Soon, you'll see some platforms. There, get on them and jump-kick the two enemies on top of it. Continue right and kill another guy, then go up the ledges to the right to beat a man on top of a tank. Continue to the right and beat one more guy, then super-jump (Up + 1) to the platform above. Get onto the next ledge and defeat the next guy, then go further right. Opt to stay on the ground rather than get on the platform, and you'll be ambushed by a number of enemies. Jump-kick them, then, when they are gone, super-jump to the platform above. Go right a ledge and defeat the enemy there, then go right to the boxes. You will be ambushed again. Defeat them with jump-kicks and continue right for a bit. You'll defeat an enemy or two along the way, and soon reach a depressed area, where you'll be ambushed from the left. Again, jump-kick 'em and go on. Super-jump to the platform above. Head onto the ledges to the right and head right as far as possible, defeating three enemies on the way. At the end is a thing that looks almost like a false panel or something to a lower area. Press Down + 1 to get down there, then go right and super-jump to the next platform. Defeat the nearby enemy, then continue right to the next level. ------------------------ The Steamer: Section Two ------------------------ Go right for a bit. When you hit the wall, an enemy will come through a door above. Defeat him then super-jump onto that ledge above, then go right some more and repeat it again - defeat enemy, super-jump. Also low-kick (Down + 2) the leaky can to find a health pickup you can use with a low-kick. Head right and down the stairs, defeating or avoiding the buffy enemy on the way. At the bottom, it is safer to just use Down + 1 to go below the ledge rather than fight. Go right and a dude will come by, then further right, another will come from a door. Even further right, it'll happen again. Further right, you'll find a pickup on the ground - low-kick it and defeat the nearby enemy. Go right some more to have some guy fall from above to try and attack you; defeat him and move right to the boxes. There, you'll be ambushed by several bad guys. Jump-kick them all! Not too much further to the right is another health pickup; low-kick it, then go right and up the ledges. Defeat two enemies and then another further to the right. Go back left and super-jump to the ledge above, where you'll have a few more enemies to beat. Continue to the right for a bit and you'll end up opening a few doors. Multiple enemies will come out of them, so, as per the usual, jump-kick them. Use Down + 1 to go down to the lower level if needed. If you do so, though, be sure to return to the upper level. Proceed right, defeat the enemy, and you'll find the exit past there. -------------------------- The Steamer: Section Three -------------------------- Go to the right and, beneath the platforms, you'll be ambushed as is usual. Also like usual, kick-jump -- I mean jump-kick the enemies that fall from above. Continue to the right afterwards and get onto the upper ledge with a super-jump to find an enemy and a health pickup. Further right, you'll find a similar idea but with a ying-yang symbol - it seemed to heal me, though. Continue right and defeat the two guys that fall from above, then continue right to the boxes. Yup, you guessed it, another ambush. You've dealt with this several times before, so it shouldn't be too worrying by now - you know how to jump-kick. Continue to the right afterwards and, benath a set of platforms, you'll be ambushed yet again. Get under the center platform and punch (Right/Left + 2) anyone that gets near you. Afterwards, go to the right some more on the ground to meet a larger, stronger enemy. This enemy can be easily dealt with repeated punches, actually, so he's nothing too much to worry about. ------------------------- The Icehouse: Section One ------------------------- Begin by going to the right. As you do, take note of the white, spinning circles on the ground. Those are buzzsaws, and they will hurt you. You do not want to land on them, but the enemy will often die instantly on them. >:) Jump to the platform above the saws and go to the right. Defeat the enemy that falls, then head to the next ledge to the right. Defeat the enemy near the edge, then continue to the right. As you do, defeat the enemy that emerges from the ice, then the one further right that falls from above. You'll soon find a platform. Go onto it to pick up the point-boosting pickup and to defeat a few nearby enemies that ambush you. You know the deal - jumping kicks. Afterwards, go right, then over the saws. Punch the enemy that falls onto the saws, then low-kick the nearby heart for some health restoration. Continue to the right and defeat the enemy emerging from the ice, then continue to the next ledge. Defeat the shrike-throwing enemy there, then continue right to the next ledge where you'll find another enemy to shove into the buzzsaws. Continue right to have an enemy fall behind you; defeat him and progress onto the platform ahead. Defeat the nearby enemies, most of whom will ambush you. After the battle, go right some more. As you pass the set of ice blocks, another enemy will come from within the ice to strike at you. Defeat him, then low-kick the nearby lantern for bonus points. Continue right and over the gaps between the saws' pits - kick the flaming bowl on the way for bonus points. On the next ledge, you'll fight someone, and then, further right, another enemy will come from within the ice blocks. Defeat him as usual, then go right. Ascend the ledges (Up + 1), then go right and down the next ledge (Down + 1). You may want to defeat the nearby enemies first, though. After going down, head right for a bit. You'll soon fight a final enemy, then you'll see a large