I got all of the items done and some of the monsters done. The items are still missing the prices and some values, the monsters on the other hand has all the information but I'm still working on the list of monsters, I only have a few done now. I'm going to try to add more ASAP in the next update. [Version 0.71 ] 12/8/2003 I made an error when I was typing this FAQs out, and it messed the format up. I think I got it fixed now though, this is my first FAQs I've done so I'm still experimenting with this. [Version 0.80 ] 12/22/2003 I made some corrections in the FAQs, from some help though. I completed more information for the monsters also I changed the ASCII title a bit. I hope to get more of the monsters done in the next update. I took prices out of the items because Tibia is growing to fast to keep up with. I also added a special effect to the items that had one. =============================================================================== <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> 2 ABOUT THIS FAQS <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> =============================================================================== I wrote this FAQs about Items & Monsters because I was bored one day and was think about the game Tibia. Tibia is a great game to play there is many items to get and plenty of monsters to fight with, so many that I decided to make a FAQs on it. This FAQs will name and explain most of the items and the monsters, it will also give strategist to kill some of the monsters that you might be struggling with. I hope that this FAQs will help you in your adventures across the world of Tibia. =============================================================================== <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> 3 MONSTERS <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> =============================================================================== Here is a list of all the monsters in the game Tibia. The name of the monster, the life, the experiences you get, the loot, the attacks it uses, how much mana to summon it and to convince it and strategies to beat the monsters are listed here. I'll start with the weakest monsters and work my way up to the strongest ones. <><>Rabbit<><> LIFE: 15 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON 220 MANA TO CONVINCE: 220 LOOT: Meats, Carrots and Eggs INFORMATION: Rabbits are the most easiest monster you can fight, though they aren't worth the effort no exp just food. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it. <><>Dog<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON: 220 MANA TO CONVINCE: 220 LOOT: Nothing INFORMATION: Dogs are just like rabbits but they have 5 more hp, but dogs don't give any food. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it. <><>Sheep<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON: 250 MANA To Convince: 250 LOOT: Meats INFORMATION: Also very much similar to rabbits. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it. <><>Black Sheep<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON: 250 MANA TO CONVINCE: 250 LOOT: Meats INFORMATION: Just like the sheep but it's black. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it. <><>Pig<><> LIFE: 25 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON: 255 MANA TO CONVINCE: 255 LOOT: Meats INFORMATION: Just like a sheep, It just gives meat. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it. <><>Deer<><> LIFE: 25 EXPERIENCE: 0 MANA TO SUMMON: 260 MANA TO CONVINCE: 260 LOOT: Meats and Hams INFORMATION: A deer give no experience again, but they give up lots of meat and ham to eat. STRATEGIES: ALL: Just run up to it and smack it, this ones a bit faster then the rest of the none fighting monsters. Try to corner it then kill it. <><>Rat<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 5 MANA TO SUMMON: 200 MANA TO CONVINCE: 200 LOOT: Gold and Cheeses INFORMATION: The first monster that everyone fights that actually fights back, this monster is very easy for people who know what they are doing. Rats can kill newbies very easily if they are not prepared for it. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: First make sure your in a tunnel path where only one rat can hit you at a time, many rats can kill you very quickly if your just starting out. Just keep hitting it until it's dead then you can take on the other ones, don't try to take on more then 2 if your character is new, you can start taking more out at a time when you get stronger or better equipment. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you should be able to kill rats with no problem. <><>Snake<><> LIFE: 15 EXPERIENCE: 10 MANA TO SUMMON: 205 MANA TO CONVINCE: 205 LOOT: Nothing INFORMATION: Another Easy monster to kill, for how easy the snakes are to kill they give good experience for it. Watch out these snakes can poison the unprotected person, although the poison will stop after it deals about 15 hp, it can kill people that are weakened if it poisons you. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: If it's one on one you should be able to take the snake out with no problem, trust me you won't find that many snakes together that will put up a challenge. If you do find a lot together just try to take them out one at a time, most of the time you won't even get poison. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill snakes with no problem. <><>Cave Rat<><> LIFE: 30 EXPERIENCE: 10 MANA TO SUMMON: 250 MANA TO CONVINCE: 250 LOOT: Gold, Cheeses and Jackets INFORMATION: This monster can pose a challenge, since newbies can meet them early on in the sewers. Though later on when you have better equipment and higher levels this monster should be a piece of cake. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Do the same as a rat, but be more careful. Take one on at a time, no more then two to start with, until your stronger. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill cave rats with no problem. Although I've never seen them on Main Island. <><>Spider<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 12 MANA TO SUMMON: 210 MANA TO CONVINCE: 210 LOOT: Gold INFORMATION: This monster is really easy even for newbies, and is a great way to level up early on. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: With spiders you almost can't go wrong if you're fighting it one on one thought if you do get caught with a bunch they can deal some damage to you. Most of the time there will be a poison spider with a small group of spiders, that's the hard guy of the bunch. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill spiders with no problem. <><>Wolf<><> LIFE: 25 EXPERIENCE: 18 MANA TO SUMMON: 255 MANA TO CONVINCE: 255 LOOT: Meats INFORMATION: This monster is good for exp and it also gives you some food, but the wolf can hit you hard if you're weak or if there are two of them. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Try to fight a wolf one on one like you usually do, they can get your life real low if you let other monster or more wolves hit you when you're trying to kill them. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill wolves with no problem. <><>Bug<><> LIFE: 29 EXPERIENCE: 18 MANA TO SUMMON: 250 MANA TO CONVINCE: 250 LOOT: Gold and Cherries INFORMATION: This monster very much like the spider, very easy to kill and gives good experiences. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Bugs aren't to strong so you can take them head on, though they are usually found with other monsters like spiders and poison spiders. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill bugs with no problem. <><>Troll<><> LIFE: 50 EXPERIENCE: 20 MANA TO SUMMON: 290 MANA TO CONVINCE: 290 LOOT: Gold, Leather Boots, Leather Helmets, Wooden Shields, Hand Axes, Spears, Ropes and Meats INFORMATION: This is your first monster that resembles a human, they have high defense at the time you fight them though later on you can kill them really fast. Trolls drop lots of armor that you can use or sell, ropes are the most rarest thing they would drop. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Trolls don't hit for that much, but they can lower your life at a good rate, I recommend to take one on at a time also try not to get trapped. Having a couple of friends to help you take a troll down can be a good idea. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill trolls with no problem. <><>Poison Spider<><> LIFE: 26 EXPERIENCE: 22 MANA TO SUMMON: 270 MANA TO CONVINCE: 270 LOOT: Gold INFORMATION: A poison spider, is true to its name in the fact that it will poison you if you get hit from it. When you're a newbie the poison spiders can do a lot of damage to you and it will also do more damage because of the poison. The experience you net from this monster is great when you're on Newbie Island. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Also try to take this monster one on one because it can deal a great amount of damage to the rookie fighter. You will most likely find the poison spiders teamed up with other spiders and bugs, many people die from groups like these, just don't get trapped. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill poison spiders with no problem. <><>Frost Troll<><> LIFE: 55 EXPERIENCE: 23 MANA TO SUMMON: 300 MANA TO CONVINCE: 300 LOOT: Gold, Clubs, Rapiers, Spears, Wooden Shields, Coats, Twigs and Fishes INFORMATION: Personally I have never found a frost troll, but they look like regular trolls to me, just blue. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't think you can fight frost trolls on Rookgard. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill Frost trolls with no problem. <><>Bear<><> LIFE: 80 EXPERIENCE: 23 MANA TO SUMMON: 300 MANA TO CONVINCE: 300 LOOT: Meats and Hams INFORMATION: This animal fights back and does a great job at it too. The bear takes 2 tiles to fit it on because of its size. Bears are great source of food but for the length it takes to kill it, not for the experience. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Like always don't take bears on more then one at a time, or things might get a little too dangerous for you. Bears hit real hard when you're a newbie so it might be a good idea to take on bears with friends. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill bears without much trouble. <><>Wasp<><> LIFE: 35 EXPERIENCE: 24 MANA TO SUMMON: 280 MANA TO CONVINCE: 280 LOOT: Nothing INFORMATION: The Wasp is one of the fastest monsters in the game. The wasp has low attack and defense, but it can poison you too. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: You will never be able to out run a wasp on Rookgard, so don't run unless you can go up a floor or down one. If you must try to kill it, beware about the poison. ALL VOCATIONS: By the time you get on Main Island you'll be able to kill wasps without much trouble. <><>Goblin<><> LIFE: 50 EXPERIENCE: 25 MANA TO SUMMON: 290 MANA TO CONVINCE: 290 LOOT: Gold, Daggers, Leather Helmets, Leather Armors, Small Stones, Small Axes, Moldy Cheeses and Fishes INFORMATION: I haven't much experience fighting goblins so I don't know much about them. I do know that they can shoot stones and attack in melee also. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't know really, but I guess take it on one on one, sound like troll that can shoot stones though. ALL VOCATIONS: You should be able to take out goblins when you get to Main Island, they shouldn't give you too much trouble. <><>Swamp Troll<><> LIFE: 55 EXPERIENCE: 25 MANA TO SUMMON: 320 MANA TO CONVINCE: 320 LOOT: Gold, Daggers, Torches, Leather Boots, Fishes and Fishing Rods INFORMATION: I've never fought a swamp troll before so I don't know any strategies to kill them, I've also heard that they can poison you if you get hit from one. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't know really, but I guess take it on one on one, sound like troll but can poison you too.(Not sure about the poison) ALL VOCATIONS: You should be able to take out swamp trolls when you get to Main Island, they shouldn't give you too much trouble. <><>Orc<><> LIFE: 70 EXPERIENCE: 25 MANA TO SUMMON: 300 MANA TO CONVINCE: 300 LOOT: Gold, Studded Armors, Studded Helmets, Studded Shields, Sabers, Axes and Meats INFORMATION: Orc's are hard hitters and can take lots of damage before going down. A good source of loot when you're on Rookgard, though on Main the loot isn't worth it. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I wouldn't recommend to fight an orc until you have some good equipment like the studded set. If you have that you should be able to take them down without much of a hassle. ALL VOCATIONS: On Main orcs shouldn't be doing that much to you if you have some fair equipment. They might still hurt you a bit and it might still take awhile to take them down due to their high life. <><>Polar Bear<><> LIFE: 85 EXPERIENCE: 28 MANA TO SUMMON: 315 MANA TO CONVINCE: 315 LOOT: Meats and Hams INFORMATION: Another monster I've never fought but to me it looks like a normal bear to me but has a bit more life. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't know really, but I guess take it on like it was a bear. ALL VOCATIONS: I guess you should be able to take out polar bears when you get to Main Island, they shouldn't give you too much trouble. <><>Winter Wolf<><> LIFE: 20 EXPERIENCE: 30 MANA TO SUMMON: 260 MANA TO CONVINCE: 260 LOOT: Meats INFORMATION: Another monster I've never fought but to me it looks like a normal wolf to me but a bit stronger. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't think you can fight winter wolfs on Rookgard. ALL VOCATIONS: I guess you should be able to take out winter wolfs when you get to Main Island, they shouldn't give you too much trouble. <><>Lion<><> LIFE: 80 EXPERIENCE: 30 MANA TO SUMMON: 320 MANA TO CONVINCE: 320 LOOT: Meat and Ham INFORMATION: A Strong hitter yet very similar to the bear. Lions give food and a bit of experience. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I don't think you can fight lions on Rookgard. KNIGHT: Try to fight the lion one on one, though you will probably find them in groups of 2 or 3. Keep on hitting it and heal when need. PALADIN: Keep out of its reach and snipe it with arrow, or bolt. SORCERER & DRUID: If you are strong enough and if there is only one fight it physical, or if you can't or use HMMs ( Heavy Magic Missiles). If there is a group you could use fireballs. Heal if you get hurt. <><>Skeleton<><> LIFE: 50 EXPERIENCE: 35 MANA TO SUMMON: 300 MANA TO CONVINCE: 300 LOOT: Golds, Legion Helmets, Hatchets, Maces, Brass Shields, Torches and Swords INFORMATION: Probably the first undead enemy you will fight. Skeletons can lifedrain which means that it will recover some of it's life, and it's cannot be blocked. Skeletons give some of the best loot you can find on Rookgard, but on Main the loot isn't as good. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: I would recommend fighting skeletons until you have some real good equipment and a high level. You will most likely be finding skeletons in groups so it would be wise if you had a group of your own friends to help kill them. If you fight them one on one, beware of their strong attacks you might end up running away from it. KNIGHT: Skeletons are easy for a knight that's properly equipped. If you don't want to get hurt try to fight the skeletons one at a time, because you will most likely find skeletons in groups. PALADIN: Keep out of its reach and snipe it with arrow, or bolt. SORCERER & DRUID: If you are strong enough and if there is only one to fight, fight it physical, or if you can't or use HMMs ( Heavy Magic Missiles). If there is a group you could use fireballs. Heal if you get hurt. <><>Orc Spearman<><> LIFE: 105 EXPERIENCE: 38 MANA TO SUMMON: 310 MANA TO CONVINCE: 310 LOOT: Gold, Studded Legs, Machetes, Spears and Meats INFORMATION: Probably one of the first ranged attackers you will find on your adventure. Ranged attacks can kill you real fast, you have to be careful. Orc spearmen's drop the best legs you can find on Rookgrad. STRATEGIES: NEWBIE: Normally when an unexpected, unprotected player finds an orc spearman he is dead, unless he can find a place to run and hide. Orc spearman's can do up to 30 around, so they can kill you fast. KNIGHT: Run up to the orc spearman and keep hitting it, if you kill it fast enough it shouldn't have hurt you. heal after the fight of during it if you have light healing as a hotkey, or if your fast. PALADIN: Stay within shooting distance, and hope you kill it before it hits you. Don't forget to heal if injured. SORCERER & DRUID: I recommend HMMs unless you have real good equipment and can kill it good physically, don't forget heal in the fight. =============================================================================== <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> 4 WEAPONS <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> =============================================================================== Here is a list of all the weapons in the game Tibia.
