Captain Tsubasa 4 FAQ By Mykas0 Mykas0 [at] hotmail.com VERSION 0.7 08-6-2005 BE SURE TO READ THIS PART! You can enjoy this faq as long as you don't change any part of it, uncluding this notice. Also, you can distribute and print it but only for personal use, and you may NEVER charge any money for it. Finally, if you want to use this faq on your site you will need to ask me for it, and I think I will grant it to you... Considered by most people as one of the worst Tsubasa games, I discovered something that can make you enjoy it a lot... Well, I know what you must be saying, the graphics look awful (just look at Tachibana brothers) and there are some weird events sometimes, but if you win every match you'll be able to play some extra matches, which may provide you some special abilities... So, you will be able to see some "new" things like Hyuga's Dragon Shot (after seeing a cool one-time Tiger Dragon Shot) and Tsubasa's Cyclone Shot (I've seen it, but I never got it... Can someone help me with this? If so, e-mail me!). Hum, and you may find some weird player in the German team that has a unique Water Shot, which can only be used while it rains! ^_^ It is not very powerful, but fortunately it stops raining at half time! 0. Contacts _____________________________________________ 0.~ About the series 0.1 Story of Captain Tsubasa This manga talks about a boy who enjoys playing soccer more than anything in his life. The story starts when he moves into a new city, where he meets Ishizaki and the great goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi from the Shutetsu school, the champion of Japan. After a individual confrontation between them, Tsubasa meets Roberto Hongo, which will be his coach, and we assist to the great game "Nankatsu vs. Shutetsu". In the middle of the game Taro Misaki arrives and he will form the "Golden Combination" with Tsubasa, ending the game by 2-2. Together they will play on a new team, Nankatsu (yeah, the same name but a different team) and come up to the national championship, where they start by losing against Meiwa (with Kojiro Hyuga and Takeshi Sawada in it) by 6-7, they win to Tachibana Twins’ Hanawa (those two had a really strange but original way of playing) by 3-2, to Nakanishi’s Naniwa by 5-1 and to Jun Misugi’s Mushashi (he was really good, but had heart problems) by 5-4. So, the finals will be... "Nankatsu vs. Meiwa" (again!), but this time it will be even more interesting since both team have new goalkeepers, as Ken Wakashimazu for Meiwa and Wakabayashi for Nankatsu (he was hurt, so he hadn’t play up to now; this will be his last game, since he is going to Germany to became a professional player), finishing this very long game by 4-2, Nankatsu winning. I shall mention Nankatsu’s first goal, in which Misaki (this was his last game too, since his father was going to move to another place) and Tsubasa shoot at the same time, using an impressive technique that will be called "Twin Shot". The story continues 2 years from that championship, during this time Tsubasa won two other times the national championship and tries to win a third time, feat never achieved by anyone else. After playing against Azuma-ichi, a team in which a really rough player named Sõda plays (he damages Tsubasa), they play against some old pals, like Hanawa (Tachibana twins used a new technique called Skylab) and Tsubasa finally master a shot that will be his special, the Drive Shot, against the giant Hiroshi Jito, who played for Hirado. On the finals they play against Toho, a team from Tokyo in which Hyuga, Wakashimazu and Takeshi now play. Well... sort of, the coach didn’t want Hyuga to play but he did it after all, using his special, Tiger Shot. After another long game, it finishes in a tie (4-4), being both teams called winner (in this national tournament there aren’t any penalty kicks in the end of the games)... Now the best players will go into the national team in order to play in an international tournament in France. After some preparation matches, one of which against Wakabayashi and Karl Heinz Schneider (the "Kaiser" of European Soccer, both playing for Hamburg SV), they win to Italy and their "Perfect Keeper" Gino Hernandez by 2-1 and to Argentina (with "soccer prodigy" Diaz and his friend Pascual, Diaz was surely impressive but Japan's team work made them win). After wining to France in the penalty kicks (5-4), they will finally play to Germany, which includes Schneider (the "Kaiser"), Kartz, Magas (or Margus, I prefer using the first one since it sounds me better), Schester and Dutter Muller (a giant keeper), and they win by 3-2. Tsubasa goes to Brazil, to play for San Paulo FC with his old coach from the times of early Nankatsu, Roberto Hongõ. And this is where the first set of manga’s finish, after 37 chapters... 0.2 Story of Captain Tsubasa World Youth This set of 18 chapters starts with the presentation of a new japanese character named Aoi Shingo, who becomes a fan of Tsubasa after his team being beaten by Nankatsu (Tsubasa's old team in Japan), so he goes to Italy in order to be a better player. After much trouble, he gets to join Inter Milan, whose goalkeeper is Gino Hernandez, who becomes Shingo's friend. Then, we get to see the brazillian championship's final, Tsubasa against the brazillian prodigy, Carlos Santana, who (like Tsubasa) is also able to learn some of the opponent's techniques. At the same time, a plot from Gamo (a coach that now appears) is unveiled... He made a team of seven players (Real Japan 7, if you are wondering) that would confront the japanese nation team (split in 3 groups of 7 players), and if those last ones lost, 7 players would be thrown out of the team. Sadly, they lost, so Hyuga, Misaki, Jitõ, Sõda, Nitta, Masao and Kazuo Tachibana are thrown out of the team and Wakashimazu also leaves the team (he says he doesn't want to be just a replacement for Wakabayashi), making harder to Japan getting a win in the coming event, Asian Cup. With the help of Tsubasa (that came back from Brazil) they manage to win the first two matches, but they have a hard time against Thailand, since the 3 Konsawatto brothers are really good at aerial soccer and Shinpurasu Bunnark (a tough defender who uses his Muay-Thai skills in the field) can hurt Tsubasa, making him not able to attack. Luckly, Wakabayashi arrives when the score was 4-1, and although he can't catch any balls (he had both hands broken, due to shots of Levin and Cruyfford) he manages to stop all of the opponent's shots, Shingo also appears and his combinated moves with Tsubasa make Japan being able to win this match by 5-4. During that time, the 7 players that were thrown out were training hard in order to get new techniques, so Hyuga manages to develop one of the best shots ever seen, the Rayju (if you are wondering, it is a thunder related beast from japanese mythology) Shot. Due to those new techniques those players can (this time) defeat R.J.7 and enter the national team in order to play in the Asian Cup. They beat teams like Saudi Arabia (from whose captain, the prince Mark Owaiaran, appears to be one of the best defenders ever), China (with a player named Shõ that is able to counter most shots with his "Dragon Counter Shot") and South Korea. By doing so, they get to join the World Cup (for players less than 20 years old)... They start by playing against Mexico, whose great goalkeeper, Ricardo Espadas, was able to stop Hyuga's Rayju Shoot, but despite the difficulties they manage to beat them by 2-1. Against Uruguay, they have another hard match, mainly because Ryoma Hino (the "Japanese Bomber", one of R.J.7's players, who had double nationality) is also playing and his Tornado Shot is great, finally they beat it by 6-5. Against Italy they have an easy match since both Hernandez and Salvatore Gentile ("European Libero One") were hurt due to Hino's Tornado Shot, and they win 4-0. On the quarters of final they get to play against Sweden, who had great players like Larrson, Fredericks, Brolin (a good defender who manages to stop Hyuga's Rayju Shot) and Levin (yep, the same player who had injured Wakabayashi), but due to the appearence of the impressive defender Akai Tomeiya (replacing Matsuyama, his mate Fujisawa was in the hospital), who stops every of Levin's Levin Shot (yeah, he has a technique with his name ^_^ ) they win 1-0. In the Half Finals they get to play against Holland, their captain Brian Cruyfford (the other player that injured Wakabayashi) was playing but UNFORTUNATELY we