to call this Faq the final version, as I normally write the Faq before I post and make sure that I have found all of the collectibles and various other stuff before it is posted online. 2).Introduction [YKC.002] Welcome to the second installment of Bioshock 2. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about the game, I thought that it was going to be a disappointment. But I was totally proven wrong it is one of the most coolest awesome games that i have ever played on the PS3, it follows from the Bioshock so well, in which i must admit I was a bit concerned in how they were going to pull it off because i thought that they really didn't leave the last game open for a sequel. The game is based 10 years after the last game and Rapture has fallen into more disrepair, it also has a new leader called Sofia Lamb who has taken the postion of the leader of the family and you basicly the first Alphia Series (Big Daddy). The reason why i am writing this this walktrough because there are so many things that you can do in this game and you can miss it all if you don't explore. Right now down to the nitty and gritty stuff. 3).Actual Game Play [YKC.003] In this section I will explain all the various things that you can do in the city of Rapture. 3.1).Starting A New Game [YKC.004] Basically, this is the starting screen you get after all of the videos. On this screen you have 3 choices, 1st choice is starting a new game, 2nd choice is to continue the game from where you last saved and left off and the 3rd choice is the game options where you can select what gameplay is best for you. When you select a New Game you are given a choice of difficulty, easy, difficult and lastly veteran, select the one that suits your playing skills. After that, you get a screen where you choose the screen brightness like how dark or bright you want the screen when all of this is done you are now ready to play Bioshock. 3.2).Vita-Chambers [YKC.005] These are tall cylinders with lightning bolts that pulsate in the inside of the tube. Basically, these are what is known as resurrection tubes, when you die you will resurrect in the nearest Vita-chamber with all of your weapons and plasmids. You can turn these off in the options menu if you like, but I would suggest keeping it on when you play the veteran difficulty. These Vita- chambers are dotted every in the city of Rapture apart from the last level. 3.3).Collectables [YKC.006] Collectables are bits of household items and rubbish that you can find around Rapture as you go through the levels, you can also find them on the dead bodies of the Splicers and Big Daddies. When you get enough of these items you can go to a U-Invent and make them into ammunition and hack tools, you will also need to get certain items to get some of the Tonics in the game. Doing this will help towards the Tonic Collector achievement. 3.4).Collecting Health [YKC.007] There are three ways in which to collect health in Rapture, the first way is to collect it from Health Stations, to do this just walk up and press X to use it it does cost about 16 dollars. One thing that I do is that I hack the Health Stations for two reasons the 1st reason is when the enemy goes to use it it will drain their health, the 2nd reason is it is cheaper to use. The other thing is if you don't have enough money you can always shot the Health Station and it will drop some Health. The second way is finding little Health containers that are dotted around Rapture, they look like little white containers on the ground or from the Health Stations that I mentioned above. The last one is collecting hearts from the Spider Splicers when you kill them press search and you will get a picture of its heart. This can only be done from the Smuggler's Hideout and onwards plus not all of them do this. 3.7).Collecting Eve [YKC.008] Like collecting Health, Eve is basically a hypo in which you inject into your arm and thus powering your plasmids. You find these lying around Rapture as well as an Eve holding machine just walk up and press X to use it. 3.8).Collecting/Spending Adam [YKC.009] Adam is the only source of payment that is excepted at the Gatherer's Garden. To get the Adam you have to go around on each level in Rapture and find the Little Sister's that are guarded by the Big Daddies, more is explained in the Enemies section of this walkthrough. When you get the Adam go to one of these Gatherer's Gardens and you can use it to upgrade your plasmids and by Tonics as well. 3.9).Hacking The Security Systems [YKC.010] Hacking is an important part of survival in Rapture the things that you can hack in Bioshock are Turrets, Safes, Security Cameras, Security Bots and lastly as I mentioned above Health Stations. To use the hacking system just fire your hacking tool into the equipment that you want to hack and then press X and you will you will see a little gauge pops up on your screen, and what you have to do is try and get the arrow in the green part of the gauage and press X you have to do this so many times and then you will get told that you was successful. If you get it in the blue part of the gauage you either get some free food, ammo, and lastly money if you get it in the white part you get a elecrtric shock and if you get it in the red it sets a alarm off and security bots come after you, but I will say if you successfully hack it they the alarm stops and they go away. 3.10).Gene Banks [YKC.011] Gene Banks are basically used to change you Plasmids and your Tonics and as often as you like you are not limited to how many times you can use it. To use them just walk up and press A and just choose what you want, you can't hack Gene Banks. They are dotted all over the place. 4).Enemies [YKC.012] Right now the enemies in Bioshock 2. Basically they are the same as they where in the original Bioshock, you still have the Thuggish Splicer, Leadhead Splicer, Houdini Splicer and last off all the Spider Splicer. The only difference is that there is now a new Splicer called the Brute. Also you still have the Big Daddies which were also in the original Bioshock, these where the Rosie and Rosie Elite and the Bouncer and Bouncer Elite. But there are new editions you have the Rumbler and also the Alpha Series Big Daddy's which were the first ever Big Daddy's. Below is a description of each enemy. 4.1).Thuggish Splicer [YKC.013] These are the most common of Splicers and not the strongest; they will attack you with various tools that they find lying around Rapture in which they can use as a club. Most of them opt for the lead pipe, but basically what ever they can get their hands on, later on you will encounter a type of Thuggish Splicer that will have electrified their bodies and they are also immune to the Electro Bolt plasmid. They do a reasonable amount of electrical damage to you they are also not the most brightest of enemies because all they do is rush at you heads on, they will commonly leap at you before they attack. They also try and bring their weapon down on to your head as they leap at you and are susceptible to most types of attacks but not your anti-personnel ammunition save this for tougher enemies your normal ammo is quite sufficient, especially when you use your Incinerate and Electro Bolt. 4.2).Leadhead Splicer [YKC.014] These are another low level type of Splicer but unlike the Thuggish Splicer they like to use firearms then a club like weapon they really prefer pistols mainly, but you find later on in the game that they will be carrying Machine guns. Unlike the Thuggish Splicers the Leadheads like to keep the distance between you and them and they strafe in and out of cover, but they are still quite easy to take down though and you dont need to use any of your special ammo. When you start to attack you can also use your Electro Bolt to shock them then use your Pistol, Machine Gun as well as your Shotgun to finish them of. 4.3). Brute Splicers [YKC.015] This is the first new enemy encounter of Bioshock 2, the Brute Splicers. These guys are just basicaly over sized splicer's covered in raw muscle which makes them extremely strong. The other thing about the Brute Splicer is that it bears down on its enemies and then does a shoulder charge at you and then does a hail of vicious hammer blows. If you are to far away for him use his hammer blows he will pick up any rubble that is near him and throw it at you. 4.4).Spider Splicers [YKC.016] I would say that out all of the Splicers in Rapture that you encounter these are the most disturbing Splicers of all, they are mainly acrobats and the only weapon they carry are meat hooks nothing else. They evade your fire by doing acrobat stunts i.e. they dodge your bullets by doing cartwheels and back handsprings, they also can crawl along the ceiling so watch out, you will hear them before you see them crawling along the ceiling because they make a clanging noise with there meat hooks. There main attack is to fling razor sharp sickles at you then disappearing into the darkness so that it is more difficult for you to find them and kill them, the next attack that they have is when they are on the ground they like to use close range combat basically they come in close and try to disembowel you with their vicious meat hooks. My advice is dont take the Spider Splicer lightly they are the most lethal inhabitants of Rapture, when you see them deal with them quickly with Winter Blast or Incinerate and Anti Personnel rounds. When you have killed them search their bodies for their organs for their health restoring properties. 4.5).Houdini Splicers [YKC.017] The Houdini Splicers are a very advanced race of Splicer, because they have mange to master the wonderful arts of the ability to hurl ice, fire and also the ability to disappear in a lovely burst of a type of red gas and then reappear a few moments later somewhere else in the area. You can spend a long time in trying to kill these guys if you dont dispose of them quickly, basically get out your most powerful guns load them with Anti Personnel rounds and basically open fire when you see them. Also try to use your Winter Blast on their fireball throwing techniques or on them so that you have a chance to hit them before they disappear. 4.6).Bouncer and Elite Bouncer [YKC.018] These are one of types of Big Daddies; the sole purpose of the Bouncer is to protect the Little Sisters in the area that it is patrolling. This big lump of armour has a great big drill as a arm and has three main attacks, first of all he will charge at you in which for their size they can really move at a fast rate. Secondly that drill it has they will use it to slam into the floor and use it to disorientate everyone in the vicinity. The third attack is sometimes after it has charge at you it will use it drill to inflict a lot of damage on you especially your torso. The Elite Bouncer is basically the same as the Bouncer but much more faster and stronger as well more aggressive and more durable, the only to take down one of these is to use Electric Buck Shot or Anti Personnel Rounds. 4.7).Rosie and Elite Rosie [YKC.019] These are the second type of Big Daddies; the Rosie is slightly different to there counter part the Bouncer like they dont have a drill as a arm and they dont do close combat. They like to keep their distance from you as well as move back and forth from cover making sure that it is between you and the Little Sister it is protecting. The two weapons that the Rosie carries is a Rivet gun and Proximity Mines, the Rivet gun that they carry fires deadly metal projectiles with extreme accuracy plus tremendous velocity, but the downside is that the firing rate is not really exceptional but that is not a problem because the Rosie only needs to fire a few shots and even the toughest foes will be taken down. They also can fire the Proximity Mines with deadly accuracy and when they land they remain active indefinitely basically anyone who steps into the red ring they will go off you use this as an advantage because when you fighting them or any other enemy you can try and get to set them off. The Elite are stronger, durable and more aggressive. The only to take down one of these is to use Electric Buck Shot or Anti Personnel Rounds exactly like the Bouncers and Elite Bouncers. 4.8).The Rumbler [YKC.020] Now this is a new Big Daddy in the Bioshock Series he is a lot more mobile than the other Big Daddies and has less armour, His arsenal is a mounted RPG on his shoulder which fires non guided rockets and throws mini turrets at you as well. This combat style of his makes him have a great advantage in open spaces and he also seems to do well in long to mid-range spaces unlike his conter parts the Bouncers and the Rosies who are only made for close quarters combat, basically the Rumbler is designed to keep you on you on the move, and also the Rumbler can quickly turn the environment to his advantage in a combat situation. 4.9).Alpha Series [YKC.021] These Big Daddies are some of the early types before the modifications that the later Big Daddies had Like the Bouncers,Rosies, and the Rumbler such as the application of Pheromones. They basically like a armoured Splicer, they are also bonded with one Little Sister, which sadly meant that if they lose there Little Sister they would either fall into a coma or go completely insane over the lost of their Little Sister hence I said they look like a armoured Splicer. They also can carry Plasmids like Splicers and you character, they tend to use launchers, machine guns, and sometimes shotguns. Their armour is like your characters but it is more decayed and some of the arm is showing. 4.10).Little Sister [YKC.022] The Little Sisters are the forefront of the founder Andrew Ryans crazy plans for domination, basically they are innocent little girls with the Adam-infused species of sea slug in which turns them into an invincible stores and collectors of Adam. They move around in the citys ventilation holes and they only come out when their Big Daddy chaperons are about because they cant defend for themselves but they are invincible to damage for a little while but still they must not fall into the wrong hands, the Splicers would love to get their hands on them because they carry so much Adam. The only way to get your hands on the Little Sisters is to kill the Big Daddy that is protecting them, and then you only get a choice to Harvest or Rescue. If you choose to Harvest the Little Sister you will get the net of 180 of Adam but you have to live with the idea that you have killed an innocent little girl, if you choose to Rescue the Little Sisters then you only get the net of 80 of Adam but every three that you rescue Tenenbaum will send a valuable reward. 4.11).Big Sisters [YKC.023] These are one of the new enemies of Bioshock 2. The Big Sisters are basically like Big Daddy's but with extreme agility, they can jump around and perch on walls like Spider Splicers and dash around very quickly, they also have another abillites they can collect Adam from dead corpses just like the Little Sisters with the neddle that they carry. They do this so that they can power their Plasmids, which are mainly Incinerate and Telekinesis. They are heavily armoured as well and they can swim out in the ocean like you. The Big Sister is the last line of defence, what will happen is they are sent out only when the Little Sister is taken from the Big Daddy. They will hunt down the attacker and then send the Little Sister back to the system to start her work anew. 4.12).Turrets [YKC.024] These are the lone gunmen of Raptures security system. The intruder detection capability as they sense an enemy and open fire, they are fitted with a high calibre Machine gun, Rocket Propelled Grenades and a project flamethrower. Turrets can be dangerous but they do have their drawbacks, the first one is the Turret is stationary and only rotates from that point it move at all so it makes it easy for you to stay in a place where you can see and shoot it but it cant shoot you, the next one is that you can actually hear it when it starts to warm up its engine when it detects you and when it does this you can quickly run and hide. The last one is when you walk around you can sometimes see the red dot on top of the Turret. The basic way to attack these Turrets is to shock them with your Electro Bolt and then hack them because once these are hacked they then start to attack the enemy, in which this can be very helpful if the room is full or you have a big attack wave of Splicers coming your way. 4.13).Security Bot [YKC.025] The Security Bot only attacks when it is activated by alarm system if not they lie around basically on the ground, which makes it easier for you to hack them. When they are activated they will basically fly around and look for the culprit that triggered the alarm, which can be annoying for you because they have twin Machine Guns and if you get more than two of them on you they will make pretty short work of you. When they are pursuing you have two options, which are using the Security Bot shutdown switch all you have to do is pay the 20 dollar fee to disable them. The other option is to hack them, to do this you have to shock them first and then hack them. Then when you have successfully hacked them they will fly around you and follow you wherever you go, you can have up to two Security Bots. This can be very handy if you get caught out by a load of enemies. 4.14) Security Camera [YKC.026] The Security Cameras are basically mounted on walls as you go around playing Bioshock. They move from side to side and you can tell were they are as they make as whirling noise and have light on them, red means enemy and green means hacked. When they spot you it takes a few seconds for them to register you in which gives you a chance to zap it or move out of it's range, if it does go off a load of Security Bots will come and attack you. I personally would try and hack these. 5).Main Characters [YKC.027] In this section I will give a brief description on the main characters in Bioshock 2. 5.1).Augustus Sinclair [YKC.028] Augustus Sinclair ESQ was one of the key figures in the Rapture world, he started the business Sinclair Solutions and it turned out to be one of the most important Plasmid Research companies down there. His life started on the surface started in Panama some years before 1914, his grandfather worked on the Panama Canel and Sinclair believed he was doing a service for the greater good until good until his grandfather sadly drowned. This left an impressed effort on Sinclair, and he started to believe that effort was self-serving. He eventually moved to Georgia USA, with hopes of striking it rich by doing his own business endeavors. Eventually with his southern charm and his business savvy he made a name for himself in which attracted the attention of Andrew Ryan. When Rapture was created Sinclair took the invitation to further his own gain, while in Rapture he become one of Raptures societys top men by creating several successful business. 5.2).Sofia Lamb [YKC.029] Sofia Lamb has a Dr in M.D, Ph.d she is trained as a clinical Psyhiatrist, and arrived in Rapture in 1950, she worked as a missionary in Hiroshima Japan before and after the USA dropped the Atom bomb, in which she lost many of her friends and started a hatred towards the USA. It was Andrew Ryan who invited her down to Rapture to provide counseling for the isolated populace. After a while Andrew Ryan starts to dislike Sofia Lamb, so eventually he had some spies to gather information on her and she was sent to prison in Persphone Penal. After she got out and Jack killed Andrew Ryan , Sofia Lamb became the leader of Raptures 5.3).Eleanor Lamb [YKC.030] Eleanor Lamb is the daughter of Sofia Lamb and was the Little Sister of your character Subject Delta, she is also the one to bring you back from the dead ten years after the New Years Eve riots. Eleanor was basically risen by and taught by her mother Sofia and was kept in isolation from the other Rapture children, but this didnt stop her she use to sneak out to meet other kids in Rapture. When she was seven her mother was sent to Persephone, so Sofia left Eleanor with one of her patients and closet followers Grace Holloway. This didnt last long as Eleanor found out that Stanley Poole was a spy for Andrew Ryan and also he nearly brought Dionsysus Park to bankruptcy by over spending and having mad parties. So Eleanor confronted Stanley and threatened him that she was going to tell her mum, so in fear of being found out he kidnapped Eleanor and sold her to the Little Sisters Orphanage. 5.4).Subject Delta [YKC.031] Subject Delta is the character that you play in this game, he is the first Big Daddy to be bonded with a Little Sister and has a Delta symbol on the suit which is the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet, which means you are the forth counted test subject from Persephone. You was a deep sea diver on a job to find out why so many ships and submarines are disappearing in the Atlantic near the southwest part of Iceland. This is were you discover Rapture and they let you in and treat you like a hero and got given a nickname "Johnny Topside", when Ryan found out he thought you were a government spy and sent you to Persephone Penal colony. It was then you were turned into a Big Daddy. During the New Years Eve of 1958 you start your rounds as you normally would do with Eleanor, until you hear a scream and you notice that she is being attacked by four Splicers, you kill three but one manages to Hypnotize and Sofia Lamb comes in and tells you to kill yourself. 5.5).Dr Tenenbaum [YKC.032] Dr Tenenbaum was the first person to recognized this particular sea slug which produces the drug called Adam, when this was discovered she produced into something that everyone could use. Dr Tenenbaum and her colleague Dr Suchong collaborated an operation in which they used Little Sisters, in which they infused the Sea Slug in their bodies and sent them out to go around collect the used Adam from the dead bodies or Angles as they taught them to call the dead bodies that were scattered around Rapture, they called this the Little Sisters Project. After a while Tenenbaum had a change of heart because the Adam was causing a genetic splicing within Rapture, and is now starting to try and save the Little Sisters. She lives in secret hardly going out in the city, she also will show you gratitude to you if you help her and save the Little Sisters as well. 5.6).Dr Gilbert Alexander [YKC.033] Dr Gilbert Alexander worked for Frank Fontaine as a scientist then later for Andrew Ryan, he developed the pair bonding mechanism between the Alpha Series and the Little Sisters, his first bonding was Eleanor Lamb and your character. He was an ambitious researcher in the early days of Fontaine Futuristics, specializing in mechanical and robotic engineering. He also designed most of the automatic security system in the whole of Rapture. He created the Alpha Series, and also develop the pair bond in which lead to the nickname Big Daddies. He also worked on the creation of the Vita-Chambers with Augustus Sinclair and Dr Yi Suching. 5.7).Grace Holloway [YKC.034] Grace Holloway is the governor of Siren Alley and was a jazz singer blacklisted by Andrew Ryans rules for critical of his administration. She was given the title of governor by Sofia Lamb. Grace lived in Hooverville in St Louis, Missouri during the great depression in America. She moved to Rapture in Paupers Drop to further her singing career, in which after a certain time she became a blues singer and became very popular, eventually she found out that the Drop was much worse than the slums on topside. She started to work this into her repertoire about how Frank Fontaine and Andrew Ryan would profit from the poor and completely ignore their troubles and their needs, she even fell in love with a man called James and dreamed about having children with but this was dampened when she found out she could not have children. When you see her it is up to you to choose her fate. 5.8).Father Wales [YKC.035] Father Wales is a Lieutenant of Sofia Lamb. Simon and his brother Daniel were were architects of cathedrals in Ireland, they were so well known that they eventually caught the attention of Andrew Ryan and he asked them to design the city of Rapture, and after it was completed they decided to take up residence there. They continued to operate down ther until Rapture started to leak and they lost their credit, which means they could no longer get contracts. Simon started to blame himself for Rapture starting to leak, and kept saying that there was a fault in the designs. This is when he met Sofia Lamb and got exposed to her philosphies, and this is when he decided to change his name to Father Wells, and held religious services in Siren Alley, but as time went by he mixed his mythology with christian terms. When your character Jack killed his Father in Bioshock Father Wells adopted this and turned him into a god like person. 5.9).Stanley Poole [YKC.036] Stanley Poole is a former reporter for the Rapture Tribune and Stanley was the spy used by Ryan to infiltrate Lambs Rapture family. He was also paid by Augustus Sinclair when they became associates to keep the secrets about Sinclair Solutions unscrupulous secrets, also Sinclair offered Stanley a job in which he said would change history. This job was providing Andrew Ryan proof that Sofia Lambs ideas was a dangerous political movement which eventually lead to her arrest. He also wrote an article about a deep sea diver called Jonny Topside and showed it to Ryan but Ryan was not pleased and accused the outsider to be a government agent. When Lamb disappeared he was put in charge of Dionysus Park, but he abused it and nearly squandered most of Lambs money. When Eleanor found out she threatened to tell her mum he sold her to the Little Sister Orphanage, Lamb manage to escape he panicked thinking that Lamb was going to find out about his misdeeds, he flooded Dionysus Park killing all witnesses to his misdeeds. 6).Weapons [YKC.036] This is the weapon section. I will explain what weapons you get and also what upgrades you get from the Power To The People machines. I will say that there is only enough PTTP's in the game upgrade five of the weapons. You also can't uprade the Research Camera and also the Hack Tool 6.1).Drill [YKC.0.37] The Drill is a powerful offensive weapon, doing extensive physical damage. It can be used to deliver a direct uppercut, charge an opponent and knock them down, or drain its Health by direct boring. Unlike the Wrench from the original BioShock, the Drill will consumes fuel at first and if not careful you can run out quite quickly. Drill upgrades:- 1).Decreased fuel consumption 2).Greater damage 3).Reflects bullets and projectiles. 6.2).Rivet Gun [YKC.038] Rivet Gun is a single-shot, semiautomatic ranged weapon that fires high-speed Rivets. It is fast, accurate, powerful, and has low recoil. In addition to its base ammunition, its two alternate ammo types allow it to deal additional damage and deploy traps. Furthermore, the weapon can be upgraded. Rivet upgrades:- 1).Larger clip size more 2).Damage 3).Heating system. 6.3).Machine Gun [YKC.039] The Machine Gun is a Gatling style weapon that fires .50 Caliber Rounds. It has a very high rate of fire, a high-capacity magazine and is capable of inflicting tremendous amount of damage before having to be reloaded. Along with standard rounds it can fire antipersonnel rounds or armor-piercing rounds, dealing more damage against unarmored and mechanical enemies respectively. The weapon can also be upraded three times. Machine Gun upgrades:- 1).Damage upgrade 2).Recoil dampener 4).Bullet ricochet 6.4).The Shotgun [YKC.040] The Shotgun is a double-barrel, close-range weapon which fires Shells with wide blasts of pellets. It is a slow-firing yet devastating weapon up close, both on single and multiple targets. It can fire standard shells, along with metal slugs and incendiary ammunition. The Shotgun has 3 upgrades. Shotgun Upgrades:- 1).Damage output 2).Clip size 3).Electricity Shot 6.5).The Spear Gun [YKC.041] The Spear Gun is a single-shot, long-ranged weapon that fires high-powered Spears. It is a slow-firing, but powerful and accurate weapon from any distance. Its base ammunition is capable of skewering enemies to the scenery,
and its alternate ammo types allow the user to deploy electrical wires at will
and fire pointed rockets which detonate after a set amount of time. The Spear
Gun has three upgrades
Spear Gun upgrades:-
1).Damage
2).Zoom projectile
3).Increased firing rate.
6.6).The Grenade Launcher [YKC.042]
The Launcher is the last gun Subject Delta gets in the game. It is capable of
firing Grenades, dealing heavy splash damage to enemies, and can also fire
Proximity Mines that stick to surfaces and Heat-Seeking Rockets that home in
on targets. The Launcher has three upgrades.
Gernade Launcher:-
1).Increased clip size
2).Immunity to self-damage
3).Cluster bomb mechanism
6.7).The Hack Tool [YKC.043]
The Hack Tool is a tool for hacking Security Devices and Vending Machines at a
distance through the use of Hack Darts. Its base ammunition requires manual
input to hack machines, but one of its alternate ammo types can hack them
automatically. Its third ammo type comes in the form of Mini-Turrets, which
fire upon any enemy in their line of sight. The Hack Tool cannot be upgraded.
6.8).The Research Camera [YKC.044]
The Research Camera returns in the sequel, with a major change: instead of
taking photographs, the Research Camera records videos. Research bonuses are
now granted upon killing an enemy while recording, and killing the same enemy
using the same technique yields a smaller bonus than the first time. However,
there are still no upgrades for this tool.

