Onimusha: Warlords PS4 Trophy Walkthrought Introduction: This walkthrough will guide you along the game, getting all missable trophies along the way as soon as possible. When starting a new game, make sure to select normal difficulty, since there’s some trophies bound to that difficulty exactly. By the way, sorry for any grammar error you may find, english is not my first language, and sometimes we let something slip by. That said, let’s go!!! Walkthrough: ------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- Nanamagari Region ----------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- The Game begins with a sad letter from Princess Yuki, asking Samanosuke’s help. After the opening intro you’ll find yourself in a forest. Just go forward and beat the guys. Square for sword combo and hold L1 for defense position. If you want to lock on the target, hold R1. After the scene that follows, you’ll be introduced the gauntlet, (given to you by the clan of Ogres, for plotsake). Here you’ll be given the second file (2/32, since the first one was the letter read at the opening cutscene). After this, keep going. Notice the shinning in the small structure, that’s Magic Mirror. Here you can enhance equipment and save your game. Since we’ll try to beat the game without enhance anything, just ignore this function for now. Pass through the gate. Walk the bridge, the you’ll fight more monsters, undead this time. Beat them with sword combo, then press and hold circle to absorb the souls after they are defeated. Doing so will earn you the [Your Soul Is Mine] trophy. Continue through the door, and them another. More demons will show. From now on, you should try to master you combat movies. The game has some “Special Attacks” that you can perform. The simplest is the fast attack from behind, just circle the enemy very fast at the same time it attacks you. Doing so, Samanosuke will be able to do a deadly strike, killing the lesser enemies with one hit. Another way is using the parry. Defend the blow of the enemy by the last second. If it work you will see a fast bright and Samanosuke will finish off the enemy. Just keep trying and you will succeed. Doing so will earn you the [Deadly Strike] Trophy. Finish off the monster, but don’t go see the man yet, instead go back you way you came. Now go to the bridge you just passed through and wait for the flock of geese to show up. Here you will earn the [Fall’s Flight] Trophy! Now, go back, pass through the door, and your new friends will apologize for your behavior. The wounded soldier will mention a two-horned monster that attacked him. Keep going to the forest. ------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- Underground Temple ----------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- You will be ambushed by two more ninja monster. Slay them, grab the “Herb” by the cave entrance and enter the cavern. Go inside the cave, lock on the hole, but don’t jump. Instead, leave the area to where the wounded soldier was and come back. Just take a few steps, and keep absorbing with your gauntlet. A beetle will show up, climbing the wall. [Undying Summer] Trophy will pop. Now, jump down the hole inside the cave. Two more monster will ambush you. Slay and grab the “Underground Temple Map” beside the stairs. Up the stairs. Interact with the dead monk (?) in front of you and choose yes to grab the “Soungen’s Note” file (3/32). Through the door! Kill the demon here and go right of the door. Interact with the small black window in the wall, and you will grab the “Seiryu Vol. 1” file” (4/32). A few steps back, interact with another window that in already open, and grab the “Fluorite” (1/20). Run the rest of the corridor, and enter the next room. Smash the vases here to find a chest at the left. Grab the “Journal #1” file (5/32). Grab the blue orb on the structure to obtain “Shiden” and earn [Lightning Strikes] Trophy. Shiden is the orb you just grab, but that’s not all, it’s came with a new weapon you can use (and should, the game will automatically equip it to you), based on thunder element, called Raizan. The controls are the same, but know you have the special ability from the element of your sword. Just press triangle to use it. It will consume the blue bar below your health. Good news is that if you miss the hit, it will not consume your magic bar ( let’s call like this the blue bar). Keep going left of the structure you got Shiden. By the side of the stairs, you can see a box. It is a Tricky Box (1/6), and you have to struggle to get your prize. Interact with it and you will see three columns of numbers, one at left side, at middle, and at the right side. What you have to do is match the numbers with the numbers that are out of these columns. You can select if you want to move the left side, or right side. That tricky box must be done with three moves, so select the left side first, then right, then left again. You will open it and grab the “Rope Ladder” item. Up the Stairs! Next room is a forest. As soon as you leave, look for the right of Samanosuke. You can see something orange. That’s the tip of a treasure chest. Inside is the “Magic Jewel” (1/5) that counts towards another trophy. *WARNING* don’t use these jewels if you are trying to earn the Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind trophy, since it will void it if you use any jewels! Keep going and you will find the second Magic Mirror of the game. Save here. Beside is a decoder box. Here you need to put the right sequence of possible answers the game gives you. You have eight “words”, but you must choose just three. You can try for yourself, but if you think you are struggling too much, the right answer is, from left to right, first one, then third, then sixth word. That’s the first decoder box (1/4), and second Magic Jewel (2/5). After this interact with the door with blue thing glued in it. Have Shiden equipped for this. Something will happen with the gauntlet, and you’ll be able to open the door. Go Through. Here is a new type of monster that’s really hard to describe. It’s kinda small, have horns in the back and spin to attack you (beside the machete, of course!). Easy enough. They will keep spawn, but will end, so kill they all. Grab the South Area Map in the end of the bridge, by the right and through the door again. By your right will be a wooden gate. It’s locked, ignore it for now. Up the hill by any side and more horned spinners will show, but this time you will have a big guy together. He’s strong, but slow, so keep the finger in the L1 to fast block. Always block first! After Finish, go to the side gate. Here you will find a soldier. Kill all the demons fast. Doing so, you will save the soldier’s life and earn [All in a Day’s Work] Trophy. He will also give you an herb. Remember the Rope Ladder we grab early? Go to the broken part of the wall by your side and examine it. It will say you need the right equipment to descent. Open your item tab menu, select the Rope Ladder and use it here. Now descend. Go the only way possible, and enter the (apparently) fortress. By the right has a wooden create. Smash it and grab the “Medicine” inside the chest. Notice the Magic Mirror when you come? Beside is the second decoder box. Same as the another we find. The answer to that you is, from left to right, sixth word, then first, then fourth (2/4). Inside is another power jewel (2/5), (remember not to use it if you are trying Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind trophy!). Through (one more) door! Uhu! Now the things got interesting. Osric, the first boss of the game. Pretty simple if you know his moves. He has a (really big) club that will swing all over. What