Welcome to my Express Trophy Guide of Metal Gear SurviVe Read the whole guide, I put in random tips through the entire guide. Tips are optional and can be skipped, by why would you? Tips will be sectioned off by a couple of stars. There is nothing missable to where you'll need to make another save slot. In fact, if you read my guide, all you'll need is maybe a checklist for birds you'll need to eat. This platinum is by no means stressful. Best news? You won't even need to open up a youtube video! So here's the table of contents. They are in order as they are listed, so if it's hidden, just count from a trophies you do have. xHero-- xProduction-- xConstruction-- xEducation-- xAbility-- xCooperation-- xResults-- xSuppression-- xHunt-- xCook-- xHavest-- xMission-- xExploration-- xRevival-- xProficient-- xCommon Struggle-- xSlicer-- xRipper-- xImpaler-- xCrusher-- xMarksman-- xResponder-- xProtector-- xIron Wall-- xRod and Snake-- xLocksmith-- xComrades in Arms-- xSurveyor-- xSurvivalist-- xGlory-- xFoodie-- xCollector-- xProsperity-- xSpit-- xBad Meat-- xBest Buddy-- xHero-- Platinum This is the platinum trophy, get all the other ones to unlock this one. I need to note that I didn't put in the next 16 trophies. They are unmissable story trophies. 15 Bronze and 1 Silver. There are two endings, but they added in a mission replay after you beat the game, so you can immediately get both endings without any sort of save scummimg or worrying about a point of no return. *** In fact, if you can beat the game, do it asap. You'll get access to the Base Digs that give (wolf) cages, better crafting tables and sub classes. The faster you level up, the faster enemies can too. *** *** Learn how to do Salave Missions below in the guide in get a massive boost in EXP. The higher level you can do, the more dailies/weeklies you can do for limited bonuses (Btw, they require you to be at 45 for hard, if you join at 50 you'll be getting carried on the last wave, so you'll need to likely stay in normal a little longer than you think you should be if you plan on being an asset and not luggage). *** xProduction-- Bronze This is a trophy for crafting your first item. You talk to the tables and hold down whatever button it says to on an item you have enough of to make. I'm not trying to carry water for Konami, but it's really the easiest crafting I've seen in any of these style games on the market... so you really won't have an issue with this trophy. I'd still read the tips. *** Better crafting tables are unlocked by going through the story, and the final ones for beating Base Digs which will be needed for the Platinum. *** *** A mega tip for crafting? You can craft an MRS-4 (Green Assault Rifle) and it will come with a full clip of ammo automatically stored. Then you can dismantle it for half the parts back! You can do this with any gun, including junk but nothing comes close to the value of the MRS-4. *** *** Last crafting tip? You can repair and upgrade items at most tables... you upgrade by going to customize, then strenghten. If you do that, it will auto repair the weapon. *** xConstruction-- Bronze Just like above, but you'll need to use a special object at base that perma builds at your base. I'm pretty sure they make you do this. *** Get used to this menu, you SHOULD practice dismantling the scrap around base camp for free stuff and more room. *** *** You'll be building a lot. You can manage all base defenses with two outside rings of fences with increasing amount of AUTO turrets. Will explain in a trophy below better. *** xEducation-- Bronze This is the trophy for buying your first skill. Easy. I'm going to offer no suggestion on what to get first as you'll need to get everything any ways and you aren't a god damn robot. If you are, only buy the two handed sprint attack in the weapon section, and dex > all. Speed scalping also. *** The Spit skill is needed for a trophy, and used great with already exploding bombs. Don't get it for just the trophy, it's easy to get when you are maxed out. *** *** The sweep skill will also kill away grenades and enemy mortars. *** *** You can also do this with a melee weapon (not sure if it works with a none hip melee weapon though). This is a feature that needs to be in other games lol *** xAbility-- Bronze This is the trophy for getting your sub classes. You need to first beat the game, then you'll get a mission to rescue someone (the second area, I'm sure of). Then you should get a mission about a memory board. This unlocks your sub classes. For the platinum, as long as you don't choose the Scout first, you can leave him at 68, his last level grants no extra skill, thus not needed. *** Try to stick with one sub class till it hits 69 (even the scout class that doesn't really get anything from 68 to 69). The faster you get higher level, the