In addition to the volleyball, casino, pool, and gift exchange from the first game, they added a lot of new activities for the sequel. They also made several of the activities from the first game harder. Some of the items are a bitch to get, while the gift exchange has become a lot easier. Also by way of a glitch in the game, getting money and getting all the costumes from all user has become a snap. A little time consuming at times, but this glitch helps in the long run. I would go as to say that getting a complete collection would normally take 200 hours easily. With this glitch you can get the achievement in 30-40 hours. I would also like to point out that this is going to be my first complete FAQ ever made. I started to make one for Kingdom Hearts 1 but gave up, do to other commitments. So if this FAQ isn't to your liking, I am sorry. I am doing the the best I can. For the first couple of versions, I will try to get some of the most asked about questions, just so they are out of the way. That includes the achievements, list of items, Love/Like Items, swimsuits, the gamertag signout exploit and a few of the unlockable items. Game Overview [0200] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DOAX2 is the sequel to the 2003's Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball. Chronologically, this game takes place sometime after Dead or Alive 4. For some back-story, in the DOAXBV, Zack used the winnings from Dead or Alive 3 to go to Las Vegas. He won so much money that he bought his own island which he called "Zack Island." This is where we are first introduced to Zack's girlfriend Niki. The girls of Dead or Alive 3 were tricked into coming to Zack Island, thinking Dead or Alive 4 was taking place there. Once they find out it is a trick, they decide to have a two week vacation on Zack Island. However after two weeks, the volcano that was on the island became active and sunk the island. At the beginning of DOAX2, we are shown Niki and Zack in a submarine locating the lost island of "Zack Island." They locate the island and use Zack's contacts with extraterrestrials; think of Zack's alternative costumes from Dead or Alive 2, Ultimate, 3, and 4; to raise the island from the bottom of the sea. Once again Zack has tricked the girls of Dead or Alive 4 to come to his island. But this time they are not as easily fooled, but come none-the-less. The game has some differences from the first game, and a lot of similarities. First and foremost the game has a major graphical improvement from the first game. This is mainly from the fact that it is running on the XBOX 360. The graphic engine is a modified engine from Dead or Alive 4, so you know it will blow you away. Since the island from the first game is reused for the second game, a lot of the locals are back, some with more diversity such as shrubbery and trees. Volleyball is back, but this time Team Ninja has made some adjustments to the game, making it a bit harder. New activities have been added to DOAX2, such as Marine Racing, Waterslide, Butt Battle, and Tug-Of-War. The Casino is also back with more helpful hints on what each girls likes and dislikes. Zack-Of-All-Trades is back, now with a bit different selection than last time. Also back are many of the accessories, and of course the swimsuits. Several of the suits are back, such as the Venus, but there are quite a few new suits for each of the girls. Before, the girls got tanned throughout the vacation; unless you use Sunscreen or Sun Tan Lotion. That feature has returned but this time with a new twist. We now have un tan lines. The game shows any tan lines from the swimsuits the girls wear. For example, say one of the girl's wore Hitomi's Andromeda, which is a one-piece. Then later the girl wears the Venus, which is a skimpy two-piece outfit, the girl will show an outline of the Andromeda while wearing the Venus. The tan line feature only lasts for two tan lines. Next we have dual language functionality. Unlike the first game which featured Dennis Rodman as the voice of Zack; only during the cut scenes; and having all the DOA girls with their Japanese voices, DOAX2 now features the ability to have all the characters voiced in either Japanese or English. With the English voices, Techno has tried to get most of the accents correct. So Tina now sounds like she is from Texas, Helena has a French maid accent, and Christie has an English accent. Finally, the most talked about feature of DOAX2, the individual boob bouncing. You heard right. The boobs of the Dead or Alive girls are bouncier than ever before, with each boob having its own physics attached to it. So it is not surprising to see the boobs go in opposite direction. New Zack Island [0300] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zack Island is composed of ten main places of interests, three hotels, and a casino. The game runs off of a four sections a day system: Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Night. Most of the places are open during the Morning, Daytime, and Evening sessions. The hotels and the casino are the only two places available during the Night session. Accessories Store [0301] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you buy accessories and makeup for the girls. The store is split between accessories and makeup. The accessories has a rotating stock that changes every session, while the makeup is all available during all sessions. Either section, you can buy multiple number of each item so you can buy up multiple copies of accessories that will wish to give to the girls. Sports Shop [0302] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you can buy swimsuits, Watercrafts, and sundries. In the first part, you can buy swimsuits for your girls. Each girl has their own swimsuits that only they can buy. So you cannot buy a Kasumi outfit while playing as Hitomi. The inventory changes for each session of the day, but you can buy multiple copies of each swimsuit. In the next section, you can buy Watercrafts for Marine Racing. The inventory also changes for each session. However, once you buy a Watercraft, it cannot be bought again, no matter how many vacations you go on to play. You can view which Watercrafts you have bought by going to the Marine Racing area. In the sundries, you can buy access to other activities, besides the initial volleyball, Marine Racing, and pool hopping. Also you can buy a state-of-the-art camera, film for your cameras, and volleyballs. The volleyballs rotate for each session. However, once you buy a volleyball you cannot repurchase the same volleyball for the rest of the current vacation. For example, if you purchased a yellow volleyball, you cannot purchase another yellow volleyball until you start a new vacation. Zack-Of-All-Trades [0302] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you can buy miscellaneous items. You use these items to give to partners to help with their appeal to you. The more appeal to you the better they are at helping you out and giving you gifts. The stock rotates every session like all the other stores. However, like the volleyballs, if you buy an item, you cannot repurchase another of the same item again in the same vacation. Also, there are items with very short life span. Food and drink items tend to go bad after two sessions. For example, if you buy an apple in the Morning, it will go bad at the beginning of the Evening session. Pool Side [0303] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you can sit back, relax and pass the time away. The only two options here, besides meeting other girls is to rest or change outfits; if you have any extras in your immediate collection. Unlike the first game, you do not have immediate control over the camera. But you can change to a different set camera angle by right analog stick. Pool [0304] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here you can challenge other girls to pool games. The game initially allows you to play Pool Hopping, but you can get access to others by buying them from the Sports Shop. The two extra pool activities you can play are Butt Battle and Tug-of-War. Radio Station [0305] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here you can tell what songs you can play during each session. If you have downloaded any songs to the hard drive, or have set up a play list using Media Connector/Center, then you can also play those songs as well. Here is a listing of all playable songs that are found in the game: "Summer Breezin" by Diana King "How