DARK KNIGHT CHALLENGES v1.4 by bigsnakejake I could not find any unified source online for the Dark Knight Challenges so I have put down my own experiences with these glitchy sidequests. Follow this guide and you will get all of the awards very easily and not end up at a point where you cannot complete them all, as I was the first time I played through. Before beginning read these words of caution. 1. The most important thing to remember is to START IMMEDIATELY. Do as many as you can before progressing the story at all. You can complete all of the Gotham Protector challenges from the very beginning and most of the Shadow Vigilante challenges as well. Follow this guide and you will come out OK. 2. Remember that the story predator rooms DO NOT repopulate so if you run out of them, you'll have to finish the Worst Nightmare challenges on New Game+, and if you're playing on Easy mode, then you're screwed. 3. This system is incredibly buggy BUT the glitches are predictable. I have done my best to explain how to achieve all of the challenges by utilizing these bugs, according to my personal experience. 4. It is very important to remember that for certain challenges, you may have met the requirements, but the game doesn't give you the award until the NEXT time it saves. This is why some players have reported receiving an award while gliding around town or doing another unrelated activity. Like I said, it is very buggy. I highly recommend that after getting a Worst Nightmare award you should continue play for at least two or three saves just to be safe before quitting. It should be said that I played this on the PS3, although I think all versions are just as bugged. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shadow Vigilante ---------------- Shadow Vigilante is a collection of all the combat challenges. Batman will have to mix up his moves greatly and try for high combos in order to complete some of the later Shadow Vigilante challenges. >> RANK 01 - COUNTER BASICS Challenge: Perform 5 counters. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A >> RANK 02 - BATARANG COMBO Challenge: Use the quickfire batarang 3 times while in combat. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A >> RANK 03 - COMBO STREAK Challenge: Reach x8 multiplier. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: Free Flow Focus >> RANK 04 - COMBO TAKEDOWN Challenge: Perform 3 special combo takedowns. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Special combo takedowns are performed by pressing two buttons after Batman's multiplier (combo) gauge is glowing (he enters focus mode). It will glow by default after he gets to a multiplier of 8 or it can be lowered to 5 with the help of upgrades. The default combo takedown is Triangle + O/Y + B and more can be unlocked, so do one of the combo takedowns three times to complete this challenge. >> RANK 05 - FREE FLOW FOCUS MODE Challenge: Complete a fight without leaving focus mode. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Complete a fight without performing a special combo takedown. Performing a takedown once Batman's combo gauge is glowing will make him lose focus, so basically just don't perform a special combo takedown at all and remain in focus mode at the end of the fight. >> RANK 06 - COMBO VARIATION Challenge: Score a combat variation bonus of 3 or more in one fight. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A The following are all of Batman's variations that he can perform during a combo: Strike Counter Redirect (evading over enemy) Stun Super Stun (O, O, O/B, B, B) Ground Takedown Aerial Attack (O, X, X/B, A, A) Beatdown (don't believe you have to finish it for it to count) Special Takedown (Triangle+O/Y+B) Bat Swarm (Square+X/X+A) Disarm and Destroy (Square+Triangle/X+Y) Multi-ground Takedown (X+O/A+B) Batarang Batclaw Slam (counts as 2 varieties) Glue Grenade Concussion Detonator Explosive Gel >> RANK 07 - EXPLOSIVE GEL KNOCKDOWN Challenge: Knockdown at least 3 enemies with explosive gel. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Use explosive gel (hold L2 then tap Square) during a fight to knockdown at least three enemies. The button sequence is used once to lay down an explosive and then tap the buttons again to detonate. >> RANK 08 - DOUBLE TRIP Challenge: Knock down 2 enemies with one slide. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Run by holding the jump button then slide with the duck button and hit two enemies during combat. >> RANK 09 - ADVANCED COUNTER TECHNIQUE Challenge: Perform a counter in the middle of a beatdown. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Cape Stun and then perform a beatdown on the stunned thug by tapping the attack button rapidly then counter another thug that tries to hit Batman during the beatdown. >> RANK 10 - HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD Challenge: Get an A grade in a fight with at least a high threat level. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: Free Flow Power Gadgets High threat levels often include enemies with knives, body armor and/or shields so just get in a fight with some of those type of thugs and get at least an A-rank at the end of the battle. >> RANK 11 - POWER GADGETS Challenge: Use the power gadget ability 3 times. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Once Batman has entered focus mode (combo of 8 or higher) perform a quick fire gadget attack such as a batarang toss (R2/RT) and the gadget will have more power to it. Do this three times to complete this challenge. You can tell the difference by the batarang knocking a thug down instead of just stunning him. >> RANK 12 - NATURAL 12 Challenge: Perform 20 critical strikes in one free flow combo. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Don't even try to do this one until after defeating Shiva in her Most Wanted Mission. After she is defeated, Batman will gain the critical strike upgrade to where almost every one of his attacks will be a critical. After getting the upgrade, it is no problem to perform 20 critical attacks during a combo. Before getting the upgrade, you have to have a certain type of timing in pressing the attack button between hits in order to land a critical with an attack. NOTE: I got Rank 12 and Rank 13 in the same fight, in the Steel Mill before Copperhead where you use the crane to smash the wall. >> RANK 13 - COMPLETE FIGHTER Challenge: Reach x30 multiplier and perform 7 variations in a single fight. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Get a 30 combo during a fight and perform at least 7 variations. See rank 6 or 15 for a list of all variations. >> RANK 14 - COMBAT SYNERGY Challenge: Take out 3 or more enemies with one use of the multi-ground takedown. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Knock down three thugs and then use the multi-ground takedown (X+O/A+B) to hit all three of them while they are on the ground. It's best to wait until Batman enters focus mode then knock down three thugs quickly and then perform the multi-ground takdedown. NOTE: Super easy. I don't know how this is Rank 14 and not way earlier. This move alone makes the whole game easy. >> RANK 15 - SHADOW VIGILANTE Challenge: Complete a fight with a medium or higher threat level without being hit, with a x50 combo and at least 15 variations. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: Shadow Vigilante Title This challenge sounds near impossible if you're not an expert in Batman's combat, but it's actually not that hard since there is a trick to this challenge - Batman does not have to perform all of the objectives in one fight! Basically, you can go through one fight without being hit, another fight with a combo of 50 and another fight with at least 15 variations. The order doesn't matter and Batman can fail in doing this and still get the objective in another fight SO LONG as you DO NOT stop your game. Also, for the variations, they do not have to be done all in one string - you can get hit and break the combo - but you must perform all 15 during one fight. The following are all of Batman's variations that he can perform during a combo: Strike Counter Redirect (evading over enemy) Stun Super Stun (O, O, O/B, B, B) Ground Takedown Aerial Attack (O, X, X/B, A, A) Beatdown (don't believe you have to finish it for it to count) Special Takedown (Triangle+O/Y+B) Bat Swarm (Square+X/X+A) Disarm and Destroy (Square+Triangle/X+Y) Multi-ground Takedown (X+O/A+B) Batarang Batclaw Slam (counts as 2 varieties) Glue Grenade Concussion Detonator Explosive Gel NOTE: I got this award after doing one of each of the requirements in three separate battles. It did not give it to me until I picked an easy fight with three thugs. When it saved after that fight, I got the award. You might have the same experience. An easy spot to look is in the Diamond District at street level, just under the word "Diamond" on the map. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gotham City Protector --------------------- Gotham City Protector is compiled of gliding challenges. A player must master the dive, grapnel accelerator and overall flight usage in order to complete all of these tasks. This title also brings in AR Glide missions. AR Glide missions are available in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Complete one of them and then finish all the Gotham City Protector challenges until the next one is unlocked. AR Glide missions will appear on your map with a blue exclamation point marker. >> RANK 01 - ADVANCED GLIDING Challenge: Perform a straight 75 meter glide (grapnel accelerator not allowed). Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A Glide for 75 meters without any help from the grapnel accelerator - find a tall building and leap off of it then glide until you get this. >> RANK 02 - LONG DRIVE Challenge: Perform a vertical dive for more than 25 meters. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A While gliding, hold the crouch button to perform a vertical dive. Find a high building and then perform a vertical dive after jumping off of it. Be sure to keep holding the crouch button until you get this. >> RANK 03 - AR GLIDE DRILLS - BASIC Challenge: Complete the Basic AR Glide Drills. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: Grapnel Accelerator Takedown Find the Basic AR Glide Mission marker and then start the mission and complete all of them. The marker for them will appear on the Gotham Pioneers Bridge. >> RANK 04 - GRAPNEL ACCELERATOR TAKEDOWN Challenge: Perform one grapnel accelerator takedown. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A This one can be a bit tricky to set up. You need to find a thug that is near the ledge of a building in order to perform this type of takedown to him. After finding one, target and grapple the ledge beside him then press the jump button twice to grapnel accelerate and hold the button after the second press to perform a takedown on the thug when Batman reaches him. If you want to get this easily, go to the Final Offer vessel and use this to takedown the sniper on the high platform (bird's nest) on the ship. >> RANK 05 - CRIMEFIGHTER Challenge: Stop a Crime in Progress. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Batman will get a radio transmission for a Crime In Progress mission eventually while he is in a district. Go to the area where the crime is taking place and beat up all the thugs to complete this challenge. >> RANK 06 - SMOKE PELLET BASICS Challenge: Use the smoke pellet to set up a takedown opportunity. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Find some thugs with guns that are walking around on rooftops then toss a smoke bomb at one of them and approach the thug while the smoke is around him to get a silent takedown command - perform it to finish this challenge. Batman can go to either the Final Offer or the Steel Mill to find a group of thugs that he can get this on as well. >> RANK 07 - ASSISTED GLIDING Challenge: Perform a straight 250-meter glide (grapnel accelerator allowed). Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Since the grapnel accelerator is allowed with this challenge, just glide until you finally unlock this. Use the grapnel accelerator when Batman gets too low to the ground to stay up in the air. >> RANK 08 - HIGHEST POINT Challenge: Reach the top of the Soder Cola building in Diamond District. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A The Soder Cola building has a blue neon sign near the top of it and it's located in the Diamond District. Simply climb to the top of the building to complete this challenge. >> RANK 09 - LONG GLIDE Challenge: Perform a straight 150-meter glide (grapnel accelerator not allowed). Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Since the grapnel accelerator is not allowed in this challenge, Batman will have to use a dive to maintain his glide for longer in order to complete this. Dive by holding the crouch button then let go of the button and hold back on the left analog to rise upwards while gliding - keep doing this during a glide to stay up in the air long enough to finish this challenge. >> RANK 10 - AR GLIDE DRILLS - INTERMEDIATE Challenge: Complete the Intermediate AR Glide Drills. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: Shockwave Attack Find the marker on your map for the Intermediate AR Glide mission and then go there and complete them. >> RANK 11 - UNLEASH THE SHOCKWAVE Challenge: Knock down three enemies with a single shockwave attack. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Perform a vertical dive towards a group of three unsuspecting thugs and then hit the ground - Batman will get a command for the shockwave after hitting the ground so press the O/B button afterwards to perform the shockwave and knock down all three thugs. >> RANK 12 - LEAP OF FAITH Challenge: Perform a vertical dive of more than 50 meters. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Batman will have to find a tall building and possibly grapnel accelerate off that tall building then perform a straight vertical dive (hold crouch button) to the ground for 50 meters in order to get this. >> RANK 13 - AR GLIDE DRILLS - ADVANCED Challenge: Complete the Advanced AR Glide Drills. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Find the marker for the Advanced AR Glide missions and go there then complete them to finish this challenge. >> RANK 14 - LOW FLIGHT Challenge: Glide for 25 meters while maintaining a height of fewer than 5 meters. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Batman must glide close to the ground for this challenge - this one can take a while to get. The 5 meter limit is kind of stretched, so it's hard to tell exactly how close to the ground Batman has to be in order to get credit for this one. It's best to find a street and glide very low along that street so Batman doesn't have to worry about buildings. >> RANK 15 - GOTHAM CITY PROTECTOR Challenge: Stop a Crime in Progress in each district. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: Gotham City Protector Title Batman must stop a Crime in Progress mission per district in order to finish this challenge. The hardest two districts to finish a Crime in Progress mission in are the Gotham Pioneers Bridge and Sheldon Park. A Crime in Progress only appear on the bridge when Batman is heading to the north after completing the first Enigma tower at the beginning of the game. There is a trick to getting credit for a Crime in Progress in a district however - get a Crime in Progress in Sheldon Park and leave one armored thug standing. Lure him to the southern edge of the area under the bridge. The area should change to Pioneer Bridge. He will keep trying to run back so grapple him and eventually he'll in a good spot to give him a beatdown and it will count towards the bridge. A Crime in Progress will eventually appear in Sheldon Park if Batman keeps moving around in that district, but it's hard to get one to activate there. NOTE: When the only one left and it is Sheldon Park or the Bridge, try beating another one in the Industrial District and it should trigger the award. For some reason the Sheldon Park Enigma Data counts as part of the Industrial District, so I think this works the same. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Worst Nightmare --------------- Worst Nightmare is basically all Predator encounter challenges. Rising in rank in this mode can ONLY be done through predator challenges in the main story and during a New Game+ playthrough, so it's a good idea to start trying for this title as soon as you can. Keep in mind that there are three predator encounters that are always available during the main story and Batman can often use these encounters to get some of the more minor challenges. The predator areas that are always available in the city are: the group of thugs outside the Final Offer vessel the group of thugs outside of the Steel Mill the group of policeman on the rooftop of the GCPD >> RANK 01 - TAKEDOWN BASICS Challenge: Perform an Inverted Takedown, a Vent Takedown and a Wall Takedown. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A Perform the following takedowns in one predator encounter: Inverted Takedown - Takedown from a vantage point (gargoyle, etc). Vent Takedown - Takedown from behind a vent cover while in an air duct. Wall Takedown - Takedown from behind a weak wall (breakable with fists). The best way to do this one is in the beginning predator encounter in the first Enigma Tower. Batman will guide the player into using these specific takedowns and thugs will be set up for the takedowns in the order listed above. >> RANK 02 - SILENT TAKEDOWN Challenge: Perform three Silent Takedowns in a single Predator Encounter. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: N/A Crouch and sneak behind a thug then perform a silent takedown when the button prompt appears while standing behind one. Batman can get this easily at the Final Offer vessel, the Steel Mill and on the rooftop of the GCPD (outside the interior areas). >> RANK 03 - UNSEEN Challenge: Finish a Predator Encounter without being seen. Reward: 2500 XP Unlocks: Sonic Batarang Batman must not be seen during a predator encounter. You can perform both loud and silent takedowns, but Batman must not be actually spotted by the thugs. Unlike Rank 2's challenges, this one must be performed in one of the big predator encounters in the main story, so the earliest you can get this one is in the theater of the Final Offer vessel. >> RANK 04 - BAIT AND SWITCH Challenge: Use a Sonic Batarang to lure an enemy into a takedown. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A This one can be performed easily at the Steel Mill outside area, the Final Offer vessel outside area or the rooftop of the GCPD. Toss a sonic batarang and allow a thug to hear it and then he will come and investigate. When the thug is checking out the batarang, quickly get behind the thug and perform a silent takedown. >> RANK 05 - OLD SCHOOL Challenge: Complete a Predator room without using Detective Vision. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Batman must complete a predator encounter without turning on detective vision at all. Keep in mind that Batman will automatically turn on detective vision when walking into a smoke screen made by a smoke pellet or fire extinguisher, so do not use either of them when attempting this challenge. Batman can perform this one at the Steel Mill, Final Offer vessel or the GCPD rooftop (outside the interior areas). >> RANK 06 - TAKEDOWN VARIATION Challenge: Perform four exotic takedowns in one Predator Encounter: Vent Takedown, Explosive Gel Takedown, Corner Takedown and Hanging Ledge Takedown. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Corner Takedown - Duck and take cover against a wall (wait for button prompt) around the side of a corner and Batman will get this command when a thug walks near him. Do this one first and immediately to the jammer thug walking up the stairs. Vent Takedown - Takedown from behind a vent cover while in an air duct. Explosive Gel Takedown - Spray explosive gel on one side of a wall and have a thug walk by the OTHER side of the wall then detonate it to knock him out. If you do it perfectly, a slow motion video will show him getting knocked out as the wall actually falls on him. This does NOT have to occur for the award to count. Very important to remember as you keep track of your takedowns. Hanging Ledge Takedown - Batman must be on a platform above a thug and wait for the thug to walk by him then he will get a "silent takedown" command. This one can ONLY be done from the metallic floors just below the railings of the second floor in the bank. Skip doing this at the bank and it can't be done anywhere else. This challenge MUST be done at the Gotham City Bank. Batman will visit the bank one time during story mode and there is also an optional mission involving Deadshot (SOS Broadcast) where he will have to go to the bank also - both of them involve predator encounters. To help with setting up the takedowns, use the sonic batarang to lure thugs to a certain obstacle - Batman will likely need it for the vent and hanging ledge takedown. NOTE: Keep in mind that Batman will interrogate the last man standing, so get the takedowns early on. Also the award will trigger after the fight, but BEFORE interrogating the thug, and the game will not autosave until AFTER interrogating the thug. This gives you infinite chances to restart should you mess up. >> RANK 07 - HEAD-ON Challenge: Complete a Predator Encounter without performing any takedowns. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Complete a predator encounter by defeating all enemies with your fists. DO NOT use ground takedowns, don't use gadgets and don't grapple up to a vantage point while fighting. Use only Batman's normal attacks and knock out all enemies in the predator encounter. Batman must perform this during one of the big predator encounters found in story mode. NOTE: Beating Qing Lu on the boat in the casefile that opens up immediately after the bank will also give you this award. Just don't do any takedowns and you will receive it easily. >> RANK 08 - PERFECT VISION Challenge: Complete a Predator Encounter without using Detective Vision - and without being seen. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A This is similar to rank 5 except that Batman must also not be seen. The same rules apply. Don't use detective vision and don't use smoke pellets or fire extinguishers or Batman might turn on detective vision while in the mist. Batman must not be seen, but he can still perform both loud and silent takedowns, so long as he is not spotted by the enemy. Batman must perform this during one of the big predator encounters found in story mode. NOTE: If you're following this guide, a great place to get this is in the Steel Mill during the story mission. It is very easy to obtain here. Just make absolutely sure that you are not seen and do not use detective vision and you will get the award. Again, this game is very buggy so if you follow this guide, you should be ok. >> RANK 09 - LOUD TAKEDOWNS Challenge: Perform four loud takedowns in one Predator Encounter: Grate Takedown, Inverted Takedown, Knock-Out Smash Takedown and Ledge Takedown. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: N/A Perform the following takedowns during one predator encounter: Grate Takedown - Takedown performed while hiding in a floor grating. Inverted Takedown - Takedown from a vantage point (gargoyle, etc). Knock-Out Smash Takedown - Crouch and get behind a thug then perform a silent takedown then interrupt it by pressing the attack button for an instant loud knockout. Ledge Takedown - Hang from a ledge or railing and wait for a thug to pass by up above then perform the ledge takedown. Batman must perform these during one of the big predator encounters found in story mode. Keep in mind that Batman can use a sonic batarang to lure thugs toward a certain area if needed. NOTE: This can easily be done when facing Deadshot in the bank. You do not have to worry about being unseen. >> RANK 10 - APEX PREDATOR Challenge: Complete a Predator Encounter with a High threat level or higher without being seen. Reward: 5000 XP Unlocks: Sonic Shock Batarang This challenge requires enemies such as snipers or mine layer thugs to be in the area. Use any type of takedowns to finish off the whole room of thugs and make sure that none of them see Batman. Batman can achieve this challenge while performing the rank 9 challenge if you're not seen. Batman must perform this during one of the big predator encounters found in story mode. NOTE: This can easily be done in the Hotel Lobby during the story mode. Just be careful and make sure you're not seen. Believe me I was worried the whole time that it wouldn't trigger and autosave afterwards but it gave it to me. >> RANK 11 - SONIC SHOCK BATARANG Challenge: Take out an enemy with the Sonic Shock Batarang. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Immediately after getting Rank 10 in the Hotel Lobby enter the security room to get the Shock Gloves (it'll give you access to the next room), then leave the Hotel and go to the nearby GCPD rooftop and get this one easily. >> RANK 12 - ALWAYS DIFFERENT Challenge: Complete a Predator Encounter with a High threat level or above by performing at least five different takedowns. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Perform any five different takedowns listed thus far during a high threat level predator encounter. The group of thugs must include a sniper or mine layers to have a high threat level. NOTE: Do this during the Black Mask side mission in the church. Although the menu shows a counter that says 0/5, this number will not change as you do different takedowns. Don't be fooled by this retardation. You can get the award here. The easiest ones to do are Silent Takedown, Ground Takedown, Inverted Takedown, Vent Takedown, and Grate Takedown. The award triggers after the battle so make absolutely sure you get all five because you don't want it to autosave if you don't. >> RANK 13 - SMOKE MASTER Challenge: Eliminate three enemies within the duration of one Smoke Pellet. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A Batman can perform this one at the Steel Mill, Final Offer vessel or the GCPD rooftop (outside the interior areas). A smoke pellet must be tossed at a group of three thugs and Batman must run up and takedown each one quickly before the smoke screen goes away. The best way to do this is to get the attention of a thug in one of the predator areas then allow the thugs to group and toss a smoke pellet then run up and perform knock-out smash takedowns to them all. I'd recommend doing this at the Steel Mill entrance. Use a knockout smash to takedown the sniper then allow the thugs below to group up and toss a smoke pellet then rush into the smoke and use knockout smash takedowns to finish them all off before the smoke clears. NOTE: Do this on on the roof of the GCPD. You will have longer smoke duration after beating Black Mask in the church. Use a combination of Sonic Batarangs and the Remote Claw to get three of the cops together and throw a smoke pellet in the middle of them. Then use Silent Takedowns followed by Knockout Smashes to KO all three. >> RANK 14 - THREE WITH A SINGLE BLOW Challenge: Eliminate three enemies using a propane tank. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: N/A A great spot to get this is in the Hotel Swimming Pool Predator Room. Immediately grapple to the gargoyle above you then to the one to the left. There are two thugs talking and one walking away from a propane tank. Throw a Sonic Batarang near the propane tank. The lone thug will inspect it. Do a Silent Takedown-Knockout Smash then grapple back up to the same gargoyle. Several thugs will come running. They can be unpredictable but eventually four of them should come all at once. Use the multi Batarang to knock three down then Remote Claw the fourth into the propane tank. Remember, do not try to target the propane tank first: it does not work. It may take several tries to get this but it is the easiest way I've found. If it doesn't work just restart. Lots of players say to use the Pioneer Bridge, but this can be done sooner and much more easily. >> RANK 15 - DOUBLE FALL Challenge: Pull two enemies over a railing at the same time using advanced gadget techniques. Reward: 15000 XP Unlocks: Worst Nightmare Title This is another easy one when done in the right room. Do this in the second Predator Room on the bridge, where you rescue the hostages in the train car. Upon entering, look to the left for a Remote Claw grapple. Set it up and stand on the line. Turn around and while facing the way you entered, there is a ladder and platform to the right. While not standing too close to the ladder, throw a Sonic Batarang at the very top of the ladder, just at the edge of the platform. One of the two talking thugs on the opposite ledge will hear it and head towards it. Target the one that stays behind, then when the second one reaches the top of the ladder, pull the trigger. Easy peasy.