don't get to see the match, for some "not interesting" reason, we only know that they won 1-0. Finally, they get to the World Cup's finals and they will be playing against....... Brazil, whose coach is Roberto Hongo (Tsubasa's old coach at Japan and Brazil), who says that Tsubasa wouldn't be able to win this time. After a first half time in which Brazil was surely better than Japan, Santana is able to score a goal to Wakabayashi. Japan counter with a great Twin Overhead Shot by Tsubasa and Misaki's Golden Combination and even score another goal with Seiki Rayju Shot (in which Rayju is used as a pass and Tsubasa and Misaki shoot with a Twin Shot). When the match was almost over, Roberto uses his secret player named Naturezza, who is even able to score a goal to Wakabayashi FROM OUTSIDE THE GOAL AREA (!), making a tie. On the extra time the hard match continues, but at the end Tsubasa finishes by surpassing the great player Naturezza and scores a goal, making Japan win the World Cup (for player that have less than 20 years old). We also get to know that Sanae and Tsubasa get married and this last one goes to play for Barcelona, a spanish team, and all the other players join other teams, mainly those of J-League, but some (like Hyuga, who will play for Juventus) continue to play in their teams, like Akai Tomeiya... And that's how those chapters of the manga finish. 0.3 Story of Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002 ########################Still to be finished######################## 0.4 Story from the Captain Tsubasa Movies ########################Still to be finished######################## 0.5 Info about Captain Tsubasa "extra" books ########################Still to be finished######################## 0.6 Match results for Captain Tsubasa Nankatsu 5 - Nishigaoka 2 Nankatsu 2 - Shutetsu 2 Nankatsu SC 7 - Fuji FC 0 Nankatsu SC 10 - Igawa SC 0 Nankatsu SC 11 - Kakegawa FC 0 Nankatsu SC 8 - Hatsukura SC 0 Nankatsu SC 9 - Nakano FC 0 Nankatsu SC 7 - Hamana FC 0 Nankatsu SC 3 - Shimada SC 2 Nankatsu SC 3 - Shimizu FC 0 Meiwa FC 4 - ????? 3 Furano 1 - Sapporo FC 0 Nankatsu SC 6 - Meiwa FC 7 Nankatsu SC 9 - Oozu SS 0 Nankatsu SC 3 - Hanawa 2 Nankatsu SC 5 - Naniwa SC 1 Nankatsu SC 7 - Shinshiro 0 Musashi FC 6 - Hitachi 2 Meiwa FC 5 - Katsunishi 1 Furano 3 - Yonago 1 Nankastu SC 5 - Musashi FC 4 Meiwa FC 3 - Furano 2 Nankatsu SC 4 - Meiwa FC 2 Nankatsu 6 - Ito 0 Nankatsu 3 - Kawane 0 Nankatsu 7 - Hamanaka 1 Nankatsu 4 - Otaichi 0 Nankatsu 5 - Okabe 1 Nanktasu 3 - Ohtomo 1 Nankatsu 2 - Azumaichi 1 Nankatsu 6 - Nishikigaoka 0 Nankatsu 3 - Hanawa 2 Nankatsu 4 - Hirado 3 Meiwa 2 - Kanemura 0 Tohou 3 - Chuubo 0 Furano 2 - Minamiuwa 1 Nankatsu 3 - Furano 2 Tohou 2 - Meiwa 1 Nankatsu 4 - Tohou 4 ########################Still to be finished######################## 0.7 Match results for Shin Captain Tsubasa Japan 3 - Mihara FC (more than 21 years old team) 1 Japan 2 - Mikadowa FC (more than 21 years old team) 0 Japan 2 - Toho FC (more than 21 years old team) 1 Japan 1 - Hamburgo SV 5 Japan 2 - Werder Bremen 3 Italy 1 - Werder Bremen 0 Japan 3 - Bayern Munich 0 Japan 3 - Belgium 1 Germany 4 - Canada 0 Germany 4 - Portugal 1 Portugal 1 - Canada 0 Uruguay 3 - Belgium 1 Uruguay 1 - Spain 0 Spain 2 - Belgium 2 France 3 - England 1 England 2 - Malasia 0 France 3 - Malasia 0 Japan 2 - Italy 1 Argentina 5 - Italy 0 Japan 5 - Argentina 4 Germany 6 - Uruguay 1 France 4 - Japan 4 (4-5 after penalty kicks) Japan 3 - Germany 2 Japan more than 21 years old team) 3 - Gremio 3 Bayern Munich 1 - Hamburgo SV 2 Nankatsu SC 0 - Ohtomo FC 1 Nankatsu SC 1 - Toho FC 2 0.8 Match results for Captain Tsubasa World Youth Inter Milan 2 - AC Milan 1 Inter Milan 2 - Juventus 3 Inter Milan 1 - Sampdoria 0 San Paulo FC 4 - CR Flamengo 3 Japan1 2 - R.J.7 3 Japan2 0 - R.J.7 5 Japan3 0 - R.J.7 6 Japan 2 - China Tai Pei 1 Thailand 12 - Guam 0 Japan 4 - Guam 0 Thailand 11 - China Tai Pei 0 Guam ? - China Tai Pei ? If you don't have the ball, left will be to try to intercept the ball, up will tackle the opposite player, right will block the opponent player (careful, you may get foul; however, you will never get cards... :-) ) and down won't do anything (only useful if your character is out of "energy"). You just need to press which side you want to select and then press the "A" key to select it. If that character has any special abilities, they will appear, followed by the "energy" cost. There are some more keys but I think you'll get them by yourself, I only referred the basic ones. 2.~ Walkthrough I must warn you, every time you finish the game it will be auto-saved, if you wish so you may play it all over again because it will be a lot more difficult by then... I won it 3 times and by now I would start at level 1 but the opponent team is at level 21, but you can skip those first matches for an easier game. Another thing, there are a lot of possible endings, depending on the team you fought in the final match. Until now, I found you can fight Italy, Holland and Germany at the end, although that last one isn't still refered here, maybe on next updates. San Paulo FC vs "Paisandou" Easy match, use Tsubasa's NeoCyclone (his 3rd shot) for a sure goal, if you are playing for the first time. Tsubasa will be no.8 for now, instead of no.10, which is being occupied by Stratto. Ishizaki will also be on your team, but he won't play by now, if you wish so you may exchange any player for him (he will be the first and only player on the substitutions list). San Paulo FC vs Cruzeiro Use Tsubasa once again, he is the best you have by now... San Paulo FC vs Vasco da Gama The same as before, all easy matches... As soon as Tsubasa gets the ball he will score, leaving even Stratto amazed. Be careful with the opponent's no.10 because he has a strong shot. In order to follow this walkthrough you will have to win this match. If you do it, PERHAPS you will see a screen asking YES or NO. To continue following me, pick YES. San Paulo vs Guarani From now on Tsubasa will be no.10 and Stratto will be no.9, who is very good although he doesn't have any special #yet#. As for the opponent team, you should just be careful with their no.10, since he has a special shot (appears to be the same as in the last match). San Paulo vs Sporting Good, their team is weak and Stratto will learn a new and amazing special shot after half time (or during this match, appears that he can also learn it as soon as Tsubasa gets the ball), which will grant you an free goal in this match. San Paulo vs Flamengo Hum, you must worry about their no.10, Artur Coimbra, whose Matsuha Shot is simply amazing and unstoppable by now. They also have Carlos Santana, but he won't be of much trouble, at least he wasn't to me... However, those two can join to perform a twin shot inside your goal area, and that will surely score by now. If you loose, press "hai" (YES written in japanese, the first option) in order to replay this match and win a couple more levels. This is important note that should be used every time you loose a match, ok? ;-) From now on I won't refer it again, but be sure to always have that in mind! San Paulo vs Bragantino This team appears not to have any special shot but their normal shots can even pass your GK, if you are at a low level. They also have a good defensive player and a strong GK. Both Tsubasa and Stratto's special shots work fine at close range. Now Tsubasa will be able to play in Brazil, for Latin America Cup... Brazil vs Venezuela They don't have any specials but their no.8 is at a high level, it's still easy to win since you are playing with a great team (doesn't the name say everything?). Use Tsubasa and Stratto to score easily but you can also use Coimbra (no.11) or Santana (no.8) for scoring even more goals. Brazil vs Peru Hum, they don't have any specials but they are all at a high level, you should be careful because their normal shots may even pass from your GK, who isn't good at all. Brazil vs Colombia HARD because they are at a high level and their best player (no.4) has a special tackle... For Tsubasa to learn a new dribble, have him confront this player 2 times and at the second time he will learn this "Clip Jump" (I believe that's the name) which costs 60 "energy" and is quite good. Use this new ability on the GK for a almost sure goal. The best way to score is using Coimbra, Santana, Tsubasa or Stratto's best shots right on the opponent GK. Now, you should loose here a coupld times just to win some levels, since the next match will be REALLY