Introduction ======================================================================= ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.01 About This FAQ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first FAQ but here’s how it goes. The purpose of this FAQ is to help people find all of the hidden items and character in the game. I’ll give you several ideas of where the items are. I’ll also give an idea of who you should use to get this item. If the item one of the harder items to obtain I’ll give you a small strategy of how to get it. This guide is aimed so that everyone knows where the hidden items are. Note there are some items I’m not completely certain about but I know where their location is. So I’ll mark these items but put a question mark next to them as well. If any of you find out what these items are exactly please let me know and I will update the FAQ and give you your credit. This FAQ skips some chapters because those chapters have no hidden items. Of course this chapter is also broken down in the orders that chapters come so if you look under the Part 1 section you’ll see all the chapters there. Again if you find any other items please let me know. I’ll also provide a diagram showing key points that could help you. In future additions I might add diagrams for each individual tip. On the diagrams X represents squares. If there’s anything else important I’ll tell you as well. In this guide I’ve added a Ctrl F search. Look at the table of contest and type in the place that you want to go. This is so that you can better navigate this guide. Also I have been getting man e-mails about items that I haven’t gotten to yet. If you would please refrain from telling me about these until I get that far. If I miss that item please tell me. But if I haven’t gotten that far there’s a good chance I already know about it. Also if you would let me know who you are in gamefaqs that would help in giving you credit. There’s also a coordinates section that works like graphs. Just remember that the square I’m talking about normally the lower left hand corner counts in the numbers I say unlike when I’m giving locations. So if I say 14 spaces from the lower left hand corner the lower left hand square is counted in those 14. If too many people think this is confusing please let me know and I’ll change it. If anyone discovers any new items or a mistake on this FAQ please let me know. Please make sure to check ‘Copyrights’ and ‘Credits’ sections of this FAQ. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.02 Credits/Thanks ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Here’s a list of credits and thanks to everyone. If you send something in you’ll be added to this list as well. But please don’t send anything in just so you get put on this list. If you know you gave me some advice and your name is not on here please tell me. Also if you gave me some advice and I listed it on here but didn’t put your username please tell me your username. Note that I’ll likely just post your name once here, but there is also a chance that it might be in the section where the advice was directed to. If more than one person has told me about this that will likely not happen. Also if you send me an e-mail about something that I have already fixed I won’t mention your name since it’s fixed. So I suggest looking before sending me an e-mail. If I messed up on your username please let me know and I’ll fix it sometimes I get confused and it’s hard to determine your usernames in certain cases. Thanks... -Nintendo and everyone who worked on this game -Prima guidebook that helped me a lot on this FAQ -http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/tiara/fe10/ (aka Serenes Forest) -Me for writing this (thank me on the boards) :p -You for reading Advice and Such... -whoever told me Astrid for Geoffrey’s charge sorry I forgot your name -whoever told me about 1-7 master seal -whoever suggested I use the x and y axis -incredibleegg for the Marauders tip -kakkoroto for the Marauders tip -xenocyber88 for the Marauders tip -an anonymous for the Raise the Standard Part 1 tip and the Marauders tip -DZig4 for the Raise the Standard Part 1 tip -whoever sent me the Raise the Standard Part 1 tip your e-mail had Chris in the name -Jared for the Marauders tip -an anonymous for the 1-7 master seal tip and the 3-1 torch tip ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.03 Updates ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 0.77–January 4, 2008 ----------------------------- *finished part 3 *made corrections from e-mails that were sent to me *added corrections section Version 0.65–December 28, 2007 ------------------------------- *continued part 3 *added some information to Contact Info section (please look through it) *added three new paragraphs to About this FAQ section (please look through it) *updated Geoffrey’s Charge Version 0.54- December 17, 2007 -------------------------------- *continued on part 3 Version 0.50- December 13, 2007 -------------------------------- *started and finished part 2 hidden items *started part 3 Version 0.25- December 12, 