1. Menu (0000)

This is the menu for the game. You can choose between the following modes at
first.

The Mugenjo
Heroes Mode
VS CPU
Wireless Mode
Ninja Road
Naruto's House
Options

Before you start doing any playing, I advise you to take a look at the options,
and change the voices to Japanese. It's a personal preference to me, but you
can do whatever.

2. The Mugenjo (1000)

Here it is, the meat of the game. In this mode, you play as Naruto and his
friends as they explore a 100 floor tower in hopes of saving their village.
There's a gimmick to this tower, though. Each room is unstable, so you have to
summon scrolls and make a room in order to continue. You have an 4 scrolls to
choose from, and you can see what the next scroll will be. There are rooms like
Treasure rooms, which contain items, and Healing rooms, which allow you to
change your 3 party members and leader. The most important room is the Drama
Room, because that means you get to further the plot. The unstable spaces can
be made into the following rooms. As you clear each room, you'll get Ninja
Points based on where you are in the tower. Press Triangle to open the Game
Menu. You can see your status, items, and skills. You can also save, and quit
the mode.

Battle Room: You hafta battle "ghosts" that the tower creates. You can choose
from your leader and your party members. Sometimes, the battles will have the
CPU in a heightened state, such as ATK up or SPD UP. If you lose, then the next
guy takes over. After each battle, you'll recover a small amout of health and
chakra.
Bonuses: If you win with a jutsu or your secret technique, then you get a
bonus based on where you are in the tower.

Tree Climbing Room: You are Naruto, and you are attempting to climb this 300
metre high tree that summoned randomly in less than a minute. Use left and
right to dodge the trunks as they stick out of the tree. Run over the Jonin
Shoes to gain a speed boost. You get ranked on how fast you complete it. A
rank is above 15 seconds left, B rank is 10 to 15 seconds left, C rank is less
than 10 seconds left and F rank is not even finishing in time.
Bonuses: If you finish with more than 15 seconds, you get 1 point per second
above 15.

Shadow Posession Room: You are Naruto, as always, and Shikamaru has you in his
Shadow Possession Jutsu. He will do a series of actions, and a button will show
up on the bottom of the screen. The difficulty depends on your location in the
tower. The actions will disappear, and you have a limited amout of time to
press the buttons in the right order. Doing it right will net you some points,
as well as a rank. A rank is for all right, B rankis for one wrong, C rank is
for 2 wrong, and F rank is none right.
Bonuses: Are there bonuses? I'm not sure.

Amusement Room: In the Amusement room, there is a slot machine. You have 9
tickets, and one ticket will spin the slots once. Once you've had your fill,
you can cash out by pressing X. You can give your tickets at a rate of 10
tickets per amout of points based on your location.
Bonuses: Don't think so.

Riddle Room: In the Riddle room, Iruka will ask you three questions about
Naruto. That's basically it. You get ranked on your answers. All right=A rank.
2 right=B rank. 1 right=C rank. 0 right=F rank. As always, your points are
based on your location.
Bonuses: Nope.

Clone Room: In the Clone room, Ebisu will split into 3 clones. Then, the real
Ebisu will be pointed out. After that, the Ebisus start switching around. Keep
your eye on the real one, and pick it. Repeat twice more. Again, your points
are based on your location. All 3= A, 2= B, 1=C and 0=F.
Bonuses: No.

As you explore the castle you'll find Treasure rooms. Treasure rooms give you
items, and they are classified into 4 categories, RCVR, which are recovery
items, GWTH, which are items that boost your stats, VALU, which are items
needed to continue on, and BTLE, which are items used in battle, like 1000
Shadow Shurikens. To use the items, just pause in battle and go to Stock Items.
You'll have 4 slots to equip.

If you don't want to waste time, some floors have short cuts. These shortcuts
are made accessible by your skills. Here's a list of the characters and their
skills. For the obstacles and hidden paths, you must be in front of them for
the skill to work.