hard! Brazil vs Mexico I guess this would be an easy match if Hyuga (no.9) and Wakashimazu (GK) didn't played in the opposite team... They sure will be hard. For Hyuga, if he gets the ball try to take it away as soon as possible, even makings fouls, since he will use his Lightning Tiger Shot which is a sure goal most of the time. To score a goal to Wakashimazu, use your best shots right in front of this GK or even Tsubasa's Clip Jump technique; this way, he won't ever be able to use his sankakugeri to stop whatever you may try to shoot at him, making half the problem solved. YOU HAVE TO LOOSE THIS MATCH, THIS WALKTHROUGH ASSUMES YOU DID IT. Back to San Paulo matches... San Paulo vs Moscow You don't have Stratto anymore, so your team's attack may only depart from Tsubasa; Ishizaki will now play all the time, he will be no.5 . This team is somehow weak, just be careful since their GK has a strong special catch that he sometimes uses. San Paulo vs IFK Gotenborg Easy match, they have a forward at a high level but it won't be enough to win to you, always punch the ball back and use Tsubasa's Clip Jump technique in order to score as many goals as you can. San Paulo vs Burendi Well, another easy match, use Tsubasa's Clip Jump for an easy win. San Paulo vs Manchester United Their no.9 has a special shot which may put you into trouble. First half will be easy, but careful because at half time their best player will come into play: Hikaru Matsuyama! As you may know if you are a Tsubasa fan, he has a Eagle Shot that is very effective even from a long distance, but here he also has an Eagle Tackle, which turns out being quite effective; he will be no.9 in this match, which means that at least the other player with a powerful special shot will be put in the bench! San Paulo vs Barcelona Very easy match, just attack as much as you can and you will surely win. This team is so weak that most of the times it is safe for your GK to catch the ball. San Paulo vs Marseille Taro Misaki (no.8) plays in this team but he isn't that good... Just be careful with him when he is inside your penalty area (he only has aerial special shots). As for the rest of the team, their normal shots are good, so use your GK to punch them away. Oh, and strangely appears that there is no events between Tsubasa and Misaki... San Paulo vs Ajax Easy match, one of their players can use a Overhead Shot but he hardly uses it, mainly because he doesn't have a chance for it. If you need it, use Tsubasa's own Overhead Shot (it costs 160 "energy") to score. San Paulo vs Hamburgo SV BETTER LEVEL UP BEFORE PROCEEDING! Kinda like the match against Hyuga and Wakashimazu, this time you will play against the Pobulsen (no.11) and the "Super Great Goal Keeper" Wakabayashi. Pobulsen's Marter shot is more than enough for your weak GK, so try to take the ball from him as soon as possible, even if you need to injure him. As for Wakabayashi, the best way to ensure a goal is by using Tsubasa's Clip Jump and hope this will fool him. San Paulo vs Juventus Hum, this team is powerful, many of their players are at a high level, so try to be careful and spare Tsubasa for the final shot, since he must be the best player you have by now, with that Clip Jump technique you can use even on this GK for a almost sure goal, if you are at a high level. Also, be really careful with their forward that has blond hair, since all of his shots seem to be able to score to your weak goalkeeper. San Paulo vs Milan It appears you former player Stratto now plays on this team and you know how good is special shot is... however, he will just get into play on the second half of the game. They also have another good player, Pipin (no.11), who has a good special shot. The main players of this team may cause you some trouble because the are always at a high level, only Tsubasa will be of any trouble to them. Now, you DON'T have to win this match, and you can just loose to continue playing... Japan vs UAE Easy match... their GK seems to be just a normal type (if you played C.T.5 you know what I am talking about) plus you have all those folks from Japan, except for Hyuga and Wakashimazu (who will join later)... Yeah, you even have Wakabayashi, so the opponent team won't have much chances of scoring goals! As for attack, you may trust in Nitta's (no.11) Falcon Shot or Falcon Volley; the Tachibana Brothers many combos; Misaki's jumping techniques, with the incredible and very useful Twin Overhead Shot (which he performs with Tsubasa); Tsubasa's already known techniques and... all the others... The Tachibana may learn a new shot if you walk them up to the opponent GK! Japan vs China Their no.11 and no.9 are very quick and they seem to have a combined Head Kick which will even score to Wakabayashi. Their Gk is somehow good, but he won't be enough to grant the winning to the opponent team. Japan vs Korea Hum, the best players of this team are no.10 and no.9, they seem to have a Twin Shot but they hardly ever use it (at least when I played...), so it's quite easy to win. For an even easier game, you may put Misugi into play, he will be the last one from the substitutions list. Ho, I'm not sure of this, but the Tachibana Brothers may use one Skylab Double Strike (it costs 370 "energy") if you get near from the opponent's GK. Japan vs Saudi Arabia Although most of this team is at level 22, specially the forwards, they won't pose much of a problem if you don't let them shot inside of your goal area, making this a easy match. Use Misaki's Moon Slider Passcuter, it works fine to intercept all those opponent passes. Japan vs USA It appears they got some backup this time, with Jack (no.10) who will cause you some trouble (he has a breaking dribble), not talking about the american captain, Michael (no.11), with his Rose Dribble and Rose Shot. Just don't let this last one get the ball (since it may be hard to take the ball from him) and everything will go fine into the final whistle. Tsubasa's shots and the ones of Misaki work fine, since their opponent is quite weak. Japan vs Brazil Wakashimazu and Hyuga are now on your team! YEAH! As for the opponent team, doesn't the name say everything? This will be one of the most difficult matches you see up to now, almost every of the opponent's shots may score #even to Wakabayashi# (yeah, he is still better than Wakashimazu), making you to loose. Coimbra, Santana, Gertize and all the others play in this team, so you will have a hard time scoring any goals. Hyuga's Breaking Dribble work as fine in the opponent GK as Tsubasa's Heel Lift, so use both of them to score, since I believe only them can do it. For Wakashimazu to learn a new and very useful Sankakugeri, let Coimbra use his only special shot and Wakashimazu will learn it. It is possible to win this match (and you will get this team on the 2P mode) but it will be very hard, so begginers shouldn't even try it since YOU DON'T HAVE TO WIN THIS MATCH! Japan vs Egipt Easy match, their normal shots are powerful but you can always punch them away. For better results, trade Wakashimazu for Wakabayashi because this last one is a lot better, altough he doesn't have any special catch. Japan vs France This time they are a good team, with Pipin (no.11, their best player, from the Milan team), Napoleon (no.9), Pierre (no.10) and their no.7, who has a special shot. The best way to win is by using Tsubasa, Hyuga, Misaki and the Tachibana Brothers to attack (since their GK isn't good at all) and all the others to defend... If you get the chance, use Matsuyama's Eagle Shot near the middle of the field for a chance of scoring with a defensive player (no, I don't believe Sõda, Jitõ and Ishizaki can score at all in this part of the game). Japan vs Colombia From now on, always trade Wakashimazu for Wakabayashi at the beginning of the game for standing a chance of winning. This is a "not so common and easy match", you may score with almost everything, the only problem is that a defensive player (their number 4, I bet you still know who he is, right? ;) ) will intercept or cut most of your passes. Japan vs Denmark In this team the best player is their GK (he has a good special catch), in order to get an easy goal pass the ball as soon as possible to Hyuga and use his new shot (a cool one-time Tiger Dragon Shot, costs 500 "energy"), which will grant you a free goal. From now on, Hyuga can use a fantastic Dragon Shot! Apart from doing this, you can use Misaki's Jumping Shot or Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot (and if he is at a high level he will even be able to score with his Drive Shot). About the rest of team, you don't even have to worry about them, since all the players are quite weak. Japan vs Holland Their best player is Fanberg (no.9)... This no.9 has a special but he hardly ever uses it, so try to keep the ball away from him and attack fast with Hyuga's Dragon Shot (even from the middle of the field, so powerful that it is), Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot and Misaki's Twin Overhead Shot (I believe this is his best special) because even Fanberg's NORMAL shots are a almost sure goal all the time! Also, most of that team is also quite good, despite not having any specials. Be careful with all of their attacks, ok? Japan vs Germany This will be really hard, Schneider (no.11) can use a NeoFire Shot, which can be a big trouble even for Wakabayashi. Their GK, Muller, this time isn't very good, Hyuga is able to score with his Dragon Shot even from the middle of the field. You must still watch out for most of the players, since you never know what they will do next; Kartz (no.7) has a very good special dribble, Schester can intercept some of your passes and most players can also use their own specials, so you must be quite careful, remember that the match is only won at its end. For an easier match, trade Nitta (your no.11) for Misugi. Also, if you score first, you may see a small cutscene with Schneider! Japan vs Argentina "Soccer Prodigy" Diaz vs Tsubasa... Both Diaz (no.10) and Pascual (no.8) seem to have lost some abilities from the previous games (strangely, they have them back in CT5) but their no.11 (Batin?) appears to have a strong shot. Trade Nitta for Misugi, put Wakabayashi into play, use Hyuga (his Overhead Shot still works fine), Tsubasa and Misaki for scoring and everything will go fine. As you may imagine, Diaz is really dangerous, and it is quite hard to take the ball from him since he is a REALLY good dribbler and his shots (both the normal ones or special ones) are quite good, so try making fouls to him or something, just GET THE BALL OUT FROM HIM!!! At the end Tsubasa seems to be practicing one of Diaz's shots (Cyclone Shot, which is actually a shot he had back in CT3, but he stopped using it due to an injury), but you don't seem to be able to use it in the next matches, meaning that perhaps you will get it later on! ;-) Japan vs Italy THE FINAL MATCH! Your pal Stratto is back, he will be no.9. Their no.7, no.10 and no.11 seem to have some specials but you must be told of their GK, Gino Hernandez, one of the best you will see, his Golden Hand catch (in this game, it looks almost like a normal save! -_- ) sure is hot. For an easy win, just put Wakabayashi as a GK and use him to punch all of Stratto's shots, which you must be very careful of when he performs them inside your goal area. Their no. 7 seems to have a very good special head shot, but I couldn't find out which of them. For striking, use Tsubasa, Misaki and Hyuga, as before... After that, watch your first (cool) ending sequence and the game will then be auto-saved. CONTINUE PLAYING USING YOUR NEW SAVEGAME, and now you will be able to skip some matches, which are mainly the ones you already played before. San Paulo FC vs "Paisandou" Skip it... if you are wondering, you can skip a match by pressing the last option, I mean, a new option that should have now appeared below the option you used to choose in order to save your game. San Paulo FC vs Cruzeiro Skip this one, too! San Paulo FC vs Vasco da Gama An easy match, but you will have to WIN IT! C'mon, it isn't that hard, is it? -_- Now, you will have a YES/NO choice, to continue following this guide you will have to pick... YES! San Paulo vs Guarani Skip it. San Paulo vs Sporting Skip it. San Paulo vs Flamengo Skip it. San Paulo vs Bragantino Skip it. Brazil vs Venezuela Skip it. Brazil vs Peru Skip it. Brazil vs Colombia Skip it. Brazil vs Mexico Do just like you did before, just be careful because you need to LOOSE THIS MATCH, I believe you will be able to do it by yourself ( -_-' or at least you should ) but if you can't manage to loose, just stop playing! LOOSE THIS MATCH, OK???? After this, you'll be able to choose from 2 options, YES or NO... PICK "NO", ok?????? Now, you will be able to create the stats for the character that you named when you created your first save game. I don't think you need any help with that, do you? As for special for your character, you will learn them depending on your level, so I can't exactly say when you will learn each of them! Well, back to the walkthrough... your coach is now Mikami... Fussball vs Seinan Miracle Well, you won't play with Tsubasa but your team has Nitta (no.11) and Sõda (no.2) and you will be playing against a team with no good players at all, so I hope you win really fast. Use Nitta's Falcon Shot (or Falcon Volley) or even Sõda's Kamisori Shot for scoring, but if you distributed your character stats equally you can use him to score too because he will be a good player, although he doesn't have any specials #yet#, and he will be your no.9. Fussball vs Touhou University Their team isn't very but you mustn't get over-confident, I believe you will defeat them but they may surely put you into trouble, so try using Sõda, Nitta and your character for scoring. Fussball vs Netz East Japan Huh, this may be hard, you will be playing against Tachibana Twins' team. Masao (no.11) and Kazuo (no.9) wonderful combinations work only on your goal area (except for the Gemini Combination they use to advance in the field), so try to keep them away from there and everything will go fine. Nitta's Falcon Volley works fine, as well as your character's special shot at short range, if you already have it. Fussball vs Toutodai SV Sano (no.9) and Jitõ (no.5) play in this team, but they aren't good at all... I mean, Sano has an Overhead Shot and Jitõ has a Sano Combination Shot, Breaking Dribble, Power Block and Power Tackle. If you stop Jitõ on the middle of the field his special shot ( Sano Combination Shot ) won't be good at all so you don't have to worry. Use the same as before plus you can use Sõda to shoot on the corner kicks, for better results. Fussball vs Musashi Rollers Easy match, I don't believe you will need any help at all but if you do... just use any of Nitta's specials inside the penalty area, your character's shot or even Sõda's Kamisori Shot if you get the chance for it. Jun Misugi plays in this team (only on the second half of the game), he is no.11, but he won't cause you much trouble. Fussball vs Wings Hum, they don't have any specials but Kisugi (no.9), Taki (no.7), Izawa (no.10)and Takasugi (no.5) are at a high level , which may cause you some trouble. For easier goals, use your special shots right on the opponent's GK. I THINK IT'S BETTER TO LOOSE 4 OR 5 TIMES JUST TO LEVEL UP! San Paulo vs Japan Well, this will be kinda hard because you have Tsubasa on your team but your are fighting your own national team (without Hyuga, Misaki, Wakabayashi, Wakashimazu, Matsuyama, Ishizaki and, of course, Tsubasa), and of course they will play very good, even without having their best players. I believe only Tsubasa can score, his NeoCyclone Shot is really good (but costy :-/ ) so maybe you need to score using Tsubasa's Heel Lift (no, he doesn't have Clip Jump right now) to pass from Morisaki (the Japanese GK in this match). The three of Shutetsu (Kisugi, Taki and Izawa) will use a combined tackle to take the ball from Tsubasa the first time he gets the ball in the second half of the game, but the rest is ok. Finally, I heard a rumor saying that it is possible to Nitta to learn a Breaking Dribble in this match by being tackle by Tsubasa, but I couldn't do it, so I can't be sure if it's the truth or not. After winning (or skipping the match, if you really can't seem to win it), Tsubasa will join his national team and play a couple matches against some clubs. Japan vs Manchester United Their no.9 has a very powerful shot that will surely cause trouble if you are not at a high level; at the second half Matsuyama will get into play, substituting their other no.9, so you must be even more careful. They also seem to have Robson (their no. 4) which is a good defender and has some specials (but he doesn't have any special shot!), but he won't be seen in the actions very often. For winning, you should bet on Tsubasa's Heel Lift or in the Tachibana Brothers' Skylab Typhoon, since those are the best
shots you have by now.