2007 ------------------------------- *finished part 1 hidden items *sent to gamefaqs *added ‘Copyrights’ and ‘Contact Information’ section Version 0.10- December 11, 2007 -------------------------------- *started on project *go to Part 1: Chapter 3 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.04 Corrections ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This section is devoted to all of the mistakes I made and people have fixed for me. Here I’ll put a list of corrections. This is also so I don’t get hoards of emails going over the same corrections. This will also have other items that I have missed so people don’t send me them again. If it’s listed here it means that I have fixed or added it. Also note that I have not completely updated the corrections yet. That means that I have not added to coordinates and anything else that is new. I’ll go back and do this once I’m done with the guide. *Part 3: Chapter 3: Marauders -The spirit dust behind the boss *Part 1: Chapter 6: Raise the Standard Part 1 -The coins in that chapter *Part 1: Chapter 7: A Gathering Hope -The master seal *Part 3: Chapter 1: Laguz and Beorc -added torch ======================================================================= 2. Hidden Items ======================================================================= ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.01 About Hidden Items ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden items are items scattered throughout the map that you can only find with characters that have high luck. When they stand on this square and stay there for at least one turn they find the item and it goes to their inventory. Some items are harder to get so you might have to wait more turns to get them. There is one hidden character in the entire game. He can only be found on Part 4 Chapter 3: Distortions. The character is the trueblade Stefan. He can only be found when Micaiah lands on a certain square. But more about him when we get there. Now let’s get started. ======================================================================= 3. Locations ======================================================================= I advise you look at all of the things marked. You’ll be able to tell if there’s more than one item on the map because I’d indicated it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.01 Part 1: Chapter 3: A Faint Light ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Item: Coin (don’t sell these use them in forging) Diagram: WWW WXW WE W stands for wall. X for the square. E for an enemy Location: -From the escape point move 1 square to the right. Then go 7 squares up. -The first square to the left from the door. It should be the one square your characters can stand on. -The spot is surrounded by a wall except to the south. To the south (the only way to get on the spot) is an enemy archer at the start. -My last advice for this one is from your character that starts furthest to the right/east move the cursor down four spaces. Who should go? -I recommend Sothe maybe Micaiah if her luck is high. If there is anyone has higher luck than they do put them on there. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.02 Chapter 4: A Distant Voice ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 3 items on this chapter so be ready to move around. Item: Beastfoe (this item comes in handy on this chapter) Remember: -This item can be found on 2 adjacent squares. But if you have a character with high luck on them it doesn’t matter which square their on. Diagram: S xH X S stands for a sand dune that you can’t stand on. x stands for a square that the item is obtainable but also has an enemy on it. X stands for another square where the item is obtainable. H is a healing pot Location: -From the healing pot farthest to the left. It is the spot to the left and the one under it. You can get it on both spaces but you only get one. -From your character who starts furthest up. Go to the left until you can’t anymore. That square and the one above it are the ones where the item is obtainable. -From the tiger next to the healing pot furthest to the left. The tiger whose close one of the bosses is standing on the square where you can get the beastfoe. The square below him is also an option. Item: Coin Remember: -This item has three squares where it’s obtainable. Their in a row so all you’d have to do is move your character forward or backwards. Diagram: BW XW XW XS B- breakable wall. W- Wall. X- Spot where item is obtainable. S- Impassable sand dune Location: -From your character who starts furthest to the right. The item is found on the square to the right of that character, the square above that square, and the square above that one. -From the breakable wall that is furthest to the right. The 3 squares directly below it. -From the character at the top of your formation. Move 3 spaces to the right. It’s the square your cursor will land on and the 2 squares below it. Item: Master Seal (this is an item used for promoting your characters I strongly recommend getting it) Remember: -This item can be found on 3 squares like the