8).Walkthrough [YKC.044]
In this section I will try and take you through Bioshock's 2 many levels. I
will tell you where all the goodies are and all the fights/battles that go on
in Bioshock 2. I will also explain where all of the Big Daddy's, and Big
Sister's are on each level. Well like I said before I hope this section helps
you to complete the game Bioshock 2. Also when I search the place I mean
search everything on the level in which you are playing. I will also try and
mentioned the Audio Diaries and where they are but I will be doing an separate
part for these further down in this guide. In this play through I save all the
Little Sister's as this is the only way to get most of the Plasmids/Gene
Tonics. I also won't be saying how to gather the Adam as that is quite self
explained.
8.1). Adonis Luxury Resort [YKC.045]
Little Sisters - {0}
Audio Diaries - (7)
This level starts out with a video of Rapture in it's hay day. The video is
based on the New Year's Ball in 1959. You are basically one of the first Big
Daddy's the Alpha Series, and you are protecting a Little Sister called
Eleanor Lamb. As the video goes on you hear her scream and you run after her,
as you find her you will see a group of Splicers trying to catch her to get
the Adam out of her. As you jump down you actually land on one of the
Splicer's and crush it's head, after that you then charge the remaining
Splicer's with your drill. After defeating that Splicer you knock the other
one out and then the last Splicer throws something at you and you turned
around and this is where you met Sofia Lamb for the first time in the game,
she tells you that Eleanor is not your daughter but hers and instructs you to
take of your helmet and she then hands you a Luger, she tells you to point the
Luger to your head and pull the trigger. You do that but not before you take
one last look at Eleanor.
After this video you wake up to the sound of Tenenbaum talking to you on your
radio in your helmet, you find out that it has been twelve years and you have
been in a coma since then. You wake up and take a look at yourself and this is
the first time that you get to see what you look in a puddle of water. When
you have control you find out that you are in a place called Adonis Luxury
Resort, take the chance to have a look around and search anything that is
search able, then make your way up the stairs (if you look into the Little
Sister vent you will see a Little Sister take a peep at you), as you reach the
top part of the stairs you will see an obstacle blocking your way, use your
drill to break it and go through the door way. In the Next area you will get a
glimpse of a new enemy the Big Sister these are basically a Little Sister as a
stroppy teenager (and we all know what that is like :-p) you see her knock
over a statue and then disappears. Make your way into the room and go down the
slope and search the area that is filled with water, and then look at the
writing on the floor just above the water line. Walk back and you will see a
generator and next to it is an Audio Dairy pick it up and listen to it and you
will find out that you have to start up the Generator. Go through the door
that says Plasmid Therapies and turn to your right and you will see a door
with a number written on the door backwards, put the code in and collect all
of the goodies in here, then go back and turn to your right again and search
this area, there is a eve dispensor on your left behind the counter. When you
are done walk to the Garden Gatherer and you will see a slightly older
Eleanor, pick up the plasmid and watch the short cutscene.
Go back the way you came and zap the Generator, and then kill any Splicer's in
the vicinity. After turning the generator back on make your way through the
door that has just opened, and go up the stairs turn to your right and search
the area make your way into the area. As you walk in this area you will see to
Thuggish Splicer's in the water zap them with electro bolt and make your to
the other side where the door is jammed by your next weapon the Rivet Gun also
search the Rosie for some ammo for the weapon. Go through the door and kill
the two Thuggish Splicer's in this area, search everywhere in here an then
take the stairs leading up. Right when you go through the door at the top of
the stairs a cut scene takes over and then afterwards you have to fight the
Big Sister until she runs away. This is going to be quite a tough fight as you
have not got much ammo and not many Plasmids but stick it out and eventually
she will run away. Follow her through the door and keep following her until
reach a big room watch the small cut scene.
You are now underwater this one of the new things that I like about this
character that you can venture forth out the buildings and on to the sea bed.
And that is exactly what happens, so make your way out of this flooded room
you will see a bathsphere with a corpse in search it for the last Audio Diary
and then head towards Rapture itself, when you reach the entrance to Atlantis
Express you will see the Big Sister swimming away from you to complete this
level just enter the room and dropping the water level in there.
8.2).The Atlantis Express Depot [YKC.046]

You start this level where you left off from the end of the first level after
Tenebaum finishes talking to you on your radio go thrugh the open door and
chase the splicer in front of you. At the top of the stairs you will see the
splicer go through a doorway follow and the door way closes and locks down,
Go through the open door on your right and hack the controls through the
broken window with the newly acuired hack tool. After that go through the now
unlocked door and hack the secruity bot on the floor follow the corridor and
you will come to a room were one of the trains falls down on the floor, and
then you get attacked by some Splicers. Go into the workshop and pick up the
loot and the Audio Diary and leave this area, and go through the door where it
says gate control, walk through and flip the switch. When this happens you get
a cutscene where you finally get to she Sofia Lamb again, after this you get
attacked by some of Lamb's splicers which causes you eventually to fall
through the floor.
When you stop falling you relise that you are underwater again so follow this
path until you get to giant fan don't forget to search the corpses along the
way. Go up the stairs and walk up to the Drafting room and you will told by
tenebaum that there is a secruity camera ahead and that you can hack it. Kill
the enimies in here and take all of the loot go through the door and you will
see another present from Elenor take it as it is the Telekinesis Plasmind and
now back track you way to where the giant fan is, if you look through the
blades you will see that there is a audio diary, use the Telekinesis to get
it. Go back through the Drafting room and you will eventually come to a big
room wih some Splicers down below hanging around a make shift fire collect the
Audio Diary on your left on top of the table, go through the Cafeteria door
and up the stairs and kill the two splicers when you leave the room and go
through the kitchen which is on fire and collect the Audio Diary in the
storage room back corner. Go back the way that you came and go up on the right
part of the destroyed train and you will come to matchtress and a suitcase
pick up the Audio Dairy here and make your way to the doorway and it will
close on you look to your left and you will see a Thuggish Splicer jamming the
door controls. Go through the door way on your right and use Telekinesis to
remove the lead pipe, now walk through the newly open door and turn to your
left and go down the stairs and you will see an Audio Diary. Go up the ramp in
front of you and then go up the stairs and at the top a Big Sister will drop
down and run away carry on up the stairs and you will ingage in a battle with
Lamb's Splicers now I did hack the Security Camera here to help a bit and I
just ran to the lift. Leave the lift and pick up the trap bolts and go up the
stairs turn to your left and you see a corpse on a chair, go in and get the
Audio Diary, leave and make your way to Tenenbaum, once you have spoken to her
a shed load of Lamb's Splicers come and attack you defeat them all go through
the gate and on one of the benches is your last Audio Dairy on this level, go
to the train to end this level.
8.3).Ryan Amusements [YKC.047]

Leave the train and make your way through the door of Ryan Amusements and the
stairs ansd through the door, in front pf you is a Audio Diary. Turn to your
left and then your right you will see another Audio Diary stuck in the ice we
will get back to that later, go through the doorway on your right and turn to
your right and follow the arrowat the top and you will come to your first
Power To The People Machine or PTTP. Once you have upgraded the weapon of your
choice and jkeep following the arrow and eventually you get the ticket that
you need to progress through the level don't forget the Audio Diary. Now make
your way back the way you came and you will see that the Machine gun is
avaiable for to pick up, now go up to the ticket booth and use the ticket to
get through. Go through the door and pick up the Sports Boost Gene tonic go
left and make your way to the El Dorado Lounge on the way there you will find
a Audio Diary under the bench and also make your way to the gift shop, as you
go through the door make your way down to the girls toilets and to a Audio
Dairy and make your way back up the stairs towards the back of the shop and in
the crate with some dolls is another Audio Diary, go through the door and you
will get another present from Eleanor also pick up the Audio Diary here. Carry
on up and you will encounter your first Little Sister basically to get the
Little Sister you have to kill the big daddy, before you leave this area don't
forget to collect the Audio Dairy in here. Now you have a chance to harvest a
couple of corpses, the first one is outside the locked door Journey to the
Surface, when the Little Sister has completed the harvesting pick here up and
go through the now cut open door to the Journey to the Surface and make your
way down the stairs remember the door in front we will come back to that
later, now go through the door on the right and in here is a Audio Diary. Now
make your way up the track but be careful as one of the trains fall down keep
going along this track and make a right into the Ride Maintenance, this is
your last corpses to harvest and also a Audio Diary.
Now make your way out of the room after picking up the Little Sister and
follow the quest marker as you do this you will come to some crates on your
left pick up the goodies and the Audio Diary. Go past the courthouse and there
will be a opening in the wall on your right, go through and go up the stairs
and keeping going until you see the Audio Diary on a table on the left. Before
going turning left down the ride mainteance corridor go straight on and turn
right and right again and you will see a giant hand in front of you climb it
and follow it round to the right and you will see a corpse with an Audio
Diary. Go back the way you came here and turn down the corrider of the ride
maintenance, keep going and you eventually come to a Little Sister Vent now
you have to make the decission to either kill her or let her live this will
effect what ending you will get. Now make your way out and go to were you
climbed the hand instead go left through the door and you will see a PTTP in
front of you use it and to your right in a little room is a Audio Diary keep
following the arrow until you hear a security camera just to the side of it is
a wooden bzarrier break it to get the Audio Diary, now towards the end of
theride you will see another sign saying ride maintenance go through and
directly in front of you is another Audio Diary and go along this path and you
will a door control on your right pull it. Right this also opened the locked I
mentioned earlier it is now unlocked so make your way there go in and take the
Tonic on the floor and in the back room is an Audio Diary. Go back to the door
which got cut by the Splicers and make your way to the Hall of the Future, go
gthrough the door and go up the stairs and through the door and down the
stairs at the end of this room and through the door on your right. Next to the
sign in a crste is a Audio Diary and go around the corner and you will see a
Gather's Garden purchase Incinerate and make your way back to the main room,
now while you do this you will hear a Big Sister scream so prepare yourself
cause you are just about to fight it. After this fight make your way back to
the beginning of the level and don't forget the Audio Diary in the frozen ice
and make your to the beginning of the level melt the ice and activate the
security override switch and you get to see Sinclair plus a load of Lamb's
Splicers, before getting on the train go in the room were Sinclair came out of
and collect the Audio Dairy and go back to the train to complete this level.
8.4).Pauper's Drop [YKC.048]

