If you're like me, you downloaded this when it got put on Ps Plus as a free game. At first I thought it was just a cheap knockoff of Monster Hunter, but after putting a little time on it I realized that I wasn't anywhere close. Sure it has the same basic concept of going out into the world to fight big monsters, but this game is rich with its own play style. Which is what instantly sucked me in. The options for different ways of play are massive, which is why I decided to write a guide. When you start up the game you are thrown into a fight against a Leviathan. This huge water snake is really strong, but you are playing as Magusar, who is completely overpowered. Did I mention he's also invincible at the moment? Even though you can get hit, you won't take any damage. Just pound away and eventually the opening credits will start. Watch a few more cut scenes and you'll be ready to start your adventure! But before you start there are a few things that you should familiarize yourself with to make the initial gameplay a ton easier. 3)Librom [3.01] First you need to talk to Librom. Here you will have three options 1)Librom This is where you'll spend most of your time. Yes, he is a creepy book that allows you to live his experiences, but that's the point of the game. Here you have three options: Read Journal, Talk to Librom, and Network. a) Read Journal The main part of the game. Here you can access Mad Chronicle, Portraiture, Lore, and Post Script. Mad Chronicle This is where you will pick your missions. More info in Missions. Portraiture This is where you get ready for battle. More info in Portraiture. Lore It will give you information on everything in the game. Most of it isn't helpful, but can be fun to read if you like delving into the lore of the game. Postscript Librom's sort of personal eulogy. b) Talk to Librom Basically an excuse to listen to the book rattle on about nothing helpful, though it can elicit a smile if you're bored. c) Network The best part of Soul Sacrifice is playing with other people! This is where you'll go to do just that. There are 5 options here: Multiplayer, Peddler, Discovery Pact, Comm Settings, and Posting a) Multiplayer Where you pick how you want to play multiplayer. Play Online Play online with anyone on the server. You can either host a room or join someone elses. It's worth noting that only the host gets to pick the missions. Ad Hoc Play Play with your friends over Ad Hoc. Same options as before, just restricted to local play and you don't need wireless internet. Sorcerer Stats Very useful. Here you can see anything and everything stat wise about your character and every other sorcerer that you have played with. It can be helpful when you're trying to get the black, white, or gold versions of your favorite raiment. b) Peddler You can share your (S) offerings with friends via Ad Hoc here. There are plenty of restrictions though, like you can only share one offering at a time and you can't share Cursed Part's. In the very beginning it can be a little helpful, but it loses its usefulness quickly. c)Discovery Pact I'm sure exactly how to work this. I know it's a way to get extra Lacrima using the camera, but by the time I started playing with it I had more Lacrima than I could spend. d) Comm Settings You can change the settings for what gets shared here. Ad Hoc Settings There are ten different groups that you can change to. The default is group 1. Used whe there are a lot of people playing locally. Stats Settings You can choose whether you want your sorcerer's play info to be public or private. Activity Settings You can choose to post or not post your activity about Completing Phantom Quests, Play Time, Top Score Results, Sacrifices and Saves, Fulfilled Pacts, Aquired Offerings, Acquired Soul/Life Essences, High-Rank Finishes on your sorcerer's stats page. EULA Here you can read the End User License Agreement e) Posting Here you can link to twitter and post about your latest acheivements 2)Log & Settings Here you can Save, Change the Options, or Return to the Title Screen. Save Where you save the game. There is a prompt to save after completing a mission, so you won't be coming here very often. Options Language Settings You can turn subtitles on or off here. Also it displays the voice language. You can't change that though Camera Settings You can change the Basic Camera Controls and the Aiming Camera Controls here. It give you the option of the four combinations of normal x and y and inverted x and y for each. Camera Speed You can change the Basic Camera Speed and the Aiming Camera Speed. Control Settings Camera Control Type lets you choose whether you want to move with the D-Pad or the left directional stick. Target-Lock on Camera Controls allows you to decide if you want the L Button to lock on to the closest Monster when you press it or when you hold it down. Sound Settings You can change the level of Sound Effects, Music, and Voice here. Other Settings You can switch the functions of R and X here. Also you can pick which progression you want a Monster's health to appear. Either Green/Yellow/Orange/Red or Blue/LightBlue/Yellow/Red. At the end of each tab you also have the option to restore the defaults for just that tab, so don't be afraid to experiment. You can always go change