you have to do is read its movements. Basically, he used two attacks, one vertical and one horizontal. Horizontal can be defended, but he hits two times, so stay on guard till the second blow. Vertical have two variations. One can’t be blocked and should be evaded. It’s when he get his club up. Just lock on him (holding R1), and when he rise his club, quickly press (but don’t hold) the movement button opposite way Samanosuke is facing. Doing this, the protagonist will dash backwards, getting away from the attack. Vertical attack down-up can be blocked. Using the Shiden special ability will stun him for a few seconds. After beat the ass off the big guy, he will get angry and all red. Then he will rush towards you. Easy to escape, just be at an open area and circle him when he start running. Or just don’t stop running after he gets all red. Keep these things in mind and he will be down in no time. After the fight you will get a lot of souls and [Vengeance] Trophy. Behind him is an opening. Go there and find the chest containing “Journal #2” file (6/32). Behind it has the door you should pass. In the next room, notice the big jars in the corner. Smash them and examine the wall behind it. That’s another “Flourite” (2/20). In the end of the corridor is the door to the next room. Now the things start to get gross ( and terrifying) with the bloody skeleton guy. After the scene, beat the new octopus like demon. He will divide himself sometimes, just beat all the copies and soon he will be gone. After that encounter, examine the red orb in the pedestal. Congrats, that’s Kouen, your newest orb. And comes with the element of fire. This will grant you the [Raging Flames] Trophy! By the way, Enryuu is your new weapon, a heavy sword, it attacks a little bit slower compared with Raizan, but hits harder. You can rotate through your swords with R2. Stay with what suit you better (using the special ability from Kouen, and missing the target, will consume your magic bar. Keep in mind). Go back where you fought Osric fighting the demons on the way. In the boss room, a new demon will appear. An agglomerated of blue skulls flying (which imagination). The Kouen is best here since these demons fly, and you don’t have any bows yet. The third and final attack of its combo has and higher vertical strike that reach more easily the target. Slay everything and interact with the door with red thing on it. You will be back to the Magic Mirror. Save, slay the ninja demons outside and climb the rope ladder. Back up here, slay the demons and pass through the only open gate. Interact here with the pink thing at the big wooden gate and enter the fortress (aka. Abandoned keep). Doing so will earn you the [Keep to Yourself] Trophy! ------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Abandoned Keep ---------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Caution with the red samurai demon, his hard and will struggle with you. If the demon does that, you can earn a trophy by winning the struggle. Just keep rotating the left stick while pressing square and R1 multiple times till Samanosuke throw him to the other side, make him falling on the ground. So you get [Mano A Mano] Trophy! After the fight, enter the far room to the left. Here you will find a Magic Mirror and the “Keep Map” inside the chest. Since you are here, upgrade the red orb you have (Kouen) to level 2! Just the orb. Upgrading the swords will void the Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind trophy. It will earn you with [Enhance] Trophy! You will also find a magic supply. In the other end of the room you will find man hanging from the cellar. It’s the first Moth Man (1/2) you need to talk for a trophy, so make sure to interact with him. Back in the previously room, enter the middle door. Inside, after the scene, grab the “Normal Arrows” from the chest and go through the door at the right. Inside the far room you will find “Journal #3” file (7/32). Back to where the Normal Arrows was, enter the door with the pink thing on it. Pass through the next room and you will meet Kaede again and the boy with a sad face. After the scene, go the same direction as Kaede (even doing different tasks, they go the same way). In the next room, caution with the amount of demons that will spawn. The camera working with the demons try to kill you, so keep defense up all the time. After killing all of them, examine the chest to grab an “Herb”, and beside it, at the left of the chest, in the shelf, look for another “Flourite” (3/20). Behind the stairs is another door. Inside it you will find another Tricky Box (2/6) (I like those). The right combination for that one is left, right, left, right and right. Open it and grab the “Bow” inside. To equip the bow, press L2, then R1 to aim. To Shoot, it’s R3 (pretty complicated). You see the rope behind you? Don’t hit it with the sword, or you will lost a power jewel. Behind that is some shelf. Look for a red book in it. It’s “Suzaku Vol. 2” file (8/32). Leave this room and climb the stairs you ignored early. Immediately enter the door you see right of Samanosuke. Inside, examine the wooden bucket to find a power jewel(3/5). Leave and continue the away, entering the door at your right. That’s a door with two pink things on it, which means you need to be with Kouen Orb at Level 2. Inside you will find a book over the table. Grab the “Red Book” file (9/32). The chest by the side has the “Right Crest Piece” item. Leave the room and enter the door straight ahead. At the other side, you will face two soldiers fighting two demons. Grab your bow (L2), and aim for the demons. You have to aim manually, just pressing R1 won’t work. Killing the demons and saving the soldiers will grant you a prize. Go all the way down there where the soldiers are (the keep entrance) and grab your treasure! It will be an “Herb” and a “Magic Jewel” (2/5). Save your game since you are already here. Go all the way to where you saved the soldiers and enter the room far left with the pink thing in it. Inside there’s another red samurai demon, and some lesser demons. In the next room, destroy the crate by the left and open the chest you find inside it. It will contain some “Normal Arrows”. Now examine the wall beside the chest and behind the stairs. There will be another “Flourite” (4/20). Continue and climb the stairs. In the next floor, will be a chest at the right containing more “Normal Arrows”, and a white book, hard to notice. That’s “Byakko Vol. 2” file (10/32). Save at the Magic Mirror on the other side and enter the door with two pink things. Samanosuke will meet with Kaede again. And will be imprisoned by some kind of trap, what a lucky. Anyway, regaining control, examine the lever in front of you. Game will switch you to control Kaede. Go forward and take the right lever. Back with Samanosuke, grab the left lever. Kaede’s turn. Grab the far left Lever. Now, with Samanosuke, grab the “Holy Armor” from the chest by your right. Equip it inside the equip menu, if you want. It’s a nice golden armor that prevent souls from been stolen. After this, grab two levers to the right of Kaede, not the one close to her. With Kaede, finally, grab the final lever by the left. Then enter the door. Inside, use Enryuu special ability to light up the candles. Then restore your magic bar by the magic pool in front of you and enter the door in the other side of the room. Another puzzle, very great! Okay, let’s go. You have cross and a plus sign. Step in the second plus sign, from left to right. Then, with Kaede, step at the far right cross, closest to you. With Samanosuke, step at the plus sign in front of you, immediately at your right. Straight forward with