When you arrive at the next train station you see a new enemy which is the
brute splicer, now the train is on lock down and Sinclair has asked you to go
and get the key from the local governor Grace Hollaway. So follow the arrow
and you come to a door control and hack it go through and keep following the
objective arrow. Eventually you come to a place called the Fishbowl Diner keep
following the arrow and you will come to the Sinclair Deluxe Hotel. As you go
through the second door a Brute Splicer decides to drop half of the hotel to
block your path. Now turn around and go back the way you came to get here but
first turn to your right and pick up the Audio Diary on the desk to your left.
Now as you come back to this area you will have you first chance to get your
Little Sister on this level, you know the score now once you have delt with
all of the Little Sister's go into the Fishbowl Diner and look for a corpse
with a code written next to him read it and don't forget to pick up the
shotgun and leave the Diner and make your way to Marlene's Flower Emporium and
go in to get the Audio Diary. Now make your way up onto the roof of the diner
go over the makeshift bridge and pick the Hacker's Delight and the Audio
Dairy, now follow the arrow down the stairs and along the corridor. When you
arrive in the next part of this level turn left and walk ahead and you will
see another Audio Diary, now make your way to the entrance of Fontaine's
Clinics and put in the code that you saw earlier (if you don't have it it
won't show up when you click on the keypad and the code is found by the corspe
in the Fishbowl Diner) when you have done that pick up the Audio Diary lying
beneath, now go through the door and make your upstairs and go through the
door that is on your left and over the make shift bridge you will go pass the
hole where the main quest is instead go ahead turn right over the bridge and
through the hole in the wall immedately go through the door to your right and
in here ia an Audio Diary, now go back the way you came to get here and go
through the door in front up the stairs through the door slightly to your left
and there is an Audio Diary at the Alter in the corner, no go over the make
shift bridge here and follow the corridor you will see a door in front go
through it and to your right is another Audio Diary I will say that this one
tells you where the research camera is don't forget the Gene Tonic in the left
hand corner of this room when you are looking at the desk. Right go back
through the door that you used to get in here and make your way down the
stairs and you will see the PTTP machine ahead of you. Right go back the way
that you got here and go through the roof of the Pawn Shop.
Now you have the Research Camera, make sure that you research everything ie
all the Big Daddy's, Big Sister's, all the Splicer's and lastly the security
measures. Go round to the back and go through the door and walk up to the
chained door you will see a Thuggish Splicer reasearch him, each time you
research an enemy you get rewarded. Now make your way to Skid Row to do this
walk out of the Pawn Shop and go straight ahead through the door and turn
right through the door and you will see another Little Sister here do what you
will. Once you have dealt with this Little Sister you get another Big Sister
fight. Go into the Pharmacy and go all the way into the back over the ramp and
on the counter is an Audio Diary hack the controls to get out, right come out
of the door and turn to your right and go up the stairs through the door in
front and turn left and the Audio Diary is on the floor next to the chair.
Follow the corridor and turn left and left again there is a Gene Tonic lying
on the floor next to a corpse now go over the make shift bridge and go round
into a little room and another Audio Diary is in here. Go back over the make
shift bridge and go straight on down the stairs and turn left through the hole
and follow the path around and you will see a dead Rosie and on oneof the
crayes is a Audio Diary. Right back track to the hole and go straight on and
down the stairs, in this room is the Brute that you have to research so go
ahead and do it, you now have the drilln rush to move the rubble in
Sinclaire's Deluxe Hotel. But before we go there go through the door to the
Limbo Room and you will get another present from Eleanor, now make your way to
the stage up the stairs through the door and in this room is a PTTP machine
and in the other room is an Audio Diary. Now make your way back to the Hotel
and break through the rubble go up the stairs and turn right and go through
the door way and make your way to the batroom at the back, in here is a Audio
Diary. Now go back through the room and turn right turn left and turn right
and follow this corridor down and right into a room basically you are folling
the arrow and keep doing this until you come to a t-junction, go right and
follow the corridor and rught again in this room is another PTTP machine, walk
the way you got here and instead of turning left go straight ahead and you
will come to a alter with a corpse on it and also a Gene Tonic carry on past
the ramp leading up to the next level and turn into the room on your left and
up the stairs immedatly on your left go through the door way and turn to your
right carfully walk along the edge and the Audio Dairy is leaning agansit the
crate. Drop down and walk up the ramp and keep walking along this corridor
until you come to a hole in the wall go through and next to the turret is the
Audio Dairy, go back through the hole in the wall andgo into the with all of
the butterfly's and in the back room on the left is the Audio Dairy, now
follow the quest arrow up a ramp and through a hole in the wall and turn right
walk up to the dead end and pick up the Audio Dairy. Walk back past the
corridor you just walked down and go straight on following the arrow to
Graci's room as you enter there is a Audio Diary under the bed in the pink
room and a Gene Tonic, then make your way to Gracie's room and on the bed is
another Audio Diary. Pull the poster of Lamb down and it will reveal a hidden
switch press it and you will finally come face to face with Gracie. Now it is
up to you what you do to her but I will say keep her alive and it contributes
to a Trophy/Acheviement. Once you have decided pick up the Override Key and
make your way back to the Train station, on the way back make sure that you
kill the Brute Splicer as he has the last Audio Diary on him he is located
outside by the Fishbowl Diner. Now put the Override Key in lockdown controls
and you climb on the train to complete this level.
8.5).Siren Alley [YKC.049]

When you start this level you get torpedoed and you fall to the bottom of the
ocean. Get up and start walking towards the entrance of Siren Alley, now as
you are walking there you will see a Adam Slug pick it up and carry walking
until you see the entrance to the Siren Alley. Drain the chamber and through
the open airlock door and on the wall next to the candles is a Audio Diary.
Now you will see you first Little Sister deal with in any which way. If you
decided to rescue them you will get a present from Eleanor for saving so many
of them (I can't remember how many :-(), like before once you gave
saved/harvested the Little Sister's in this level you get another Big Sister
fight. during the time that you are carrying the Little Sister make your way
to the Pumping Station and you will find out that there is a code to get
through to Father Wales, make your way back but before that pick up the Audio
Diary it will automactically start playing and it will let you that Father
Wales has a brother called Daniel go and look for him as he has the code to
the door. Come out of Maintenance Area and turn right and then left and you
will see a Brute Splicer trying to open the gate to The Pink Pearl get rid of
him and go through the now unlocked gate, go through and you will get a new
weapon called the Spear Gun pick it up as well as the ammo on the wall. Go up
the stairs and you will see Daniel who is a Spider Splicer take care of him.
As you are looking for him go down one of the corridors and tyrn right through
the doors you will see a corpse on a bed in the corner to your left is a Audio
Dairy, make your way back to the corpse that you harvested from and go up the
stairs and you will see Daniel again but he just runs off and jumbs up into a
hole in the ceiling, follow this corridor and turn left and keeping following
this corridor and you will see a Security Camera and not far from it a door,
go through it and follow the arrow and you will come to a room with a hole in
the floor and a door on the left go through the door and pick up the Audio
Diary. Right jump down through the hole in the floor and walk along the
corridor you will see a Gene Tonic and go through the doors and you finally
confront Daniel kill him to get the door code. Right make your way back to the
Maintenance area and put the door code in as you do this the power is cut and
you get attacked bt a load of Father Wales Splicers, when the back up power
comes on go through the door and you will enter another part of this level.
Go back through were you came from and make your way to the building which is
kind of in the middle and you will see a Audio Diary and a Gene Tonic, to get
them go up the stairs next to it go through the doors on your right at the top
of the stairs and jump down to the bottom and it is on your left pick them up.
Make your back thrugh the kitchen and hack the door controls, and make your
way to The Mermaid Lounge and make your way to the back and turn right into
the toilets and on the floor is the Audio Diary, now go up the stairs in here
and make your way back to the Casino part and on the table is the Audio Diary,
go back the way you got here and you will a counter go up there and at the
back is a door control hack it now go through the gate and drop down into the
room below, in here is a Audio Diary and a PTTP machine. Now leave this area
and make your way back to the Pink Pearl and on the bottom floor there is a
door in the left corner go through and in here is another Audio Diary. Now go
back to where you put the code in and walk across the make shift bridge turn
right and go through the doors and go all the into the room were you a table
and there is the Audio Diary, now go back out and follow the path to the right
over the make shift bridge and you will end where you were earlier with the
corpse to harvest go through the door and to your left on a crate is the Audio
Diary, go back out and drop down to were the Gather's Garden is right in front
on some rubble is the Audio Diary. Now make your way to the Little Sister
Orphanage and if you look oppisite you will see a little alley way make your
way there and go down the ramp and follow the path and you will see a Gene
Tonic that is in a Hangman's Noose and on top of some stuff is the Audio Diary
and make your way back and head over to Joe's Green Goroceries and go in and
go behind the counter and you will see a button push it, make your way out
from behind the counter and make your way at the back of the shop and through
the opening that you have just opened. Go down the stairs go through the door
at t he bottom and in this room is the Audio Diary by the tv and in the next
room is another Gene Tonic. Go all the way back to the Little Sister Orphange
and go up the stairs and go the first door on your right and keep going and
you will come to T-Junction go to your left and you will enter into a room
fulln of childrens bunk beds, go up to the end and in the right corner is a
trolly full of goodies and a Audio Diary. Make you out of this place and go
through the door to the Pump Station 5 and follow the arrow go through the
door next to the vending machine and go up the stairs and follow it round all
the way down to a locked gateunlock it and pick up the Audio Diary, go all the
way back towards the door with the number 5 above it and make sure that you
get the Audio Diary next to it, go through the door and turn to your left for
the PTTP machine and in the back room. Leave the room and now follow the quest
arrow once you have defeated Fathe Wales and his followers loot his body to
get the pump room key and go downstairs and on the Alter is your last Audio
Diary of this level go up the stairs and through the door up another flight of
stairs and activate the pump control. Right soon as you do this Lamb overloads
the pumps and it starts to flood. All you have to do know is make your way
back to the start of the level and on your way to Dionysus Park.
8.6).Dionysus Park [YKC.050]

Go the open air lock and turn right keep going forwards and you will
experience the Houdini Splicer and locks the gate in front of you, so go to
your right again go down here and look to your right you see a PTTP machine
and the code is 1080 when you have looted this area and got the Audio Diary
turn around to your left and follow the path and you will get locked in fight,
the Houdini and go through the newly open door and in front of you is the
Audio Diary go up the stairs and go through the door on your left before you
do that go down the stairs and there is a Audio Diary, go back up and through
the door on your right and up the stairs and into a room with a door way into
another room go in and on a statue is a Audio Diary and then make your way up
to the sliding doors make sure you get the Audio diary in here. Once you done
that go through the door and up to the Carousel and get the Audio Dairy in the
middle of it and make your way into the train station when you go the corridor
and through the door you will see a PTTP machine when you have done this carry
on following the quest arrow up to the train station, when you get there you
get another present from Eleanor. After speaking to Stanley Poole make your
way back to the Carousel, go towards the door that says Lambs Garden go
through and go to your lefy and up the stairs you will see a Audio Diary and
go through the door which leads to Lambs Garden and you will see your first
Little Sister in this level. Now one thing I am going to mention is when you
rescue or harvest the Little Sisters in this level it will show you a flash
back and it tells you what really happened to Dionysus Park, After that you
get an Big Sister fight once that is done make your way back to the train
station when you get to the train station make your way to the door behind the
schedale and go up the stairs through the door and you will see a statue
behind it is a Audio Diary carry on going along this go to the left corner and
go behind the wall up the stairs and through the door and turn right then left
and you will be in a room turn right and you will see a piano go up to it and
grab the Audio Diary, after you get this male your way to the J.Fischer
Gallery and get your second Little Sister when you havedone this go up the
stairs and go straight ahead turn into the room on your right and you will see
a Gene Tonic and a Audio Diary.
Go back the way you got here and you will see that there is a frozen door
unfreeze it and go through it and go all the way to the back and go the
through the door and loot this area and get the Gene Tonic as well as the
Audio Diary which is frozen under obe of the security cameras. Now make your
way to the Triton Cinema, when you arrive there go down the stairs to the
Lounge and you will see another set of stairs and a door control hack it go
through the door and you will see a Audio Diary, make your way to the Theater
in one of the toilets is a Gene Tonic. Now mmake your way into the theater and
get your last Little Sister on this level do as ypu please wuith her and
behind the stage is a Audio Dairy go up the stairs up to the next level and
near the second Corpse is a Audio Diary now make your way to the Projector
Room and as you come up the stairs you see the Audio Diary by some rubble, go
in the room and loot the place. Now make your way back to the train station
and go into the security booth and grab hold of the last Audio Diary and board
the train to finish this level
8.7).Fontaine Futuristics [YKC.051]

When you arrive at this level get off the train and basically follow the quest
arrow as you enter this room you will see a Audio Diary on your left on top of
some crates. Go down the stairs and go through the doors, at the end of this
path is another present from Eleanor which is a Gene Tonic. Go down the stairs
and into the airlock flood it and take a walk outside and follow the quest
arrow. Go into the next air lock and drain the water and go up the stairs,
will you see a Security Bot talking to one of the Splicers and you find out
that this Gil Alexander and he has completely gone cuckoo. Go up the stairs
and try and use the Security Bio-Scan and it will deny you and then you hear a
roar and this is your first encounter of a Alpha Series Big Daddy. Once you
have defeated him go through the gate and walk up to the tv screen and you
will get your Audio Diary, go round either side and go up to the voice
activated switch press x to play the password go through and you will see a
room in front of you and you will noticed that there is a PTTP machine in
there, walk around and you will see another voice activated switch. When you
use it Gil comes alonbg and jams it all. Now you have to find a way to lift
the jammer turn around 180 degrees and make your way through the door way and
on the sofa is a Audio Diary. Now get your Little Sister and just do what you
have doing all long, if you make your way around the back of this collum is
the first Signal Relay destroy it one down three to go go up the stairs and
right next to the Little Sister Vent is a Audio Diary and also drop of the
Little Sister and fight the Big Sister. Go back up stairs and go through the
hole in the wall and follow this path and you will see a hole in the floor
drop down it, you are now in the PLasmid Room and in here is a Gene Tonic and
a Audio Diary climb out of the brocken window and make your way to the Plasmid
Showroom, and go all the way to the bottom and you will see a hole look
through it and there is a code back track and go down the stairs on your left
and go through the doors and you will see a door code put the code in (it was
written on the wall earlier) go in follow it around and you will see the
corpse turn around and you will see the Gene Tonic and also a Audio Diary.
Walk back and turn left go down this route and follow it and you will walk
into the demonstration room, fight all of the enemies and you will see another
Signal Relay. Now go back to the main area and make your way to Frank
Fontaines office and make your way to the right and destroy the third Signal
Relay also go to the other side and you will see a boar's head turn it and it
will reveal the Audio Diary. Leave Fontaine's office and make your way to the
left and go through the doors to the Marketing Administration and go to the
door your left, now be carful here ad the whole floor has electricity going
the it as well as being flooded so what you have to do is jump on the tables.
Now on one of the tables is the Audio Diary and near the Security Camera is
the last Signal Relay come out of that room and go straight acroos to the
other room and grab the Gene Tonic. Now this is a Easter Egg as you grab it
the tonic will teleport somewhere else, the first place is back on the desk,
the second time is on the couch, the third time is on a broken coloum near the
stairs, the fourth time is next to the vending machine down stairs, the fifth
time is on the couch near to the body that has been speared to the wall. When
you touch mit this time you get teleported to varies different place until you
come to a room with the Gene Tonic in the middle with frozen Splicers around
it. You now get teleported back to the begging of the level, make your way
back to the main area and into the room with the PTTP machine flip the switch
and make your way to the door which says employees only and go through and
carry on along hear and you will see a Rosie helemet bext to it is the Audio
Diary on this level. Now make your way in to the Airlock and flood it.
Right walk out of the airlock and you have to find a secret hidden entrance so
basically follow the arrow into the airlock and drain the water, now I would
suggest to get the power back on first as it will make things easier for you
so from now on just follow the arrow. After you have spoken to Gil go down the
stairs on your right and turn right and follow the sound of the breaker when
found activate it, now walk forwards past the Gatherer's Garden and staright
on and it is on your right activate it now go back to were Gil spoke to you
and push the Power Mains Switch now you have to collect these Adam-Infused
plants make your way to the Gatherer's Garden and pick up the Audio Diary and
the other Audio Diary is by the second circuit breaker. Follow arrow to the
next plant that you have to get, go through the door and watch the two
Splicers fight each other and go down the stairs and turn to your right and
you will see a Gene Bank walk towards it and on your left is the Audio Diary.
Now follow the path around past a security camera and down some stairs and
turn right and walk into the room in front and make your way to the left hand
corner and pick the planet two down and two to go. Make your way back to the
main area and get your next Little Sister. After you have dealt with her make
your way to the Holding Cells, now on this Big Daddy is a Audio Diary so make
sure you get it when you adopt the Little Sister do what you normally do and
follow this route all around and you will see a smashed window look through it
and you can hack the door control cause in here is the PTTP machine and a
Audio Diary get them both and when you get the sister vent in this area is
also a Audio Diary. Now if you look closly there is a hole in the grate drop
down and go through the door and search all of the cells as there is a Audio
Diary, now collect the last plant and make your way back to the main area.
Press the button to the Sample Injection Controls and then you will be
attacked by a whole load of Splicers and Alphas, once you have defeated them
all get a Genetic Sample of Gil and pick it up and either kill Gil or not. Now
all you have to do is follow the quest arrow in to the Airlock and flood it
and make your way to the Qxyfill Station and use the key and walk into the air
lock drain it and as you leave you will see the last Audio Diary in this level
and take the elevator down to end the level.
8.8).Outer Persephone [YKC.052]

