik them off from a distance. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Mr. Truffles & Proffessor @ Waterfall Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: Your Ice Arm can be useful here. You can either chill on the left side of the stage and use a different weapon or lure them to the right, only to freeze them above the cliff, causing them to fall to their death. Both sides contain a lot of food. You'll be alright. Level 9: Marky, Mousey, & Unit 51 @ Train Difficulty: 8.5/10 Strategy: Tough one here.Use your frost cloud right away to prevent a quick death. Try to grab a Lightning Arm, since it's the deadliest. Other good weapons to pick up are the Chain Arm, Plasma Arm, or the Mulit-Combat Arm. You can take a few hits, but the damage adds up quickly. Use that food car to it's max. Unit 51 is the main threat, while Mousey is more of just a nuisance. Marky is kind of tough, but managable. Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer Difficulty: 8/10 Strategy: For starters, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage. Your Ice Arm doesn't help much here. Try getting a Chain Arm or Lightning Arm to deal with the two ISOs, because it destroys the missiles. This is the easiest way to dispose of the those two. When ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. I highly recomend using Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm if you can find one. You can take a few hits, but be careful. Once you defeat BOSS, there's a big explosion and you win. You have beaten Small Arms as Tyrone! Yay! |-----PECTOR EL POLLO-----| Level 1: Fox @ Moonbase Difficulty: 2.5/10 Strategy: Fox is quick, but she can't much damage. Your cocktails will work fine. Also, you flamethrower works well if she decides to hold still. You see, sometimes she'll throw her sword and hold it there. She'll remain motionless while doing this. The sword causes a lot of damage while hovering there, but if you don't touch it, you'll be fine. While she sits there, burn her. Level 2: Mr. Truffles & Marky @ Train Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: As with most levels, your cocktails will be useful. Since this is a moving stage, your flamethrower is less effective. Should you choose, you can pick a Chain Arm instead, though it doesn't really matter. Keep in cover from Truffles and use cocktails to burn them, hence preventing them from attacking. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Zöe @ Bazaar Difficulty: 3/10 Strategy: Burn, Baby Burn! Haha... no but seriosuly. Small level, plenty of cliff space, and fire. Use your cocktails on her by the edge. If she catches fire, there's a good chance she'll run off the cliff. Repeat and eat and you'll be fine. Level 5: Pete & Unit 51 @ Waterfall Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: Your cocktails are going to save you here. Both enemies can deal some serious damage to you, but they can't when they're on fire. Chill on the left platform and get the food as it comes down. The CPU will hide in the log. Use your cocktails to burn them, causing them to most likely run off the cliff. As my created cliche goes: Repeat and Eat. Level 6: Marky, Pete, & Zöe @ Volcano Difficulty: 4.5/10 Strategy: Yet another Repeat and Eat level. Chill on the top left platform. Food comes down, so you'll be okay health wise. Use your cocktails to catch the CPU on fire, causing them to run to their firey doom. They will try to come to you eventually, but often kill themselves. Try to avoid the exploding crossbow arrows and and you'll be fine. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Mousey & Mr.Truffles @ Waterfall Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: This is just like last time at Waterfall (Lv5), but easier. Mousey isn't much of a threat, so cocktails can kill him easily. Truffles will cause some trouble, but like so many times before, being on fire prevents attacks. Get them to catch fire and run off the cliff. Repeat and Eat. Level 9: Unit 51, Professor, & Fox @ Bazaar Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: Unit 51 is going to be your main threat. The other two are not that bad. Like Lv4, your cocktails are going to be useful. Sorry if I use cocktails too much, but it's a strength of Pector. Use them by the cliff to cause them to run off the cliffs and die. Grab the food before they do as usual. If you happen to get an Ice Arm, you can use the Tyrone strategy to freeze them over the cliff for easy kills. Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer Difficulty: 8/10 Strategy: To begin, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close and fire missiles because they tend to hit each otherfor high damage. Your flamethrower can also drain their health while they stand there. When ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. I highly recomend using your flamethower, or perhaps a Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm if you can find one. Your flamethrower works ver well if he just sits there. Once you defeat ISO-BOSS, there's a big explosion and you win. Congrats! Usted ha ganado (as Pector would say). |-----ZÖE-----| Level 1: Unit 51 @ Outhouse Difficulty: 3.5/10 Strategy: Unit 51 can easily drain your health, but other than that this isn't too hard. Your Plasma Arm is strong, so as long as you move a little and keep shooting him, he'll die quickly. Keep healthy by grabbing some food. Other than that, you'll be okay. Level 2: Fox & Pector @ Bazaar Difficulty: 4.5/10 Strategy: Pector is gonna be annoying because of all the fire that he cause from his cocktails. Fox won't be much of a problem. Your Plasma Arm will be fine here. You can use the Force Beam to push opponents off the edge, though you can get by without it. As usual, get the food before they do. Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE Level 4: Pete @ Waterfall Difficulty: 4.5/10 Strategy: Pete's exploding arrows are deadly, so try not to hold still. Hang out at the left platform to constantly obtain food. Use your Plasma Arm to deal good damage, but be careful since it doesn't have any knockdown on the enemy. Don't get careless and you'll be ok. Level 5: Mr. Truffles & Marky @ Train Difficulty: 6.5/10 Strategy: Alright so here we go. Truffles is going to stay back and try to shoot you from a distance while Marky will be more in your face. Your Plasma Arm will be pretty effective against both opponents. Just keep firing, moving, and eating. Get to the food car before they do. Other weapons that are useful are the Lightning Arm or Multi-Combat Arm. Level 6: Marky, Unit 51, & Fox @ Volcano Difficulty: 6.5/10 Strategy: Chill on the top left platform. Use your Plasma Arm to fire from a distance, picking up health or ammo when needed. The force beam works well too. The enemy will often kill themselves trying to come to you from the right side. The Lightning Arm is pretty useful here as well, if you happen to pick one up. Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE Level 8: Pector & Pete @ Waterfall Difficulty: 7/10 Strategy: This is like Lv4 but harder. You have Pete still, but now Pector. Use the same strategy as before, but this time watch out for Pector's fire based attacks which can cause you to ignite and run off the cliff. Keep grabbing food, keep moving, keep firing and you can beat this.
Level 9: Pector, Professor, & Mousey @ Train
Difficulty: 8/10
Strategy: Another tough one here. Well Mousey won't be much of a
problem, but Professor and Pector will be. Professor has homing
shots and you ought to know about Pector's fire attacks by now.
Your plasma arm is useful against all foes, so weaponry shouldn't
be a problem. Other than that, keep moving, keep firing, and
take advantage of the food car.
Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer
Difficulty: 6.5/10
Strategy: To begin, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat
them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close
and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage.
Your Plasma Arm is VERY USEFUL against the ISOs and BOSS, so use it.
When ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. I highly recomend using your Plasma Arm,
or perhaps a Lightning Arm if you can find one, though it's not needed.
Get BOSS stuck on a platform, he sometimes gets a lot of food, so try to
provoke him to the side of the platform. If you can get this to
work, he'll sit there and use all his ammmo. Then you have clean
fire on him until more ISOs appear. Those ISOs are more of a
nuisance than a threat. Just light him up with your Plasma Arm for
severe damage, and he'll fall in no time. Then there's a big boom,
BOSS is dead, YOU WIN! Lover Bot is #1! Haha... just kidding.
-----UNIT 51-----
Level 1: Pete @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 1.5/10
Strategy: Not very hard. Unit 51 has the best weapon, in my opinion,
in the entire game. Your lightning arm can kill Pete very easily,
while you take only medium damage. Just grab food, if you get low
health. Other than that, no sweat.
Level 2: Zöe & Marky @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Chill on that left platform and eat the meat. Your lightning
arm will take care of both Zöe and Marky. They won't pose much of a
threat. Seriously, your lightning arm is a gold mine of kills.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Pector @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 2.5/10
Strategy: LIGHTNING ARM. I can't say it enough. Pector lacks the
attack range that you have. Keep your distance, eat the meat,
and fire away. Seriously, you don't need to use anything else
than the lightning arm.
Level 5: Fox & Mr. Truffles @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: Finally, a somewhat challenging level. So, Truffles
will try to get out of your attack range, while Fox will
be in your face. Fox won't be too hard, since your Lightning
Arm will drain her health easily. Once Fox is gone, pursue
Truffles like a stalker. He isn't good at close range, so
use that lightning arm and keep moving. It'll force him to
move, which he doesn't like to do. Other than that, keep
on the heat and you'll be ok.
Level 6: Pector, Mr. Truffles, and Pete @ Volcano
Difficulty: 4.5/10
Strategy: Not nearly as hard as you'd think. Truffles will
be the last to fall. Chill on the top left platform and
eat the meat that falls. Fire away at your opponents from
a distance. Your Lightning Arm is ver effective, and the
CPU will often kill themselves trying to come to attack
you. If you don't run very far, you'll be okay.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Zöe & Mousey @ Tornado
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Mousey isn't a threat and Zöe isn't much either.