Kaede, in the only possible cross. Then Step at the circle with Samanosuke. Through the door we go again! Iiiin the next room, another trap. But this time, we control Kaede alone. What you have to do is interact with the wooden object beside where Samanosuke is held. Now you need to select the pieces of the puzzle to make the image match with the one in the back. Just keep moving the pieces one by one and in no time you will make it right. The Image is in the middle bottom of the space you have to work. After this you will get [The Silent Thinker] Trophy! Go around for the next room, there you will find a rope to pull. Do so and the traps will recede, while some stairs will fall from the cellar. Climb these stairs. Cross the corridor, ignoring the door. Descend the stairs. Cross another corridor and descend another set of stairs. Behind Samanosuke will be a chest with another Power Jewel (4/5). In the end of that corridor, by the other side, will be a door with a latch. Open it to unlock a shortcut to the first part of the Keep. Go this way, then leave the room by the door. Outside you will find soldier fighting some demons. Kill then to grab some “Normal Arrows” by a reward. Climb back up the stairs you just went down, and cross the same corridor again, but this time, go down one more time in the other side stairs. Here you will find a chest with the “Left Crest Piece” item and some carpet hanging in wall, by your left. Cut it with the sword and grab “Journal #4” file (11/32). Go back all the way up to the door you ignored a while ago. Examine it then use the two Crest Pieces that you have on your item inventory. Inside, watch the creep scene, then go to the right part of the room. In the right you will see “Seiryu Vol. 2” file (12/32) lying over the bench. On the left side you see a wooden box, examine the wall behind it to find one more “Flourite” (5/20). In the next room, “Suzaku Vol. 1” (13/32) will be lying on the ground at the left side. Move forward and quickly defend yourself. A ninja demon will cut through the paper wall and attack you. Slay him and grab the “Normal Arrows” behind the stairs. Climb it. Slay more ninja demons and enter next door you see. Grab “Medicine” by the chest at the left side, and “Seiryu Vol. 4” (14/32) by the right side, lying on the ground. In front of you will be “Seiryu Vol. 3” (15/32) file, sitting comfortably in a pillow, in the middle of the room. Cut the left side from that file to discovery a soul stone, or something like that. Absorb souls from that object, them save your game at the Magic Mirror, behind another cuttable object in the right. Save and climb the stairs. Another boss fight, I was already missing it. This time our nemesis is Marcellus, a big fella with sword and shield, and we will be fighting in the roof of the Keep. Very stylish. You can defend most of his attacks, like the other boss, but what you have to do is keep your distance than wait for him to attack. After each attack, you will have a few seconds to contour and attack him from the back, enough for a combo. Attacking his shield will make it broke. He will be open for attacks, but will get more aggressive, with longer combos, but nothing to worry about (I don’t know if it’s possible to beat him without broking his shield). Beat his ass off and got the [Slaying in the Moonlight] Trophy! Just By your side will a glowing green orb… guess what? Grab Arashi orb and also the [A Storm is Coming] trophy! Arashi comes with our newest weapon, Shippuu, the wind double lance. Shippuu attacks fast, making it harder for enemies to get closer to you, but also has a slightly weak attack power. Get outside from that tower, and go to the left. You will see some green thing on the door, which means you need to open it using the Shippuu weapon. Go through the door and (somehow) you will be back at the first floor. After the scene, go to the entrance. There, another soldier will be under attack. Kill the demons, even the one at the balcony, and grab his reward for you. Now, enter the room with the Magic Mirror and upgrade Shiden orb to level 2. Remember the door we completely ignored since we enter here? Well, it’s still there, so go through that door at the other side of the room, by the right of the entrance door. Enter here, slay the demons, and go to the next room. You will be ambushed by ninja demons. Slay them, then to the next room again. Here you will find the “Blue Book” file (16/32). In that same room, you will notice three glowing orbs, like the ones Samanosuke carry. Examine the orbs, holding the Enryuu weapon. Doing that will open the pedestal with the red orb. Then hold Raizan, and examine the blue orb. Then hold Shippuu and examine the green pedestal. It will open the way to the Keep Underground and grant you [Occult Unsealed] Trophy! Go down the stairs. ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Keep Underground ------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------- New area for us to explore. Let’s go. Down the hall, turn the first left and keep going through the door. Grab an “herb” by the chest and save. By the right corner you will find some long tentacle from the floor till the roof. Take the Shippuu and fast cut through these things. In the other side of the room, you will find the octopus like demon. Lay him and grab the books by the shelf. These will be the “ Green Book” (17/32), the “Orange Book” (18/32), and “Byakko Vol. 3” (19/32). In the next room, fight another group of octopus demons, then enter the room in the far right side. There you will get the “Purifier Bell” item. It’s trigger a trap, but don’t worry, just take your time passing through the blades and you can make it out without a scratch. Enter the door you ignored. By the right side, grab the “Keep Underground Map” inside the chest. Keep going down from the chest and cut the rope here. From the water will rise a small platform with an item. Grab the “Rosary of Communication” item, and also the [Soul Whisperer] Trophy! Now, go back to the first room of the Keep Underground, past the Magic Mirror (by the way, upgrade Arashi orb to level 2 if you don’t did yet). Here keep straight from the stairs that you entered and use the “Purifier Bell” in the door with the ghost faces on it. Thought the door, you will be ambushed by a few red samurai demons, kill them, then keep till the other end of the corridor. Examine the Left side of the wall here and grab another “Flourite” (6/20). Now backtrack a little bit and enter the door you just passed. Here, kill another group of octopus demons, then enter the room with two green things on the door. Here, kill the samurai and grab the “Apocalypse #1” file (20/32). Also grab “Byakko Vol. 4” file (21/32) too. Behind you is a Tricky Box (3/6). The code for it is middle, right and left. You will find the “Blue Key” item inside it. Beside the door you came through is an iron maiden torture machine, the big black thing by the right of the door. Examine it to grab the another “Flourite” (7/20). Leave the room, caution with the octopus demons, and enter the door in the end of the corridor to the right side. Inside the next room you will grab the “White Book” file (22/32) in the other end of the room. Beside that is a chest with an “herb” inside. It’s a good idea to backtrack a little bit and save your game. Return to the room where we you was ambushed by the red samurai demons, and open the door at the right side with the “Blue Key” you just got. Inside watch the scene with poor Samanosuke. Then, we got to Kaede to save our ass. What we would do without the ladies… ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- West Area ------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Controlling Kaede, leave the room and speak to the soldier. Grab the “Red Key” item from the ground. We will be facing the same demons, and that’s a good place to try to get a kill with Kaede’s special attack. All you need to do is jump to behind a demon, then press and hold R1 + Square + down button. Doing right will make Kaede cut the throat of the demon and give you the [Secret Ninja Skills] Trophy! Apart from this, it’s not worthy killing them, since you don’t absorb souls, so just try to run past them. And remember to keep your health almost full, you will need it. Now Leave the Abandoned Keep and, when you get out, enter the door at the left side, where we used the rope ladder. Here, use the “Red Key” in the far gate. Through the door, grab the “Herb” inside the chest. Keep going and grab the “Flourite” (8/20) at the rock, behind the house. In the next room, grab another “Flourite” (9/20) in the right side of the door with two blue things on it. Keep going and descend the ladder at the well in the left side, past the door you just grabbed the last Flourite. Down here you will find the second and last Moth Man (2/2) you need to talk to, doing so will award you with [Two to Tango] Trophy! Leave the well, and keep going the way you was. In the next room, by the left corner you will find a ladder. Climb it and cross the platform. Enter the door, then descend another ladder at the other side and you will be in a room with a Magic Mirror and a chest. That chest contain the “West Area Map”. Go through the door (that need to be opened with the “Shinobi Kit”, but is automatically done). Cross the corridor and enter the room. Inside, in the other side, find “Suzaku Vol. 4” (23/32) in the top of the shelf, by the left. The chest beside that file have the “Journal #5” (24/32). Leave that room and go straight to the next door. In the right corner, pull the chain, then cross the room evading the fire. Inside the small room on the other side, smash the crates to find and “herb”, then examine the right wall to get the “Gold Plate” item. Pull the chain again, then leave the room. Go back all the way past the Magic Mirror, climb the stairs, and descend the other way, at the left side will be a door. This place is the bamboo forest. Here, cut a bamboo by the sides with your knife, to get [Bamboo-zled] Trophy! Then cross that place, grabbing the “Kunai” along the way, then inside the door. You will be inside a room with another Magic Mirror. In front of it will be another Decoder Box (3/4). The sequence to answer it right is, from left to right, fifth word, then seventh, then second word. Inside you will find a Magic Jewel (3/5). Continue outside, and grab the “Wooden Gear” by the dead soldier. Now, you will need to travel a little bit. Go to the other Magic Mirror, then to the room that you get the two files, straight across the room with fire. Inside, examine the shelf by the far right, and the insert the “Wooden Gear” from your inventory in it. Pull the string. Ooohh, secret room. Inside, grab the “Byakko Vol. 1” file (25/32) by the floor. Grab the “Silver Plate” inside the chest, and, in your way out, grab the “Flourite” (10/20) before the crest, just behind you. Another little trip. Return to the room where you grab the “Wooden Gear”, by the second Magic Mirror, just past the garden corridor. There, go far as possible and you will see the gate. Insert the two pieces “Gold Plate” and “Silver Plate” in the sides to unlock it. Through the door you will find yourself in a room in flames. Enter the door by the left of Kaede. Immediately turn right of Kaede and look for a “Flourite” (11/20) by the wooden buckets. Up the stairs you will fain another Tricky Box (4/6). The sequence is middle, left, left, right and right. Doing so will grant you the “Sacred Knife” item and the [Wish I Had This Sooner] Trophy! Equip that new knife, since it’s way stronger than the first one. Back from there, continue to the other direction, passing the corridor, beating the demons, till the room with a lot o vases. Broken them all, then grab the “Genbu Vol. 2” file (26/32). The chest beside you have some “Kunai”. Backtrack a few steps and down the stairs beside the gate you came from outside. Keep going the way till you find some cellars. And the princess. After the scene, prepare for the battle. You need to defeat that guy, but that’s not a complicate task. He’s turn invisible and invulnerable. When he disappear, just run in large circles. When the fall attack you, he will probably miss if you are moving. Then attack him for a few hits till he disappear again. Rinse and Repeat till he drops out. After the fight, Samanosuke will wake up somewhere. Grab the “Medicine” inside the chest and save your game. Go forward till you find….. your doppelganger. Not the worst fight. The doppelganger opens his guard when it’s attacking, so wait for him to make an action, then try to get him in the middle of his combo. For this, you don’t want to stay with the lock on all the time. Actually, don’t use it at all. If you surround him, things a little easy, since the camera don’t help much. If you make your space from him, the bow may help as well. When his casting his special ability, that’s the time to hit him with one of yours. Beating or twin brother will grant us the [There Can Be Only One] Trophy! Anyway, keep going. In the next room, grab the “Evil Plate” from the chest. The big chest beside it has a “Wood Ladder”, and don’t have any puzzle to open. Use the item you just got by the edge, and climb it. You will be back (guess where…. Yes, that’s right) at Abandoned Keep. Leave the room and use the “Evil Plate” by the strange door. Inside, watch the scene, then leave. At the entrance, you will find a new demon, a variation of the red samurai. That’s the black samurai, and his got a shield. Nothing special, just a little harder to hit. Go inside the Magic Mirror room and level up your Shiden Orb to Level 3. Go the way Kaede went, outside the Keep, where she used the “Red Key”. On the other side, save the soldier, if you want to. He gives you “Burst Bullets”. In the next room, enter the door with three blue things on it. Inside, grab the “Genbu Vol. 1” file (27/32) and absorb the souls by the right. By the left of the file you just grabbed, open the chest to get the “Vision Staff” and earn the [Sight Beyond Sight] Trophy! Leave the room and keep going ignoring the bamboo forest, and climbing the stairs, till you reach the Magic Mirror. Upgrade Kouen orb to level 3 here and open the door behind you. In the next room, you will notice a rope holding a wooden card. Cut that rope before anything else, and it will kill the demons that are below. This action will grant you the [Road Kill] Trophy. Beside, inside the chest, Is a “Medicine”. Go around the fence, and grab the shine on the floor. It will be a “Flourite” (12/20). Pass to the next room. A brief scene will occur. You will be facing a semi-boss, with some lesser company. Nothing special here, just spam special abilities and he will fall in no time. If here rise his axe, the only way to evade his next attack is by have the lock on him and tapping the dash to left or right (I find evading by his left more secure). Killing him will grant you the [Axe-ecutioner] Trophy! After the encounter, get the “Statue Head” from the chest by the right side. The chest in the left has some “Bullets”. Also, get the “Decorated Sword” beside the bullets chest. Now go all the way back to the room with three blue things on it. Put the “Statue Head” into the headless statue by the left side. Now go around the big statue to the back of the room and open the big chest to get the “Matchlock” rifle and also the [Near, Far, Wherever You Are] Trophy! Now leave the West Area, and back to the Abandoned Keep. Visit the Magic Mirror and upgrade the Arashi orb to level 3. Doing this will grant you the [Max Orbs] Trophy! Now, outside the keep, go to the lower right side of the room. Some gigantic ants will burst out the small gate here. Slay them, then put the “Decorated Sword” you just get into the stone, inside the gate. Doing so will make the big stone come down, leaving a new way. Pass through the door. ------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------- East Area --------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Entering the East Area will award you with the [Glimmering Waters] Trophy! You will be rewarded with [Gaunt and Done It] Trophy! ***Information About “Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind” and “None For Me, Thanks” trophies*** “Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind is hard to make altogether with “None For Me, Thanks”. What you can do here to make your life easier is to save by that last Magic Mirror, and, first you upgrade all your blades and all your health and magic bars with the jewels with collected. Doing this will grant you three trophies, the [Max Swords], [[Demonic Vitality] and [Magic Overload] at the same time. So, save before doing this in a separate file, and beat the game without using healing items. After this, reload the file before enhance everything and go beat the game with everything at “level 1”. But now you can use herbs and medicine to make your life easier. Doing this you got the two most annoying trophies in the game with less trouble. ***************End of additional information regardless those trophies*************** Know, go back to the door with the strange blue lock on it (the one you put in the “Evil Plate”). Inside, come closer to the wall in front of you and use the “Great Bow”. Here you will get the [When Worlds Colide]Trophy! Watch a scene then be prepared to fight another boss! ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Demon World ------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------- This time, we will be fighting the Marcellus’s final form. He can be pretty annoying. . His first stage is with the sword and shield, similar from the first battle. The same strategy takes place. About halfway, he will throw the shield and grab a new kind of double sword, with fast moves, and will get more aggressive. You can block all his moves. After the combos, you have time to get a few hits on him. Take care when he’s run back. He will dash towards without warning. This place is the only time on the game you can get the “One Chance” Missable trophy. All you have to do is parry one of Marcellus attacks and counter it with a critical hit. Focus on his moves, when he is about to hit you, strike L1 fast to defend the blow, and very fast strike Square, almost at the same time. The Easier way to do it is when he run back and dash towards you, this way you can see when he’s about to get to you. Doing right will award you with [One Chance] Trophy! Also beating him will grant [Elite Demon Slayer] Trophy! Now, in the next room, you will notice, by the right wall, some kind of bone finger gate. Approach it and use the “Bishamon Ocarina” you got from dark realm. Doing this will open your way inside the room, and there you will got the “Bishamon Sword”, the best weapon in the game together with [Demons Die Now] Trophy! Outside that small room is a Magic Mirror, and beside, the “Demons World Map”. That’s the last map you get, so the [Never Lost] Trophy is yours! Now, through the door, descend the big circular corridor and enter the door in the end. Now, the real final boss fight begins! Here you will face Fortibras, King of the Demons! He’s not so annoying since he still in the same place the whole battle, but has a lot of health. Here, you must be smart about using your special abilities, just don’t go spamming everything because he will not drop! About his movies. When he’s using the arms, just defend and you are same. If him grab you, fast keep pressing square + R1 while rotating the left analog. If you don’t make yourself free in time, that‘s a insta-kill attack, so take care. When he blows fire, just go far possible from him and run from the fire, you should be save. Now, when he summons the pink light, some thunder will fall from the spot it stop. Just got away from the place that the light stopped and you should be safe. And finally, his head laser. It’s fast and hard to evade, and you can’t defend, you keep an eye on his movies, when he’s about to use it, just dash to left or right and that’s all about his moves. Now, what you should do with the special attacks is use it’s “ability that makes you temporally invulnerable, while the attack’s animation is occurring. Use when he’s about to grab you, or when the pink light is about to burst, and you can make through his attacks, leaving scratchless. Doing this will grant you the [Save the Princess] Trophy! Congratulations, you finish the game for the first time and already has most of the trophies. Now, if you follow the walkthrough till now, you should have unlocked the following: [Panda-monium] Trophy for find more than 10 Flourite in one playthrough. [None for Me, Thanks] Trophy for beat the game without using herbs or medicine. [Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind] Trophy for beat the game without enhance sword or using jewels. Also, finding all 20 Flourite in one playthrough makes you unlock the “Oni Spirits” mini game in the extra section of the main menu. You will have to beat it in order to unlock ultimate difficulty. He’s a concise guide for it: The mini game happen in room full of vases and with a few demons. Your health is drained at every second. Your objective is to release a set number of spirits, breaking all the vases. Lower right on the screen shows you the remaining number of spirits you must release. If a demon destroy a vase, it will not count towards you, so you must kill them before they destroy the vases. Apart from that, you don’t need to kill the demons to complete the stages. Each stage change the number of vases and spirits, but have stronger demons. Enryuu is best suited for this since is a long sword and it’s horizontal strikes make easier to reach a higher number of vases in less time. Here is the description of each stage. Stage 1: Spirits 28/ Vases 20 (have a herb by the chest) Stage 2: Spirits 34/ Vases 20 (Make sure to grab Shiden by the left) Stage 3: Spirits 39/ Vases 26 (Grab Matchlock here, in the middle of the room) Stage 4: Spirits 38/ Vases 26 (grab Kouen by a box on the right lower corner) Stage 5: Spirits 36/ Vases 28 (Burst Bullets at the left. Kill the flying skull monster) Stage 6: Spirits 6/ Vases 6 (You must break all vases for yourself. With Enryuu in hand, just dash forward an hit the demons before they do a move) Stage 7: Spirits 39/ Vases 32 (Grab Arashi from the Chest in the middle, then use it special ability to break everything) Stage 8: Spirits 42/ Vases 36 (starting spamming a few Arashi special ability, them change to Enryuu and finish the reaming vases. Holy armor is a chest far north) Stage 9: Spirits 42/ Vases 28 (Here you need to be fast. Break through with Enryuu, till you reach the demon. Use some special ability to stun him and finish the stage.) Stage 10: Spirits 6/ Vases 6 (You must break all by yourself again. Start spamming Kouen special ability to stun the red samurai, then run for other vases. Ignore the ninjas and be fast (Don’t use lock on)) Stage 11: Spirits 39/ Vases 30 (Right on the beginning you can try to hit the red