Ropes are tossed down from the top of the tower, and three camouflaged men clamber down the lines. Elsewhere, a dinner party on the Palace of Westminster's terrace is in full swing. A couple of helicopters and a grey car speed in the direction of the party. A guard monitors the merrymaking. One of the camouflaged men sneaks up behind him and drags the guard away. Another masked man gives a signal to his companions. The car arrives at the party and James Bond gets out. He saunters up to the bartender.] BARTENDER: May I help you? BOND: A dry martini. Shaken, not stirred. BARTENDER: Certainly, Commander Bond. BOND: Where is the girl? BARTENDER: Elizabeth Stark, the Prime Minister's youngest daughter. We received word half an hour ago there might be another kidnapping attempt. BOND: She doesn't appear concerned. BARTENDER: Why should she be, with 007 here to protect her? [One of the helicopters opens up its torpedo bay. A missile with the symbol of an octopus is launched at the social gathering. The resulting explosion and the camouflaged men opening fire leads to chaos. Bond takes out his gun as Stark is kidnapped by one of the men. Bond shoots a couple of the invaders.] KIDNAPPER: Too bad. The game is over, Mister Bond. BOND: I think it's just begun. Level [Bond moves through the panicking partygoers and enters a courtyard. He sees Stark up ahead, being dragged into a building.] STARK: Let go of me! KIDNAPPER: Quiet! Shut up! [Stark's screams are cut off as the door they go through closes. Bond enters the building through a nearby door.] GUARD: Sir, they're heading to the roof! [Bond comes to a damaged ballroom, where guards and enemies trade shots.] GUARD: Move, move, move! [Bond goes up two floors, and jumps across chandeliers. He goes through an unlocked door where he finds Stark struggling to free herself from her kidnapper.] STARK: My daddy is a very powerful man, you know. You can't just go around doing this! KIDNAPPER: Shut up! [The kidnapper starts up his jetpack, and they crash through the skylight and into the night. Bond goes through a door and finds a employee hiding herself.] BOND: How do I get to the roof? EMPLOYEE: You'll need this pass key. [Bond finds the door that corresponds to the pass key. He walks onto the rooftop as men with jetpacks fly around and a helicopter with a yelling Stark buzzes by.] STARK: Somebody help me! [Bond walks behind a man about to put on his jetpack. Bond knocks him and appropriates the jetpack. He flies up to the clock and picks off the men hanging off Big Ben. Then he turns his sights on the helicopter and blasts away at it.] Outro [As the helicopter starts to explode, Bond flies through it and grabs Stark. The helicopter blows up as Bond and Stark escape just in time.] STARK: Who are you...? BOND: The name is Bond. James Bond. [Bond and Stark soar into the night sky.] ============================================================================== 2 - Hedgemaze (HDGM) Intro [Night. A mansion is separated by a large maze of hedges. Bond listens to an earpiece, as a male voice gives instructions to him.] VOICE: This is an infiltration mission. Retrieve the documents hidden within the mansion at the far end of the hedgemaze. Be careful. We believe you may have picked up a shadow. Level [Bond penetrates the maze which is crawling with guards. Occasionally, as he goes through a gate, a man with blonde hair scrutinizes him. The man chuckles and walks away. Eventually, Bond reaches the mansion. He's about to open the front door when the blonde haired man strangles him with a wire. Spotlights on the mansion turn on. Rosa Klebb walks up to Bond's corpse.] KLEBB: Record time, Mr. Grant. You are indeed the killer I'm looking for. GRANT: When do I get to kill the real James Bond? KLEBB: After he steals from the Russians their new Lektor decoding machine. [She gives Grant a folder.] GRANT: And Bond is going to do it for us? KLEBB: We assume that's who MI-6 will send. There is a girl in the Russian consulate in