Focus more on not falling off a cliff rather than killing
the opponent. Your lightning arm will demolish both opponents
if they don't kill themselves first. Not a lot of food, so
try to avoid attacks, but other than that, just relax.
Level 9: Fox, Professor, & Billy Ray Logg @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: Alright, you have the firepower to deal with these
opponents. The problem is that Fox will be in your face while
Professor will be blasting with homing shots, all while Logg
has reflecting Saw shots going every which way. Take out Fox
first, followed by Professor. Your Lightning Arm can deal with
them. As for Logg, use your Lightning Arm on him too, but be
careful. You have to keep moving, but it shouldn't be too
bad once you have killed off a few opponents.
Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: To begin, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat
them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close
and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage.
Your Lightning Arm is VERY USEFUL against the ISOs and BOSS, so use it.
When ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. I highly recomend using your Lightning Arm.
Just light him up with your Lightning Arm for
severe damage, and he'll fall in no time. BOOM! You win! Boo-Rah!
-----MR. TRUFFLES-----
Level 1: Fox @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Sniper time. You'll be hearing this a lot. Fox can't take
too many hits, so snipe her. Chill on the left platform and eat
the meat as it falls down. Just keep firing at her and she'll
die quickly. Not too hard.
Level 2: Pete & Zöe @ Train
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Well, your sniper arm is only semi-effective. Use
a Bow Arm or a Plasma Arm if you'd like. Whatever you choose,
keep moving and keep attacking. Take advantage of that food car.
Zöe goes down easily, but Pete is little tougher. Avoid the
slow moving Plasma Arm shots from Zöe and keep moving to
prevent being hit by exploding arrows from Pete. Overall,
this isn't too tough.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Marky @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 3.5/10
Strategy: Alright, you can pretty much snipe your way through
this one. Get Marky over a cliff and shoot him for an easy
kill. If you don't want to use the Sniper Arm, use a Chain
Arm. Play Smart and you'll be fine.
Level 5: Pector & Unit 51 @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 5.5/10
Strategy: Keep your distance from Unit 51. Pector has a short
range, so he shouldn't be too much trouble. Use your sniper
arm to deal damage from a distance. If you can get them by
the hole in the bridge, a sniper shot can make them fall
down and obviously die. The top left area is a good vantage
point. Try to keep healthy and avoid Unit 51's Lightning
Arm. Also, you can use a Lightning Arm is you'd like.
Level 6: Unit 51, Pete, & Marky @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 8/10
Strategy: This a tough one. You're going to be bombarded with
deadly attacks. You should be familiar with all 3 of these
opponents. Honestly, the sniper bit isn't going to work.
You need a Lightning Arm or a Bow Arm to deal a lot of damage
fast. Anyway, hang out on the left platform like in Lv1.
The food supply will give you a much needed boost. Use
the Bow Arm or Lightning Arm to deal the needed damage
to your enemies. I suppose you can get away using a Sniper
Arm, but it will make for a much harder match.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Fox & Professor @ Train
Difficulty: 6.5/10
Strategy: Both opponents can be taken care of with the Sniper
Arm. The problem is the moving level makes it hard to keep
a good vantage point. Use that food car when you get to it.
Fox should go down easily due to her low defense. Should you
find one, I recomend using a Multi-Combat Arm for it's missiles.
Other that that, this one isn't too hard.
Level 9: Mousey, Zöe, & Billy Ray Logg @ Volcano
Difficulty: 5.5/10
Strategy: I love Volcano. All you need to do is to sit on the top
left platform and snipe all your opponents. When they try to
come to kill you, a good sniper shot will make them fall to
their lava-ey doom. You really don't need any other weapon
than your sniper arm.
Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer
Difficulty: 7.5/10
Strategy: To begin, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat
them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close
and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage.
Your Sniper Arm is not very useful, so pick up a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm instead. Also, a Chain Arm works well on the ISOs but not BOSS.
Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your Sniper Arm may be semi-uesful
if you use the mines, but other than that, it's not much help.
Once you defeat BOSS, there's lots of explosions, and you win.
Congrats!
-----PROFESSOR VON BROWN-----
Level 1: Fox @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Simple. Keep your distance and use your Psychic
Arm from a distance. If she gets close, use the T-Push
for some decent damage. Overall, this one is nothing.
