If you are playing with 2 or more players, you will need to have a Wii U GamePad and a Wii Remote + Nunchuk. ******************************************************************************* Board Game: Trophy Race (MODTR) ******************************************************************************* You will roll a die and travel around the board, landing on various squares. You must be the first player to win the selected number of trophies (10 or 20) and then return to the center of the board. The game board contains seven types of squares. *When returning to the center of the board, the player does NOT have to roll a number exactly equal to the number of spaces. Any number equal to or greater than the remaining spaces will win. For example, if a player is only three spaces away from the center, then he or she can win by rolling any number greater than or equal to three. +++++++++ Mini-game +++++++++ Represented by a picture of a castle. You will get to play a random minigame. If you win the minigame, you will win three trophies. ++++ Quiz ++++ Represented by a picture of a question mark. You will be asked a question. If you answer correctly, you will win two trophies. The other players have to bet on whether you will answer the question correctly. If they are right, they will win a trophy. ++++++++++ Play Again ++++++++++ You must roll the dice again. If you are on the outer circle, the outer bridge will move to your position before your second roll. If you are on the inner circle, the inner bridge will move to your position before your second roll. +++++++ Present +++++++ Represented by a picture of a present. You will receive a bonus that you can use later. *You can only have one bonus at a time. --Baseball Bat: Use this to do a complete lap of the board and get a trophy from all the players you pass. --Booby Trap: Use this to set a booby trap on a square other than in the center. The player that triggers this has to give you a trophy! --Broken Leg: Use this object to slow a player down and prevent them from using a bonus during their next turn. --Helping Hand: Use this to add or subtract 1 from the results of your dice roll. --Loaded Dice: Use this object to choose the result of your dice roll. --Punishment: Use this object to take a trophy from the player in the lead. --Reverse: Allows you to go in the opposite direction. --Second Chance: Use this object to roll the dice again. --Switch Places: Use this object to switch places with another player! +++++ Event +++++ Represented by a picture of a rabbid. A random event occurs. --Bomb!: A bomb apears with a 10 on it. The bomb counts down by the number of spaces taken by a player, and it explodes when it gets to zero. The player who makes it explode loses three trophies. --Flash Game!: Play a random mini-game with another player. --Mega-Game!: One of the Mini-game squares on the board will turn purple. The winner of a minigame on this square earns an extra trophy. --Mega-Jackpot!: One of the Jackpot will turn black with a golden clover leaf. A player will earn a trophy for each clover leaf that appears on the selection line, in addition to earning a trophy for each mini-game square. --Mr. Lucky!: A jester rabbid appears on the board and moves around. You get a trophy if you run into it. It disappears after four turns. --Pickpocket!: You get to steal a trophy from another player. --The Pleasure of Giving!: You have to give one of your trophies to another player. --Sleight of Paw: A speed game involving all players. The Wii Remote is placed somewhere for all players to able to grab. When the rabbid starts screaming, the first person to grab the Wii Remote and press A can select his or her avatar and win two trophies. --Thieving Rabbid!: Try to avoid the thieving rabbid. He'll steal one of your trophies! A thieving rabbid appears on the board, and moves around each turn for four turns. It will steal trophies from whomever it encounters. --Trophy Race!: A trophy appears on a random square. The first person to reach it gets the trophy. The player simply has to land on or pass the square. +++ Bad +++ Represented by a picture of a skull. You will lose a trophy. +++++++ Jackpot +++++++ Reresented by a picture of a four-leaf clover. Based on chance, you can win up to five trophies. You could also lose trophies on this square. The board is spun, and you earn one trophy for each Mini-game space on the selection line, but you lose one trophy for each Bad space on the selection line. Since the board spaces are spun, the bridge locations change afterwards. ******************************************************************************* Mini-Games: Treasure Hunt (MODTH) ******************************************************************************* You have to collect coins in the selected minigames. The available minigames are based on what you've already played in the Board Game: Trophy Race mode. Each minigame will have three coins that you can collect. In order to keep these coins, you must also win the minigame. YOu can use your collected coins to unlock videos in the Extra menu. ******************************************************************************* Mini-Games: Free Play (MODFP) ******************************************************************************* You can replay any of the minigames which you've already played in the Board Game: Trophy Race mode. You must have two players to play this mode. =============================================================================== Minigames (GMINI) =============================================================================== This section contains guides on the various minigames that you will encounter. It will also tell you how to get the coins in the minigames. Note, a given minigame won't be available in either of the Mini-Games modes until after you've played it in the Board Game: Trophy Race mode. Minigames are listed alphabetically. Minigames can either be cooperative or competitive. If only one person is playing, that person will use the Wii U GamePad. If two people are playing, one person will use the Wii U GamePad, and the other will use a Wii Remote and usually the Nunchuk. Below, Player 1 will always be with respect to the player using the Wii U GamePad to play the minigame. Player 2 will always be with respect to the player using the Wii Remote. When collecting coins, the minigames are always played as Player 1. Keep in mind, you have to win the minigame to keep any coins you've collected during that minigame. In order to get credit for all 2 or 3 coins, you have to collect 2 or 3 coins during the minigame, even if you've already collected 1 or 2 coins before. For example, if you collected the first 2 coins the first time you played The Beanstalk Freefall, you still must collect all 3 coins to get credit for 3 coins. You cannot just collect the 3rd coin. ******************************************************************************* The Beanstalk Freefall (MGBNF) ******************************************************************************* -Cooperative One player will be freefalling, trying to catch boxes of popcorn. The other player will be the spotter, showing the first player where the boxes of popcorn are, and keeping the first player from being hit from above. If you're playing alone, then you will be performing all actions yourself. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Used like a viewfinder: Move targeting reticule --ZR button: Speed up -Goal: Help your partner catch 10 boxes (16 boxes if you're playing alone) of popcorn before time runs out by focusing on them with the targeting reticule. Focusing on a box of popcorn shows Player 2 where it is, so that player can get the rabbid into position to catch the box. If you're playing alone, the targeting reticule will get your rabbid into place to catch the box of popcorn. When your partner tells you to, hold ZR to speed up to avoid being hit by the falling platform, or else you'll be hit and lose two boxes of popcorn. If you are playing alone, hold ZR when the exclamation point appears on screen. -Tips --Don't hold the ZR button unless you need to avoid the falling platform. Catching the popcorn boxes is more difficult when you're dropping faster. --When playing alone, if the rabbid isn't close enough to a popcorn box, it won't catch it, even if your targeting reticule is on it. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote) --Held horizontally --Tilt to move rabbid -Goal: Follow the targeting reticule (controlled by your partner) to catch 10 boxes of popcorn by tilting the Remote. You are unable to see the oncoming boxes of popcorn, so you'll have to rely on your partner to accurately track them with the target. When the exclamation point appears, tell your partner to speed up. If the falling platform hits you, you'll lose two boxes. -Tips --Remember that your partner can't see the trailing platform on the GamePad, so you'll need to verbally let the other player know when to press ZR. --The rabbid can float around fairly quickly. If your partner is doing a good job of targeting the boxes, and you stay with the target, then catching the boxes won't be too difficult. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations after you've collected a certain number of popcorn boxes. Focus on the coins the same way you would the popcorn boxes in order to collect them. -1st: Appears after collecting 2 boxes -2nd: Appears after collecting 5 boxes -3rd: Appears after collecting 8 boxes ******************************************************************************* Check Your Booty (MGCYB) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will try to follow the on-screen targets as they count down. When they disappear, the closer the dot is to the center, the more points that player will get. The other player will try to move in sync with scrolling dance moves, getting more points for being more in sync. The player with the most points at the end is the winner. This minigame has three possible layouts, each containing over 60 targets for Player 1. The locations of the targets stay consistent for a given layout. Although the scrolling dance moves also differ for Player 2, Player 2 does not need to know the scrolling positions for reasons explained below. Along with the locations of the targets, the music is also different for each layout. -Abbreviations for layouts --TL = Top-left --TM = Top-middle --TR = Top-right --L = Left --M = Middle --R = Right --BL = Bottom-left --BM = Bottom-middle --BR = Bottom-right --2x = Speed x2 -Layout 1 --"Don't Stop the Party!" --64 targets --M, R, M, L, M, TM, M, L, TL, TM, M, R, TR, TM, M, L, BL BM, BR, R, M, L (2x), M, R (2x), TR, TM, M, R (2x), M, L (2x), TL, TM, M, BM, BR, R, M, TM, TL, L, M, BM, BL, L, M, TM, TR, R, M, L (2x), BL, BM, M, R (2x), BR, BM, M, L (2x), TL, TM, M, R (2x), BR, BM -Layout 2 --"Baby Don't Stop" --61 targets --M, TM, M, BM, BL, L, TL, TM, M, R, M, L, M, TM, M, R, TR, TM, M, BM, BL, L, M, BM, M, R, M, L (2x), M, L (2x), M, TM, TL, L, M, R (2x), M, R (2x), M, BM, BL, L, M, R (2x), M, L (2x), M, TM, TR, R, M, L (2x), M, R (2x), M, TM, TL, L, BL, BM, M -Layout 3 --"Crazy Little Thing" --61 targets --M, BM, M, TM, TR, R, M, L, BL, BM, M, R, TR, TM, M, L, BL, BM, M, TM, TL, L, M, BM, BR, R, M, L (2x), M, R (2x), M, L (2x), TL, TM, M, R (2x), M, L (2x), BL, BM, M, R (2x), M, R (2x), TR, TM, M, L (2x), M, R (2X), BR, BM, M, L (2x), M, TM (2x), TR, R, M, BM (2x), M ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Used like a viewfinder: Move dot -Goal: Use the GamePad to move the dot around with on-screen targets. Keep the dot close to the center of the target in order to get more points when it disappears. The targets can appear in nine possible locations: top-left, top-middle, top-right, left, middle, right, bottom-left, bottom-middle, and bottom-right. Score more points than your opponent to win. -Tips --Getting the dot anywhere on the yellow will earn you the most points (point values differ depending on the minigame layout). --Pay attention to the on-screen arrows. They tell you where the next on- screen target is going to appear. --If the on-screen arrows also show "Speed x2", get ready to snap the dot to where the next on-screen target will appear. You'll only have about half a second before that target disappears. --The music being played will give you a clue as to which layout to follow. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote): Held like a remote: Register dance movement -Goal: Use the Remote to move in sync with the dancer's, trying to match the scrolling rabbids as they move over your dancer's circle. The better your timing is (more in sync you are), the more points you'll get with each scrolling rabbid. Score more points than your opponent to win. -Tips --The Remote doesn't necessarily have to be facing in the same direction as the on-screen dancer. The minigame is really only tracking rapid movements of the Remote, and registering the movements as dance moves. You can move the Remote while pointing it towards the ceilig and still receive full points for a downward-pointing dance move. --You cannot simply hold the Remote in the position shown on-screen, and then wait for the dance move to go over the circle. If you have no movement, the game will not register a dance move from you. +++++ Coins +++++ Coins will appear at designated target appearances. The number of the target appearance depends on the layout of the minigame (i.e. layout 1, 2, or 3). Collect the coins by moving the dot over it. The coins only remain on screen for a few seconds. -1st: --Layout 1: Appears with 17th target, at bottom-left (first time bottom-left) --Layout 2: Appears with 17th target, at top-right (first time top-right) --Layout 3: Appears with 17th target, at bottom-left (second time bottom- left) -2nd: --Layout 1: Appears with 33rd target, at middle (after Speed x2 that goes to left, then top-left, then top-middle, and back to middle) --Layout 2: Appears with 32nd target, at top-middle (immediately after the first back-to-back Speed x2 middle-to-left) --Layout 3: Appears with 32nd target, at left (second time going middle-to- left under Speed x2) -3rd: --Layout 1: Appears with 49th target, at middle (just before first Speed x2 you see after seeing the 2nd coin) --Layout 2: Appears with 47th target, at middle (immediately after the Speed x2 that goes middle-to-right, then middle-to-left) --Layout 3: Appears with 47th target, at middle (after a back-to-back Speed x2 that goes middle-to-right, followed by top-right, top-middle, and back to middle) ******************************************************************************* Cuperpillar (MGCUP) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will control the three spinning tea cups, and the other player will control the caterpillar. The tea cups must keep hitting the caterpillar to make it lose sections of its body. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held vertically --Stylus: Move teacups -Goal: Launch the teacups into the caterpillar a total of ten times, by flicking them with the stylus. Each time you hit the caterpilllar, it loses a part of its body, making it a smaller target with each hit. -Tips --Collect the mushrooms that appear before the caterpillar can. They make the caterpillar invincible for about three seconds if it grabs them. --The mushrooms will give you a short burst of speed. --Try to keep all three teacups moving. A stray teacup may hit the caterpillar. --Once you've launched a teacup, you can stop it again or change its course of direction by touching it with the stylus. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote) --Held horizontally --Tilt to move caterpillar -Goal: Tilt the Remote to move the caterpillar around the board. Avoid being touched by any of the cups. If the cups touch you ten times, then you lose. -Tips --Collect the mushrooms that appear. They will make you invincible for about three seconds. --Avoid the cups, even the ones that aren't moving. If you touch a cup at all while you're not invincible, you'll lose a section of your body. --When you've been hit, you'll have two seconds of invincibility. --Try to keep your movements random to make it harder for the other player to hit you with a teacup. --Be mindful of ricocheting cups. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations of the board after you've hit the caterpillar a certain number of times. The coins will stay on screen only for a certain number of seconds. -1st --Appears after hitting the caterpillar 2 times --Stays on screen for 10 seconds -2nd --Appears after hitting the caterpillar 4 times --Stays on screen for 8 seconds -3rd --Appears after hitting the caterpillar 6 times --Stays on screen for 5 seconds ******************************************************************************* Ducky Paddle (MGDKP) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will be one of the paddlers in the pool, trying to blend in with the computer-controlled paddlers. The other player will be the lifeguard trying to figure out which paddler is controller by Player 1, and will then shoot that player with a toilet brush. The winner of the minigame is the one who wins two rounds first. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Left joystick/control pad: Move paddler --A button: Stop paddler when whistle is about to be blown -Goal: Blend in with other paddlers to avoid being detected by the lifeguard. Move the paddler around with the left joystick or control pad. When the lifeguard blows its whistle, stop by pressing A. -Tips --Follow the arrows in the pool, especially when with other paddlers. Going against the flow of traffic is an easy giveaway that you're not a computer-controlled paddler. --The lifeguard cannot see the directional arrows that you can see on the GamePad. The lifeguard, however, can still determine which way you should be going by watching the other paddlers. --Pay attention to the meter that appears on the left side of the screen when the lifeguard is about to blow its whistle. Press the A button when the "A" reaches the green circle in order to stop at the same time as the other paddlers. --Pay attention to the skull meter on the right side of the screen (only appears when playing alone). This meter tells you how much you're out of sync with the computer-controlled paddlers. --Try to avoid changing to the exact opposite direction. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote) --Held like a remote: Aim targeting reticule --A button: Blow whistle --B button: Fire toilet brush -Goal: Pay attention to the paddlers, and try to figure out which one is being controlled by Player 1. Use A to blow the whistle to stop the paddlers. Once you've discovered Player 1, aim at the paddler with the Remote, and press A to shoot a toilet brush at it to win the round. -Tips --You have three toilet brushes you can shoot each round. Never let the timer run out without having shot all three. Even if you aren't positive, use them as guesses. --The pool has distinct directions for each lane that are only visible on the GamePad. They remain fixed, though, and the computer-controlled paddlers will always follow the arrows. Pay attention to the general flow of the paddlers to see if anyone is going against the flow. --Remember to blow the whistle and pay attention to any paddlers that are still paddling or that have a different pose from the rest. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations of the pool after a certain amount of time on the timer has passed. The coins will remain in the pool until the end of the round. -1st: Appears a little after 1/8 of the time has passed -2nd: Appears after 3/8 of the time has passed -3rd: Appears after 5/8 of the time has passed ******************************************************************************* Elephantitan (MGELP) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will attempt to get rabbids from one end of the arena to the other. The other player will attempt to move a ball and an elephant from side to side in order to block the crossing rabbids. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held vertically --Stylus: Draw path line -Goal: Use the stylus to draw a path for the rabbids to cross from the bottom of the screen to the top without running into any obstacles. Win by getting 10 rabbids across to the other side. -Tips --The longer the path line you draw, the faster the rabbids will eventually run. --The path lines don't have to be straight. You can use curves and even use lines that backtrack. --Don't worry about trying to preserve your rabbids. If they run into something and disappear, they will reappear at the bottom of the screen for another try. --You can have some rabbids backtrack and others go straight. This way you can simultaneously have multiple rabbids crossing the ball's or elephant's path on opposite sides of the screen. --You can use a shotgun approach, sending waves of rabbids toward the top at one time. Make sure to target different sides when doing this, so the ball or elephant can't easily take out all of the rabbids at once. --Make sure your path lines don't lead your rabbid to the side of the screen. This will have the same effect as if they had run into either the ball or elephant. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk) --Twist Remote: Roll elephant --Twist Nunchuk: Roll ball -Goal: Twist the Remote and Nunchuk to roll the elephant and ball from side to side. Use them to block the rabbids that are trying to cross over to your side. If 10 rabbids successfully cross over, then you lose. -Tips --The ball and elephant can roll fairly quickly. --The ball can roll straight through the rabbids. --The elephant bounces up slightly when it runs into a rabbid. --Keep in mind that the rabbids don't have to cross over in a straight line. They can zigzag and even backtrack. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations after you successfully get a certain number of rabbids to the top of the screen. Collect them by running the rabbids over them. -1st --Appears after you successfully get two rabbids to the top --Remains on screen for 10 seconds -2nd --Appears after you successfully get four rabbids to the top --Remains on screen for 8 seconds -3rd --Appears after you successfully get six rabbids to the top --Remains on screen for 6 seconds ******************************************************************************* The Gift of Taking (MGGTK) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will control the three thieves, attempting to steal the floor buffers. The other player will control the four security cameras and laser beams, trying to shoot the three thieves. This minigame has three possible layouts, each containing over 8 floor buffers. The floor buffers appear in random locations. The difference between the three layouts is in the floor design. -Angles --Angle 1 is top-left of the GamePad for Player 1 and left for Player 2. --Angle 2 is top-right of the GamePad for Player 1 and bottom for Player 2. --Angle 3 is bottom-left of the GamePad for Player 1 and right for Player 2. --Angle 4 is bottom-right of the GamePad for Player 1 and top for Player 2. -Layout 1 --5 total obstacles on the floor --Angle 1: Near the camera are two perpendicular bookcases with a small gap in between. One bookcase is located away from the camera. --Angle 2: One bookcase near the camera and one away from the camera. --Angle 3: Near the camera are two perpendicular bookcases with a small gap in between and one giant flower pot. One bookcase is located away from the camera. --Angle 4: Near the camera are two perpendicular bookcases that are connected to each other, a third bookcase, and one giant flower pot. -Layout 2 --8 obstacles on the floor --Angle 1: One thin bookcase jutting out from the wall, one large bookcase and one thin bookcase near the camera, and two regular bookcases away from the camera. --Angle 2: One thin bookcase juts out from the wall. One large bookcase and one thin bookcase are near the camera. --Angle 3: Two thin bookcases jut out from the walls on the sides. Two regular bookcases are near the camera. --Angle 4: Two regular bookcases are near the camera, one regular bookcase is slightly away from the camera, and a large bookcase is away from the camera. -Layout 3 --9 obstacles on the floor --Angle 1: Near the camera are two perpedicular bookcases with a small gap in between them and one giant flower pot. Away from the camera are a bookcase and the corner of a bookcase. --Angle 2: Near the camera are a giant flower pot and a bookcase. Also visible are the edges of five bookcases. --Angle 3: Near the camera are a thin bookcase, two connected perpendicular bookcases, a regular bookcase, and the edge of a thin bookcase jutting out from the wall. Away from the camera is a regular bookcase and a giant flower pot. --Angle 4: Near the camera are a bookcase and one side of the two perpendicular bookcases. Slightly away from the camera is a thin bookcase. Away from the camera are the edge of a thin bookcase jutting out from the wall and a regular bookcase. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held vertically --Stylus: Draw path lines -Goal: Use the stylus to tap on one of your thieving rabbids and draw a path line for it to follow to collect eight floor buffers. Stay out of the sight of the security camera, which is indicated by the area colored off in red or yellow. -Tips --Pay attention to where your rabbids are located, since the cameras use four different angles. --If you hear a chirp, that means the security camera can see one of your rabbids. --If you get into a camera's line of sight, take the shortest path to an unmarked area. --You can end the path you drew by tapping on the rabbid. This allows you to quickly change directions. --When the other player changes camera angles, the camera's video and laser take a second to load before the other player can see the video. This gives you at least a second to get out of the camera's line of sight. --The other player doesn't know which floor buffers you can see on your map. Just because you can see it on the GamePad, it doesn't mean the other player will know that you're going after it. --The portion of your map colored off in yellow or red simply indicates where the laser can hit you and the angle being viewed on the other player's primary screen. The other player can still actually see small videos of the other three camera angles, though. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk) --Nunchuk control stick: Change camera view --Remote: Aim at thief --B button: Fire laser -Goal: Use the Nunchuk's control stick to change the security cameras to try and find the thieves. Once you find them, aim at them with the Remote and press B to fire a laser at them. Shoot all three thieves or last until the timer expires in order to win. -Tips --Pay attention to all four camera angles on the screen. The primary angle (one in the center) simply represents the one where you can shoot the thieves. You can still, however, see the thieves on the other screens. --Remember that there is a one-second delay when switching angles before the feed becomes visible in the center, and before you can shoot the laser. --Try to keep in mind which camera angles have floor buffers visible in them. If an angle doesn't have a floor buffer in it, then there's nothing that can be stolen in that angle. At best, it can be used to catch a roaming thief. --When you see a thief on one of the screens that isn't your primary screen, begin aiming in the general area you'd expect to see the thief once the video loads on the center screen. This way you can shoot the laser almost immediately. +++++ Coins +++++ Coins will appear in random locations after collecting a certain number of floor buffers. The coins will remain on the map until the end of the minigame. Collect the coins by moving over them with a rabbid. Note, this is the only minigame where you can still collect the coins for a few seconds after you've won the minigame. -1st: Appears after getting second floor buffer -2nd: Appears after getting third floor buffer -3rd: Appears after getting fifth floor buffer ******************************************************************************* Ghosts Suck (MGGSK) ******************************************************************************* -Cooperative One player will spray a green goo onto the ghosts so that the other player can capture them with the vacuum cleaner. Work together to capture the ghosts before the timer runs out. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Used like a viewfinder: Move camera around --ZR button: Spray green goo onto ghost -Goal: Find the purple mists by moving the GamePad around. When you find a purple mist (i.e. a ghost), spray green goo on it the ZR button so that Player 2 can capture it. Work together to capture 6 ghosts. -Tips --You don't have to be watching the ghost when it gets captured. However, keep in mind that the ghosts can still break free after being sprayed with the green goo. --You can turn all the way around with the GamePad (i.e. full 360 degrees) in this minigame, so its harder to play if you can't freely turn around. --You'll know a ghost is captured when you see a short cutscene of it being put in a washing machine. --When playing with another person, communicate with each other to help find the ghosts faster. --When playing with another person, be close enough to each other so that Player 2 can easily point the Remote at the GamePad's screen after capturing a ghost. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk) --Nunchuk control stick: Look around --Remote: Aim at ghost/Unload ghost --Pump Nunchuck up & down: Suck up ghost -Goal: Work together with Player 1 to capture 6 ghosts. Use the Nunchuk's control stick to move the camera around. Player 1 must spray green goo on the ghost before you can suck it up by aiming at it with the Remote and pumping the Nunchuk up and down. Once you've captured the ghost, you must unload it into the washing machine by pointing the Remote at the GamePad's screen. -Tips --Communicate with Player 1 to find the ghosts faster. --Be close enough to Player 1 so that you can easily point the Remote at the GamePad's screen. --Don't put the Remote right up to the GamePad's screen when trying to unload a ghost. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations after you've successfully captured a certain number of ghosts. The coins only remain on screen for seven seconds before disappearing. Collect the coins by spraying green goo on them. Note, the timer for the coins disappearing does not stop when you see the short cutscenes of the ghosts being put into the washing machine. -1st: Appears after you've captured 2 ghosts -2nd: Appears after you've captured 4 ghosts -3rd: Appears after you've captured 6 ghosts ******************************************************************************* If You Can't Stand the Heat (MGICS) ******************************************************************************* -Cooperative Work together to cook the food and serve it to the hungry rabbids. One player will control the heat, and the other player will flip and serve the food. If playing alone, you'll be controlling the heat and the food. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Stylus: Set heat level (also flips/serves food when playing alone) -Goal: Control the heat level to cook the food. If playing alone, flip the food with the stylus when one side is cooked. Once the other side is also cooked, flip it onto the rabbids' plates with the stylus. If you let the food cook too long, it burns to ashes. If playing with another person, let the other player know when to flip or serve the food. Serve 8 food items to win. -Tips --Steaks cook the fastest. --Beatles cook the second fastest (or second slowest). --Fish cook the slowest. --You can keep the heat turned up all the way and still have time to flip the different food items when playing alone, as long as you paying attention. --If you flip a food item too early, you'll eventually have to flip it back to other side to finish cooking it. --The beatles and fish will begin to glow a reddish color when they're ready to be flipped or served. --The steaks will lose their red color when they're ready to be flipped or served. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk) --Nunchuk control stick: Move spatula --Flick Remote: Flip food --Flick Nunchuk: Serve food -Goal: Player 1 will control the heat to cook the food and will see when the food needs to be flipped or served. Use the Nunchuk's control stick to move between the different food items. When Player 1 tells you to, flip the food over by flicking the Remote or serve the food by flicking the Nunchuk. Serve 8 food items to win. -Tips --Steaks cook the fastest. --Beatles cook the second fastest. --Fish cook the slowest. --Don't flip the food until Player 1 lets you know it's ready. Otherwise you'll have to flip it back over to let the other side finish cooking. --Don't serve the food until it's ready. The food will just hit the rabbid in the face, and won't count as food served. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear with wings and will fly around the screen after you've served a certain number of food items. Collect them by touching them with the stylus. They will only stay on screen for about five seconds. -1st: Appears after serving 3 food items -2nd: Appears after serving 6 food items -3rd: Appears after serving 9 food items ******************************************************************************* In the Nile, Crocodile (MGINC) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will be the batter, attempting to hit a submarine with rabbids. The rabbids bounce on trampolines, and the batter can either hit lobs or straight hits toward the sub. The other player controls where the submarine is facing, and tries to keep the rabbids from hitting the sub. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Used like a viewfinder: Move submarine's window -Goal: Use the GamePad to turn the window of the sub to see the rabbids that are hit toward you. Avoid being hit by 10 (7 if playing alone) rabbids to win. -Tips --Pay attention to the arrows on the screen. They will tell you where to look. --If the batter runs to another trampoline, try to pay attention to which direction it ran, so that you can anticipate whether to look left or right. --There are two distinct sounds for when the batter hits the rabbid as a lob and when it hits straight at you. If the batter hits the rabbid straight at you, you will hear the ding of a bell. Lobs sound a whistle. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk) --Nunchuk control stick: Move batter --Swing Remote: Hit rabbid -Goal: Hit 10 rabbids onto the submarine's body (not windshield) in order to sink the sub. The batter can move between five trampolines to hit the rabbids as lobs or straight hits. -Tips --Hitting a rabbid on the butt will launch it straight towards the sub. --Hit lobs to make the sub look up. Then you can quickly change trampolines and hit the next rabbid straight at the sub. --Make sure to mix up the lobs and straight hits. +++++ Coins +++++ The rabbid that the batter hits toward you will change into a coin after a certain amount of time on the timer has passed. Simply look at the coin the same way you would if it were a rabbid in order to collect the coin. -1st: Appears after 1/4 of the time has passed -2nd: Appears after 1/2 of the time has passed -3rd: Appears after 3/4 of the time has passed ******************************************************************************* Lose Your Marbles (MGLYM) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will control three green balls, and will try to collect diamonds before time runs out or before being squashed by the golden ball. The other player will control the golden and will try to squash all three green balls. The first player to win two rounds wins the minigame. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Held like a tray: Roll green balls around -Goal: Tilt the GamePad like a tray to roll the green balls around. You have to collect ten diamonds without having all three green balls squashed by the golden ball, and before the timer runs out. Win two rounds to win the game. -Tips --The golden ball rolls faster, but cannot turn as quickly. --Don't group all of your green balls together. --Keep in mind where the green gates are located, since the golden ball can't roll through them. --Try to keep at least one of your green balls on a different ring than the golden ball. --Don't waste time trying to save one ball from being squashed when you could be collecting diamonds with another. ++++++++ Player 2 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii Remote) --Held horizontally --Tilt to move golden ball -Goal: Tilt the Remote to move the golden ball. Squash all three green balls or prevent them from collecting 10 diamonds to win the round. Win two rounds to win the game. -Tips --The golden ball can't fit through the green gates. --After gaining momentum, the golden doesn't maneuver turns as quickly as the the green balls. --The green balls cannot make immediate turns. If you're chasing a green ball, it cannot make a sudden turn through a green gate. --The golden ball rolls faster than the green balls. --Target clusters of green balls possible. +++++ Coins +++++ The coins appear in random locations after you've collected a certain number of jewels. They'll remain on screen until the end of the round. Collect them by rolling over them with one of the green balls. -1st: Appears after collecting 2 jewels -2nd: Appears after collecting 4 jewels -3rd: Appears after collecting 6 jewels ******************************************************************************* Octoblow (MGOCT) ******************************************************************************* -Competitive One player will control a fan, trying to blow the skating penguins into the side of the boat. The other player will control the boat, trying to avoid taking damage by moving side to side and by launching giant snowballs onto the rink. ++++++++ Player 1 ++++++++ -Controls (Wii U GamePad) --Held horizontally --Used like a viewfinder: Move camera --Microphone: Blow into to blow penguins into boat -Goal: Move the GamePad from side to side to see the skating penguins. Then blow into the microphone to launch the penguin toward the boat. Hit the boat with 8 penguins to win. -Tips --Try to wait until the penguin is lined up between you and the boat before launching it. --If you don't blow on the penguin head on, it will get launched toward the boat at an angle in the direction it was already skating. If it's already skating to the left, it will get launched at an angle to the left. --The penguins will bounce off of the snowballs, but they can continue toward the boat if you continue to blow on them.
--If you blow on a penguin head on, and keep blowing, you can essentially
launch it through a snowball.
--Try to launch your penguins in a shotgun spread to increase your odds of
hitting the boat.
--Snowballs will begin to melt away after five seconds. They'll also melt
away once they've been hit by a penguin.
++++++++
Player 2
++++++++
-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Nunchuk control stick: Move ship
--Swing Remote: Throw snowball
-Goal: Avoid being hit by the penguins that Player 1 blows toward you. Use the
Nunchuk's control stick to move the ship from side to side, and swing the
Remote to launch snowballs onto the ice rink. Avoid being hit by 8 penguins
to win.
-Tips
--Continuously launch snowballs onto the ice rink. You have to wait about a
second in between snowballs, but you won't run out of snow.
--The penguins won't immediately change to opposite directions because of the
fan (if they're going left, the fan won't make them go right). They can
bounce off of the snowballs at angles, though.
--You can see the penguins before Player 1, so you'll already know in which
direction they'll be able to be blown.
+++++
Coins

