This FAQ will contain information on the Sixth House Cult in Morrowind. The Sixth House is also referred to as House Dagoth. It will contain the locations of Dagoth Ur's Sleepers, the location of all the Sixth House Bases throughout Morrowind, the names and locations of all the Dagoths in the game, in-depth information about the Ash Vampires and a short history briefing on the leader of House Dagoth, Dagoth Ur. I decided to make a Sixth House FAQ because I realized that other than the message boards, there wasn't anywhere to find info on the Sixth House. You may think theres no point in knowing about the Sixth House, but there are some advantages such as reputation points for freeing Sleepers (see Section 3) and the Ash Vampires have some great magical items (see Section 6). If you have any questions or comments regarding this FAQ or other Morrowind related things, please send me an email. You can find my email address in the Contact Info section below (Section 8). I may be able to answer your Morrowind questions but for a quicker answer, you may want to try asking on the Morrowind Board at GameFAQs.com, you can find some cool people there who are willing to help. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the FAQ! ============================================================================== Section 2: FAQ Version History ============================================================================== I'll keep a track of the FAQ version history in this section. I'll also be making notes to aware you of upcoming updates or possible updates. So be sure to look for version notes after each version update. 3-04-04 V1.0: Original submission date and release of my FAQ 3-12-04 V1.2: Added the "Version History" section. Fixed some minor spelling errors. Added a few minor things here and there. Revised "Legal Info" section to allow IGN to use this FAQ. Added/corrected a few things in the Credit/Thanks section. V1.2 *Note* Look for a possible update on my "Dagoth Ur" section (Section 7) sometime in the near(er) future 3-13-04 V1.4: Added Dagoth Ur's stats, fixed/updated a few minor things, added some more description/detail to the Sixth House Bases (Section 4) and added a little more description about the Sleepers (Section 3). ============================================================================== Section 3: Sleepers ============================================================================== Sleepers are the people in certain cities/areas that speak of Dagoth Ur and his resurrection and of Red Mountain. Once you get to a certain point in the main quest, the Sleepers will open a dialogue box with you when you walk by them. They will say some stuff about Dagoth Ur awaking and that he wants to ally with you and that he wants you to travel to Red Mountain and stuff like that. There are very few Sleepers and they are quite sporadically placed throughout Vvardenfell. Here is a list of all the Sleepers and their locations in Vvardenfell. Also, be sure to read the note at the end of this section. Alvura Othrenim-Vivec, Arena Waistworks Assi Serimilk-Maar Gan Daynasa Telandas-Arano Plantation Dralas Gilu-Pelagiad Dravasa Andrethi-Ald-Ruhn(His house) Endris Dilmyn-Khuul(His shack) Eralane Hledas-Vivec, St. Olms, North-One Llandras Belaal-Balmora Neldis Llervu-Suran Nelmil Hler-Vivec, Redoran Waistworks Rararyn Radarys-Balmora Relur Faryon-Vivec, Hlaalu Canalworks Vireveri Darethran-Ald Velothi Vivyne Andrano-Vivec, St. Delyn Waistworks *Note* After completing the main quest and destroying Dagoth Ur and the Heart of Lorkhan, talking to the Sleepers will "free" them from Dagoth Ur's command and you will receive 1 Reputation point for every Sleeper that you talk to after completing the main quest. And that is basically the point of me putting the Sleeper locations in my FAQ in the first place :) ============================================================================== Section 4: Sixth House Bases ============================================================================== Sixth House Bases are places where the Sixth House Cultists worship Dagoth Ur. They are scattered all throughtout Vvardenfell. The creatures in the bases can consist of Ash Slaves, Ash Ghouls, Ash Zombies, Ascended Sleepers and Ash Vampires. The bases are usually caves that are very dark and can consist of any of the above mentioned creatures and also Corprus creatures. Corprus creatures consist of Corprus Stalkers which are skinny, grayish creatures which limp around and make an annoying moaning-like noise and Lame Corprus which look like huge blobs of deformed flesh. The bases are usually full of red candles and ash statues and usually have a shrine located somewhere near the end of the cave for worshipping and some contain Sixth House Bells, complete with Sixth House Bell Hammer and all. They usually also have troughs which sometimes contain Corprus meat hunk (small, medium, and large) and can also contain things such as potions, repair hammers and sometimes even cool weapons and armor. Some bases can also contain things such as legendary weapons, Daedric armor pieces, and various other cool things. Here is a list of the names and locations of every Sixth House base in the game. Ainab - Southwest of Rotheran Abinabi - South of the Urshilaku Camp Assemanu - Island west of the Hlaalu Compound of Vivec Bensami - Northeast of Kogoruhn Hanarai Assutlanipal's Home in Ald'ruhn Hassour - Southwestern end of the Foyada Mamaea (One that leads to Ghostgate) Ilunibi - North of Gnaar Mok (Main Quest) Mamaea - Located north of the Stronghold Berandas Maran-Adon - South of the Cavern of the Incarnate Missamsi - Northeast of Moonmoth Legion Fort Piran - Northwest of Mount Kand Rissun - East of Bal Fell Salmantu - South of Sadrith Mora Sanit - West-southwest of the Ahemmusa