faster you unlock better dailes in salvage missions. The more bonus exp you can get each day! (Normal, Hard, Extreme each give a bonus 600,000 Kubes!) *** Buy maybe a skill or two in your sub, but focus on getting your main level up to 40 asap. At 35 and 40, you can wear purple and gold items. Its also better to be a higher level overall. Say you are in hard, if you go in at 50, the last wave spawns level 54's. You might need to headshot each lil guy about 8 times! *** *** To help you decide the first class you want: Assault: Most Melee damage. Melee damage is only really important against the Devastator enemy. It's ironic that you actually do not need to ever fight these as they are daily/weekly enemies (not in the required standing missions) BUT no one ever automatches standing missions :( Most classes can one sprint attack kill anything if you match the day's perks are good. It also has a skill that lets you lure enemies towards him... can be used when there is a bunch above you to just fall off whatever cliff, bridge, roof, w/e they are on top of. Can real break some levels. Hunter: Does arrow stuff you never really need but has a skill that increases fire arm damage. I use this class for that skill alone, and use the rest as novelity. Only class to not only increase the damage of a gun, but the crit rate as well. Medic: Required to break times in Rescue missions, which aren't need for the platinum. HOWEVER, if I see a medic, and you use codecs to be funny, and generally do maid stuff like put down traps and spin the drill, I WILL CARRY YOU AND I WON'T MAKE FUN OF YOU NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU SUCK! (This does not include if you do malicious things) Scout: Has a lot of tryhard skills that can skum points pretty hard, all of which, expect stealth, can be found on equips. I'd suggest it for points, but you should be able to get your 30 1st place trophies by the time of platinum withouth trying... and you can do it solo. I treat this class in the opposite regard as the medic. *** xCooperation-- Bronze This is for just playing a salvage mission. This doesn't require you to win or even join up with another player. This is a free trophy. xResults-- Bronze This is for getting a performance evalution from a salvage mission, basically just beat one with any rank. I'm pretty sure you can also just leave the mission too by talking to the drill, but if you expect to get the platinum, this will happen and you don't need to worry. xSuppression-- Bronze This is for killing the two bosses this game has. I want to let you know, I hate the bosses. For single player bosses, if you are having trouble with them, level up! For multiplayer bosses (in dailies) match up to the day's perks (sometimes the day will give a bonus to fire damage and melee weapons, so use a fire melee weapon!) For both, you can murder using an MRS-71 sniper rifle (one with att+1 and crit damage boost +3 and grim ammo). The big mouth one just takes longer. Upgraded to level 5 of course. Grim ammo blueprint is only available in extreme. During your grind through hard, it might be wise to avoid the Jellyfish thing, takes too long with melee and it can hurt your ammo. The mouth one can be attacked on the ground much more safer and effectively. TWO BIG RULES ABOUT THE BOSSES IN MULTIPLAYER: 1. Don't be a scumbag and attack the boss during a wave. Even if the drill doesn't get hit, the other guy has to waste more ammo on harder difficulties. AND IF YOU ARE, PLEASE, PLEASE be a grown ass adult and attack the boss fast (using anything grim ammo basically). 2. Killing the boss grants 10% of the energy you need to get to S rank any mission a boss is in. Since the game cuts the drill off at certain points, it's best to kill the boss in 3rd wave to make it the shortest. You don't want wave 3 any longer than it needs to be. Breaking these 2 rules can get you kicked out of the cool kid's table. *** It's best to wait till the intermissions to attack the boss if you are doing princess damage. Break any of the top rules makes you a liability. *** xHunt-- Bronze This is for your first animal kill. You will no doubt be killing animals, and I will explain where to get those in the foodie trophy below. xCook-- Bronze You'll be cooking food like crazy through out the game, this is a free trophy. *** Food doesn't see to spoil all at once, so keeping piles isn't as bad as you'd think. *** *** Throw spoiled food in your bin, it turns into kitchen waste which can be used to make revive pills. xHavest-- Bronze There are 4 veggies through out the game. When you find them, save two and you'll be able to plant them. *** Potatos--> Next to the teleporter where the nurse was Onions--> After crawler part in ruins 2 Corn--> The sinq area North East in 1st Map Tomato--> Behind the ruin's 3 mansion If