Started working on the guide for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. 11/17/2013: Worked on the guide for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix some more. 11/19/2013 - 11/20/2013: Worked on the guide even more. 11/22/2013 - 12/03/2013: Worked on the guide even still. 12/10/2013 - Finished up the guide for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. Re: CoM (Chain of Memories) and Days are left other than the details section. 12/13/2013 - 12/15/2013: Worked on the guide for Re: CoM. 12/15/2013: Worked on the guide for Re: CoM some more. 12/18/2013: Finished the guide for Re: CoM. I've also started and finished the guide for 358/2 Days. All that's left is the details portion and the guide will be ready to be summited (other than waiting until Christmas when I actually have the game) as I don't even have a PS3 at the time of starting this (though, I did play the game through my brother-in-law's PS3). 12/20/2013: Worked on and finished the details portion of this guide. All that's left to do at this point is to summit the guide to GameFAQs. However, since I don't actually have the game at this point, I'll have to hold off on do so for now. I'll be getting this game for Christmas, so it won't be that long of a wait hopefully. 12/25/2013: The day I finally summited the guide to GameFAQs. If this gets accepted on the same day, it'll be a Christmas Gift from me to you the readers. Otherwise, it'll be a late Christmas Gift. Marry Christmas to all who celeabrate it either way. 02/24/2014: I had to make a lot of edits to and corrected some of the infomation mentioned in this guide (mainly the ones related to Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories). I've also decided to add a new act to my guide and readjust the guide accordingly. 04/10/2014: Made some edits to the guide, some of which I've discovered while playing Re: Chain of Memories. Other than that, not much to say here. 09/07/2014: Was given addtional tips by another guide reader and included them in the guide. Both of the relate to Re: Chain of Memories. 11/27/2014: Made some corrections to the details portion of the guide. Nothing special to note. ****************************************************************************** * Act 2: Intro * ****************************************************************************** Hey Guys, welcome to my next guide in my series of works. As you can tell from my user name, my name is Gamer364. This guide is designed to help all players playing this game unlock all the trophies this game has. I want to start by saying that this is the 1st guide I've done that was made for a PS3 exclusive game (and maybe the 1st of many with Mircosoft going in the direction it's going with their Xbox systems (especially with the Xbox One and the 360 I used to love so much) that I'm not sure I like necessarily). For reasons unknown to myself, I happen to notice that this game was out and I wanted to get my hands on a copy. However, for some reason, Square thought it would be a good idea to make it a PS3 excusive title (even though they're planing to make Kingdom Hearts 3 for the Xbox One and PS4). So, I talked to my mom into getting a getting me a PS3 for X-mas* and... I don't want to bore you with the rest and I know you guys probably don't like long Intros anyway, so I'll get on with the guide already. *That's usually how I spell Christmas when I write it down on paper. Warring: This guide can and will contain spoilers. I will do my best to not spoil stuff from the game, but sometimes it just can not be helped, so read at your own risk. ****************************************************************************** | Act 3: Trophy Overview | ****************************************************************************** Achievement/trophy difficulty Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix: 3/5* Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories: 3.5/5 Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days: 1/5 Average: 3.5/5* *The Marked numbers were based on 1st impressions I had when I looked at the trophy list for the games. Actual difficulty yet to be determined. Number of Trophies: Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix: 56 Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories: 48 Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days: 6 Total: 110 Least amount of playthroughs to get all Trophies Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix: 3 (4+ suggested)* Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories: 6* Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: 1 (though, you don't play the game per say) Total: 10 (11+ suggested) *Difficulty Trophies don't stack for some stupid reason. Number of Missable Trophies Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix: 0 (although you can miss the side-quest trophies in this game, you can double back for them when you at (but not pass) the point of no return. Even if this wasn't the case, you have to beat the game at least 3 times to earn the Platinum Trophy in this game anyway. No matter how you look at it, non of the trophies can truly be missed.) Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories: 2 (but only if you didn't bother 100%-ing Days (refer to the details to know what I'm talking about)). Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days: 0 Total: 2 (but only in Re: Chain of Memories as I ultimately realized and only applies to those who didn't get all of the trophies in Days). Details: This one's a long one, so expect a lot reading here. This game is a collection of 3 of the Kingdom Hearts games all of which were originally released for the PS2 (with the exception of 358/2 Days, which was originally released for the Nintendo DS). This collection pack includes the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 1 which has otherwise gone unreleased outside Japan. As for Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, this was a PS2 remake of the GBA game of a similar name (neither of which *Puts on Anti-Fan Boy/Girl Armor and casts the Anti-Flame spell* I can't say are any good). I mean "Card-Based Gameplay"? What on earth have they been smoking when they though that type of gameplay in an Action RPG (Role-Playing Game) was a good idea? *Looks around to make sure no Fan Boys/Girls are there* But this isn't a review on a game (or collection pack in this game's case), this is an in-depth guide (a Trophy guide never the less), so take what I said about Re: Chain of Memories as a grain of salt. Anyway, as for 358/2 Days, this version of the game is nothing more than a bunch of cutscenes remade with HD graphics. Nothing more I can really say about it other than *checks to make sure Anti-Flame is still up* how bad that name sounds and reads. I mean, Square couldn't come up with a better name for the game then that? Seriously? *Looks around to make sure no Fan Boys/Girls are there again, but doesn't see any yet*. Enough about the collection itself and let's get to the meat of this portion of the guide. What order you take on this collection doesn't really matter, but if you want to get "Card Master Sora" in Re: Chain of Memories, you have to 100% Days* 1st. You could go in chronological order (though, if you want to 100% Re: CoM (Chain of Memories), you'll have to 100% Days at some point), but my order will be Re: CoM 1st (with Days somewhere in between the playthroughs) then Kingdom Hearts 1. This guide will go in chronological order like my Devil May Cry HD Collection Achievement guide did (refer to the "Other Guides I've Done" section of Act 8 for the link)). *What I'll be abb.-ing the DS game from time to time. The reason for the 3 (4+ suggested) playthroughs in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and 6 in Re: Chain of Memories is because difficulty trophies don't stack for some stupid reason. If they did stack, you would be looking at 1 playthrough for Kingdom Hearts and 2 (one for Sora and Riku resepectively) for Re: CoM. However, I would have suggested 2+ playthroughs in Kingdom Hearts for the Kingdom Key only and 100% runs. I would have also suggested 2 playthroughs for Sora's Story in Re: CoM (1 for Proud and 1 more for 100%). With Riku, he properly could got everything done in 1 playthrough of Proud, but I would've suggested 2 as well. If you need help with either Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and/or Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories at any point during your journy to 100%, here's a walkthrough for the 2 games below. It was made by noz3r0. http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/684080-kingdom-hearts-hd-15-remix/faqs/67842 All that being said, let's talk about Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix The trophies for this game are not that easy (no thanks to the fact that they're difficulty trophies that for some stupid reason don't stack), but unlike Re: CoM, this game is fun to play (granted a pain in the @$$, espeically on Proud). This game also has the most trophies out of all of the game's featured in this collections, boasting a total of 56 trophies (55 if you don't count the Platinum). All that said... You'll be starting your 1st 2 playthroughs on either Normal/Standard (Final Mix) or Proud, depending on how confidante you are in your ability to play this game (I plan on doing Proud 1st, but I have only played the game on Beginner in this version before and I raged quit on Normal in the orginal PS2 version, so this should be really interesting). Once you've beaten the game on either Normal or Proud, you'll be playing the game on the difficulty you didn't play the 1st time. The reason for all this is that when you eventually chase after the "Speedster" trophy, you'll have an idea of what to do, where to go and how you're suppose to beat the bosses. If you've gotten the said trophy during your Normal or Proud playthrough however, then you won't need to worry about getting it during your Beginner playthrough. Speaking of which, you could also do your 1st playthrough on the said difficulty if you want, but I would save that for either your Kingdom Key only or 100% playthrough. You don't have to fulfill the condtions of the special endings, just beat the game (unless your playing on Proud with one of the endings, in which case you don't have a choice since your forced to do just that). If you want to however, then go for them. When you get done with your Normal and Proud playthroughs, you're going to go for "Unchanging Armor" on Beginner if you haven't already done it on Normal or Proud (neither diffculty of which I advice using, as the lack of strength of the Kingdom Key will catch up to you sooner or later). You may end up getting "Speedster" during this if you're quick enough, but if not, you can either go for it in your next playthrough or save it for later. At some point, you're going to want to do a 100% run and that means doing all of the optional bosses, finding all of the Dalmatians, creating all the items in the item creation list, killing the rare heartless and so on. Even though, you may have already gotten certain trophies during your Normal, Proud and maybe even the Kingdom Key only runs, but in order to unlock certain trophies, you may have to do them again. Reguardless, once you've done everything else and maybe even beaten the game for the 4th time, you've pretty much beaten this game to the point where you've 100% the trophy list for this game. If you still have "Speedster" to go however, you'll be going after that trophy next. Once you've beaten the game fast enough to unlock this, you're done with the game for real (as far as the Trophy list goes). Their seems to be a glitch with "Speedster" however. Don't worry about this glitch though, that trophy's gltiched in a good way. Refer to the said trophy's Glitch Note for more details (unless you rather get it legit). Next up, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories Like Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, this game's trophies are not easy either. Unlike Kingdom Hearts 1 however *recasts Anti-Flame*, this game is not a good one at all. We're not helped out by fact that this game will take a total of 6 playthroughs to 100% because the difficulty trophies don't stack. On top of that, you need to 100% Days at some point, just to get "Card Master Sora". There is one good thing about this game though: Out of all of the games featured in this collection, this game has the fewest trophies to offer, boasting a total of 46 trophies (45 without the Platinum).* This one's going to take the most of your time, reguardless if the difficulies stack or not (which is only part of why I would go with Re: CoM 1st). That said, boot up this game (if you even choose to play it, which is most likely part of the reason why you're looking this guide to begin with) and let's get started. *Unless you count this version of 358/2 Days as a game, in which case, it's only in the middle as far as the number of trophies goes, but you have to take into consideration the fact that Re: CoM is a playable title while Days is not. You're only option when you 1st start up this game is to play as Sora, so you're going to do just that on either Normal or Proud (depending on you're ablility to play this game). I would start things off on Proud just to get it out of the way personally, but if you rather do it on Normal, don't let me be the one to stop you. When you've manage to do that, Riku's Story (Reverse/Rebirth) will open up. They're multiple ways to go through the game after that, but here's what I would do: 1. Playthrough the game as Sora again, but this time on either Normal or Proud (depending on which difficulty you didn't pick the 1st time). 2. Playthrough the game as Riku on Proud (just to get it over with) or Normal if you're not up to it yet. You could also do this step on Beginner if you want, but I don't advise it yet. 3. Do the game as Riku again, but on the difficulty you didn't pick the 1st time (be it on Proud or Normal). 4. Play the game as Riku one last time on Beginner. You'll be going after Riku's level 99 trophy if you didn't already unlock it on either Normal or Proud. If you did, you're only focus is to beat the game for the 3rd and final time as Riku. Make sure you hang on to his clear save file (make it a sperate save if you feel like you have to). 5. You'll be taking a break from this game to focus on 100%-ing 358/2 Days. Depending on how much you care about this series' story, this can take anywhere between (not even) 30 minutes to quite a few hours (you're looking at 2 hours (give or take) just from the cut-scenes alone). Refer to the details for that game and/or the trophies for that game in act 6 for more info. 6. You'll then be playing the game one last time as Sora on Beginner. In this playthrough, you'll be going for 100% (that means collecting all of Sora's Cards) and getting his level 99 trophy. 