Level 2: Marky & Pete @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Start by chilling on the upper-left platform. This
will give you a good supply of food. Watch out for Pete's
exploding arrows. Your homing shots from your Pyschic Arm
work well here. Just keep firing. As long as you don't stray
from that platform, you'll be ok.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Zöe @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 3/10
Strategy: Zöe has a powerful weapon, but that's about it. Your
Pyschic Arm works well here, though use of a Plasma Arm is
not a bad idea either. Zöe has good speed, but low defense.
Your Pyschic Arm works well on hitting her as she flees.
Overall, this one isn't very tough.
Level 5: Unit 51 & Pector @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: This one is tough. Your Psychic Arm is less effective
because of the obstacles of the level. Unit 51 is always a pain
in the... butt. Your T-Push is useful here, but in all I recomend
picking up a Lightning Arm due to it's great firepower. Try to
keep moving, or Pector will light you on fire. In this level,
being on fire can mean easy death. You can also try picking
up a FLame Arm and fighting fire with fire. Make sure you get
the meat before they do.
Level 6: Pete, Unit 51, & Mr. Truffles @ Volcano
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: Easy Level, Hard Characters, so the balance out. Stay
at the top left platform. Your Psychic Arm is useful because
the level is wide open. Use the homing shots from a distance
and collect the food that comes. The enemies will often kill
themselves trying to get to you. Watch out for Unit 51 and
his Lightning Arm (you can pick one up if you'd like). Pete
will also be annoying due to his exploding arrows. Truffles
is likely to be the last to go. If this happens, just use
your homing shots to take him down.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Zöe & Fox @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Both opponents are fast but weak. So, pumping them
up with homing Psychic Arm shots is a great way to take them
out. Zöe has powerful, yet avoidable, shots. Just chill on
the upper left area of the stage and use those homing shots
and you'll be ok. You could use a Plasma Arm if you'd like,
though it's not really needed.
Level 9: Marky, Mousey, & Pector @ Train
Difficulty: 7.5/10
Strategy: This another tough one. Mousey is going to be an
annoying character while Marky and Pector are actually
threats. Mousey can be killed with just about anything.
Your Pyschic Arm works well here, though a Chain Arm
is not a bad choice either. I recomend NOT using a Duo
Arm since it just is not useful at all to me. Use that food car
to it's max since there generally is not a lot of food in the
rest of the level. Make sure to keep moving. Watch out for
Pector's fire attacks, and you can even use a Flame Arm yourself
if you'd like. In all, be conservative and be careful.
A Chain Arm works well on the ISOs it destroys the missiles.
Once BOSS comes, use a Plasma Or Lightning Arm for good damage.
Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your T-Push may be useful on the ISOs but
other than that, don't really use it. Once you defeat BOSS, there's some
explosions, and you win. Yay! Now go and get those meddling kids!
Just kidding, but seriously, congrats!
-----MOUSEY McNUTS-----
Level 1: Zöe @ Train
Difficulty: 3.5/10
Strategy: You're both fast, but weak. Her weapon is strong; yours isn't.
I recomend grabbing a Plasma Arm to level the playing field. Use
your speed to avoid her shots. Grab food before she does, especially
in the food car. Other than that, just keep moving and you'll be okay.
Level 2: Pete & Mr. Truffles @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 5.5/10
Strategy: Both Characters can kill you in 3 shots. So KEEP MOVING. Once
again, your Duo Arm is not very useful, so pick up a Bow Arm instead.
Use the Bow Arm to level the playing field and give you the edge you
need. Grab the food before they do. You have a great advantage over
Truffles because you're fast, and he has a low fire rate. You should
be able to avoid him. Keep moving and eating, and you'll be okay.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Unit 51 @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Unit 51 can kill you in seconds if you hold still, so KEEP
MOVING. Your Duo Arm is once again less effective. I highly recomend
using a Lightning Arm and (as I've said twice already) level the
playing field. Make sure to hang out by the top left platform for
much needed food. If you keep this up, you should be able to beat him.
Level 5: Marky & Pector @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: Your speed is you advantage. Keep away from Pectors fire
attacks, since they deal good damage to you. I recomend using a
Chain Arm. It's shotgun will move opponents away from you on impact,
so this helps repel Pector. Keep moving and grab that food. Use
the elevators to escape if health gets low. Remember, KEEP MOVING.
Level 6: Mr. Truffles, Marky, & Zöe @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: You're going to want to stay by the top left platform for
a good constant food supply. Your Duo Arm is not useful here, so
grab a Plasma Arm. Use the Plasma Arm to take out your opponents.
