1. LEVEL 10 WEAPON UNLOCKING

General Requirements:
* Must be playing on Hard Difficulty.
* Character must already have Level 9 weapon.
* Character must be playing on native kingdom unless otherwise noted.
* Can be obtained in both Musou Mode and Free Mode unless otherwise noted.

[ SHU ]


Liu Bei Xuan De
Attack = +52
Stage = Battle of Ru Nan
Method = Defeat Li Dian before Xiahou Yuan appears (approximately 3:00 into
the stage), defeat Xiahou Yuan before Guan Yu appears (approximately 5:00
into the stage), meet with Zhao Yun, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu in order, defeat
all enemy generals in any order -> Liu Bei earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = My order was Li Dian, Xiahou Yuan, Yu Jin, Xu Chu, Xiahou
Dun, Zhang He, Yue Jin.

Guan Yu Yun Chang
Attack = +57
Stage = Battle of Fan Castle
Method = After all ally generals defect (except for Guan Ping and Zhou
Cang), defeat all three Wu back-up troop generals in any order -> Guan Yu
earns Lv10 weapon message.

Zhang Fei Yi De
Attack = +58
Stage = Battle of Chang Ban
Method = Defeat Xiahou Dun, defeat Xiahou En and Xiahou De to keep Zhao Yun
alive, accompany Liu Bei down the path and cross the bridge after him, Zhang
Fei bridge yell event with enemies on or near the bridge, Ah Do is left in
the castle message, go rescue Ah Do while riding on a horse, female soldier
hand over Ah Do event, defeat Xiahou Yuan, with Zhao Yun still alive ->
Zhang Fei earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Zhang Fei bridge yell event is triggered by having Liu Bei
cross the bridge first, and when Zhang Fei stands on the bridge and there
are enemies either on or near the bridge, the event will happen.

Zhao Yun Zi Long
Attack = +55
Stage = Battle of Bo Wang Po
Method = According to Zhuge Liang's instructions, first lead Xiahou Dun to
the designated fire attack spot in the middle path of the map left area,
fire attack successful event, defeat Xiahou Dun, Han Hao attack message,
Zhuge Liang next instruction message, lead Han Hao to the designated ambush
spot in the top path of the map left area, Guan Ping ambush troop appear,
defeat Han Hao, Zhuge Liang next instruction message, lead Yu Jin to the
designated ambush spot on the upper bridge, Guan Yu ambush troop appear,
defeat Yu Jin, Zhuge Liang order Zhang Fei fire attack on enemy food supply,
fire attack successful, clear the path of enemies for Zhuge Liang to enter
the enemy castle, Zhuge Liang meet Cao Cao event -> Zhao Yun earns Lv10
weapon message.
Muni Comment = If after you have cleared all enemy generals and soldiers
except Cao Cao, and Zhuge Liang simply stands there right in front of the
enemy castle but won't enter, you can position your horse sideways and push
Zhuge Liang into the castle. This only works if you are riding a horse.
You can also lead Cao Cao to follow you out of the castle to meet with Zhuge
Liang.

Ma Chao Meng Qi
Attack = +57
Stage = Campaign for Cheng Du
Method = Reach the left side of the map to trigger the enemy back-up troops
appearance, defeat enemy back-up troop generals Pang De and Ma Dai -> Ma
Chao earns Lv10 weapon message.
Note = This weapon can only be earned in Musou Mode.
If you play Free Mode, the back-up troop generals will be Ma Chao and Ma
Dai.
This weapon can not be earned on your first Shu Musou Mode game. You need to
have already unlocked Ma Chao as a playable character previously.

Huang Zhong Han Sheng
Attack = +54
Stage = Battle of Jian Ye
Method = Before defeating the real Sun Jian, defeat Huang Gai or Taishi Ci
or Zhou Tai, next generation Suns attack event, defeat Sun Ce Sun Quan and
Sun Shang Xiang in any order -> Huang Zhong earns Lv10 weapon message.