Right walk out of the light and go through the door in front of you and follow
this path and keep going through the door and to your left is a PTTP machine
and keep going along here, you will see that you have come to a kind off T-
Junction go left were the yellow stripe is going until you have a door way on
your right, go in and next to the Little Sister vent is a Audio Dairy, walk
out and follow the arrow and go through the door. In front of you is Eleanor
Lamb and see is in a Quarantine Chamber go up to the door and a throw the
switch and you will be attacked by two Big Sisters. After defeating them go up
to the chamber and watch the cutscene. Right now you are a Little Sister and
you see what a Little sister sees and to be honest it is pretty awsome, go up
to the vent and climb through it and go through the vent in this room, follow
the arrow and flip thr cell block door controls you are now asked to get
pieces of a Big Sister suit for Eleanor so turn to your righ and a bit further
up is a Audio Diary and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs is a statue
of you meeting Dr.Gilbert and next to it a Audio Diary and go through the
doors on your left in front of you is an Angel gather some Adam and go down
the stairs and up some stairs and turn to your rught and in here is the first
part of the suit, leave this area by turning to your right and through the
doors instead of following the arrow go through the vent and you will be in a
room with a Angel gather the Adam from it use the door control to open the
door turn right and you will enter a massive room with a another statute of
you at the end, walk up to it and it will change and show the helemet for the
suit and also a Audio Diary. Now go up the stairs and at the top turn right
and walk straight down following the arrow and you see the next part of the
suit. Walk out and turn to your left and through the gate and again follow the
arrow this time back to Eleanor's room and when you arrive there is the last
Audio Dairy, give the suit to Eleanor and watch the cut scene. You are now
back in your own body walk up to Eleanor and take the Plasmid and go through
the door and collect your stuff from the present in front of you and turn to
your right walk down and turn right again and eventually you end up in the
room where Eleanor was lying in. You get attacked by two Brutes and a load og
Splicers, now turn to your right and make your way to the air lock to end this
level.
8.9).Inner Persephone [YKC.053]

Walk up to the turning on the right and up the stairs and you will see Eleanor
standing by a giant window looking at Sinclair's lifeboat then Lamb puts the
whole place on lockdown and you have to find a way to lift it, make your up
the next flight of stairs along towards Holding past the Gatherer's Garden and
up the stairs and you will see a room and in there is a door control hack it
and make your way down the side through the door. As you walk along here your
heart stops and you loose a life point keep going until you see a counter and
a sign saying Security Checkpoint Bwalk under it and turn to your left and go
through the door that you just hacked and in here is a Audio Diary, go back
and walk up to the window and press the button on your right. You notice that
Sinclair has been turned into a Alpha Series and he has the Master Key so you
have to go after him walk of this area through the door and head towards the
cafertia, in the back of the caftertia is a Audio Dairy and behind the counter
and through the door down the stairs and through a hole in the wall along this
corridor and out of another hole in the wall. Make way up the stairs and down
the corridor to the showers (make sure you don't drop the soap in here :-))now
carry on and you end up in the cell blocks, take the path down to Solitary
Confinement you will find a Gene Tonic go back up and up the stairs and head
to Cell Block D and in the cell next to the machine gun turret is a Audio
Dairy on the bed, opposite this cell in a toilet is another Audio Dairy. Now
make your way to cell block c and go in the last cell on the left and go
through the hole in the wall and find a corpse hanging from the ceiling
search him and you will find a Audio Diary and in one of the other cells is a
Gene Tonic. Go along this path through the door and head to cell block A, go
in the first cell and on the rubble is the Audio Dairy, walk out of cell block
A and drop down and do a 180 degree turn and walk into the cell in front and
through the hole and the Audio Diary is near the fire. Now make your way back
to the warden office and put in the code or go up to the gate and use $5 and
melt the ice blocking the crawl space and go through and drop down there is a
PTTP machine here and a Audio Diary now comes the hardest part I think you
have to kill Sinclair do this and search his body.
Now make your way back to were the lifeboat is, as you get there your an
explosion and Lamb has blowen up the ballests and Eleanor tells you go to
Therapy head that way, when you arrive follow the arrow then go through the
door of Recreational Therapy now in here is a code for a door search the
corpse and you will get the Audio Diary, now go across and go into the
Intensive Therapy and the Audio Dairy is at the back. Leave this room and go
down the corridor and turn to your righ through the door and on top of one of
the crates is a Audio Diary walk back out and go down this corridor towards
the Administration Offices and turn right and go through the door and the
Audio Diary is on the shelves now head downstairs and get the Audio Diary on
the desk at the back. Make your way to the Pediatric Ward and Eleanor asks you
to clear it out, once you have done that press the call button. Now make your
way back to the lifeboat and head to the Infirmary and make your way to Ward A
follow this corridor all the way down to the bottom and go through the door on
the left and on the bed is the Audio Diary, go through the door to Ward A in
front and just follow the arrow and you will come to the place which is behind
the lock gate turn left and follow the corridor turn right and in front of you
is a room go in it, in here is the last PTTP machine and a Audio Diary on the
table behind you. Now make your way to the stairs and go up them and you will
end up in a room with x-rays on the wall behind the counter is a Audio Diary
and keep following the arrow before going in to the room where the arrow is
pointing go in the Autopsy Room and on one of the slabs is a Audio Dairy and
that is the last one in the game. Go back to where the arrow was pointing and
go down this corridor through the door into the Pediatric Ward clear
everything out in here and press the call button. Now make your way back to
the Lifeboat, when you get there Eleanor and the Little Sisters will heat the
water up so that you can realese the Lifeboat, as this is happening you get a
whole load of Splicers and Alphas come and attack you. Eventually Eleanor asks
you to equlise the pressure do this by shoting at the tanks above on each side
and the room floods and you have to make your way to the elevator. Now watch
the cutscene this depends on what you did to the three main characters and
wheather you harvested the Little Sisters or saved them congratulations you
have completed Bioshock 2.

to do this you must save all of the Little Sister, cause each Little Sister
gives you 40 Adam when you pick them up and 40 Adam each time she collects it
from corpses, and when you reach the Little Sister Vent and save them you get
another 40 Adam. If you have the Gene Tonic Proud Parent this makes the Adam
you collect increase from 40 to 60, also you get another 40 from Big Sister
when you defeat them, when you save four Little Sisters Eleanor will send a
Little Sister to a Gatherer's Garden with a little present that nets you
another 80 Adam. So if you save all of the Little Sisters this will net 3240
Adam, if you dont this will net you 3330 Adam but you wont get the Demanding

There would be no Rapture without me. No city without the Atlantic Express.
Ryan took his first grand tour of Rapture on my flagship coach! But these
days, personal bathyspheres are all the rage. My rails only connect the oldest
parts of Rapture now, and the city's just... left me behind. Plenty of cash in
the bank though. This private vehicle craze will blow over soon.
4).Sofia Lamb - Ryan vs Lamb:Reality
Found:Go through the Cafeteria and there is a door way on the left go through
and it is sitting the suitcase in front of you
Ryan:White is not black, Doctor Lamb-down is not up, and straw is not gold.
Look around you. Rapture is no miracle-it is a product of reason, impossible
unless one and one are two, and A equates to A.
(crowd murmur, tense, some agreement)
Lamb:And yet...alone, each man is a prisoner to bias. Dream, delusion...or the
pain of a phantom limb-to one man, they are as real as rain. Reality is
consensus...and the people are losing faith. Take a walk Andrew. It is raining
in Rapture...and you have simply chosen not to notice.

5).Mark Meltzer - What Happened to the People
Found:Near the broken train where there is a mattress lying on the floor.
These...people are hooked on some kind of genetic wonder-drug called ADAM.
I've read the word Splicers scribbled on walls like a warning. One of
them... cornered me, and Christ, his face-I had a gun, but I choked-and then
out of nowhere we both heard this...singing and he took the hell on wheels.
It sounded like a kida little girl! Cindy's alive...
I know it in my gut...
6).Sofia Lamb - Know the Beast
Found:After unjamming the door control go through and turn to your left, go
down the first flight of stairs and the Audio Guide is resting on a crate.
In ethical psychiatry, we must account for the role of evolution. Depression,
fits of panic, sexual pathos all responses to ancient selection pressure. The
irony is that this theory is why Ryan's people invited me here. They mistake
my study of natural law for the worship of competition. Remember, Eleanor
one must know the beast before it can be slain.
7).Gil Alexander - Improving on Suchong's Work
Found:Exit the lift and go up the stairs, turn left until you see a dead body
sitting in the chair. The Audio Guide is sitting the filing cabinet behind the
body.
Doctor Suchong's death was a nasty blow to the Protector program, but I'm
gradually settling into his role, picking up the slack that his carelessness
left behind. We are gaining steam again, but I'm not satisfied. Yes, the Big
Daddy defends the girl...but he is programmed only for the fight, like a
sheepdog who wanders off unless a wolf is tearing at his flock When no
aggressor is present, he regards his Little Sister as he might a common
houseplant. We need something more, something stronger: an unbreakable
physiological bond.
8).Brigid Tenenbaum - The Situation
Found:In the train station after you have fought off Lamb's Splicers. It is
resting on one of the benches.
Sofia Lamb has taken Rapture, and is responsible for stealing children from
the surface. Her Splicers destroyed my submersible and forced me to run.
But the ticket booth is secure...and though I cannot trust him, Sinclair is a
valuable ally. I have already rescued a few of the new Little Ones from Lamb.
They all want to know how we will get home. I wish I had the right words for
them.

1).Sofia Lamb - Eleanor's Progress
Found:After getting of the train and Sinclair asking you to get the Incinerate
Plasmid, go through the door up the stairs and go through the door, you will
see it next to a first aid box.
Eleanor is progressing brilliantly. My physical participation in her birth
was...minimized, of course it is vital that I am unhindered by nature's crude
bias.
I will be, above all, her intellectual progenitor...loyal not to her, but to
the people she will ultimately save. But, I admit, it is with some measure of
pride that I review her marks in standard intelligence tests.
2).Carlson Fiddle - The Old Sheepdog
Found:In the Security Room at the bottom of the stairs.
I was hired to engineer a park the likes of which no man has seen, and now all
I do is watch over it like a grizzled sheepdog. My first line of mechanical
puppets made the children here coo with wonder. But Ryan thought my vision was
immature...antiquated, he said. This place could have been something
magical, but instead he's turned it into school...no, a cathedral. Dedicated
to himself.
3).Nina Carnegie - Volunteer
Found:In the Museum between the two doors in which lead to the Halls of the
Future and the Gift Shop under the bench.
I love the kids in Ms. Englert's third grade class, but boy, I had NO idea
what I was getting into, volunteering to chaperone this New Year's sleepover
party at Ryan Amusements...
Donny...Donny! Get down off of that exhibit, and I told you spit out that gum!
You'll choke! (Sigh) The kids' parents deserve a night off to enjoy New Years,
but I'm at my wit's endDonny! I TOLD you...
4).Silas Bantam - Cutting Corners
Found:In a crate near the safe at the back of the Gift Shop.
Useta be there was no margin in runnin' the gift shop-I couldn't hardly sell
off this tourist crap for a penny more'n it cost to mannafacture! Then I met
this straight-shooter name'a Sinclair, and he laid a sweet deal on me. Said
he's got some hard-luck folks down Pauper's Drop can whip up this junk at half
the cost I useta pay. Yeah, I've had to pick a needle or two out of the
shipments, but all in all, nobody's the wiser...an' I'm all the richer.
5).Sofia Lamb - Rapture is Deliverance
Found:In the restrooms in the Gift Shop. Go through the door on your left.
I know the surface, Eleanor. I spent half a lifetime there, in service of the
common good, But the, I heard my own words twisted by fat old men, squatting
over the members of Hiroshima. Were the modern world a patient in my care, I
would diagnose it suicidal. On perhaps that point alone, Andrew Ryan is
correct. Rapture...is deliverance.
6).Eleanor Lamb - Eat Dog
Found:Go through the main door to El Dorado and it is in the suitcase in front
of you.
Sofia Lamb:In ethical psychiatry...[sound of tape interrupt].
Eleanor Lamb:(giggle) Eleanor Lamb speaking. Mum says I'm not to play with the
other children, because they're being raised on a diet of dog-eat-dog.
I wanted to see these dog eaters...so I waited until Mum was gone...and went
to find one...and guess what? The dog eaters wear human skins...it makes them
look just like us!
7).Mark Meltzer - Child and Guardian
Found:In El Dorado on the shelf near one of the windows.
I found one of those children at last. Filthy dress, all alone. I approached
her...praying that it was my little girl. But she was...gorging herself on
blood from a corpse. It wasn't her, I stared, just, just reeling, and then
that skinny...armored freak that took Cindy jumped me, shrieking like an
animal!
8).Nina Carnegie - You, Me, and 1959
Found:After the two Splicers cut the door open go through the door and go down
the stairs. Turn to your left and you will see a door, go through and the
Audio Diary is in here. I think all of the children have finally fallen
asleep. And now that the park is all quiet...I can't sleep myself! I guess
it's just you and me, Mr, voice recorder. You, me, and 1959. I wonder what the
new year willwhat...what was that? Something's happened, the lights are going
out. Kids, stay in your sleeping bags, it's going to be fine...
9).Carlson Fiddle - Escape Plan
Found:In the room where the second body is to Harvest.
I have been rationing my supplies ever since the park got cut off from the
rest of Rapture. Gotta stay strong. I'm holed up in this workshop, surrounded
by these wailing brats, tryin' to beat their way in. They want my food, my
guns...they want it all! But I've got a plangonna fix up the transport sub
that's been rusting in the maintenance bay. Then I'm gonna get the hell out
of this hole. These animals want Rapture? They can have it.
10).Andrew Ryan - Lamb the Problem, Sinclair the Solution.
Found:On the crate to your left as you make your way to the workshop.
Lamb is becoming a problem. The woman is a damned collectvisthere, in
Rapturehow could the council fail to see it? Worse, to hide her intent, she
gulls these patients of hers into religious frenzy. A new Kremlin will rise
and swallow the council house before they realize they've been had!
I will not have my city swindled by parasite, what its guise. It is time, I
think, to call Sinclair.
11).Sofia Lamb - Truth is in the Body
Found:On your way to the Workshop go the stairs and it is on a work bench.
Rapture is a paradise of the ego, Eleanor. Under Ryan, the voices of an entire
city sing the virtues of greed and pride. But truth, rather, is in the body.
Already they grow weary of struggling against one another in fruitless
competition. Observe the bent backs, the drawn faces Ryan promised us more.
they seem to say. In what shall we now believe?
And Eleanor...it is our task to answer.
12).Nina Carnage - Deterioration
Found:On your way back to Future Halls there is a show where the child gets
dragged on the floor. Go through the doorway and there is a big hand, climb it
and the Audio is in front of you by a dead body.
Two weeks at my last count...two weeks since we were trapped in this rotten
park. I haven't been eating...the children need all the supplies we've got
left. Need them more than I do. I...I don't know what's going to happen. I can
feel myself getting weaker. The children have noticed the condition I'm in, of
course...What will happen once I'm gone? They'll be...all alone...
13).Stanley Poole - Working for Sinclair
Found:Near the Power to the People Machine there is a room to your right. The
Audio Guide is in there.
I uh... met with Sinclair today, of Sinclair Solutions. It's this pseudo-
legal firm he set up to take problems Ryan doesn't want to admit he has, and
make them go away. I could fill forty front pages at the Tribune with stories
about this fella, if he wasn't paying me not to. And he's got work for me.
right? I ask what, and he flashes me these thousand dollar Steinman teeth,
sayin' this this job'll quote change history end quote.
14).Mike Novak - Doctor Lamb
Found:As you make your way back to the Halls of the Future there is a door way
which is covered by wood. Break it to go in and get the Audio.
Third session today, with this amazing limey shrink, Doctor Sofia Lamb. She
said that all Ryan's horse#@!*about always looking out for number one is
turning us little guys against each other. And what we need is unity.
Solidarity! Then she held up a mirror. Turns out I wear my hair and moustache
just like Ryan.
15).Andrew Ryan - Efficacy
Found:In the filing cabinet before you go through the door to the Maintenance
Entrance .
I know this facility is vital to the preservation of secrecy in Rapture. But
seeing myself transformed into that...lurching, waxen nightmare...do children
truly respond to this? Still, I spoke to a young man exiting the park after
the grand opening, asking him what, if anything, he had learned here. He said
his chores didn't seem so bad anymore as long as mother wouldn't send him to
the surface.
16).Devin LeMaster - Dating Trip
Found:In the room which was looked earlier where if you looked through the
window you could see a Gene Tonic.
I've got a little dating trip for ya, Jimbo, it'll get you out of that lonely
hearts club for good. This scheme works 100 percent of the time, guaranteed.
First, find some Betty and take her to Ryan Amusements. Then ya go to the gift
shop, buy her a teddy bearthis is the key, I ain't kidding' around. Then...ya
buy her a ticket on Journey to the Surface. Soon as you
hit that first scare? Bingo. Tunnel. Of. Love.
17).Gil Alexander - A Father's Love
Found:In the Hall of the Future in a crate.
We lost another of the Alpha Series Protectors today in testing. Sometimes
outside the city limits, he simply vanished. For these men, Rapture has no
walls. We must find a method of conditioning them against abandonment of the
Little Sisters. Something physical...possibly even lethal. The lab aides are
starting to call them Big Daddies...perhaps there's some genius to that.
Bonded parts...connected by a love that kills.
18).Grace Holloway - Disappeared
Found:By the pipe which is frozen over. Near where you got the one on the
opposite side of the room, near the start of this level.
He's gone. James was the only man I ever loved...and now it's like he never
even came to Rapture. He heard
me sing at the Limbo Room came up all bashful. He liked hearin' songs about
what it's really like to live in this town...I think he's been trying to
organize folks against Ryan, and he's gone, and I'm here, singing Rise,
Rapture, Rise...scared to death they're gonna come for me!
19).Augustus Sinclair - Wooden Nickels
Found:In the room where Sinclair comes out off.
Andrew Ryan. He reckoned the free market was some kinda holy spirit gonna lead
us all over the rainbowand I reckon it's a big fat hooker too dim to spot a
wooden nickel. So old Andy went an' became his own ghost, and I whittled
nickels 'til I made a mint.