The coins appear in random locations after hitting the boat with a certain
number of penguins. They will remain on screen until the end of the minigame.
Collect them by launching a penguin through them.

One Ring to Buckle Them All (MGORB)
*******************************************************************************
-Cooperative
One player will spin the carousel looking for the unfastened riders. If you're
playing alone, you will also buckle the unfastened riders. If you're playing
with another person, the other player must buckle the unfastened riders.
++++++++
Player 1
++++++++
-Controls (Wii U GamePad)
--Held horizontally
--Stylus: Spin the carousel (will also fasten seatbelt if playing alone)
-Goal: Spin the carousel around with the stylus to find the riders with an
exclamation point on them. If you're playing alone, tap on the rider to call
the staff to buckle the rider. If you're playing with another person, you
must describe the rider to Player 2, and Player 2 must buckle the rider. Go
through five waves without losing a total of 8 or more riders.
-Tips
--Wave 1 has 2 unfastened riders with an 11-second timer.
--Wave 2 has 3 (4 when alone) unfastened riders with a 12-second timer.
--Wave 3 has 3 (5 when alone) unfastened riders with a 12-second timer.
--Wave 4 has 4 (5 when alone) unfastened riders with a 13-second timer.
--Wave 5 has 4 (6 when alone) unfastened riders with a 13-second timer.
--Don't tap on the riders who don't have an exclamation point, or else you'll
unbuckle them.
--The small exclamation point icon in the top-right corner of your screen
tells you how many unfastened riders remain.
--The carousel doesn't have to be at a complete stop for you to tap on an
unbuckled rider. It can be moving slightly.
--You don't have to wait for the staff to buckle the unfastened rider before,
going to the next rider. Once you tap a rider, move on in search of more.
--If you're playing with another person, it might be easier to simply count
the number of seats to the left or right of where that player is. Trying
to describe the rider can be too time-consuming in the later waves. If you
do this, you must start with the same rider, though.
++++++++
Player 2
++++++++
-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Nunchuk control stick: Move staff
--Swing Remote: Buckle/unbuckle rider
-Goal: Player 1 will spin the carousel looking for unfastened riders and will
describe the players to you. You must move the staff with the control stick
and buckle the riders by swinging the Remote. Swinging the Remote on a
fastened rider will unbuckle his seat, though. Survive five waves without
losing a total of 8 or more riders to win.
-Tips
--Wave 1 has 2 unfastened riders with an 11-second timer.
--Wave 2 has 3 unfastened riders with a 12-second timer.
--Wave 3 has 3 unfastened riders with a 12-second timer.
--Wave 4 has 4 unfastened riders with a 13-second timer.
--Wave 5 has 4 unfastened riders with a 13-second timer.
--If you buckle an unfastened rider, you'll see a thumbs up above the rider.
--If you unbuckle a fastened rider, you'll see a thumbs down above the rider.
--It might be easier if Player 1 counts the number of seats to your left or
right to describe the unfastened riders. You both have to start with the
same reference point, though.
+++++
Coins
+++++
The coins appear with wings after a certain amount of time on the timer has
passed. They will stay on your screen for five seconds before disappearing.
You can collect them by touching them with the stylus (even during the short
cutscene in between waves).