Crazy Are You" by Meja "Double Lovin" by Baha Men featuring Reiss "Sweet Sixteen" by Hilary Duff "Quiero Que Me Quieras" by Olga Tanon "Like That Girl" by Fatty Koo "Holla" by Baha men "Is This Love" by Bob Marley "Lovin' You" by Janet Kay "Brazilian Sugar" by George Duke "Dreamin" by Sweet Female Attitude "Flower ( Cutfather & Joe Mix )" by Sweet Female Attitude "Nothing To Lose" by Sweet Female Attitude "Reggae Dancer" by Inner Circle "Another Love Story" by Play "Sweet Sensual Love" by Big Mountain "The Kids Don't Like It" by Reel Big Fish "If It Don't Fit" by B*Witched Volleyball Courts [0306] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am grouping these together because these are basically the same thing but just different settings for each. Three of the four courts are available during the Morning, Daytime, and Evening sets, while Bass Island is only available during the Daytime. The reason for this is because only during the Daytime is when the tide is low enough that you can travel to the island. Not only can you play volleyball on each but you can also rest or even play Beach Flag with another girl in these sections, as well as resting and, if your relationship with a girl is high enough, become friendly (not exactly what you think, but basically bonding more). Niki Beach - A beautiful beach named after Zack's girlfriend that exemplifies the beauty of the island. Located on the south side of the island. Tranquil Beach - A private beach tucked away in the north side of New Zack Island. Few people come here, making it a perfect place to enjoy a quiet vacation. Brilliant Jungle - A jungle found in the middle of the island. Recommended for those who wish to avoid the hot rays on the beaches and not worry about tanning or burning. This is basically where you will find the water slide at when you acquired the ability to do this activity. Bass Island - A tiny island found to the southwest of New Zack Island, it is buried under the sea whenever the tide comes in. Those who wish to take part in activities on Bass Island should come during the Daytime, else they will start snorkeling. Niki Marina [0307] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you take part in the Marina Racing courses. Not much else you can do here besides giving gifts to other girls. Hotels [0308] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Similar to the Volleyball Courts, you are given the option of three different hotels to stay at during your vacation on the first night. The main reason for this is that each girl has a preference on what hotel they stay at. I will get to who likes what in the gift giving portion of the FAQ, but for now I will list what each hotel are like. Gemstone Suite - A high-class resort that boasts the largest rooms on New Zack Island. Tasteful room decorations and furniture make this hotel the perfect place for someone to spend an elegant vacation. - Refined rooms with a basic white décor - Let the day's tiredness drain away in a comfortable spacious bed. - Enjoy the world's finest teas in a relaxed laid-back environment. - Top-notch room service - A large mirror that's sure to make any woman happy Seabreeze Cottage - An adorable water-top cottage found in the eastern part of New Zack Island. Part of the floor is made out of glass so you can see the fish swimming in the ocean. - The warmth and relaxation of wooden décor - A wide open terrace lets you dive straight into the ocean. - A canopy-equipped bed gives off a south Asian feel Moonlight Reef - A hotel on Bass Island with all its rooms overlooking the ocean. Popular among female visitors for its adorable rooms. - Ceiling fans bring you a south Asian wind - An aquarium in every room - A blue interior scheme is the base for every room's design Casino [0309] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where you will be making a bulk of the money you get during your vacation. The casino allows you to play roulette, slots, blackjack, and five-card poker. The only way to access the casino is by going to the hotel and choosing the first option "Go To Casino". Since you need to be in the hotel in order to access the casino, the casino is only available during the Night session. Activities [0400] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now for the meat of the FAQ, the activities. The main difference between the first game and the second is that you are given a lot more things to do in the second game over the first. The first game was dedicated almost entirely on the Volleyball portion of the game (hence the title of the game). But here you are given Marina Racing (think Wave Racer), Butt Battle, Tug-Of-War, Pool Hopping, Waterslide, and Flag Racing. Volleyball [0401] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Volleyball has the highest steady payout of all the mini-games in the game. The object is to force the opponents to "drop" the volleyball. The rules follow that of official two-per-team beach volleyball. To win a game, the first team to score seven points, with a two round lead, wins. However, if both teams score six points each, the first team to have a two point lead wins. But if both teams tie with nine points each, the first team to score the tenth point wins. Also included is that each side is allowed to "touch" the ball up to three times per side. Generally this means: 1) Receive the ball 2) Set Up the ball 3) Spike/tap ball to other side. To receive a ball, you press the "B" button. This button is also used to pass a ball to your partner. When your partner sets up a ball, you have the option to spike the ball; the "A" button; or tap the ball over; the "B" button. When you have the ball at the beginning of a round, you need to serve the ball. There are three different ways of serving. 1) Underhand - Press the left analog stick left and the "A" button, then press the "A" button again once the girl's arm is all the way extended back. This way will always get the ball over the net. However, there are no special bonuses given. 2) Overhand - Press just the "A" button and when the ball hits its highest, press the "A" button again to send the ball over the net. This is considered a normal server. If your partner says "Nice Serve", you get bonus points. 3) Power Serve - Press the left analog stick right and the "A" button, then press the "A" button again the moment you see the ball appear from the top of the screen. This has a chance of hitting the net if you press the "A" button too late. However if timed correctly, the ball travels to the other side at an extremely fast pace. If your partner says "Nice Server", you get bonus points. Once at the net there are several options you can have. If the opponent is at the net, and you are up to send the ball to the other side, there are two options you have. The first is if the opponent goes up for the block, it is recommended to tap the "B" button to tap the ball over the opponent and send the ball just behind her. This will force the opponent's partner to dive for the ball, and force the ball back over the net; which is done by pressing the "A" button when done on your side of the net. The other option is if the opponent does not go for the block, you should go for the spike, by pressing the "A" button when you are at the top of your jump. You can direct which way you want to direct the ball by pressing the direction with the left analog stick. Press "Up" to send the ball to girls' left, press "Down" to send to the girls' right. If you want to send the ball closer to the net, hit the "Back" button. To block a ball that is heading towards you, you press the "A" button right before the opponent goes up for the spike. Passing the ball is done by pressing the "B" button. Generally, just pressing the "B" button does the job, but if you want a speed pass, you press "Forward" and the "B" button. You can set up the ball for a spike in a direction by pressing either the "Up," "Back," and "Down" buttons and the "B" button. In practice, these are a lot harder to do, and you probably won't use it once. However it's good to know. On that note, you can move where your partner is positioned. By using the right analog stick, you can move your partner. By hitting the "Back" button, you send your partner into the backfield. Conversely, you can send your partner to the net by pressing the Forward" button. To send the partner to midfield, you press in the right analog stick. While playing volleyball, the best advice I can give is to always send your partner to the