Wei Yan Wen Chang
Attack = +57
Stage = Campaign for Jing
Method = Defeat enemy ambush troop general Xing Dao Rong, defeat Liu Du and
Liu Xian, do not defeat Jin Xuan (decline duel), defeat Han Xuan's
sub-general Yang Ling, Huang Zhong exit castle and attack message, defeat
Huang Zhong, Wei Yan and Huang Zhong defect event -> Wei Yan earns Lv10
weapon message.
Muni Comment = You need to defeat Huang Zhong before the enemy back-up
troops appear, and if you defeat Jin Xuan, enemy back-up troops will appear,
that is why you need to spare him when he challenges you to a duel.

Huang Yue Ying
Attack = +53
Stage = Nan Man Campaign
Method = Defeat all enemy generals except Wu Tu Gu (and the defected Dong Tu
Na and Ah Huei Nan), defeat Zhu Rong in a duel, defeat Meng Huo 6 times
(including 1 duel), Meng Huo appears for the 7th time in his base, approach
Wu Tu Gu, Zhuge Liang says he has a strategy, battle Wu Tu Gu but don't
defeat him, Zhuge Liang's fire arrow attack to deal with the bamboo armored
enemy soldiers event -> Yue Ying earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = The biggest problem will be Zhuge Liang dying when you are
away, one way to increase his chance of survival is to bring with you your
strongest bodyguard team, and leave them with Zhuge Liang whenever you have
to leave his side.
Whenever Zhuge Liang is not too badly surrounded, venture away to eliminate
enemy entry points, this will decrease the amount of enemy soldiers on the
battlefield later.
If you continue to stay beside Zhuge Liang and keep killing enemy soldiers,
you will eventually reach the 1000 KO count. When you reach the 1000 KO
count, Zhuge Liang will receive a sudden morale boost and become less likely
to be defeated. It will become safer to leave his side after that. This is
not necessary however, I left his side with only a 400 KO count.
A convenient way to knock enemies off elephants is to ride on the Jue Ying
Matchless Shadow Horse and press the R3 button to do a self declaration
yell.

Jiang Wei Bo Yue
Attack = +55
Stage = Battle of Tian Shui
Method = Pass through the two gates of the top castle (Yi Castle) both from
the outside, defeat Cao Ren, defeat Wang Lang, defeat the rest of the enemy
generals on the map to prolong Zhuge Liang's survival, pass through the two
gates of the right castle (Tian Shui Castle) both from the outside, defeat
Yin Shang, defeat Liang Xu -> Jiang Wei earns Lv10 weapon message.
Note = This weapon can only be earned in Musou Mode.
This weapon can not be earned on your first Shu Musou Mode game. You need to
have already unlocked Jiang Wei as a playable character previously.
Muni Comment = Make sure to enter all four gates of the two castles from the
outside.
I recommend bringing your best bodyguard team into the battle, and leave
them with Zhuge Liang, this will increase Zhuge Liang's chance of survival.

Pang Tong Shi Yuan
Attack = +51
Stage = Battle of Luo Castle
Method = First run up to one of the gates of the top left castle, castle
gates not opening message, defeat Liu Kuei or Zhang Yi, Pang Tong enrages
Zhang Ren messages, Zhang Ren attack message, lead Zhang Ren across the
Northern verticle bridge (Jing Yen Bridge), bomb preparation complete
message, stand near the bridge, bridge destruction event, Zhang Ren starts
to retreat message, defeat Zhang Ren -> Pang Tong earns Lv10 weapon message.

Zhuge Liang Kong Ming
Attack = +50
Stage = Battle of Wu Zhang Plains
Method = First clear Battle of Jie Ting, then choose Battle of Wu Zhang
Plains.
Go the left path and approach Zhang He, consecutive arrow vehicle event,
defeat Zhang He, approach enemy base, enrage Sima Yi event, Supply Troop
appearance message, backtrack and defeat Xiahou Dun to protect the Supply
Troop, Supply Troop broke through battle lines and reached ally base message
(approximately 2 minutes after appearance message) -> Zhuge Liang earns Lv10
weapon message.
Note = This weapon can only be earned in Musou Mode.
If you don't clear Battle of Jie Ting first, there will be no Supply Troop
appearance.