these farms get destroyed, you can return to these spots to get more if you waited long enough. *** xMission-- Bronze This is for doing your first order. Talk to the Ai pod thing at base to see the orders. Just do one, no doubt is there an easy one, like collect some plant or craft something. xExploration-- Bronze Send folks out to a mission, easy. Please note, after you get this trophy, you aren't required at all to ever use this feature again, but it helps. *** Troops ususally never die from one trip if they are fully healed *** *** Use fast missions to kill off "modest" gabage crew members or ones you no longer need (explained below in another trophy) *** *** +At higher ranks, you'll unlock a 1 day mission that gives 1 million extra EXP and another that gives you a gold upgrade case *** *** +If you actually get 1000 SV coins, making a second character grants another exploring team slot for the same price (and another play through the game) *** *** +If you want to platinum asap, focus on animal parts you'll need for crafting quivers and other survival equipment. *** xRevival--- This is for using the revive pill. Simply die and hit the obvious option to revive. *** Try to avoid using this if you clear see someone trying to revive you, they may need the revive trophy below and it might make their day! *** xProficient-- Silver This is for getting to max level. Besides buying the boost in the SV store, nothing can really be said besides get to level 69, find friends, and steam roll extreme. You don't need to play extreme or even ever go online, but you'll be extending your play time like crazy. *** Try to log on everyday to do the dailies, which pump out an extra 600,000 (3 times if you can do extreme). *** *** As mentioned above, there is an explore team mission you can do that gives 1 million Kubes, and doing Base Camp digs gives some too. The one everyone does gives like 3 or 4 mil, I forget, but you'll be doing those for other things as well. *** *** During single player, if you find a walker gear near a mining movable sinq spot, use it for an easy boost. *** xCommon Struggle-- Silver This is for beating each wave of every standing mission in the game. 2 on easy, 3? on normal, and all 5 levels on hard. If you save this for the end, as in after you max out every class, you will have a better understanding how the game works... don't bother trying to solo them till you are end game. Once you start doing extreme with people, you'll be swimming in items as well. If you do the dailies as I suggested above, you'll notice there is no need for boss killing equipment, as devastators don't even show. Extreme doesn't have a standing mission and was added post launch, so you don't even need to worry about elements. Trust me, if you wait till after you got extreme S+ ranks down, you'll be knocking these S ranks off on your first try. Rescue missions also aren't needed. S ranks aren't even needed, you just need to let all the time tick down in each level without the drill being blown up. Creature lock down works great solo (decoy's on oil or out of reach to make them fall or swat mindlessly... or air cannon - fence - frost trap [ -->||__ Dig it lol]). as well as being a scumbag wormhole camper and placing turrets. Save these for the end or ask a friend to help you, if it's the last thing you need to do, you can afford to use a lot of materials... remember, you can always bring in materials from the supply box thing... but also remember, anything you bring in gets slapped in a shared stock with in that mission and won't be returned (along with anything crafted in the mission). As long as you target bombers (fire arrows or AP ammo), nothing should really hurt you. Normally to get S ranks, you need to keep the drill from getting hit... to keep the speed up. While I'd still speed, you don't need to worry about a stray hit. xSlicer-- Bronze This trophy is for getting 300 kills with 1 handers. If you find you are getting hit using this tiny weapon, there are two good places I found to boost weapons: 1: There is a camp to the northeast of where you start, the same place you do a mission at. It has a bunch of level 2 wanders. This is perfect for practice and can be used every time you are about to call it quits for the night. 