7. You should unlock the Platinum trophy for this game at this point. If you do, congrates on your 100% completion of this (not so great) game. If you're not sure on how you should build your deck as Sora, here's a guide to teach you how to just that below. It was made by Thestalos_07. www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/954016-kingdom-hearts-rechain-of-memories/faqs/53474 Note: Assumes that your playing the PS2 version of the game. If you perfer visual assistance, here's a Youtube video to explain on how to effectively use your cards in a stituation where you have to fight. How to Effectively use your Cards in Combat by Everglow8444 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYLd0CzD9z8 Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version. Finally, let's talk about Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days Not much to say about this. After all, as mentioned before, this game's nothing more than a bunch of cutscenes remade with HD graphics (or at least as far as this version's concerned). Because of this however, you're looking at an easy trophy list. Speaking of which, this game has the fewest trophies out of this game's collection, boasting a total of 6 trophies (unless you don't count this version of Days as a game, 5 without the "358/2 Days Master" trophy if you do). That said, all you'll be doing is watching the HD cutscenes, reading Roaxs' Diary and the Secret Reports (the 1st 2 not necessarily in that order) and you're done with this "game". If you have yet to start Re: CoM at this point, now might not be a bad time to do so (unless you plan on doing Kingdom Hearts 1 next). If you have started it, but was unable to 100% it because of "Card Master Sora", then you should be able to 100% that game now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Act 4: Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Trophies and How to unlock them - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Novice Player Description: Clear Final Mix on Beginner Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, but you need to put the game on Final Mix: Beginner (which will be refered to as just Beginner from this point on) in order to unlock this (difficulty Trophies don't stack for some stupid reason in case you didn't bother reading the Details portion of this guide and/or you forgot). Anyway, this difficulty setting was designed for those who are having a Hard time beating the Final Mix setting (which will be refered to as Standard or Normal). However, this difficulty setting is ideal for the "Unchanging Armor" Trophy and for doing a 100% Playthrough (refer to the Trophy itself for details with the former). Besides "Unchanging Armor", their are 2 other Trophies you could try for on Beginner if you had no luck on Normal or Final Mix: Proud (which will be refered to as just Proud): Speedster and Undefeated. When you pick this difficulty setting, you start things off with the following accessories equiped on Sora (the series' main Hero): A. EXP Necklace (Ups the amount of experience gained by 30%) B. Ribbon (Gives the wearer 20% resistence to all elements and a +3 in Defence) Having these equiped will not effect you're ability to get the "Unchanging Armor" Trophy. You also get the following items in your inventory: A. 8x Power Up B. 8x Guard Up C. 4x AP Up The former 2 will give you a boost in Sora's Strength and Defence respectivly, making up for the fact that you can't swap Sora's Kingdom Keyblade out for another (refer to "Unchanging Armor" to know what I'm talking about) and the 3rd... I guess it'll give you more AP start off with or you can sell it for Munny (the series' general form of currency). Anyway, some suggestions on to set up Sora on Beginner: As far as what to weapon to have and give up: Before I go into that, I think I better tell you what each of the weapons do in case you don't know or need a reminder: A. Sword In-Game Description: The power of the warrior. Invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction. What stat it enchances: Strength B. Sheild In-Game Description: The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all. What stat it enchances: Defence C. Rod/Staff In-Game Description: The power of the mystic. Inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. What stat it enchances: MP (Magic Points) That being said, what you should pick and give up depends on what type of playthrough you're doing and/or trophies you're going after on Beginner: If you're going for "Unchanging Armor" (like I suggested): I would pick the Shield for the extra Defence. What you give up is up to you, but I would give up the Rod so you can hit slightly harder. You may also want to use this combo if you want a better shot at the "Undefeated" and (maybe) "Speedster" trophies (refer to the trophies itself to know what I mean by it). If you're going to do a 100% Playthrough: I would pick the Rod so I would have more MP to play with when I go after the White Mushrooms. What you give up is up to you. As for how fast you should level up: I should explain this one as well, just in case you don't know or need/want a reminder how this is determined. At some point during the Tutorial, you'll find Sora in his home world (Destiny Islands) and you'll meet 3 characters from the Final Fantasy series. Each of the 3 will ask Sora (you) a question. Here's a chart for what they ask and the possible answers you can give them: /-------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Character - Question | Answer | |-----------------------------------------+-------------------------| | | 1. Getting Old | | Tidus - "What are you so afraid of?" | 2. Being different | | | 3. Being indecisive | |-----------------------------------------+-------------------------| | | 1. To see rare sights | | Wakka - "What do you want outta life?" |2. To broaden my horizons| | | 3. To be strong | |-----------------------------------------+-------------------------| | | 1. Being number one | |Selphie - "What's most important to you?"| 2. Friendship | | | 3. My prize possessions | \-----------------------------------------+-------------------------/ The top answers lean towards Dawn, while the middle ones lean towards Midday and the bottom ones lean towards Dusk. What each of the 3 do: look below. Dawn - It basicly lets you level up at a fast rate until level 40. After level 40, it'll require more and more EXP to level up. Will take the most EXP to level up to 100. Midday - Makes you level up at the same rate from level 1 to level 100. It's not very fast, but it's not Dawn slow (especially when you past level 40). Won't take as long to level up to 100 compaired to Dawn. Dusk - In the begining, it'll require a lot of EXP to level up. When you past level 40 however, you'll be leveling up at a much faster rate then normal. Will take the fewest amount of EXP to level up to 100, but you're still looking at a lot of EXP to get to 100. If you want to level up fast in the begining: Level up at Dawn by choosing the top answers. If you want to level up fast towards the end: Level up at Dusk by choosing the bottom answers. If you want level up the way the Old School RPGs did: Level up at Midday by choosing the middle answers. As for the rate you should level, that again depends on what you plan on doing during you're playthrough on beginner: If you're going for 100%: I would level up Dusk so you can get to level 100 sooner. If you're going for "Unchanging Armor" and/or "Speedster": I would pick Dawn (especially if you chose the Shield as you're weapon, see "Proud Player" for details). Refer to details portion of this guide if you need a walkthrough for this game at some point in the game and/or if you're having trouble with it. That was a lot of reading and I'm sorry for that, but I wanted to get that out of the way, so people don't start e-mailing or messaging me over Xbox Live or PSN about how this or that works and that's assuming not a lot of people don't know this or that works. 2. Unchanging Armor Description: Clear the game without changing equipment Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this one, you need to beat the game while using Sora's default gear. This also applies to Donald and Goofy (Sora's allies). Here's what each of the 3 characters start off with that you can't change out at any point during the game: Sora - Kingdom Key (He's like a Warrior) Donald - Mage's Staff (He's like a Mage) Goofy - Knight's Shield (He's like a Guardian) Sora will also be wearing the EXP Chain and Ribbion if you chose Beginner when choosing you're difficulty, which I would highly recomend since on Normal and Proud the lack of strength the Kingdom Key has will start to catch up with Sora about halfway through the game and you get 8 Power and Guard ups to beef up Sora somewhat. Anyway, in the Tutorial you do get to choose between the Dream Sword, Shield and Rod/Staff and he'll be using that until he wakes up at Destiny Island where he has a Wooden Sword. Due to a event earily on Hollow Bastion, he'll be forced to use the Wooden Sword until he runs into Riku (one of Sora's friends he's trying to rescue). Neither of these situations will cause you to forfit this Trophy, so don't have a panic attack when they happen. I'm not sure if you can get away with changing the accessories you're characters are wearing, so just to be safe, I wouldn't do it. You'll end up unlocking this when you beat the game, along with the difficulty trophy you were playing on at the time (if you haven't already unlocked it and Beginner is recommend). 3. Undefeated Description: Clear the game without using a continue Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This basicly means that you have to beat the game without dying, though their is a way around it. If you do die at any point, you'll be taken to the Game Over screen where Sora's floating in the air with his Heart floating above him. You'll be given two options being Continue and Load Game. If you choose "Continue", you'll be taken back to the last Auto Save (to sort of speak) and start from their. If you choose "Load Game" you'll choose which Save to reload and start from that Save point. Choosing "Continue" will cause you to forfit this Trophy, but choosing "Load Game" won't, so if you die at anytime, choose "Load Game" and reload you're save. This is easiest done on Beginner, but it is do-able on Normal and Proud if you're skilled enough. 4. Where the Bells Toll Description: Seal the keyhole in Traverse Town Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed. Unless otherwise noted, you have to beat a certain boss in order to seal a Keyhole. Also, Sora will be wear his starting clothes, Donald will be in an Mage's outfit and Goofy will be wearing his Guardian outfit (I guess) unless noted otherwise. Anyway, although you run into this town after Destiny Island, you won't be able to seal this keyhole until the point you run into Riku on your 2nd revisit to this Town. The boss you run into the 1st time here is the Guard Armor. On you're 2nd visit, you'll have to fight the Opposite Armor. 5. The Rabbit Hole Description: Seal the Keyhole of Wonderland Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed. You'll unlock this when you beat the Trickmaster. 6. Junior Hero Description: Seal the keyhole in Olympus Coliseum Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, but it can be missed if you don't win the Hercules Cup to unlock the means to seal it (read on to know what I'm talking about or refer to "Hero of the Coliseum" for more details). When you 1st enter this world and enter the Coliseum, Phil will want you to move a block into the lobby of the coliseum, but you won't any luck moving it. It'll have the yellow Trinity Mark and you get this Trinity Mark when you beat the Hercules Cup (which isn't unlocked until you sealed the Keyhole in Neverland and unlock "Pixie Dust" (refer to "Best Friend" for more info on this and other Trinity Marks)). I'll tell you right now that moving that block out of the way will reveal a Keyhole that you need to seal, but like I said, you need to beat the Hercules Cup 1st to unlock the yellow Trinity Mark needed to move the block. By the way, the boss of this world is Cerberus. 7. Member of the Tribe Description: Seal the keyhole in Deep Jungle Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed. Although you would need to beat the boss here, it doesn't automaticly seal the Keyhole here. You would have to do a little platforming to get to the Keyhole that's here. The boss you have to beat here is Clayton & the Stealth Sneak. 8. Magic Lamp Description: Seal the keyhole in Agrabah Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed. The bosses you need to beat here are the Pot Centipede, Normal Jafar and Genie Jafar. 9. Honest Soul Description: Escape from Monstro Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, so it (apparently) can't be missed. At some point, you may run into Monstro on your Gummi Ship (your means of transport for traveling from one world to another) and when you do, he'll eat your ship. I've heard and read this is unavoidable, but I'm 100% sure if the Monstro attack can be avoided somehow. However, if you're going for a 100% run, then if this can be missed, then it shouldn't be an issue since you have to go in there anyway. That said, you need to beat the Parasite Cage 2 times in order to escape. 10. Master of the Seas Description: Seal the keyhole in Atlantica Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, but it can be missed if you choose to go to Halloween Town instead of Atlantica and not bother coming back here (you need to do one or the other in order to advance the story). Anyway, you will need to beat Ursula twice in order to seal this world's Keyhole. Sora will be turned into a Mermaid (or Merman (if that's the correct way of saying it) since he's a guy), Donald will be turned into a Octopuss and Goofy will be a Turtle for this world. 11. Pumpkin Prince Description: Seal the keyhole in Halloween Town Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, but it can be missed if you choose to go to Atlantica instead of Halloween Town and not bother coming back here. However, it has been suggested by PS3trophies.org that you go here for the "Speedster" Trophy, so that's not likely if you follow the advice of that guide. Anyway, you have to beat the Oogie Boogie and the Oogie Boogie Manor bosses to seal this world's Keyhole. Sora will be wearing some kind of costume (not sure what he's suppose to look like, a Warewolf if I had to guess), Donald will be a Mummy and Goofy looks like he's a Scarecrow. 12. Pixie Dust Description: Seal the keyhole in Never Land Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed. You have to beat the Anti-Sora and Captain Hook bosses to seal this world Keyhole. 13. Pooh’s Friend Description: Seal the keyhole in 100 Acre Wood Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-related, but it can be missed if you don't visit this world at all, let alone find all the missing pages for this world (read on to know what I'm talking about). During your 2nd visit to Traverse Town, Merlin will give you view a book that lets you visit this world. Anyway, when you enter this world, you'll run into Winnie the Pooh, who tells you to follow him to his house. When you do so however, Owl will show up saying that 5 pages of this world are missing and he wants you to find them if you "want to know what happens next". Here are the locations of the 5 missing pages below: A. Agrabah - It'll be in a Treasure Cheast in the Dark Chamber portion of the Cave of Wonders. B. Monstro - It'll be on one of the high platforms in "Chamber 6". You need the Glide ablility to get it though. C. Atlantica - It'll be on one of the shelves in the Undersea Gorge. D. Halloween Town - It'll be on a bookshelf in the Research Lab E. Traverse Town - You'll get this as a Reward after finding 51 of the 99 Dalmatians and returning them to the Dalmatians' house. Each Torn page that you obtain will make you play a mini-game when you return them to the book. You just need to beat the mini-game in order to advance this worlds' story. It'll unlock itself after doing your 5th and final mini-game of this world. 14. Record Keeper Description: Collect all Jiminy's Journal entries Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to complete every entry in Jiminy's Journal (like the desription suggests). I would suggest you refer to the following trophies below for what entries you need to collect, as fullfilling the condtions of all those trophies is pretty much what you need to do here. A. Storyteller B. Searcher C. Professor D. Top Dog E. Best Friend F. Mini-game Maniac This will unlock itself along side the trophy you've haven't gotten at that point in time. 15. Storyteller Description: Collect all Story entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bonze Guide: For this one, you need to complete what's known as the Chronicles section of Jiminy's Journal. This essentially means that you need to seal all of the world's keyholes. They're 3 worlds that you would need to go out of your way for if you skipped them through out you're playthrough: A. Atlantica/Halloween Town (Depending on where you decided to go to advance the story) B. Olympus Coliseum (though, it can't be skipped completely as I found out when I was playing this on my brother-in-law's PS3 (unless you went to Atlantica) C. 100 Acre Wood Once you've gotten your final entry for this section of the Journal, it'll unlock itself. 