coin in this level. Unlike the coin the squares aren’t in a straight line. This item can be found on 3 squares that are on sort of an L shape. Diagram: XH XX X- spots where item is obtainable. H- healing pot. Locations: -From the healing pot to the southeast, lower right. The spots below, to the right and diagonally down to the left are spots where this item is obtainable. -From the square furthest to the bottom right. Go diagonally up to the left. This is a square, the one to the left of that, and the square above the second available spot. -From the cat enemy furthest to the bottom right. Go down one spot to the healing pot and then to the left. That is one location and so is the spot below this spot, and the spot below the healing pot. Who Should Go? -I once again recommend Sothe. It’s a bit hard to get him around but it’s worth it if you can. I recommend he goes to all of the items. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.03 Chapter 5: Lost Heir ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The items in this chapter are a little scatter making it harder to get. Sothe is once again your weapon of choice for finding these items. Item: Concotion (this is a healing item that heals 40 hp) Diagram: EW EX E- Enemy. W- Wall. X- Spot where item is found. Locations: -From the spot where Jill starts. Go left until you reach your first -From the group of enemies on the staircase that’s in front of your group. Move your cursor onto the fighter farthest from your group in that group. Move the cursor up 3 spaces. -From the group of enemies on the staircase that’s in front of your group. Move your cursor on the fighter closest to your group from the group of enemies. Move the cursor up 5 spaces Item: Coin Diagram: LP LP WXP SP W- wall. S- impassible sand dune. P- Normal walking area. X- spot where item is. L- ledge Locations: -From the ledge to the left. Have your character jump down from the raised area and move down one space. -From where the boss, Wystan, is. Have your cursor over Wystan. Move it to the left 4 spaces, then up 1. -From where your character who starts at the top right starts. Have your cursor over the character. Then move it over 7 spaces, then up 1. Who Should Go? -Again, our rogue Sothe. He’s got good luck and is able to move quickly through the desert. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.04 Chapter 6: Raise the Standard-Stage1 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This chapter has 2 parts and I’ve made each a separate section. Once again Sothe should be the lucky go getter. Item: Coin Remember: -I’ve made this redone this one because of e-mails sent to me Diagram: PM PPMM PXPT M- mountain. X- location of item. P- square that you can move onto. T- tree that you can move onto. Locations: -From the healing bush almost completely surrounded by mountains, it’s the one on the middle of the map. Move right 6 spaces. -From the enemy archer on the right side of the map at the start of the battle. Move down 1 square and to the right 3 spaces. -From the healing bush closest to your party to one furthest right. Move up 2 spaces and to the right 3 spaces. Item: Arms Scroll (this is a handy item that raises your weapon level) Remember: -I’ve know where this one is unlike the other. If you see that any of the items are not where I say they are please let me know Diagram: PE XE PM MM P- is a normal moving square. E- enemies. X- location of item. M- mountain. Locations: -From the healing bush at the center of the stage. Move the cursor 6 spaces to the left and down 1. -From the enemy armor sword closest to your group. Move to the left 1 space. -From the only enemy armor lance. Move down 1 space and left 1 more. Or move to the left 1 space and then down 1. -From the healing bush almost surrounded by mountains. Move the cursor down 3 spaces and 3 more spaces to the left. Who Should Go? -Sothe, plain and simple he’s the best choice. Micaiah can go if her luck is high. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.05 Chapter 6: Raise the Standard-Stage2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Its part 2 of chapter 6 and you’ve got a completely new map. On this level we’ve only got 1 item and there are 4 possible spaces to try and get it. Item: Master Seal Diagram: HHH XXP XXP PPH H- a hill you can’t get on. X- possible location of item. P- normal space your character can move onto. Locations: -From the boss of the chapter, Laverton. Move down 6 spaces and to the left 4 spaces and you’re on one of the spot. On the diagram that’d be the top left X. -From the ballista closest to the boss, make sure you’re on the part of the ballista that you can’t stand on. move down 3 spaces and to the left 1 space. This lands you on the same spot as if you followed the first location I gave you. Who Should Go? -Have our little rogue Sothe snatch the master seal. Sorry but for this one there weren’t many distinct locations to mention. If you need further help contact me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.06 Chapter 7: A Gathering Hope ----------------------------------------------------------------------- In