I began writing this mainly for my own use, but after noticing the same questions popping up again and again I figured I may as well post it. It has two main purposes. The first being to describe all of the achievements since a good portion of them are secret achievements. The second being describing a way to unlock all of the achievements in the most convenient way possible. Meaning, as few play-throughs as possible. Infact, you only need to play one full playthrough. You will, however, have to replay the last four campaign missions. I hope that at least some of you find it useful. ______________________________________________________________________________ II. Select Finish as quick as you can when their turn comes around. If you think someone is in range, fire. If not, don't worry, the NPCs will do all the work pretty fast. Africa Star (45 Points) Complete a mission after obtaining the Muramasa Blade, Dragon Slayer and Excalibur The Muramasa Blade will be on a random Magier corpse in Mission 11. The Dragon Slayer will be on a random Magier corpse in Mission 20. Excalibur will be on a random Vampire corpse in Mission 25. Soldier's Medal (65 Points) Gathered all 12 pages of the Valhalla Report V. Order 1 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 13. V. Order 2 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 14. V. Order 3 will be on a random Magier corpse in Mission 15. V. Order 4 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 16. V. Order 5 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 17. V. Order 6 will be on a random Panzer Demon corpse in Mission 18. V. Order 7 will be on a random Vampire corpse in Mission 19. V. Order 8 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 20. V. Order 9 will be on a random Vampire corpse in Mission 21. V. Order 10 will be on a random Schutze corpse in Mission 22. V. Order 11 will be on a random Magier corpse in Mission 23. V. Order 12 will be on a random Magier corpse in Mission 24. Silver Star (70 Points) Completed all 27 Campaign Missions Distinguished Service Cross (80 Points) Completed all 15 Armored Recon missions Military Cross (90 Points) Finish all 20 Eagle's Nest missions Medal of Honor (95 Points) Finish Campaign Mission 27 with all of the Armored Recon and Eagle's Nest missions clear Victoria Cross (100 Points) Finish Campaign Missions 01-27 within 35 hours ______________________________________________________________________________ III.) Achievement Guide (#GUIDE) In this section I will list the achievements in the order that you should obtain them, as well as tips on obtaining each one. Keep in mind that the order may be able to be different than the one that I list. This is just the order that I believe to be most efficient. Achievements that can be done at any time will be listed at the end. CAMPAIGN 01 and PURPLE HEART can be obtained right after you complete the first Campaign Mission. Simply complete the first mission in 14 minutes or less and you'll grab both, totalling 55 Points. CAMPAIGN 02-04, CAMPAIGN 05-07 and CAMPAIGN 08-10 come next. Do nothing other than these main campaign missions (do not play any Armed Recon Missions), as we are trying to keep your total playtime down low for the Victoria Cross achievement. There are no other achievements that can be obtained during these missions. Next up is CAMPAIGN 11-13. In Mission 11 you'll be able to gain 1/3 of the AFRICA STAR achievement. Africa Star involves collecting three swords throughout the course of the game. In Mission 11 check the corpses of all Magier. The Muramasa Blade will be on one of them. Unfortunately, the Magier carrying it will be random for each playthrough. But, if you start a mission, find it, then fail - the same Magier will be holding it when you attempt it again. This goes for all collectable items. Mission 12 can be played through without worry as there is nothing to collect in it. Mission 13, however, begins the hunt for Valhalla Orders. From Mission 13 through Mission 24 you will have to collect Valhalla Orders off of enemy corpses. There are twelve total, with one being in each of the 12 missions. The one in Mission 13 will be on the corpse of a random Schutze. On to CAMPAIGN 14-16. You can play through these missions only worrying about grabbing the Valhalla Orders in each mission. In Mission 14 it will be on a random Schutze corpse. In Mission 15 it will be on a random Magier corpse. In Mission 16 it will be on a random Schutze corpse. Now you're 4/12 on SOLDIER'S MEDAL. Next is CAMPAIGN 17-19. Again, you can play through these only worrying about the Valhalla Orders. In Mission 17 it will be on a random Schutze corpse. In Mission 18 it will be on a random Panzer Demon corpse. In Mission 19 it will be on a random Vampire corpse. 7/12 on SOLDIER'S MEDAL. Up comes CAMPAIGN 20-22. Finally, something to worry about other than Valhalla Orders. In Mission 20 the Valhalla Order will be on the corpse of a random Schutze. In Mission 21 the Valhalla Order will be on the corpse of a random Vampire. Now, in Mission 21 there is also the opportunity to grab the Dragon Slayer sword. It will be on the \corpse of a random Magier. In Mission 22 the Valhalla Order will be on the corpse of a random Schutze. Now you're 2/3 on AFRICA STAR and 10/12 on SOLDIER'S MEDAL. Now the tricky part - CAMPAIGN 23-25. You will want to grab the Valhalla Order of the corpse of a random Magier in Mission 23. After Mission 23, however, you WILL WANT TO MAKE A BACKUP SAVE. It is important that you keep this save and do not overwrite it. I would recommend using save slot 10. We'll be coming back to this save later. The reasoning? After Mission 24 the Armed Recon missions become locked and unavailable. Since you get and achievement for finishing the game with all of the AR missions done, however, you'll want to come back and do them. But, since we're on a time limit of 35 hours for the Victoria Cross achievement we will be skipping them on this playthrough. Continue on to Mission 24 and grab the Valhalla Order off of a random Magier Corpse. Congratulations, you've finished SOLDIER'S MEDAL! In Mission 25 you can collect the Excalibur off of the corpse of a random vampire. Congratulations again, you've finished AFRICA STAR! Last of the story achievements, CAMPAIGN 26-27. You don't have to worry about collecting any items. Just plow through them as quick as possible. Once you finish the game you should also recieve SILVER STAR (for completing missions 01-27) and VICTORIA CROSS (for finishing the game in under 35 hours). Now that you've finished the game you should be at 515/1000 total Gamerpoints. Normally, you would have to start a second playthrough the get the rest of the achievements. But, we backed up our save right after Mission 23, remember? Simply reload that save. After it's reloaded, go through and complete all of the AR missions. The AR Missions can be unlocked in one of two ways. You should have a few unlocked simply by completing the Campaign missions. The rest of them will be unlocked by completing other AR Missions. Once you finish them all, you can pat yourself on the back for completing the DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS achievement! You will also have recieved ARMED RECON 01-03, ARMED RECON 04-06, ARMED RECON 07-09, ARMED RECON 10-12 and ARMED RECON 13-15. After that, go ahead and move on to Mission 24. Now, remember, we DO have to recollect the last Valhalla Order from the corpse of a random Magier. This is a different save, and we need the last order to unlock Eagle's Nest. Continue the campaign through Mission 26. After completing Mission 26 again you will be able to access Eagle's Nest. And, since we aren't on a time limit - dive right in! There will be 20 missions total. Along the way you will earn EAGLE'S NEST 01-05, EAGLE'S NEST 06-10, EAGLE'S NEST 11-15 and EAGLE'S NEST 16-20. Once they are all complete you will also recieve MILITARY CROSS. What next? Go ahead and finish Mission 27. Now that you're completing the game with all of the AR and Eagle's Nest missions finished, you'll get MEDAL OF HONOR. Now, if you've followed this guide step by step you'll have 980/1000 Points. You didn't play multiple playthroughs, but you did have to repeat the last 4 missions. What's left? You're only missing the WAR MEDAL achievement. Simply play an online match and it'll unlock and bring your total to 1000/1000.