If you really can't seem to do win, it's a better idea to keep on trying
just to level up, since the other matches will be even harder...

					Japan vs Marseille
They just have a very good player, Misaki (no.8), but his specials just
work in the goal area, so keep him away from there and you'll have an
easier way to the victory. Tsubasa's Heel Lift technique for scoring work
fine most of the time.

From now on Misaki, Matsuyama and Misugi will also be on your team...
well, sort of, Misugi's still on the bench, but you can put him on your
team whenever you want...

					Japan vs Argentinos
Hum, it appears "Soccer Prodigy" Diaz plays on this team, he is no.10,
and he sure is good. For winning, be careful with ANY shots from Diaz,
since he is also a very good player, apart from an amazing dribbler (so
good that you entire team may have problems taking the ball from him).
His first Cyclone Shot will even amaze Tsubasa (if you ever played CT3
you will know why...). Tsubasa's NeoCyclone and Heel Lift work fine at
close range, as well as your character's special shot.

Be careful, since this match appears to have a different ending (which
doesn't seem to matter for the story) depending on if you either won
or loose it. After the match, Hyuga and Wakashimazu will join your
team, and that's always nice! ;-)

					Japan vs Thailand
This match will be quite easy, they are not at an high level plus
they don't have any special shots at all. Hyuga's Tiger Overhead Shot
works fine as well as Tsubasa's shots.

					Japan vs China
Once again (yeah, if you read the walkthrough in order), their no.11
and no.9 are very quick and they seem to have a combined Head Kick
which can even score to Wakashimazu. Their Gk is somehow good, but he
won't be enough to grant the winning to the his team. With a "little"
help from Tsubasa's Heel Lift and Hyuga's Breaking Dribble, you will
surely win.

					Japan vs Saudi Arabia
(... no commments...) Although most of this team is at a high level,
specially the forwards, they won't pose much of a problem if you don't
let them shot inside of your goal area, making this a easy match. Use
Misaki's Moon Slider Passcuter, it works fine to intercept all those
opponent passes.

					Japan vs Korea
No.10 has a Twin Shot, no.9 has a Twin Shot plus a Breaking Dribble,
but they are not good at all (nor the team). For Hyuga to learn a new
shot, pass him the ball and dribble (always dribble!) up to the
opponent GK, at a certain time he will use a Tiger Dragon Shot which
will even break the wall; although, he can only use the Dragon Shot,
you won't see this shot ever again. :-( For more goals, use Hyuga's
new Dragon Shot (it costs 500 "energy", effective even at long range),
Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot or Heel Lift, Misaki's Jumping Shot or even
Nitta's Falcon Volley.

After the match, Michael will appear with... bananas for Ishizaki! Now,
you will need to WIN the next 3 matches, or else... well, trust me, you
don't wanna know what will happen then!

					Japan vs USA

It appears they got some backup, with Jack (no.10) who will cause you
some trouble (he has a breaking dribble), not talking about the american
captain, Michael (no.11), with his Rose Dribble and Rose Shot. Just don't
let this last one get the ball (since it's hard to take the ball from him)
and everything will go fine into the final whistle. Tsubasa's shots,
Hyuga's Dragon Shot, Misaki's Jumping Shot and Twin Overhead Shot work
fine. YOU MUST WIN IT!!!

					Japan vs England
Their no.9 seems to have a special shot, as well as their captain,
Robson (no.4), a defensive player who has Power Tackle, Power Block
and Breaking Dribble. You would better shoot at close range so that
Robson won't cut/block your shots; Tsubasa's shots work fine as well as
Hyuga's. YOU MUST WIN IT!!!!

Strangely, during this match I noticed that Wakashimazu had a new special
technique, I didn't noticed it but perhaps he learns it in this match or
in the match before.

					Japan vs Cameroon
Well, they don't look good at all, their no.9 has a special shot but the
rest of the team sucks, I hope you get an easy win with Tsubasa, Hyuga
and Misaki's shots. YOU MUST WIN IT!!!!

					Japan vs Argentina
"Soccer Prodigy" Diaz vs Tsubasa... Both Diaz (no.10) and Pascual (no.8)
seem to have lost some abilities (from Captain Tsubasa 3) but their
no.11 (Batin?) appears to have a Twin Shot (I'm not sure if that's really
him, since I'll translate all the moves later on). Use Hyuga, Tsubasa and
Misaki for scoring and everything will go fine, most of the time. Diaz
appears to be able to use NeoCyclone Shot, so this match may be quite hot.
Wakashimazu will learn a new sankakugeri on this match, I don't know how
or why but I believe he will learn it automatically.

					Japan vs Austria
The classic easy match, the opponent team's normal shots may sometimes
score to Wakashimazu but Tsubasa, Hyuga, Misugi and Misaki's specials
will be enough for them.

After this match, Wakabayashi will be back. However, he is not currently
playing, so be sure to put trade Wakashimazu for him before each match,
ok?

					Japan vs Brazil
This time, you will really have a hard time, with all those specials
from the brazillian team. Specially, you must watch Santana (no. 9) and
Coimbra (no.10). As for Gertize, their GK, his "Dark Catch" is more than
enough for most pathetic shots from the japanese players, so for scoring
you must use Tsubasa or Hyuga at close range... if you are really
desperate, use Tsubasa's Heel Lift or Hyuga's Breaking Dribble right on
the GK. Wakabayashi will be able to handle most of the opponent's shots
from outside the penalty area (I think he can catch 95% of them), so be
sure to keep them away from there, ok? For an extra scene, have Tsubasa
dribble in the limit of your opponent's penalty area, he will use his
NeoCyclone Shot and... it MAY SCORE or NOT! That appears to be random...

					Japan vs France
Well, they aren't that good at all, even from the help of a new player,
Pipin (no.11, from the Milan team); Napoleon (no.9) and Pierre (no.10)
are also there, as well as a new no.7 who has a special shot. For easily
winning, use Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot or Heel Lift (well, even the Drive
Shot, if you are at a high level) and Hyuga's Dragon Shot, or even your
weaker shots but inside of their goal area.

					Japan vs Italy
Your ex-teammate Stratto is back, he will be no.9, and he is really good,
don't let him shoot inside your goal area since not even Wakabayashi will
be able to stop it. Their no.7, no.10 and no.11 seem to have some
specials but you must be told of their GK, Gino Hernandez, who used to be
the best in Europe... his Golden Hand catch used to be really good, but
not anymore. Their no.7 also seems to have a very good head shot, and you
should also be really careful with it.

					Japan vs Germany
Only the best should be on the field, so trade Wakashimazu for Wakabayashi
and, if you desire so, Nitta for Misugi (or for the player you created).
The match will be quite hard, Schneider (no.11) can use a NeoFire Shot
(Wakabayashi will stop the first one) which can be a big trouble even for
Wakabayashi. If Pobursen (their no. 8) gets confronted with Tsubasa, he
will unleash an incredible shot which can even score to Wakabayashi from
the other side of the field, so if you see it be sure to try punching it.
The german GK, Muller, this time isn't good at all, Hyuga is able to score
with his Dragon Shot even from the middle of the field. You must still
watch out for most of the players, since you never know what the will do
next; Kartz (no.7) has a very good special dribble and most players can
also use their own specials, so you must be quite careful with each of
them. For scoring, it's better to use Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot, Hyuga's
Dragon Shot and Misaki's Twin Overhead Shot.