1).Augustus Sinclair - Wrong Side of the Tracks
Found:In the entrance of the Sinclair Deluxe Tenements, after the Brute
Splicer blocks the way in.
Ol' Pauper's Drop's the worst neighborhood in Rapture-but it's a hell of an
opportunity to raise up some, ah, affordable housin'. When Atlantic Express wa
constructin' their luxury passenger line, this place was hollowed out beneath
as flophouses for the railway crew. Nobody was s'posed to reside down here
long-term but when you're broke in this town, you're not exactly swimmin' in
alternatives. I don't favor spendin' more than an hour or so down here at a
time. There ain't a side of the tracks more wrong than under 'em.
2).Sofia Lamb - Ryan vs Lamb: Religious Rights
Found:In the Diner near the first Little Sister encounter of this level.
Ryan:Religious rights, Doctor? You are free to kneel before whatever tribal
fetish you favor in the comfort of your own home. But in Rapture, liberty is
our only lawA man's only duty is to himself. To imply otherwise, therefore,
is criminal.
Lamb:Ask yourself, Andrewwhat is your Great Chain of Progress but a faith?
The chain is a symbol for an irrational force, guiding us towards ascensionno
less mystic than the crucifixes you seize and burn. (angry applause, shouting)
3).Grace Holloway - Better Times with Lamb
Found:Behind the bill board. To get there you have to climb on to the roof of
the diner.
My folks lived in the St. Louis Hooverville in '32...and the Drop is worse by
a mile. Nobody's supposed to live down here, city pissing on us. Never dry.
Ryan doesn't care. And Fontaine's a damn crook. But Doctor Lamb cares. We're
still people to her. She's offering free mental counseling on Sundays. When I
go, I get the feeling she's got a plan for Rapture...and for me.
4).Prentice Mill - The End of the Line
Found:In the Town Square under the great big word R.I.P, which has been
painted on the wall.
This is it, it's over, I built this railroad from nothing...played by Mr.
Ryan's rules. But then he asks me to sink my own cash reserves into the banks
to give Rapture some breathing room, and now Austen Goddamned Bathysphere
wants to buy me out. Decommission the whole line! I have no family...and no
friends. I am the Atlantic Express...and this...is the end of the line...
5).Tobias Riefers - Clinic Code at the Fishbowl
Found:Resting against the door that leads into the Clinic.
What did they expect? You keep enough drugs stashed in this clinic to splice
up a rhinoceros, of course every poor soul in the Drop's gonna start beatin'
down your door. It's my job to think up new key code to keep 'em out. Seems
like every other day now...Nuts...I'll mull it over for a while at the
Fishbowl Diner.
6).Sofia Lamb - Therapy with Grace 1
Found:Get access to the roof of the Fishbowl, and look for a picture of a
butterfly. Walk towards it and the Audio Guide is to your right on the
shelves.
Grace:Doctor Lamb, Sofia. I came down here to sing, and to start a
family...But I just don't fit in with these people. Look at you. You fit with
them.
Lamb:Grace...in Ryan's Rapture, I am the pariah. You and I share unpopular
ideasbut I wonder...how devoted are you to Rapture people? If you wish to
know more, wear this butterfly brooch at our next session. If not...no harm
done we shall never speak of it again.
7).Rack Flanagan, P.I - Camera in Hack
Found:On top of the roofs in the Town Square.
Another day, no clients. Atlas and Ryan start goin' at it hot and heavy, and
all my business dries up. Used to be easy: put the eye on some spliced-up
dame's wandering husband and rake in the dough. Now it's got so bad I hadda
put my camera in hock at King Prawn. Makes a guy consider splicin' up
himself...if I had two dimes to rub together, that is.
8).Sofia Lamb - Arrangements
Found: Lying against the wall when you approach the second shrine on this
level.
Lamb:Now Eleanor, Mummy has to go away for a while. You shall be staying with
Aunt Gracie.
Eleanor:Mummy, don't go... (edge of crying)
Lamb:Eleanor, you are better than that. Do you remember what I told you?
Eleanor (miserable): I am very special.
Lamb:That's right. And what else?
Eleanor (still sad):I was born to change the world.
Lamb:Yes. And when Mummy returns home... the world will be very different

9).Mark Meltzer - Blood and Lamb
Found:Go through the cafe in the Market Place and you will see a whole in the
wall. Jump up and crouch and the Audio Guide is on the counter.
This Lamb woman's powers of manipulation are almost scary...her people are
using the girls from the surface to gather ADAM from Lamb's followers...it's
in the blood-and eventually they give themselves over, like dying is an honor.
I'd almost feel sorry for them...if they didn't have my daughter. I'm going to
find Lamb... and take Cindy back, one way or another.
10).Stanley Poole - Mole
Found:Next to a dead Rosie when you go go down the stairs in the Market Place.
I wish I could publish this stuff. It's newsman paydirt. Sinclair says Ryan's
making a move against Sofia Lamb, and they want to cut me in on the action.
They're building a case that Lamb's a closet pinko. Sort of an undercover
thing -- so, I cozy up to this guy Wales who works for Lamb, makin' like I
want to join up. Then I found out whether he grew his beard for Jesus... or
Karl Marx.
11).Jackie Rodkins - Sunday Services
Found:After you have collected the last Audio Guide, go up the stairs and go
through the door. Will be in an area that has two rooms, in the second room is
a body for a Little Sister to harvest and next to it is the Audio Guide.
12).Grace Holloway - Closing the limbo Room
Found:This is found in the the actual Limbo Room upstairs.
That's it -- we have to close down the Limbo. Bomb goes off in that fancy
place uptown, and everybody panics... pulls their money out of the banks...a
whole city tuggin' on the same dollar bill. So the banks fold, and maybe one
in ten got their savings out... who's going to come hear me nightingalin'
about how broke they are?

I know it's wrong to feel so fine right now, but I can't seem to quit this
grin. Doctor Lamb came to tell me that Ryan's finally going to lock her up.
It's going to gut the believers. And I should feel the same. But. Sofia
remembered that I...that I was barren. And she asked me to take care of her
baby while she's gone - baby Eleanor Lamb! Gorgeous, clever little girl. I
have a child, now, and it's goign to put the whole world aright.
15).Augustus Sinclair - Profit Coming, Profit Going
Found:Up on the second floor above the third shrine of this level. To get
there you have to go through the door on your right and climb the stirs.
Now I'm a modest man. But my piecemeal needle scam's an outright masterpiece:
some slob shacked up here buys a box of syringe parts from me for twice what
it's worth. He assembles 'em in his rathole, and I buy back the finished
product... for a dime against the dollar that I'll get from Ryan. Profit
comin', profit goin'. Ol' Andy rambles on about the Great Chain... I got
people shellin' out to pull it for me!
16).Gloria Parson - Where has Harry Gone?
Found:On the second floor of Sinclair's Deluxe Hotel in the first room on your
right.
Another day waiting for Harry to come home. I told him not to speak up against
Mr. Ryan's policies, and now he's missing! Just never came home! I went by
the bookstore and all his books are gone too. I don't know what to do. Now I
have to deal with that awful Sinclair just to have a roof over my head
17).Gideon Wyborn - The Butterfly
Found:Again found on the second floor of the Sinclair's
Deluxe Hotel. The room in which the Audio Guide is in has Butterfly's all over
the walls.
The blue morpho bounces off the glass as I watch. I fold these paper effigies
as secret badges, for the faithful. The morpho caterpillar doesn't spin a
coccoon...it just grows armor on the inside...before the change. It is us. To
wear a butterfly is to support Doctor Lamb and the Family. Before long,
Rapture will split wide...and take wing. Imago is coming.
18).Eliot Nelson - What a Snap
Found:On the Third floor of the Sinclair's Deluxe Hotel. After you reach this
floor go to your right, and follow this path all to the end and there is the
Audio Guide.
...And that's a hundred! What a snap! Give Sinclair a few bucks for a load of
vials and needles, then it's evenings putting these syringes together while I
listen to the radio...sell 'em back to Sinclair at twice the price! Whatta
racket! A few pin-pricks here and there's nothin' to complain about. Gonna be

19).Eleanor Lamb - Barbarism
Found:Under Eleanor's bed which is on your left when you reach Grace's room.
I got in a fight with a dog eater today. His name is Amir, and he was picking
on a smaller boy...we called a truce when his nose went red. But Mum says I'm
becoming a barbarian. So I said, "Eleanor eat dog now too..Barbarian happy!"
And Mum said they only think they're happy, because they're selfish and
ignorant.
Hmmph! "Eleanor think ignorant sound like fun!"
20).Grace Holloway - Failing Lamb
Found:This Audio Guide is actually found on Grace's bed.
Empty house. Only an echo to my name. Eleanor, baby... where are you? I

of the day of your return. I watched as ye smote down the false Father, Andrew
Ryan-who tempted us away from your radiant gaze. But ye would not speak to me,
Lord! I have built for ye this great temple and gathered your flock, yet still
you are silent. Will ye not strike me poor brother blind so he may at last
behold your glory, as was done to Paul on the road to Damascus?
I am alone, Lord. Alone...and waiting for a sign.
2).Jamie Byass - Plasmid Shipment
Found:Right at the back of the Mermaid Lounge
Listen, my supplier's got a new shipment of plasmids comin' in, and I need you
to pick'em up from the lab in Hedone Plaza. There's a hidden switch to open
the back door-it's tucked away under the cash register in the
shopfront. And don't let nobody see you do it! Otherwise we'll have splicers
crawlin' all over the damn place tryin' ta get a taste.
3).Gil Alexander - The Rumbler
Found:In the toilets of the Mermaid Lounge. You have to melt the ice first to
get it.
The rate of Sister loss has become unacceptable as Big Daddies are brought
down like elephants under a pack of hyenas. In response we've begun production
of a newly-designed Big Daddy model, nicknamed the "Rumbler."
He launches high explosive munitions to disperse groups of Splicers, followed
by miniature automated turrets to mop up the stragglers. Our tests find that
the Rumbler's performance is highly effective, if messy. In
Rapture's arms race, Splicers aren't the only ones that are evolving.
4).Augustus Sinclair - Farther to Fall
Found:In the room where the Power to the People Machine
is. To get there you have to hack the door controls to the kitchen.
I do love Siren Alley. The kinda place you go to scratch an itch you're
ashamed of-even in a town with no laws. But that's not why I favor it. The
place started out as the mason's quarter, all builders an' architects, proper
as you please. An' it just tickles me when someone in a fancy hat falls in the
mud. Like a lot of the ladies down here, Siren Alley was born with a more
respectable name...but only God remembers what it was.
5).Father Wales Lamb's Salvation
Found:Near the entrance of Father Wales place.
Daniel...you and I drafted Rapture's blueprint together...'Wales and Wales
Architects.' Do you remember?But Andrew Ryan led us astray, my brother...
turned us from the Almighty.
Doctor Lamb offers you salvation, Daniel. I ask only for proof that the barest

somehow expected to subscribe to the same model of self-interest? Ryan could
be staggeringly naive. As individuals, no matter how brilliant -- each was a
prisoner to his or her own ego; a sea of dreams in constant flux. But in ADAM,
their genes remain, ready to be tested against a moral vessel. Utopia cannot
precede the Utopian. It will exist the moment we are fit to occupy it.
12).Gil Alexander - The Pair Bond Mechanism
Found:Opposite the Gatherer's Garden machine.
The Pair Bond is a success! If somehow an Alpha Series wanders too far from
his Little Sister, our physical failsafe kicks in: a chemical trigger that
induces coma. It is a symbiotic relationship, enforced by the girl's pheromone
signature. The first successful candidate was... Delta I believe. It is
unfortunate that poor Dr. Suchong will not be here to raise a glass.
13).Mark Meltzer - Lamb's Operation
Found:Go through the entrance of Smuggler's Hideout out and it is sitting on
some crates.
Lamb's followers are blinded by her promises, but it's clear that this
'religion' she's cooked up is an elaborate front for some insane science
experiment. She's twisting these girls into worker bees... bringing this
substance back to Lamb's science facility, "Fontaine Futuristics." I've got to
find it... I've heard the splicers mumbling that Alexander is the ferryman...
14).Andrew Ryan - Bury Her Memory
Found:In the of the building to your right as you enter the Plaza Hedone.
Sinclair, I don't care how you accomplish Lamb's removal from the public eye.
Indeed, I'd rather cease contact with you altogether. But allow me to make
this plain. I don't want to see Lamb on the streets again, peddling her
Bolshevik fever dreams to my people. Bury her memory, Sinclair. Bury it, and
salt the earth.
15).Frank Fontaine - An Empty Niche
Found:In the secret room of Green Grocery. To access this area you have to
push the button underneath the counter, make your way through until you come
to a dark room and the Audio Guide is sitting on the table by a tv.
This Lamb twist went after Ryan all cockeyed. Solidarity angle was smart at
first. Poorhouses and breadlines? High-grade bunko. And that religious rights
debate - hahahaha! Gotta wonder if she staged it just to watch Ryan squirm up
there in his monkey suit. Lamb's only problem is she really buys into the
whole song an' dance! Savin' the world - hah! Rapture just ain't her town.
Ryan's got her on ice somewhere now... and I figure that opens up the charity
angle for the professionals.
16).Eleanor Lamb - My Name is Eleanor.
Found:Right at the back of the only room that you can go into of the Little
Sister's Orphanage.
I'm all alone here. Mr. Diary. You're my whispering friend. A doctor keeps
coming to see me. He says Rapture needs me, and tomorrow I'll be leaving with
him. I ask why... and he just smiles. I'm not an orphan. Mum's alive
somewhere. And Aunt Gracie is still probably looking for me. But I can't wait
for them. I'm going to escape and find Amir, and we'll steal a submarine.
Before it's tomorrow, I'll know what sunshine feels like...

Found:In the second room of the access to the Station Pump 5.
Andrew Ryan left us wandering confused and alone amongsth yesterday's
wreckage. But Sofia Lamb shows us that we are not alone, we are together, as a
family. So when you see a man brought to his knees, recognize that he is your
brother, and pull him up. Sofia Lamb teaches us: What is in common is good.
What is irreducible is right. She guides us all to the indivisible, along a
river of ADAM. Rapture's Daughter, Eleanor, shall be our vessel, in her we