net, and you stay about three-to-four paces from the net. Whenever the opponent goes to the near side of the net to spike, stay in the middle of midfield to the near side of the field. Conversely, do the same when the opponent is in the far side. The reason is that the girls tend to spike in this area and you are close enough to the net to catch any tapped balls. This strategy has helped me get an 80 - 85% winning record. There are two problems that are known in the volleyball game, that have yet to be fixed. The first is actually more of a glitch than a problem, that might discourage some people. When the ball gets sent to the far side of the opponent's side, and the ball is about to be passes back for a spike, the camera moves too quickly back that both the opponent who goes to receive the ball the ball disappear, and the opponent's partner goes into an infinite spiking motion. The only way to cancel out is to press the "Start" button and select "Give Up." This quits the current game and goes to the next session. The other problem is if someone is in the backfield when they receives the ball, and they perform a speed pass. The ball will land too low for the partner to set up the spike, that the spiker does not get the ball and the ball falls to the ground. This is more common for the computer opponents to do, but it can happen to the players characters. One warning. If you start to have a winning streak within the game, and you get a four point lead, the computer AI seems to start to kick it up a notch and start playing better. This is extremely prevalent if you start out with a 4-0 lead. Awarding for volleyball are as followed: Game Score Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch 7-0 240,000 510,000 7-1 170,000 380,000 7-2 150,000 350,000 7-3 130,000 320,000 7-4 110,000 290,000 7-5 90,000 260,000 8-6 -> 10-9 70,000 230,000 Lose 0 0 Other "Nice" Jump "Serve" 2,000 10,000 "Nice" Overhead "Serve" 1,000 10,000 "Nice Spike" 1,000 10,000 Knock Over Opponent 1,000 5,000 Marine Race [0402] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the biggest addition to the game. Plain and simple, this is a racing game, on jet skis. The object is to stay within the buoys as possible, while traversing the course in the fastest time. There are two types of buoys in the game: red and yellow. To register you passed a buoy, you stay to right side when passing the red buoys, and you stay to the left side when passing the yellow buoy. Every time you successfully pass a buoy, you get a bonus. If you pass a yellow buoy and then a red buoy, or visa-versa, you build up a 1/8th of a turbo boost. If you don't miss a single buoy and pass eight consecutive combinations of red then yellow, or visa-versa, you earn a turbo boost. To activate a turbo boost, you press the Right Bumper (it's located over the right trigger [think of it as the R1 button]) Just winning and using turbo boosts is not the only way to get money in Marine Racing. If you press "Up", "Down", "Left", or "Right" on the D-Pad and the "X" button, you perform a trick. Pressing "Up" and the "X" button performs a forward flip onto the handle. "Down" and the "X" button has the girl spin while driving the jet ski. Hold "Left" or "Right" while pressing the "X" button has the girl perform a belly spin over the handle of the jet ski. If you JUST press the "X" button without pressing any direction, you perform a Gravure move. Generally this is either having the girl wiggle her butt or have the girl wave at an unknown person. When it comes to ramps, they give extra bonus's by just going over them. However you get extra bonus's for doing tricks while going over them. If you hold the "Down" button while going over the ramp, you perform a "Back Flip." While on the ramp, if you press either "Left then Right" or "Right then Left", you perform a "Barrel Roll." You score extra points if you hit the turbo button before going on the ramp and doing the tricks. The only problem with the turbo is that it might shoot you into out-of-bounds territory. Also note, that going on a ramp actually slows you down than it does to stay on the water. When it comes to Out-of-Bounds, you are given five seconds to get back onto the course. If you do not make it back into the course within the five seconds are up, you become disqualified. Out-of-Bounds are those tiny yellow balls. If you are Out-of-Bounds for more than two seconds, you lose any turbo you have accumulated, to be cautious about those. If you finish a lap in first place, you get a bonus if you go through the flag gate. The only exception to this is the first lap of the Beginners Race. Now there are about 10 courses altogether in the game. You don't unlock any of them unless you are constantly playing Marine Racing throughout the entire vacation. First 6 races - Beginners race Races 7 - 15 - three intermediate levels Races 16 - 30 - three expert levels Races 31 - 42 - three master levels Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Buoy 100 2,000 Trick 150 1,000 Off Ramp 500 5,000 Flip 1,000 7,000 Spin 2,000 10,000 Boost Flip 3,000 20,000 Boost Spin 4,000 30,000 Pool-Hoping [0403] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pool hopping is one of the returning games from the first game and comes default open once you start a new vacation with any of the girls of the girls. The object of the game is to hop from one buoy to the next and get across the pool without jumping into the water. TO jump from one buoy to the next, you just press any of the colored buttons. This means you can press "A," "B," "X," or "Y" to jump. For long jumps; jump over a whole or skip over a single buoy; you hold down the color button. For short, single, hops, you lightly tap the color button. Given that the courses vary in sizes, there is no definitive set winnings. In addition, each of the buoys are color coded to the face buttons. If you press the color button of the color buoy you are about to jump to, you score a color hop bonus. If you press the next button right when the girl lands on the buoy, you score a perfect bonus. It does take practice, buy if no other girls is at the pool, and you do not have a partner at the time, you can practice as much as you want during that session. Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Color Hop 1,000 2,000 Perfect Hop 500 1,000 Lose 0 0 Butt Battle [0404] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is one of the two new pool mini-games within the game. In order to obtain this, and any of the new mini-games, you must buy the ticket to play the game. Tickets can be bought in the Sports Shop. Once bought you can play this game, and any of the bought tickets at anytime on any vacation for that girl. Each girl needs to buy their own ticket. The object of the game is to "Bump" your opponent into the water by-way-of their butts. There is not much strategy put into this game, and most of what you are given is by chance. The main controls are done by the left analog stick. Pressing Forward" does a short bump, while pressing "Back" then Forward" performs a power bump. The problem with the later is that due to the timing of the power bump, you are open to being bumped yourself. You can try to side step an opponent's bump by pressing "Up" or "Down", though the timing takes a lot of practice. The first person to three wins, wins the game. Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Victory Bonus 20,000 100,000 Perfect Bonus Lose 0 0 Tug-of-War [0405] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like Butt Battle, this is a pool game of chance. The object is to have your opponent fall into the water. The best description is that it is a "Hand Slapping" game, but with a rope instead of hands. The two main options is to "Fake Out" the opponent by pressing Forward" on the left analog stick, or to pull, by pressing "Back" on the left analog stick. Now if you fake out while your opponent pulls, you will start to lose balance. The only way to catch yourself is to repeated press the "A" button. If the opponent pulls again, you will fall into the water and lose the round. The first person to three wins, wins the game. Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Victory Bonus 20,000 100,000 Perfect Bonus Lose 0 0 Flag Racing [0406] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is probably the most simplest mini-game in the game. Whenever a girl is in either Niki Beach, Tranquil Beach, or Bass Island; or if no one is there, you can play with your partner if you are partnered with another girl; you are given the option to play Flag Racing. The object of the game is, from a lying position, get up and start running to a flag. The first person to capture the flag wins. Your main button you will be pressing is the "A" button. This is used to "Get Up", and while continuously pressing the "A" button, run to the flag. To start you can skip the stretching scene and be in the ready mode. Once the opponent says "Get Ready" wait about three seconds. Right when the girl says "Go", start pressing the "A" button as fast as you can. If you get up before your opponent, you get a starting bonus. Once you are about three-to-four paces from the flag, you have the option to "Dive" for the flag. If you dive for the flag and capture it, you get a diving bonus. Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Winning 20,000 100,000 Starting Bonus 5,000 10,000 Jumping Flag Bonus 5,000 10,000 Disqualify 0 0 Waterslide [0407] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once the ticket for this is bought, this becomes available at anytime from the Brilliant Jungle area. The main button you will be using is the left analog stick. Holding the stick to either the "Left" or "Right" will turn the flotation in that direction. Holding the stick "Up" will speed up the flotation. Conversely, holding the stick "Down" will slow down the flotation. Generally you can go through the course in under 35 seconds. However if you lean the wrong way, or you put too much speed into a turn; or not enough speed; you will fall off the course and get disqualified. Generally the big concern is the "Cork-Screw" at about ten seconds into the run. Most people don't put in enough speed for the turn. The way past it is, after the big drop, there is a turn to the left. Immediately after that left turn, hold down the "Up" button all the way through the "Cork-Screw." I will try to put things into Straight-a-ways and turns for easy reference: Turn 1 - Hold Left Straight 1 - Nothing Turn 2 - Hold Right Straight 2 - Nothing Turn 3 - Hold Right Straight 3 - Nothing Turn 4 - Hold Left Straight 4 - Hold Up Turn 5 - Hold Up Straight 5 - Hold Up Turn 6 - Hold Up (Cork-screw) Turn 7 - Hold Right Straight 6 - Nothing Turn 8 - Hold Right-Up Straight 7 - Hold Up Straight 8 - Hold Up (Flip) Turn 9 - Hold Right-Down Straight 9 - Slight Down Turn 10 - Hold Left-Down Straight 10 - Slight Down Turn 11 - Hold Right-Up Straight 11 - Hold Up Turn 12 - Hold Left-UP Straight 12 - Hold Up End Points are as follows: Before Dec. 14th Patch After Dec. 14th Patch Finishing Bonus 30,000 100,000 Speed Bonus 1,000 Disqualified 0 0 Pole Dancing [0408] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not really an activity, more like a gravure than anything else. In order to get this, you must go into the casino while at night. Also you must have a MINIMUM of 20 – 25 million Zack bucks on-hand. Go to the slots and choose $1000 denominations. Enter into the slots and choose Christie's (first one on the right-hand side from the entering position). Then hold down the "A" button. You need to score nine "Triple Christie" in order to get the Secret Ticket. You know you are getting somewhere when you score a "Triple Christie" and they start showing a portion of the pole dancing scene staring; you guessed it; Christie. Every time you win, not only do you win three million dollars, but the pole scene gets longer and longer in length. The entire video is about 1:30 long. The ending has Christie crawling on the stage to the pole and "fogs" out. The main downside to the slot is that it has a nasty way of taking your money. The slot likes to throw in "Triple Bangs" A LOT!!! So you may gain three million from the "Triple Christie", but you will lose all of the winnings from that win in no time flat. After the nine wins, exit out of the casino and go to the next day. On your return to the hotel your next gift will be the Secret Ticket. You can view the ticket to watch your current character perform the same pole dancing scene that you saw earlier at any time. HOWEVER, once you completely watch the video, the ticket will be lost and you will have to perform the slots again. You can bypass this by turning off your system right before the video ends. Another is to hold onto your ticket. After you complete a collection for a particular character you have the chance to unlock the Virtual Pictorial mode, which I will get to later. If you have viewed the pole dancing scene at least once with that character, you can watch the pole dancing scene however number of times you want to with any suit on the girl. So theoretically, you can watch the video 100 times in a row with the girl wearing the Venus suit if you wanted to. Thanks to Ender (DOACentral) If you perform the Gamertag Exploit right before heading into the slots, there is a chance that the slots, including Christie's, perform at double to triple their normal speed. What normally takes 45 minutes to an hours of constant slots is brought down to about 30 minutes. I have tried this, and it does work. Granted you can lose A LOT of money REAL fast with this method though. Win 1: After first kick Win 2: Right before song starts Win 3: "Dangerously Shock Cold" Win 4: "See you gone forever" Win 5: The kick after the twirling around pole Win 6: "Dangerously Shock Cold" Win 7: "See you gone forever" Win 8: After second "Whoa Ho" Win 9: Finish video For those wondering, the music that is being played during the pole dance is not mentioned in either the game book, nor in the game itself. But if you want to check the song out more, it called "My Grave" by Becky Baeling. Gravure [0409] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The game is supposed to be a rest and relaxation type of game, so whenever You choose to rest in an area or "Be Friendly" with one of the other characters, you perform a "Gravure." A gravure is basically a video of the girls rolling around, laying back, walking around, or just having fun. Accessories [0602]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accessories can be used to "Accessorize" the girls. Most items do not
"Go Bad", however, the flower accessories do "Whither" away after four sessions.
This means that if I bought a Plumeria in the Morning, and I do not put it into
my Collection at Night, the Plumeria will "Whither" away the beginning of the
next Morning session.

Items [0603]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are items that can be bought from the Zack-Of-All-Trades Shop,
Accessories Shop, or the Sports Shop. I will list the items that can be bought
from either the Accessories Shop or the Sports Shop. The rest are bought from
the Zack-Of-All-Trades Shop. Most of these items are used for gift giving to
other girls. Some of the items are perishable items, meaning that those items
will go bad after ONLY two sessions. This means that if you buy a perishable
item in the Morning Session, the item will go bad by the beginning of the
Evening session. If you want to put these items into your collection at Night,
you MUST buy those items during the Evening session. Zack gives a total of four
Zack Only items to each girl. ONLY when playing as Hitomi, that you DO NOT need
to buy the State-of-the-Art Camera. She has this already in your inventory when
you start as her.

Watercrafts [0604]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The watercrafts can be bought from the Sports Shop. Once you have bought a
watercraft they cannot be re-bought no matter how many vacations you go on.
Unlike the other items in the game, these do not get put into a collection.
Instead, they are kept at Niki Marina. So whenever you choose to participate in
the Marina Racing, you will be given an option to choose from the selection of
Watercrafts that you have bought.

Sign-Out/Gamertag Glitch [0700]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The exploit is a glitch in the game that resets the game to the last saved
point. This exploit is really only good to use during roulette and gift giving.
All you have to do is hit the gamertag button on the controller (the large
circle with the green "X" in the center), within a certain period of time. The
gamertag blade will open up. Next hit the "X" button to bring up the sign-out
blade. Press the "Up Button" to highlight the "Confirm Sign Out". If the desired
effect takes place, just hit the "B" button to cancel out. However, if the
desired effect does not take place, hit the "A" button to confirm the sign out.