Camp Sennananit - North of Hlormaren Sharapli - East of Ghostgate Subdun - Southwest of Berandas and south of Gnisis *Note* The creatures I was talking about in these bases are, for the most part, random spawning. Most, if not all, of the Ash creatures and Ascended Sleepers are random spawning. I also think that the Corprus creatures are random spawning. The only creatures that aren't random are the Dagoth's that are in some of the bases. *Note* Not all of these bases contain a Dagoth; some have none and some have more than 1. See the next section (Section 5) for Dagoth locations. ============================================================================== Section 5: Dagoths ============================================================================== Dagoth Velos - Yakin, Shrine Dagoth Ganel - Falasmaryon, Lower Level Dagoth Mulyn - Falasmaryon, sewers *Dagoth Araynys* - Mamaea, Sanctum of Black Hope Dagoth Baler - Kogoruhn, Hall of the Watchful Touch Dagoth Daynil - Kogoruhn, Charma's Breath Dagoth Delnus - Kogoruhn, Hall of Phisto Dagoth Drals - Dagoth Ur, Inner Facility Dagoth Draven - Subdun, Shrine Dagoth Elam - Kogoruhn, Bleeding Heart *Dagoth Endus* - Endusal, Kagrenac's Study Dagoth Fals - Tureynulal, Eye of Duggan Dagoth Fandril - Tureynulal, Bladder of Clovis Dagoth Felmis - Vemynal, Hall of Torque Dagoth Fervas - Kogoruhn, Charma's Breath Dagoth Fovon - Hassour, Shrine Dagoth Galmis - Tureynulal, Eye of Thom Wye Dagoth Garel - Vemynal, Outer Fortress Dagoth Gares - Ilunibi, Soul's Rattle *Dagoth Gilvoth* - Dagoth Ur, Lower Facility Dagoth Girer - Kogoruhn, Dome of Pollock's Eve Dagoth Goral - Endusal, Kagrenac's Study Dagoth Ienas - Dagoth Ur, Outer Facility Dagoth Irvyn - Dagoth Ur, Inner Tower Dagoth Mendras - Endusal, Kagrenac's Study Dagoth Molos - Tureynulal, Kagrenac's Library Dagoth Muthes - Dagoth Ur, Lower Facility Dagoth Nilor - Vemynal, Outer Fortress *Dagoth Odros* - Odrosal, Dwemer Training Academy Dagoth Ralas - Kogoruhn, Nabith Waterway Dagoth Rather - Dagoth Ur, Inner Facility Dagoth Reler - Kogoruhn, Dome of Urso Dagoth Soler - Vemynal, Hall of Torque Dagoth Tanis - Falasmaryon, Lower Level *Dagoth Tureynul* - Tureynulal, Kagrenac's Library Dagoth Ulen - Kogoruhn, Vault of Aerode *Dagoth Uthol* - Kogoruhn, Charma's Breath Dagoth Uvil - Kogoruhn, Temple of Fey Dagoth Vaner - Dagoth Ur, Outer Facility *Dagoth Vemyn* - Vemynal, Hall of Torque Dagoth Hlevul - Assemanu, Shrine There are 4 Dagoths that aren't in the game. Killing the Ash Vampires will reduce Dagoth Ur's stats by the following amounts for each vampire killed: Strength -5 Willpower -5 Speed -5 Health -50 Fatigue -50 Magicka -250 For Example: If you kill all 7 Ash Vampires, Dagoth Ur will have lost 35 points in Strength, Willpower and Speed, 350 points in Health and Fatigue and 1750 points in Magicka, resulting an immensely weaker Dagoth Ur compared to what he was before. Taking the extra time to kill each Ash Vampire will make a BIG difference in the end when the time comes to face Dagoth Ur. These stat losses are for each of Dagoth Ur's forms. The first form is in the Facility Caverns and the second form is in the Heart Chamber. ============================================================================== Section 7: Dagoth Ur ============================================================================== Here is a short history briefing on the leader of House Dagoth, Dagoth Ur and I will also list all of Dagoth Ur's info such as level, health, fatigue, etc. Dagoth Ur was never much of an evil Mer. He was a companion of the Hortator, the great Lord Nerevar, and was the leader of the sixth house, Dagoth, the only one to be closely attached to the Dwemer during the days of Resdayn, when the Dunmer and the Dwemer had united against the Nords to take back the land. However, Voryn Dagoth, or Dagoth Ur as he is now known, betrayed Nerevar at the Battle at Red Mountain(700th year of the First Era) after going power-mad and being corrupted by Kagrenac's Tools. He slew Nerevar and escaped. Many millenia later, in year 882 of the second era, Voryn Dagoth hypnotized a band of followers through Dreams, called Dreamers and Sleepers, and ambushed the Tribunal on their way to the Heart Chamber for their annual power recharging. Ur wrestled the tools from the Tribunal, and regardless of several attempts by the Tribunal to regain power over the Heart Chamber, they could not defeat Ur. He used the tools to make himself a God, and created a small empire around Red Mountain, creating diseases like Blight and Corprus to twist and mutate his minions, as well as help him and the Ash Vampires in construction of the second mechanical God(the first was the Dwemer Numidium), Akulukahn. The Heart was to be its power. Then, finally, almost 600 years later, in 3rd Era year 427, Lord Nerevar was reincarnated by Azura as the Nerevarine and defeated Dagoth Ur in a final climactic battle, after re-obtaining the Tools from the Ash Vampires. Dagoth Ur Level:35 Health:300 Magicka:300 Fatigue:500 Soul:UNTRAPPABLE/0 Strength/Int/Will/Agility/Endurance/Personality/Luck:100 Speed:80 Combat Skill:100 Magic Skill:100 Sealth Skill:100 Damage Attack 1:50-75 Attack 2:25-100 Attack 3:60-60 Special Items: *Dropped on the ground by the door* Heart Ring Cast When Used Dispel On Self for 1 second, 20-50% Lightning Shield 10-20 Points Resist Frost/Fire/Shock/Magicka/Paralysis 30-50% On Self For 30 seconds ============================================================================== Section 8: Contact Info ============================================================================== If you would like to contact me for any reason pertaining to this FAQ, please email me at DeadKenny56@hotmail.com and please label the topic of the email as "Sixth House" to make it easier for me to notice it.