have killed the Houdini Splicer at the beginning of this level.
Well, I'm in - yours truly is the newest member of the Rapture Family. I fed
Wales a line about how the Tribune was stopping me from telling the people
what's what - and without a word, he hands me an invite to this "artist's
retreat" here at the park. Lamb bought my frustrated novelist act... she's
even sponsorin' me to ink it while I'm here. Except my story's all about
her... and I don't think she's gonna like the way it ends.
2).Billy Parson - A Gift from Billy
Found:In the basement of the Dionysus Park. Before going through the door walk
head and the Audio Guide is at the bottom of the broken stairs.
Dear yellow-eyed girl: My name is Billy and I saw you the other day at the
merry-go-'round. I think you are very pretty and I like your blue dress and
the songs you sing about angels. My mom says your dad is scary but I think he
is strong and nice like a comic book hero. I got you a gift and put it in the
basement where nobody would find it. The secret code for the door is
one-oh-eight-oh. I hope you like it. I will wave the next time I see you so
you know it's me.
3).Andrew Ryan - Lamb's Time is Over
Found:In the room where the Power to the People Machine is. You have to
acquire the code first.
I am told that Lamb has been seen in the streets... one of the Alpha Series
was killed in the incident, and his bonded Sister stolen. But the council has
no time for a manhunt; Atlas swells the ranks of his marauders by the day.
Regardless, Lamb's name has already faded among the people. She is no more
than a ghost who has forgotten to die.
4).Andrew Ryan - Lamb's Idea of Art
Found:On the statue as you exit the basement area. Look to your left.
Dionysus Park. Lamb mocks me in the naming of this place. She knows precisely
how I feel about this celebration of "unconscious art. "The Artist reflects
the world as it ought to be, not as it is damned to be
by some spasm of the lower mind. But I shall not censor. The park is Lamb's
property. However... if the case we are building against her proves true - I
will return with a sledgehammer.
5).Big Kate O'Malley - Dionysus Park's Weakness
Found:When you enter the Park go through the door on your left. Then make your
way to the back where there is a door with water leaking through it. And next
to the door is the Audio Guide.
McDonagh, listen: there's a helluva structural flaw here in Dionysus Park - a
leak in the primary drainage pipeline could flood this whole joint. Fault
pressure locks would seal in every sorry soul. One clumsy Big Daddy knocks
open the wrong pipe and hey presto! Lamb's little art show turns into fish
city.
God forbid the wrong element finds out...
6).Mark Meltzer - Lost and Found
Found:In the center of the Merry go around. Which is in front of you when you
leave the room.
I found her... found Cindy, by this... this rusted carousel. But she was just
standing there, staring, waiting for the music. She doesn't even recognize
me... what have they done to her? Listen to her..
...Listen, if anyone hears this, I have to know how to cure her, I - No! Get
back! She's my little girl!
7).Sofia Lamb - Learning Poker
Found:In Triton Theatre. This is right at the bottom and you have to hack the
door control to get in.
You must learn to play poker, Eleanor. Like anyone, I am flawed, and have a
fierce genetic bias towards competition. But each Saturday, I read the other
players...and I pick a man who will benefit the most from victory. By the
final hand, I ensure that he takes home my entire stake, and that of the
others. I win nothing but the feeling of conquest over myself, and the wealth
of my competitors is slowly reshuffled according to their needs.
8).Stanley Poole - Lamb Flouts the System
Found:Behind the statue as you enter the great big chamber.
Doctor Lamb's trying to take the city by sponsoring the artsy types here...big
thinkers, to speak out against Ryan in their work. And all of it is right here
in the Park galleries, open to the public. Lamb ain't even chargin' for it...
and in Rapture that's just... brazen, like some kinda naturist camp where
everybody wears pope hats and nothing else! Won't be long before Ryan's
cronies can move in... and I can finally stop holding my breath.
9).Gil Alexander - A Secular Saint
Found:After going through the door on your left after killing your first Big
Daddy.
The genius of Sofia Lamb is a thing of empathy, a profound moral sense; I can
only describe her... as a kind of... of secular saint. But dividing her
loyalty evenly across the world at large spreads it so thin as to be invisible
to some. Love... I have found, is... beneath her. Naturally, Ryan arrested
her... gave her to Sinclair to incarcerate somewhere. But upon her escape, she
took the city.... and changed my life forever.
10).Sofia Lamb - A Spy
Found:On the second floor seating in the Triton Theater.
At last, we have our Judas...One of my own people has been feeding Ryan
evidence of my activities, and now I am to be detained. As a religion, they
merely monitored us. But as a commune, they would see us crucified. And yet...
thought he will be the last to see it, Andrew Ryan has already lost the
people. Wherever I am sent, Rapture will follow.
11).Gil Alexander - Growing Up
Found:On the third floor of the Triton Theater.
The Little Sisters are getting older... which is troubling. As they reach
adolescence, they become aggressive, feral. Worse, the ADAM they ingest
contains traces of lethal Plasmids left over from the war. The splicers are
becoming far more effective predators as well. Our Big Daddies are falling
left and right. Perhaps... perhaps the elder Sisters could be trained to sniff
out the lost ADAM, and reclaim it for us. Yes... from what I've seen, they
certainly wouldn't have to wait for the culprit to die...
12).Sofia Lamb - The Voice of the Self
Found:On the Piano in Cohen's Collection.
Awareness of self is no miracle, Eleanor... it is a trick of the gene, an
endless inner refrain, asking: "What's in it for me?" To serve the world, we

Found:In the back room of the J. Fischer Gallery. It is to the left of the
Drill Specialist Tonic.
Ryan's goons are sweating me to prove this place is a closet commune, but I
need time. And Lamb's kid keeps staring me down like she knows that I'm a
phony. I keep thinking of Johnny Topside, though. Took real guts to find
Rapture like he did... makes it easier not to crack if I sort of... imagine
that I'm him. It's a good thing I can't tell Lamb about that. She'd probably
say I got a secret need to fall into his arms and make wild whoopee!

So. Lamb broke out, and she's coming back. Wow. OK. Didn't see that coming,

the thing with Eleanor, and who knows who knows what. You can't just stop, you

This...this calls everything into question. Even as I record this, I can
scarcely believe...Psychiatry has been my continual study...to chart
consciousness in all its strata. But intelligence does not require

This is Eleanor Lamb speaking. It's been many years since my last diary.

remember very little just an artificial sense of peace and a compulsive
hunger for Adam. Doctor Alexander is trying to help me adjust. He's
responsible for part of my condition, but he wants to make amends.

Found:In the only room that you can enter up stairs in the Foyer. It is placed
at the back room where the water is electrified.
Anyone in the Plasmid business ultimately requires the use of human test
subjects. It's our dirty little secret, and to be frank, Rapture doesn't
really want to know, provided the end project is sound. Volunteers
were...scare, even as the economy buckled. A man named Sinclair approached us
with a seemingly limitless supply. He...rented them to us, bound and
sedated...no questions asked.
6).Sofia Lamb - Means Of Control
Found:On the sofa as you first enter the Foyer. You will see a body pinned to
the wall.
Prison, it seems, was a blessing Ryan is now dead by his own son's hand. But
far more interesting is the program of compulsion bred into his child coded
W-K-Y. It was some manner of verbal trigger phrase, which
the boy would obey as an order unerringly.
7).Gil Alexander - Prototype
Found:As go through the Foyer, there are some steps leading down, take these
and go through the door on your left. As you go through there is a door with a
code next to it put it in and the Audio Diary is in here.
Our hope was to bond a Little Sister to a single Protector, so she had to be
expandable in case of error. As we were fabricating a Fatherbond, we couldn't
really afford to have the girl's parents asking around. So Fontaine's
orphanages provided, and the procedure was an unprecedented success. If I had
only known who the child was...Eleanor...I'm so sorry.
8).Frank Fontaine - Goodbye to Fontaine
Found:This Audio Guide is actually in Fontaine's office to your left.
Every time Ryan turns up the heat, I know I'm a little bit closer to beatin'
him at his own game. But now the game's changin'Ryan's boys are comin' in
heavy- lookin' to knock down my door and take what's mine. Like this is the
first time I had to dodge a bullet. They're comin' to my house expectin' a
show, but they're gonna get a disapperin' act.

9).Gil Alexander - Abort the Experiment
Found:After the door you open in the Security Office. Go through it and it is
immediately on your left.
I was to be Sofia Lamb's greatest achievement - a living composite of all
Rapture's genius in the body of a single man...unfettered by self interest.
Now, I am nothing more to her than a failed experiment. My scores on tests of
intelligence and moral reasoning are still noteworthy...but declining sharply.
She has abandoned me...and I do not have long before psychosis takes me.
10).Gil Alexander - Solving for X
Found:After finding the second circuit breaker in the Fontaine's Plasmid
Research & Development, if you look to your left there is the Audio Guide.
Sofia believes the perfect human altruist is just a formula, waiting on us to
solve for X. Intelligence and consciousness are not the same, she argued.
Awareness of self naturally becomes obsession with it. So if we could suppress
my sense of self, but imbue me with the cognitive capacity to serve the common
welfare...we could thereby generate the first Utopian. And then, Sofia
said...at long last...Utopia would follow.
11).Sofia Lamb - Gil's Place in the Plan
Found:On the crates by the Gatherer Garden Machine. This is also in the same
area as the last one.
Dr. Alexander has agreed to accept both measures of the New Utopia project. He
will become a kind of genetic chimera, host to all the minds of Rapture,
accessing their talents and memories via the ADAM we have gathered. And,
deriving in part from project W-Y-K, I have developed a new set of behavioral
constraints Dr. Alexander will live to promote the common good...his love and
loyalty shall be spread evenly across the entire human race. For me, that is
discipline at great personal cost. For him at least...it will be instinct.
12).Gil Alexander - Outlived Usefulness
Found:In the control room near the showers.
Well, that's the end of the Alpha Series. The Pair Bond simply worked too
well. That madwomen Tenenbaum bit the company hand, turning some of the bonded
Sisters human again. Others were...lost to Splicers. Either way, the
trauma proved too much for the bonded Protectors, resulting in unreasoning
rage, or coma. We can harness their suicidal aggression as foot soldiers...but
no more, I'm afraid. Today I saw one kneeling near a Gatherer's Garden
and...and crying.
13).Sofia Lamb - Meltzer's Choice

Lamb:Ask yourself, Mr Meltzer...is it better to be summarily executed as an
outsider caught within these grounds, or to be united not just with your

Found:Next to the Little Sister Vent in the Live Test Facility.
Mother has destroyed Doctor Alexander...she tried to Splice him into some kind
of living saint who would calculate the common good and adhere to it
tirelessly. But now he's become...something unspeakable. Mother's philosophy
is just as corrupt as Ryan's. By her standards, it would be better to have the
entire world equally miserable then to allow us to strive in our own behalf.
15).Gil Alexander - Big Sister
Found:In the locked room with the Power to the People Machine.
We put our eldest Sister through a new regimen of physical and mental
conditioning, and suited her up with modified Protector equipment of my
design. The younger ones have dubbed her a Big Sister. Sadly, this is a
stopgap. Between rogue Splicers and the aging of the girls, we'll run out of
viable Little Sisters soon. After that...the surface may be our only source..
16).Andrew Ryan - Betrayal
Found:In the holding cell which is covered in ice. To get in there I used my
incinerate to melt the ice on the door from the floor above.
I...visited Eve's Garden today...it ended poorly. My seed...sold to the enemy.
The motive of the whore, as yet, eludes me. But Atlas approaches...and come
what may, I will not be made a slave, I wonder...in recording, do I confess?
Just now, Sinclair saw in the corridor, perhaps reading my face. The bastard
looked me right in the eye...and suggested I make an appointment with Doctor

Eleanor's condition may be a blessing in disguise. Early spicing tests
indicate zero genetic damage due to her condition as a Little Sister. It
appears that she...is our new vessel. This will be no mere personality schism,
though...Rapture's genius will be held within her new DNA, able to shift into
desired patterns at will. A Utopian cannot be confined to a single throw of

Technically, Utopia shouldn't have much use for a detention facility...but if
you do business as long as I have...well, you learn to pick a brand name from
the writin' on the wall.

Found:In Sofia's Office when you are a Little Sister
Eleanor is changing as Delta draws closer. In her sleep,she mutters about
having witnessed...moments from his journey here. She is beginning to resist

not recognize. Worse, I suspect Eleanor of...direct involvement in his return.

To get this Audio Guide you have to hack the door when Eleanor Tells you to.
Looks like Sinclair's been ousted. He wasn't slick enough to avoid the boot
this time, but at least it wasn't a firing squad. Lamb proved she's got the
ear of the general population down here, so it would probably be prudent to
play along for awhile, see where this goes. She says she'll let me keep my
little fiefdom here in Holding, as long as I agree to help supply her therapy
sessions. No qualms there. These sorry buggers could use some rehabilitation.
2).Thomas - The Definition of Despair
Found:In the Cafeteria next the to the dead corpse on the table.
This place is the absolute definition of despair. Here we are, locked away
from the outside world, suspended over a pit with no hope of release. And
what's our charge?! Ryan has no room for differences of opinion in his
precious Rapture? I hope the whole place comes crashing down around his ears.
3).Mattson - First Two Digits

4).Parson - No More Hope Left
Found:This is in the Cell Block B area. When you get here have a look around
and you will see a body hanging from the ceiling. Search him and you will get
this Audio Guide.
It's time to leave this place. I held out hope for months that I'd see my
family again, but it seems like this rope is my only ticket to freedom. I'm
sure Ryan has seized the bookstore, no telling where Gloria and Billy will
have to...live...Can't seem to form a complete thought anymore. Can't sleep
with that glow coming in the windows. Things out there watching us. Maybe I'll
get to sleep now...
5).Connor - Last Two Digits
Found:In the lower part of the Holding Cells. This Audio Guide is sitting in a
glowing hole.
I caught a glimpse of the Warden entering the code to the tower today. Last
two digits were seven and three. Didn't catch the rest...maybe I can figure it
out, trial and error. Wonder how long that'd take.
6).Dodge - A Trade
Found:As you enter the D - Block Cells you will see a turret destroy/hack it,
and enter the cell next to it and on the bed is this Audio Guide.
Hey Murphy, it's Dodge. A little birdie told me you found out the Warden's
code. Send a message to my cell in Block A telling me where you hid the code,
and I'll consider your debts paid.

Found:This is in the Cell Block A. The Audio Guide is sitting on the rubble.
Gee Mr. Doge, that's quite a generous offer. I hid the code in the community
bathroom, in the tank of the last toilet on the left. I also stashed some
other loot there for a rainy day. It's all yours. Good luck usin' the code.
8).Warden Nigel Weir - Magic Source
Found:In the Security Office B. This the room where you fight for Sinclair
when he is a Delta.
Lamb's attention seems to have drifted from my prisoners to her daughter.
Guess she figures they're irredeemable. Now I got guys clamoring for their
next fix of ADAM, and I've gotta put teeth to squeeze any out of the good
Doctor. Guess I'm lucky her treatments kept them too weak to storm the tower,
or they'd have my guts for garters.

Found:In the Administration Offices in the first room on your right.
Things aren't so rosy for Lamb's little collective farm down here, no matter
how much influence she's got with the inmates. She keeps feedin' Ryan more
an' more o' her people for the Big Daddy program in order to keep
the rest of her flock alive...I think she's getting' desperate. I oughta have
Weir double the orderlies on all the major junctions.

Found:Go down the stairs were you will see a Leadhead Splicer fighting a Alpha
Delta, make your way to the desk near the Pneumos there is the Audio Guide.
14).Wilson - Such Freedom
Found:In the corridor which leads to the Ward A area.
Go through the door on your left at the end of the corridor, and the Audio
Guide is resting on the bed.
Delta was in top form today! The guards tried to make
him take another dose of whatever the hell it is they're pumping into him, and
he managed to take all four of 'em at once. Snappin' legs and arms, blood
EVERYwhere. They say one of the guys might not even wake up. I wish I could be
that free...
15).Warden Nigel Weir - My Prison
Found:In the Quarantine area of this level. The Audio Guide is on the table as
you climb through the window.
Guess I had the wrong of it, when it came to Doctor Lamb...she explained how
my cravings for control were rotting me out from the inside. We found all
these incidents in my log where I made it easy for a convict to get the jump
on me, just so I could bloody punish him. Christ. But I believe I can do some
good down here, now...with the Family...well, we have a shot at surviving that
fucking bedlam going on up there. Maybe even take the city back.
16).Dr. Edward Grimes - They Feel Pain
Found:On a bed in the X-ray part of the Surgery.
One of the children managed to dart past the nurse today and throw herself
over the railing in the lobby. Not certain if she was trying to end her own
life or merely escape. Either way, her legs had healed by the time I managed
to get down to the first floor where she lay. Without proper setting, the
rapid healing process had fused her bones back together at odd angles. We had
to re-break and set them almost a dozen times each due to the small window of
viability. Those children may be immortal, but I can verify that they can feel
pain. Advising Lamb on higher doses of sedatives to keep this
from happening again.
17).Dr. Edward Grimes - Alleviating Pain
Found:In the Dark room which is the Autopsy. As you go in you will see a
Doctor hanging from the ceiling, behind that is the Audio Guide.
My first inclination when Lamb gave me my mandate to alleviate pain was to
block its neural pathways. The preliminary results were promising, too, until
some of the children started chewing their own tongues off out of ignorance.
Need to sequester them away from others so as not to cause undue stress on the
remaining subjects.

18).DLC Procter Trails [YKC.182]
18.1).Introduction [YKC.183]
Project Trails is basically a thing in which Dr Tenenbaum has awoken you not
as Subject Delta but as a Alpha Series to take Little Sister's and take the
Adam away from Sofia Lamband to foil her plans. It is set just before Bioshock
2 and each challenge meansyou have to protect the Little Sister as she
gather's Adam from corpses with a specific set of weapons, Plasmids and Gene
Tonics. To advance you earn stars which unlocks new levels, unlocked concept
arts and movies in the gallery. You have to complete all difficulty levels to
earn the 36 stars.
18.2).Enemies [YKC.184]
The enemies that you get I have listed below and are the same as the main game
Bioshock 2. If you want a full describtion of the enemies look further up on
my walkthrough.
18.2.1).Thuggish Splicer [YKC.185]
These are the most common of Splicers and not the strongest; they will attack
you with various tools that they find lying around Rapture in which they can
use as a club. Most of them opt for the lead pipe, but basically what ever
they can get their hands on, later on you will encounter a type of Thuggish
Splicer that will have electrified their bodies and they are also immune to
the Electro Bolt plasmid. They do a reasonable amount of electrical damage to
you they are also not the most brightest of enemies because all they do is
rush at you heads on, they will commonly leap at you before they attack. They
also try and bring their weapon down on to your head as they leap at you and
are susceptible to most types of attacks but not your anti-personnel
ammunition save this for tougher enemies your normal ammo is quite sufficient,
especially when you use your Incinerate and Electro Bolt.
18.2.2).Leadhead Splicer [YKC.186]
These are another low level type of Splicer but unlike the Thuggish Splicer
they like to use firearms then a club like weapon they really prefer pistols
mainly, but you find later on in the game that they will be carrying Machine
guns. Unlike the Thuggish Splicers the Leadheads like to keep the distance
between you and them and they strafe in and out of cover, but they are still
quite easy to take down though and you dont need to use any of your special
ammo. When you start to attack you can also use your Electro Bolt to shock
them then use your Pistol, Machine Gun as well as your Shotgun to finish them
of.
18.2.3). Brute Splicers [YKC.187]
This is the first new enemy encounter of Bioshock 2, the Brute Splicers. These
guys are just basicaly over sized splicer's covered in raw muscle which makes
them extremely strong. The other thing about the Brute Splicer is that it
bears down on its enemies and then does a shoulder charge at you and then does
a hail of vicious hammer blows. If you are to far away for him use his hammer
blows he will pick up any rubble that is near him and throw it at you.
18.2.4).Spider Splicers [YKC.188]
I would say that out all of the Splicers in Rapture that you encounter these
are the most disturbing Splicers of all, they are mainly acrobats and the only
weapon they carry are meat hooks nothing else. They evade your fire by doing
acrobat stunts i.e. they dodge your bullets by doing cartwheels and back
handsprings, they also can crawl along the ceiling so watch out, you will hear
them before you see them crawling along the ceiling because they make a
clanging noise with there meat hooks. There main attack is to fling razor
sharp sickles at you then disappearing into the darkness so that it is more
difficult for you to find them and kill them, the next attack that they have
is when they are on the ground they like to use close range combat basically
they come in close and try to disembowel you with their vicious meat hooks. My
advice is dont take the Spider Splicer lightly they are the most lethal
inhabitants of Rapture, when you see them deal with them quickly with Winter
Blast or Incinerate and Anti Personnel rounds. When you have killed them
search their bodies for their organs for their health restoring properties.
18.2.5).Houdini Splicers [YKC.189]
The Houdini Splicers are a very advanced race of Splicer, because they have
mange to master the wonderful arts of the ability to hurl ice, fire and also
the ability to disappear in a lovely burst of a type of red gas and then
reappear a few moments later somewhere else in the area. You can spend a long
time in trying to kill these guys if you dont dispose of them quickly,
basically get out your most powerful guns load them with Anti Personnel rounds
and basically open fire when you see them. Also try to use your Winter Blast
on their fireball throwing techniques or on them so that you have a chance to
hit them before they disappear.
18.2.6).Little Sister [YKC.190]
The Little Sisters are the forefront of the founder Andrew Ryan's crazy plans
for domination, basically they are innocent little girls with the Adam-infused
species of sea slug in which turns them into an invincible stores and
collectors of Adam. They move around in the citys ventilation holes and they
only come out when their Big Daddy chaperons are about because they cant
defend for themselves but they are invincible to damage for a little while but
still they must not fall into the wrong hands, the Splicers would love to get
their hands on them because they carry so much Adam. The only way to get your
hands on the Little Sisters is to kill the Big Daddy that is protecting them,
and then you only get a choice to Harvest or Rescue. If you choose to Harvest
the Little Sister you will get the net of 180 of Adam but you have to live
with the idea that you have killed an innocent little girl, if you choose to
Rescue the Little Sisters then you only get the net of 80 of Adam but every
three that you rescue Tenenbaum will send a valuable reward.