Istanbul, Tatiana Romanova, who I've ordered to help. [Grant examines a photo of Romanova from the folder.] KLEBB: She believes I am still with KGB. GRANT: But won't MI-6 suspect it's a trap? KLEBB: My reading of the British mentality is that they always see a trap as a challenge and then, you can avenge the death of our Dr. No. Let Bond's death be a particularly unpleasant and humiliating one. [Grant peels off Bond's face like it was a mask, revealing another man. Klebb and Grant walk away.] GRANT: I look forward to it. [Grant tosses away the Bond mask. At MI-6, Bond tosses his hat perfectly onto the hat-rack. He turns to Moneypenny.] BOND: And for my next miracle... MONEYPENNY: You're going to need a miracle, James, to explain where you've been all week. BOND: Ah, Moneypenny. Let me tell you the secret of the world... [M cuts in through Moneypenny's speakerphone.] M: You'll have time for that later, 007. Step into my office immediately. [Bond shrugs at Moneypenny and goes into M's office. M has set up a slide projector and cycles through photos corresponding with his briefing.] M: It seems you have an admirer. A woman in Istanbul, Tatiana Romanova, who's fallen quite in love with you. BOND: But I've never even heard of a 'Tatiana Romanova.' M: Of course, girls do fall in love with pictures of film stars... BOND: But not a Russian cypher clerk with a file photo of a British agent. M: Ridiculous, isn't it? BOND: No. It's some sort of trap. M: Precisely. And the bait is a brand-new Lektor. A Soviet decoder machine. BOND: The CIA has been after one of those for years. M: And so have we. When she contacted Kerim Bey, head of Station T in Turkey, she said she wanted to defect and she'd turn over the Lektor to us on one condition: that you went to Istanbul, and brought her and the machine back to England. BOND: The whole thing is so fantastic it just might be true. M: You're booked on the 8:30 flight to Istanbul. Q is waiting for you. You have your orders, 007. Move along. [Bond goes back through Moneypenny's office and into the hallway. Two employees are chatting.] SCIENTIST #1: Did you hear about that chap up at Oxford? SCIENTIST #2: The one who's predicting that one day we'll all have computers -- on our desk tops? And be able to communicate on them? SCIENTIST #1: Ridiculous. SCIENTIST #2: Absurd. [Bond takes an elevator to Q Lab. Q is waiting for him.] Q: Good morning, 007. BOND: Good morning, Q. How've you been? Busy inventing things? Q: Not as busy as you've been, destroying them. Follow me, 007. And try not to break anything. [Bond walks up to a reinforced glass wall. Behind it, a scientist tosses a rope up a long wall.] Q: Pay attention, 007. This is a Rappel Belt, with a grapple and rope that will allow you to scale walls. [The scientist starts to climb up but falls down.] Q: Of course, there are still some kinks to be worked out. [Bond goes to another glass wall. A scientist is controlling a miniature helicopter.] Q: Here's something I'm particularly proud of, 007. This is the Q-copter. Light, agile, television-equipped for surveillance. [The Q-copter detonates.] BOND: Oh, I can see how you might get a rise out of it. Q: Oh, grow up, 007. [Bond enters Q-Lab's training area. Q speaks through the loudspeakers.] Q: Typical terrorist situation, 007. There is a bomb somewhere in the training area. You have to find it, equipped only with your Laser Watch and guns. [Bond hunts for the bomb. He discovers and neutralizes it.] Outro [Q walks up to Bond.] Q: Congratulations, 007. Your training is complete. Now use this device to get yourself to Istanbul. [Q gives Bond a ticket.] BOND: An airline ticket. How ingenious... Q: I expect you to return my equipment -- along with the Lektor device -- in pristine condition. BOND: I'll bring it back... from Russia. With Love. ============================================================================== 3 - Gypsy Camp (GCMP) Intro [It's a sunny day as Bond walks out of the Istanbul airport. Bond's contact notices