It's power is high, so if can quickly dispose of any of your 3
opponents. Your speed should help you dodge Zöe's Plasma shots.
Truffless can be a nuisance, but your speed will overcome him.
As for Marky, his Chain Arm can be deadly so try to take him out
first. As usual, KEEP MOVING.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Logg & Fox @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 10/10
Strategy: ARGH! Whoever chose to face Logg at Bazaar needs to be
slapped. This one is HARD. Your Duo Arm is too weak to do serious
damage to Logg. The Ninja Arm works, but to really get good damage,
you need to hold still, which as Mousey is BAD because Logg will
RIP YOU APART with his bouncing Saw Blades. Fox will die first
with no doubt. There's not many useful weapons available, and
when a good one DOES show up, you tend to die before you can use
it or the CPU gets it first. Your BEST bet is to hope an Ice Arm
comes down. Then you can use the Tyrone Bazaar strategy and freeze
them over the cliff. Still, Logg is a pain to kill. It literally
took me like 20 times to beat this level. I'm sorry, but you need
A LOT of LUCK and good use of your speed. Even with your speed,
Logg somehow shoots through platforms, and his saw blades bounce
all over, making it nearly impossible to predict when to jump
and such. Good luck, soldier.
Level 9: Professor, Pete, & Pector @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: After the last level, this is a walk in the park. Grab
a Psychic Arm and head to left side of the stage. The Pyschic
Arm can deal decent damage from a long range. Also, a Bow Arm
works very well as well. Use your speed to avoid attacks, especially
those of Pete. Watch out for Pector as well. Also, you can use
a Flame Arm to throw cocktails, causing the enemy to catch fire
and run off the hole in the bridge.
Your Duo Arm ACTUALLY works well on the ISOs because it destroys the
missiles. Once BOSS comes, use a Plasma Or Lightning Arm for good damage.
Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your Duo Arm is not useful against BOSS.
Once you defeat BOSS, there's the boom, and you win. You just beat
Small Arms with the hardest character to beat it with! CONGRATS!
-----BILLY RAY LOGG-----
Level 1: Mr. Truffles @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 2.5/10
Strategy: Your Saw Arm works well here. The blades will bounce
every which way, making it impossible for Truffles to avoid
damage. You can take quite a few hits, so don't worry about that.
You're slow, so don't really count on getting food before he does,
but that doesn't mean don't try. Anyway, this level is easy.
Level 2: Unit 51 & Fox @ Train
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Unit 51 has the power to kill you, but Fox is not really
a threat. Try not to get close to edge of the screen because
you're pretty slow. Grab a Lightning Arm if your Saw Arm isn't
performing to your tastes. Fox will go down quick, but Unit 51
will cause problems. Avoid his lightning, but make sure to keep
attacking him. Grab as much food as you can, but don't rely on
it.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Marky @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 1/10
Strategy: BEST LEVEL FOR LOGG. Your Saw Arm is VERY effective here.
Go in the interior of the stage and fire away. Your saw blades will
bounce every which way, causing inescapable damage for Marky. He
will die quickly and often for an easy easy win.
Level 5: Pector & Zöe @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Your Saw Arm is decently effective here. If you chill on
the left side of the stage, the CPU will attack from the right.
That tree is a perfect bounce point for your blades. Just keep
firing in that "cove" and your blades can overcome them. Other
strategies are using the Plasma Arm for high damage or using
the Flame Arm cocktails to make them catch fire and run off
the hole in the bridge.
Level 6: Zöe, Mr. Truffles, & Pete @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: This one can get kind of tough. Your Saw Arm is not so
effective, unless you fire in into the log. Stay to your left
and grab the food that comes down. Should your Saw Arm not work
out for you, a Plasma Arm works well and so does a Bow Arm.
Whatever you choose, your vantage point should be the left
platform. Your high defense and good food supply should keep
you healthy.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Mousey & Professor @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: This is just like Lv4. Use your Saw Arm to the MAX.
They won't be able to escape the endless amount of saws. You
won't need too much food, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't
grab any. Keep up your ammo and you'll be fine. No need to change
weapons.
Level 9: Fox, Pector, & Unit 51 @ Volcano
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: Use the Volcano strategy. Relax on the top left platform
and let them try to come to you. They will often kill themselves
attempting to do so. Unit 51 is deadly, but avoidable from a long
distance. Pector can light you on fire, but since you're so slow,
you should have no problem keeping yourself alive. You can use
your Saw Arm, though a Lightning Arm or Flame Arm is better.