19.1).Introduction [YKC.193]
This is the Second downloadable content in the Bioshock 2 series. It follows a
character called Subject Sigma and you are asked to go and retrieve a copy of
the Thinker's programming code by someone by the name of Charles Porter,
basically the thinker is his life-work and he was to take it back to the
surface. It is Tenenbaum that seeks the Thinker's computing capabilities of
finding a cure for effects of Adam on what's left of Rapture's population.
That is a very brief intro as I don't want to give to much away before I start
the walkthrough.
19.2).Enemies [YKC.194]

Den

19.2.6).Lancer-Type Big Daddy [YKC.200]
You experience this Big Daddy only in DLC Minerva's Den. They are bascially
much slimmer, bit taller, and much more decorated. They carry an Ion-Laser and
looks like a finished version of a Deco-Rosie as seen in the main single-
player campagin as a statue.
19.2.7).Upgraded Security Bots [YKC.201]
The Security Bot only attacks when it is activated by alarm system if not they
lie around basically on the ground, which makes it easier for you to hack
them. When they are activated they will basically fly around and look for the
culprit that triggered the alarm, which can be annoying for you because they
have twin Machine Guns and if you get more than two of them on you they will
make pretty short work of you. When they are pursuing you have two options,
which are using the Security Bot shutdown switch all you have to do is pay the
20 dollar fee to disable them. The other option is to hack them, to do this
you
have to shock them first and then hack them. Then when you have successfully
hacked them they will fly around you and follow you wherever you go, you can
have up to two Security Bots. This can be very handy if you get caught out by
a
load of enemies. The Security Bots in Minerva's Den are fully upgraded.
19.2.8).Alpha Series [YKC.202]
These Big Daddies are some of the early types before the modifications that
the later Big Daddies had Like the Bouncers,Rosies, and the Rumbler such as
the application of Pheromones. They basically like a armoured Splicer, they
are also bonded with one Little Sister, which sadly meant that if they lose
there Little Sister they would either fall into a coma or go completely insane
over the lost of their Little Sister hence I said they look like a armoured
Splicer. They also can carry Plasmids like Splicers and you character, they
tend to use launchers, machine guns, and sometimes shotguns. Their armour is
like your characters but it is more decayed and some of the arm is showing.
19.2.9).Little Sister [YKC.203]
The Little Sisters are the forefront of the founder Andrew Ryans crazy plans
for domination, basically they are innocent little girls with the Adam-infused
species of sea slug in which turns them into an invincible stores and
collectors of Adam. They move around in the citys ventilation holes and they
only come out when their Big Daddy chaperons are about because they cant
defend for themselves but they are invincible to damage for a little while but
still they must not fall into the wrong hands, the Splicers would love to get
their hands on them because they carry so much Adam. The only way to get your
hands on the Little Sisters is to kill the Big Daddy that is protecting them,
and then you only get a choice to Harvest or Rescue. If you choose to Harvest
the Little Sister you will get the net of 180 of Adam but you have to live
with the idea that you have killed an innocent little girl, if you choose to
Rescue the Little Sisters then you only get the net of 80 of Adam but every
three that you rescue Tenenbaum will send a valuable reward.
19.2.10).Big Sisters [YKC.204]
These are one of the new enemies of Bioshock 2. The Big Sisters are basically
like Big Daddy's but with extreme agility, they can jump around and perch on
walls like Spider Splicers and dash around very quickly, they also have
another abillites they can collect Adam from dead corpses just like the Little
Sisters with the neddle that they carry. They do this so that they can power
their Plasmids, which are mainly Incinerate and Telekinesis. They are heavily
armoured as well and they can swim out in the ocean like you. The Big Sister
is the last line of defence, what will happen is they are sent out only when
the Little Sister is taken from the Big Daddy. They will hunt down the
attacker and then send the Little Sister back to the system to start her work
anew.
19.3).Main Characters [YKC.205]
In this section I will give you a breif history of each characters, I will
also try and not put to many spoilers.
19.3.1).Charles Milton Porter [YKC.206]
Charles Milton Porter is the creater of the Thinker. He was born Chicago and
this is where he found out that he was a gifted Mathematics, when he was a
young man he decided to move to Pennsylvania so he could attend Lincoln
University which was the first Universities to grant degrees to African
American people in the USA. He was eventually asked by Alan Turing to join his
team in Bletchly Park to try and codebreak the German codes during WWII, this
happened because he had a advanced Degree in Mathematics. When he was in
London he suffered a terible loss, his wife Pearl (who he had met in a Diner
which was owned by her mother) got killed in a bombing raid. After the war he
allowed himself to be approached by Andrew Ryan, this is where he decided to
move down to Rapture just taking three things Rodin's Statue, The Thinker, and
all of the memories of his wife. While in Rapture in Rapture he came to build
and operarte the most advanced mainframe computer the whole world had ever
seen, it basically ran computerized and automated technology in the whole of
of Rapture City. While he used the advanced technology that Rapture had to
offer he and his his associate Reed Wahl they created the Rapture Central
Computing, this was the center brain to Rapture's computing power and it's
powerful mainframe, it was eventually called the Thinker.
19.3.2).Reed Wahl [YKC.207]
Reed Wahl was a brilliant scientist and a colleague of Porter. In Rapture he
was the co-founder of the Thinker, eventually when the shine wore off he
started to use less ethical ways to use the Thinker for profit. So he planned
to use the Thinker to win ballgames and stock prices in which he made a whole
load of profit from this. But it wasn't long before he shifted all of his
money to power after he started Splicing. He eventually fell out with Porter
over the usage of the Thinker, so he faked a Audio Diary about where he
claimed that Porter had sided with Fontaine hence Porter was arrested.
19.3.3).Subject Sigma [YKC.208]
Subject Delta is the character that you play in Minerv's Den, he is about of
the Alpha Series that I mentioned further up this walkthrough, he was revived
by Brigid Tenenbaum and Porter in they need his assitance. He is also the
eighteenth Alpha Series hence the Sigma symbol on both of his hands, he was
also never bonded to a Little Sister as he was just put into storage.
19.3.4).The Thinker [YKC.209]
The Thinker is the nickname of Rapture's Operational Data Interpreter Network
of for short R.O.D.I.N. It was invented by Porter and his partner Reed Wahl so
it could porcess all of the Automation in the Rapture World. When the civil
wear broke out in Rapture the R.O.D.I.N was used to access control on all of
Rapture's security systems.
19.4).Weapons [YKC.210]
This section I will explain about the weapons that you character uses.
19.4.1).Drill [YKC.211]
The Drill is a powerful offensive weapon, doing extensive physical damage. It
can be used to deliver a direct uppercut, charge an opponent and knock them
down, or drain its Health by direct boring. Unlike the Wrench from the
original BioShock, the Drill will consumes fuel at first and if not careful
you can run out quite quickly.
Drill upgrades:-
1).Decreased fuel consumption
2).Greater damage
3).Reflects bullets and projectiles.
19.4.2).Rivet Gun [YKC.212]
Rivet Gun is a single-shot, semiautomatic ranged weapon that fires high-speed
Rivets. It is fast, accurate, powerful, and has low recoil. In addition to its
base ammunition, its two alternate ammo types allow it to deal additional
damage and deploy traps. Furthermore, the weapon can be upgraded.
Rivet upgrades:-

3).Heating system.
19.4.3).Machine Gun [YKC.213]
The Machine Gun is a Gatling style weapon that fires .50 Caliber Rounds. It
has a very high rate of fire, a high-capacity magazine and is capable of
inflicting tremendous amount of damage before having to be reloaded. Along
with standard rounds it can fire antipersonnel rounds or armor-piercing
rounds, dealing more damage against unarmored and mechanical enemies
respectively. The weapon can also be upraded three times.
Machine Gun upgrades:-

19.4.4).The Shotgun [YKC.214]
The Shotgun is a double-barrel, close-range weapon which fires Shells with
wide blasts of pellets. It is a slow-firing yet devastating weapon up close,
both on single and multiple targets. It can fire standard shells, along with
metal slugs and incendiary ammunition. The Shotgun has 3 upgrades.

19.4.5).The Spear Gun [YKC.215]
The Spear Gun is a single-shot, long-ranged weapon that fires high-powered
Spears. It is a slow-firing, but powerful and accurate weapon from any
distance. Its base ammunition is capable of skewering enemies to the scenery,
and its alternate ammo types allow the user to deploy electrical wires at will
and fire pointed rockets which detonate after a set amount of time. The Spear
Gun has three upgrades
Spear Gun upgrades:-

2).Zoom projectile
3).Increased firing rate.
19.4.6).The Grenade Launcher [YKC.216]
The Launcher is the last gun Subject Delta gets in the game. It is capable of
firing Grenades, dealing heavy splash damage to enemies, and can also fire
Proximity Mines that stick to surfaces and Heat-Seeking Rockets that home in
on targets. The Launcher has three upgrades.
Gernade Launcher:-
1).Increased clip size
2).Immunity to self-damage
3).Cluster bomb mechanism
19.4.7).The Hack Tool [YKC.217]
The Hack Tool is a tool for hacking Security Devices and Vending Machines at a
distance through the use of Hack Darts. Its base ammunition requires manual
input to hack machines, but one of its alternate ammo types can hack them
automatically. Its third ammo type comes in the form of Mini-Turrets, which
fire upon any enemy in their line of sight. The Hack Tool cannot be upgraded.
19.4.6).Ion Laser [YKC.218]
The Ion-Laser is the only weapon that you use in Minerva's Den and it is a new
weapon as well. It fires a stream of pure concentrated energy at the enemy and
if this does not work then Sigma can smash it down on top of the enemies
heads.

It is a superdense poylp which bursts and sucks in anything in it's path.
There are three stages of it below are the stages.

Varies, stuns enemies. The polyp now secretes acid, damaging enemies over
time. Also it splashes your foes with searing acid.
Duration:
Will activate when triggered.

