Hello and welcome to kliqIMB's guide for Bandai Namco's most recent game in
their DBZ line, Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast 2. With an absolutely INSANE
amount of content, this is the biggest DBZ game yet. The controls take a
little getting used to if you're new to the series, but once you've got the
hang of it you'll be firing off Ki in no time. This guide will help you find
all the secret unlockables and characters, as well as give you a move list
for every character in the game. So with further ado, enjoy the guide!

Standard Move Set (SMS)

The following moves are standard for every character. The battle animations
and damage dealt depend on the character, but the button inputs are universal.
/////////////Melee\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Rush Attack - Press X: Can be linked as far as X->X->X->X->X. Releases a quick
string of melee attacks.
Smash Attacks 1 - Press X->Y in order: An attack that reverses the opponent's
direction. Hold down to break the opponent's guard.
Smash Attacks 2 - Press X->X->Y in order: Breaks the opponent's guard. Hold
down to knock them away a bit.
Smash Attacks 3 - Press X->X->X->Y in order: Carries out a consecutive attack.
Smash Attacks 4 - Press X->X->x->x->Y in order: Hits the opponent with a
powerful blow. Hold down to break the opponent's guard.
Smash Attacks High - During a Rush Attack, hit the opponent upwards with Left
Stick Up + Y. Hold down to break the opponent's guard.
Smash Attacks Low - During a Rush Attack, make the opponent fall down with
Left Stick Up + Y. Hold down to break the opponent's guard.
Charge Attack Level 1 - Hold down X briefly. Produces a somewhat damaging
attack.
Charge Attack Level 2 - Hold down X. Knocks the opponent back a bit.
Charge Attack Snap - Hold down X, then release the button as soon as your
character begins to flash.
Charge Atack Max - Hold down X until fully charged. Once full charged, you
will automatically attack. Knocks the opponent far back.
Throw - Press Right Bumper + B when near the opponent.
Crashes - Press Right Bumper + B when near the opponent, when there is a
crashable wall nearby.
Knockdown Attacks - Press Left Stick Down + Right Bumper + B when the
opponent is down. Timing varies for each character.
/////////////Ki Blast\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Ki Charging - Press Down D-Pad to charge Ki.
High Tension - Press Down D-Pad to charge Ki. Enter High-Tension Mode when Ki
is charge to the max.
Raging Soul - Pull off a Boost at the instant of High Tension. Super Attacks
and Ultimate Attacks cannot be used during a Raging Soul, but fighting ability
rises to the extreme.
Rush Blast - Hit Y repeatedly. The number of Ki blasts that are shot depends
on the character.
Charge Ki Blast Level 1 - Briefly hold down Y. The Ki blast effect varies
depending on the character.
Charge Ki Blast Snap - Hold down Y, the release the button at the same timing
as you would for Charge Attack Snap.
Charge Ki Blast Max - Hold down Y until fully charged. Once fully charged,
you will automatically attack. The Ki blast effect varies depending on your
character.
/////////////Defense\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Defense - Right Bumper. Defends against the opponent's attacks.
Sways - Right Bumper + X. Evades an opponent's Rush Attack. Specially tailored
to defending against Rush Attacks.
Vanishing - Right Bumper + A. Evades an opponent's attack. Specially tailored
to defending against Charge Attacks.
Snap-Vanishing - Evade an opponent's attack by pressing Right Bumper right as
the attack hits.
Counter - Right Bumper + Y. Counters an opponent's Smash Attack. Specially
tailored to defending against Smash Attacks.
Recovery From Faint - Press X, Y, B, A repeatedly. The lower your health the
more you have to press buttons to recover.
/////////////Movement\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Normal Movement - Move Left Stick. The more you move Left Stick, the faster
you will move.
Jump - Light press Left Bumper. While jumping, use X for a physical attack
and Y to use a Ki blast. Both types of attacks can be charged.
Ascend - Hold down Left Bumper. Use Left Bumper + A for quick ascend.
Descend - Hold down Left Trigger. Use Left Trigger + A for quick ascend.
Dashing - Left Stick + A. You'll dash in the direction in which you move Left
Stick. Continue to hold to maintain your dash.
Homing Dash - Press A without moving Left Stick to home in on your opponent.
Press A one more time to stop.
Super Dash - Press A while canceling Homing Dash. You will dash and move
behind the opponent.
Super Rising - Press Left Trigger and Left Bumper at the same time. You'll
move quickly upwards.
Sudden Stop - Press Right Bumper during Homing Dash, Super Dash, or Super
Rising. Can stop dashing.

Galaxy Mode (GLM)

So I looked at the MASSIVE amount of ??? every where in the game and decided
that the easiest way to divde these up is by their respective fights in
Galaxy Mode. So instead of xbox huge lists of items, powers, bgms, etc. You
can just look at each person's Galaxy Mode list and see what they unlock for
each battle. There's hardly anything not unlocked in Galaxy Mode so if you
want the short and sweet version: 100% Galaxy Mode and you unlock everything.
Note: In order to unlock everything for each battle you must at least receive
an A ranking or higher. Also, if a battle has a Perfect Action List; you must
complete that as well. (Yes, this game is that damn annoying.) You will know
when you have unlocked everything if the "CLEARED" lettering beneath the
planet icon is glowing gold.

Dragonball Wish List (DWL)

Listed here are the various unlockables you receive from Shenron and Porunga
as wishes. In order to make Shrenron / Porunga appear, you must first collect
seven dragonballs. This can be done by beating boss battles in Galaxy Mode.
One dragonball per boss. Then go to Single Play and select Shenron / Porunga.
Shenron will grant any one wish, while Porunga (who appears to be random)
will grant three. Once you've unlocked all their wishes, they will no longer
grant them. Instead you will now be able to view their summon "movies" in the
video gallery.

Well there you have it, the longest guide I will probably ever pen and the
last guide I'll be making for a while. This piece definitely burnt me out as
I haven't slept for about 30 hours as of right now. This game is just that
crazy long, though the Galaxy Mode is seriously lacking depth and any sub-
stance. However, this game was still enjoyable to an extent and it's a great
game for DBZ fans to have in their collection.