buzzsaw overhead. After beating said enemy, go to the ledge above and jump over the buzzsaw to continue onto the next level. ------------------------- The Icehouse: Section Two ------------------------- Here, proceed to the right and up a few ledges. Some guy will emerge from some more ice again. Defeat him. It is not in your interest to risk health over grabbing the health pickup further right and up, so just go down the nearby ledge. As you proceed to the right, you'll find yourself tailed by an enemy. Ignore him for now - he'll be forced into retreat or suicide, so he's of no concern to us. >:) Go right and super-jump to the ledge above just after the shrike that is thrown passes above your head. Go right and past the buzzsaw if it is there - sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Either way, you're going to go to the next platform above the buzzsaw pit. Continue along two more ledges. On this third ledge, an enemy will come from within the ice. Punch - don't jump-kick - him into the buzzsaws. Jump right onto the next ledge. There, get under the platform above, then duck. When the path seems clear of a buzzsaw - yes, one does run along there - super-jump up there when you are unlikely to be hit by the shrike. Go right and over the buzzsaw, then drop off the other side. Punch the nearby shrike-thrower into the buzzsaws, then continue to the right into the large, "safe" depression. Defeat the enemy there, then, when safe, super-jump to the platform above. Feel free to then punch the shrike-thrower to death, but he is now no longer a threat to you. Continue to the right and, underneath or on the next platform, you'll run into another ambush. Here, you may want to try making use of the bubbly ice block on the platform - get it between you and the enemies, then low-kick towards them. Of course, just plain ol' jump-kicking still works. Afterwards, continue right. Low-kick the fire bowel for some points and go further right on ground level. You'll soon be ambushed again; use the usual jump-kicks or try kicking the above ice block as I mentions. Continue right after the fight and another enemy will emerge from the ice. Defeat him, then continue right to finish the level. --------------------------- The Icehouse: Section Three --------------------------- Go to the right as you enter the level and up a ledge. Defeat the nearby enemy and continue to the right and up another ledge. Jump over the buzzsaw pit and super-jump to the ledge above to find a lantern. Low-kick it for some bonus points, then jump across the gap to the next platform. Here, you'll be ambushed again. A useful strategy is to just plain ol' punch your opponents. The use of jump-kicks may end up sending you into the buzzsaws, making such very risky. However, punches are relatively stable, and can still shove the enemies into the buzzsaws. After the battle is over, jump to the next ledge to the right. You'll arrive at a familiar situation. Duck beneath the thrown shrikes until the path above is clear of the buzzsaw, then super-jump up there. Go to the right and jump across the gap. Further right, you'll run into another ambush. This time, you'll mostly just rely on your jump-kicking skills. After this, go to the right. You'll see a red orb on the ground. Low-kick it for some bonus points, then continue to the right some more. You'll encounter the boss for the level. ... Well, as much of one as you can get, I guess. All you need to do is repeatedly punch him and you'll be fine, especially once you get him trapped against the edge of the screen. ----------------------------- Victoria Harbour: Section One ----------------------------- Head to the right and jump across the spike pit - much like the buzzsaws of prior levels, spikes also can hurt you. Obviously. Once across, super-jump to the above ledge and proceed right for a bit. You'll run into an enemy ambush - kick the leaky can nearby to the left when enemies are near for an easy finish. Continue right afterwards and jump to the lower level for a point-boosting pickup. Jump to the right, over the gap, to fight another enemy - you may also want to consider returning to the upper ledge and jumping past the enemy so you can punch him into the spike pit nearby. Continue to the right and jump on the package ledges. Continue and you'll be attacked by a few assailants - punch them repeatedly so we can continue onward. Further right, past a spike pit, you will notice an enemy coming up behind you. Ignore him - odds are, he'll run straight into the spike pit. -_- Great programming there. When you hit the next ledge, you'll run into another ambush. Head to the upper ledge to fend the enemies off, first using the leaky can. Alternatively, after the leaky can, you can try to put the enemies between you and spike pits to hit them in there, making Swiss cheese out of them. *drools* Not a lot to this one, though - mostly just punch. After the battle, continue right and past the gap. You'll soon be attacked from behind - punch the lights out of this assailant and continue onward. Super-jump onto the next ledge above to low-kick a health pickup, then continue right. An enemy will soon break through a window above to strike at you. Defeat him and move on. As you proceed rightward on the next ledge, keep an eye on the lower portion. There should be a lantern down there you can low-kick for bonus points. Return to the upper level and go right *only* when the path is clear of diagonally- thrown knives. As you pass by this man from above, feel free to go down and punch him into the spikes for his misdeeds. >:) As you inch ever-further to the right on the upper level, you'll soon be attacked by an enemy falling from above. Try to stay on the right side - as such, just punch them. After that, go right and you'll see another enemy