16. Searcher Description: Collect all Ansem Reports in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description of this trophy suggests, you need to find all of the Ansem Reports to fill this section of the Journal. A lot of them are found as part of the story, but you need to go out of your way for a few of them. They're 13 Ansem reports in all, 3 of which are Final Mix exclusive. Here's how you unlock a portion of the Ansem Reports below: A. Report 1 - Defeat Jafar Genie in Agrabah B. Report 2 - Received from Aerith in the Hollow Bastion Libary after sealing Hollow Bastion's Keyhole C. Report 3 - Defeat Ursula in Atlantica D. Report 4 - Received from Aerith in the Hollow Bastion Libary after sealing Hollow Bastion's Keyhole E. Report 5 - Defeat Maleficent in Hollow Bastion F. Report 12 - Defeat the optional boss Sephiroth in Olympus Coliseum M. Report 13 - Defeat the optional boss Unknown in Hollow Bastion Once you've gotten your last Ansem Report for this section of the Journal, it'll unlock itself. 17. Professor Description: Collect all Character entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to complete the Characters section of Jiminy's Journal (like the description suggests). This section consisits of the Main and Side Characters, all of the Bosses (optional or otherwise) and even all of the Heartless that are roaming around all of the worlds in this game. The only ones you really need to go out of you're way for are the optional bosses and the rare Final Mix exclusive Heartless. For the Optional Bosses, the only thing I can tell you is to refer to "He Who Doesn’t Exist", "The Cloaked Shadow", "The Sandy Blade", "The Frosty Giant" and "One-Winged Angel" for details on how to get those entries. As for the rare Final Mix Exclusive Heartless, here are the locations of the said Heartless below: A. Gigant Shadow - Wonderland B. Stealth Soldier - Hollow Bastion C. Black Ballade - Deep Jungle D. Sniper Wild - Traverse Town E. Pot Scorpion - Agrabah F. Grand Ghost - Monstro G. Chimaera - Halloween Town H. Jet Balloon - Neverland I. Neo Shadow - End of the World J. Pink Agaricus - Deep Jungle (also known to be found in Atlantica) Here's a Youtube video showing you the locations of the Rare Heartless, if you're having trouble finding them. It was made by EmiruHD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD9QEzEQLtI Note: This video also tells you what Materials you can get from the rare Heartless when going after the "Synthesis Master" Trophy. If you want to be able to get 100 Hits on the Pink Agaricus (in an effort to get more meterials for the "Synthesis Master" Trophy, refer to the said trophy for details), then take a look at this Youtube video. It was made by Sonicshadowsilver2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVAf3jG0xCk Once you've gotten your final character for this section of the Journal, it'll unlock itself. 18. Top Dog Description: Collect all 101 Dalmatian entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Dispite what the description says, you actually need to find 99 Dalmatians and return them to the Dalmatian house. You 1st run into this quest when you enter the said house. All of the Dalmatians are found in groups of 3, so if it says you have (let's say) 6 Dalmatians left to find in (let's say) Deep Jungle, that means they're 2 chests you need to find in that world. It would be best if you wait until you have all the Trinity Commands and any and all abilities you think you'll end up needing before going after this trophy. After you've reached certain milestones, you'll get a thank you gift when you stop by the Dalmatian house and drop off the Dalmatians at the said house (though, at this time I don't know exactly what those rewards are as of yet). Here's a link to all of the Puppies in various worlds below. It was made by the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Puppies If you perfer visual assistance, here's a Youtube video below. It was made by Cyberman65. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yed4aGaBY0k Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. 19. Best Friend Description: Collect all Trinity List entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: After running into Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town and making your way to Cid's Accessory Shop, you'll notice a Green Mark on the floor. These are known as Trinity Marks and they're all over the game's worlds. Here's a list of all of the Trinity Ablilities you need to obtain to order to even attempt to find all of the Marks. Trinity Jump (Blue): Learned after beating the Guard Armor Boss in Traverse Town. Trinity Charge (Red): Learned after sealing Deep Jungle's Keyhole. Trinity Ladder (Green): Learned after sealing Agrabah's Keyhole. Trinity Push (Yellow): Learned after beating the Hercules Cup as a group (refer to "Hero of the Coliseum" for details). Trinity Detect (White): Learned after beating Riku at Hollow Bastion. In order to activate a Trinity Mark, Donald and Goofy have to be in Sora's Active Party. This isn't an issue for worlds like Traverse Town and Wonderland, but in other worlds where you can switch one or the other out for the world's main character like Jack Skellington in Halloween Town and Aladdin in Agrabah, you don't want to do that if you want to activate a Trinity Mark (though, it's not like you can't switch them back out, should the need arise). Here's a Youtube video for the Trinity Mark Locations below. It was made by Cyberman65. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO0SEh22o2U Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version. 20. Mini-game Maniac Description: Collect all Mini-game entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You need to find and Complete all of the Mini-games to fill the entries of that section of the Journal. You'll play a good majoriy of them rather you realize it or not. Assuming that you've played all of the other mini-games and beaten all of the cups at the Olympus Coliseum. You'll have these 2 left to go. A. Jungle Slider B. Vine Swinging Both of these take place in the Deep Jungle world. You may end up playing the former your 1st time through, but go through it prior (or even after) sealing the keyhole here, it'll have fruit their and you have to collect them and go down various routes. I'm going to quote the trophy guide on PS3trophies.org for how Vine Swinging is triggered. Vine Swinging can be triggered when you go up the first vines in Hippo's Lagoon, there will be a flower bud on the ground which interacting with will trigger the minigame and at this point unlock your trophy. 21. Synthesis Master Description: Synthesize all items Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: There's a lot of info here, so expect a lot of reading. Anyway, they're a total of 33 items to Synthesize in all. You get you're 1st chance to do any Synthesizing when you enter the Moogle Shop (which is done by obtaining Trinity Ladder (which is done by sealing the Keyhole in Agrabah) Trinity ability). Once you make it to the shop, you'll be able to create 6 out of the 33 items on the list (the 1st 6 to be specific). Ultima Weapon: Thunder Gem x5, Mystery Goo x5, Serenity Power x3, Stormy Stone x3, Dark Matter x3 All in all, the minimal amount materials need to make all 33 items are as follows (and as taken from noz3r0 walkthrough): Shards: Blaze Shard x12 Bright Shard x13 Frost Shard x10 Lucid Shard x19 Mythril Shard x12 Power Shard x13 Spirit Shard x13 Thunder Shard x12 Gems: Blaze Gem x10 Bright Gem x8 Frost Gem x10 Lucid Gem x10 Power Gem x7 Spirit Gem x7 Thunder Gem x15 Crystals: Bright Crystal x4 Lucid Crystal x9 Power Crystal x3 Spirit Crystal x3 Stones: Blazing Stone x7 Dazzling Stone x6 Energy Stone x6 Frost Stone x7 Fury Stone x5 Lightning Stone x5 Mythril Stone x8 Power Stone x5 Stormy Stone x4 Others: Dark Matter x14 Gale x4 Mystery Goo x10 Mythril x13 Orichalcum x19 Serenity Power x7 Equiping Lucky Strike* with everyone can and will make collecting the Materials much easier, but when it comes to Dark Matter and Mythril, it's unlikly you'll get the ammount need to make certain items, but you can make more of them, should the need arise. However, to minimize the amount of grinding for both of the mentioned Materials, here are the known locations of Dark Matter and Mythril respectivly (as taken from PS3trophies.org's trophy guide): Dark Matter: Wonderland - Tea Party Place Agrabah - Main Street Monstro - Stomach 6 (White Trinity) Halloween Town - Graveyard 2 Neverland - Pirate Ship's Hold 4 (Yellow Trinity) 100 Acre Wood - Tigger's Playground Hollow Bastion - Underground Waterway 1 and Great Hall End of the World - Giant Crevasse Dark Matter can also be won as a prize at the Olympus Coliseum and the Jungle Slider mini-game (depend on the route you take with the latter). I'm not sure about Donald and Goofy. I want to say level 55 with Donald and level 27 with Goofy, as that was the case in the Original, but I'm not if that also applies to Final Mix version as well. This will unlock itself when you've created your 33rd and final item (be it Fantasista, Seven Elements or Ultima Weapon). 22. A lot of the Blueprints are found in the middle of various routes and some of them can be obtained by talking to Gepetto at his house in Traverse Town after passing certain milestones (such as (but is not limited to) defeating a certain amount of Heartless). You need to Escape Monstro in order for Gepetto to be in Traverse Town though. The only ones you really need to worry about are the Final Mix exclusive Blueprints, which requires you to beat Mission 3 in all of the routes (which also unlocks the "Test Pilot", "Veteran Pilot" and "Ace Pilot" (and maybe even "Top Gun" if you haven't already unlocked it). Here's a link to the list of all of the Blueprints you have to unlock below. It was made by the Kingdom Hearts wiki. kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Gummi_Ship_Blueprints_(Kingdom_Hearts) If you want some in-depth info on completing all of the Gummi Missions, refer to this link below. You'll get a good majority of them as part of the game's story, but there are a few you have to go out of your way for. Here's a list of all of the Keyblades Sora can equip in the game and how they can be obtained below (as taken from the Trophy Guide at PS3trophies.org with minor add-ons and edits): A. Master Magician Description: Obtain all Staffs Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this Trophy, you need to find and collect all 15 of Donald's Staffs. You can buy a good majority of them with Munny, but there are a few that you actually have to find. Here's a list of all of the Staffs Donald can equip in the game and how they can be obtained below (as taken from the Trophy Guide at PS3trophies.org with minor add-ons and edits): A. Agrabah: Treasure Room F. Wonderland: Lotus Forest For the Seven Elements shield, I've already mentioned what Materials you need for this weapon in "Synthesis Master", but here it is again below: 3x Blazing Stone 3x Frost Stone 3x Lightning Stone 5x Shiny Stone 35. Final Mix Master Description: Clear Final Mix Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Story-Related, but you need to put the game on Final Mix in order to unlock this. This difficulty setting was designed for those who new to the Kingdom Hearts series. If you've played the original PS2 version of the game, you'll know how the game doesn't like to mess around, even on Normal (I should know, I pretty much raged quit at the Guard Armor boss). However, Square decided to rebalance this difficulty to the point where it's a bit more forgiving then the non-Final Mix PS2 counterpart. Compaired to Beginner, this is what you'll be looking forward to: A. Gummi Ship takes 2x damage B. Your damage output is decreased by 1/3 If you want to get some extra scenes after beating the game on this difficulty setting (Another Side, Another Story and Deep Dive) you'll have to fullfil the conditions below: A. Complete all of the game's worlds B. Find and return all 99 Dalmatians C. Fill all of the Entries of Jiminy's Journal* *The marked condition applies to the Deep Dive extra scene. The ones without the mark apply to Another Side, Another Story. What you choose and get rid of and how fast you should level is up to you on this one, though, if your not sure of which weapon you should pick, you can't go too wrong with choosing the Shield as your weapon. 36. Proud Player Description: Clear Final Mix on Proud Trophy Color: Gold Guide: The actual description to this has an extra "s" in the end of Proud, but I think that's the goof on the Translater's part. Anyway, a lot of info going on here, so expect a lot of reading. This ones story-Related, but you need to put the game on Final Mix: Proud in order to unlock this. This difficulty setting was designed for those who are experts in the game. Pretty much like the Original PS2 version's Expert, except it's suppose to be much Harder (from what I've read). Compaired to Beginner and in addtion to what Normal's already doing, this is what you'll also be looking forward to: A. Gummi Ship attacks will deal half the damage it would normally do. If you want to get some extra scenes after beating the game on this difficulty setting (Another Side, Another Story and Deep Dive) you'll have to fullfil the conditions below: A. Beat the game (pretty much) B. Complete all of the game's worlds* C. Complete the Hades Cup* *The marked conditions applies to the Deep Dive extra scene. The one without the mark apply to Another Side, Another Story. As far as what to weapon to have and give up: I would take in the Shield and give up the Rod/Staff. The reason for taking the Shield is that it'll give a boost in your Defence and unlock the following Abilities at levels earilier than you would have if you've picked either the Sword or the Rod/Staff: Ability Name (level you acquire it with Shield/Sword/Rod) Leaf Bracer (27/69/39) Second Chance (36/48/90) Leaf Bracer will make sure that you don't get interrupted while you're trying to heal yourself and Second Chance will allow you to stay alive with 1 HP left. Combining these two with the Cure can and will save you (and possibly your sanity) on quite a few occasions. Giving up the Rod will weaken your Magic long term, but your main spells will be Cure and Aero, so it won't matter that much. Plus it's not like you can't recharge your MP with a good chain of attacks. Ditching the Rod/Staff will also weaken Donald's Magic as well, but he'll get KO'ed constantly, so it won't matter that much either. The Guard ability (which is unlocked at level 15 with the Shield, 24 with the Sword and 33 with the Rod/Staff) from what I read will also help you out as it gives you a wider window to deflect attacks and put your foes (such as bosses) in a longer stun then you are from the Guard (although, teching most attacks will also work, the stun is apparently not as long as it would be from Guard). The Dodge Roll ability (which is unlocked when you join up with Donald and Goofy) from what I've read is not only good for traveling from one place to another really quickly, but when timed right, it'll let you get out of the way of a lot of attacks that you otherwise wouldn't be able to avoid. As far as how fast you should level up: I would highly suggest that you go with the Dawn, so you can get your hands on these ablilites sooner or Midday if you want to get the HD Remix exclusive ability "Combo Master" a bit sooner (though, you might not even reach level 55 (the level this ability's unlocked) on your Proud playthrough at all). What "Combo Master" does is that it'll basicly allow you to finish your combo even if you somehow miss one of your swings. With Sora's apparent short range, it sounds like it would be useful. I would suggest that you get used to Solo Fighting, because you'll most likely be doing a lot of. What I mean by this is that... Remember when I said that Donald will be dying a lot? Well... This also applies to Goofy and various allies as well. After a certain amount of time has past however (80 seconds with Donald, 60 with Goofy and varies with other allies) they'll come back with some of health restored (unless they have Second Wind equiped, in which case they come back with full health). However, just keep all of the Potions and Cures for yourself, as you'll need them more than Donald & Goofy ever will (at least for a good while). I would also suggest that you get the Tinkerbell Summon ASAP. When you summon her, she'll restore you and your party member's health every so offen. Since your allies will be droping like a flies, she'll be healing you more offen then not. Combine this with Leaf Bracer (which prevents foes from interupting your Cure spell), Second Chance (which keeps your HP at 1) and the Cure spell, you'll be pretty much impossible to kill (provided you're not too reckless). You could also use the Leaf Bracer+Second Chance+Cure+Tinkerbell combo for when your doing your No Death and/or Kingdom Key only run if you have to. Their is a catch with this summon however: If you get hit before you get a chance to heal yourself and you were at 1 HP at the time (assuming that you have Second Chance equiped of course), then she'll completely restore your health and leave you for the rest of the battle. I would suggest that you use this summon during the Major Boss battles though. You get this summon after completing Neverland by the way. The bosses that you have to beat at the end of the game are Ansem 1, Darkside, Ansem 2 and World of Chaos. Note: On Proud, their's ability that unlocks itself when you start the game (pretty much) and it's the "EXP Zero". This ability pretty much prevents you from getting any EXP at all. I'm not sure why Square thought it would be a good idea to include this ability in this game, because you want to make sure that gain EXP throughout your Proud playthrough, not pretty much avoid them. Althrough, I did see a series of Youtube videos demostrating how bosses can be beaten at level 1. Anyway, it also down grades the amount of damage do to you and lowers the amount of health they have to your level in order to pretty much compensate for the fact that you can't level up past level 1. I guess that's fair since normally you would get your rear end handed to you in one hit at level 1 otherwise. However, the latter is only true for bosses and not for the other 99% of the game's foes (pretty much), so going for a level 1 game on Proud (which for some stupid reason is the only difficulty this ability's on) is pretty much a suicide run on your sanity. 