--Held horizontally
--Left joystick/control pad: Move thief
-Goal: Use the left joystick or control pad to move around the screen to get 15
rubies while avoiding the ghost.
-Tips
--Even though you can see the whole screen, the ghost can only see what's lit
by its lantern.
--The ghost can't move when it throws its lantern.
--Pay attention to the directions from which the ghost can come
--Try to always have at least two means of escape, so that the ghost doesn't
know exactly which way you've gone.
--It's not a big deal if the ghost can find you with its lantern, as long as
it doesn't know where you're going.

Player 2
++++++++
-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Nunchuk control stick: Move ghost
--Remote: Aim target
--A button: Throw lantern

--You can hold A and move the Remote around. You don't have to target an
area first before throwing the lantern.
--Player 1 can see where you are at all times. You'll have to anticipate
where Player 1 is going.

line. Have the princess swallow 5 dragons to win.
-Tips
--Trampolines cannot be drawn above the blue dashed line.
--Try to draw the trampolines as close to the blue dashed line as possible to
get the knights onto the dragons faster.
--Try to get more knights on a single dragon than multiple knights on
multiple dragons.
--You can draw up to three trampolines at a time.
--Trampolines will stay on the screen for up to two seconds or until a knight
bounces off of them.
--You can ricochet the knights off of the walls.

Prevent the princess from swallowing 5 dragons before the time runs out to
win.
-Tips
--The dragons will fall faster when they have more knights on them.
--When a dragon is close to being swallowed, it will have a red outline.
--If a dragon has many knights on it, and you have enough remaining dragons
to spare, don't waste your time trying to save it.

One player will roll the barrel of gunpowder around, while the other player
tries to keep the boxes of fireworks from exploding.
This minigame has three possible layouts, each of them containing 10 boxes of
fireworks.
-Layout 1: Two L-shaped benches in the middle of the board
-Layout 2
--Two long vertical benches on each side of the middle of the board
--Two short horizontal benches on the top and bottom of the middle of the
board
-Layout 3 (unlocked with Uplay points)
--Two short horizontal benches along the side walls
--Two backslash (/) benches near the inner part of the middle
--Two forward slash (\) benches near the outer part of the middle
++++++++
Player 1
++++++++
-Controls (Wii U GamePad)
--Held vertically
--Stylus: Move barrel
-Goal: Point to a spot on the screen with the stylus, and the rabbid will roll
the barrel in a straight line to that point (as long as a bench is not in the
way). As the barrel rolls, it will leave a gunpowder trail followed by a
spark (the trail will automatically be lit after a certain length). If the
spark touches a box of fireworks, the fireworks will explode. You have to
blow up 8 boxes to win.
-Tips
--Avoid rolling the barrel into the spark. The barrel will blow up, you'll
lose the gunpowder trail you've laid, and you'll have to wait a few seconds
before being able to start again.
--You can have multiple sparks going if your gunpowder crosses itself. Use
these multiple sparks to go after more than one box at the same time.
--The gunpowder needs to actually go through the box, not just close to it.

the spark. Pick up the boxes by holding A and toss them by releasing A.
Prevent 8 boxes from being blown up before the timer expires in order to win.
-Tips
--Your rabbid runs much quicker than the rabbid pushing the barrel.
--Toss boxes onto the other side of obstacles if the barrel is near you.
--Try not to keep the boxes grouped together.
+++++

-Competitive
One player will surf a path that has four lanes while dodging fireballs. The
other player will launch fireballs down the path attempting to hit the first
player.
This minigame has four possible layouts. The actual course remains the same,
each being 95 seconds long. The difference in layouts is in the music that is
being played and the beats that Player 2 must hit.
-Layout 1: "Star Cheap Discovery"
-Layout 2: "Don't Stop the Party!"
-Layout 3: "Dance All Night"
-Layout 4: "Crazy Little Thing"
++++++++
Player 1
++++++++
-Controls (Wii U GamePad)
--Held horizontally
--Used like a steering wheel: Move surfer
-Goal: Steer left and right to avoid the fireballs. They can come down four
possible lanes, and up to three at a time for a given row. Reach the finish
line without being hit by 7 fireballs in order to win.
-Tips
--Although the fireballs must be in a distinct lane, the rabbid can occupy
multiple lanes at once. Only a part of the rabbid needs to be in a
particular lane to be hit.
--Pay attention to the color bands at the top of the screen when you can
see it. If they're green, it means fireballs will be coming down one or
more lanes. The left band represents the left two lanes, and the right
band represents the right two lanes.