him.] CONTACT: Can I borrow a match? BOND: Oh, I use a lighter. CONTACT: It's better still. [Bond lights the man's cigarette.] BOND: Until they go wrong. CONTACT: Welcome to Istanbul, Mr. Bond. Your transportation is here, sir. [A car pulls up to Bond and Kerim Bey gets out.] KERIM: James, my friend! How nice to see you! BOND: Kerim Bey. It's been too long. [The two friends shake hands.] BOND: Interesting car. Limited Edition? KERIM: Your man, Q, sent it ahead. Warned me not to touch any of the buttons. BOND: You were wise to take his advice. Otherwise, you might not live to regret it. KERIM: There is no time to dally, James. Continue on to the city. [Bond drives under a bridge, as Grant watches from above. Grant fires a bazooka at a nearby car, which explodes. Bond skids his car to a halt.] BOND: It appears that your 'truce' with the Russians has just ended. KERIM: But I didn't order an attack. BOND: Let's get to the Russian consulate -- before the locals start asking questions we don't have answers for. [Later, Bond and Kerim Bey walk through the dark surveillance room.] KERIM: Welcome to the Russian consulate -- directly above us. [A periscope descends to the two men.] KERIM: A gift from your Royal Navy. BOND: Fantastic. How did you arrange it? KERIM: A cousin in the public works department. Had the building declared unsafe. The Russians moved out, and we moved in. [Bond looks through the periscope.] KERIM: The sound will come up in a moment. Do you see anything? BOND: I see our Lektor. And it seems to be the topic of discussion. Who's the general? KERIM: Krilencu. KGB. He'd be responsible for the attacks against us. [Tatiana Romanova strolls into the periscope's view.] BOND: Mmmm. Things are shaping up nicely. KERIM: Ahhh... the girl. [Sound trickles in.] BOND: Yes. Wait. MAN: Kerim Bey has powerful allies. He's in league with the surrounding gypsies and we simply cannot push him out. KRILENCU: I don't care! Take everything we have and assault their camp! I'll lead them myself! BOND: Something about a camp with gypsies. KERIM: My friends. BOND: Shh. MAN: ...we need it and the Lektor! KRILENCU: Just put it in the vault! We will deal with it later. BOND: They said something about attacking a gypsy camp, and putting the Lektor in a vault. KERIM: I must warn my friends. [Bond and Kerim Bey leave the periscope.] BOND: What about the vault? Do you know where it is? KERIM: No. But they keep the blueprints in the communications room. BOND: You go save your friends. Take the boat. KERIM: And you? BOND: I'll find my own way out after I get those blueprints. [Shortly after, Bond flies into the sky with a jetpack strapped on. Later that night, Bond drives to the gypsy camp's entrance. Kerim Bey greets him.] KERIM: James! I was worried! Did you retrieve the blueprints? BOND: Yes... and I see you've warned your friends. KERIM: Yes. We're ready. But in the meantime, it seems that another crisis has sprung up. Follow me. [They stride into the camp.] KERIM: Two girls in love with the chief's son have threatened to kill each other. They're going to settle it the gypsy way. [The two women wrestle next to the campfire.] BOND: He's a lucky man, the chief's son. [One woman picks up a bottle and is about to strike the other, when the bottle shatters from a gunshot. Bond looks around. A truck with a turret rams through the camp's entrance. Armed fighters invade the camp and commence shooting. Bond kicks a table, and he and Kerim Bey take cover behind it.] BOND: Well, first of all we need to take out that turret. Level [Bond defeats the gunner manning the turret.] KERIM: Krilencu's men have taken hostages in those buildings! BOND: Right. KERIM: Wait! They're using tear gas. You'll need to get a gas mask from the supply wagon! BOND: I'm on my way. [Bond rescues four hostages throughout the camp. He returns to Kerim Bey.] BOND: It seems they're preparing for a final attack. [Krilencu is looking at Bond through the crosshairs of a sniper rifle. Grant shoots Krilencu with