37. Speedster Description: Defeat the World of Chaos in the End of the World within 15 hours Trophy Color: Gold Guide: This trophy basicly wants you to beat the game in under 15 hours (like the description suggests). It can be done on any difficulty setting, but I suggest Beginner, so you have an easier time this (though, if your skilled enough, it can be done on Normal and/or Proud). I have read that it can be beaten in 10-14 hours (if one were to run through the game's storyline) and I've seen it done in under 3 hours on Beginner, so it's not as hard as it sounds. Some things to keep in mind though: A. Your better off just running away from Heartless battles then you are just fighting them (unless you find yourself in a situation where you can't move on with the story otherwise, in which case, feel free to fight back). Try not to worry about your levels being low, as the forced fights on higher worlds will make up for it. This mostly applies to Beginner, but you could (in theory) apply this to Normal and Proud as well. B. As stated before, you can skip either Atlantica or Halloween Town to advance the story. It has been suggested on the Trophy guide on PS3trophies.org that you skip Atlantica though (if you choose to skip one of the worlds anyway), but it's up to you if you want to skip Halloween Town instead or even do both worlds. C. The in-game timer is moving all the time even if you hit the Start button or even the xmb button (the PS3's version of the Xbox's Guide button), so if you need to take care of something in your life, save your game (at the closest save point) and pick up where you left off when you find time to play again. D. In continuation with C, cutscenes don't add on to your timer, so in theory, you could leave the game paused in a cutscene if you need to take care of something real quick (like go to the bathroom). However, if you want to get the game over with ASAP, hit start and select "Skip Scene". E. If by a stroke of bad luck you hit over 15 hours and you're not at the final bosses yet (or in theory during the bosses), there's still hope in you getting this. Don't read the "Glitch Note" if you rather get it legit, because it involves a use of a glitch. As stated before, it'll unlock itself if you've beaten the game in under 15 hours. For those who are interested and as a point of reference, I was playing this game on my Brother-in-law's PS3 at the time and I was about 15 minutes over the 14 hour mark when I got to (but not past) the point of no return and I was having a hard time in a lot of spots, so it's completely do-able even if you don't know what your doing that well. Of course, this was based on my experence on the Beginner setting, but still. Glitch Note: This trophy is glitched, but in a good way. When the timer hits 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds (which if I did my math right is 4 days, 3 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds), the timer will turn reset to 0:00:00 and change the color from blue to green. This apparently was suppose to let you know you've reached over 100 hours of play time. When you beat the boss with the timer saying (for example) 0:20:00 however, the game doesn't check to see if you had at least 100 hours in and believes that you've beaten the game in that time and rewards you the trophy. In short, if you already past the 15 hour time limit and you wait long enough (doing a 100% run helps out with this) and take on the final bosses when the timer resets itself, just hurry up and beat the bosses before the 15 hour time limit runs out again. 38. He Who Doesn’t Exist Description: Defeat the Mysterious Man in Hollow Bastion Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Unless mentioned otherwise, you have to seal the keyhole in Hollow Bastion in order to access any of these bosses. For this one, make sure you have some kind of Cure and Aero spell and even Graviga for this boss. While this optional boss (known as Unknown) is not affected by Graviga in the way the spell's suppose to work, it will bring him to his knees, allowing you to attack him freely for a bit. At the start, summon Tinkerbell and cast Aeroga on yourself (assuming that you have the higher level versions of the spells mentioned before of course. If not, use whatever version of Aero you got). When and if you get close to him, he'll cast Mirror Wall to protect himself and attack you through it when you're stunned. That's all the real advice I can give you other than telling you to refer to the walkthrough I gave you in the details portion of this guide. Of course, if you're at a really high level, then feel free to attack him with reckless abandonment (unless your on a difficulty setting other than Beginner, then forget I said that). If you feel like you need visual assistance, here's a link to a Youtube video below. It was made by EmiruHD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uDTsoSDSRY 39. The Cloaked Shadow Description: Defeat the Phantom at the Clock Tower Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Phantom appears at the Clock Tower (like the Description suggests) in Neverland. Make sure that you have the following on you and your allies before you take on this boss: A. Peter Pan's in your party (the boss fight will not trigger otherwise). B. All the MP healing items you can carry (Ethers, Elixirs, etc.) C. A variation of the Fire, Blizzard and Thunder spells in your Magic Shortcuts menu. You could also have a variation of the Stop spell in your Magic Shortcut menu if you rather do that instead. When that's done, talk to Tinkerbell (the NPC version, not the Summon version) and you'll be teleported to the Clock Tower. Upon starting the fight, head straight for the clock and lock on to the hands of the clock (don't be picky on which one it is; they're all connected) and cast Stop on it. After you do that, the clock will countdown the death of one of your party members (one by one, leading up to you) and once they're down, they can't be brought back (you can revive them in this fight). For this reason, it won't be a bad idea to cast stop on the clocks every now and then. As for how to beat the boss itself, it can only be hit by any of the spells mentioned before and melee attacks (depending on what the color of the orb below him looks like): Red - Fire Blue - Blizzard Yellow - Thunder White - Melee Attack 3 hits with any of the 4 above and his orb will break and he'll counterattack by either trying to claw you or casting an energy ball. If it's the latter, hide on the other side of the clock tower and either cast Stop or use a MP restoring item (if your MP is running low with the latter). Keep at this for a good while and you'll beat this boss eventually. If you're having trouble with this boss however, here's a Youtube video below. This one's made by EmiruHD, like the last one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI0l7YoQIPM 40. The Sandy Blade Description: Defeat Kurt Zisa in Agrabah Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, I'm not sure what spells you should take. I guess just bring a variation of Cure and Aero for this boss. To trigger this boss fight, head into Aladdin's House and talk to the Magic Carpet (who (or should I say what) seems to be panicking for some reason). When you do, it'll take you to this boss. At the start, summon Tinkerbell as depending on this boss' state when you fight him, she'll be your only source of healing. This boss has 2 states he could be in: A. Anti-Magic: This pretty much limits you to Physical Attacks B. Anti-Physical: Only Magic spells hurt him, but if you need more MP and you don't have the items to do so, you can physical attack him for some MP balls. When you do enough damage in each state, he'll be stunned and you'll be able to attack him with both Physical Attacks and Magic Spells. Do this enough times and this boss will go down for good. If you're having trouble with this boss, feel free to look at this Youtube video below. It was made by EmiruHD once again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpLQYRbjvCE 41. Novice Hero Description: Win the Phil Cup Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you just need to beat the Phil Cup Coliseum Tournament (like the description suggests). Unless mentioned otherwise, each tournament will consitst of 9 rounds (or Seeds as this game calls them) you have to win. This cup is unlocked after sealing the Keyhole in Traverse Town. The Rounds you have to face in this cup are (and as taken from noz3r0's walkthrough): 9 - Jungle Vice 8 - Monkey & Magic 7 - Big Feet 6 - Magic Alert 5 - Nightwalkers 4 - Hard Hitters 3 - Indomitable 2 - Wild Corps 1 - Shadow Battalion Depending on the Entry Method used when you've entered the cup, you'll get one of the following as your prize for beating it for the 1st time using the said method: Altogether (Sora, Donald and Goofy enter): Gravity Spell Solo (Sora's the only one entering the cup): Combo Plus Ability On a time limit (Same as Altogether, but with a time limit): Tech Boost Ability 42. Artisan Hero Description: Win the Pegasus Cup Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you just need to beat the Pegasus Cup Coliseum Tournament (like the description suggests). This cup is unlocked after escaping Monstro. The Rounds you have to face in this cup are (and as taken from noz3r0's walkthrough): 9 - Ghost Bandits 8 - Marauders 7 - Sluggers 6 - Pots & Bolts 5 - The Big Combo 4 - Toadstool 3 - Pots & Barrels 2 - Giant Impact 1 - Leon & Yuffie The bosses of this cup are not that hard, especially on Beginner. Just focus on one then take out the other. Leon has 600 HP while Yuffie has 300. Depending on the Entry Method used when you've entered the cup, you'll get one of the following as your prize for beating it for the 1st time using the said method: Altogether: Stike Raid Ability Solo: Orichalcum Material On a time limit: Dark Matter Material 43. Hero of the Coliseum Description: Win the Hercules Cup Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you just need to beat the Hercules Cup Coliseum Tournament (like the description suggests). This cup is unlocked after sealing the Keyhole in Neverland. The Rounds you have to face in this cup are (and as taken from noz3r0's walkthrough): 9 - Dusk Vanguard 8 - Minions of Horror 7 - Buccaneers 6 - Stray Phantom 5 - Mad Truffle 4 - Cloud 3 - Dark Squaron 2 - Flying Pirates 1 - Hercules The mid-boss of this cup Cloud is not that hard, especially on Beginner. Just beat the living daylights out of him and he's done. The main boss of this cup Hercules is not that hard, but he'll have a orange aura around him, letting you know he'll be invicible. For that reason, I suggest dodging his attacks for a bit. Every now and then, he'll stop and be a show off and that'll be your chance to throw a barrel at him (they're barrels littered on this floor) to disable his invincibility and allow you to go all out on him. Once Hercules gets his invincibility back though, stick to dodging his attacks and repeat the process until you take out the last of his life. The mid-boss Cloud has (I believe) 300 HP while the main cup boss Hercules has 450. Depending on the Entry Method used when you've entered the cup, you'll get one of the following as your prize for beating it for the 1st time using the said method: Altogether: Herc's Shield and Yellow Trinity Ability (the latter needed to seal the keyhole mentioned in "Junior Hero") Solo: Critical Plus Ability On a time limit: Gravity Break Ability You also get the Metal Chocobo Keyblade for beating Cloud in this cup and the Olympia Keyblade for beating this cup (if you've beaten the Phil and Pegasus Cups prior to this one). 44. Coliseum Champion Description: Win the Hades Cup Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you just need to beat the Hades Cup Coliseum Tournament (like the description suggests). This cup is unlocked after sealing the Keyhole in Holow Bation and having at least open all of the other 3 cups. Instead of having 9 rounds like it was in the other 3 cups, you have to deal with 49 rounds in this cup, so this is a longer tournament then normal. However, if you quit or lose the cup at any point and you've past certain checkpoints through out the cup, you'll be able to restart from the latest checkpoint in the cup (in intervals of 10). That said, the Rounds you have to face in this cup are (and as taken from noz3r0's walkthrough): 49 - Shadow Brothers (You start here by default) 48 - Wild Dance 47 - Terrible Feet 46 - Dirty Claws 45 - Mad Truffle 44 - Yuffie 43 - Outlaws 42 - Dark Garrison 41 - Bad Union 40 - Behemoth 39 - Red Legion (You can start here when you make it to this point) 38 - Blue Legion 37 - Sorcerous Armor 36 - Mad Fungus 35 - Spiders & Magic 34 - Optical Trick 33 - Magic Force 32 - Shadow Summoners 31 - Mystic Mages 30 - Cerberus 29 - Sky Raiders (You can start here when you make it to this point) 28 - Spookies 27 - Terrible Fists 26 - Shadow Storm 25 - Avengers 24 - Dark Knights 23 - Black Flap 22 - Night Soarers 21 - Air Corsairs 20 - Cloud & Leon 19 - The Large Trio (You can start here when you make it to this point) 18 - Blaze Bandits 17 - False Angels 16 - Dark Storm 15 - Air Brigade 14 - Violent Bunch 13 - Heavy Warriors 12 - Interceptors 11 - Elder Force 10 - Hades 9 - Night Rave (You can start here when you make it to this point) 8 - The Requiem 7 - Invisible Fear 6 - Mad Mushroom 5 - Black Storm 4 - Twin Mirage 3 - Shadow Troopers 2 - Final Battalion 1 - Rock Titan I'm not sure how to explain these bosses so I'll give you a couple of Youtube walkthroughs for this cup and call it done. The videos are made by MegamanNG. Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0bImvVZHr0 Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5yURawGn4I Part 2 has the bosses in question, but I'll add Part 1 in the mix, just in case your having trouble with the Cup in general. In Part 2, Watch from 18:09 - 23:07 for Hades and 34:16 - 37:24 for Rock Titan. Depending on the Entry Method used when you've entered the cup, you'll get one of the following as your prize for beating it for the 1st time using the said method: Altogether: Trinity Limit Solo: Save the Queen Staff/Rod On a time limit: Save the King Shield You also get the Genji Shield for beating Yuffie at rank 44, the Blizzard spell upgrade for beating Begemoth at rank 40, the Thunder spell upgrade for beating Cerberus at rank 30, the Lionheart Keyblade for beating Cloud and Leon at Rank 20 and the Gravity spell upgrade and Ansem's Report 8 for beating Hades at rank 10. 