it back later. Title Screen Takes you back to the title screen. Basically only used to switch characters 3) Fight Magusar The final boss of the story. You can fight him at any time, but you really need rank L offerings before you think about trying it. But there is no penalty for dying, except the lost time, so feel free to go kick him if you feel like it. You'll fight Magusar a few times if you play all the way through the story. This is nothing like those times. He uses different elemental Root (Tri) that have long range. To protect himself at close range, he will summon three Flamefiend Hearts. I wouldn't recommend getting close to them; they hurt and will knock you down. Once he gets down to half health he will transform into a Dragon and all your offerings will be restored. Run up close before he has a chance to breathe fire on you. Be careful of the dancing talons. If you move too far away, he will fly into the air, then dive bomb you. Stay on his back leg and you'll dodge most of his attacks. Knock him over and wail on him. A Summon spell is really good for this. Save him to unlock Sanguine Angelshot, Sacrifice him to unlock Sanguine Demonshot. 4)Portraiture [4.01] There are six tabs here: Appearance, Allies, Change Name, Satchel, Right Arm, and Black Rites. a) Appearance: This is where you change your Gender, Head, Raiment, and Voice. Don't worry about picking something that you will hate later. All four of these can be changed at any time later. You'll also unlock more raiment's as you play, so you'll want to keep looking back here to see if you get one you like better. b) Name: Just like appearance, you can change your name whenever you want. All for the low price of 50 Lacrima! ******** Lacrima******** This would probably be a good time to talk about Lacrima. Every game has its currency and soul sacrifice is no different. The difference here is that you don't use Lacrima to buy spells or raiments. Instead you use it to change your name, undo the negative effect of your black rite (More on that in a bit), and revive dead allies. The unique thing about Lacrima is that you don't instantly get it at the end of a mission. Instead you must go back to Librom and he will ask if you have checked for tears lately. Yes, Lacrima is the tears of that creepy book. Either swipe the screen or hit X to collect the tears and you have some Lacrima! Early on you can spend more than you make, but quickly you'll get past that by the time you complete the Sortira arc. *********************** c) Allies This is where you can pick which allies you want to accompany you in the Avalon Pacts. There are three different types of allies: Dark, Neutral, and Divine. If you sacrifice an ally or they die and you don't revive them before the mission ends, then you will have to spend Lacrima to resurrect them. Also Dark and Divine allies are very picky. Dark Allies insist on sacrificing Archfiends and Divine allies insist on saving Archfiends. If you ignore their preferences too much, then they will leave you and you will have to spend Lacrima to get them back. Allies also have unique offerings. At the beginning they will only have three, but as you do more missions with them, they will gain affinity. Once their affinity gets high enough, they will unlock a new offering that they can use. d) Satchel This is where your offerings are. It is also where you can boost or fuse new offerings. I'll go into that in more depth in the Offerings section e)Right Arm Your right arm is where you carve sigils that boost your sorcerer. Don't be shy about equipping a sigil. Once you get the Essences you need to unlock it, then it's yours. Essences don't get spent by equipping a sigil, so experiment away! There are four different colors of sigil. Each corresponds to the type of arm it works best with: blue is Divine, red is Dark, green is Neutral, and gray is any.Most Sigils have a secondary effect that requires the appropriate arm. No difference between your life and dark levels nets a Neutral arm. 1 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl I of the higher arm. 5 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl II of the higher arm. 10 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl III of the higher arm. 15 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl IV of the higher arm. 90 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl V of the higher arm. 98 lvl diff between life and dark = lvl VI of the higher arm. The last two are considered Holy and Chaos mode I and II. Once you reach Holy or Chaos mode, your head and raiment will change to the sprite of that mode and you won't be able to change it. Rewrite Level This is also where you can lower your Life or Magic level. This allows you to relevel a sorcerer to get a different arm level. Lowering your level does cost Lacrima at the rate of 20 Lacrima per level dropped. It is worth noting that while you can pay to lower your level. You cannot pay to raise it. f) Black Rites These are your big moves that you can only activate once per fight. To activate a black right, first you must take enough damage without healing. You need to be down to about 20-25% of your health. Once you can activate your black rite, you can heal up without losing the option to activate it. There