Either way, just relax and have fun.
Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Amount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: To begin, you face to begining two ISOs. After you beat
them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them get close
and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other for high damage.
Your Multi-Combat Arm Pistols works well on the ISOs because it destroys
the missiles. Once BOSS comes, use a Plasma Or Lightning Arm for good damage.
Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your Missiles prove some-what useful against
BOSS. You can't take too many hits, so keep moving. Avoid the other ISOs.
When you finally kill BOSS, there's a big bang, and you win. Yay! Congrats!
Go serve the cruise liners or whatever ISO does!
-----ISO-7982-----
Level 1: Marky @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Easy. Use your missiles to deal great damage that is hard to avoid.
You can really roam freely and collect ammo and food. Marky will not
pose a challenge at all. Just use those missiles.
Level 2: Pector & Unit 51 @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 4.5/10
Strategy: As usual, Unit 51 can pose a real threat. Pector also is kind of
dangerous because of his fire, but overall, this one isn't too bad.
Once again, use your missiles for great unavoidable damage. Stay on
the top left platform for a good food supply. Grab ammo when needed
and you'll be fine.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Pete @ Train
Difficulty: 3.5/10
Strategy: Pete has a powerful weapon. You do too. His is avoidable, and
yours isn't as avoidable. So... simply keep moving and using your
missiles to defeat Pete while receiving little damage. Grab the food
from the food car IF it takes that long. Overall, it's a simple level.
Level 5: Zöe & Mr. Truffles @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: Zöe has a powerful weapon, but Mr. Truffles' weapon is less
effective here. Your can make it just fine by using your missiles,
but if you'd like, you can use a Plasma Arm. Either way, be relentless
on these two. They can't take too many hits so you'll be alright. Your
health can dwindle, so try to get to that food before they do. Try
not to let Zöe or Truffles make to an elevator (that's what homing
rockets are for!). Other than that, you'll be okay.
Level 6: Marky, Fox, & Mr. Truffles @ Tornado
Difficulty: 6/10
Strategy: Fox while often kill herself. Marky will be annoying, but
your missiles will take care of him, no problem. Truffles is your
main threat because his sniper shots can kill you if your shot
in the air. Deal with all your opponents by using your missiles.
Watch your footing, since this a moving stage. Food is not very
common so grab it when it comes, or you won't get another chance
at it for a while. Overall, this is kind of tough, but you'll be
okay.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Pector & Pete @ Volcano
Difficulty: 5.5/10
Strategy: Two opponents with decent weapons, but the stage is not
very hard. Stay around the the top left platform and use your
missiles to take them out from a distance. They will often
kill themselves in attempts to reach you. Watch out for Pete
because of his exploding arrows. Pector's fire attacks can
also be dangerous, but their short range prohibits them from
becoming a major issue. Grab food and ammo as needed and you'll
be fine.
Level 9: Mousey, Professor, & Zöe @ Train
Difficulty: 8/10
Strategy: This one is tough. Your Missiles will work well here,
but the constant fire will cause a lot of damage. Another
weapon choice may be the Plasma Arm, though it is not needed.
You need to keep moving and firing in order to be sucessful.
Be sure to raid that food car when you get the chance. Watch
out for Professor's homing shots and Zöe's Plasma shots. Mousey
will not be much of a problem and should die easily. Overall,
this tough level requires quick movements and a lot of firing.
Good luck.
Use your pistol to destroy the missiles, or use your own missiles.
Once BOSS comes, use a Plasma Or Lightning Arm for good damage.
Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your Saw Arm does not prove useful against
BOSS. You're pretty strong, so you can take a few hits, but be careful.
Upon his defeat, BOSS explodes, and you win! Congrats! I, Robot is
coming. (I never actually saw the movie >_>)
-----IVAR-----
Level 1:Unit 51 @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 2/10
Strategy: Since it's the first level, just take it easy. Avoid the lightning
attacks and eat meat. You can grab a Lightning Arm if you feel the need.
Other than that, there shouldn't be a problem here.
Level 2: Pector & Pete @ Village
Difficulty: 4/10
Strategy: Village is a level with a lot of cramped spaces, then it also has
a sniper tower. This one can be kinda tough because Pete has explosive
arrows and Fire + Cramped areas are dangerous. If you'd like, you can
use a Flame Arm, just don't burn yourself. Saw Arms are rare but VERY
useful here. Bow Arms work well. MAKE SURE you grab food, since your
opponents have strong weapons. Other than that, it's not too bad.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Fox @ Iceberg
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: THIS LEVEL IS SLIPPERY! Be careful with your footing! Other
than that, Fox isn't too hard. She's just fast. Bow Arm can take
her down fast. Your Ninja Arm works well too. Just keep running for
the food really, there's not much else. If you stand on the left
side (on the ship's mast), she doesn't seem to attack as much.