Cao Cao Meng De
Attack = +56
Stage = Battle of Chi Bi
Method = Approach Pang Tong to see through his trick, then defeat Zhuge
Liang to stop his wind praying, then defeat Lu Meng and Gan Ning before
Huang Gai appears, then after Huang Gai appears defeat him before he reaches
ally ships to prevent his fire attack -> Cao Cao earns Lv10 weapon message.

Xiahou Dun Yuan Rang
Attack = +56
Stage = Battle of Xia Pi
Method = After the Xiahou Dun shot by an arrow event, defeat Diao Chan ->
Xiahou Dun earns Lv10 weapon message.

Xiahou Yuan Miao Cai
Attack = +55
Stage = Battle of Mount Ding Jun
Method = Immediately kill the exchanging hostage Chen Shi, then head
directly to Huang Zhong, defeat Huang Zhong -> earns Lv10 weapon message.

Dian Wei
Attack = +58
Stage = Battle of Wan Castle
Method = Defeat Hu Che Er, deplete around half of Zhang Xiu's HP and he'll
retreat, join with Cao Cao, Cao Cao conversation with Dian Wei event, castle
gate close, clear the map of enemies for Cao Cao to advance, Cao Cao reaches
the dead end, two fire blocking exit messages, Xu Chu break through wall
event -> Dian Wei earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = You can choose to clear the map of enemies before or after
joining with Cao Cao.
If you do it before, Cao Cao will advance faster.
If you do it after, you will have Cao Cao to fight by your side.
Either way is fine.

Xu Chu Zhong Kang
Attack = +59
Stage = Battle of Tong Gate
Method = Defeat Pang De and Ma Dai in any order, don't fight any of Han
Sui's troops, wait for the Cao Cao meet with Han Sui event, Cao Cao orders
to lower Han Sui's morale message, defeat Han Sui's sub-generals and
soldiers to lower his morale, Han Sui defect message, Shu troops attack
message -> Xu Chu earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = The enticing Han Sui to defect sequence of messages will
begin 7:00 into the battle, and the Cao Cao meet with Han Sui event
approximately 1 minute later. You can use this time to defeat other enemy
generals on the map to your pleasure as long as you don't touch any of Han
Sui's troops.

Zhang Liao Wen Yuan
Attack = +56
Stage = Battle of Hu Lao Gate
Side = Lu Bu Scenario
Method = First choose Battle of Si Shui Gate, defeat Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and
Sun Jian and clear the stage, then choose Battle of Hu Lao Gate.
Don't kill any enemy generals until after the enemy fire attack, run
directly toward Liu Bei, Cao Cao, or Sun Jian, enemy fire attack event,
defeat Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Jian in any order -> Zhang Liao earns Lv10
weapon message.
Note = This weapon can only be earned in Musou Mode.
If you play Free Mode, there will be no enemy fire attack.

Xu Huang Gong Ming
Attack = +57
Stage = Battle of Guan Du
Method = Defeat Yen Liang and Wen Chou, Yuan Shao troop appear, Guan Yu
meets Liu Bei and both retreat, let the two top forts fall, Cao Cao retreat
in bottom castle (Guan Du Castle), bottom castle gates close, wait for
enemies to reach the bottom castle, enemy ramming vehicles appear event,
enemy food supply discovery message (Wu Chao), Cao Cao attack toward enemy
food supply, follow Cao Cao to guard him and clear the path for him, enter
enemy food supply fort after Cao Cao enters enemy food supply fort, defeat
Chun Yu Qiong, enemy back-up troop Lu Wei Kuan appear near enemy food supply
fort, after bottom castle wall falls defeat Lu Wei Kuan, enemy food supply
fort falls event, Zhang He defects to Wei message -> Xu Huang earns Lv10
weapon message.
Muni Comment = If Cao Cao falls off his horse, run a certain distance away
from him and he'll be on his horse again.

