I. Versions

I was able to get all the survivors and information about them.
Failed the cases while doing this though, so I'm missing some
information about Carlito, Isabela, Brad, and Larry. Hope to fix
this soon.

I added a few extra stuff, as well as two more tips to section IV.

Added Photo Ops to Sally and Nick, as well as fixed a sex
problem in Nick's notes. I wrote "her" instead of "him".

II. Special Note

This is the first FAQ I have ever written. I had to look at other
FAQs to see the format and such and get ideas how to write it
but I had a general idea. If it look different than the normal
FAQ, then you know why!

III. General Information

This list has all the survivors that you would find in the
notebook, I have to warn you, this contains some spoilers. Do
not read the list if you have not beaten the game yet, or go
ahead even if you didn't, but you WILL be spoiled. Now let
me explain the layout.

(what time this survivor can first be located) {what mission or
scoop this survivor can be found in} Notes: Some notes or
observations, I'll tell you what you have to do in order to get
this person to join you. I'll also tell you if Otis doesn't call
about this survivor, meaning you will have to stumble upon
this survivor without the aid of a mission or scoop. Finally I'll
tell you if Otis calls later on because this survivor need to talk
to you or is planning something bad and you need to
intervene.

IV. Tips

Here are some tips about escorting survivors:
1. When you make visual contact with a survivor you will see
their name with their lifebar over them, sometimes accopanied
with a audio sentance or sound from a survivor.

2. To get survivors to join you, you have to talk to them with
B, sometimes there are several parts of the conversation,
requiring you to press B more than once. You will get a huge
light blue message on screen when they join you.

3. Survivors will not spawn if you are in the same area as where
the survivor is to be. Otis will not call you about survivors
either if you are in the same area.

4. You can only have 8 survivors in your party at once, Otis will
not call about a scoop you if you have the maximum amount of
survivors or if the number of survivors in the scoop plus the
number of current survivors in your party equal more than 8.

5. Survivors left behind in another area will have their name on
the lower left area of the screen. Their health will slowly
deplete until you go back and get them. Likewise, if you run
into a survivor (actully seeing their name on screen with their
life bar), random or scoop, and leave the area without talking
to them, their health will slowly deplete as well.

6. When a survivor is under attack by a zombie, he or she will
call out your name a LOT until you help them. You can tell
where a survivor is off-screen by a small rectangle on the side
of the screen where the survivor is. Inside the small rectangle
will be the survivor and what he or she is doing and under it
will be the survivor's health bar and name. If the survivor is
too far away from you, the name and healthbar will not appear
under the rectangle.

7. You can press Y to call survivors to you. If you go into aim
mode and press Y, you can set a way point where the
survivors will head to and stay until given a new way point or
called. Be careful, survivors that are at a way point will call
your name a lot, even if they are not under attack. So it can
get confusing with who is under attack.

8. You can assist some survivors and a few you are required
to do such. Just stand next to a survivor and if you can assist,
"Hold Hands", "Give Shoulder", or "Carry" will appear.

9. You can give some items to survivors, like guns. You can
also give food to survivors to regain their health. Survivors
who can get assistants will not accept weapon items but will
accept food to eat. Survivors will not accept big weapon items,
like benches, trash cans, chainsaws, or anything that you
cannot store and have to drop to pick something else up.

10. The goal is to escort survivors to the Security Room via
Rooftop. They have to climb up the ledge to get to the airduct,
and it can get messy. What I do is when I get off the elevator
I go into aim mode, aim at the air duct, and press Y, setting a
way point. The survivors will run in a single file line and climp
up the ledge one at a time. If you run to the air duct and just
press Y, they will all get stuck at the legde, trying to jump
up all at once.

Notes: He is a psycopath. Kent's quests are quite confusing,
so let me take this time to clear it up. First take a picture of him
kneeling down and snapping a photo of you. Afterwards, he
wants you take a picture of his "cool" pose, which is AFTER
he kneels down to snap a picture. He will get up and do an arm
pump, that is the pose you are looking for. He also does a
jump kick which is a Photo Op. Then he shows you his
pictures and says to get better shots, when he really just
wants you to get an Erotica photo worth more than 500PP.
When you go look for Kent the second time around to show
the Erotica photo, he will be just running around Paradise
Plaza, not at Columbian Roastmasters.

and pressing Y. After she is over the counter, pick her up,
since you can't jump while holding someone.

you use the shortcut, which you must jump on the sink in the
corner to use. After you use it and are in the women's
bathroom of Paradise Plaza, he will follow you around.

Notes: By far the most longest and drawn out conversation

talking to him, he'll refuse at first to join you. Then he will
start giving you "...", then finally he will join you. He can run
for a bit before stoping and taking a breath but you have the
option to carry him. Later, you will get a call from Otis about
Floyd asking for a bottle of wine.

Notes: He can really shoot with a gun but keep an eye on him,

from Otis about him. Later on you will get a call from Otis
telling you he is planning to escape along with the other
survivors. Just go and talk to him to calm him down. If you fail
to talk to him, he will take the whole room with him and you
will lose that group.

Notes: He seems to appear after you defeat Sean. Talk to him

join you. Midway into the first part of the conversation before
he has a change of heart he will make a pose which is a Photo
Op. He is really drunk so you need to help him walk. You will
not get a call from Otis about him.

Notes: He is a psycopath, but can be saved. During the battle,
sometimes he will laugh which is a Photo Op. After the battle
he will be on fire, which is a Photo Op. Take the fire
extinguisher there and move a bit away. Do NOT go into aim
mode or you will be throwing the extinguisher, instead just
face Paul and hold down X, Frank will start spraying in a
up-down fashion. Soon the fire will be out. Later you will get a
call from Otis about Paul wanting to talk to you. Just talk to
him and he will give you a molotov cocktail, talk to him
whenever you want for another one,
he has infinity.

Notes: You have to be on time for Kent's meeting, noon, to
save him. If you are late, since the scoop does not expire until
about 1PM, he will already be dead and you will have an
alternative battle with Kent. You must defeat Kent to untie
him, if he is not already dead.