Before anything else happens, the system will ask if you want to sign back
in. Select yes, and confirm the gamer name that you are working with. Once
logged back in, cancel out of the gamertag blade. It brings up a message saying
that any saved data will be lost. Do not worry about this. Confirm this to
head back to the main screen. If you go back to the vacation, any lost items;
whether they are gifts or money; will be back in your possession.
On December 14th, Tecmo released a patch for this exploit. If you download
the patch, the exploit will not take place. In return you do get more money for
winning any of the games. However gift giving will be difficult. If you have
already downloaded the patch, you can delete the patch by clearing the memory
cache. To do this, log into your dashboard. Next head over to the "Memory"
blade, then go into "System". Next highlight the hard drive that your
information is saved to. Then press the following button string:
"Y, X, X, L Bumper (button above the left trigger [think L1 button]), R Bumper
(button above the right trigger [think R1 button]), X, X"
A message will pop up saying that the system will perform maintenance.
Confirm the message, and the system will clear out the cache. The only downside
to all of this is that not only will the Dead or Alive Xtream 2 patch will be
deleted but ANY patches to any XBOX 360 games will also be deleted. So if you
have downloaded the DOA 4 patch, you will have to re-download that patch as
well, or any download file for any backwards compatible games. So a good idea
is that while playing Dead or Alive Xtream 2, is to unplug the network cable
from the system, so that the message will not appear and not have you
accidentally download the patch.
Gift Giving [0800]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah the fun part, and most time consuming of the entire game. This is where I
will list all known reaction items, how to power suit gift girls, and so on.
Each girl has several reaction phrases with different results. For example,
all girls have a love and like phrase, where they will accept the gift at all
costs. However some girls have two different Dislike and Hate phrases. Generally
what this means is that some items, even though they dislike or hate an item,
they will still accept a gift. However, if you give them a dislike or hate item,
their relationship with you will go down. It's best to just give girls love
items, and if need be, like items.

Suit Gift Giving [0810]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably the most asked about question for this game. Well, I can say this,
with the December 14th patch, this game is near impossible to get all suits on
all girls. It's doable, but will take 10-20 times longer than you would without
the patch. I will split this up into with and without the December 14th patch.
To help with knowing which suits you have acquired, received, etc., several
users have set up Microsoft Excel sheets for easy usage:
PAT2K9 (Xbox Forums) set up a basic sheet, that you can pick up here:
http://www.sahasrahla.net/pat2k9/
ALCAM-USA (IGN Boards) has also set up a Excel Workbook that I helped cleaned
up for him. This gives a lot cleaner look and feel as well as more information:
Microsoft Excel 1997 - 2003 - http://www.bleach7.com/hinalover/DOAX2XXX.xls
Microsoft Works Spreadsheet –
http://www.bleach7.com/hinalover/DOAX2XXX_Works.xls
Microsoft Excel 2007 - http://www.bleach7.com/hinalover/DOAX2XXX.xlsx
manuleto (DOACentral) has set up PDF files for those who don't have access to
any spreadsheet programs:

Without the December 14th Patch
-------------------------------
[Thanks to Sokar (DOACentral) and BboyDubC (DOACentral)]
First of all you need to have a girl you want to give suits to, then
start a new vacation. On the first day DO NOT ASK FOR A GUIDE!! Instead just
accept the girl you are given to partner up with. The only exception to this is
if the girl you want to partner up with is the girl you are given. At which
point decline and spend the Morning session partnering up with another girl.
Spend one of the remaining sessions playing volleyball against the girl you want
to gift to, and a second session to give the girl a love item. Spend all three
sessions buying up on one copy of each suit and love items. Make sure you are
wrapping the items in the givee girl's favorite color. If you have played
volleyball and given a suit during the first two sets, just rest during the
Evening session. That night, select the hotel that the givee girl's favorite
hotel. I've listed them all in each of the girl's bios if you missed them. That
night, send a love gift to the girl you want to give to. Also take out several
of your own suits from your collection. Preferably gather the most expensive
suits from the girl you are playing as. For example, say you are playing Lisa,
at the very least take out the Venus, Fortune and Arthemus on the first night
and a few others to be on the safe side.
Starting the next day you are going to be repeating a pattern for the
rest of the vacation. First of all, there are several girls who are "GRUMPY!!"
during the Morning session, and you shouldn't even bother them during this time.
These girls are Ayane, Helena, and Tina. On the first available session for the
givee girl, put on your copy of the swimsuit you wish to give to the girl, and
go to the girl's location. Next select to give the girl a gift and choose the
swimsuit that you want to give to the girl. The screen will go into a black
screen with just the words "NOW LOADING". WHILE THIS SCREEN IS UP, PRESS THE
GAMERTAG BUTTON!!! This is your only time to press the gamertag and initiate the
sign out exploit. Get ready to sign out and wait for the gravure to start up to
start the gift giving initiation.
First thing you need to look at when the gravure starts is to see how
many "love notes" are floating over the givee's icon. If there are not four to
five "love notes" floating over her head, sign out right then and there. She
will not accept any suits when her love interest is any lower than four or five
notes. When you sign back in and get back to selecting what item to give to the
girl, select a love item instead and try giving her a suit during the next
session.
If her notes are fine wait for a response to your suit. The ONLY time
you cancel out is if the givee girl "Twirls" into the suit. There is a little
animation where hearts start flying off of the givee girl and the girl "Twirls"
and magically the suit you give her is placed on her. This means she "LOVES" the
item and will "Red Heart" the item. When a girl "Red Hearts" a suit, it means
that she will wear that suit more often than suits that are "Yellow Hearted".
"Yellow Hearted" suits are suits she feels like or neutral about.
If the girl does not accept the suit, you sign out as usual for the sign
out exploit. And when you get back to that session, change your suit to the next
suit you want to give to the girl, and try giving her that suit. If she rejects
that suit as well, just keep going down the list. If you run out of suits, just
rest for that session, and try again during the next session
That night, give her a love item. Sometimes when you give her a suit and
she supposedly loves it, she in reality hates it and it won't show until the
Nighttime session. So you are basically constantly make her love all the items
all the time.
You continue doing this method until you have give the givee girl all of
your suits. Sometimes, especially with Ayane, Helena, and Tina, you will have to
spend two vacations giving them suits so that they have all of them.