2: The second ruins area has a bunch of crawlers in a room you drop into. Just take serum? I think, because they can poison you. *** Just because you get a gold sickle, don't throw away your purple stun rod, if you are a 1 hander user, you may want an element for extreme. *** xRipper-- Bronze Same as above only it's with using 2 handed weapons, can easily be done both areas I listed above. *** If you get purple 2 handed weapons with ice/fire with the attack +3 perk, it may be wise to save them as they will usually be way stronger than the gold versions (as you won't have as many upgrades for it by the same time). *** I suggest getting used to "great swords" or two handers as the game calls them... it is on the hip and comes in two+ elements. They also have the easiest sprint attack to spam on devastators. *** *** If the game doesn't tell you: Elements, if something has an element, ONLY the two other ELEMENTS can damage them. *** xImpaler-- Bronze Same as above, only it's with using thrusting weapons. Not sure how this does VS the crawlers, but this isn't a bad weapon to start using before you get the bow. *** While you can make a stronger purple +3 spear than a gold one in the same manner as above, it has no element so it's not that important. It's also not that profound as spears generally don't get much stat gain when upgraded. *** *** If using using spears, I'd suggest getting the 3rd combo hit. It's also a great weapon to keep a high headshot pencentage. *** *** 20 Obols from events can be used to craft a primary holder that can equip two "back" weapon. *** xCrusher-- Bronze Same as above, only you'll need hammer kills. If you go to the second area, make sure you have downward fall attack and use the crates to get a height advantage as you can be comboed dead during a long swing. I mean, you'll have twenty of them on you lol. (I think there is 42 in the area). *** While the purple hammers don't have an element like the spears above, they upgrade well enough that if the daily doesn't have a beefy element bonus, it's worth saving. Again, this is if the weapon has an attack +3 on it... and again, usually the Gold weapons don't, and take MUCH more and longer to upgrade. *** *** 20 Obols from events can be used to craft a primary holder that can equip two "back" weapon. *** xMarksman-- Bronze This trophy is for getting 300 kills with any bow. This is a very easy trophy and likely you won't need help with it. *** Absolutely keep any purple bow you get with a +3 attack perk on it. It will most likely out perform any gold bow, and MUCH MUCH easier to upgrade. Unless you are using grenade rounds. *** *** Using fire or ice arrows with element boosting gloves can wreck extreme. *** *** You can get this in a single extreme run of salvage if you do double bows! Obols! *** xResponder-- Bronze This is for getting 300 interceptor kills, which include turrets and elemental floor panals you get for free each time you log in. You shouldn't need too much help doing this with all your runs in hard. A single turret can easily lock down a portal, walkways, for an entire round and rack up effortless kills. If you are in a hurry, use the basic blue auto turret, there is a trophy that unlocks just for that at the bottom of the list... !!! In the event I'm dead wrong, you can always pause the game to see if what you just killed with counts as whatever you want it to count as. This is the results screen, I believe? I only say this because this might require the gun turret you manually operate, which isn't hard at all and a very cheap gunpowder solution to saying ammo through normal. !!! xProtector-- Bronze This is for killing 300 things with your defensive units. These are things like spike and wired walls and fences. The first area I suggested way up above? If you use that, you can farm the "Spits" for that trophy using spiked baricades in this area with little fear of the level 2 enemies. The second area is more dangerous, but if you go down there, lure them to one side, and start placing traps like crazy! xIron Wall-- Bronze This is for getting a PERFECT defense... as in NO DAMAGE at all! A single mortar chip for 8 damage will void this! This is in a base dig. Best suggestion? You'll see a Base Dig plan that only has two sides... by the time you are wrapping up this platinum, you'll be able to use guns that will nut shot everything in a single shot. Just do it a couple times till you start remembering where they spawn. Half are usually on one side, then the last half on the other. If it has enemies that piss you off, like mortars, you can place auto guns where they spawn. *** Use AUTO turrets for defense WHEN YOU ARE THE DEFENDER. Use MANUAL turrets for defense WHEN YOUR CREW IS DEFENDING. *** xRod and Snake-- Bronze This trophy is for reviving 30 teamates. This is the ONLY ONLINE trophy. Besides normal play, two things you do: 1. Find a boost buddy 2. Go hard when the daily has a negetive modifier which increases the enemy's damage. xLocksmith-- Bronze This is for opening a hard chest without screwing up. I'm not sure if it needs to be on the first try (as in that you can cancel and try again or not), but once you get to the end game, your crew members will ONLY give out hard chest side missions (when a chest side mission is selected). So it's not like there are limited chests or anything, they are pretty common and you