45. The Frosty Giant Description: Defeat the Ice Titan in the Gold Match at Olympus Coliseum Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: After beating the Hades Cup (see above), this match against the Ice Titan will open up to you. Having the Guard ability equiped is highly advisable. Unlike the Rock Titan, the Ice Titan can't be physically attacked without stuning it 1st (the Rock Titan can be physically attacked without stunning it). Althrough this isn't the only attack Ice Titan has, it does unleashed the icicles to fly at you that you can reflect using guard. Not much advice I can give other than that. Here's a Youtube video below if you need further assitance. It was made by EmiruHD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3SjTfuiLp8 You get the Diamond Dust Keyblade for beating this boss. 46. One-Winged Angel Description: Defeat Sephiroth in the Platinum Match at Olympus Coliseum Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: After beating the Hades Cup, this match against Sephiroth will open up to you. Equip all of the Elixirs and Megalixirs you happen to get your hands on in the item slots will allow you, because you'll need them. Also, make sure you are at least at level 65, have the best variation of Cure and Aero and either the Ultima Weapon or Divine Rose keyblade (perferably the former) before attempting this. This optional boss is suppose to be the Hardest boss in the game, so if you can beat him, not even the final boss will seem that hard by comparison. When you hit him, you may notice that his health bar doesn't seem like it's going down at all. This is because Square decided it would be funny to set this boss' HP was so high, it's beyond what the game is capable of as far as this stat goes. Don't let it bother you though, you are doing damage to him. Anyway, Saphiroth swings his sword really fast and it covers a lot of ground, so if you want to be able to hit him, you have to do so from the air. You can also hit him by catching him as he jumps around the area. When he jumps or teleports all over the place, watch out, as he's doing his Super Nova attack. Since this attack pretty much covers the entire area, you'll get hit every time unless you can time your Dodge Roll or Strike Raid just right. But their is one attack that's really deadly and that the "Heartless Angel". What this does is that he'll cast the Heartless Angel spell (you'll know if he's going to try to use this move when he says "Descend, Heartless Angel") and if he's able to hit you with it (and he will if you don't interupt it) he'll leave you with 1 HP and 0 MP and follow it up with a teleport slash which will pretty much kill you (and no, Second Chance can't save you from this attack since you're already at 1 HP when he sucessfully casts Heartless Angel). You can stop Saphiroth from sucessfully doing this attack if you can get a hit in quickly enough (by using Superglide and/or Strike Raid). If you're too far away for that to work though, hope you can time the use of the Elixir right (which is after your HP and MP get depleted) to pretty much cancel out the effect of the spell itself. With enough pertinence and perseverance, you'll be able to beat him eventually. Here's a Youtube video below if you need further assitance. It was made by EmiruHD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HATMmZlJeuQ You get the One-Winged Angel Keyblade and Ansem's Report 12 for beating this boss. 47. Supreme Soloist Description: Complete any solo challenge Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you have to beat any 1 of the 4 cups (be it the Phil, Pegasus, Hercules or Hades cups) with the entry method being Solo. You must have beaten the cup you wish to take on via the Altogether entry method before the option to do it solo will open up to you. Like I said before, any 1 of the 4 cups will do the trick, but if you want to eventually get the "Master Magician" trophy, then you need to complete the Hades cup solo, so you can unlock the Save the Queen Staff/Rod for Donald. 48. Time Attacker Description: Complete any time trial challenge Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to "Supreme Soloist" for details, but you have to tell Phil that you wish to enter the cup of your choice on a Time Limit. Like "Supreme Soloist" any 1 of the 4 cups will do the trick, but if you want to eventually get the "Master Defender" trophy, then you need to complete the Hades cup on a time limit, so you can unlock the Save the King Shield for Goofy. 49. Level Master Description: Get Sora to Level 100 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this one, you'll need to max out Sora's level to level 100. I've stated in "Novice Player" that it'll be faster in the long run to level up at Dusk and if your going to do a 100% run, this is something you're going to want to do (especially if you haven't unlocked this prior to starting a 100% run). At the end of the day though, you should be close to hitting (if not be at) level 100 after beating all of the tournaments, killing all the optional bosses and killing all of the heartless quite a few times for getting the materials needed to systhesising all 33 systesis-able items. If you didn't hit level 100 after everything you've done (beyond beating the final bosses), you'll want to equip all of the EXP items you happen to have on you and all of the Tech Plus abilities you've unlocked at the point you're in and start finding places to grind to level 100. I know of 4 spots to grind EXP at: A. The Ice Titan boss (found that one over at PS3trophies.org, but no Youtube videos that I can find) B. Doing the final 9 "Seeds" of the Hades cup over and over again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv8JQfIslt0 Video made by HdHereidme C. Doing what I would call "The Traverse Town Hotel Loop" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFjkVY7I5Js Video made by John David Glasscock Jr. D. Juggling the Rare Tuffles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbfi98yBdPY Video made by Elekktrikkz 50. Treasure Hunter Description: Open 100 treasure chests Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You'll most likely get this as you are playing the game (especially if you're doing a 100% run) and they're more than 100 chests in the game anyway, so don't worry about not getting this. 51. From Rags to Riches Description: Obtain over 10,000 Munny Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description suggests, you need to have 10,000 Munny on you for this one. You need to have that much Munny on you at once, so hold off on purchasing anything until you get this. Reguardless, you should be able to make that much Munny to be able to unlock this as you go through the game (especially if you're doing a 100% run), so don't worry about not getting this either. 52. Heartless Hunter Description: Defeat over 2,000 Heartless Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you'll need to kill a total of 2,000 Heartless. It has to be in 1 playthrough, but you should be able to the total up to that much if you're doing all of the optional stuff. If not, replaying the Hades cup over and over again will help you out with this. 53. End of the World Description: Seal the keyhole in Hollow Bastion Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. You will run into this place for the 1st time, but won't be able to seal this world's keyhole until your 2nd visit (much like Traverse Town). Upon showing up here for the 1st time though, Riku will show up and take away Sora's Keyblade and leaves him with the Wooden Sword (though, Riku might as well have left him defenceless as the Wooden Sword does nothing against the Heartless). He also (effectively) takes away Sora's allies since they have to follow their King's orders to find and follow the one who has the Keyblade (except for the Beast who's not working for the King and figures Sora's going to need his help anyway). Try not to worry when this happens though, as Riku didn't take away your ability to get the "Unchanging Armor" trophy and it's part of the story anyway, so there's not much that can be done to avoid it (if at all possible, which I don't think this is the case). Anyway, the bosses you have to fight your 1st time through are Riku round 1, Maleficent (both in her Normal and Dragon forms separately) and Riku round 2. 2nd time through, you have to beat the Behemoth. 54. Flying Ace Description: Shoot down over 2,500 enemies with your gummi ship Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you have to shoot down a total of 2,500 enemies while traveling from 1 world to another. You may end up getting this as you play through the game and even if you don't, their are other trophies related to the Gummi Ship on this list, so don't worry about not getting this one. 55. Oathkeeper Description: Obtain the Oathkeeper Keyblade Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. Unlike all the other story-related trophies in this game, you actually get this for picking up a Keyblade (the Oathkeeper in this case). You'll unlock this when you pick it up from Kairi after picking up the Navi-G in Traverse Town. You have to kick Riku's @$$ for the 2nd time in Hollow Bastion in order for Kairi to even show up in Traverse Town though. 56. KINGDOM HEARTS Master Description: Obtain all trophies Trophy Color: Platinum Guide: You get this when you have all the other Trophies in this game. ============================================================================== =Act 5: Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories Trophies and How to unlock them = ============================================================================== Note: Unless specified in the Trophy name, the description and/or specifically mentioned otherwise, all of the game's Trophies can be obtained as either Sora or Riku. 1. Undefeated Description: Clear the game without using a continue Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this trophy, you need to beat the game without getting killed. Like the Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix version of this trophy, you can get away with using the "Load Game" option should you die at any point during this game. Bit of advice though: If you can, use the "Moment's Reprieve" card on the room before you are to take on a boss of a certain world/floor. That way, if you die during the boss, you can just reload from that point instead of the beginning of the world you're in at that point in time. You can do this with either Sora or Riku, but Riku's story is shorter then Sora's and with the right tatics it's also easier. Beginner is highly suggested due to how bad this game is, but if you've beaten this game's card system to death and you're skilled enough, you could also do it on Standard or Proud. 2. Natural Player Sora Description: Clear Sora's story on Standard Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Standard and you have to play as Sora. Refer to "Proud Player Sora" to learn when you'll unlock this, as well as for tips on how to beat this game as Sora. 3. Natural Player Riku Description: Clear Riku's story on Standard Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Standard and you have to play as Riku. Refer to "Proud Player Riku" to learn when you'll unlock this, as well as for tips on how to beat this game as Riku. 4. Novice Player Sora Description: Clear Sora's story on Beginner Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Beginner and you have to play as Sora. Refer to "Proud Player Sora" to learn when you'll unlock this, as well as for tips on how to beat this game as Sora. Assuming you're using this difficulty as your 100% however, keep these things in mind as you're going about doing this: A. Hang on to your "Clam Bounty" Map cards and only use them once per world; I don't think the game let you use more than one anyway. The best time to use one is at the room before you get to the room you would use a "Moment's Reprieve" map card and you're about to face the boss of this world (depending on your chosen route of course). Update: You can use more than one of the "Clam Bounty" cards per world; ended up doing just that a good while back, but forgot to update it. B. You can only hang on to 1 "Key to Reward" Map card at a time, so use them right away if at all possible. C. If you get any Red Map Cards that will increase the drop rate of enemy cards, make sure you use them as they'll give you a chance to get any and all enemy cards you may not have as you play the game. 5. Novice Player Riku Description: Clear Riku's story on Beginner Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Beginner and you have to play as Riku. Refer to "Proud Player Riku" to learn when you'll unlock this, as well as for tips on how to beat this game as Riku. 6. Veggie Master Description: Get a score of 150 points or higher in the Veggie Panic mini-game Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's done during the 100 Acre Wood section of Sora's Story. You have to get at least 150 points during this mini-game. You only get 6 mess ups before you fail this mini-game. When a Cabbage comes near you, hit the [] button and if a Pumpkin comes near you, hit the () button. When you see Pooh chasing a butterfly in the middle of the route and a Veggie gets near him, hit the /\ button when prompted. Not much more I can explain then that. Update: Ok, so it looks like their's something I left out. I was playing this mini-game and I noticed that sometimes I would miss the Cabbages and Pumpkins dispite hitting the correct buttons. Then I accedently moved the left control stick a bit and Sora moved. So apparently you can move Sora during this mini-game as well. Nothing new to add on to that I haven't already received. 7. Ace Pilot Description: Get a score of 500 points or higher in the Balloon Glider mini-game Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's done during the 100 Acre Wood section of Sora's Story. This mini-game takes place after you've just got done with the Veggie Panic mini-game. You have to get at least 500 points during this mini-game. You start things off with 3 balloons, but you can pick up extra ones along the way. The catch with this is that you have to have less than 3 balloons, so if you have that much, you won't be able to pick up another one. You can ascend yourself by hitting the () button. You don't get a time limit here, but if you lose your last balloon at any point, the mini-game's over. To get the 500+ points needed for this trophy, you pretty much need to collect all of the yellow orbs when you reach to the top. You need to avoid all the bees and branches you can to win this mini-game in general. If you know an extra balloon's comming and you 3 balloons, you let yourself get hit by the bees to get the extra balloon.* Just make sure you don't get hit by the branches while you're doing this.** *Update: ProfessorTofty tells me that you should instead to skip any and all extra balloons if you already have 3 balloons at that point in time. Also, it's apparently possible to desend during the mini-game (he/she tells me it's [], but I've managed to platinum this game and I don't feel like booting it back up again to find out). **Update: When I played this, I sort of found out that it wasn't as good of an idea as I thought as I was losing balloons left and right. My advice still stands though. 8. High Jumper Description: Get a score of 120 points or higher in Tigger's Jump-a-Thon mini-game Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's done during the 100 Acre Wood section of Sora's Story. This mini-game takes place after you've just got done with the Balloon Glider mini-game. You have to get at least 120 points during this mini-game. You will need to follow Tigger's patterns in this mini-game, which will look like the face buttons on the PS3 controller. If you're pretty good at memorizing stuff, then this shouldn't be too hard. If not or find that you just can't do it, you can cheat by writing down the pattern and win the mini-game that way. Update: I'm not as sure their's any way you can win the mini-game per say as I was before, but my advice still stands for getting the 120+ points in this mini-game. 9. Sky Diver Description: Get a score of 2,000 points or higher in the Whirlwind Plunge mini-game Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's done during the 100 Acre Wood section of Sora's Story. This mini-game takes place after you've just got done with the Jump-a-Thon mini-game. You have to get at least 2,000 points during this mini-game. In this mini-game, you have to get through the debris and collect all of the yellow orbs you can. This is simple enough at first, but it'll get harder and harder got do as the mini-game progresses. Something to take advantage of: I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if it was programed that way, but when you get to the point that you're in the spin animation and you hit the [] button, you actually go through the debris. So, when you get to that point in the mini-game, you can mash that button and pretty much focus on collecting the yellow orbs. Update: I pretty much found out that it wasn't as simple as I thought it would be as I was getting hit and losing Pooh (who I forgot to mention has to be holding your hand during this mini-game) anyway. If you can pull it off, then it should come easy anyway. 10. Bee Buster Description: Clear all 70 bees within 1 minute and 40 seconds in the Bumble-Buster mini-game Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's done during the 100 Acre Wood section of Sora's Story. This mini-game takes place after you've just got done with the Whirlwind Plunge mini-game. However, when you play it intialy, it won't count, so you have to talk to Eeyore (the character who hosts this mini-game) again, if you want a chance at this trophy. Like the description for this suggests, you need to hit 70 bees during this mini-game and do it in under 1 minute and 40 seconds. Unlike all the other worlds, you are given a preset deck, so you will be unable to modify your deck to your advantage. You pretty much have to hope that lady luck comes to your aid. Their's a couple of sleights you should keep in mind when going for this: A. Honey Storm: Wind + Honey B. Honey Pot: Honey + Honey I'm afraid their's not much I can say in terms of advice other than suggest that you do this on Beginner as the game is generaly more beatable that way. However, I did run into this youtube video that should help you out while I was doing research on this game. It was made by Everglow8444 and this video