With the December 14th Patch
----------------------------
With the patch, gift giving is a lot more time consuming. Just follow the
directions for the first day with the previous walkthrough. Then when you are
ready to gift give suits, instead of trying to sign out each time, you have to
make sure the girl is at max "love notes". Then wear the suit you want to give
the girl and give her the gift. If the girl does not accept the gift, she will
hand the outfit back. Now you will have to re-wrap the gift, which can be done
by going to the second section of Zack-Of-All-Trades. The catch is that to wrap
an already open gift, it will cost you half the amount you paid for the item. So
say you bought a Venus, which costs 1,000,000, it will cost you 500,000 to
re-wrap the gift. If you do get rejected, give the girl a love item the next
session to bring her attraction back up. Then try again. Again, give her a love
item every night. Once you run out of love items, end that vacation and start a
new vacation. If the girl does accept a gift, especially a high-priced one, do
not attempt to gift her another suit the next session. Instead give her a love
item. The reason why is because even though she will accept the gift it is very
likely her attraction for you has gone down. So you need to bring that
attraction back up before trying again.
Crystal Boutique
----------------
On December 27th, Namco released a Xbox Live Marketplace Section, called the
Crystal Boutique, for those who have downloaded the December 14th patch. This
can be accessed when you go to your hotel. The option is the second to bottom
option of the list. If you do not feel like gift giving all those suits, you can
use Microsoft Points and buy all the suits with real money. Each collection
costs 400 Microsoft Points, but there are a few other items you can buy. The
only exception to this is that the character you are playing as' collection only
costs 200 Microsoft Points. Here is a list of the items you can buy from the
boutique.
Flower Bouquet (Kasumi) - 400 [200 if playing as Kasumi]
Fairy Fantasy (Ayane) - 400 [200 if playing as Ayane]
Galactic Nebula (Hitomi) - 400 [200 if playing as Hitomi]
Bird Flock (Leifang) - 400 [200 if playing as Leifang]
Star System (Tina) - 400 [200 if playing as Tina]
Goddess Gathering (Lisa) - 400 [200 if playing as Lisa]
Cocktail Bar (Helena) - 400 [200 if playing as Helena]
Jewelry Box (Christie) - 400 [200 if playing as Christie]
Fruit Basket (Kokoro) - 400 [200 if playing as Kokoro]
Tropical Treasures - 400 [Contains all 176 Accessory items]
Butt Battle Ticket - 100
Water Slide Ticket - 100
The main downside is this can get expensive. Given that 400 Microsoft Points
is equivalent to about $5.00 US dollars, to get a complete collection, it will
cost $5 x 8 + $2.50 (200 Microsoft Points is about $2.50 US dollars) = $42.50.
Times that by nine for each of the girls, and you are up to a whopping $382.50.
That is over six times the cost to buy the actual game.
The other downside is if you buy all the suits for that particular girl, and
place them all into your collection, you will not unlock the Virtual Pictorial
mode for that girl. The reason for this is because you have not bought or been
gifted all the suits, the game will recognize this and not unlock the mode. The
mode only unlocks once all suits have been bought or gifted within the game.
Once you buy a set, not only will that character's suits be unlocked in the
character you are playing as' collection, but any achievements related to buying
that collection will be unlocked. However if you take out of the collection any
of the items that you bought through Crystal Boutique, the item spot will not be
grayed out. What I mean is that normally when you buy an item, but do not put it
into the collection, or you take the item out of the collection, the spot that
it was taken out of (say the Venus), it will be grayed out with the name of item
showing on the right-hand side saying what it is. If you buy the item through
the Boutique, these items will NOT be grayed out. The reason for this is that
that item was not gifted or bought within the actual vacation. It's not a major
thing, but it might discourage a few people.
Gravure [0900]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the videos whenever a girl "Relax" in an open area of the game.
If there is a character already in the area, you will not get an option for
"Relax". These are videos of girls either having fun, relaxing, or doing
whatever. There are seventeen gravure scenes that you can do, as well as secret
eighteenth one that all the girls get. This secret one is if you stay in the
Seabreeze Cottage. Then on every even day, "Relax" in the Pool Side area during
the Evening session. You will be treated to a gravure that takes place on the
Seabreeze Cottage's patio. For Bass island, the only original gravure for each
girl take place during the Daytime. During the Morning and Evening session, the
girl swims underwater using the same gravure scene.
If a girl is partnered up with another girl, and if your partner's
relationship with you is up to four-to-five music notes, you may get an option
to "Be Friendly". These are videos of you and your partner together. There are
no more than three "Be Friendly" videos per couple. Each video is area and time
specific, so say a couple have a "Be Friendly" during the Daytime in the
Brilliant Jungle, and someone is already there, you will not get the option.
However if the area is free you may get the option. Each partner has two generic
"Be Friendly" gravure scenes. So no matter what partner you have, you have the
option of performing either one of these at any time. These two are during the
Daytime in Tranquil Beach. Both girls start climbing a tree together. The other
takes place during the Evening session in Niki Beach. The two girls start
walking along the beach together.
If your partner has already done a gravure in the area that you go to, you
can perform an "Imitation" of your partner's gravure, meaning you will copy what
your partner did. These do not include any "Sun Tan spreading" gravures, nor any
"Kata" practices. When I mean "Kata practices", I am talking about gravures
where the girls practice some of their combat moves.
There are several "Unknown" ["???"] areas that pop up every-so-often. These
are special areas that provide a different take on a similar area. The three
"Unknown" areas are "Area outside Radio Station", "Tree Trunk Near Brilliant
Jungle," and "Boat Near Tranquil Beach". Several girls have two of these
"Unknown" areas, while others only have one. The timing on these places are
purely random, but generally show up more often if you are "Relaxing" through
the vacation.
Lastly, though not one of the area gravure scenes, if you have obtained the
"Secret Ticket", you can view the girl that you are playing pole dancing scene.
However, if you view the scene, you will lose the ticket. Once you obtain the
Virtual Pictorial section, you can view that scene at any time, after you have
viewed the pole dancing scene once all the way through with that girl. You can
also perform the sign out trick RIGHT before the video ends and you will be able
to keep the ticket.

If you really want to make a lot of money in a very short period of time,
it is best that you do NOT have the December 14th patch installed. Without it,
you can generate almost 100 Million Zack bucks in about an hour-or-so time. To
generate this amount with the patch will take you seven full vacations of just
volleyball play (which would be a total of about 21 hours).
Before you start this, it is recommended that you go into the "Options" menu
of the game (right after the title screen where you select either going into a
vacation, XBOX Live and so on). Then go into the "Audio Settings." Next max out
the sound effects (100), turn off the voices (0), and you can keep the music at
its default setting if you want (80). The main reason for this is that you need
to be able to hear the roulette ball rolling. The way Roulette plays is that you
place bets on where you THINK the ball will land in a rotating wheel. You are
given one minute to place all bets that you think the ball will land. The ball
will start rolling at about ten seconds remaining.