should be able to do hundreds of these in the future. xComrades in Arms-- Silver This is just for beating 50 salvage missions, something you'll do way before you unlock every skill. If by some reason you got your online 30 revives, and all the standing missions and want this? You can just do easy missions. *** While there is non event daily for easy, you can still do a easy one twice to get your free book "order" each day. *** xSurveyor-- Silver This trophy is for getting 100% ON BOTH MAPS. This isn't that bad, it helps you locate mostly every hidden chest out there. Take your time, each time you return to base, more spots will be filled in. This makes it easier to get those corners on mountain edges. When you have a place filled in, the lil wifi-esqe symbol lights up... when you see it flick while trying to get an out of reach square, you got it, then return! I didn't have to, but you can use watch towers to help this. There is no doubt tricky and scumbag spots. The waterfall area, you might need to dip over the ledge and hang... and there is a microscopic spot you need to run to at the end of a cliff... while in that dust that kills you! I started each area by going around the edges... then filling in the middle, then the cliff faces. While danger is a thing, if you are focusing on a tiny spot, you can B-line to it without worrying if you keep checking back at base. Just make sure that you need to return to base for anything to count. xSurvivalist-- Silver This is the trophy you get for staying alive for 140 days and 15 hours. I honestly don't even think you can screw this up, because the game gives you an option to restart. If anything, you can always rage quit, and that works, too! If you somehow screw this up, you can always wait till end game. You'll eventually get a ton of farm animals, water tanks, and crops to where you can literally sleep 5 days in a row, eat, repeat, till you unlock this. xGlory-- Gold This trophy is for getting 30 1st place finishes. I'm not going too far in depth because I don't want point whores AND you can do this solo in easy salvage missions (which can be solo'd with an MRS4 and a Bow). As you'll be the only player, you'll get first every time! *** Everyone has their styles, I prefer to go for headshots. Each munchkin is worth 10 points. A headshot gives you +10. doubling the the value of each potential little enemy. When you get 50, you get an additional bonus 500... effectively turning your first 50 headshots into TRIPLE! This happens again at 100, giving you 1000 free points. That's right, QUAD POINTS! But wait, there's more! If no one else gets the 50 headshot bonus 500, you get another 100 points for winning it at the end... AND ANOTHER 100 for winning the most headshots overall! *** xFoodie-- Silver First off, this game has a lot of crafting modalities within the food area. Grill, Soup, Smoke, Boil, Bake, and Speciality things all need to be unlocked, the three last ones are unlocked in Base digs post game. This also includes raw meats for each animal, the ration, and each veggie (raw and grilled, tomatos can't be grilled) and mashed potatoes. Rotten foods do not count. Smoking takes wood and keeps items from dying, boil takes a lot of veggies, bakes requires milk and flour, and specialities take crazy items, like the rare items that animals drop. Don't worry about the veggies/milk, if you wait two days with a decent base dev crew, you'll have enough of each for almost every recipe. Milk regens super fast too from all goats. Now, get your note pad. The thing that gets tricky is once you open a new food crafting table, new recipes won't be added until you catch that animal again, sometimes... but generally you'll get the pattern... like certain things no wolve is apart of, and usually if you see one sheep or rodent in the tabs, you should go find all of them again as that new table probaby has recipes for them all. Before I start with locations, I know for a fact the LAST food table is that speciality thing. It only has 5 recipes. ------------------------------Sheeps There is no urgency with sheep, if you collect equal amounts of them in your cages, you will never have trouble crafting anything sheep related by the time you end the game. The odd parts are used sparsely amoung custom camo colors for gear, again, to the point where you'll have as much as you'll need. Boer Goat: From the 2nd Map's waypoint where the bridge is out, if you cross it you can climb up a place to the left with green tarped fences around it. Go to it and climb up the ledge next to the enterance to find two. (Hornbill and African Wild dog are here too). Cashmere and Kabual Sheep: These are every where, and randomly spawn in the medium animal side quest close to the base camp in the 2nd Map. (The black stork is also here). Nubian: Found everywhere