Cao Ren Zi Xiao
Attack = +56
Stage = Seige at Fan Castle
Method = Destroy all enemy castle attacking vehicles without the castle
being compromised, Lu Meng exits enemy castle and attacks, defeat Lu Meng ->
Cao Ren earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Time will be extremely tight for this weapon, this is the
best order to destroy the four castle attacking vehicles.
Equipping a saddle is of course recommended.
Immediately run to the South wall, there will be a cloud ladder vehicle
moving towards the West gate, destroy the vehicle as quickly as possible.
Then immediately run to the East wall, there will be a cloud ladder vehicle
approaching from the North, destroy the vehicle as quickly as possible.
Then run to the stone toss vehicle at the South gate, destroy that.
Then run to the stone toss vehicle at the North gate, destroy that.
Do not stop to fight enemy generals in between, there isn't enough time.
Do not try to destroy stone toss vehicles against the order I described just
because it happens to be near by, there isn't enough time.
If you take too long before destroying the stone toss vehicles, additional
cloud ladder vehicles will appear, if that happens, go for the cloud ladder
vehicles first, then return to destroy the stone toss vehicle even if you
are already beside the stone toss vehicle. Destroying cloud ladder vehicles
takes precedence.

Zhang He Jun Yi
Attack = +52
Stage = Battle of Jie Ting
Method = Defeat Ma Su's three sub-generals, defeat Ma Su, defeat Zhao Yun
Wei Yan and Yue Ying -> Zhang He earns Lv10 weapon message.

Zhen Ji
Attack = +51
Stage = Battle of Chang Ban
Method = Defeat Zhao Yun in a duel, Zhang Fei bridge yell event, defeat
Zhang Fei in a duel, enemy navy arrival event, defeat Mi Zhu, Liu Qi, and
Guan Yu to prevent Liu Bei from escaping, defeat Zhuge Liang -> Zhen Ji
earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Make sure to approach Zhang Fei after Liu Bei has already
crossed the bridge, otherwise the Zhang Fei bridge yell event will not
happen, and Zhang Fei will not challenge you to a duel.

Sima Yi Zhong Da
Attack = +50
Stage = Battle of Wu Zhang Plains
Method = Defeat Zhang Yi and Wei Yan, defeat Guan Xing and Ma Chao, Zhuge
Liang fake death event, Wei full attack message -> Sima Yi earns Lv10 weapon
message.

Sun Jian Wen Tai
Attack = +54
Stage = The Imperial Seal
Method = Before breaking 50 wooden boxes, defeat Li Jue, Zhang Liao, Diao
Chan, and Lu Bu in any order -> Sun Jian earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Top right area = 28 wooden boxes.
Top left area = 10 wooden boxes.
Bottom right area = 36 wooden boxes.
Bottom left area = 25 wooden boxes.

Huang Gai Gong Fu
Attack = +56
Stage = Battle of Chi Bi
Method = Eliminate all enemy entry points before the fire attack, then
defeat Cao Ren, Cao Hong, and Cao Pi in any order -> Huang Gai earns Lv10
weapon message.

Sun Ren Shang Xiang
Attack = +51
Stage = Race for Nan Territory
Method = Defeat Wang Lang and enter the castle, Zhou Yu shot by arrow event,
wait a while for the Cao Ren full attack message, defeat Cao Ren -> Sun
Shang Xiang earns Lv10 weapon message.

Sun Quan Zhong Mou
Attack = +53
Stage = Battle of He Fei
Method = Defeat Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan, after the bridge destruction
event and Sun Jian isolated message defeat Li Dian, Sun Jian jump over
broken bridge event, Zhang Liao surprise attack appearance event, defeat
Zhang Liao -> Sun Quan earns Lv10 weapon message.