Without December 14th Patch
---------------------------
If this the first couple of times doing this, it is recommended that you
start slowly. Start by only placing all chips (100 chips; meaning 1,000 for 100
bucks bets, 5,000 for 500 buck bets, or 10,000 for 1,000 buck bets) in the
"01-12" place area. Then press the gamertag button and select to sign out. If
the balls falls anywhere between one and twelve, cancel out. Let the money role
in. Then, to be on the safe side, cancel out of roulette and perform one 100 bet
slot on any of the slots. What this does is so that the game can generate a save
point for you. If you win a round of roulette without canceling out and doing a
slot, then loosing the next round, there is a chance of losing all of the money
that you have earned in this session. If you do lose, sign out and then sign
back in. This will reset you back to the title screen. Go back into the vacation
and try again. This is just to get you to know how long the roulette betting
time frame is. Between the time that the game says "Welcome to Roulette" and "No
More Betting" takes about a minute. You can hear The ball rolling with about 10
seconds left.
Once you understand how long the betting time frame takes place, you can
ease into more betting, such as all number betting. Since each betting returns
thirty-six times what you place down, you can net gain twenty-four times what
you put down (36,000 for 100 bucks bets, 180,000 for 500 buck bets, or 360,000
for 1,000 buck bets)
Finally once you get the knack of the trick, you can bet up to 52
columns. Here is the minimum amount of money you need for each of the betting
options. If you run out of money before you finish putting down all of your
money the trick will not work:
100 bets - 48,000 -> 52,000
500 bets - 240,000 -> 260,000
1,000 bets - 4,800,000 -> 5,200,000
Going with the "01-12" area, you start off at the far bottom left of the
grid (bottom row of the 0-00 & 1-2-3 column). Next right when the "Welcome to
Roulette" message finishes appearing, go to that spot and hold down the "A"
button. Let the pile top off and hit the "Up" button. Now hit the "Up" button
when you see 2-3 chips appear over the pile below, and repeat this method until
you hit the top row (should be over the number "3"). At the end of that pile,
hit the "right button", then perform the same patter but going down. The top of
each pile will decrease by 2-3 chips. Keep doing this zigzag movement for
forty-eight times. If you are doing this correctly, you should hear the ball
fall when you are piling up between 9-12. Once you DO hear the ball, you will
know that you can put down about 6-8 more piles on the board. If you want to
stop at a good time, you can stop once you are finished with the pile on number
"10". If your good, you can put in down three more piles. A MAJOR trick to this
is DO NOT BACKTRACK!!! If you backtrack, you slow down your movement and your
timing. With this method, you can generate; using 1,000 buck bets; anywhere
between 8 Million and 17 Million! After every win, it is STRONGLY advised that
you exit out of Roulette, then head back in. This way you are saving your money.
The reason for this is if you win one round and don't exit out, then you lose
the next round you will lose all the money that you just earned.
It is a good idea to stay in one area at all times. The reason for this
is that if you are jumping around, you can theoretically corrupt your data. It
has happened to the author of this FAQ twice, and has had to restart from
scratch both times. I'll get into the strategy that I was working with later.
What you can do is this, if you feel like you are not getting any money by doing
this, and you feel like you are constantly in a losing streak, there is an
option for you. When you start a roulette power gaming, count the number of
times that the ball lands in each section. So if the ball lands in a "01-12"
area add one to that group. If it lands in the "13-24" area, add one to that
group, and so on. You will notice that the ball tends to land in two areas more
often than the others, sometimes in one section than the other. Once you can
establish that, you can move the chips to that area.

With December 14th Patch
------------------------
With the patch, you can generate over 1 Million bucks by just doing
Volleyball all day, so playing roulette is more chancy to play than it was
before. The only suggestion I can give is this. USE THE LEADERBOARD!!! The
Leaderboard shows the last numbers that the ball lands on. Unlike the real
roulette at actual casinos where luck is everything, here the game has a set
pattern that it follows. The bottom five numbers are the last five numbers
chosen. Look at the bottom five numbers and look for ANY pattern. Group each
number into a "01-12", "13-24", "25-36" area grouping, and then look for a
pattern. If "01-12" numbers appear to show up more, it is more likely that the
next number will fall into the "01-12" area. If you want to practice this, only
play in the "01-12" AREA place spot.
If you perform this trick when you DO NOT have the patch, there is a
chance of corrupting your game. Sometimes when you try to deduce where the ball
falls, you will go into long slumps. If you go into a very LONG one (I'm talking
12-15 rounds on loosing), there is a chance that your money will continue to
drop even though the sign out trick worked fine. At this time stop playing
roulette, and just go to the next day. Hopefully this will save the file so that
you don't get a corrupt file permanently.
When you do win at Roulette, the game takes each pile separately, times that
pile by the winning payout ratio for that spot and adds it to the total. So say
for example you placed down max number of chips around and on the number "5" as
well as the columns for that number, and won you should have something like
this:
________________________________________________________________________________
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
| 0 | 3 | 6 | 9 | 12 | 15 | 18 | 21 | 24 | 27 | 30 | 33 | 36 | <|
| 0 |_____*__*__*_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|__|
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
|---| 2 * * * 8 | 11 | 14 | 17 | 20 | 23 | 26 | 29 | 32 | 35 | <|
| |_____*__*__*_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|__|
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
| 0 | 1 | 4 | 7 | 10 | 13 | 16 | 19 | 22 | 25 | 28 | 31 | 34 | <|
|___|_____*__*__*_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|_____|__|
| | | |
| 01-12 | 13-24 | 25-36 |
|_______________________|_______________________|_______________________|
| | | | | | |
| 01-18 | EVENS | RED | BLACK | ODDS | 19-36 |
|___________|___________|___________|___________|___________|___________|
Now hypothetically that you placed down all 100 chips for each pile at
1,000 per chip, this is what will be the result:
5 = 36 * 1,000 * 100 = 3,600,000
2-5 = 18 * 1,000 * 100 = 1,800,000
4-5 = 18 * 1,000 * 100 = 1,800,000
5-6 = 18 * 1,000 * 100 = 1,800,000
5-8 = 18 * 1,000 * 100 = 1,800,000
1-2-4-5 = 9 * 1,000 * 100 = 900,000
2-3-5-6 = 9 * 1,000 * 100 = 900,000
4-5-7-8 = 9 * 1,000 * 100 = 900,000
5-6-8-9 = 9 * 1,000 * 100 = 900,000
4-5-6 = 12 * 1,000 * 100 = 1,200,000
1-2-3 & 4-5-6 = 6 * 1,000 * 100 = 600,000
4-5-6 & 7-8-9 = 6 * 1,000 * 100 = 600,000 +

Slots [0802]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For all slots with negative results, in order to use them, you must have
Enough money to pay off any negative losses that you would incur. So for
example, if you use Christies' slot, and if you wish to use $1000 credits, you
must have $1,500,000 on-hand. The reason for this is that a "Triple Bang" is
worth X-500. Since each slot requires three credits, $3000 x -500 is
-$1,500,000. However, slots with negative amounts are more likely to hit any
combination than slots with only positive amounts. Plus the slots with higher
max positive amounts are less likely to occur than slots with lower max amounts.