in the beginning, but commonly next to the Rare white bear you'll get a side quest for in the 2nd Map. (The Eagle is also here). -----------------------------Doogies Unlike goats and horses, you don't get wolf ranches, and unlike bears, they are used in A LOT of crafting recipes. Try to get 2 Stripped Jackels, 1 African wild dog, and 1 Anubis. Anubis is used in a few surival equips, but no where to the extent the wild dog is... which is also WAY less than the amount of items the Stripped Jackel is needed for. You may actually, at one point, need to switch them all to jackels lol. Grey wolves are used in A MASSIVE amount of camo colors, but they are cosmetic and serve no purpose in trophy hunting. Grey Wolf: There will usually be 4 wolves at the northeast waypoint in the 1st Map. (The raven, and a rodent is also here) African Wold Dog: Second map, go to the teleporter where the broken bridge is, they will be right outside. (the hornbill and boer goat are also here). Stripped Jackel: The teleporter in the 2nd Map's 2nd area's save zone. They will be immediately outside to the left. (There is a giffon and a rodent here as well). Anubis: Random side quests will have you go after a rare animal, he might be one of them. Make sure if you see one, catch it. You can always "Return to your last save" and empty a cage. *** If you do the cages like I suggested with the wolves, there will be no need to save scum carve them or send explore teams out days to look for them. *** -------------------------------Bears Bears are easy to find, and don't have a lot of things that require crafting with that need to be worried about. Brown Bear: Any time you get a side quest with a large animal, it is a brown bear. White Bear: Sometimes you'll get a rare animal side quest, and sometimes it will be him. If you play the game, if you see a rare quest in the area you are used to getting a large animal, it's probably him. --------------------------------Rodents Rodents aren't hard to find, they just can't be "grown" lol. They respawn pretty quick and usually come in 3's and 4's. After you get all types of these you need, make sure to smoke the extras. Gives a speed boost and a GREAT alternative than using the 40 onion zerba shitcake. Gerbil: Two are at the first watering hole at the beginning of the game. Pika Thing: There is a safe zone all the way to the east in the 1st Map (one you can't just teleport to). There should be 2 or 3 on the far ledge to the very back of this safe zone. Other Rodents: I can't think if there is just two more kinds of hedgehogs, but generally the rest of them are at other teleporter bases. They'll just be squeeking along right in the middle. You should be teleporting all the time when you are about to turn the game off for the night, to pick up items, just always take note of the lil guys. There is also a spot behind the big orange base in the 2nd Map which has rodents, I'm not sure if they are exclusive to there... so if you are missing a type, try there. ----------------------------Birds While birds respawn fast, they usually take ammo, and more time to hunt than anything. Combined with the fact you'll need sometime SIX feathers to make some survival items (the trophy below will explain that more in depth) and (uneeded) camos, they can be a pain. I suggest returning to your last save if you don't get a feather. This saves ammo, and not that bad if you hit all the spots (hornbill and raven don't have feathers) after you are about to wrap things up at night so they will respawn at the end of your next day of playing. There are two types of birds in this game, junk birds like hornbill and raven, and then everything else. For all birds, take a silenced weapon to hit the sitting ones, and shotguns for the ones that fly. Also, bring watch towers incase the dead birds fall on buildings or stuff. You'll need at least six of each of the non junk bird feathers I believe for all your crafting needs. (Or eagle claws). Smoke the extras, they can be used in dailies to counter thirst and famine. Raven: Almost sure there is one at the 1st Map's base camp. Also right outside the teleporter at the far northeast of the 1st Map. Might land on a junk car. Hornbill: The 2nd Map's safe zone area where the broken bridge is. Look up. I have no clue where they land. Griffin Vulture: The safe zone in the middle of the 1st Map, best reached by going directly east of the first teleporter you most likely activated. There is two here, try to wait till they aren't over rocks... might be tricky as one might clip through the mountian. Often on rocks and sometimes tall wreckage, in the case of the wreckage, fire a warning shot. Lapped Faced Vulture: The 2nd Map's second area's safe zone, there will be two flying. Try to spook the one if it land on the water tower, it usually falls and