Sun Ce Bo Fu
Attack = +54
Stage = Unification of Jiang Dong
Method = Defeat Liang Gang, wait for Zhou Yu to be defeated and the map top
ally food supply fort to fall (around 10 minutes), then defeat Yue Jiu and
Chen Ji, defeat Yuan Shu, go the bottom left path and meet with Ji Ling, Liu
Xun orders attack on ally food supply fort and starts moving towards the
ally food supply fort, defeat Li Feng before Liu Xun enters the ally food
supply fort -> Sun Ce earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Don't stop to fight Ji Ling, there isn't enough time, just
run past him and head straight for Li Feng in the ally food supply fort.
Riding on a horse is recommended.

Zhou Yu Gong Jing
Attack = +54
Stage = Seige at Fan Castle
Method = 10:20.00 into the battle, the enemy Supply Team will appear at the
map top right corner and move toward the castle right entrance, defeat the
Supply Team Captain before the Supply Team reaches the castle -> Zhou Yu
earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = The biggest problem will be Lu Meng dying when you are away,
one way to increase his chance of survival is to bring with you your
strongest bodyguard team, and leave them with Lu Meng when you have to leave
his side.

Taishi Ci Zi Yi
Attack = +56
Stage = Campaign for Wu Territory
Method = Once you cross the bridge in front of you, a message will appear
saying Yu Mi is retreating towards the Niu Zhu Fort, catch up with him
before the fort gate closes behind him, you will need a horse saddle
equipped, defeat Yu Mi and Zhang Ying before they retreat -> Taishi Ci earns
Lv10 weapon message.

Lu Xun Bo Yen
Attack = +52
Stage = Battle of Yi Ling
Method = Protect and keep Zhu Ran alive until he successfully triggers the
fire attack, enter stone maze, pass through stone maze within 3:00 after
entering it -> Lu Xun earns Lv10 weapon message.

Lu Meng Zi Ming
Attack = +54
Stage = Battle of Mai Castle
Method = Let Liao Hua escape to bring back-up troops, enter castle from the
North and defeat Jiang Wei's sub-general Wan Fu, eliminate castle top left
entry point and bottom left entry point, Liao Hua reappears with back-up
troop Liu Feng, defeat Liao Hua and Liu Feng, defeat Guan Ping, Guan Yu
decides to abandon castle event, enemy entry point appears at the top of
map, eliminate that map top entry point before Guan Yu reaches it, enemy
entry point appears at the bottom of map, eliminate that map bottom entry
point before Guan Yu reaches it, Guan Yu full attack message, return to the
castle, castle gates close, enemy second wave back-up troops appear within
castle, Zhang Fei appearance, defeat all enemy generals on the map except
Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, defeat Zhang Fei -> Lu Meng earns Lv10 weapon
message.
Muni Comment = You need to defeat all enemy sub-generals also, namely Wan
Fu, Meng Da, and Zhang Bao. I started out without defeating enemy
sub-generals, and I did not get the weapon.
Defeat 2 enemy generals within the castle and the Guan Yu abandon castle
event will be triggered, so don't defeat extra enemy generals in the castle
against the order listed above. If Jiang Wei challenges you to a duel the
first time you meet him, decline.
The castle gates will close if after Guan Yu abandons the castle, you are
inside the castle and he isn't.
After the castle gates close, defeat the enemy second wave back-up troop
generals in the castle (Guan Suo and Jian Yong) and the gates will open
again.