samurai with Enryuu special ability, but it’s not easy. Just make room with Enryuu and be fast, you will be okay. Make sure to save at least one use of special ability from Shippuu to the last stage) Stage 12: Spirits 44/ vases 36 (another one that you don’t have much run. Start by making some room with Enryuu, and fast defend, so you block the spinner attack. Best here is switch to Shippuu and spam special ability.) Doing all 12 stages, you get the trophy. Be sure to save your game here, to unlock the Ultimate Difficulty with [Ogre Savior] Trophy! Now you should begin a new game in Ultimate Difficulty. You will play again through the game the same way as before. The only change is that you will have infinity special ability (which kinda broken the game, but… whatever.) and start with Bishamon Sword (which broken the game a lit bit more). Nothing to worry about, but now that you don’t have to care about collectibles, you can reach the final checkpoint in about 1 hour and 10 minutes (that was my mark, you can be even faster). In this playthrough we will get all the remaining trophies. So what you must do to perform that is: Playthrough the game killing every demon you find, but the demons that you can’t reach but with the bow, these you can skip. Play till the last checkpoint inside Abandoned Keep, before opening the door to the Demon World. You Should have less than 2 hours and 15 minutes here, so you can repeat dark realm to farm souls and demons slain. The reason for that is you must beat the game in less than 3 hours, while having slain more than 600 demons along the way and with, at least, 60.000 souls collected by your gauntlet. So farming in the Dark Realm by the abandoned keep in essential, since you will get around 300~400 kills by this time, without farming. One run in the dark realm will grant you 100+ demons kills, and around 13.000 souls collected. You will need around 12 minutes to finish one run on dark realm, so, doing at least three runs is necessary. After doing all that requirements, beat the game again (just spam your special abilities on both final bosses) and obtain Rank S. You should unlock all the other trophies that remain. Just Halfway Complete the first half of the Dark Realm. Missable. See “A Survivor to the End” trophy. A Survivor to the End Complete the second half of the Dark Realm. Missable. The Dark Realm is a series of waves that you have to pass through in order to complete. It’s nothing to hard, you will face the same enemies as the game. The fights take place in a tight arena, so take care with getting surrounded. You will earn this trophy as soon as you get to wave 20, along with “Just Halfway” trophy. This place in linked with some other trophies, since you will get the 3 final Flourite here, and get the Bishamon Ocarina, required for another trophy. Blunt Sword, Sharp Mind Complete the game on Normal without enhancing swords or using Jewels. Missable! In Onimusha, you enhance your weapons (swords) with the souls of defeated enemies. To earn this trophy, you have to beat the entire game, on normal difficult, without upgrading them a single time. When I say, “normal difficulty” it means you can’t get it by playing on ultimate. Like I suggest, this can be done on your first playtrough. Just have your time with the game and got used with the mechanics, especially with parry/counter. Aside from been a “fast oriented” game”, you have time to read the moves from your enemies, and get used on how to handle every situation. The Ultimate Champion Complete the game on Ultimate difficulty. After beating the game once, you will unlock Oni Spirit mini game. Beat it and ultimate difficulty will unlock. Here you will try to get Rank S by the screen result, so you unlock all the remaining trophies. Playthrough the game killing every demon you find but the demons that you can’t reach but with the bow, these you can skip. That is The Ultimate Champion Trophy, Speed Demon Trophy, Pro-nimusha Trophy, Scantily-Clad Jutsu Trophy, all along with the so waited The True Onimusha Platinum Trophy! None for Me, Thanks Complete the game on Normal without using herbs or medicine. Missable. To earn this, you can’t heal yourself with herbs or medicine. The only way the game let you cure your wounds is by absorbing yellow souls from defeated enemies. It’s not hard as it looks. Your worst moments will be at some boss fights, but take your time to learn how to defend yourself and the enemies movies. Try to skip every fight you can. Sometimes you can just enter in a new room with enemies, just go back to the previously room and back again, because, doing this, in some places, like the Abandoned Keep entrance, will make demons despawn. Memorize all boss fights and they movies, so you don’t get hit too much. Apart from the bosses, the game is pretty simple to handle without the use of healing items. Just one more thing to keep in mind is that Kaede health will stay the same between sections of the game you play with her. Which means, if you got with 10% health, and had a checkpoint where you got back to control Samanosuke, when you get back to Kaede, she will stay with the 10%, and since she doesn’t absorb souls, she can’t help but by healing items. Speed Demon Complete the game in less than 3 hours. Missable. Onimusha is pretty small game, when you know where you have to go, what’s necessary and what isn’t. Doing this playthough in ultimate difficulty is recommended. This will short you one whole playthrough. Don’t attempt this at your first time with the game. Make through it at your time and try to memorize some puzzles and bosses. If you feel uncomfortable to attempt it in ultimate difficult, just make a new playthrough after this. You can beat the game in around 2 hours if you now what to do. Pro-nimusha Complete the game and get an S Rank. Missable. The rank on the final screen credits is set by: The time you needed to beat the game: You must not pass 3 hours. How many Flourites you got, but this do not influence your overall score. How many souls you collected altogether. You will need 55,000 souls for this. And how many demons you slain. You will need 600 at least. Doing this feats at once will earn you a bright S in the final results. See The Ultimate Champion trophy description to see tips on how do that on ultimate difficulty. Ogre Savior Complete all stages of Oni Spirits. Oni Spirits is a mini game outside the game. To unlock it, beat the game grabbing all 20 Flourite with you. The mini game happen in room full of vases and with a few demons. Your health is drained at every second. Your objective is to release a set number of spirits, breaking all the vases. Apart from that, you don’t need to kill the demons to complete the stages. Each stage change the number of vases and spirits, but have stronger demons. Same as Max Sword trophy, but this one is story related because you need to orbs at certain levels to be able to progress on the game. Demonic Vitality Use Power Jewels to increase Vitality to maximum. Missable. Power Jewels are special items that enhance Samanosuke’s health bar. Here is the order you should obtain them: 1 – Soon after you grab the Rope Ladder, you will find the second Magic Mirror of the game. Beside is a decoder box. Here you need to put the right sequence of possible answers the game gives you. You have eight “words”, but you must choose just three. The right answer is, from left to right, first one, then third, then sixth word. That’s the first decoder box, and second Magic Jewel. 2 – Just after you use the Rope Ladder, you will come inside a fortress. By the Magic Mirror is the second decoder box. The right to that one is, from left to right, sixth word, then first, then fourth. Inside is the second Power Jewel. 