this level there are 2 hidden items. Once again Sothe should be able to handle it. Item: Coin Diagram: PEX EEE E- Enemy. X- item location. P- normal square Locations: -From your character that starts at the top of your formation and farthest to the right, have your cursor on them. Move the cursor up 14 and there you are. -From the exit where the soldiers are supposed to go through. There should be four enemies, the ones located on the diagram. From the enemy on the top of their little formation move the cursor to the right. Item: Master Seal Remember: -This is from e-mails people have sent me Diagram: CCWP CCWP DWWX C- an area that was hidden, like a jail cell a single Daien soldier was in there. W- wall. P- normal square. X- item location. D- door. S- Daien soldier Locations: -Put your cursor on the boss, Djur. Go to the left 6 squares and up 1 squares. -Put your cursor on the door furthest north. Move right 3 squares -If you open the door and see the original location of the Daien soldier in the uppermost cell. Move right 3 squares and down 2 square. Who Should Go? -Sothe ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.07 Chapter 8: Glory Unwanted ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Since your characters are pretty scattered it’s harder to get items. This time around Sothe won’t be doing all of the finding either. There are 4 items on this map 2 of which I’m not completely sure. I’ll show it on the diagram like last time. Item: Coin Remember: -This is one of the items I’m not completely sure about Diagram: PE Xx PE P- normal spot. E- enemy. X- most probably location of item. x- possible location of item. Locations: -From the wolves and heron on the top of the screen put your cursor on the one furthest south. Move the cursor down 9 spaces and to the right 3 spaces. Then you should be on the big X on the diagram. -The 2 enemies at indicated on the diagram is a bandit (bottom enemy) and a thunder mage (top enemy). If you can find them on the left section of the screen then you should find it. -From the bottom citizen on the left side of the screen. Go to the left 7 spaces. Item: Coin Diagram: MMM MXE MMM M- marsh the hard area to move on. E- enemy. X- location of the item. Locations: -From where Tormod’s group starts put your cursor on the character of his group furthest to the left. Go left 6 spaces and down 1 space. -Look for the sole enemy who’s in the southwest part of the marsh. The space to the left of him is where the coin is. -From the civilian on the bottom left. Go 3 spaces to the left and 5 spaces down. Item: Coin Remember: -This is one of the items I’m not completely sure on the location even if I know the general area. Diagram: MMMMML CMxXxL MMMMLL M- marsh. L- normal land. C- civilian. X- most likely location of item. x- possible location of item. Locations: -From the civilian on the top right side of marsh. Move your cursor up 2 spaces and 7 spaces. -From your top character of the center group. Move the cursor up 1 space and 13 spaces. Who Should Go? -Sothe as usual. -Problem is that the items are really scattered so I also recommend Nailah (I don’t remember exactly how good her luck was) -I also think that Vika might have good luck as well so try her out as well ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.08 Chapter 9: One Survives ----------------------------------------------------------------------- In this fight you might be trying so hard to survive that you might not even focus on hidden items. But for those of you who dare to there are 3 of them. This chapter is a little harder to map out so most of the directions will be simple and revolve around Micaiah and the Black Knight. Note if there is a mark for an enemy that’s at the start of the battle, so those will normally become normal spaces. Item: Olivi Grass (this item increases the laguz gauge by about 15) Diagram: PPE TXH P- normal square. E- enemy. T- tree. X- location of item. Locations: -From the Black Knight. Go to the left 6 and up 3 spaces. -From the northern healing bush. Go 5 spaces to the left in other words go to the left until you can’t go anymore. Who Should Go? -Micaiah, not really sure about the Black Knight’s luck Congratulations! You should be near the end of Part 1. And if you followed this guide correctly you just got all of the hidden items in Part 1 as well. Wait to go. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.09 Part 2: Chapter 2: Tides of Intrigue ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Part 2. This is a short chapter that only has 2 stages with hidden items. So let’s get on it. On this chapter, Chapter 2, we have 1 item. Item: Discipline (this skill makes increasing your weapon level easier) Diagram: (this one is in the middle of no where with nothing by it so just hand with me) PBB PPB BPX P- normal spot. Move to the right 6 spaces and down 4 spaces. Who Should Go? -Heather, she’s the Sothe of this part (but only luck wise). ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.10 Chapter 3: Geoffrey’s Charge ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 3 hidden items in this chapter. Since you have no Heather I’m not entirely sure who to send to get them. If someone could inform me that’d be great. In this chapter we have an item that can be found on multiple spaces 5 in fact. So let’s go. Item: Coin Diagram: TPP PTP EPX PPE T- tree you can’t move onto. P- normal square. E- enemy. X- location of item. Locations: -From the healing bush furthest to the east. Move down 10 spaces and to the right 1 space. -From the ally unit furthest to the right (he’s an axe paladin if that helps). Move up 16 spaces and to the right 1 space. Item: Arms Scroll Remember: -This is the item that can be located on multiple squares. And it’s pretty convenient where it is too. Diagram: FFXXP HxXXW PPFFP F- impassible fence. W- impassible wall. Who Should Go? -Astrid (sorry who sent me this advice but I forgot. If you could please tell me I’d be thankful and give you your credit) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.11 Endgame: Elincia’s Gambit ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry if you looked at the last version and saw that Elincia’s Gambit didn’t have any hidden items. I looked over my notes and saw that it did so I apologize. In this chapter there are 4 hidden items. So let’s get cracking. Move 6 spaces up and 13 squares to the right. This puts you on the bottom square of the item. -From the only door on the map. Move up 1 space and to the right 6 spaces. Who Should Go? -Heather -Any other units with high luck Congratulations! You just go all of the hidden items in Part 2. And most likely beat Part 2 itself. Wait to go. Now let’s move onto the long Part 3. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.12 Part 3: Prologue: The Great Adventure ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the start of Part 3. It’s a longest part in the game and has many fights outside so you know what that means. You go it a lot of hidden items. So let’s get started on them. In the prologue there is only 1 hidden item. 1 we’re really familiar with by now. If you guessed coin then you’re 100% right. Item: Coin Diagram: PPXPT TTTPE P- normal square. T- impassable tree. Who Should Go? -In this part there are a lot of units with good luck. Try them out, here’s a list of some good ones but I don’t guarantee anything from most of them. -Ike -Mist -Titania -Rhys (he’s got the best luck so try him out) -Mia -Oscar ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.13 Chapter 1: Laguz and Beorc ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 3 hidden items in this chapter. 2 coins which are good if you’re into forging. But these hidden items aren’t that far out so far out so you might be able to get them easily. There are a total of 3 hidden items on this map. Item: Coin Remember: -I’m not entirely sure on the position of this item. In fact the guide I’m using is 100% wrong since it says the item is on a ledge. Therefore I’ll only give you the ideal position so you guys can search for me from there. If you would tell me I’ll give you your credit and put the location here. Please give me the coordinates or something to help me locate it. Diagram: WWCP plpC WWPP W- castle wall. It’s an extra special bow that you might really want. Thank you to Shotto_Ku for letting me know about this item even if I already had it down. Item: Brave Bow (this bow lets you hit twice in a turn and if you would normally hit twice in a battle you hit 4 times! I think this is a great item for you to get for your archer) Diagram: PHE EXL PPP P- normal square or just a square that you can move n freely can’t say for sure since this was a dark level. My maps are harder to read in this chapter so positioning will be harder. In fact I can hardly read a thing so I’m only going to give you coordinates and taking out the diagram and location sections, sorry. If anyone is on this chapter and wants to contribute please do. Item: Coin Coordinates: From the lower left hand corner X axis- 19 spaces to the right Y axis- 17 spaces up Item: Coin Coordinates: From the lower left hand corner X axis- 4 spaces to the right Y axis- 29 spaces up (this is the highest row on the map) Who Should Go? -I’m not sure if she can go but Heather -If she can’t maybe Haar, contributions for this map and all other maps are always taken ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.20 Chapter 8: Incandescent Glow ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A single item on this map and if you’re guessing a coin then you’re right. Because of how this level is worked out it’ll be harder to do the coordinates section. But I’ll do it and all of the other sections on this section. Item: Coin Diagram: PPW PPP WEX WPE P- normal square this counts the squares you get hurt on. W- an area that your normal units can’t walk on. E- enemy at start of battle. I suggest that you use one of the mounted unit with high luck. Diagram: X B WPE W- wall. X- location of item. E- enemy at start of battle. B- boss. P- normal square. Locations: -If this item is really here this is as simple as I can put it. put your cursor on the boss and move it back 1 space.