are seven Black rites, each one does something different and has a different negative effect that you must pay 100 Lacrima after the battle to get rid of. ========================================================================== Black Rite Unlocked Effect Negative Effect Infernus Beginning Map wide Heat damage Defense -50% Gorgon Life lv 20 Piercing shot Decreased vision Vulcan Life lv 40 Allies can pull a sword Max health halved out of your body. Angelus DLC Map wide damage to Decreased evasion enemies, healing to allies Can't roll ========================================================================== 5)Mad Chronicle [5.01] ********The Sorcerer's Ordeal******** The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 1 Location:Lake Andromeda East Rewards: Healing Seed (S) Axe Edge Swordsman Icebrand Monster: Goblin Difficulty: .5 Stars Objective: Kill 6 fiends Pretty easy first mission. Goblins can jump at you as well as burrow underground. Use this mission to acclimate yourself to the controls and what your offerings do. It's a good place to learn to use Mind's eye. To activate Mind's Eye press the down arrow on the D-Pad. This will change how you see things and make you a pacifist. The upside is that you can see a Monster's health by its color while in Mind's Eye. You can also see useful places on the map. Once you are comfortable, kill the 6 fiends to move on. Good place to farm for Healing seed (S) early on. The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 2 Location: Arboreal City Babylon East Rewards: Ice Carving Lid (S), Grave Clod (S), Boulderbug Shell (S) Monster: Orc Difficulty: .5 Stars Objective: Kill 6 fiends Orcs only have a jump attack, but more health than the Goblins. Burn them down to move on. The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 3 Location: Plains of Olympia Rewards: Iron Pinwheel (S) Firetree Root (S) Firetree Root (Tri) Monster: Jack-o'-Lantern Difficulty: 1.5 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend Your first Archfiend! Kill the fiends before you run up to the Sorcerer. These things can ninja you from the back and cause problems, best to get rid of them first. Once the fiends are dead approach the Sorcerer to watch it transform into the Jack-o'-Lantern. In Mind's Eye you can see where the Fiend's Cursed Part's are. On the Jack-o'-Lantern they are the Dark Red circles by it's shoulders and head. If you attack the Cursed Parts enough, they will break and give you the chance of getting that Archfiend's cursed offering. The Jack-o'-Lantern is weak to Ice, so use your Swordsman Icebrand to wail on it. The Jack-o'-Lantern has three main attacks: a fire homing on the ground, a melee swipe, and a charge where it bounces around the map trying to run you over. Dodge it's attacks as best you can and keep hitting it. If you get caught on fire, do as you would in real life and roll until you are no longer on fire. Once you beat him you have the option to Save or Sacrifice the Sorcerer. Saving him will give you a Jack-o'Lantern LE and access to an ally in the Avalon Pacts. Sacrifice him will give you a Jack-o'Lantern SE. It introduces you to one of the best offerings at this point in the game *Iron Pinwheel (S)* you might want to farm a bunch of these because they will help in the next few maps. The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 4 Location: Plains of Olympia Hills Rewards: Healing Seed (S) Irondrake Egg (S) Imp Pitchfork Monster: Arriviste Ghoul Difficulty: .5 Stars Objective: Kill 6 fiends Arriviste Ghoul introduce you to flying Monsters. I hope you equipped some of the pinwheels, otherwise you are going to have a headache trying to get them to land, so you can hit them. The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 5 Location: Valhalla Abbey Sanctuary Rewards: Iron Pinwheel (S) Mole Claw (S) Bolt Burial Clod (S) Monster: Harpy Difficulty: 1.5 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend Your second Archfiend is the Harpy. It can fly, requiring you to use either the pinwheel or Irondrake Egg to hit it while it's airborne. The Harpy is weak to Fire, so you might want to bring some Firetree Roots. When it tries to suck you up, run away from it. It has a melee swipe and poison spit. Just like being burned, roll until you get rid of the poison. Save the Harpy for its LE and an ally or Sacrifice it for its SE. The Sorcerer's Ordeal Ch. 6 Location: Valhalla Abbey Sanctuary Rewards: Regenesis Seed (S) Monsternip (S) Stone Axe Edge Monster: Sortiara Difficulty: 1.5 Stars Objective: Kill the sorcerer Your first sorcerer fight. This is a tough one if you don't do some planning or leveling. Both your life and magic should be about level 9 by now. Also Sortiara uses short to midranged Frost attacks. If you get in midrange, she will freeze you, then kill you before you can get out. Stay at long range and burn her down with pinwheels. Once you do enough damage, she will fall down and you will have the option to save or sacrifice her. If you have pity on her and save her you'll get a Mad Witch LE and lose half your health, then she'll resurrect and continue to try to kill you. In order to complete the mission, you must sacrifice her and get the Mad Witch SE. Note: You can only get one essence per time you fight her, so if