					Japan vs Holland
THE FINAL (yet easy) MATCH! Their best player is Fanberg (no.9)... Well,
keeping concentrated on the match... This no.9 has a very good Overhead
Shot but he hardly ever uses it, so try to keep the ball from him and
attack fastly with Hyuga's Dragon Shot (even from the middle of the field,
so powerful it is), Tsubasa's NeoCyclone Shot (or the Cyclone Shot) and
Misaki's Twin Overhead Shot because Fanberg normal shots are a sure goal
almost all the time! For Tsubasa to "learn" his Cyclone Shot, have him
dribble (just the normal dribble) up to the opponent's GK, a defensive
player will appear coming out of nowhere and he will use it. From now on,
instead of Tsubasa being able to use his NeoCyclone Shot (which costed 500
"energy") he will be able to use his old Cyclone Shot, which costs less
energy and is even more powerful.

After winning, Watch the cool ending sequence and then your game will once
again be auto-saved.

CONTINUE PLAYING USING YOUR NEW SAVEGAME, you will be able to skip some
matches you have already played...

					San Paulo FC vs "Paisandou"
Skip it...

					San Paulo FC vs Cruzeiro
Skip this one, too...

San Paulo vs Vasco da Gama
Although this is a easy match you must loose for being able to achieve
the complete game. So, LOOSE IT!!!!!!!!!

After the match, you'll be able to chose from two options, pick "YES" and
continue playing.

					San Paulo vs IFK Gotenborg
Skip it.

					San Paulo vs Manchester Utd.
This is another match you should skip.

					San Paulo vs Barcelona
Skip this one...

					San Paulo vs Burnaby
Another match to skip...

					San Paulo vs Ayatukusu
Skip, as usual.

					San Paulo vs Marseille
Skip it.

					San Paulo vs Hamburgo SV
Of course you will skip thos one, too...

					San Paulo vs AC Milan
Although this is an hard match, I won't refer to it right now since you
MUST LOOSE in order to continue playing. So, LOOSE!

Stratto will leave the team but you will get a new GK (If I recall, his
name is Bamora, Brazil's second GK, after the incredible Gertize) who
will surely be of great help, to exchance the "not-so-good" GK you used
to have on your team. Also, Ishizaki will now play in the main team all
the time, but you will no longer have Stratto on your team, meaning that
most attacks will have to come from Tsubasa or from your weak forwards.

					San Paulo vs Fluminense
Easy match, you can easily win but if you really need it, you may use
Bamora's special catch to stop any shots. You can score easily with
Tsubasa's Drive Shot (mainly inside the goal area, for a almost sure
goal) or with aerial shots from your no.9 and no.11 .

Now you will receive a new player called Nelson, he will be no.6 and
he has 2 specials (a shot and a dribble) which you must surely use, in
order to have more chances of winning the next matches.

					San Paulo vs Goias
Easy match, Nelson's special shot and Tsubasa's Drive Shot inside the
opponent's goal area will be enough for winning, also you should use
Bamora's special catch in order to defend some hard shots.

					San Paulo vs Atlético
Another easy match, they won't pose much of a trouble since they don't
have any specials at all but their normal shots *may* be able to score
you sometimes. The first time Tsubasa tries to tackle someone, he will
miss it. Then, Nelson will take the ball away from that player and score
a goal right away with his special. Hey, it's always nice to receive a
free goal, right?

					San Paulo vs Sport
Although their GK is somehow good, you can score some goal with
Tsubasa's Drive Overhead Shot or even Nelson's special shot, from
inside the goal area. The rest of the team won't pose much of a
trouble to you.

					San Paulo vs Palmeiras
A pretty equaled match, if you are not at a high level. Use Tsubasa
and Nelson for scoring and all the others do defend (any player who
has special shots, should be used in corner kicks), since this team's
normal shots are good enough to score you a goal, EVEN from outside
the goal area.

					San Paulo vs Guaranii
Easy match, you will score easily. Although an opponent has a special
shot, Bamora's special catch is enough for it.

					San Paulo vs Braganatino
This team's defense is quite good, I couldn't score many goals but maybe
you will. They just have a good defender and a nice goalkeeper, so
strike with Tsubasa and Nelson and defend with Bamora for having more
chances of winning.

					San Paulo vs Flamengo
You'll be playing again against Coimbra and Santana, as you already
know they are quite good but your new GK Bamora will be enough to
stop their special shots most of the times. If Tsubasa doesn't have
his Clip Jump technique yet, you may get it in this game by having
him dribble near the middle of the field, a player will come out of
nowhere and he will learn this technique. Have Tsubasa and Nelson score
as many goals as you can, Bamora ALWAYS use his special catch against
the special shots of Coimbra and Santana and then counter with a mass
attack from the entire team.

					San Paulo vs Botafogo
Easy match, Tsubasa and Nelson are enough for scoring. Just be careful
since they may score 1 or 2 goals to your great GK.

San Paulo vs Vasco da Gama
Good match, they have a player with a strong special but Bamora's
special catch will be able to stop it most of the times, apart from
that you mustn't be worried cause you can win easily.

After this match you will receive 2 new players, Nitta (of course,
that's Nitta from the Japan team; he will be no.11) and Mauricio
(from now on, no.8).

					San Paulo vs Montevideo
This team has some good players, their forward Victorino (from the
Uruguay team) has a really good shot that not even Bamora will be
able to stop much of the times he uses it. As for Mauricio, one of
your new players, he will learn a new special Overhead Shot once the
opponent GK punches the ball away (I couldn't be 100% sure of this, but
I could understand that if he shoots the ball and the opponent goalkeeper
punches it, he will get angry and really learn it). Ishizaki can also
learn a power tackle, once a a player from the opponent team starts
dribbling your team members with a special dribble. For winning, strike
as much as you can with Nitta's Falcon Volley, Tsubasa's aerial moves,
Mauricio's newly acquired special and, as usual, with Nelson's special.
Eventually you will win, but don't forget that it may be harder than it
seems.

					Mexico City vs Bogota
Easy match, Kojirõ Hyuga is one of the best players you will ever see
(as usual, he will be no.9) and you also have Wakashimazu (GK) on the
team, so I hope you have a good time scoring goals to this weak team.

					San Paulo vs Argentinos
This is a REALLY HARD MATCH, although the opponent team just has 2
good players, Diaz (no.10) and Pascual (no.9?), but they will surely
put you into trouble. Every time Pascual gets the ball, he will pass
it to Diaz, who can surely dribble all your team, enter the goal area
and then shot, for a sure goal. Most of the time he uses his Drive Shot,
but he may also "learn" Cyclone Shot, which will be a sure goal all the
times. For striking, use mainly Tsubasa since all the other players are
not at a high level, so you may use Tsubasa's aerial moves or you may
try dribbling the opponent GK with any of Tsubasa's special dribbles.
As for defending (which will surely be a hard task), try do all you
learned up to now so that Diaz won't be able to score or, even better,
than he won't even get the ball.

I don't believe you will be able to win easily (mainly since you may not
have been at a high level), but that doesn't matter much since, either
way, you will pass to the next level.

					Mexico City vs Los Angeles
This team's only good player is Michael, who has a "quite impressive"
special dribble, he also has a special shot (called Rose Buster) but
Wakashimazu's Sankakugeri will be able to defend it most of the times.
For scoring, use Hyuga's best shot inside the goal area or try using
Hyuga's aerial moves for scoring, I guess they are the best you have by
now. Since Mihael is the only valuable player in the opponent team, you
can easily neutralize him, just by tackling him in every chance you
have. For a small scene, have Hyuga tackle Michael as soon as the match
begin, Michael will be able to pass him this time. As for the other times,
it only depends on the stats of your players.