1. Naruto - Rasengan: 1 use: Breaks an obstacle
2. Sasuke - Chidori: 1 use: Breaks an obstacle
3. Sakura - Medical Ninjutsu: 3 uses: Heals a character slightly
4. Lee - One's Own Rule: 1 use: Changes next scroll to the one you want
5. Neji - Byakugan: 1 use: Finds a hidden path
6. Tenten - Summon Medicine: 1 use: Heals a character Fully
7. Shikamaru - Shadow Possession Jutsu: 1 use: Copies a scroll over another
8. Choji - Human Boulder: 1 use: Breaks an obstacle
9. Ino - Mind Transfer Jutsu: 1 use: Changes all scrolls to different ones
10. Kiba - Tunneling Fang: 1 use: Breaks an obstacle
11. Shino - Parasitic Insects Jutsu: 1 use: Finds a hidden path
12. Hinata - Byakugan: 1 use: Finds a hidden path
13. Gaara - Sand Tsunami: 1 use: Changes all scrolls to different ones
14. Kakashi - Sharingan: 1 use: Copies a scroll over another
15. Guy - One's Own Rule: 1 use: Changes next scroll to the one you want
16. Jiraiya - Transparency Jutsu: 2 uses: Finds a hidden path
17. The Third Hokage - Crystal Ball Jutsu: 2 uses: Finds a hidden path

That's basically it for Mugenjo.

3. Hidden Mugenjo (2000)

Hidden Mugenjo is basically the same thing as Mugenjo, except the main
character is Jiraiya. There are 30 floors this time, and you can't do the
Tree Climbing room or the Shadow Possession room, as you don't have Naruto or
Shikamaru.

After you complete both modes, at the beginning of each, you will have every
character you don't find in the castle, like Itachi. You will also start off
with your powered up version.

4. Heroes Mode (3000)

Heroes mode is back again, from the first Ultimate Ninja Heroes. Here, you can
make your team of up to 3 people and fight consecutive battles. If you only
have 2 people on your team, you also get 2 times the points at the end. If you
only have 1 person, then you get 4 times the points. Easy has 5 battles, Normal
has 6, Hard has 7 and Insane has 8. Every opposing team you fight will have
some sort of powerup. After each fight in the match, the character that won
will gain some health. At the end of the whole match, the whole team recovers
some health and chakra. Your characters will also have some skills of their
own, and if you have a special team, you will have a team skill. Passive skills
require no activation, and are always active. Here's a list of the characters
and their skills.

1. Naruto - Sexy Jutsu: 2 uses: Lowers an opponent's ATK
2. Sasuke - Chidori: 1 use: Lowers an opponent's health by 33%
3. Sakura - Chakra Recovery: 3 uses: Recover a person's chakra by 33%
4. Lee - Leaf Hurricane: 1 use: Lowers an opponent's HP by 33%
5. Neji - 8 Trigrams 64 Palms: 1 use: Seals an opponent's chakra
6. Tenten - Summon Medicine: 3 uses: Recover a person's HP by 33%
7. Shikamaru - Shadow Possession Jutsu: 2 uses: Lowers an opponent's DEF
8. Choji - Potato Chips: 1 use: Recover Choji's HP fully
9. Ino - Ninja Wolfsbane: 2 uses: Poison an opponent
10. Kiba - Fang Over Fang: 1 use: Lowers an opponent's HP by 33%
11. Shino - Parasitic Insects Jutsu: 1 use: Lowers an opponent's SPD
12. Hinata - Medicine: 1 use: Recover all teammates HP by 33%

5. VS CPU (4000)

In this mode you can fight against the CPU. The difficulty of the CPU is the
difficulty in the Options Menu.Triangle is to randomly select, and you can
press Circle to stop it. Press R to change the costume colour. The current
colour is shown by the number under the 1P or CPU. Press Square to open the
battle settings. Here you can set time, item appearance, chakra settings and
give a handicap. More red marks mean your attacks do more damage, and the CPU
does less damage to you. Here are the possible stages.

6. Wireless Mode (5000)

In this mode you can hook up with another friend via Ad-Hoc. If they don't
have the game, you can choose Game-Sharing.

7. Ninja Road (6000)

This is a list of the Ninja Point awards you get everytime you walk 10 metres
on the Ninja Road. For every 100 points, Naruto will walk 10 metres, and get
you one unlockable. For every 1000 points, Pakkun will give you an option of
3 scrolls, each with a random amount of Ninja Points.

There are 127 things to unlock, so you need 12700 points to complete it. Here's

9. Options (8000)

In this menu you can control the difficulty of the CPU in VS CPU. You can also
change the controls into whatever you prefer. You can change the sound
settings. The most useful feature for me is the option to change the voices
into their original Japanese ones.

10. Characters (9000)