you get a LE, then you won't get a SE after you sacrifice her. Congratulations! You've finished the tutorial and can now continue to the rest of the story or do Avalon Pacts. ************************************************************************** Magusar ************************************************************************** ********Several Years Later******** Several Years Later Ch. 1 Location: Noah's Desert West Rewards: Lava Pot Lid (S) Giant's Arm Boulderbug Shell (S) Monster: Miserly Goblin Difficulty: 1 Stars Objective: Kill 8 fiends A fiend hunt. Kill 8 to advance. Several Years Later Ch. 2 Location: Noah's Desert East Rewards: Cremation Clod (S) Fire Giant's Arm Mudfiend Entrails Monster: Carnivorous Slime Difficulty: 1 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Carnivorous Slime isn't weak against any element. It throws junk at medium range that will leave a pool of nasty stuff on the ground for a few seconds. Avoid these while you're moving. If you get close it will swipe at you with it's tentacles. Stay at long range and you won't get hit. Keep it in Hell and you're good. Several Years Later Ch. 3 Location: Plains of Olympia Thoroughfare Rewards: Gravelshield Fragment Falcon Feather (S) Thunderdrake Egg (S) Monster: Gravespike Goblin Difficulty: 1 Stars Objective: Kill 8 fiends Another fiend battle. Kill 8 and you're done. Several Years Later Ch. 4 Location: Elvenvale Rewards: Irondrake Egg (S) Swordsman Sapling Leafdrake Egg (S) Monster: Orc Difficulty: 2 Stars Objective: Kill 8 fiends And again. Rinse and repeat. A good quest to try out new offerings. Several Years Later Ch. 5 Location: Elvenvale Rewards: Healing Bloom (S) Timesand Mudfiend Entrails Monster: Elven Queen Difficulty: 2 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Elven Queen is weak to fire. Watch out for the dandelion tufts, they are seeker missiles. When she turns red she's enraged, try dodging to the side instead of running away from her. If you run away from her, she will just run you down and swipe you to death. ********Destinies Past******** Destinies Past Ch. 1 Location: Icarus Pasture Rewards: Wild Dog Maw Miserly Coinpurse (S) Stonefiend Entrails Monster: Cyclops Difficulty: 3 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Cyclops isn't weak to anything, so bring the offerings you are the most comfortable with. The Cyclops has three moves. He will swipe with his staff, lunge, and dig underground. While underground he will chase you down and jab his staff out of the ground to try to skewer you. It does a lot of damage, so run in a big circle when it goes underground. Watch out for the fiends, they can trip you up and give the Cyclops a free hit on you. It might stick its staff out of the ground. You can attack it, but beware, it will shoot a laser that sweeps the map. Destinies Past Ch. 2 Location: Floating City Aquarius East Rewards: Swordsman Icebrand Snowtuft (S) Battle Axe Edge Monster: Avaricious Slime Difficulty: 3 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend Follow the same tactics that you used against the Carnivorous Slime. Compared to the last fight, this one is a nice breather. Destinies Past Ch. 3 Location: Floating City Aquarius West Rewards: Healing Seed (M) Timesand Chest of Fortune (S) Monster: Illecebra Difficulty: 4 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer Illecebra, the mini-boss of the game. Use throw weapons to keep at a distance and burn her down. She'll run away once you do enough damage to her. Destinies Past Ch. 4 Location: Elvenvale Heights Rewards: Gluttonous Fruit (S) Venom Blanket (S) Irondrake Egg (M) Monster: Rancid Egg Spider Difficulty: 4 Stars Objective: Kill 8 fiends Another minion hunt. Kill the 8 fiends. Destinies Past Ch. 5 Location: Catacombs of Pandora Depths Rewards: Thunderdrake Egg (S) Thunder Bulb (S) Stormfiend Entrails Monster: Carnivorous Slime Difficulty: 4 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend Your first Doppelganger fight. All that means is that you are fighting your second archfiend of that type. Use the same strategy as you did the last time you fought it. Congratulations! You are ready to move on to the next arc. ********Fading Humanity******** Fading Humanity Ch. 1 Location: Ruins of Tartarus East Rewards: Battle Axe Edge Bouldershield Fragment Ferrous Timesand Monster: Candle Spider Difficulty: 5 Stars Objective: Kill 12 fiends Your quota has been upped to 12. Clean them up and move on. Fading Humanity Ch. 2 Location: Ruins of Tartarus West Rewards: Iron Pinwheel (M) Thunderstone Lid (L) Bolt Axe Fragment Monster: Cerberus Difficulty: 5 Stars Objective: Defeat the Archfiend The Cerberus is weak against Stone. He will drop down to all fours, then try to pounce on you. When he arches his chest he will shoot multiple homing lines on the ground. Stay at long range and you can avoid both easily. Fading Humanity Ch. 3 Location: Ruins of Tartarus East Rewards: Iron Pinwheel (M) Timesand Chest of Fortune (S) Monster: Illecebra Difficulty: 5 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer Illecebra again. Use the same strategy as before. Fading Humanity Ch. 4 Location: Ruins of Tartarus Center Rewards: Thunder Bulb (S) Barrier Chain Storm Giant King's Axe Monster: Cerebus Difficulty: 5 