his rifle, but not before Krilencu shoots Kerim Bey in the arm.] KERIM: Krilencu's hit! He's running! BOND: But who shot him? KERIM: Let's not question our good fortune. Get his rifle and meet me in the tower. We'll make our final stand there! [Bond goes up to the tower and gets the sniper rifle. He protects Kerim Bey from harm as more men assault the camp.] Outro [Kerim Bey and Bond walk to Bond's car.] KERIM: You fought well, my friend. The gypsy chief wants to make you an honorary son. BOND: Thank him for me -- how's your arm? KERIM: I'll live. BOND: But the problem is -- so did Krilencu. We have to finish him off. He's standing between me and the Lektor. KERIM: Take us back into Istanbul. I know where Krilencu went. BOND: His secret hideout? KERIM: In Istanbul, nothing remains secret for very long. BOND: So I'm learning. [They drive off.] ============================================================================== 4 - Sniper Alley (SNPA) Intro [Klebb is questioning Romanova.] KLEBB: Did you tell anyone at the consulate you were coming here? ROMANOVA: No. Of course not... KLEBB: Good. This mission must remain a secret. ROMANOVA: But what am I to do with the English agent when I meet him? KLEBB: Whatever he asks. [Klebb studies Romanova's face.] KLEBB: You may go. [Romanova departs the room. Grant and a woman, Eva Adara, enter.] KLEBB: Do you have news of the Krilencu situation? GRANT: It's soon to end. Bond is on his trail, Krilencu will not be able to protect the Lektor after tonight. KLEBB: Perfect. [Bond stops his car on a quiet street. He and Kerim Bey get out.] KERIM: Twice has Krilencu tried to kill me. The third time he will succeed... unless we kill him first. BOND: That wound doesn't look good. You'd better leave Krilencu to me. KERIM: I'm already too much in your debt. BOND: How can a friend be in debt? Mmm? KERIM: You are kind, but I have to be the one he sees last. BOND: If you insist. I'll find a sniper point and cover you. Level [Bond travels through alleys and buildings until he finds an acceptable vantage point to cover Kerim Bey. The two men exchange signals and Bond covers Kerim's route. Eventually, Kerim is held hostage by Krilencu behind a poster of the movie "Call Me Bwana." Bond snipes Krilencu.] Outro [Kerim Bey opens up the car's trunk and Bond puts his weapon in there.] KERIM: Once again my friend, I am in debt to you for saving my life. BOND: Don't take it personally, Kerim. It's the Lektor I'm after. KERIM: And you shall have it. My son has arranged your meeting with Tatiana Romanova. BOND: Well in that case, I'd say we're even. [They drive off.] ============================================================================== 5 - Consulate (CNSL) Intro [Bond crosses the threshold of a bedroom with his gun drawn. Clothing is strewn around the room.] ROMANOVA: You look surprised -- my friends call me Tania. [Tatiana Romanova lays in the sizeable bed. Bond approaches her.] BOND: Mine call me James Bond. ROMANOVA: You look just like your photograph. BOND: You look even better than yours. ROMANOVA: Thank you. But I think my mouth is too big. BOND: No, it's the right size. For me, that is. [They kiss.] BOND: Has everything been arranged for tomorrow -- with the Lektor? ROMANOVA: Do we have to talk about that now? BOND: Yes. ROMANOVA: It's in the vault. I'll be waiting for you -- with the lock codes -- at 12:45 in the operations room. BOND: Well, I hope I haven't disappointed you. ROMANOVA: I will tell you, in the morning. [They kiss again. The next day, Bond and Kerim Bey journey to the consulate.] BOND: Let's get to work. I'm going to have a look around inside. And when I talk to the passport clerk, that's your signal to set off the distraction. KERIM: Good luck, James. Level [Bond sets foot in the consulate's lobby and talks to the clerk.] BOND: Is that the correct time? CLERK: Russian clocks are always -- [An explosion rips a door apart and civilians scatter. Bond searches for Romanova, but his progress is prevented by