throwing knives around - jump down to him, punch him, and continue on the upper level to the right. Repeat this with the next knife-throwing enemy. Continue to the right. As you reach the stone ledge, you'll be ambushed by a few more enemies. It would be best to take either the extreme right or extreme lower-left areas and attack enemies with punches from there - jump-kicks are liable to get you into the spike pit, or miss the enemy and THEN get hit into the pit. After the battle, head to the right and, past the gap, you can go either along a high or low road. Go along the high path to the fire pot, low-kick it for points, then defeat the enemy "sneaking" up behind you. Then backtrack to the low road and go along it, kicking the orb on the way for more points. Continue right and you'll soon be ambushed by an enemy from behind and another from above. Punch the crap out of them - you'll easily defeat the one behind you before the other gets here - so we can head further right. Then you'll run into another ambush. Stay on the lower level, if you want, and jump-kick your assailants, then continue to the right. Kick the pickup on the ledges, then head right to the next level. ----------------------------- Victoria Harbour: Section Two ----------------------------- Here, go right and jump to the next ledge, then repeat when the path is clear of flying knives. On this ledge, jump right to get the enemy nearer the spike pit, then punch him in there. Jump down to the enemy below you and punch him, too, into the spike pit. We don't want them to be lonely, after all. Return to the upper level and head right. As you pass beneath a stone platform, you'll run into an ambush. Jump-kicking is inconvenient due to the low-lying platform, so mostly try to stay near the edges or in the center and punch the enemies. Afterwards, jump to the right across the gap. Defeat the enemy that arises from behind the boxes, preferably with a punch into the spike pit, then low-kick the bell to the right for some more points. Continue to the right and, here, super-jump to the above ledge when the path is clear of both knives and enemies, then go to the far left. Defeat the enemy if he is there, then ascend to the above ledge with a super-jump, then jump to the right, across the gap, to the other side. Go right and defeat the enemy arising from the ground, then continue to the right for a bit. Go along the high road for now and to the right. You'll deal with a few enemies pretty soon, though they can easily finished with jump-kicks from up here. Continue right to battle some more - you may want to think of jumping to that lower ledge to lure them down there and punch them into the spike pits. You can also kick the leaky can above. After the battle, head right some more and defeat the enemy, then go down the ledge and defeat the next enemy. Continue to the bottom when the path is clear of flying knives and proceed to the right rather quickly. You'll need to duck every few seconds to dodge knives; also try to duck-kick/low-kick the pacing enemy nearby. Continue to the right and, at the platform area, you'll be ambushed. Quickly head to the upper ledge and jump-kick everyone; if it gets a little crowded, head down to the lower level and continue jump-kicking. After the battle, continue to the right, and you'll soon deal with another few enemies. Jump-kick 'em and continue onward. Past the ledge, on the ground, you will see a white pickup - low-kick it to obtain some more points, then go right some more. Defeat the enemy assaulting you on the ground - kicking the leaky can nearby often works, then defeat the enemy above you. On the upper level, go right to the ying-yang symbol and kick it for a full health recovery. Defeat the enemies nearby that will ambush you with jump-kick attacks. Further right is the exit to the next level. ------------------------------- Victoria Harbour: Section Three ------------------------------- As you enter this level, proceed to the right. Soon, you'll run into an ambush from some enemies. Jump-kick them around on the lower level, or punch them off from the upper level, until they're gone. Continue to the right for a bit to be ambushed by an enemy from behind as you cross the packages. Low-kick the nearby bell for bonus points and continue to the right. As you pass under the next platform, you'll reach another ambush. Take care of it much like you did the previous one. Continue to the right afterwards and head onto the next upper ledge with a super-jump. Low-kick the nearby lantern, then proceed right to the stone platform and take care of the enemy tailing you, preferably with jump-kicks. Not much further right, you'll meet an ambush. This is *slightly* easier on the lower level, so head down there and jump-kick the enemies as they come at you. Afterwards, proceed to the right for a bit. Low-kick the ying-yang symbol as you go for a health refill before the boss. This boss can be handled somewhat similarly to the others - get the boss in a corner, punch repeatedly, and a winner is you. Most of the time, you will be doing that. At times, however, she will jump over you and you'll need to recorner her. Beyond that, so long as you keep her stunned with your attacks, you should be okay. After the fight, go right to proceed to the final set of stages. -------------------------- The Graveyard: Section One -------------------------- Upon arriving, head to the right. You'll soon be ambushed by a trio of adversaries - jump-kick 'em around to beat them so we can proceed. Head to the right and defeat the enemy on the ledge, then super-jump to the purple ledge above him. Jump right across the gap and defeat the enemy on the other side. Jump down from the platform here when the path is clear of thrown weaponry, then quickly low-kick the nearby