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Cerebus again. This time you get to kill it. He has more health, so be aware that this will be a longer fight. Congratulations! One more chapter down. ********Beginning of the End******** Beginning of the End Ch. 1 Location: Plains of Olympia Hills Rewards: Swamp Muck (S) Grave Clod (M) Ferrous Timesand Monster: Nihil Difficulty: 5 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer Use your tactics for killing a sorcerer on this fight. Beginning of the End Ch. 2 Location: Plains of Olympia Hills Rewards: Boulderbug Shell (M) Timesand Chest of Fortune (S) Monster: Magusar Difficulty: 6 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer This might be a fake fight, but he's not pulling any punches. Use the same tactics that you've been using to beat sorcerers. It'll be a quick a quick fight. All you are trying to do is bring Illecebra out. Beginning of the End Ch. 3 Location: Plains of Olympia Rewards: Falcon Feather (M) Thunder Blanket (M) Thunderdrake Egg (M) Monster: Illecebra Difficulty: 6 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer Illecebra again. This is starting to get annoying. Do enough damage and she'll run again. Beginning of the End Ch. 4 Location: Plains of Olympia Rewards: Bouldershield Fragment Thunder Blanket (M) Fulgurtree Root Monster: Illecebra Difficulty: 6 Stars Objective: Defeat the Archfiend Illecebra's true face. Her weaknesses cycle as well as the type of damage that it deals. It's aura will change the color of its current element. Red is for heat, White is for frost, Blue is for volt. Use the element that it will be weak against based off of it's aura. It will juggle orbs, then shoot them once it charges them up. The Heat and Frost will shoot in a straight line like the eggs, they also leave behind small pools of elemental damage behind for a few seconds. Volt is a different story, she will shoot a beam of volt damage straight out across the map. Dodge it as best you can. Occasionally she will arc her back and a snake will burst out of her stomach and burrow underground. It will split into multiple copies and dig outward. The ground will turn black just before it shoots out of the ground. Pay attention to your feet and don't stand in black stuff, or you will take a lot of damage. She may drop down on all fours and chase you like the Cerebus. Use the same dodging tactics you would use on it on her. She can also scream, which will petrify everything on the map. This is the toned down version, so it's a good place to practice if you have trouble with the next mission. Beginning of the End Ch. 5 Location: Plains of Olympia Rewards: Monster: Illecebra Difficulty: 6 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend This one is for all the marbles. While it is the upgraded version of the first Archfiend, you don't get to kill it, so you can't get any essences out of it. Helios West Rewards: Cremation Clod (M) Firedrake Egg (M) Fire Crow Maw Monster: Phoenix Difficulty: 7 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Phoenix is weak against Frost. When it pulls its wings together it's about to twirl towards you, dripping fire in its wake. It will also fly up into the air and drop fireballs onto the map. It can pull its wings in tight to its body and release a pulse attack. It can shoot homing fireballs out as well. Heal up, they are nearly impossible to dodge. The irritating thing about the Phoenix is that it can die, but it collapse into ash, then resurrect. This is usually when it will use its fire pulse attack. Save the Phoenix to get Errany as an ally. Only Memories Remain Ch. 5 Location: Mt. Helios West Rewards: Giant God's Arm Timesand Chest of Fortune (S) Monster: Magusar Difficulty: 7 Stars Objective: Defeat the Sorcerer This time the fight is real. Give it your all and put your ally down. You only have to defeat him, so you don't get the option to save or sacrifice him. Only Memories Remain Ch. 6 Location: Necropolis East Rewards: Grave Clod (M) Miserly Coinpurse (L) Irondrake Egg (L) Monster: Hydra Difficulty: 7 Stars Objective: Kill the Archfiend The Hydra is weak against Heat. It will try to run you over, but its aim is bad. At the end of its run, it will trip and faceplant. Roll out of the way and capitalize on the free hits. When purple fog comes out of its tentacles, it is about to coat the map in poison. The only way to stop this it to put it in Hell. It's other attack is to plunge its tentacles into the ground and chase you down like Illecebra. As an added bonus it will regrow its broken tentacles after this attack. I've not noticed the cursed Rewards: being diminished by this, basically it just gives you more chances to stagger it. Save the Hydra to get Anbard as an ally Only Memories Remain Ch. 7 Location: Mt. Helios West Rewards: Monster: Magusar Difficulty: 7 Stars Objective: Lose to the Sorcerer You can't win this fight. Just stand there and let Magusar kill you. It will start the final reveal, which you should have figured out by now. Congratulations! You've beat the main story. A Flyer. It can swipe when you're close, and blitz across the map to 
unleash a chain combo. It can shoot poison lasers across the map out 
of both wings. While in the air it can dive bomb or spray poison on 
the map. 