assumes that you are playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87XQ3d9MVzg 11. Sleight Master Description: Obtain all of Sora's sleights Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this one, you need to obtain all of Sora's Sleights (which they're kind of like Magic spells for cards) like the description suggests. If you haven't beaten Riku's Story and have a cleared save file and have not 100% Days yet, then you can forget about attempting this, as both of these are involved in the obtaining of Sora sleights. That said, you don't need to perform all of the Sleights as the second you obtain one will count towards the trophy (though, if you just want to make sure, feel free to perform them). If you want to, you can check to see what Sleights you have in your deck menu by pressing the [] button. If you need a list of all of the game's Sleights, you can look at this link below. It was made by the Kingdom Hearts wiki. http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Sleight All that being said, here's all of the ways you can obtain Sleights in this game as far as Sora goes: A. Leveling Up (you obtain your final one this way at level 57) B. Reaching the Castle Oblivion floor C. Talking to Piglet in the 1st area and clearing all of the mini-games in 100 Acre Wood D. Using a Calm Bounty map at least once in each world (I found out you can use more than one of these in any world at anytime) E. Going into the Key to Rewards rooms You also get free Sleights by obtaining Magic, Summon and Friend cards. 12. Card of Memories Description: Clear Castle Oblivion 1F Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. You get this by clearing your 1st floor in Castle Oblivion (which unlike the last game where it takes place all over the place (pretty much), is where the entire game takes place). The 1st floor takes place in Traverse Town. This one, as well as "Woven Memories" and "The Truth" will unlock during Sora's story. 13. Woven Memories Description: Clear Castle Oblivion 5F Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. You get this by clearing your 5th floor in Castle Oblivion. Unlike "Card of Memories" and the upcoming "The Truth", you get 5 world cards: A. Agrabah B. Olympus Coliseum C. Wonderland D. Monstro E. Halloween Town Assuming that you go in the order listed above however, you'll unlock this as soon as you've beaten Monstro. 14. The Truth Description: Clear Castle Oblivion 13F Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. You get this by clearing your 13th floor in Castle Oblivion (and pretty much beat the game). The 13th floor takes place in Castle Oblivion (yes, you read that right). 15. Hard Hitter Description: Obtain all attack bonuses for Riku Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this by maxing out Riku's Attack Points. The most AP that Riku can have is 30. Assuming that you up his AP every chance the game gives you, you'll unlock this when you hit level 59. 16. Confronting the Darkness Description: Clear Castle Oblivion B12F Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Technically Story-Related, since you have to do this for the sake of various trophies (plus diffculty trophies don't stack for some stupid reason). You get this by clearing basement floor 12, which takes place in Hollow Bastion. This one, as well as "Challenge from the Inner Darkness" and "Overcoming the Darkness" will unlock during Riku's story. 17. Challenge from the Inner Darkness Description: Clear Castle Oblivion B8F Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Technically Story-Related, since you have to do this for the sake of various trophies (plus diffculty trophies don't stack for some stupid reason). You get this by clearing basement floor 8. Like Sora's "Woven Memories", what world you will unlock this depends on what order you do the following 4 worlds in: A. Agrabah B. Monstro C. Neverland D. Traverse Town Assuming that you go in the order listed above however, you'll unlock this as soon as you've beaten Traverse Town. 18. Overcoming the Darkness Description: Clear Castle Oblivion B1F Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Technically Story-Related, since you have to do this for the sake of various trophies (plus diffculty trophies don't stack for some stupid reason). You get this by clearing basement floor 1, which (like Sora) takes place in Castle Oblivion. 19. Card Master Sora Description: Collect all Card Collection entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Silver Guide: This one wants you to find and collect all of the Cards this game has as Sora. I'm not 100% sure how to explain this one that well, but I do know you have to do the following before you can even think about attempting this: A. Complete Riku's Story and have a clear save file (keeping a seperate save helps, but I don't think it'll matter) B. Have all of the trophies for 358/2 Days If you open up one the Room to Rewards for a certain world, but you go on to 100% Days, you can come back to these rooms and find another treasure chest in their (these rooms normally contain 1 chest pre-Days). Also, you can get certain cards via Clam Bounty Map Cards. These are the cards you can obtain through the said map cards. A. Diamond Dust (might have to break various objects on the 13th floor of the castle if all else fails though). B. One-Wing Angel C. Ultima Weapon D. Lexaeus E. Ansem F. Zexion Of the 6 cards you can obtain this way, the Diamond Dust, Ultima Weapon and Lexaeus cards are the ones you need to get lucky with, as they are random as heck. The other 3 cards (One-Wing Angel, Ansem and Zexion) can be found at a fixed point (Twilight Town with the One-Wing Angel and Ansem Cards and Destiny Island with Zexion), but they are also randomly generated, so there's no guanrateed that you will get these 3 cards when you use one of your Bounty Map Card at all. Your biggest grind with this however will be the Enemy Cards. You have to find and collect every last one of those cards the game has to offer. What makes this a grind-fest is that the drop rate for these types of cards are low at the absolute best. You can obtain a heartless enemy card by making sure that the heartless in question is the last one to get killed during the battle you're currently in. You can also up the drop rate of these cards by 2.5 by using map cards such as (but is not necessarily limited to): A. Teeming Darkness B. Almighty Darkness C. Looming Darkness Even with these cards, the drop rate is still low at the absolute best. At the end of the day, it's lady luck that desides when you'll obtain these cards, so you have to hope that she desides to hand them over. You can also reload your save and reset the random factor if you find that lady luck is just being a pain in the @$$. You will also need to keep a careful eye out for the following heartless as well: A. Black Fungus B. White Mushroom C. Barrel Spider The 1st two heartless can only be found in the Black and White Rooms resepctivly. You'll want to have quite a bit of these room cards with you when you are chasing after their enemy cards. As for the Barrel Spider, you can find them in pretty much any world you can think of, but your best chance of geting one is to use the Teeming Darkness map cards in Agrabah. If you are out of those cards when you can't seem to find the Barrel Spider and obtain the heartless' enemy card, reload and try again. If you need to stock up on those cards however, you can use the Roulette Room map card and try to obtain them their. Here's a list of all of the cards you need to obtain as Sora below. It was made by the the Kingdom Hearts wiki. http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Cards If you prefer visual assistence, here's a youtube video below. It was made by Everglow8444. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAxZG54KvF0 Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of the game. Also, I would suggest looking here as it'll do a better job of explaining it better then I ever will. 20. Storyteller Sora Description: Collect all Story entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Technically Story-Related, since this basicly wants you to beat the game. It'll unlock itself when you've beaten the final boss, which in Sora's case is Marluxia. 21. Character Professor Sora Description: Collect all Character entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You'll be going for "Card Master Sora" and "Sleight Master" anyway, so don't worry about not getting this. Just make sure that you keep an eye out for Piglet when you make it to the 100 Acre Woods world and find the Room to Rewards in Hollow Bastion and pick up the Mushu card. 22. Mini-game Maniac Sora Description: Collect all Mini-game entries in Jiminy's Journal Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: The desription for this should have said "Play all of the mini-games in the 100 Acre Woods World" or something to that effect, because that's basicly what you have to do here. Here's the list of mini-games you'll need to play in order to unlock this. A. Belly Brawl (Update: This mini-game is the only one you play in a world other than 100 Acre Woods) B. Veggie Panic C. Ballon Glider D. Jump-A-Thon E. Whirlwind Plunge F. Bumble-Rumble You don't need to unlock the trophy that's tied to the latter 5 games (though, with the middle 4, it does help); you just need to beat the initial mini-game. 23. Card Master Riku Description: Collect all Card Collection entries in D Report Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one's the same as the Sora version of this trophy, but unlike "Card Master Sora" you'll most likely unlock this as Riku's story progresses. The only real hard to get one would be the Random Joker. Other than that and like I said, you'll end up unlocking this when you've beaten the game pretty much. 24. Story Teller Riku Description: Collect all Story entries in the D Report Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Technically Story-Related, since this basicly wants you to beat the game. It'll unlock itself when you've beaten the final boss, which in Riku's case is Ansem. 25. Character Professor Riku Description: Collect all Character entries in the D Report Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to "Charcter Professor Sora" for details, but you don't need to worry about getting all of the Cards for Riku (as they are pretty much handed over to you) and don't worry about finding the White Mushroom Heartless as their are none to be found in Riku's Story. Same deal with his Sleights as Riku doesn't have his own version of the "Sleight Master" trophy. 26. Novice Deck Builder Description: Edit a card deck for the first time Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You need to do this 500 times anyway (refer to "Expert Deck Builder" to know what I'm talking about), so don't worry about not unlocking this. 27. Premium Card Maker Description: Make 20 cards become Premium Cards Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you need to turn 20 Normal cards into Premium Cards. What a Premium card does is that basicly lowers the amount of CP needed to be in your deck, but makes the card unreloadable (unless you use a Gold Card, in which case they reload like normal for 5 Reloads, but you need to fulfill the conditions of "Card Master Sora" 1st. You could also use a Hi-Potion to reload the Premium cards as well). In order to make a card Premium, you need to pick up a "Premium Bonus" card and the game will ask you to either make a card Premium or back out. Choose the former and select your card and that's it. Update: I found out earily on that in order to choose "the former", you just need to hit the X button. Reguardless... These cards rarely (if ever) are dropped by enemies in normal battles, but you can up the odds of obtaining one by going to either the Black or White rooms, where the Black Fungus and White Mushrooms hang out at respectivly.* There's even a Map Card known as the "Premium Room", which pretty much guarantees that Premium Bonus Cards will show up (but not every time). This will unlock itself after turning your 20th card into a Premium Card. *Update: I've only found these in the White rooms when I was chasing after the White Mushroom enemy card, but you never know. 28. No Escape Description: Clear the game without fleeing from a single battle Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Technically Story-Related, since you want to gain EXP, not avoid them. It'll unlock itself when you've beaten the final boss without running away even once (which you really don't have any real reason for doing so anyway). (Not much of a) Update: Unless you hit level 99 and unlock the trophy for either Sora and/or Riku, which even then... 29. Card Breaker Description: Break an enemy's cards 1,500 times Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you need to break a total of 1,500 cards that your foes will throw at you. In order to break the enemy's card the card you throw out must be greater than or equal to the enemy's card (in Riku's case though, the card must be greater than the enemy's card). You'll must likely get this as you go through the game, as this is something you are going to want to do anyway (though, it can be a bit of a grind, especially if you haven't been doing it). As long as you've been pretty good about breaking their cards often, you'll be able to unlock this when you get to the end of the game (pretty much). 30. Interceptor Description: Strike an enemy before entering battle 150 times Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you need to get in a preemptive strike a total of 150 times. You'll know if you've gotten a preemptive strike, as the heartless will be really dizzy state at the start of the battle (it'll wear off after some time though). It'll be a bit of a grind, but if you've been pretty good about doing it (especially on Proud where you are going to want to do this the most often on if at all possible) it won't be that bad. 31. Duel Master Description: Win 100 duels Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one (like the description suggests) wants you to win a total of 100 duels. This can only be done in Riku's Story, since Sora is unable to start any duels due to how his deck works. Anyway, to start a duel with an enemy, Riku's card number must match the enemy's card number (i.e. 5, 6, 7) and hit /\. All duels will have a time limit on them and how long it'll be until time's up depends on the difficulty of the enemy. The heartless will throw random cards at Riku and he'll have to respond with a card of greater value.