I will give to you the statistics, or what I could come up with, of the Gundams, along with the strategies on how to best win with them. In case you did not know, Devil is not a regular fighter, and it can only be accessed by a code, which is found later in this guide. First, before I start, I will show you an example of the format I will use to inform you about the Gundams. *GUNDAM NAME -- Here I will tell you the Gundam's name. ^Modes Found In: -- Here I will tell you the modes that that Gundam is found in. ^Country: -- Here I will tell you the country that the Gundam is from. ^HF Number: -- Here I will tell you what the Gundam's HF Number is (Where applicable). ^Gundam Pilot: -- Here I will tell you the Gundam Pilot's name (Where applicable). ^Height: -- Here I will tell you the Gundam's height (Where applicable). ^Weight: -- Here I will tell you the Gundam's weight (Where applicable). ^Weapon: -- Here I will tell you the Gundam's weapons (Where applicable). ^General Strategy: -- Here I will tell you the strategy to use to win with that Gundam. Now, onto the Gundam Guide. *BOLT ^Modes Found In: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Russia ^HF Number: GF13-013NR ^Gundam Pilot: Argo ^Height: 17.3 meters ^Weight: 8.9 tons ^Weapon: Hammer Club ^General Strategy: There are two really good ways to win with Bolt. The first is to rapidly press 'Y' when fairly close to your opponent. This will bring you into a series of light punches that can do some real damage. The other way to win is to press 'X' when you are near your opponent. This will put your opponent into a choke slam that will drain their energy a lot. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Bolt rates: Seven *DRAGON ^Modes Found In: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-China ^HF Number: GF13-011NC ^Gundam Pilot: Sai-Sici ^Height: 16.4 meters ^Weight: 7.4 tons ^Weapon: Beam Flag and Dragon Claw ^General Strategy: Dragon is one of the best fighters in G-Gundam. There are two good strategies to win with her also. The first strategy is to press 'A' at a medium or close range from your opponent. This will cause Dragon to plant its pole and kick towards its opponent. The other good strategy to use is going near your opponent, and pressing 'X.' This will cause Dragon to do a choke thrust, a choke slam that thrusts your opponent in a direction before slamming them. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Dragon rates: Eight *MAXTER ^Modes Found In: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-America ^HF Number: GF13-006NA ^Gundam Pilot: Chibodee ^Height: 16.3 meters ^Weight: 7.3 tons ^Weapon: Beam Gun, Knuckle, Glove, and Shield ^General Strategy: Maxter is one of the few Gundams that really has a little in common with everyone. Unfortunately it does not take the best aspects from everyone. A good way to win with Maxter is to go into medium or close range and press 'A.' Doing this will result in Maxter completing a kick to a location high in your opponents midsection. The other good way to win is to use the time honored choke slam by pressing 'X' at close range. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Maxter rates: Six *ROSE ^Modes Found In: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-France ^HF Number: GF13-009NF ^Gundam Pilot: George ^Height: 16.2 meters ^Weight: 7.2 tons ^Weapon: Rose Bit ^General Strategy: Unlike most Gundams, there is only one sure fire way of winning with Rose. That way is using Rose's special move. Pressing 'X' at a medium to close range will result in Rose thrusting the Rose Bit into your opponent's Gundam. Rose will then flip the opponent into the air a bit, and it will land flat on it's back. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Rose rates: Seven *SHINING ^Modes Found In: Story Mode, Versus Mode, and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Japan ^HF Number: GF13-017NJ ^Gundam Pilot: Domon ^Height: 16.2 meters ^Weight: 6.8 tons ^Weapon: Vulcan Beamsword ^General Strategy: Shining is probably the best Gundam of those you can use by default in the Story Mode. First of all, pressing 'A' will result in a high kick to your opponent's torso, which can very damaging. And is special attack, which is completed by using 'X' is one of the most damaging in the game. I call it the electric take down, because Shining thrusts a fist encased in electricity into its opponent. Then, Shining throws that Gundam on the ground. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Shining rates: Nine *GOD ^Modes Found In: Versus Mode and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Hong Kong ^General Strategy: From now on, none of the usual statistics from before can be found in G-Gundam, but I pieced together all of the information you see here. God has two good attacks. The first of which is a double kick that is carried out by pressing 'A.' His other good attack is a thrust punch, which is God's special attack. This must be completed at a close range. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to God ten rates: Five *MASTER ^Modes Found In: Versus Mode and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Japan ^Gundam Pilot: Master-Asia ^General Strategy: Master is one of the best fighters in G-Gundam. Master's best normal attack is a rapid elbow blow to the head that is carried out by pressing 'Y.' His special attack, which should also be used, as it is even better, is a ribbon, that at close ranges, he can twirl like a lasso and choke his opposition. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Master rates: Nine *RISING ^Modes Found In: Versus Mode and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Canada ^Gundam Pilot: Rain ^General Strategy: Rising has some of the coolest moves of all of the Gundams. Unfortunately, though, they do not do all that much damage. The first effective move that Rising has is a move that scoops up the opposition on Rising's spear, and flips them into the ground. This is her special move, so, naturally, it is carried out by pressing 'X.' This move must be done at extremely close range. The second effective move is a bit more complex. If you press 'Y' repeatedly Rising will poke at the opponent. But, after two or three times pressing 'Y' Rising's spear will begin to spin, and it will be able to do much more damage. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Rising rates: Eight *SPIEGEL ^Modes Found In: Versus Mode and Championship Mode ^Country: Neo-Egypt ^Gundam Pilot: Schwartz ^General Strategy: Spiegel may differ the most from the rest of the Gundams in G-Gundam, beginning instantly with the way he looks. Spiegel has a dark aura about him. And, his attacks are among the most powerful in G-Gundam. First of all, by pressing 'B', the weak kick button, Spiegel actually delivers a powerful blow to the opposing Gundam's shin. But, the real reason to chose Spiegel is for his special attack. His special attack is more damaging than any other. If you have experienced Spiderman before, his special attack has some of the same qualities as Spiderman's moves. His special attack hurtles a metal net from Spiegel's torso. This net first damages the opponent a lot, and then ties them up on the ground for a second or two. Then, you can use the kick that would normally injure the shins to rack up maximum damage. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Spiegel rates: Nine *DEVIL ^Modes Found In: Versus Mode and Championship Mode (Through a Code) ^Country: Devil ^Gundam Pilot: Kyouji ^General Strategy: Devil has perhaps more effective ways to destroy his opposition than any other Gundam. First of all, pressing 'A' results into Devil carrying out an attack to the opposing Gundam's jaw with his knee. Pressing 'Y' results in Devil using a double uppercut to damage the opposition. And, by pressing 'X' and using Devil's special, Devil will combine the electric take down and the choke slam. The result is a highly damaging attack that, while using electricity, holds the opponent in the air for a few seconds, and then throws them to the ground. ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Devil rates: Eight ================================================================== GUNDAM PILOT AND FIGHTER GUIDE Each of the Gundam Pilots, also known as fighters, have certain attributes themselves. I will do my best to explain them to you here. *ARGO ^Gundam: Bolt ^Nation: Neo-Russia ^Statistics Affected: Adds five to performance Adds two to defense Adds two to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Argo rates: Seven *CHIBODEE ^Gundam: Maxter ^Nation: Neo-America ^Statistics Affected: Adds four to performance Adds two to defense Adds three to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Chibodee rates: Eight *DOMON ^Gundam: Shining ^Nation: Neo-Japan ^Statistics Affected: Adds four to performance Adds two to defense Adds three to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Domon rates: Eight *GEORGE ^Gundam: Rose ^Nation: Neo-France ^Statistics Affected: Adds three to performance Adds two to defense Adds four to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten George rates: Five *KYOUJI ^Gundam: Devil ^Nation: Devil ^Statistics Affected: Adds four to performance Adds two to defense Adds four to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Kyouji rates: Ten *MASTER-ASIA ^Gundam: Master ^Nation: Neo-Japan ^Statistics Affected: Adds four to performance Adds two to defense Adds three to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Master-Asia rates: Eight *RAIN ^Gundam: Rising ^Nation: Neo-Canada ^Statistics Affected: Adds three to performance Adds one to defense Adds four to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Rain rates: Six *SAI-SICI ^Gundam: Dragon ^Nation: Neo-China ^Statistics Affected: Adds three to performance Adds one to defense Adds four to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Sai-Sici rates: Six *SCHWARTZ ^Gundam: Spiegel ^Nation: Neo-Egypt ^Statistics Affected: Adds four to performance Adds one to defense Adds four to speed ^On the GameFAQs scale from one to ten Schwartz rates: Seven ================================================================== DEVIL GUNDAM CODE In this section of my guide, I will tell you the code that must be used to unlock the Devil Gundam. Unlock the Devil Gundam: At the Character Select Screen, highlight any Gundam. Then hold 'L,' 'R,' 'Select,' and 'Start.' While you are still holding these buttons, press 'A.' You will now have Devil selected as your Gundam. Also of note, you cannot select a different fighter, or Gundam Pilot, when Devil is the Gundam you are using. ================================================================== SPECIAL THANKS To Iamnothing, for showing me the ins and outs of FAQ Writing.