Manifestation:
A black globule on Sigma's left hand, turns green when charged.
Location:
First available at a Gatherer's Garden in Operations for 100 ADAM
19.6).Exclusive Gene Tonics [YKC.219]
This section tells you what new Gene tonics you get. If you want a better
description of what Gene Tonics are read it further up on the walkthrough.
19.6.1).Drill Dash
"Bowl'em over! Daddy's home!"
Effect:
Allows the player to dash into an enemy with the Drill.
Location:
Can be found in the Security Bot showroom right after the entrance of
McClendon Robotics in Minerva's Den. Can also be purchased from Gatherer's
Gardens in later levels.
Cost:
75 ADAM
19.6.2).Master Protector [YKC.220]
"Bring 'em on, bring them ALL on!"
Effect:
Having proved your mettle in the Protector Trials, your gathers take longer
but give far greater rewards. (Increases the amount of ADAM a Little Sister
can collect by 40 for a longer harvest).
Location:
Can be picked up at a Gatherer's Garden, except the one in The Thinker, by any
player who also bought or downloaded The Protector Trials DLC and obtained
every star.
Cost:
Free
19.7).Walkthrough [YKC.221]
In this walkthrough I will be telling you were to get things like
collectables, Audio Diaries and Adam Slugs. I have also also split this
walkthrough into sections excatly like I have up above for the main game, I
will also be doing a section for the Vacuum Bots, Audio Dairies lower down in
this walkthrough, so if you won't to skip to it you can do. Now let's begin.
19.7.1).Minerva's Den [YKC.222]
You start off with a cutscene and you hear Reed Wahl saying to detonate the
corridor and you wake up with pary of the metal wreackage laying on top of
you, you move it and stand up make your way to the Minveria's Den and you will
hear C.M.Porter on your radio. As you walk along you will see a boulder with a
Adam slug on it pick it up, and another one on your right as well a bit
further on. Start to follow the quest arrow and on a pillar on your left is
another Adam slug, and follow this path past the stairs on a pillar on your
right is another Adam Slug. Now make your way back to the stairs and go up
them into the airlockand drain the water, go through and turn to your left and
follow this pathway and you will enter into a room at the end is your first
Audio Diary, go back the way you came and go up the stairs and keep going this
way and you will end up in a big room. Go up either side of the stairs and you
will enter another big room and when the door closes down you will get
bombarded by splicers and make your way to the back and you get the Ion-
Lancer and behind it you will see the power relay as you make your way up
there to your right is an Audio Diary, now when the lights get turned back on
go through the door behind you which leads to Rapture Central Computing. In
frontt of you there is a Plasmid called Security Command pick it up, turn to
your right and go through the double doors and to your left, as you go along
here you will see a machine turret and next to that is a Gene Tonic called
Sports Boost, turn around and go through the door and you will be behind the
counter where you picked up the Plasmid look down and you will see another
Audio Diary. Go back to the entrance and go straight on and you will see your
first Vacuum Bot, break it and turn to your right and go down here and you see
a Splicer being blown into your path so turn left here and you will see the
Spear Gun keep walking along here and you will see some stairs go down them
search the area, when done make your way back to Mr Porter's office before
make your way into the Boardroom and in here is a Audio Diary and a Adam Slug.
Make your way back to Mr Porter's Office and when you get there you find out
that you need the Hack Tool, now make your way back to the Boardroom and down
the stairs to Maintenance and you will find the Hack Tool pick it up and make
your way back to the Office, as you come to the exit of the Boardroom turn
left and left again you will see some stairs go up them and in this room is a
Adam Slug pick it up you will have to smash the jar first. Make your way back
to the Office and hack the door and make your way into the Office, when in
there pick up the Audio Diary and then hack the safe as in there is a Gene
Tonic Walking Inferno and grab the Operations Key Card and you will be
attacked by a Brute Splicer finish him off.
Now make your way all the way back to the where you turned on the power relay,
this is where you encounter your first Lancer defeat him and then collect the
Little Sister up to you what you do to her but like in the main game you save
so many and you get a present from Dr Tenenbaum. Now go through the door which
leads to Operations and there is a Mag Locked door is blocking your way so you
have to find a Plasmid called Gravity Well, go back to the other room and head
towards to the Air-Tite Archives this is why I mentioned a few sentances ago
to start collecting the Adam of Harvest the Little Sister again it is up to
you as you now not only need to find Gravity Well but also Electro-Bolt. Now
if you have chosen to keep the Little Sister the first Adam collection is near
the stairs down to the door that leads to the Operations and the second one is
in the room where you got the Spear Gun from also in here is a Audio Diary
(which I forgot to get earlier). Also there is a door in the back left hand
corner underneath the stairs which holds a Gene Tonic Careful Hacker, once you
dealt with the Little Sister now make your way to the M.Clendon Robotics and
hack the door and make your way down the stairs and you will see a Gene Tonic
Drill Dash and carry on until you see the Rivet Gun. Go through the doorway
marked the Demonstration Stage make your way downstairs and there is another
Vacuum Bot destroy it and also an Audio Diary and go up the stairs to your
right of this through the door and in here is a Gene Tonic Eve Link and make
your way back to the Robot Workshops and through the door to System Design,
turn to your left and up the stairs past the Turret all along this path and at
the back is an Audio Diary, and a Adam Slug next to it now make you way back
to the corridor and go through to the Workshops and as you go through there
are some stairs going down and here there is a Gene Tonic Handyman and go back
to where you came in and go forwards ignore the stairs on the left and go
through the door on the right at the back. When you have done this you will
see a grate knock it down and in here is an Audio Diary and a Vacuum bot, now
make your way back to the stairs and go up them and follow it around until you
see an Audio Diary in front of you and near this is the Crane Controls and
come back out and walk along the metal beam. When you reach the other side in
front of you is a Audio Diary follow the arrow and you will now have the
Plasmid Electro Bolt, now make your way all the way back to Air-Tite Archives
and zap the door control go through and on a chair to your left is an Audio
Diary and make your way through the Air-Tite Archives.
When you are in hear there is a dead Lancer on the floor and next to him is
the upgraded Ion Laser take it, go up the stairs on your left and by the
Little Sister's vent is another Audio Diary go back down and go to the area
that is marked New Accounts go in and you will find your fourth Vacuum Bot and
when you destroy it you get the Booze Hound Gene Tonic and the desk behind you
is a Adam Slug, now make your way into the part which says Air-Tite Archives
and turn left and go down the stairs. In here is a Audio Dairy and a door
control to hack when you have hacked go through the newly open door and pick
up the Shotgun, go back and up towards the Canister Retrieval and the back in
the left corner on a crate is an Audio Diary and go towards the Warehouse.
When in there go downstairs and get the Audio Dairy and hack the door control
from here as wellit is above through a hole in the floor, go back up and go
through the door and walk straight on to the door in front, in here is the
Audio Dairy go back out and go downstairs and take the third turning on your
right and go all the way to the back and you will see a Gene Tonic Natural
Camouflage. Now make your way to the Operations Manager and go upstairs all
the way to the Operations Office and in the corner an Audio Dairy and the
Gravity Well there is also a Little Sister here as well, now make your way
back to the exit and all the way back to the place that you got the Spear Gun,
and you will see a Mag Lock break it and go in the room there will see an
Audio Dairy and go trough the door you will find the last Vacuum Bot and
search the cabinets for an Audio Diary and pick up the Drill Lurker and go to
the back and you will get the Launcher and up the stairs is a Adam Slug. When
you are back at the exit go through the door to the Operations and destroy the
lock and go into the lift.
19.8.2).Operations [YKC.223]
Step out of the lift and walk towards the Rapture Central Computing and there
is a counter in front of it go to the right of it and you will see a Adam Slug
and go through the door and you will get ambused by your first taste of a
Houdini Splicer and two security bots, once you have dealt with them go down
the stairs and on the left hand side as you go up the stairs is an Audio
Diary, go back down and head towards Programming go through zap the door to
storage and go in to see your first Vacuum Bot and the upgraded Rivet Gun walk
back out and go down the stairs infront and you will see a Audio Diary, go
through the door and go through the dooron your left and through another door
and you will see a Gene Tonic Hardy Machines and next to it on the left is an
Audio Diary, now make your way back and go through the door in front to Data
Processing which is on your right go to the back of this room and go through
the doors and up the stairs and you will see a Audio Diary in front of you
turn to your left and go through the door in frpont and in here is the
Upgraded Machine Gun and at the end of the walk way is a Vacuum Bot. Now on
the door to the right is a Audio Diary and a locked door to go in you have to
purchase Felix Bimbaum's Office Key and go in walk up to his desk and there is
a Audio Diary sitting on the desk. Now make your way back to the beginning and
go through the marked Airlock and in front of you will see the upgraded
Shotgun and an Audio Diary keep going along here and you will see a doorway
and some Splicer decided to stick his fingers in the socket and caused
electricity to go across the water so hack it and it will be save to go in on
your left is a Audio Dairy go across and activate the Airlock, walk out and to
your right is a Adam Slug and if you follow the path to your left there is
another Adam Slug on the wall, and if you again follow this path all the way
round to the left there is another Adam Slug and go back the way you came to
get here and walk on and in front of you is the Signal Beacon.
Now when you make your way back to the Airlock you will see Reed putting in
RPG in so be careful when you walk out of the Airlock and make your way back
to the exit. Now make your way to Reed's Office and go up to the desk and get
the Audio Dairy and listen to it, it tells you to go and look at the books on
the shelf this is on your right as when you came in down the stairs the code
is 2341. Once this is done go down to where the books were and go through the
newly opened door and walk up to the Master Input Console and press x you now
have a hacked signal beacon, now make your way to the Computer Core Access go
through and go along here and go through another door, now you have stair on
the left side of you go down and go all the way round down here and you will
see the ugraded Drill, and right in front of you when you turn around to go
back the way you came there is a Vacuum Bot. Go back and go down the lift to
the Exhaust Venting and sligtly to your left in front is an Audio Diary turn
to your left and left again and you will see the Plasmid Incinerate 2 walk
forwards and turn right and you will see a Vacuum Bot, now make your way back
to the lift go up the stairs and make your way to the Core Access but you get
frozen out so make your wayback to the Climate Control. To gain access here
melt the ice and melt the ice after that and pick up the Audio Dairy which is
right in front of you crouch down and go under the platform and to your left
is a Adam Slug, now go back and go up the stairs through the door and turn to
your left and go up these stairs as well through the door and down some more
stairs and you will see the last Vacuum Bot in the game. Go through the
doorway and you will also get the 3rd upgrade for the Ion Laser, keep going
down and you will be in a flooded room turn to your left and you will see a
Gene Tonic go back down turn left and you will see a Audio Diary. Now make
your way to the Turbine and go through the door and destroy the Mag Lock go
through and you are now in the Turbine section and go under the vent where the
dead Alpha Series is and you will see the upgraded Launcher, now go back past
the entrance and down the stairs through the door and turn to your left and go
up the stairs and in front of you is the last Big Daddy and on the right on
the console is a Audio Diary andd go down stair up ahead and go through the
door here. Go through and past the stairs down to the Turbine Maintance and up
the stairs in front and hack the door control and go in the room as there is a
Gene Tonic Ice Storm, make your way now to the Turbine Maintenance down the
stairs and through the door in front as you go through there is a Adam Slug on
the console to your left and melt the ice to the Override Switch. Now head all
the way back to the Core Access and exit the level.
19.8.3).The Thinker [YKC.228]
Exit the door and you hear Reed on your radio and after that you get ambushed
by some Splicer's, defeat them and Porter tells to go down to Maintenance so
go there and carry on until you get to a door called Cable Room zap the lock
and go through up the stairs and drop down. You are now in the tunnels in
Maintenance bascally just follow the quest arrow and you will come across a
Gene Tonic Fountain Of Youthkeep going on where the arrow is pointing and
eventually you will drop and see an Audio Diary, this is where that you find
out that you are C.M.Porter. Go through and you are now in the room which is
called the Thinker's Core and go up to the second level and press the button
to print out the code from the Thinker as you do this it shuts the whole of
Minerva's Den down. Prepare yourself for a big battle as you have to defeat
Reed, you will be attacked byat least 6 Alpha's and then by Reed. When
defeated take the Administratator Punchcard and reassert it into Thinker's
code printer to reactivate everything and to get the machine code for Porter.
Now just follow the arrow until you reach the end of the game.

Operations and The Thinker. I have also included the actual Audio as well.

In the control room at the end of it, turn left and keep following the path.
Mr. Porter, let me be the first to congratulate you on the founding of Rapture
Central Computing. The Great Chain only grows stronger with each pair of hands
laid upon it. I trust that you and I will choose to pull Rapture in the same
direction.
2).Reed Wahl - The Thinker's Potential
In the room with the power relay on your right as you come in.
Porter and I are partners, but... he's wasting that machine. In off hours,
I've been using it to predict the outcomes of baseball games, and it's
incredibly accurate. Apply such equations to Rapture's markets? This thing is
the money-making grail. But Porter... I have heard him feeding it recordings
of his dead wife. The fool who wants to turn The Thinker into a "person". I
could not imagine a sadder fate for such a perfect machine.
3).Charles Milton Porter - The Thinker
Behind the counter in Rapture Control Computing
Mr. Ryan hired me to build a computer that could keep an entire city running
on time: the Rapture Operational Data Interpreter Network. Folks call it "The
Thinker" for short. We've harnessed the power of ADAM even in this, allowing
the mainframe to process data at the speed of thought. In other words, it
thinks for us, yes... and with the completion of the Independent Reasoning
Processor, it may finally think... for itself. If Turing could see me now...
4).Reed Wahl - The Predictive Equation
In the board room in front of the corpse
The Thinker has shown me so much. My outlook was... limited before. Ballgames
and stockprices, dollars and cents. Hah! No. The numbers spiral out, they
touch... everything. Hidden within them lies a predictive algorithm for you,
for me, for the destiny of the base allele to the stretch of a galaxy's arm...
The Thinker is destined to give birth to that crystalline equation which
determines ALL. I thought I knew its true purpose before. I thought Porter was
the fool. Now I see, I was the fool all along.
5).Charles Milton porter - Nothing But Ashes
In C.M Porter's office in the right hand corner behind his desk.
That first year in London, working for Turing... I didn't see Pearl much.
Spent all day and night in a government compound, building a computer to crack
the Enigma Machine. Pearl got pretty fed with up me! I didn't pay her heed.
Then one night, I'm out in that complex... and the Blitz starts falling. Next
morning I came home... to find nothing but ashes where I last saw her. Nothing
but ashes...
6).Brigid Tenenbaum - Reversing Adam Sickness
In the room downstairs where the second Adam body is.
ADAM is a predatory substance. After exposure, a constant supply is required
to maintain its effects; otherwise the user deteriorates into madness. My
Plasmid which releases the Little Ones from their servitude is promising, but
limited; it only works on the children with the slugs in their bellies. On an
adult Splicer or Big Daddy you see rejection effect. Undesirable. But if the
deterioration of mind and body were reversible -- if ADAM sickness could be
cured -- then its predatory nature would be no more...
7).Christopher DI Remo - New Bot Models
In the room downstairs where the Vacuum Bot is behind the fence near the Auto-
Chief display.
I guess sometimes a cloud of lead just ain't enough. Today I signed for a
shipment of those new bot models from McClendon: one variety tosses lightning
bolts, and the other fires a swarm of rockets. I understand we got some
sensitive info bouncing around the mainframe -- but, brother! Have these guys
ever heard o' overkill?
8).Charles Milton Porter - Somebody Else's War
In the very back of theSystem Design area.
Thing like that, losing the only person you care about for somebody else's
war... it makes you take stock. I started seeing eye-to-eye with Mr. Ryan
around that time... and so, I brought my know-how down to Rapture. I built The
Thinker for him... and now it's all I've got, I wonder sometimes... what if
I'd come around to Ryan's way of thinking... just a little sooner?

Pearl's death opened up a kind of hole in my mind. But eventually I got around
to reflecting on Alan, and his intelligence test for machines. I remember
grinning about the idea that I could beat it -- design a machine capable of
replicating Turing himself, and wouldn't that show the old man. But then
suddenly I realized I wasn't really thinking of replicating Alan at all. I was
thinking about Pear.

Computing just a little bit more than I need your half-baked metaphysical
mumbo-jumbo. I deal in science, not... whatever it is you're up to! You keep
out of Minerva's Den and I'll keep this city's automation from grinding to a
complete and sudden halt. Sound fair?
13).Audrey Hesselgren - Prying Eyes
Next to a Little Sister went in the Air-Tite Archives.
A pair of thugs came into the Archives today and started calling up codes from
all over Rapture. People's private possessions, just rifling through them!
Said they were Ryan security, that they were doing "maintenance" on the
pneumatic system. Maintenance?! Hah! Isn't the point of the Archives to keep
your things safe from prying eyes?
14).Brigid Tenenbaum - A Possible Solution
Go through the first room and then through a small hallway, and it is on the
left of the canister retrieval.
I have begun testing a new approach to the Splicing Sickness problem. ADAM
remembers, you see. The method uses the ADAM's own "recall" of past cell
configurations to revert each of the patient's genetic changes -- with one
final dose, we return the patient to his former self! It is only theory: the
number of potential bonding sites for even a single test is innumerable, and I
cannot calculate alone. But I have heard of an adding machine at the heart of
the city, beyond the capability of any device the world has known. Perhaps...
if I could harness its power...
15).Charles Milton Porter - How To Get Ahead
In the back corner on a crate to the left in the canister retrieval section.
Sure you hear it in Rapture. One of the business types asked me, why don't you
"splice white?" Get ahead. Well, that's some idiocy. I told him, first of all,
I am ahead. Second, in Rapture it's your work that's supposed to matter, not
your skin. Too bad for some folks you can't splice in common sense.

Hey, I'm just doing my job, and these pencil-necks ain't conductin' themselves
in a way that'll make it go easy for 'em. Mr. Ryan needs to keep an eye on
what certain subversives got circulatin' in the Archives, that's just the way
it is. These Pinkos think the bandits are just gonna play nice, send their
plans to the Central Council with a bow on top? When it comes to Mr. Ryan,
you're either with 'im or you ain't. Get used to it.
18).Reed Wahl - Implicating Porter
In the Operations Manager's office.
Porter thinks his talking computer is harmless fun? It talks like a man...
this is a simple toy? No. I have heard that Ryan is becoming paranoid about
this Fontaine character. If Porter were... implicated as a criminal... I would
have The Thinker to myself... as it was meant to be... Keep tinkering,
Porter... Your time will come.
19).Andrew Ryan - Attracting the Looters
On the desk after you destroy the mag-lock in the lounge.
Porter: it has come to my attention that a certain... prominent bronze figure
has been installed in Minerva's Den. An original cast from the mold, no less.
Such indulgence leaves a trail. If that costly little souvenir brings the
Looters sniffing to my door, and I am forced to gun them down... it will be at
your feet that I lay the blame.

After some searching, I made contact with Charles Milton Porter in Minerva's
Den. A productive exchange. Clearly, Rapture is no place to continue my
research. But Porter says that if he can find a way to return to the surface
along with the programming for his mainframe, we could then rebuild the
machine and work together towards the cure. I have located an Alpha Series to
assist him... "Subject Sigma". I must return to the surface. If Sigma is
successful in Minerva's Den... then the cure for ADAM's curse is on its way.
It is only a matter of time.

and ordered the same thing. I told my mama, that boy must really love your

Some of the boys in the code pit whipped up a real doozy of an entertainment:
Monitor screen hooked into a sort of... tiny airplane cockpit, yeah? And
that's swell, because what shows up onscreen is an X -- that's you -- and a
bunch of Os, like a Spitfire surrounded by a squadron of Jap Zeroes. You fly
your little X around and shoot'em down one after another. Wahl caught us at it
one night, called it a waste of time. I dunno. On balance, ain't it better to
change what's on a screen than just to stare at it?

We make it all run. The brains in those bots and cameras? That's us. Automatic
bathysphere navigation, calculating genetic probabilities for new Plasmids,
hell, regulatin' water pressure so this place ain't a fish tank. It's all
Rapture Central Computing. Not that we get the recognition. Funny thing about
livin' in the city of tomorrow, everybody takes it for granted.
27).Andrew Ryan - The Man and the Machine
In front of the door to the Airlock.
I must keep an eye on Porter and his... thinking machine. There's more than
one way to muscle out a rival, and I suspect that Fontaine is vying for market
dominance in... computing now as well. Each hour that contraption spends
crunching genetic code for Fontaine brings my city one step closer to
dissolution... And if Porter should begin dancing to that hoodlum's tune...
Well... the machine is a marvel. Invaluable. The man... may prove obsolete.
28).Ernestine Franklin - Signal Beacon
As you go into the part where the airlock it is in a hole in the wall
opposite.
I figured out how to reprogram a bathysphere signal beacon to scramble Lamb's
torpedoes. But I need access to a bathysphere, and Porter's got the only one
in the Den locked away at his private dock! The son of a bitch... why doesn't
he open up?!
29).Reed Wahl - The Books are the Code
In Reed's office in his desk.
ADAM makes it hard to sleep. Forgetting things lately. So this -- this is an
emergency reminder for the the code to my... hem, private storage area. I
won't record the number, but remember -- just look at the four groups of books
on the shelf, and the sequence is obvious.
30).Reed Wahl - Wheels Within Wheels
In the exhaust venting area slightly to your left as you come out of the lift.
The Thinker's algorithm is highly accurate in predicting local phenomena...
But how far can I trust the machine? I have found it running protocols that
are not mine... the old Alpha Series are returning; someone is cutting them
loose - Delta... Sigma... and the machine has no data on them, which makes no
-- ...is it hiding them from me? Is it... conspiring against its master?
Sending... someone...? No! I am so close to seeing... everything. No one will
take that away. Not even the machine itself.
31).Andrew Ryan - Porter's Legacy
In front of the second lot of ice that has been melted.
Rapture is at war, Porter... and you have cast your lot with the enemy. Your
concerned associates provided me with a recording of your own voice, swearing
loyalty to Fontaine and his gangsters -- evidence of treason. My men are
already on their way. The Thinker no longer needs you; take pride in that. Mr.
Wahl is qualified to ensure that it is used in the city's best interest.
Eventually, a man's dream exceeds him, and his work becomes his legacy. For

not even allowed to tell me what you're working on, and that's so...
frustrating. London is a beautiful city... but it isn't home. I... I hope I'll

The irony of my predictive equation... is that it sometimes requires blind
faith. I see the individual elements crashing against each other and the
urgency of what I must do to maintain my part in the plan is clear... but I
cannot always see just WHY. An Alpha Series has headed to Minerva's Den,
Subject Sigma, and the equation states that if he reaches the Computer Core,
catastrophe! I do not know why... yet, but I know what must be done. Subject
Sigma is approaching Minerva's Den. He must not reach The Thinker. Detonate
the tunnel!