Beelzebub [8.04]

Strategy
One of the Archfiends that can turn invisible. It will slash its way 
across the map, so try to dodge to the side. It can run you down. It 
can shoot seeker missiles in the form of big flies. The smaller flies 
go in straight lines, so dodge to the side. If you watch the map, you 
can follow where he will rematerialize, so plan you attacks accordingly.

Behemoth [8.05]

Strategy
The tree. It drops crazy apples that chase you around the map, then 
self-destruct when they hit you. It can shoot seeds at mid-long range. 
It will twist and send out mini cyclones that move out in a straight 
line and deal a lot of damage. 

Carnivorous Slime [8.06]

The Carnivorous Slime isn't weak against any element. It throws junk at

Strategy
Another Archfiend that can turn invisible. This one has the usual 
slashing charge, dodge to the side. It can shoot across the map quickly 
and pound you, so try to stay full healed. 

Centaur [8.08]
Weakness Frost
Cursed Part: Archer's Arrowhead
Strategy
When it runs, it throws fire behind it that will leave burning patches 
on the ground. It can shoot fire arrows at you. Once the arrows start 
moving, they are on straight trajectories. Roll away to avoid it. When 
it starts spinning, run away. The cyclone does a lot of damage. 
Terrain traps can slow it down.

Cerberus [8.09]
Weakness Stone
Cursed Part: Spear Fragment
Strategy
The Cerberus is weak against Stone. He will drop down to all fours, then 
try to pounce on you. When he arches his chest he will shoot multiple 
homing lines on the ground. Stay at long range and you can avoid both 
easily. It will sometimes throw air shurikens at you. Roll to the side 
to avoid them.

Cyclops [8.10]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Blacksmith's Eye
Strategy
The Cyclops isn't weak to anything, so bring the offerings you are the 
most comfortable with. The Cyclops has three moves. He will swipe with 
his staff, lunge, and dig underground. While underground he will chase 
you down and jab his staff out of the ground to try to skewer you. It 
does a lot of damage, so run in a big circle when it goes underground. 
Watch out for the fiends, they can trip you up and give the Cyclops a 
free hit on you.

Druid God Soul [8.11]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Fell God's Lanugo
Strategy
It will summon floating black balls. These will be thrown at you and can 
seek for a little while. It will call down red and black lightning, avoid 
the red light on the ground. It's slash attack is fairly powerful, so try 
not to be directly in front of it. It will summon something that looks 
like a circle of music notes, these pulse out from it to midrange. You 
don't have the option to sacrifice or save it, so in a multiplayer fight, 
you might want to start killing off people that have used their black 
rites toward the end for the massive damage.

Dullahan [8.12]

Cursed Part: Berserker's Chains
Strategy
It's swipe attack has a longer reach, thanks to it having mounted its 
head on a chain. It will try to jump onto you, run to the side to avoid 
this. 

Dwarf [8.13]
Weakness Heat
Cursed Part: Coalminer's Cup
Strategy
The Venom version of the Leprechauns. With the added bonus of it being 
able to poison you. It can jump at you. Run fast to avoid the damage. 
If you aren't fast enough you can get caught in the edge of the impact 
and staggered. It will pick up hammers and throw them at you. Its biggest 
danger is its spinning attack. Use a terrain offering to slow it down and 
try to stay at full health. It can go faster than you can run and does a 
lot of damage.


Elven Queen [8.14]

Cursed Part: Cottonmaid's Wings
Strategy
The Elven Queen is weak to fire. Watch out for the dandelion tufts, they 
are seeker missiles. When she turns red she's enraged, try dodging to the 
side instead of running away from her. If you run away from her, she will 
just run you down and swipe you to death.

