TECHNIQUES -------------------------------------------------------------------------- DOUBLE JUMP TECHNIQUE: All you do is jump in the air, and while in the air, press jump again. Simple, no? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SABER DOUBLE JUMP: Basicly, this is your main attack (for me at least) in the game. Pull out your light saber, do a jump in any direction, and while in the air, jump again. You will spin your sword around you, attacking anything in your path as long as you are in the air. While doing this, you are nearly invincible. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SABER BLOCKING: To block using your light saber, hold down on the D-PAD and press the attack button. Sometimes this will reflect an attack from and enemy back at them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHUCKING BOMBS: Can only be done with Han Solo, collect some bombs and press the A button (default)to chuck away! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPINNING REALLY REALLY FAST: Can only be done with Chewie. Press and hold the A Button (default) to spin really fast! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE FORCE: Can only be done by Luke. To use the force, you must first collect different power-ups (they are letters) found only on Dagobah. Then, press the Select button, and chose the force power you would like to use with R or L. Then press X to use it, and X to cancel. *Note: With the Elevation Force Power-Up, you need to press and hold UP on the D-PAD for as long as you want to float around. To stop, simply let go of UP. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SABER SWIPES: There are many different ways to swing your saber. One way is just to press the attack button. This is a simple under-hand half-sircle swing. Then there is an over-head swing, which takes a little bit more to pull off but it has a better range. Press and hold up on the D-Pad and press the attack button. Then there is the "SABER DOUBLE JUMP" technique, and finally, if you press down and tap the attack button, you will get a great downward swipe, awesome for when you are on a taun-taun. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= 3. UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFICULTY RATING -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, how I rate the bosses is based on an astrik (*) system. Here's a run-down on each different rating. *=Easy **=Simple ***=Medium ****=Hard *****=You are gonna die a few times before conquering this boss ******=Near Impossible =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* ~BOSS 1: Big Huge Ice Beast~ ~DIFFICULTY: **~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basicly, he'll attack in one easy to predict patern. Attack with his right hand, try and freeze you with a breath and attack with his left hand, repeat. All you do is pull out your light saber and do what I call the "Double Jump Technique". Anyway, as soon as the battle starts, stay on the left side of the beast. When he does his freezing breath, double jump (with light saber in hand) from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen. Then, when he uses his frezzing breath again, just do the same thing over and over again untill he dies. *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= ~BOSS 2: Big Imperiral Probe Droid~ ~DIFFICULTY: *~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take out your saber and keep using the Double Jump Technique, or if you have Plasma Blaster Power, (like me all the time) and blast it to pieces. =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* ~BOSS 3: Huge Imperiral Probe Droid~ ~DIFFICULTY: ***~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This time around the Probe Droid actually does stuff!! There will be three platforms of ice, each which sink into the water. Pull out your weapon of choice and start your attack. *With a Blaster of any kind, shoot at the Droid while it's submerged under water, then when it comes up, jump around to the back side of it and start blasting away. It will submerge again. Repeat process untill it dies. *With a Light Saber, you can do various things. I do believe you can defelct it's laser blasts back at it, hurting it. Or you can "SABER DOUBLE JUMP" (hurting him in the process) when he emerges from the water to his back side and swipe away. **You can combine the two strategies by "SABER DOUBLE JUMPING" from one side to the other, pull out your Plasma Blaster, and fire away. *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= 5.