Gan Ning Xing Ba
Attack = +56
Stage = Battle of Xia Kou
Method = Defeat Su Fei and Chen Shen, wait for Zhou Yu to tell you about gun
powder on Huang Zu's Northern ship, burining gun powder pot appears on the
ship, go near the gun powder pot, gun powder pot discovery message, destroy
the burning pot on Huang Zu's Northern ship, then defeat all enemy generals
on the map (Chen Jiu, Deng Long, Zhang Hu, Cai Mao) before Huang Zu's
Northern ship and Southern ship connects, Huang Zu's two ships connect and
Huang Zu's Southern ship starts burning (around 3 minutes after destroying
the gun powder pot), with Ling Cao and Ling Tong alive -> Gan Ning earns
Lv10 weapon message.
Note = In Free Mode, Gan Ning will be in the place of Chen Shen, so defeat
Gan Ning in the place of Chen Shen.

Zhou Tai You Ping
Attack = +55
Stage = Nan Man Campaign
Method = Go down the right path, defeat Wu Tu Gu and enter enemy base before
Dong Tu Na and Ah Huei Nan defects, Meng Huo appears in his base -> Zhou Tai
earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Equipping a horse saddle is recommended.

Da Qiao
Attack = +50
Stage = Battle of Xu Chang
Method = Defeat Deng Ai, Hu Zhi, and Dian Wei -> Da Qiao earns Lv10 weapon
message.

Xiao Qiao
Attack = +50
Stage = Battle of Cheng Du
Method = Enter the top castle and defeat Ma Su, then defeat forest ambush
troop generals Guan Ping and Guan Yu, all before triggering Ma Chao's
back-up troop appearance -> Xiao Qiao earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = Ma Chao's back-up troop appearance will be triggered if the
player reaches the left edge of the map.

Lu Bu Feng Xian
Attack = +60
Stage = Lu Bu's Revolt
Method = Clear the entire stage of enemies, including enemy ambush troops
and back-up troops, personally defeating enemy generals and sub-generals,
leaving only Dong Zhuo alive -> Lu Bu earns Lv10 weapon message.
Muni Comment = If after only Dong Zhuo is alive on the map, the weapon
didn't appear, run around the map a little, there are still ambush troops
you didn't run into.

Dian Chan
Attack = +51
Stage = Battle of Si Shui Gate
Method = Don't defeat any enemy generals, let the enemy Message Delivery
Team successfully deliver the message, wait until Hua Xiong is defeated,
then defeat any two out of Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Jian -> Dian Chan earns
Lv10 weapon message.

Dong Zhuo Zhong Ying
Attack = +57
Stage = Lu Bu's Revolt
Method = Clear the entire stage of enemies, personally defeating enemy
generals, leaving only Lu Bu alive -> Dong Zhuo earns Lv10 weapon message.

Yuan Shao Ben Chu
Attack = +53
Stage = Battle of Guan Du
Method = Head for the bottom castle (Guan Du Castle), ally ramming vehicle
appearance, protect the ramming vehicle until the castle wall falls -> Yuan
Shao earns Lv10 weapon message.

Zhang Jiao
Attack = +52
Stage = Yellow Turban Rebellion
Method = Defeat all enemy generals and sub-generals, lastly defeat He Jin,
Dong Zhuo troops appear, defeat Hua Xiong, with Zhang Liang and Zhang Bao
alive -> Zhang Jiao earns Lv10 weapon message.

Meng Huo
Attack = +58
Stage = Battle of Cheng Du
Method = Defeat all playable enemy characters on the stage (Zhao Yun, Ma
Chao, Yue Ying, Jiang Wei, Zhuge Liang, Guan Yu) -> Meng Huo earns Lv10
weapon message.
Muni Comment = Guan Yu will appear as ambush troop general in the Mian Zhu
Forest.
Ma Chao will appear as back-up troop general within the top middle castle.

Zhu Rong
Attack = +53
Stage = Battle of Xu Chang
Method = Defeat Man Chong, Cloud Ladder Vehicle appearance, defeat Cao Hong
and enemy soldiers in that area to protect the Cloud Ladder Vehicle until it
is successfully set up, defeat Xiahou Dun, defeat Cao Zhang -> Zhu Rong
earns Lv10 weapon message.

Method = Defeat Fan Chou and take over the enemy food supply fort, defeat