* Sometimes you can just mash the living daylights out of the X button and get the same result as quickly finding and using a card of higher value, but other times, you don't want to do that due to how weak Riku's deck is. You'll get a good chunk of these duels through the bosses that Riku has to face, but if by the time you're about to take on the final boss of Riku's Story and you're worried that you might not have enough, try this below: A. Get into a fight with a Black Fungus and kill off any and all the other enemies that's on the battle field. B. Once the one Black Fungus is left alive, wait for it to harden itself so it won't take any dammage. C. Play a 7 card when the Black Fungus plays one (it'll always use a 7). D. Just spam your deck as the Black Fungus doesn't have that strong of a deck. E. Rinse and Repeat as many times a it takes (reload your deck when necessary). F. Run away from this battle when the trophy unlocks itself (it's impossible to kill the Black Fungus at this point, so don't waste anymore time then you have to).* I would suggest trying to unlock this in Neverland or in Castle Obivion, as you'll have a stong deck to work with in those worlds. *Update: Matching the number works just as well. Also, it's not impossible to beat the Black Fungus as the harden will eventrally wear off. For this reason, you can kill it if you like. 32. Moogle Mogul Description: Get over 10,000 Moogle Points Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you need to get at least 10,000 Moogle Points in your wallet. Unlike Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (and most (if not all) of the other games in this series where the game's general form of currency is Munny) Moogle Points is this game's form of currency that allows one to purchase cards for Sora's deck (and I say "Sora" because he's the only character who you can do this as). It doesn't matter what difficulty you get this on, but you'll most likely spending quite a bit of the points just to keep your deck updated constantly. You need to have 10,000 Moogle Points in your wallet at once, so this can be a bit of a grind. Their are 2 ways that I know of to get this: A. You can go to the 100 Acre Woods and head into the area where you would be at Rabbit's garden. In front of his house you'll see a bunch of pots and buckets just waiting to be smashed. When you smash them, you may get either HP or MP balls (sometimes either a Kingdom Key or Fire Magic card will pop up as well), but you can get anywhere between 100-500 Moogle Points depending on how much Lady Luck likes you on the trip to Rabbit's area in this world and it'll take 2-3 hours to pull this off (again, depending on how lucky you are). Here's how to do it: Aa. Enter the 100 Acre Woods world. Take the time to ring the bell at Pooh's House, as sometimes you'll get something for doing it. I have went as far is to enter Pooh's House to check for Moogle Points and Cards. Ab. Make your way to Rabbit's House, smash everything you see and run back out. Ac. Warp to any other world and warp back to this world. Doing this will reset the pot and buckets in Rabbit's house. Ad. Do the 1st three steps as many times as it takes to unlock this and/or you feel like you have enough to buy enough stuff from the Moogle Card Shop. B. You could sell all of your cards if you feel that the total will be over the amount needed for this trophy. Make sure you save 1st before you do this, as you'll want to reload afterwards to keep all of your sold cards. Here's a Youtube video demonstrating this method. It was made by Everglow8444. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs1o4mBQeRU Note: This video assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version. Also, the Trophy name in the Japan version of this game is called "Point Milionaire", but it's the same trophy, so it should apply to this one. 33. Regular Customer Description: Use over 20,000 Moogle Points at Moogle Shops Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You'll be spending a lot of points just to update Sora's deck anyway, especially if your playing on Proud, so don't worry about not getting this. If by the time you get to the point that you are about to take on Sora's final boss on your 100% Beginner playthrough and you don't unlock this one, then refer to "Moogle Mogul" for a couple of methods to unlock this. You can also look at this Youtube video if you need further assistance with this trophy. It was made by Everglow8444. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBcM3KIBb3w Note: Like the last Youtube link, it also assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. Update: I while I was playing this game on this diffculty setting as well as Normal and even Beginner (save for the sake of "Regular Customer"), I didn't find myself buying as many cards as I thought I would end up buying, if at all. 34. Room Creator Description: Synthesize 300 rooms Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this trophy suggests, you need to create a total of 300 rooms. You could create rooms on every single unique square on every floor and not maybe get like 100. I'm not sure if they carry over from playthrough to playthrough somehow, but I would attempt this last after you've gotten everything else done with either Sora or Riku (I suggest Sora, since you'll have the hardest time with his Card Master Trophy) and start creating rooms in various worlds. I would suggest running through an easy world like Traverse Town quite a few times, but if you only have low numbered Map cards, go through the 1st door over and over again. 35. Proud Player Sora Description: Clear Sora's story on Proud Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Proud and you have to play as Sora. No thanks to the fact that *Recasts Anti-Flame* this game's bad, this can be a pain in the @$$. You are helped out by the fact that you can customize Sora's deck to your advantage, but it doesn't chance the fact that this one's hard. Some tips to help you out though: A. Sleights - These things can be game breaking and later on in the game they'll make really tough boss battles somewhat of a snap. They're 2 you may want to pick up in the level up screen for some of the later bosses later on in the game and they're Sonic Blade and Ars Arcanum. Just make sure you don't abuse the living daylights out of them, or it'll catch up to you rather quickly. B. Leveling Up and Balancing Sora - When you level up and go to the level up screen, you'll be given an option to take one of the following level up bonuses: Ba. Health Bb. CP (Card Points) Bc. Learn a new Sleight (when the option becomes available) Earily on, you're going to want to upgrade Sora's Health and learn new Sleights, as you'll most likely to not have too many good cards to play with (if at all), so it'll be a waste to just throw the bonus away (pretty much). When you feel like you have a decent amount of health, feel free to use the bonuses on CP to balance it out. If you feel like you can stay alive long enough to reach the end with your card deck, then focus more on your health. Speaking of card decks... C. Deck Construction, Properly Managing and Updating Sora's deck - As insiginificant as this is going to sound, you'll want to update your deck on an constant bases. The reason for this is that like almost every other game ever made (good or bad), the foes going to get harder and harder as the game progresses. Make sure that have some high numbered cards so you can easily break your foes cards, but you'll want to have some low numbered cards so you can make use of certain Sleights. Also, make sure your Magic and Summon cards are separate unless you plan on using them as part of a Sleight you plan on using. Keeping all of your 0 cards in the bottom will make sure you have easy access to the said cards. Also, if by chance you have the Cure card on you, stick them in your deck so you can heal when needed (cap it out at like 5-6 later on in the game though). These cards will help you out duing those boss fights where you're cutting close. You can use them in a sleight, so take advantage of that when Sora's health is really low (and I mean really low). Please, in the name that's all in holy, DO NOT fall victim to the "I really lacking cards"-ists because you thought it would be a good idea to use them all for Sleights. You'll be throwing out cards that could've came in handy during the fights, so make sure you choose the cards you use for Sleights wisely. It's also not a bad idea to make sure you include Enemy Cards into Sora's deck as well as they can be useful depending on certain situations. These cards include (but are not necessarily limited to): Ca. Jafar (has Attack Bracer which Stops enemies from breaking attack cards you use; good for 20 attacks and costs 65 CP to equip) Cb. Oogie Boogie (has Regen which Gradually restores HP. HP will returns more quickly when it's low; good for 10 uses (non of which you have control over) and costs 40 CP to equip) Cc. Captain Hook (has Second Chance which alows you to stay alive at 1 HP after a critical hit (as long as you have at least 2 HP left); good for 3 uses and costs 35 CP to equip) Update: I didn't find the Captain Hook card to be as useful as I thought it would end up being as I would end up being killed anyway even if I had more than 1 HP left. If you find the foes have been slaping you with critical hits and dying as a result of them, then you might find some use out of it. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother putting it in your deck. You can get stronger cards by buying them at the Moogle Shop and by destroying objects in a given room, but you aren't always guaranteed a card this way. So, pretty much just go out of your way to destory all of the object you can destory, as they'll not only give you a chance to earn some Moogle Points, but you can also get some free cards this way. The amount of Moogle Points you get maybe small, but trust me, it'll add up. If you need assistance in any of Sora's boss battles (or the entire story for that matter), either refer to the details portion of this guide or look at this Youtube playlist below. The playlist was made by angryguy7000. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6ACA8F2A612146BF Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS2 version of the game. 36. Proud Player Riku Description: Clear Riku's story on Proud Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Story-Related, but you need to have the game set on Proud and you have to play as Riku. Because the fact that in his story Riku gets a preset deck for each world he ends up visiting, you won't be able to adjust the deck to your advantage. It doesn't help that most of the time Riku will have the weaker deck in most worlds. The game compensates for this by letting you reload Riku's deck without charging it 1st (and you don't have to worry about up-ing itself in count, as it doesn't do that)Make sure you keep his Sleights in mind, but for ****'s sake use them sparingly. Unlike Sora however, you can't use his Sleights anytime you want. Riku has to be in his Dark Mode in order to use them. Here' a list of his Sleights and what the total has to be in order to use the said Sleights. A. Dark Break (5-15) A. Dark Firaga (16-25) A. Dark Aura (27) Also, other than the Oogie Boogie enemy card and the health orbs that drop when you destory objects, the King Mickey Friend card will be his only source of healing. If you were to use them in a Sleight, the healing will be stronger then it normally would, so take advantage of that. Just make sure you don't use the said card in a attack Sleight if you can help it, because it'll either do the Holy or Inverse Burst (depending on the mode you happen to be in at the time) and neither one of those attacks will heal you. Bosses will prove to be harder in Riku's story then it was for Sora's, but your best bet for defeating these bosses is to get into a duel with them and spam your deck. Not the fastest way and pretty tedious I know, but it works, especially if you don't have good deck to work with. If squaring off against human opponents however, you'll want to get into Dark Riku mode and use 2 cards in a Sleight, as it'll create a stun effect that can be repeated over and over again until either they die or manage to break your card (perferably the former). As far as leveling up and when you do this goes, you'll be given an option to take one of the following level up bonuses: A. Health B. AP (Attack Points) (when the option becomes available) C. DP (Dark Points) (unlocks after defeating Ansem for the 1st time) You'll want to max out Riku's AP as soon as possible, as every point towards this can and will make a difference (especially if you don't exactly have a good deck to work with). His Health will also take priority, but AP has to come 1st. If you feel like you have enough HP to last you a little bit, feel free to up his DP, but AP has to take top priority (especially since the option for it doesn't show up very offen). If you need assistance in any of Riku's boss battles, (or the entire story for that matter), either refer to the details portion of this guide or look at this Youtube playlist below. The playlist was made by angryguy7000. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE1D08EFEE3D751B8 Note: Assumes that you're playing the PS2 version of the game. Update: ProfessorTofty tells me that if you were to take the Health upgrade when you level up, it'll fully restore your health. So if you find yourself running low on health after a battle and you level up, it may not be a bad idea to upgrade Riku's Health. Just don't forget about the advice I gave you about this trophy above. 37. A Slumber to Remember Description: Clear Sora's story mode Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Story-Related, so it can't be missed. This trophy will unlock itself when you've beaten the game (along with the difficulty trophy you were playing on at the time). 38. Road to Dawn Description: Clear Riku's story mode Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Technically Story-Related, as you have to do this 3 times if you want to 100% this game (one for each difficulty setting, since for some stupid reason the difficulty trophies don't stack). This story's known as "Reverse/Rebirth". 39. Record Keeper Sora Description: Collect all Jiminy's Journal entries Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you have to find all of the Journal entries in Jiminy's Journal. I would suggest refering to the following trophies listed below for this one, as fulfilling the requirements of those trophies is what will unlock this trophy: A. Card Master Sora B. Storyteller Sora C. Character Professor Sora D. Mini-Game Maniac Sora This will unlock itself along side the trophy you've haven't gotten at that point in time (unless the trophy in question is "Storyteller Sora", in which case you just need to beat the game pretty much). 