Gargoyle [8.15]

Strategy
The stone version of Jack-o'-Lantern. It has three main attacks: a stone 
homing on the ground, a melee swipe, and a charge where it bounces around 
the map trying to run you over. Dodge it's attacks as best you can and 
keep hitting it.

Griffin [8.16]

Cursed Part: Noble's Gemstone
Strategy
A flyer, Once airborne, it can try to divebomb you. You can break its 
wings to keep it on the ground. Once you do enough damage to its arms 
it will drop its treasure. It spends a few moments picking up the 
treasure, which will give you free hits. It has the typical close range 
slashing attacks.

Harpy [8.17]

Cursed Part: Noblewoman's Curio
Strategy
It can fly, break its wings to keep it on the ground. When it tries to 
suck you up, run away from it. It has a melee swipe and poison spit. 
Just like being burned, roll until you get rid of the poison.

Hydra [8.18]

Cursed Part: Tyrant's Tentacles
Strategy
It will try to run you over, but its aim is bad. At the end of its run, 
it will trip and faceplant. Roll out of the way and capitalize on the 
free hits. When purple fog comes out of its tentacles, it is about to 
coat the map in poison. The only way to stop this it to put it in Hell. 
It's other attack is to plunge its tentacles into the ground and chase 
you down like Illecebra. As an added bonus it will regrow its broken 
tentacles after this attack.

Illecebra [8.19]
Weakness Changes
Cursed Part: Witch's Hairpin
Strategy
Her weaknesses cycle as well as the type of damage that it deals. It's 
aura will change the color of its current element. Red is for heat, 
White is for frost, Blue is for volt. Use the element that it will be 
weak against based off of it's aura. It will juggle orbs, then shoot 
them once it charges them up. The Heat and Frost will shoot in a straight 
line like the eggs, they also leave behind small pools of elemental 
damage behind for a few seconds. Volt is a different story, she will 
shoot a beam of volt damage straight out across the map. Dodge it as 
best you can. Occasionally she will arc her back and a snake will burst 
out of her stomach and burrow underground. It will split into multiple 
copies and dig outward. The ground will turn black just before it shoots 
out of the ground. Pay attention to your feet and don't stand in black 
stuff, or you will take a lot of damage. She may drop down on all fours 
and chase you like the Cerebus. Use the same dodging tactics you would 
use on it on her. She can also scream, which will petrify everything on 
the map.

Incubus [8.20]

Strategy
The sandwich. It has the usual swipe. It can pull out a card that will 
summon fiends. It will throw paint that will inflict the elemental status 
effect and damage you. It can shoot a Frost trail out, which it will 
charge over. It can spin, then charge in random directions

Iron Maiden [8.21]

Strategy
It has the usual close range slash. It has poison homing that it casts. 
It can throw its head at midrange, which can also sprout the poison 
homing. It can leap and try to land on top of you. 

Jack Frost [8.22]

The Frost version of Jack-o'-Lantern. It has three main attacks: a frost 
homing on the ground, a melee swipe, and a charge where it bounces 
around the map trying to run you over. Dodge it's attacks as best you 
can and keep hitting it.

It will try to run you over, but its aim is bad. At the end of its run,

Leprechaun [8.25]

It can jump at you. Run fast to avoid the damage. If you aren't fast

It will pick up shoes and throw them at you. It's biggest danger is 
its spinning attack. Use a terrain offering to slow it down and try 
to stay at full health. It can go faster than you can run and does a 
lot of damage. 

Leviathan [8.26]

Cursed Part: Seadevil's Scales
Strategy
Nasty seasnake. It is invulnerable to damage when it is reared back. It 
slams down on either side or the center of the map. Be somewhere else to 
avoid the damage and hit it. It can swipe the map, be in the opposite 
corner from where it starts to avoid getting knocked down with the big 
damage. It can also spray water up one column of the map. Pay attention 
to where it is targeting to avoid his damage. 


Minotaur [8.27]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Princess's Mask
Strategy
It has the two standard attacks; the close swipe and the charge attack. 
It will throw it's weapon, so try to break it before it picks it back up, 
so it can't do more damage once it picks it back up.

Ogre [8.28]
Weakness Frost
Cursed Part: Chef's Miter
Strategy
It has the standard two moves; a close range slash and a charge. It will 
start stirring the ground with its staff. The ground will erupt with 
fire, keep moving to avoid the terrain damage. 

Ouroboros [8.29]
Weakness Stone
Cursed Part: Fulgursnake's Garb
Strategy
When it rolls around, it will try to run you over. If it starts spinning 
fast, then it will shoot a lightning bolt across the map. It can fly up 
into the air, and call down lightning. Avoid the shadows.