3 - Inside the Abandoned Keep. Go past where you found Kaede with the boy, in the next room you will find a chest with an herb inside, beside the stairs. Climb the stairs and enter the room immediately at Samanosuke’s right. Inside there’s a bowl with the power jewel inside. *WARNING* if you cut the rope in the room downstairs, that wooden bucket will not be there, and you will not be able to grab that power jewel. 4 – After Kaede free Samanosuke from the water trap, you will be at same room as her again. From here, go around for the next room, there you will find a rope to pull. Do so and the traps will recede, while some stairs will fall from the cellar. Climb these stairs. Cross the corridor, ignoring the door. Descend the stairs. Cross another corridor and descend another set of stairs. Behind Samanosuke will be a chest with another Power Jewel. 5 – See Magic Jewel number #4. This Power Jewel is just in the next room from the Magic Jewel #4. Climb the stairs from it and you will find it on the roof. Magic Overload Use Magic Jewels to increase Magic Power to maximum. Missable. Magic Jewels are special Items that enhance Samanosuke’s magic bar. Here is the location and order you should obtain: 1 - After get the Rope Ladder inside the first decoder box, you will find yourself in a forest. As soon as you leave, look for the right of Samanosuke. You can see something orange. That’s the tip of a treasure chest. Inside is the first “Magic Jewel”. 2 – Inside the Abandoned Keep, you will eventually leave a room that will lead to the balcony of the keep entrance. There will be two soldiers fighting two demons. You need to be with the bow since you can’t leave the room without killing the demons, or you will lose the jewel. Kill the demons with the bow and descend to the entrance, where you will find two shine things on the ground. One of those is the jewel. 3 – Inside the third Decoder Box. While Playing as Kaede, it’s in the room with the Magic Mirror on it, past the garden corridor with the ninja demons. 4 – In East area. After entering, go around the bridge and through the door with level 3 green lock. Pass the door with the Journal #6 file.
In that next room, go on the bridge and enter the first door you see. Inside, just go all the wall up. There you will find a chest on the ground with the Magic Jewel inside. 5 – Inside the Decoder box #4. In the East Area. After passing through the level 3 green lock, and all the way to the waterfall, enter the house up there. Inside, you will find the box beside the Magic Mirror. The Answer is, from the left to right, third word, then sixth word. All in a Day's Work Save a soldier under attack by demons. Missable. In the fourth room of “South Area”, there’s a soldier under attack by Samurai demons. This is the earliest point to get the trophy. You will inevitable pass through him. As soon as you enter, kill the demons here to save the soldier’s life and earn the trophy. Another place to do that is at the balcony of the entrance of Abandoned Keep, but you will need the Bow to kill the demons, since they will be one level below you. Kill all the demons in the save with the soldiers, and the trophy is yours. Deadly Strike Use a Special Attack to kill a demon. The game has some “Special Attacks” that you can perform. There is plenty of ways and situations to do that, but it’s not so simple. One and easiest way to do it is block (L1) by the time the demon strike is hitting you, then a small bright will occur, very fast press Square. Doing so, Samanosuke will do a deadly strike, killing the enemies with one hit. It’s will happen naturally and by accident, even if you don’t defend the entire game, since you can do a deadly strike without rising guard at all. Secret Ninja Skills Strike a demon with Kaede's Special Attack. Missable, but easy to get as well. You need to kill a demon with Kaede’s special attack. All you need to do is jump to behind a demon, then press and hold R1 + Square + down button. Doing right will make Kaede cut the throat of the demon and give you the Trophy! See You Next Fall Defeat a demon by knocking it down the waterfall. Missable. When you reach the West Area, you will come to a tall building. On the ground level, there will be a level 3 green lock. Passing through that door, keep going up by the left side till you found yourself in a waterfall. Here, step in the wooden bridge to lure the demon in the other side, and cut the bridge rope when he’s in the middle of the bridge to make him fall and grant you the trophy. Road Kill Kill a demon with a battering ram. Missable, but like the others nothing to worry about. In the west area, when you reach there controlling Samanosuke, you will reach the Magic Mirror room that has a level 3 red orb lock. Through that door, you will notice a rope holding a wooden cart. Cut that rope before anything else, and it will kill the demons that are below. This action will grant you the trophy. Mano A Mano Win a power struggle with a demon. Missable. You can earn this trophy by winning a power struggle with a demon. As soon as you enter the Abandoned Keep, you will notice a new type of demon, a red samurai. Sometimes, when you attack each other at the same time, a power struggle will begin. Just keep rotating the left stick and pressing the square button till Samanosuke throw him to the other side, make him falling on the ground, and winning the contest. Luck? Yeah, Right. Solve all number puzzles. Scattered around the game you will find some boxes lying on the ground. They are a number puzzle that you have to do in order to open it. There’s just six of them. 1 – Right after you obtain Shiden, you will run into a small corridor with a stair. Beside the stairs is an alcove you will find the first box. The right sequence to open it is “Left”, “Right”, “Left”. You will get Rope Ladder and that’s Story-related (you can’t progress if don’t open this one). 2 – After the Scene with Kaede and the kid, in the Abandoned Keep, go to the next room, and straight to a room under the stairs. Inside you will find a Tricky box. The combination for that is left, right, left, right and right. Here you get the Bow. 3 – Inside Keep Underground. After using the Purifier Bell at the entrance of the Keep Underground, keep going the only way possible by that part in the story, and you will pass through a door with two green things on it. Of course you need Arashi at level 2 to be able to enter that room. Inside, you will find that tricky box. The correct code is middle, right, left. 4 – You can find this one once you are controlling Kaede. After some story progress, you will need to put both “Gold Plate” and “Silver Plate” inside a gate to make it open. Through that gate is a room in flames. Enter the door immediately by the left of Kaede. Inside that room, climb the stairs and you will find the Tricky Box. The code for that one is middle, left, left, right and right. 5 – In the East Area. After passing through the level 3 green lock, and all the way to the waterfall. Go around the side passage, and enter the alcove on the right to find another Tricky Box. The answer is down-left, up-right, down-right, down-left and down-right. 