stays up there. White Stork: The huge and most south safe zone in the 1st Map (where the first bear is) there is FOUR of them. Some land often. They are little, so try to shotgun one at a time and track them as they fall. Black Stork: Right outside the 2nd Map's base camp. They are safe to kill anywhere they land. There is always two of them. Eagle: In the 2nd Map, the safe zone that is the most northeast in the 1st part of the map (where you see "sally"), there is two. Avoid killing them if they land on "Sally" and watch where they are above it while flying. Jehuty: Sometimes spawns as a rare animal side quest. Make sure you see what you need, and I would suggest killing this thing (usually the restart to last save option if you screw up) till you get them. It's the rarest animal, as the other rare guys can be caught. ---------------------Horses Just like the sheep, they aren't used in enough recipes at crazy rates like a few wolves, and you get 2 extra ranches later on. Trust me, you'll have all the horse stuff you need. Zebra: Right outside (to the open cliff area) of base camp of the 2nd Map's start. There is usually 3 right there. Donkey: Outside the teleporter. The one at the broken bridge safe zone area in the 2nd Map. You can either climb up the immediate cliff to the left or go around it. There is a chest up there too! Oikipie Thing: Pretty sure this pops up as a rare animal... if not, keep doing all medium and rare animal side quests till you get on. I would highly recommending completely emptying a cage for these if you find them. xCollector-- Gold This is the trophy for getting every armor, weapon, and survival item. This DOES NOT include any gold item, and only one purple survival item. Broken items counts as the same as a standard one you may have a blue print for. I'll list them below, but quick advice? For all weapons and armors, SAVE ALL YOUR GREEN, BLUE, AND PURPLE Cases till after you have a ton of resources... as you actually need to craft these items. As you play, you notice you can hold 100 weapons and 100 armors. As these fill up through out your adventure, dismatle ALL doubles, keep 1 of each. Once you feel like you have enough cases and materials to craft them all to make a run for this trophy, open the cases and start crafting one of each. Trust me, you'll be swimming in doubles and triples of every purple item. This way? Do it once, and do it right (with no checklist!) Save them all until you craft all your survival items needs, THEN return here to see what you missed. For survival items, you'll need two first bags, the two grenade pouches, the first two molotov holders, and quivers... 2 of the first of each of the regular, heavy, rpa, fire, electric, frost, and explosion. The only exception is the purple regular quiver (no other purple survival item is needed). To unlock recipes for these, the crap ones are unlocked by completing normal Salvage missions, and the rest are unlocked on hard. Again, the exception is the purple regular quiver... which is unlocked usually on your first extreme victory. I highly suggest write a list of all the feathers you need, so you can do bird trips at the end of your play session, and knock them out. If you wait a day of active play, they all usually come back. Pelts can be caged, and you can no doubt see the stripped guy is used in a lot. Anything you can find in a chest, you should be able to track done during your survey trophy. ------------------------------Heads Whites: Soviet Beret, Skull Cap, Baseball Cap, Jungle hat Greens: Balaclava, Cowboy Hat, Beret, Military Helm Blues: Hunter Cap, Reinforced Facemask, Plated Ski Mask, Protective Helm, Light Protective Helm, Ghille Hood Type I Purples: Ghillie Hood Type II, Helm & Visor, Plated Helm, Armored Field* Helm *My notes are unreadble, may be a different word. *** No purple head really is worth using over a gold item, they have nothing really unique to worry about. Gold heads generally other dex, skills, and abilities that help you not die. *** ---------------------------Armors Whites: Harness, T-Shirt, BDU, Light Soviet Chest Rig, Tactical Vest Green: Tactical Scarf, Plated Vest, Chest Rig, Soviet Chest Rig Blues: Military Vest, Tactical Hood, Cold* Weather* Vest, Rib Cage Vest, Shoulder Hoodie, Urban Armor, LRR Concealemt, Heavy Chest Plate Purples: heavy Plate Vest, Battle Dress, Rigid Blast Vest, Interwoven Vest, Canvas Jacket, Stealth Armor, Heavy Marble/Metal* Vest, Carrier Vest, Recon Vest, Ghille Suit, Armored Fatigues, Hardend Battle Armor *My notes are unreadble, may be a different word. *** Defense really doesn't matter too much, most armors usually give out vit, and more importantly what you should look for is ammo forgiveness? Basically some purples, and most golds have skills that will let you throw, arrow, or shot with a random