40. Record Keeper Riku Description: Collect all D Report entries Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you have to find all of the Journal entries in the D Report. I would suggest refering to the following trophies listed below for this one, as fulfilling the requirements of those trophies is what will unlock this trophy: A. Card Master Riku B. Storyteller Riku C. Character Professor Riku This will unlock itself along side the trophy you've haven't gotten at that point in time (unless the trophy in question is "Storyteller Riku", in which case you just need to beat the game pretty much). Come to think of it, this one could actually be story-related, since "Card Master Riku" is pretty much given to you, but who knows. Update: If you don't use the Black Room cards the game randomly gives to you at any point during one of your playthroughs, but before taking on the final boss of Riku's story, you'll miss out on "Character Professor Riku", so make sure you use that before one of your playthroughs as Riku ends. 41. Expert Deck Builder Description: Edit a card deck 500 times Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This trophy wants you to edit Sora's deck a total of 500 times. Although you'll be editing your deck quite a few times during the course of the game, you'll most likely be nowhere near the 500 needed for this trophy. Everytime you enter the card deck and make any changes to it (even if it's a minor one) it'll count as an edit. The catch with this is that if you make more than 1 change to your deck, it'll only count as 1 edit. The only way to counter act this (somewhat) is to make one change, back out, reenter and make one change again. This is tedious as heck (especially since you'll have to make constent changes to your deck and if you make any and all mistakes in your deck (as in you didn't intend on taking a certain card), it'll take even longer. The mistakes you make does count as one edit, so it's not that big of a deal if you do make a mistake in your deck. Their is a way to grind this out, but like the counter measure to the "1 big edit per deck creator menu" rule, it is quite tedious. Here are the steps to this below: A. With your current deck, start removing a card one by one, leaving and reentering the deck creator menu each time you remove one card. B. When you're down to the required attack card, add one card to your deck at a time, again leaving and reentering the deck creator menu each time. Keep doing this step until you've hit the current max CP. C. Repeat steps A and B until you've unlocked this. Here's a youtube video that demostrates another way to grind this out. It was made by Everglow8444. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD6vOaz7qsQ Note: This assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. Also, the Japan version of this game's trophy is called "Advanced Card Deck Creator", but it's the same trophy, so it should still apply. 42. Level Master Sora Description: Max out Sora's level Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this one, you need to get to level 99 with Sora (the max in all of the Kingdom Hearts games (aside from the 1st (as seen in the that game's trophy list) and 2nd ones where they the max is level 100). This will take a grand total of 1,310,000 points to pull off. With Sora, you can edit your deck to make the ideal boosting deck, so make sure you at least have 3x of the following Sleights on you: A. Megaflare (Mushu+Fire+Fire) B. Tornado (Gravity+Aero+Genie*) The latter is only needed is you intend on using the Castle Oblivion leveling method below. Also, if by chance you have the Bouncywild Enemy Card on you (it'll attract fallen cards and items to you), feel free to equip it if you have the CP for it. On top of that, if you happen to have the Red Nocturne Enemy Card on you (it increases the fire power of Megaflare), you can equip that as well. *Update: I've found you can use the Simba summon card for this sleight as well, so I believe that any summon card will do the trick. If not, well... I was able to use the Simba summon card for the Tornado Sleight, I swear. A. The Castle Oblivion method Aa. Use Megaflare until you're left with Fire absorbing foes. Ab. Use Tornado until you are left with 1 or 2 foes. Ac. Escape the battle and repeat the 1st two steps as many times as it takes. You could also kill the foes here as you can always leave the world and come back. B. The Destiny Island method Ba. Start off with the Red Nocturne Card if you have it in your deck. Update: Or not, I find the foes go down rather easily with Megaflare on its own. Of course, this from my experence on Beginner, so your mileage may vary on Normal and/or Proud. Bb. Use Megaflare on the foes. Bc. If at least one foe survives, either use Megaflare again, or use your the battle cards to finish them off (depending on the situation or if you even equiped them of course). Bd. Start another battle and do the 1st three steps as many times as it takes. If you run out of foes to kill, leave the world and come back and do it again. Update: Or if you have any map cards left over (which I sure hope so), you can use another map card (use the "Teeming Darkness" map cards for the most foes), and do the 1st three steps that way. Here's a Youtube video that shows off the latter method. It was made by Everglow8444. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f726U3qgzP8 Note: This assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. Also, the Japan version of this game's trophy is called "Level Counter Limit: Sora", but it's the same trophy, so it should still apply. 43. Level Master Riku Description: Max out Riku's level Trophy Color: Silver Guide: For this one, you need to get to level 99 with Riku. Like Sora, this will also take a grand total of 1,310,000 points to pull off. Unlike Sora however, you can't edit your deck to make the ideal boosting deck, so all you can do is to keep fighting. I suggest going into the Castle Oblivion level, as it'll give you the most experience possible. Go into Dark Mode and use Sleights like Dark Aura and use the Jafar Enemy Card to make sure the foes are unable to break your cards. For a more in-depth method on this, check out this Youtube video below. It was made by Everglow844. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oWwyfyP9X8 Note: This assumes that you're playing the PS3 Japan version of this game. Also, the Japan version of this game's trophy is called "Level Counter Limit: Riku", but it's the same trophy, so it should still apply. 44. Tightrope Walker Description: Replenish HP when you have less than 5% HP Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to heal yourself when you have less than 5% HP (Health/Hit Points) left. This is best done on either Beginner where you're not as likely to die (if at all) or on Proud where you'll find yourself running low on health on an constant bases anyway. When you think Sora/Riku's health is low enough, use Cure on him and hop this pops. If for some reason you're not having any luck getting this, using the Captain Hook Enemy Card (which make sure you stay alive with 1 HP left) will help you out with this. Update: Although and as mentioned in the "Proud Player Sora", I didn't find the Captain Hook card to be as useful as I thought. Up to you if you want to use it through. 45. Battle Card Collector Description: Obtain over 300 battle cards Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Like the description for this suggests, you need to collect at least 300 Battle Cards. The Battle Cards are (basicly) your attack or Keyblade cards. They don't have to be 300 different ones, just 300 battle cards in general. You'll most likely get this naturally when you're going after either the "Moogle Mogul", "Regular Customer" or even the "Level Master Sora" trophies. You could get this as either Sora or (in theory) Riku. Update: You can't get this as Riku. 46. Treasure Hunter Description: Open 10 chests from hidden rooms Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: The hidden rooms in question are the "Room to Rewards" rooms. You have to do this for "Card Master Sora" anyway, so don't worry about not getting this. If you've 100% Days prior to your 100% run as Sora (which is an absolute must for the sake of "Card Master Sora"), then you'll get this in 5 rooms. 47. Ace Striker Description: Hit an enemy with an object Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to run into an object, pick it up with /\ and throw it at a heartless. You'll get plenty of chances to get this, so if you miss it during the tutorial, don't worry too much. However, the object has to hit the heartless or it won't count. 48. Chain of Memories Master Description: Obtain all trophies Trophy Color: Platinum Guide: You get this when you have all the other Trophies in this game. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + Act 6: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Trophies and How to unlock them + ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1. Days of Connection Description: View Chapters 1 through 37 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to "Where the Heart Lies" for details. 2. Days of Reflection Description: View Chapters 38 through 74 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to "Where the Heart Lies" for details. 3. Where the Heart Lies Description: View Chapters 75 through 109 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this, "Days of Connection" and "Days of Reflection", you just need to watch all of the game's cutscenes (which is all you can do, since their's no gameplay to go along with them). You could hit "Play" in the start menu so you could play all the chapters at once, but that will render the cutscenes unskipable. If you care about the series' story, this won't be a big deal. If you just want to get these out of the way however, select "Chapters" and select the 1st chapter. From there, you can skip cutscene after cutscene until you make it to number 109.* After you've "watched" all the game's chapters, back out to the Chapter Select menu and all 3 of these should pop at the same time (pretty much). You will know which chapters you've watched when you see the chapter(s) in question are highlighted in Blue (which the possible exception of the one that's actually highlighted, which will be in Red). This will also apply to "Dear Diary" and "Special Investigator" *Update: Apparently this isn't as simple as I thought. When it shows me some text, I've been kicked out to the scene selection screen forcing me to select the next scene myself. What's worse, is that the game would do this everytime it shows me some text and it was on a constent bases. I think I might have been to counteract this by selecting "Play all" from the scene selection menu, but that's something I'll need to test out whenever I feel like "playing" that game again. 4. Dear Diary Description: View all entries in Roxas's Diary Trophy Color: Gold Guide: From the Start Menu, select "Special" and select "Roxas' Diary". From their, select the 1st page of the said diary. Once their, just mash the R1 button to skim through all the pages of the diary. Once you "viewed" them all, back out and it should pop. 5. Special Investigator Description: View all Secret Reports Trophy Color: Gold Guide: You need to unlock "Days of Connection", "Days of Reflection" and "Where the Heart Lies" 1st in order to access these Reports. After that, do the same thing as you would for "Dear Diary" but hit /\ when you get to the Diary menu. Choose the 1st report and mash R1 like you would for "Dear Diary" and once you back out to the Secret Report menu (after having "Viewed" all of the reports), it should unlock itself. 6. 358/2 Days Master Description: Obtain all trophies Trophy Color: Gold (Platinum Technically) Guide: You get this when you have all the other Trophies in this game. \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ | Act 7: The Game's Unlockable Awards | /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ This was not in my 1st release and I decided to include them in here, just in case people care about this sort of thing and/or unsure how to unlock them. That said, here's all of the unlockables below. Non of them will unlock until you go to the game selection menu, so don't freak out if you fulfill the conditions of the unlockables only to find it didn't unlock right away. They're all mainly themes for your PS3, but... A. Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Theme How to unlock it: Complete Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Guide: Just do as the "How to unlock it" says and it'll unlock itself. B. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories Theme How to unlock it: Complete Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories Guide: Refer to the "Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Theme" for details. C. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Theme How to unlock it: Obtain 358/2 Days Master Trophy and read all character bios Guide: Just follow the trophy guide for that game above to obtain "358/2 Days Master", then take the time to check out the character bios. Like the trophies for this game, you don't have to actually read them (unless you care about the series' story enough to do it). You can just mash R1 to view them. ============================================================================== | Act 8: How to Contact me | ============================================================================== You have 2 Main ways of contacting me: 1. Send me a E-mail 2. Send me a message on my Gamertag on X-Box Live 3. Send me a message on my PSN Profile My E-mail address shadowjohn91(at)yahoo(dot)com. My Gamertag is Gamer364. This can be done only through a text message on the Xbox 360. My PSN name is TurboStitch. Like my Gamertag, this can only be done via text message on the PS3. E-mail or Message me if you: A. See a spelling error: I may have made spelling errors as I was writing this. B. Have a question that needs asking: You may have something that needs clearing up or something to that affect. C. Have a correction to make: I'm not 100% sure on some of the stuff mentioned though out the guide. D. Want to use my guide on your website: I personally have no problem letting you use my guide on your website, as long as you ask me first, and you give me credit for it. E. Think you see someone using my guide without permission: I don't like it when people steal my stuff (at least, not without asking me first). I don't do it to other people (at least without giving other people credit for the idea), so why do it to me anyway? F. Have something to add-on to this or that/there's something I forgot to include: If there something you think I should have included, but I didn't, you are encouraged to send me an Email for this or that. Do note that if you do decide you want to message me, make sure if the topic is about Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix (You could also specifiy the game if you feel your message only applies to that Kingdom Hearts game). As of right now the only sites that have permission to use my guide: A. GameFAQs (I have an ancount with them, so they don't really need my permission.) B. Neoseeker (The owner got permission in advanced) C. Supercheats (The owner got permission in advanced) More to come (maybe). Don't even think about email/message me if you are going to send me: A. Hate Mail B. Spam C. Name Calling mail D. Barelly readable/Unreadable mail E. Mail with mostly creative words (if you get my drift) F. Mail/Message saying that Re: CoM doesn't suck (I'm serious on this one) Letter A I take offence to, because I don't send hate mail to no one. I have a Spam safeguard with yahoo and it'll tell me if I have spam or not with Letter B. Also, if I think your trying sending me spam on Xbox Live, don't think I won't wirte a complant about you, and/or tell Microsoft on you. With letter C, I also take offence, because I get name called in school. Letter D, If your sending me an E-mail, have spell check avaiable to you and your not sure of your spelling, then why not use it? Letter E, Unless I messed up that badly, there's really no reason for that anyway. Letter F, What I said about that game was nothing more then my opinion, meaning it's not necessarily correct, nor is it necessarily wrong. In my case, I don't believe that this game deserves to be called a Kingdom Hearts game, but like I said, this is nothing more then my opinion. All of these things can and will make me think your a bad person, when in reality your probably not. All in all, just don't do it. Follow these rules, and if you add-on and/or correct something, I'll give you credit for it. Note: Don't get discouraged if I don't answer you right away. Sometimes, I might be on the Computer and sometimes I'll be on Xbox Live or even on PSN. Your best bet is to send an E-mail, a PSN message and an Xbox Live message. That way if I don't get one of your messages, I'll still be able to get the other message. Even then, I might still not get your message right away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Act 9: Legal Junk, Special Thanks and Other Guides I've Done | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Legal Junk This guide is copyrighted and writen by me.