6 - While still playing as Kaede, go through the “Story-Progress” way till you find the second Magic Mirror. Continue to the next room. Pass the archers and enter the door by the left corridor. Inside that room, climb the stairs and you will find the Tricky Box in the bottom of this room. The answer is Left, Left, middle, right, right, middle, middle. Decrypter, Table for One Solve all decoder boxes. Missable. Decoder Boxes are boxes that you have to (guess what?!) decode to open. Here’s the order they are found: 1 – After you got the Rope Ladder from the first number puzzle box, you’ll leave into a forest. Keep going and you will find the second Magic Mirror of the game. Beside is a decoder box. Here you need to put the right sequence of possible answers the game gives you. You have eight “words”, but you must choose just three. The right answer is, from left to right, first one, then third, then sixth word. That’s the first decoder box, and also the second Magic Jewel. 2 – Just after you use the Rope Ladder, you will come inside a fortress. By the Magic Mirror is the second decoder box. The right to that one is, from left to right, sixth word, then first, then fourth. Inside is the second Power Jewel. 3 – In the west area, while playing with Kaede. It will be at the room with the Magic Mirror past the bamboo forest with the ninja demons. 4 – In the East Area. After passing through the level 3 green lock, and all the way to the waterfall, enter the house up there. Inside, you will find the box beside the Magic Mirror. The Answer is, from the left to right, third word, then sixth word. Open the fourth one and the trophy is yours. Soul Whisperer Obtain the Rosary of Communication. Missable. The Rosary of Communication is an item that let you “talk” to dead bodies around the map, but it’s not required to beat the game. You will find it in the same room as the Keep Underground Map. Cut the rope in the bottom of the room. From the water, will rise a small platform with an item. Grab the “Rosary of Communication” item, and also the [Soul Whisperer] Trophy! Two to Tango Speak to the first and second old moth man. Missable. To earn that trophy, you just need to interact with the two moth man you find around the place. The first one is right when you enter the Abandoned Keep. Inside the left door, on the other side of the room, you will find a room with a Magic Mirror. In the other side of that room, you will find the Moth Man. Make sure to interact with him. The second one is a bit latter, when you are controlling Kaede. Past the door with the two blue things on it, after you used the red key, you will see a well at the left side. Descend that well and look for the Moth Man (it’s the only thing in the room). Interact with him and you will get the trophy. Vengeance Defeat Osric. After the fight you will get a lot of souls and Vengeance Trophy. Slaying in the Moonlight Defeat Marcellus. He will be open for attacks, but will get more aggressive, with longer combos, but nothing to worry about Beat his ass off and got the [Slaying in the Moonlight] Trophy! There Can Be Only One Defeat Stylado. Stylado is a doppelganger of Samanosuke. Very defensive. Opens his guard when it’s attacking, so wait for him to make an action, then try to get him in the middle of his combo. For this, you don’t want to stay with the lock on all the time. Actually, don’t use it at all. If you surround him, things a little easy, since the camera don’t help much. If you make your space from him, the bow may help as well. When his casting his special ability, that’s the time to hit him with one of yours. Defeat him to get the trophy. Axe-ecutioner Defeat Barabazuu. Missable, since you can skip the fight. After going through the room with the level 3 red lock, in the West Area, you will pass through another area. The next one after this is the room where you get the Statue Head key item, also the place where you fought Barbazuu. His is not a boss, maybe a semi-boss. Just spam special abilities and he will fall in no time. If here rise his axe, the only way to evade his next attack is by have the lock on him and tapping the dash to left or right (I find evading by his left more secure). Killing him will grant you the trophy. Pest Exterminator Defeat Hecuba. Story-Related. Hecuba is the fourth boss of the game. She flies, so it’s hard to reach her. Shippuu special ability works best here. If you hit her with it, she will fly down, at this point, try to combo with Raizan special ability for best damage output. Enryuu is good too, since it can reach her, but will not weaken her. She say something when about to hit you, use that for your advantage. Between the special abilities, try to get a few hits with Enryuu. The giant ants will not stop respawning, by the way. Elite Demon Slayer Defeat Marcellus's final form. Marcellus’s final form fight take place as soon as you enter in the Demon world. This place is the only time on the game you can get the “One Chance” Missable trophy, so read the description to make sure you don’t lose it. Finishing the battle will award you with this trophy. Save the Princess Defeat Fortinbras. Story-Related. Just after the previously boss fight, you will run down some platform and, in the next room, will watch a scene and then the final boss fight. He’s not the hardest boss from the game. All you need to do is keeping attacking. Doing this, you won’t leave much room for him counter strike you. When he’s summoning the pink orbs, prepare to hit him with level 3 Shippuu special attack. Pressing triangle just before the pink orbs hit you will make you invulnerable, and the orb animation will be gone before the Shippuu special. Don’t let him grab you, or will be a insta-kill. Just keep attacking and using Raizan special attack while he’s not summoning the orbs and you will be okay. One Chance Strike Marcellus's final form with a Deflect Critical attack. Missable. All you have to do is parry one of Marcellus attacks and counter it with a critical hit. Focus on his moves, while holding R1, when he is about to hit you strike L1 fast to defend the blow right when it’s about to hit you. Doing it right will make a bright appear and a different sound will play. Very fast strike Square, almost at the same time you defend his blow. The Easier way to do it is when he run back and dash towards you, this way you can see when he’s about to get to you. Fall's Flight Spot the flock of wild geese at dusk. Missable. Right the beginning of the game, after you get your gauntlet, keep going till a samurai lock you inside the house with some demons. After the fight, don’t go see the man, but go back you way you came. Now go to the bridge you just passed through and wait for the flock of geese to show up. Undying Summer Find the beetle on the tree trunk. Missable. After you meet the samurais that lock you into the house, at the beginning of the game, you will have to jump in a hole, inside a cave, in the next scenario. lock on the hole, but don’t jump. Instead, leave the area to where the wounded soldier was and come back. Just take a few steps, and keep absorbing with your gauntlet. A beetle will show up, climbing the wall by your right, together with the trophy. All Lives Big and Small Absorb souls from carp. Missable. With Samanosuke, while on the west area, go past the big tower, before the waterfall. There, you will find a lake with some carp. Keep pressing the absorb button close to the water till you unlock the trophy. Bamboo-zled! Cut down bamboo in the bamboo forest. Missable, but pretty simple. All you need to do is cut a bamboo with your sword or knife. For easy localization, the bamboo forest is the room just before you enter the place where you need to put the “Gold Plate” and “Silver Plate” to open a gate, while playing with Kaede. **Thanks for using my guide!** That’s all for now, using this guide will grant you the platinum trophy in around 8 hours or less. I’ll keep updating it with more specific stuff and terms to make it even more complete, but that’s all for now. Version 1.00 of this at, at 15:12pm GMT, 01/17/2019. Copyright 2019 GardenOfSouls.
