Allowed websites: GameFAQs.com neoseeker.com Reason for this guide A tomikichi is a sword bearer with a mushroom hat. Killing 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and all 50 are achievements. Also, killing the one tomikichi in each level (50 total) is required in order to unlock the hotdog sheath, the Lion faces (male), the Dog Ear faces (female), the Dog Feet hakama (female), the Fox Ears accessory, and the Fox Tail accessory. Also, they all drop items. These are not always good things. Sometimes it’s a Grenade or Smoke, so be careful. Sometimes it’s a Stink or Fireworks which will automatically activate and alert any nearby enemies or civilians, so be aware of your surroundings. And other times it will be an egg that cracks when it hits the ground, so be prepared to be disappointed. Please note: A reference to the "main building" means the biggest building in the stage, not necessarily where the mission target is. The tomikichi is right around that corner. He drops a Shuriken (throwing star). (m02)Mission 2: Before the Wind Blows Run to the left and around the corner. Continue up the hill and follow the wall as it turns to the right. At the wall’s next right turn, be careful because he’s about 20 feet away next to some wooden barrels. He drops a Shuriken. (Note: Remember this location, because it will be referred to in other missions) (m03)Mission 3: Recover the Bombs If you go across the bridge in this stage, you will find the tomikichi on your immediate left patrolling along the wall. If instead you run along the left side of the city, after crossing the water you will find him on your right, up the slope, and after the tall grass patrolling the same aforementioned wall. He drops a rice ball. (m04)Mission 4: Gather Information The first part of the village is a grouping of five buildings. Behind the biggest building, there is a raised piece of land with a tripwire and an archer on patrol. At the bottom of the hill on the left side of this is where the tomikichi stands awaiting his doom. He drops an egg that cracks open when it hits the ground, so you cannot claim it. (m05)Mission 5: Cross the Bridge This guy is down by the river to the right of the bridge. He drops some kind of energy increasing item that looks like a stomach. (m06)Mission 6: Punish the Greedy Merchant The mine levels are probably the hardest to describe locations for anything. At the end of this level is a building. To the right of the building is a wall in the shape of an upside-down "T". You will find the tomikichi on the right side of this wall. He drops a Healing (health potion). (m07)Mission 7: Steal the Matchlock Gun Designs From the starting point, go up the stairs and to the right. When you near the wall’s left turn, slow down. You will find Mr. Mushroom Hat patrolling this long piece of wall. He drops a Blinding powder. (m08)Mission 8: Stray Dog Slaying Don’t go into the gate. Go to the left instead. Stop when the wall turns left and look. You will see him way down at the corner. He drops a Paralyze. (m09)Mission 9: Eliminate the Gangsters In the exact opposite corner of the map from where you start is where you’ll find this one. He drops a Purifying. (m10)Mission 10: Kill the Shameful Monk You start at a different point for this temple mission then you did for Mission 8 (Stray Dog Slaying), but the tomikichi is patrolling the exact same area. To get to him fastest, run diagonally across the rooftop you start on, jump to the roof of the next small building, then to the wall behind it, then drop down and have fun. He drops an activated Smoke. (m11)Mission 11: Break through the Checkpoint You can’t miss this one. He’s directly in front of you at the start of the stage. Watch out for the guy on your left as you kill him. He drops an activated Stink. (m12)Mission 12: Punish the Corrupt Official The tomikichi is in the northwest corner of the map, behind and to the right of the main building, just inside the wall. He’ll drop a rice ball. (m13)Mission 13: Steal the Ronin List In the middle section of this map is a room that a civilian lady patrols around. You’ll find this stage’s tomikichi inside that room. He drops a Smoke. (m14)Mission 14: Punish the Evil Merchant This guy is patrolling behind the main building. A disappointing, no good egg is your reward. (m15)Mission 15: Infiltrate the Inner Mansion To the left (or west, if you’re looking at the map) of the main building is a building with three doors. Mr. Tomi is behind door number three and he drops a nice Disguise scroll. (Note: Remember this location, because it will be referenced in other missions) (m16)Mission 16: Pursuit of Echigoya You will find this stage’s tomikichi patrolling around the building in the northeast corner of the map. He drops a Vanishing scroll. (m17)Mission 17: Daylight Battle on Deck There are four brick buildings in a 2 by 2 square formation just before the mansion. This stage’s tomikichi is patrolling the northern most alley. He drops a Bone. (m18)Mission 18: Purge the Foreigners You’ll find this guy patrolling behind the church (the big building on the left with a bell tower on top). He gives up a Paralyze. (m19)Mission 19: Kill the Unworthy Monk Head to the right. Just before the end of the wall, you’ll see a building next to the wall but on the other side of the wall. Jump on this building and look on the ground on the opposite side of the house as the wall is and you will see the stage’s Tomi-boy walking right here. Killing him yields a Purifying. (m20)Mission 20: The Silencer* He’s over by a wooden barrel. If you cross the bridge, bang a left at the tower and you’ll see him about 50 feet in front of you. If you’d prefer to cross the water near the fields, you’ll find him between the first and second buildings on your right. Go up the incline and slice him up. He’ll give your dog a Bone. (m21)Mission 21: Recover the Secret Documents He’s patrolling the backside of the main building of the brothel. After killing him, you receive a Paralyze. (m22)Mission 22: The Rescue He walks down the alley between the building and the wall right in front of your starting position. He drops a Paralysis Cake. (Note: This item is improperly named because it doesn’t really paralyze your opponent; it poisons him/her when they eat it) (m23)Mission 23: Recover the Secret Teachings On the west side of the main building on the outside of the wall is where this stage’s Tomikichi is patrolling. He drops a Stink. (m24)Mission 24: Expose the False Landlady Go to the center of the restaurant (according the map). You’ll find the tomikichi in this general area. Sometimes he’ll walk to the room with three guys dancing and clapping. So if you time it right, you can get a four kill streak beginning with the tomikichi. This guy will drop a Decoy. (m25)Mission 25: Assassination of Vassal Go forward until you get to the broken section of the wall on your left. Jump up on the wall and you will find your target on the other side of the tree. He’ll give his killer a Shadows scroll. (m26)Mission 26: Wind on a Moonlit Night After crossing the bridge, head to the right along the wall. You find the tomikichi patrolling along the wall after the left turn. Watch out for the tripwire. He drops an egg. (m27)Mission 27: Contorted Night Go forward. Jump up on raised ground and follow the wall until it turns left. The tomikichi patrols around this corner. Your reward is a Paralysis Cake. (m28)Mission 28: Kill the Ninja Master On the left of the main building (northeast corner of the map) you will find him patrolling in the tall grass. Watch out for the dropped Smoke. (m29)Mission 29: Kill the Greed Merchant Get on top of the fence in front of you. Hop over to the building and run to the left. You’ll find him on the ground at the end of that building. He drops a Stink. (m30)Mission 30: Recover the Bombs You’ll find this guy in the center of the map patrolling around a small court yard in between the church and the bridge. He drops a Paralyze. (m31)Mission 31: Kill the Thieves Straight ahead about 100 yards is where you’ll find the tomikichi. He gives up an egg. (m32)Mission 32: Save the Captive Agent On the eastern most side of the cave is a small wooden bridge (for lack of a better term). The tomikichi patrols in the cave near the north end this "bridge". When killed, he gives up a Bone. (m33)Mission 33: Information Gathering From the starting point, go to the left. Hop up on the raised land and you’ll find the Tomi-knocker on the other side of this wall. Once killed, this guy gives you a Dragon scroll. (m34)Mission 34: Kill the Agent Go to the location of the tomikichi in mission 2. You’ll find this mission’s tomikichi on the other side of the wall. He drops the energy giving, stomach looking thing that the tomikichi from mission 5 dropped. (m35)Mission 35: Punish the Extremist Follow the wall to left. If you’re fast enough, you’ll see the tomikichi walk in the wall’s opening and turn around. After you kill him, you’ll get a Purifying. (m36)Mission 36: Stealer from the Shadows At about the middle of the map is a building shaped like an upside-down "L". This stage’s tomikichi finds comfort inside the right angle of this building. He drops an armed Grenade. (m37)Mission 37: Dead Calm at Dusk Head right from the starting point and go past the opening. The tomikichi patrols the outside corner of the wall up ahead. Once you drop him, he’ll drop a Bone. (m38)Mission 38: Wipe Out the Enemy* Go forward through the city. You’ll find the tomikichi between the fourth and fifth buildings on your left. Killing him yields a Disguise scroll. (m39)Mission 39: Break Through the Checkpoint Quickly go to the right and kill the enemy when he is searching the grass. Then grab the ledge in front of you. The tomikichi will notice the dead body and come running right close enough to the ledge for you to get an easy grab kill. He’ll then drop a Vanishing scroll. (m40)Mission 40: Infiltrate the Inner Mansion Remember the building the tomikichi was in in mission 15? This missions tomikichi is in the same building, different door. Go the middle one this time. Have any need for this guy’s Shadows scroll? (m41)Mission 41: Find the Secret Documents After crossing the bridge you start on, hop on the wall to your left. Then hop to the small shed in front of you. You’ll see the tomikichi patrolling the alley behind the fermentation building. His dead carcass gives you a Decoy. (m42)Mission 42: Wipe Out the Enemy* Jump down to the river. You’ll see the tomikichi on the other side of the flowing water. This guy drops a Fireworks. (m43)Mission 43: Punish the Corrupt Administration Run along the wall from where you start. All the way at the end, follow it’s right turn. About half way down, hop on the wall and you’ll see the tomikichi in this little alley searching the grass. He drops a Healing. (m44)Mission 44: Assassination of Vassal Run to the right and follow the wall. When the wall turns left, continue following the wall. About three quarters of the way down this alley, hop onto the wall you’ve been following. You’ll see your target patrolling this alley. He drops a Dragon scroll. (m45)Mission 45: Requiem for Fireflies Go left and follow the wall on the outside of the city. You come upon the tomikichi near the big gate doors. He drops a Dragon scroll. (m46)Mission 46: Merciless Destruction* He’s patrolling up and down the slope that leads to the main building in the mine. His death yields a Decoy whistle. (m47)Mission 47: Hammer of Judgment You start this mission looking at the location of the tomikichi in Mission 2. Run forward and hop onto the wall. You’ll see him standing behind the bathroom house, apparently enjoying the evening odors. After killing him, you will be rewarded with a Disguise scroll. (m48)Mission 48: Purging Flames* You’ll find this tomikichi between the two small building furthest to the north. His corpse will give up a Vanishing scroll. (m49)Mission 49: Twilight Duel From the starting point, head to the right. Hop up on the raised land. You’ll see a dog in the field and your tomikichi on the other side patrolling along the base of the cliff. He drops a Shadows scroll. (m50)Mission 50: Divine Punishment - Tenchu You’ll find him patrolling the ground on the north side of the castle. This final tomikichi gives you a Bone to play with.