a gas leak. He finds a scientist in an unlocked room.] BOND: How do I turn off the gas? SCIENTIST: The controls are in the room next door! That's all I know! [Bond pilots a Q-copter through an air vent and disables the gas. He finds Romanova pacing in a closet next to the kitchen.] BOND: Nice to see you again, Tania. Let's go -- we have a date for the Lektor. [They go through the kitchen and into an elevator to head to the vault. The elevator shudders on the way down.] ROMANOVA: What happened? This isn't sub-basement sixteen! BOND: They must have taken control of the elevators. [They exit the elevator. Bond fights through barracks and turns off the gas.] BOND: We need to get the elevator moving again. Do you know where the override is? ROMANOVA: In a security room on the ground floor. But we can't get there without the elevator. [They look up at a small air vent. Bond pilots the Q-copter through the vent system and obliterates the override. They backtrack to the elevator and descend to the vault level. Once there, Bond and Romanova must use two consoles simultaneously to open a door.] BOND: Take the other key and we'll open this door. [Bond goes through more rooms and terminates gas leaks and enemies. They unlock another set of doors.] ROMANOVA: We need to get to the vault. [Bond and Romanova see the locked vault door ahead of them.] BOND: There's the vault. Come on. ROMANOVA: They've changed the opening mechanism. I'm not sure what to do. [Bond shoots off the four locks and the vault unseals. The Lektor is inside and Bond grabs it. They turn back to where they came from and escape on the elevator.] Outro [Bond and Romanova dash into a enclosed parking lot. Kerim Bey waits for them next to a car.] KERIM: Here. BOND: We have a train to catch, hopefully before the Russians catch us. [The car pulls away.] ============================================================================== 6 - Train (TRIN) Intro [Bond and Romanova walk to the train they're to board, the Orient Express. Grant hails them, holding a cigarette.] GRANT: Can I borrow a match? BOND: I use a lighter. GRANT: Better still. BOND: Until they go wrong. GRANT: Hello, old man. I'm Captain Nash. M sent me. I've been working undercover in Yugoslavia. [They hear the train whistle.] BOND: Let's go. [Romanova boards the Orient Express. Bond turns to Grant.] BOND: Meet me in the dining car this evening, and you can fill me in on the escape plan. [Bond and Grant climb aboard. In another part of the train, Kerim Bey is unpacking his suitcase. Someone knocks on the closed door.] GRANT: Tickets! Tickets! KERIM: Come in... [Grant slides open the compartment door.] KERIM: Just give me one second. GRANT: Take all the time you'd like. [Grant shoots his pistol. The train continues its journey. Bond joins Grant in the dining car.] GRANT: Sit down, old man. What'll you have? [Bond turns to the waiter.] BOND: Grilled sole. GRANT: Make it two. And bring us some wine. Red wine. [The waiter leaves and Bond settles onto his chair.] BOND: So tell me about the escape plan. GRANT: The plan, old man, is that you die on the train. [Grant aims his pistol at Bond.] BOND: I should have known. Red wine with fish... KGB? [Grant stares.] BOND: Of course. Octopus. And the girl? Is she in on this? GRANT: She thought she was helping Mother Russia. [Grant gets up.] GRANT: Now stand up. We're going for the Lektor. [Bond vacates his chair.] BOND: Pity to miss a meal... [He smacks Grant in the face with the menu. They grapple with each other, and Grant's pistol lands on an adjacent table. After a struggle, Grant whips out his wire garrote and starts to strangle Bond. Bond flips him over and retrieves Grant's firearm. A hulking brute walks in with a larger gun.] GRANT: Take care of him. [Grant flees.] Level [Bond battles waves of Grant's henchmen. Grant sneaks up behind Bond and whacks him directly on the head with a wine bottle. Bond collapses.] GRANT: There's your white wine, old man. [Romanova walks in the dining car. She's