					San Paulo vs Mexico City
This is going to be a tough match, by now you already know what to expect
from the opponent. The safest (only, if you are at a low level) way of
scoring is by having Tsubasa use his special dribble against Wakashimazu,
since his Sankakugeri is able to stop almost every shot. For defending
against Hyuga, just have your players tackle him (although it won't be
very effective most of the times) and always use Bamora's special catch
against Hyuga's Tiger Lightning Shot.

With some effort you may be able to win, but if you don't manage to do
so you don't have to worry, since the same scene will appear either you
win or you loose.
					San Paulo vs Feyernoord
Easy match, this team doesn't have any valuable players so the best
strategy is to strike with all the players of your team, as much as you
can so that you can score a lot of goals. YOU MUST WIN!

San Paulo vs Beijing New Star
This could be a difficult match if you don't follow my advices. This team
has 3 main players, the same as from the China national team: Lee-hanne
and Lee-bankun can combine to perform a great special heading which will
almost surely score to you; as for their GK, he is able to throw back some
of the shots you send at him. So, if you want to win you must have Tsubasa
strike inside the goal area (or dribble de GK, I believe this technique is
even better), as well as Nelson. For defending against the opponent attacks,
have Bamora use his special catch against any of the Lee Twins (they look
like Ishizaki, if you don't know japanese) strikes and have him punch (or
catch, depending on your stats) the ball from all the other players. If you
follow all this you will surely win. YOU MUST WIN!

					San Paulo vs Bordeaux
This is a one-man team, you must be really careful with Pierre, since his
special shot (it is Slider Shot, if you are wondering) can score even
from a large distance. Apart from that, try scoring as many goals as you
can with the players from your team that have any special shots and defend
with Bamora's special. YOU MUST WIN!

					San Paulo vs Los Angeles
If you remember, this match won't be very dificult. Use Bamora's special
catch against Michael's Rose Buster and use all the team to try to take the
ball from him, then quickly counterattack with Tsubasa and Nelson. For
Nitta to learn a new Shot, have Ishizaki tackle Michael, the ball will be
thrown away, Nitta will catch it and perform it. From now on, you will be
able to perform that shot whenever you want! YOU MUST WIN!

If you won all the 3 matches you will be taken to the next match, else you
will have to play against Feternoord and the other 3 matches again.

					San Paulo vs Milan
This match is somehow hard, in the first half they have a player with a
really strong special, but in the second half he will be switched with
Stratto. If you didn't get Stratto's special this second half will
surely be easier, but you must still worry with the other player in the
first half. Bamora's special catch isn't able to stop it, so it's better
for you to score as many goals as you can, using Tsubasa's special dribble
(to go past the opponent GK and easily scoring a goal) or Nelson's special
shot, which still works fine in this part of the game. Don't worry if you
loose, you'll level up and the match will be surely be easier next time,
ok?

					San Paulo vs Bayern
The Kaiser, Karl Heinz Schneider, plays in this team, and as you may know
he is the only good player there (in this game). His NeoFire Shot is still
one of the best specials ever, so you must be really careful with it, but
there isn't much you can do since he is also a very good player, apart
from his special shots. Try scoring as many goals as you can, like in the
previous match, so the Kaiser won't be able to win just by himself. Pass
the ball in the first half of the game for them to Mauricio, who will once
again miss his shot. Then, on the second half you can pass him the ball
so that he can learn his special shot, and to get a free goal!

					San Paulo vs Argentinos
Once again you will be playing against this team, you already know about
their strategy: a player gets the ball, pass it to Pascual and then he
passes it to Diaz, who is able to dribble your entire team (like in the
anime/manga) and then score a goal. So, use Tsubasa and Nelson to score and
all the others to defend from the opponents attacks, try scoring as much as
you can and you'll win at least. To get Diaz a special shot, have Tsubasa
tackle him, he will perform an amazing shot and score a 100% sure goal.
This is going to be a really tough match, so it's better for you to level
up a couple levels before continuing.

					San Paulo vs Japan
This is going to be the third final you'll be playing, if you follow all
this walktrough. This match isn't very hard, although you must be really
careful with Misugi, who will enter the field after half time. I don't
believe you will have much trouble winning this, just level up until you
GK (Bamora) can stop or catch those weak opponent shots and use his
special for being able to catch their specials. Strike with Tsubasa,
Nelson, Mauricio and Nitta since Wakabayashi, the opponent GK, isn't very
good at all. Just don't strike from outside the goal area since
Wakabayashi will be able to stop any of the shots from outside of it. If,
still, you have trouble winning this match, level up and keep on trying,
this isn't very difficult at all.

NOW, YOU GAME WILL ONCE AGAIN BE SAVED. As usual, you should load the game
that was just saved and continue playing...

					San Paulo FC vs "Paisandou"
As you may imagine, skip it...

					San Paulo FC vs Cruzeiro
By the way, you should skip this one, too...

San Paulo vs Vasco da Gama
As last time, you should LOOSE THIS MATCH!!!!!!!!!

After the match, you'll be able to chose from two options, pick "YES" and
continue playing.

					San Paulo vs IFK Gotenborg
As usual, skip it.

					San Paulo vs Manchester Utd.
Skip this one too...

					San Paulo vs Barcelona
Yeah, I know that Spain is nice, but this is another match you should
skip...

					San Paulo vs Burnaby
Skip it!

					San Paulo vs Ayatukusu
Skip, as usual.

					San Paulo vs Marseille
Skip it.

					San Paulo vs Hamburgo SV
Of course you will skip thos one, too...

					San Paulo vs Milan

The strategy for this match isn't needed at all, since you will have to
LOOSE IT! OK??? LOOSE IT!

At the end you will see the usual 2 options, be sure to pick the option
that appears on the right, I mean, pick "NO".

After a somehow big cutscene you will be able to create a character once
again and then start having some matches.

				Scudetto vs University Selection S
This match may become really hard if you don't know how to play very
well... Both Sõda (no.2) and Morisaki (GK) play in this team, Misugi is
also in it but he will only enter in the second half, in which he will be
no.11. You must be really careful about Sõda's Kamisori Shot since your
weak GK doesn't have much of a chance against this shot... You must also
be careful about Misugi, try scoring as much as you can in the first term
since in the second one Misugi will enter the field and he may cause you
some trouble. Hum, be careful about Morisaki since he will be able to stop
the first of Tsubasa's shots! If you don't seem to be able to defeat this
team, just level up as said multiple times in this faq.

				Scudetto vs Seinan Miracle
Kishida, Nishio, Nakayama, Urabe and Nitta (no.11) play here, but only
this last one may put you some trouble. Their GK is quite good, so you
won't have many chances of scoring, so try to use each of them as good as
you can. Use your GK to punch the ball every time Nitta uses his Falcon
Shot, as for the Falcon Volley be careful since you won't be able to stop
it. Use Tsubasa to score as much as you can.

				Scudetto vs Netz East Japan
Masao (no.11) and Kazuo Tachibana (no.9) play here, plus Oda (no.5)... You
have to worry about the killer combinations that both twins can use, since
your weak GK isn't able to stop them. Try striking with Tsubasa, once
more... This may become quite hard if you don't play very good, so don't
worry if you need a couple of level ups.

				Scudetto vs Nankatsu Wings
It appears that your old pals Izawa (no.10), Kisugi (no.9), Taki (no.7)
and Takasugi (no.5) still play here, but they aren't very good... One or
two goals by Tsubasa will be enough, since they don't play very well,
just be careful about Taki since he can advance in the field really
quickly!