This means that you are more likely to hit a combination with Kasumi than you
would with Helena. Also you are more likely to hit a combination with Christie's
then you are with Kasumi.
When it says "ANY SAME", it means one of the two open slots have to have the
Named item for that line. So for example with Kasumi, the line asking for "ANY
SAME", "ANY SAME", "Sea Shells"; it is saying one of the two "ANY SAME" must be
"Sea Shells". When the line says "ANY DIFFERENT", this just means that the two
can be any item. So for Tina, when it says "ANY DIFFERENT", "ANY DIFFERENT",
"Bass", the two "ANY DIFFERENT" can be "Red Love", "Church Bell", then "Bass",
and it will still go through.

Black Jack [0803]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a traditional Black Jack. The dealer and the player both draw cards
and whoever's hand total is closest to 21 is the winner. However anything past
22 is an automatic loss. Jacks, Queens and Kings are all counted as 10, and Aces
can be counted as either 1 or 11. All other cards have the same value as their
numbers. The deck consists of two decks put together, so there are a total of
104 cards. If a user ties the Dealer's hand, the user gets all of the money she
places down. If the user beats the Dealer's hand, then she wins a portion, or
all of the pot, depending on if other girls win as well.

Achievements [0900]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will have to point this out, a lot of people are having troubles figuring
out what it means to "Make __ [# of] Friends". What this means is that in
addition to having one copy of your own set of swimsuits, you need to have one
of every swimsuit of another girls. So for example, you want to get the Kasumi
"Make 2 Friends" achievement. Not only do you have to have all of Kasumi's
outfits in your possession, but also you have to have all of (for example)
Lisa's outfits as well as Ayane's outfits in Kasumi's possession. To get the
"Make 4 Friends" achievement, you need to have all of the swimsuits from four
other girls (IE. Lisa, Ayane, Kokoro, and Leifang). Same thing with "Make 6
Friends", you give to Kasumi all the suits from six other girls. For the
"Complete Collection" Achievement, you need to have one of every purchasable
suit in the game on the character you want the achievement for. Meaning, Kasumi
needs to have a copy of every swimsuit in the game; that is not a Zack Only
gift. The achievement can be obtained even if you don't have all of the Zack
Only swimsuits, and they are ONLY given by either moving on to the next day or
heading back to the main menu during the Night Session.
Also I would like to point out that no one, at the time of this writing has
yet to figure out the 100 point achievement at the bottom. Once it does become
available, I will update this with the appropriate information.

Secrets & Hints [1000]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Virtual Pictorial Mode
Once you have bought or been gifted ALL SUITS; not counting anything that
was bought from the Crystal Boutique; you can unlock the Virtual Pictorial Mode.
First, make sure you buy an extra swimsuit for that girl. Then go into the
girl's collection while at Night, and make sure that ALL of their swimsuits are
in their collection. This means that there cannot be a single outfit "Taken
Out" or "Thrown Away". Once you have made sure that this is done, go back to the
main menu screen. A new option will become available, called "Virtual
Pictorial". Here you can view all Gravure Movies that you have seen FOR THAT
GIRL. You cannot use any cameras to take pictures in this mode, but the controls
act as if you have the State-of-the-art camera equipped to change views and
what-not. Plus you can change what outfits are on the girls, and if you have
seen the Pole Dancing scene, you can view this at anytime now, through this
mode.
Zack Items
Zack Items are items that are only available through the gifts that Zack
Gives during the Nighttime. All but one gift is directly related to how much you
Play volleyball. The one item you will always get on the VERY FIRST NIGHT your
girl stays at a hotel on her FIRST vacation on the island, is the "Retro
Camera." If you play four volleyball games, and leave the island, then come
back, the first night back she will obtain her first (and for most of the girls,
their only) "Animal Suit." The only exception to this are Kasumi and Kokoro.
They seem to not have a set number of games to which to play, but the more
Volleyball games you play, and win, the more likely you will get more of their
"Zack Only Suits". As for the volleyball's themselves, they depend on the total
number of volleyball game wins you have.
After 10 wins - Silver Volleyball
After 30 wins - Gold Volleyball
After 50 wins - Strange Volleyball
Q & A [1100]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. How do I put stuff into my collection?
A. During the night session, press the "X" button, to see what you currently
have in your possession. When you select an item, an extra option will become
available, called "Put Away". Select that to put your items in your collection.
If you have already placed an item into your collection, the game will notify
you of so.
Q. How do you unlock the secret achievement?
A. No one right now knows at all. There have been speculation, but no hard
fact to back up anything. There is thought that you need to unlock ALL gravure
movies for all girls, that includes all Be Friends, Relax, Imitation videos as
well as the pole dancing video. There is thought that you need to unlock all
videos as well as have ALL swimsuits, accessories, and items in your collection;
meaning you need to get the secret ticket twice per girl. Others think it's a
time-based achievement. But really no one knows. There are people who have all
of the girl's collections completed but still nothing. As of this writing, only
one person has unlocked the achievement, but he is Korean and doesn't seem to
respond to any messages sent to him/her. Only time will tell.
Q. You keep talking about the December 14th patch, but there was another patch
before that. What did that do?
A. That patch only allowed you to gift items and join up with other girls in
the Marine Racing area. However, if you have downloaded the Dec. 14th patch, and
you clear your cache, there is no way to JUST download the first patch. The Dec.
14th patch combines both patches together. So if you had to get rid of the
patch, it will take a little longer to gift all suits to a girl since they
sometimes like to hang out at the Marine Racing area all day.
Q. I have Dead or Alive 4. Is there any connections between having a saved game
in that and Dead or Alive Xtream 2?
A. At the time, I am unsure. There is a rumor going around that if you have a
girl who did 100 consecutive wins in survival, that she would have a
State-of-the-Art camera in her possession. The easiest person for that is
Christie. However I cannot confirm this, since the best I was ever able to do in
survival was 47 wins with Christie.
Q. My game freezes when I acquire Hitomi's Achievement and I go to bed. How do
I fix this?
A. This is a known glitch that no one seems to know how it came about.
Basically, if you just got one of Hitomi's achievements, the game MAY freeze
when you go to bed. The only suggestion is to shut down the game, and restart.
The game will be back at the Hotel, and you can try to go to bed again.
Q. The game just corrupted my data!! What do I do?!?
A. I'm sorry but I don't know what to say. The game corrupted my game twice
already, and I've already had to restart from scratch twice. The only suggestion
is to get one of those backup systems where you back up either your Memory Card
or Hard Drive onto the computer, and you restore your game if the game DOES
corrupt your data.
Q. Can I offer suggestions to this FAQ?
A. Sure, if it's a reliable offering. Something like "I know how to make the
girls nude" is NOT something I will accept.