being held hostage by Eva Adara.] ADARA: Let's go! We're pulling into the station. GRANT: Let me finish him off -- ADARA: The KGB are here! We have to leave now! [Adara knocks Romanova out. The train reaches the station and Grant and Adara race off it. Bond awakens.] BOND: Tania, come on! There's no time to lose! [Bond and Romanova survey the train station for danger and the Lektor.] ROMANOVA: What happened? BOND: We were duped. Octopus has been playing us against each other. Stay close. Neither of us has any friends here. I have to get the Lektor back. [Bond progresses through the train station, fending off multiple attacks. Romanova sees Grant and Adara rush upstairs.] ROMANOVA: They're getting away with the Lektor! [Bond and Romanova ultimately make it to the other side of the train station, where they see Grant and Adara absconding to a train made by Octopus.] ROMANOVA: There they are! [Unfortunately, the Octopus train is guarded by automatic turrets which Bond destroys. Bond passes through the train and enters a yard. Grant trains a rifle on Bond, while Adara scampers away with the Lektor.] BOND: So you had me deliver it on a plate. It's brilliant. GRANT: The first bullet won't kill you. Nor the second. Not even the third. Not until you get over here and kiss my foot. BOND: Tell me... which lunatic asylum did they get you out of? [Bond and Grant begin shooting at each other.] Outro [The confrontation concludes when Bond's shots force Grant to drop his rifle. Grant staggers onto the train tracks just as a train comes in. Bond and Romanova embrace. The train passes, and the tracks leave no sign of Grant. Kerim Bey's son unlocks the gate for Bond and Romanova.] SON: Sorry we're late, Mr. Bond. Where's my dad? BOND: I'm sorry. Your father's dead. SON: The Russians? BOND: Octopus. They've got the Lektor. Take the girl to the safehouse. I've got some scores to settle. [Bond drives off.] ============================================================================== 7 - Factory (FCTY) Intro [It's snowing. Bond sneaks up to a factory.] M: Looks like you've tracked Eva to an Octopus smuggling operation. Destroy the installation and put them out of business. [Adara motions to a guard. The guard opens fire on Bond's location. Bond kills the guard. A man wearing a jetpack fires at Bond. Bond returns fire, and the man hurtles to the earth. Bond lifts the jetpack and flies up to a factory window. He blasts it and enters the factory.] Level [Bond works his way through the factory. He shoots people, flips a switch to turn off electricity and plants three bombs.] Outro [Outside, Adara dashes away from the factory, tightly holding the Lektor. Bond is right behind her, but pauses to detonate his bombs. Explosions rock the factory's interior. Bond goes onto the nearby train tracks, and Adara roars by on a motorcycle. Bond shoots a pulley. A hook swings into Adara and knocks her off the motorcycle. Bond commandeers a truck and seizes the Lektor she dropped. Adara gets up and turns on her radio.] ADARA: Base this is Eva! Set the tunnel charges to blow! I don't care who's inside. We have to stop Bond! [The charges go off, but Bond has just crossed the tunnel. The blast propels his truck off the bridge and onto the ice. He resumes driving. Later, Romanova and Kerim Bey's son linger at the safehouse. Bond's truck skids to a halt.] ROMANOVA: James! [Bond gets out. A missile is fired at the truck. Bond grabs Romanova and they tumble to the ground as the truck goes up in a fireball. Bond helps Romanova to her feet.] SON: James, there's a dock nearby! If you can get there, you can get out! BOND: Tania, into the car! [Bond and Romanova get into the car and drive to the dock. Bond helps her into a patrol boat.] BOND: We have plenty of fuel; with luck we should make the border by the morning. Take the wheel. [Bond takes control of a bolted machine gun.] BOND: You didn't expect it to be smooth sailing, did you? [The patrol boat rips through the water.] BOND: Tania! Full