chance of not using up ammo. This can help great in the long run. *** --------------------------Gloves Whites: Soviet Field Gloves, Field Gloves Greens: Tactical GLoves, Diamond Dog Gloves, Light Elbow* Protectors Blues: Tactical Sleeves, Hard Elbow Protectors, Urban Armor Gauntlets, LRR Concealment Purples: Battle Dress Gauntlets, Armored Fatigue Gauntlets, Hardend Battle Gauntlets *My notes are unreadble, may be a different word. *** Gloves vary a bit in dex, str, and a couple skills, but generally look out for gloves that add element damage and keep the best one you can find. This can increase your damage from not killing with a single headshot to killing that same target with a body shot. *** ---------------------------Pants (May of got colors wrong) Whites: BDU, Tactical BDU, Soviet Combat Pants Greens: Heat Resistant Pants, Urban Combat Pants*, Urban Armor*, Knee Protectors Blues: LLR Concealment Purples: Battle Dress, Ghillie Suit, Armored Fatigues, Hardened Battle Gear *May be blue rarity *** Purple pants usually don't vary enough to worry. For gold, there is a skirt that not only adds the most dex, but straight increases run speed too. This is why you see it everywhere. *** --------------------------1 Handers White: Rusty Machete, Crowbar Green: Portable Shovel, Survival Machete, Shock Rod Blues: Combat Machete, Spiked Bar Purples: HF Baton, HF Machete ------------------------2 Handers Whites: Bat Greens: Battle Ax, Heavy Bat Blues: Master Key, Flame Bat Purples: Shock Bat*, Flaming Skull Machete, Frozen Skull Mechete *For some reason, I think this is a blue item or doesn't exist. -----------------------Spears Whites: Pipe Spear Greens: Survival Spear Blues: Bayonet Spear, Shock Spear, Armor Piercing Spear Purples: Drill Spear ----------------------Hammers Green: Sledge Hammer Blue: Blade Chopper, Heavy Sledge Hammer Purple: Drill Hammer ---------------------Bows Green: Survival Bow Blues: Recurve Bow, Composite Bow Purples: Tacictal Bow* *May be another purple bow, I forget at the moment. It shouldn't be hard to tell after you put in enough time to max out all your skills. -------------------------Fire Arms All from memory, all asterisks may not exist. Sorry, you really shouldn't need to look these up, and should be crafting weapons as you get them. I did and that's why I didn't write any of them down. 9mm: White Burkov, Green Giest*, Blue Giest .45: Green AM, Blue AM*, Purple AM .44: Green WU, Purple WU 12gauge: Green Rasp, Blue Pump, Purple Pump 5.56: Green MRS4, Blue MRS4, Blue SVG, Purple MRS4 7.62: PG something... the only 75 round LMG 7.62: (Sniper) Blue M2000, Purple MRS71, Purple B-something-Dragnov-knock off. Make the sling shot too. ---------------------------Survival Equips As I mentioned above, just craft ALL the equipment except the purple things... except the regular large purple quiver. xProsperity-- Bronze This trophy is for getting a full crew of 30 people at camp. Simply keep rescuing folks from the random side quests given by your current crew. You can usually grab and run with them as soon as you get to the area. Take note where reenforcement trackers come in, as this will always happen. *** When looking for the best crew, you need your AT Virigl thing to judge the person first. Then you need to manually place the person in each different job. In one group, he will be "modest" (which is garbage) or "positive" (keeper). *** *** You can get to S rank with 3 people in a job, but that takes a bunch of training manuals... which can increase recruits from "positive" to "adequate" to "the best". *** *** The only job you really need at S is the Dev team to upgrade purple/gold armors, bows, and melee weapons to level 14 and 15. It may take 10 positive troops to do that without training manuals. If you make another character, you can upgrade freely on the character with the S rank team. Stuff is shared. *** xSpit-- Bronze You need to buy the skill that lets you kick away enemies. Then you need to do it to an enemy and have them stick onto spikes. Simply make one of the few spike walls or spike pikes, and head to that camp to the northeast of where you start the game. It has 12 or so low level enemies safe to kill. Do this every night before you turn the game off and you'll have it with no pressure way before you do any of the other lengthy trophies. xBad Meat-- Bronze You need to place a barrel infront of the big mouth boss, and he has to do his bite move and eat that explosive barrel. Just take a bunch of barrels (and healing items) and try to reconize his tell before he does it. He reacts to you, so he obviously won't do this attack if you are far away. xBest Buddy-- Bronze This is an oddly out of place trophy that requires you to kill 300 enemies with an auto turret. Not sure if the gattling one does the trick, so use them both!