Level 5: Zöe & Truffles @ Train
Difficulty: 6.5/10
Strategy: This is a tough one. You have a weaker weapon and theirs
are pretty strong. If you want to use your Ninja Arm, use the
blade throw and hold and hurt them badly. I recomend though, a
Plasma Arm. It is powerful and deadly. You can use whatever
weapon you want, but MAKE SURE to eat! There isn't a lot of
meat until the food car so get ANY that you see REGARDLESS of
whether your health is low or not. Watch out for Truffles'
Sniper arm and don't get pummeled by Zöe's Plasma.
Level 6: Fox, Pector, & Pete @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: You're gonna want to head the left side of the stage
and get a weapon like the Bow Arm, Saw Arm, Psychic Arm, or
Lightning Arm. Gather the food on your side, because they
all tend to gather on the other side. Don't let Fox get in
your face because then it gets hectic. Watch out for Pete's
explosive arrows. Stay away from fire, since running off the
cliff is death (duh). Other than that, just eliminate them
one by one (and let them kill each other with their own
stupidity).
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: ISO-7982 & Logg @ Train
Difficulty: 7.5/10
Strategy: First off, get them close together so ISO might
blow them both up. This level is odd because ISO is in
a level other than the final one. Anyway, you NEED better
weapons. Use Lightning Arm or Psychic Arm and keep moving!
It is easy to get trapped and pummeled. Once again, grab
as much meat as you can and TRY TO KILL LOGG BEFORE THE
MEAT CAR. He is a pain to kill without regaining all his
health. As for ISO, keep hitting him, he's easier to kill
than Logg. The Multi-Combat Arm is useful here as well.
Level 9: Truffles, Mousey, & Zöe @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: This is a small level so it's easy to get pummeled.
Zöe seems to kill herself a lot, so hope she's stupid as
usual. Mousey's bullets can disrupt jumps, so be careful when
you're by the edge. Truffles will lay mines EVERYWHERE so
watch for that too. If you can, get a Frost Arm for an
EASY victory. If not, you have to do it the old fashion
way. Grab all the food and keep moving.
Your Ninja arm seems to disrupt them, so going unharmed is easy.
Once BOSS comes, use a Plasma Or Lightning Arm for good damage.
Get BOSS stuck on a platform, he sometimes gets a lot of food, so try
to provoke him to the side of the platform. If you can get this to
work, he'll sit there and use all his ammmo. Then you have clean
fire on him until more ISOs appear. Those ISOs are more of a
nuisance than a threat. Like I said, use a Plasma Arm or Lightning
Arm to drain BOSS's health. Your Ninja Arm can prove useful against
BOSS. If you do the sword hold and throw while he's stuck, you can
really drain some health. When you take down the giant robot, you
win! Yay! New Achievement! RARRRR!
-----GULLARP-----
Level 1: Zöe @ Waterfall
Difficulty: 2.5/10
Strategy: This level is easy. Just stand on the left platform and
eat the food as it falls down. Your Bow Arm works very well on
Zöe since she has low defense. Just keep shooting and eating.
You don't really need a weapon change, but a Plasma Arm works
if it tickles your fancy.
Level 2: Pete & Marky @ Bazaar
Difficulty: 4/10
Strategy: This one can get annoying because both characters have
decent weapons. Stay to the left and fire Explosive arrows at
them. Food is not very plentiful, but too rare. Eat it when it
comes. Other weapons that work well here are Psychic Arm and
the Saw Arm, though you shouldn't rely on finding them. Overall,
this one gets annoying, but it's not too hard.
Level 3: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 4: Truffles @ Moonbase
Difficulty: 4/10
Strategy: To start off, pummel him with explosive shots. His
sniper arm is slow, so he doesn't get too many shots back at
you. Watch out for his mines, he lays them everywhere. Your
Bow Arm works fine here so just keep hunting him down since
he tends to run away a lot. Should you find one, a Saw Arm
is amazing here.
Level 5: Pector & Fox @ Village
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: This one gets tough because Pector bogs you down with
fire in tight spaces while Fox runs around eating all the damn
food. Try to take out Fox before she eats eveything. Your Bow
Arm works well here, but a Saw Arm is good for the tunnel. A
Sniper Arm is a good choice for the top-right tower. Either
way, keep pummeling them and try to avoid being conered.