-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Flick Remote: Register note on right side
--Flick Nunchuk: Register note on left side
-Goal: Flick the Remote and Nunchuck when the green bars are lined up with the
orange box near the end of the ship in order to send flames at the surfer.
The more in sync you are, the more fireballs the surfer will have to dodge.
If the surfer gets hit by 7 fireballs, then you win.
-Tips
--If you flick the Remote or Nunchuk when one green bar is perfectly lined up
with the orange box, you'll send two fireballs.
--If you flick the Remote and Nunchuk when two green bars are perfectly lined
up with the orange box, you'll send three fireballs.

-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Nunchuk control stick: Move totem pole
--Flick Remote: Hit rabbids
-Goal: Use the control stick to move around and flick the Remote to hit the
rabbids that try to climb on you. If you allow 6 rabbids to climb onto you
before the timer runs out, then you lose.
-Tips
--You can only hit the rabbids that are in front of you. Don't let them get
behind you.
--Try to avoid staying in the middle of the ring. Stay closer to one of the
edges, so that you have directions against which to defend.
--The rabbids don't have to be running at you to get on you. If you walk
past a standing rabbid, it can get on you.

that matches both on the front of one rabbid and the behind of another.
++++++++
Player 1
++++++++
-Controls (Wii U GamePad)
--Held horizontally
--Stylus: Lift skirt
-Goal: Use the stylus to lift the rabbids' skirts from behind. If you're
playing alone, pictures will begin to fill in the picture bar on the left
side of the screen. You'll need to match one of the rabbids' matching
pictures, and hold the skirt up for a couple of seconds.
If you are playing with another person, you will try to match one of your
pictures with one of the pictures of the other player. You and the other
player must hold the matching skirts up for a couple of seconds. Complete 5
matches to win.
-Tips
--When playing alone, don't wait for all of the pictures to fill in the
picture bar. Half of the time, the matching picture will be one of the
first four.
--Try to maintain an order in checking under the skirts instead of randomly
lifting up skirts.
--When playing with another person, you'll need to verbally communicate your
pictures to the other person, or vice versa. Even though you can probably
see the TV screen fine, the other person possibly cannot see your GamePad
screen as easily.
--Work in blocks of four with the other player to minimize the number of
items being remembered at one time. For example, check your first four
rabbids against his or her first four rabbids. Then check your second set
of four rabbids against his or her first set of four rabbids. Then check
your second set of four rabbids against his or her first set of four
rabbids. Finally, check your second set of four against his or her second
set of four.

Player 2
++++++++
-Controls (Wii Remote)
--Remote: Aim at rabbid
--A button: Lift rabbid's skirt
-Goal: Aim at the rabbids with the Remote and lift their skirts with the A
button. You must find the rabbid that has a picture on its front that matches
the picture on one of Player 1's rabbids. Work with each other to describe
the pictures to find the matching rabbids, then hold their skirts up at the
same time.
-Tips
--Try to maintain an order in checking under the skirts instead of randomly
lifting up skirts.
--It may be easier to have only one person say his or her pictures out loud,
while the other person checks his or her rabbids for a match.
--Work in blocks of four with the other player to minimize the number of
items being remembered at one time. For example, check your first four
rabbids against his or her first four rabbids. Then check your second set
of four rabbids against his or her first set of four rabbids. Then check

rabbids. Finally, check your second set of four against his or her second
set of four.

around the screen for five seconds before disappearing. Collect the coins by
touching them with the stylus.

Wet the Bed (MGWTB)
*******************************************************************************
-Competitive
One player will trace the outlines of images in the bed of the garden, while
the other player tries to erase the outlines.
++++++++
Player 1
++++++++
-Controls (Wii U GamePad)
--Held horizontally
--Stylus: Trace outline
-Goal: Trace the outlines of the various images that appear in the bed of the
garden. Successfully complete 7 outlines to win.
-Tips
--The outline is only a guide. The outline does not have to be there when
you complete the trace. If your trace resembles the outline closely
enough, then you will get credit for a successful completion.
--Try to target outlines that are further from the rabbid, since you can
trace more of the outline before it can erase anything.
--When tracing an outline, try to start with the most detailed or smallest
part of the outline, such as the stem for the apple, since these parts
are harder to capture if the outline is erased.
--Try to trace in a direction that is closest to the rabbid, so that part is
already done if the rabbid starts to erase the outline.
++++++++
Player 2
++++++++
-Controls (Wii Remote + Nunchuk)
--Nunchuk control stick: Move rabbid
--Hold A button: Erase shape
-Goal: Move the rabbid around with the control stick and hold the A button to
erase the outlines to make it more difficult for Player 1 to trace the
pictures. If Player 1 completely traces 7 outlines, then you lose.
-Tips
--You don't have to erase the entire outline. You only have to erase enough
to make Player 1 unable to correctly trace the picture.
--Erase the most detailed parts of an outline first, since these are harder
to trace.
--If Player 1 is nearly complete with a trace, don't waste time trying to
erase that outline when you could be erasing another.
+++++
Coins
+++++
Flying coins will appear after you've successfully traced a certain number of
outlines. They'll fly around for about 5 seconds before disappearing. Collect
them by touching them with the stylus.
-1st: Appears after tracing 1 outline
-2nd: Appears after tracing 3 outlines
-3rd: Appears after tracing 5 outlines