				Scudetto vs University Selection V
Sorimachi (no.10), Sawada (no.9), Sano (no.8) and Jitõ (no.3) appear to
play here and but they aren't very good, except for Jitõ. Once again just
strike as much as you can and everything will go just fine, just be
careful when Jitõ approaches since he is able to stop almost every of your
moves.

After winning this match you'll see that everyone is training really hard
to develop new techniques, and you'll get in touch with them in the next
matches...

				Scudetto vs University Selection S
Yep, here they are, once again! As said before, you just need to be
careful with Soda's Kamisori Shot but this time you must be even more
careful with Misugi, since he has a new special shot. Hope you can win! ;)
Once again, strike mainly with Tsubasa and your no.9, if required you may
even strike with Ishizaki's cute Monkey Buster!

				Scudetto vs Seinan Miracle
This is going to be a tough battle... Nitta (no.11) has a new special shot
which is really powerful and you won't be able to stop, so try to take him
the ball as soon as possible every time he gets it. However, he will only
show it after a few tries (3 or 4, if I remember correctly)... For
scoring, try using Tsubasa,
even if you need to use his Heel Lift
technique in front of the opponent GK!

				Scudetto vs Netz East Japan
The Tachibana Twins' are back, and once again they just pose you any
trouble if they get into your goal area, although they have a new
technique. Score with Tsubasa and don't let the twins get the ball, if you
do this you will have an easy victory.

				Scudetto vs Nankatsu Wings
They will only put you into trouble if you are not at a high level, if you
can't really seem to win then you should try a couple level ups.

				Scudetto vs University Selection V
This surely is going to be a tough match, they have new players, so on
this team now the players are: Sorimachi (no.11), Sawada (no.10), Hyuga
(no.9), Sano (no.7), Jitõ (no.3) and Wakashimazu (GK). Fortunately Misaki
will join your team, he will be no.8. Doesn't matter if you win or not,
but if you wanna try winning just try to take the ball from Hyuga every
time he has it plus try scoring with Tsubasa or Misaki, since they are the
only players on your team that has any chance of scoring a goal to the
opponent GK.

				Japan vs England
You'll now be playing with Japan's National Team... This is going to be an
easy match, just be careful their no.9 since he has a strong special shot
which Wakashimazu may not be able to stop "normally", so use his
Sankakugeri to stop it. As for striking, use Matsuyama's Eagle Shot, any
of Hyuga's shots, Tsubasa's Drive Shot and NeoCyclone Shot or anything
else should do the trick by now. The english captain, Robson (no.4), may
also cause you some trouble since he is a good defender.

				Japan vs Denmark
Apart from their GK, this team doesn't pose you much of a trouble... You
can score to him with Hyuga or Tsubasa, if required you may use Tsubasa's
NeoCyclone Shot inside of the goal area, most of the times 2 or 3 goals
will be enough to win this match.

				Japan vs France
Easy match, only have to worry about Pierre (no.10), Napoleon (no.9) and
Pipin (no.11), since they have strong shots, but most of the times
Wakashimazu's Sankakugeri is able to stop them. Almost everyone can score,
so try scoring as many goals as you can.

				Japan vs China
The only problematic players in this team are Lee-Hanne (no.11) and
Lee-Bankun (no.9), their special heading shot is really good and
Wakashimazu isn't able to stop it EVEN USING HIS SANKAKUGERI. Their GK is
also good, since he is able to send back to you most of the shots you
throw at him, the best way of scoring is by having Tsubasa or Hyuga right
in front of him and then sending a strong shot (Tsubasa's Drive Shot
included). If you can't win, it's level up time once more...

				Japan vs USA
You just need to be careful about Mihael (no.11) and their no.10 (his
normal shots can even score to Wakashimazu), apart from that this isn't a
very difficult match. Also, be quite careful since their no.10 is able do
dribble lots of your players during a special scene you may get to see.

				Japan vs Italy
This is going to be an easy match, since Stratto won't have his special
shots in here. As you may know this team has an excellent GK called Gino
Hernandez, only Tsubasa or Hyuga have chances of scoring against him, so
use them for that task. All the rest of the team must defend from the
opponent's attacks, mainly those of Stratto. If you can't win it is better
to level up, the hard matches are beggining just now...

Now you get Wakabayashi, you may put him into play or you may leave
Wakashimazu, personally I prefer Wakabayashi.

				Japan vs Holland
This is a tough match although the opponent team doesn't have the any
special shots, try having your GK punching away the ball most of the
times since they are pretty good, mainly those of Fanberg (no.9). As for
scoring, Tsubasa, Misaki and Hyuga must be the main strikers.

				Japan vs Brazil
This could be one of the toughest matches, fortunately there is a trick
that can make it quite simple for you... Remember the legend about
Wakabayashi, that he never suffered any goal outside the goal area? So,
USE HIM! Have him catch any shot from outside the goal area!!! This way
you can just be focused about striking the opponents' goal, and you will
surely have more chances of scoring. Try striking mainly with Tsubasa,
Hyuga and Misaki since they are the best striker you have by now, but you
must still be kinda careful with the opponent's shots since they may enter
the goal area and put your excellent GK into trouble.

				Japan vs Germany
If you follow this walkthrough carefully, this is going to be your last
match... You may have noticed that the "rain" event is random in every
game, but in this one it will always rain in the first part of the match,
giving a certain player (their no.7, called Furaihaito) the chance of
using his impressive Water Shot (which can only be used while it rains!
^_^' ). You must be really careful with Schneider (no.11) since not even
Wakabayashi may be able to catch his Neofire Shot (well, he has around 50%
of chances of scoring from outside the goal area). Apart from this, be
also very careful about the player that has the Water Shot. The main
strategy in this match must be: put Misugi and Wakabayashi into play, use
Tsubasa, Misugi and Hyuga (this one must ONLY be used for striking,
NOTHING ELSE) for scoring and all the others to try to take the ball from
the opponent players. If you really can't win, just keep on levelling up
and trying, eventually you will win.

Hum, and if anyone is wondering about that as the see (AGAIN!) the ending,
the shirt that Tsubasa is using is the one of the Italy team Roma.

Sorry about most of the names aren't translated at all but I made the
best I could. There are still some empty spaces for other characters,
and I will update it as soon as I get them in the list.

4.~ Counter Shot

Sometimes you may see Tsubasa (I only saw it with Tsubasa but maybe you
can do it with other players) countering the opponent special shots, just
like he did with Hyuga's Tiger Shot in the anime/manga. So, you ask, how
can you perform this great shot? Easy, put Tsubasa marking a player who
has any special shot (I made this with Artur Coimbra, in the brazillian
team) and when they are confronted (just one on one, no other player on
your team may be there) you must pick a certain option (I don't recall
what it was, sorry, I'll check it later) and you'll see Tsubasa countering
the shot, which will be able to score to those great GK's even from a
really large distance.

6. Questions

Question: What happens if you win against Milan?
Answer: I'm not sure, I think you go for another path but if you followed
my walkthrough you already got that path before.

Question: Who is Kazu?
Answer: A real japanese player, whose name is Kazuyoshi Miura, and he was
really famous at the time in which this game was produced.

Question: What do I get for finishing the game 4 times with the different
story paths?
Answer: You get more players for Vs. Mode, as well as more shots for those
players and MANY special techniques for Kazu, making him one of the best
players to use in that mode.

Question: Who is the player in red suit which he see in the intro movie?
How can we play against him?
Answer: He is Kazu, and you don't get to play against him in the story
mode.

Question: What's so special about Fanberg? He just has an overhead shot!
Answer: For some odd reason, all of his shots cost the same as a normal
shot but they are specials.

Question: Some GK's are not in my VS List, and I already finished the game
with everything you said! What's wrong?
Answer: That appears to be a glitch in the game or something, sometimes
some of the GK's disappear and stuff like that...