speed! Keep her straight! [Bond looks back at their tail. Three boats chase them. Bond bends down.] ROMANOVA: What are you doing? [Bond cuts a line that holds several barrels on the boat. The barrels float into the wake. Bond shoots the barrels and they explode, taking Bond's pursuers with them. Bond and Romanova look at each other.] ============================================================================== 8 - Octopus Base (OTBS) Intro [Bond and Romanova have docked at a hotel in Venice. Their kiss is interrupted by a phone ringing. Bond picks it up.] BOND: Bond. I'll hold. [Romanova moves next to him. There's a knock at the door.] BOND: Oh that should be the bell captain. There's money for a tip on the table. [Romanova collects the money and opens the door.] M: Good morning, 007. M here. [Klebb is on the other side of the door, dressed in a maid's outfit. She hushes Romanova.] BOND: Morning, sir. We're on our way to the airport. It should be routine from here on in. M: Not so fast, 007. It seems another matter has come up with our friends from Octopus. I'll pick you up in a helicopter -- [Klebb draws a gun on Bond.] BOND: Klebb. M: What? What's going on? KLEBB: Your time is up, Mr. Bond. Romanova! Get the door... and the Lektor! [Romanova picks up the Lektor and uses it to thump Klebb. She drops her gun to the floor. Klebb kicks her heels and a spike pokes out of the toe of her shoe. Bond snatches a chair and forces Klebb against the wall. Romanova retrieves Klebb's gun, hesitates and fires. Klebb sinks to the floor, dead.] ROMANOVA: Horrible woman! BOND: Yes. She's had her kicks. [Some time later, Bond wears a parachute above the sea. He glides toward an island.] M: Twenty four hours ago, we received a message from Octopus. They've stolen a nuclear weapon, and are threatening to blow up London unless we pay them a hundred million pounds. BOND: And you've tracked the weapon to here? M: We believe it's the Octopus secret base. BOND: Not anymore. [Bond lands on a concrete ledge. He removes his parachute.] Level [Bond infiltrates the Octopus base. He rides a tram car downward and exits next to the base's control room.] BOND: I've spotted the missile. I'm going in to disable it. Over and out. [Bond discovers a jetpack in another room. He uses it to fly up into a hangar. Eva Adara is sitting in a fighter jet on the other side of the hangar. They fire at each other. Adara recklessly speeds the jet at Bond, but Bond dodges. The jet collides into the wall on the far side and bursts in flames. Afterwards, Bond disarms a warhead and plants a bomb. He heads back to the control room.] LOUDSPEAKER: Evacuate! All personnel evacuate! [Bond takes out his pager.] BOND: Bond to M, I'm on my way out. The missile is disabled, the base is rigged to blow. [Suddenly, steam billows out and an octopus shaped machine lowers in the center of the control room. Grant is behind the controls of the machine.] GRANT: Not so fast, old man. You should have made sure I was dead. BOND: This time I will. [Bond and Grant fire every weapon they have.] GRANT: I have so, so many ways to kill you. Let me show you my favorite. Outro [The machine is overcome by explosions. Grant escapes the disintegrating machine and struggles to sit on the stairs. Bond warily walks up and aims his gun at Grant.] GRANT: You're going to shoot me in cold blood, old man? You don't have the guts. It's not the 'English' way. It's like red wine with fish! [Grant swiftly raises his concealed gun. Bond guns him down instantly.] BOND: That was for Kerim. [Bond drops his gun and walks away. Later, Bond and Romanova snuggle in a bed next to a glowing lamp.] ROMANOVA: James... now that it's over, I hope you don't find me disappointing. BOND: I'll let you know... in the morning. [Bond switches off the lamp and they kiss.] ============================================================================== 9 - Legal (LEGL) From Russia with Love (the game) is developed by Rebellion and EA, and published by Electronic Arts.