Pegasus [8.30]
Weakness Volt
Cursed Part: Traitor's Horn
Strategy
The Frost version of the Phoenix. It can fly. It will drop Frost Terrain 
underneath itself. It shoots Frost damage at midrange. It can do a burst 
of Frost damage that will freeze you. It might die, but it can regenerate 
like the Phoenix. It will pull its wings in and charge across the map. 

Phoenix [8.31]

Cursed Part: Firemother's Quill
Strategy
When it pulls its wings together it's about to twirl towards you, 
dripping fire in its wake. It will also fly up into the air and drop 
fireballs onto the map. It can pull its wings in tight to its body and 
release a pulse attack. It can shoot homing fireballs out as well. 
Heal up, they are nearly impossible to dodge. The irritating thing about 
the Phoenix is that it can die, but it collapse into ash, then resurrect. 
This is usually when it will use its fire pulse attack.

Romalus God Soul [8.32]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Demon God's Lanugo
Strategy
It will summon floating White balls. These will be thrown at you and can 
seek for a little while. It will call down  lightning, avoid the white 
light on the ground. It's slash attack is fairly powerful, so try 
not to be directly in front of it. It will slam it's stick on the ground 
and cause a straight line earth upheaval. It can also shoot hrost homing.
You don't have the option to sacrifice or save it, so in a multiplayer 
fight, you might want to start killing off people that have used their 
black rites toward the end for the massive damage.

Siren [8.33]

Cursed Part: Songstress's Lips
Strategy
She has the same basic attacks as the Cyclops. Try to keep her in Hell 
and kill her before she goes underground. If she is able to go 
underground, keep running in a rather large circle. The key is to 
never stop moving. Avoid her lunges and dodge the fiends and this fight 
will be over quick.

Cursed Part: Charlatan's Armor
Strategy
It has a close range slash. It can throw three small boulders at mid 
range. It will drop down on its hands and crawl across the map quickly 
towards you. It can shoot a small mortar out of its palm at you. The most 
annoying thing about the Troll is that it will release a high damage 
pulse that goes out to mid range whenever it enters a Hell state. 

Unicorn [8.35]
Weakness Volt
Cursed Part: Heavy Knight's Pike
Strategy
The frost version of the Centaur. When it runs, it throws fire behind 
it that will leave burning patches on the ground. It can shoot Frost 
homing at you. It will put down a larger than small radius Frost terrain 
at its feet. When it starts spinning, run away. The cyclone does a lot 
of damage. Terrain traps can slow it down.

Valkyrie [8.36]
Weakness Stone
Cursed Part: Warmaiden's Edge
Strategy
A flyer. While in the air she can flies around, spraying lightning. 
It can slash at close range. When she gets low on health, she will shoot
 lightning balls around her in a close, protective circle. These can stun 
you if you run into them. Wait a little bit and they will dissipate. 

Werewolf [8.37]
Weakness Frost
Cursed Part: Commando's Canines
Strategy
The fire version of the Cerberus. It can swipe at you if you get in close. 
It will leap into the air and belly flop onto the ground. It will charge 
around the map and try to knock you down.

Wraith [8.38]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Nightlife Finery
Strategy
Another invisible Archfiend. It can turn invisible and then charge you. 
It might shoot black junk at you when it is invisible instead. While 
visible it can shoot a barrage of arrows at you. While visible it can 
shoot seeker missiles at you that do a lot of damage. 

Wyvern [8.39]
Weakness None
Cursed Part: Assassin's Wingtip
Strategy
The shadow Archfiend. He can melt into the ground, then charge at you 
and jump out of the ground to try to uppercut you. Do your best to roll 
at the right moment to dodge it. He can charge across the map at you. 
It can also split into multiple copies. Attack the one with a shadow to 
break the clones. It also has the usual close range slash.



9) Raiments [9.01]
There are 12 different raiments, each in 9 different colors. You only 
start the game with a few choices and unlock more as you play. I'm in 
the process of replaying the game to figure out where each outfit is 
unlocked. The final 3 colors of each (white, black, gold) are obtained 
by wearing the raiment and saving or sacrificing Archfiends a certain 
number of times. It is worth mentioning that when you go into Holy or 
Chaos mode, you will no longer be able to change your raiment, but the 
saves and sacrifices still count for whichever raiment you had on before 
you entered that mode. 

The 12 different raiments are:

The 9 colors are:
