A second PC release was released digitally on Steam which featured the same four games, plus a couple of others. The games only have little adjustments from their Dreamcast originals so the walkthroughs will still be usable for the most part. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Sonic Adventure --------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: It appears that this is not the original Dreamcast game, but rather a port of the GameCube version, Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, which contained upscaled and changed graphics. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Controls ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Gameplay] LEFT STICK..................Walk/Run D-PAD.......................Run LT/RT/LB/RB.................Rotate camera RIGHT SRICK.................Look around A...........................Jump B/X...........................Action START.........................Pause [Menus] LEFT STICK....................Make selection D-PAD.........................Make selection A.............................Confirm B.............................Back ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Course Of The Adventure ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The main game of Sonic Adventure begins from the Adventure Mode. Adventure Mode is devided into two fields. In the Adventure Field, you undertake challenges and experience events; in the Action Stages, each character accomplishes their set tasks. EVENT->ADVENTURE FIELD->ACTION STAGE ENTERANCE->ACTION STAGE->EVENT ->ADVENTURE FIELD->ACTION STAGE ENTERANCE would be an order of whowing how things work. There are different storylines and endings for each character. If you couldn't solve a mystery for one of the characters, try playing the other characters' stories which may give you some hints. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Events ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When you reach your destination or meet a character in the Adventure Field, an event may unfold. These events may will play automaticall- y, so no input from you is required. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Play Characters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When you first start playing, you can only choose Sonic as a charac- ter, but as the story progresses, you will meet other characters and you can choose them to play their story on the Character Select men- u. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Battling A Boss ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In some events, a "boss" will appear in the field whom you must overcome. When the boss' life gauge falls to empty, victory is yours and the story continues. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Action Stages ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Each character has different tasks (shown at the beginning of that stage) that must be completed to pass the Action Stage. Each stage has three levels of tasks - A, B and C - that must be accomplished, starting with level C. Once you get through them, you can move free- ly through the Action Stage. HINT: Having at least one Ring will protect you from damage you might recive during Action Stages or when fighting Bosses. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Characters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sonic the Hedgehog: --------------------------- He's the world's fastest, hypersonic hedgehog! With a strong love of freedom, the only thing Sonic hates is oppression. Despite his short temper, deep down he's a really nice guy who is 100% committed to helping whenever he can. Miles "Tails" Prower: --------------------------- This sweet-natured fox is a natural born mechanic with the unique ability to fly using his two tails. A long time friend and admirer of Sonic, Tails devoted himself to tinkering in his workshop while Sonic was away on his journey. Knuckles the Echidna: --------------------------- Knuckles is one powerful and wild anteater. Although blessed with an honest, straight-up personality, he often lacks flexibility. With his powerful arms, he can glide through the air and land some serious punches. Amy Rose: --------------------------- Always bright and cheerful, Amy is a self-appointed girlfriend of Sonic. Possesing a strong competetive nature, she is second to none when in control of her Piko Pike Hammer. E-102 Gamma --------------------------- Created by Dr. Eggman, E-102 Gamma is an E-100 series gunner robot. Shortly after his creation, Gamma must pass a test that will allow him to join an elite team of robots. Big the Cat --------------------------- This giant cat is one laid-back and easy-going fellow who loves fishing more than anything. Big lives a tranquil life in a serene part of the Mystic Ruins jungle with his buddy, Froggy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Crazy Taxi --------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Controls ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Gameplay] NOTE: Control can be set to one of two different types in the OPTIONS Menu. To pick them up, you must park the taxi within the circle that they are standing in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drive To The Destination ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once the customer gets into the taxi, the Directional Arrow will be displayed at the top centre, and the set time limit will appear above the passenger's head. Keep as many Pink Hearts as you can, as they boost the View Rating. During boss battles, Ulala's View Rating is converted into Gold Stars that work exactly the same as the Pink Hearts. If all Gold Stars are lost though, the battle is lost and the current stage section must be restarted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rescuing Hostages And Vapourising Enemies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Only Ulala can rescue the hostages that are forced to dance by the Rhythm Rouges. If her report is successful by out-dancing and out- shooting the opponent, the hostages will be freed! During a Shooting Battle, Ulala's microphone changes into a ray gun. If she times it correctly, she can eliminate enemies by firing the Chu Beam and rescue hostages by firing the Hey Beam. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Instrument Battle ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At certain stages of the game, Ulala will take control of of a musical instrument and will go head-to-head with another character in a rhythm battle. The enemy will sing a line from the song and perform a few moves. Ulala's team will reply with their own song, but the dance steps must be entered in the same order to counter their act. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two-Player Co-Op Modes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two players can work together to move Ulala in Co-Op Story Mode and Co-Op Ulala's Dance.