Level 6: Unit 51, Pector, & Pete @ Train
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: Well I'll be honest. This level sucks. Your Bow Arm just
doesn't fire fast enough for this level. Use it when you have
no other choice, but a Lightning Arm is the key here. You need
to keep moving or you'll be wasted pretty quick. A Chain Arm must
be useful as well at close range. Try to take out Unit 51 first,
since he's the hardest one. The other two will barage you with
exploding arrows and constant flames. If you make it to the food
car, DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO STOP UNIT 51 FROM EATING! He's
already tough without getting all his health back. Just keep moving
the you can beat this one.
Level 7: SHOOTING RANGE
Level 8: Mousey & Zöe @ Village
Difficulty: 5/10
Strategy: This one is more annoying than hard. They both run away a
lot and try to grab food. If eat more then they do, you'll win
since you're much stronger than both of them. Watch out for Zöe
and her Plasma Arm. You can pick a Plasma Arm of your own if you
don't feel the need to use a Bow Arm. Mousey is hardly a challenge.
He generally strikes when your health is low. Overall, this one is
not that hard.
Level 9: Marky, Fox, & ISO-7982 @ Outhouse
Difficulty: 6.5/10
Strategy: Well, This one isn't too bad if you stick to left side.
The best weapon here is the Multi-Combat Arm, if you can get one.
It's homing Missiles work wonders. Your Bow Arm though works just
fine. Shoot from a distance and you'll be okay. Make sure to grab
food as you need it. If you can get a Saw Arm, it also works well.
Marky isn't too much of a threat here and neither is Fox. ISO is
the only real danger. Take him out and the battle gets much easier.
Level 10: ISO-7982(Inf Ammount) & ISO-BOSS @ Sewer
Difficulty: 7/10
Strategy: For starters, you face to begining two ISOs. After
you beat them, ISO-BOSS comes. To beat the first two, let them
get close and fire missiles because they tend to hit each other
for high damage. Use your exploding arrows to kill them and try
to avoid any missle that does come your way. Once you kill them,
and ISO-BOSS comes, be ready. Use your exploding arrows on him,
but I highly recomend using Plasma Arm or Lightning Arm if you
can find one. If you get BOSS stuck on a platform, he sometimes
gets a lot of food, so try to provoke him to the side of the
platform. If you can get this to work, he'll sit there and use
all his ammmo. Then you have clean fire on him until more ISOs
appear. Those ISOs are more of a nuisance than a threat. Upon
his death, BOSS explodes and you win. Now you can go back to
the Jungle Book!

A: No, you can't even use the red costume that ISO-BOSS uses.
Q: How do I get the "Six Degrees of Small Arms" Achievement?
A: I cover this, but as a refresher, play someone online who
already has the achievement. How exactly they got this idea,
I don't know.
Q: What exactly is supposed to be released, content-wise?
A: New Levels and characters have been released. As for more
content? I'm not sure anymore will come.
Q: You said [Character] isn't good! I'm good with him! Why?
A: My evalutions are my own opinions. I beat the game with
each character and made my own opinions on each.
Q: How do I choose my characters color?
A: At the character select screen, use RB or LB.
Q: In my Player Stats, it says I have [number] wins. Why
didn't I get the [10,50,100] wins achievement?
A: Sorry, but this is a bad glitch If you don't get these
wins in Mission Mode, you just NEVER earn the achievement.
I got screwed over on my 100th so it happens to everyone.
Q: How am I supposed to get 50 kills in Challenge Mode?
A: I have my strategy posted in the Basics section, but
in a nutshell, use Tyrone's Frost Cloud. It works like
a charm.
Q: Before mission mode, it says "uncover the history of Small Arms,"
but I never see anything that reveals story. Am I missing something?
A: No, there doesn't seem to be any real story in this game other than
the short explanation they give the options menu.
Q: Is it ok if I post your guide on my site?
A: No, this guide is only for GameFAQs and any site directly
associated with it.
Q: In [Section], you spelled a word wrong. Why?
A: I'm sorry. I'm only human. I make mistakes. PLEASE don't send me
emails about spelling unless it also contains useful info or
questions.

around those lines. Also, PLEASE use good spelling and grammar. I refuse
to read anything that is not in decent grammar and spelling. And one more
thing, Make all your text black or blue, not a different color each letter.