enemy and proceed to the right. Defeat the enemy that tails you as you pass the gravestone, then proceed to the right some more. You'll be ambushed by enemies coming from the doors here. Jump onto the ledge above and punch them off as they come on. Continue to the right. Super-jump onto the ledge above and proceed to the right, defeating the enemy coming from the door on your way. You'll then meet up with a health pickup - kick it. Continue to the right and defeat the next enemy tailing you, then proceed further right to work yourself into another ambush. Here, it is best to get at the edge of the screen and do low-kicks at approaching enemies. Afterwards, go right and take the ying-yang full-health-restoration pickup from the ground, then defeat the enemy on the nearby ledge. It's quite easy if you punch him repeatedly to the lower level. Proceed further right and enemies will ambush you from below. Stay on the top area and at the screen's edge and just use low-kicks, like before. After the fight, continue right and get the spinning pickup. Get on the next ledge and defeat the knife-throwing enemy with a kick, then continue to the next level. -------------------------- The Graveyard: Section Two -------------------------- Go to the right and jump over the fire. Punch the nearby enemy into the fire - again, this fire functions like the spikes and buzzsaws of earlier levels, which is an instant kill for enemies (more or less), and extreme pain for you. Afterwards, continue to the right to be ambushed. Here, you may want to stick to one side and just punch enemies as they come into the fire. Mmm... Smells delicious. >:) Afterwards, proceed to the right and take out the enemy that'll jump from behind a gravestone as you pass them. Continue to the right and stick to the ground. Go right and defeat the enemy emerging from the first door, then kick the nearby orb for some bonus points. Further right, you'll get into an ambush. Super-jump to the upper level, then stick next to the large flaming bowl - when several enemies are on your level, kick it at them, then jump-kick the remaining enemies. After the battle, continue to the right along the lower level to quickly reach a ying-yang symbol. Low-kick for a full health restoration then, when the path above is clear of flying weaponry, super-jump up there and low-kick the offender to defeat him. Go right and then defeat the two enemies jumping from behind the gravestones. After this, continue to the right. Defeat the enemy on the upper ledge and head right across the fire pits. The enemy trailing you will likely just fall into the flames; duck for the other dude's weapons, then punch him into the fire when possible. After crossing, on the other side, defeat the enemy there by - you guessed it - punching him into the fire. Then low-kick the nearby bell for some bonus points and head into the depression nearby. You'll be ambushed by some enemies here - you'll probably survive best if you cower at the lower-right/lower-left portion of the screen and low-kick them as they come. At least, that's what I've been doing, and it's worked. After the battle, go right and defeat the enemy in front of the second gravestone, then go right a bit and defeat the enemy that'll jump from behind the first one. Then just head right to the next level. ---------------------------- The Graveyard: Section Three ---------------------------- Ready for the final level? Proceed to the right and, actually, ignore the health pickup nearby - you obviously have full health. However, remember it for later in case you get damaged in the following battle. Proceed to the right and defeat the man on the ledge, then jump across the next gap to reach the front of the next white building. Here, you'll be ambushed yet again. As enemies approach and proliferate the top level, feel free to use the fiery pot as a weapon. Beyond that, though, I just cowered on the left edge of the area and low-kicked everyone. Otherwise, go to the right and jump across the gap. Get the ying-yang pickup to fully heal yourself, then defeat the enemy nearby. Don't use the fire pot in this effort, however. Not much further right, you'll be ambushed in a similar manner as before. Handle it in a similar manner. After the battle, on the top level, proceed right and low-kick the next ying-yang symbol for another full healing. Continue to the right and ignore the fire pot as you go. You'll have another ambush not much further ahead and it remains similar to the previous two, and is dealt with similarly as well. =/ After that street brawl, go right, then hit the ground and head further right. As you leap over the pit of fire, you'll be ambushed once again. This one is more easily handled by sticking to the edge of the area and, from there, just punching enemies, which often lands them in the fire. After this, go to the right and low-kick the nearby health pickup, which you are probably needing quite direly. To the right, however, is your final boss of the game. This boss is actually a relative challenge ... the key word being "relative". It's still pretty easy, but harder than the other bosses. There are six white rectangles in this area from which the boss can appear. During his appearance, the boss may or may not launch a projectile at you. Wait to see if he does, then dodge it if necessary and proceed to him. He won't seem to attack you beyond that one attack - at least, not in my experience - and will be open for punching. Then he'll disappear and this will repeat. This boss does have much, much more health than any other, and it will take you about four-to-six minutes to win. However, if you can just dodge that projectile attack (i.e. move a little to the right or left), then you should be fine. Afterwards, proceed right and you'll finish the level.
