Levels =============== As you progress through the Career mode, you will earn experience for completing Races and Missions. Before each race, there will be an experience amount beneath the ticket name. You will also earn experience from doing the race. The higher you finish and the greater the challenge, the more XP you will earn. You can also earn XP by completing Missions. To view the missions and how close you are to completing the objectives, go to 'My Stuff' in your trailer. Missions vary from driving X amount of miles to jumping X amount of feet. Mission will be addressed later on. If you level up or complete the requirements for a mission during a race, a notice will appear at the bottom of the screen. Earning XP will help you level up and progress through the Tour. I will only go up to Level 30 because that is that last time you will earn a Trophy or Achievement for reaching a certain level Driver Level-XP Needed, Rewards ------------------------------- Level 1-0 XP Level 2-6,000 XP Level 3-12,000 XP Level 4-18,000 XP Level 5-24,000 XP, Events in Morocco, New Co-pilot Level 6-30,000 XP, Events in Japan Level 7-37,000 XP Level 8-44,000 XP, X Games Europe Level 9-51,000 XP Level 10-63,000 XP Level 11-75,000 XP, Events in Malaysia Level 12-94,500 XP, Events in China Level 13-114,000 XP Level 14-133,500 XP, X Games Asia Level 15-153,000 XP, 'Getting A Reputation' Trophy or Achievement Level 16-172,500 XP, Events in Utah Level 17-192,000 XP, Events in Los Angeles Level 18-211,500 XP Level 19-231,000 XP Level 20-270,500 XP Level 21-310,000 XP Level 22-349,500 XP Level 23-389,000 XP Level 24-428,500 XP, X Games America Level 25-468,000 XP, MG Metro 6R4 Level 26-507,500 XP Level 27-547,000 XP Level 28-586,500 XP Level 29-626,000 XP Level 30-665,500 XP, 'As Good As It Gets' Trophy or Achievement ============ DRT2.2. Cars ============ On the DiRT Tour, you can view your vehicles either by entering an event or by going to 'My Rides' outside of your trailer. Vehicles are broken into 7 classes: Rally, Trailblazer, Rally Cross, Stock Baja, Trophy Truck, Class 1 Buggy, and Raid T1. Before you begin each race, there will be little icons at the bottom of the ticket that will tell you which vehicle classes are allowed for the Races. All vehicles are available from the beginning and all are classified as Rookie. In order to do higher events as you progress through the Tour, you will need to upgrade your vehicles to the next level. There are 3 different levels: Rookie, Pro, and All-Star. You can either upgrade before you start the event or by going to 'My Rides'. If you decide to take an upgraded car into a lower division, your car will temporarily be downgraded to whatever division you are going into. You will also unlock different Liveries, Toys, and Horns. When you win Liveries, you will be told which vehicles can be outfitted with the Livery. Any Toys, which are just sit on your dashboard or hang from your rear-view mirror, can be used on all vehicle, same with Horns. Each car has three stats: Top Speed, Acceleration, and Drivability. The more full the bar, the faster your car will go, the faster it will be starting from a stop, and the better the handling will be. Each stat maxes out at 10. Vehicles that are classified as Trailblazer, Rally, or Rally Cross are the same for each class. These vehicles are the only vehicles that can move among classes. To do so, you must first purchase a conversion pack to make your car able to move between the three. For example, the first car you own is originally only allowed in Rally Cross events. To allow it to compete in Rally or Trailblazer events, you must first purchase the Rally or Trailblazer conversion pack. You will be prompted to do so before the start of a race if your car is ineligible. You can also take care of this in 'My Rides'. If you convert your car from one class to another, your car will permanently be eligible for any events it has been converted for and you won't have to re-buy conversion packs for the same car. ============== DRT2.2A. DiRT Tour ================= When you start the Tour, Travis Pastrana will explain most of the basic functions to you. You will create a profile name, which will appear on the Leaderboard during the events. Then you will select a nickname from either 'Guys', 'Girls', or 'Nicknames'. This will be how the Pros will refer to you during the Tour. You will obtain your first car: a Subaru Impreza STi Group N. You will only have one event available and that is in London. Before you begin the event, you will be able to view all cars available to be used for the event, but you will only be able to purchase maybe one of the because you begin the Tour with $150,000. Before each race you will be able to choose the difficulty you want to participate at. There are 6 difficulty levels: Easy, Casual, Serious, Savage, Extreme, and Hardcore. The lower the difficulty level, the more Flashbacks you will be able to use during the event. Easy races will allow you to use 5 Flashbacks and Hardcore races won't allow you any. The higher the difficulty settings, the more money you can earn based on where you finish. Your finishing position will also earn you more XP. For every event win, you will earn XP equal to 10% of the XP available for winning the Ticket =============== DRT2.3A. Rookie =============== In the beginning, only Rookie events will be available to you. As you progress farther and increase your Driver Level, you will be able to access higher Levels, but you will have to upgrade your vehicle first. If you decide to re-do events on Rookie and have already upgraded the vehicle you wish to use, you can still use it but it will be reverted to its original stats. You will have all Rookie Events unlocked at Level 7. London Events ------------- Ticket Name: Battle of Battersea Event Type: Rally Cross Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Battersea Air (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 5,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 This will be the only race available to you once you begin the Tour. Occasionally during the race, Dave and Katie will talk to you if something happens to you. If you bump into other drivers too many times, they will get a little aggravated with you. If you win the race, you can get the 'Rookie Coming Through!' and 'Nailed an Event' Trophies or Achievements. Rewards: Dodge Power Wagon Ticket Name: King of Battersea Event Type: Last Man Standing Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Battersea Bridge Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 6,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 After doing the first events in London, Baja, and Croatia, more events will open up. You will watch another video about Last Man Standing events before you begin. About 40 seconds into the race, a countdown timer will appear in the middle of the screen. Once the timer hits zero, last place will be eliminated and the timer will reset. The timer runs for 20 seconds. After winning the event, Dave Mirra will challenge you to a Timed Throwdown Ticket Name: Kerrang! Battersea Blast Event Type: Rally Cross Vehicles Allowed: Colin McRae R4 or BMW Z4 M Coupe Races: Battersea Bridge B (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Katie Justice 5,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 If you don't own either vehicle allowed for this event, there will be a black car icon with and exclamation point in a red circle. They are the only vehicles your opponents will use as well. This track is the same as Battersea Bridge except you will be going the opposite direction. Other than that everything is the same Baja Events ----------- Ticket Name: Simpson Rugido en Baja Event Type: Land Rush Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Ensenada Sprint (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 5,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 After you finish the event in London, Dave Mirra will invite you to a Land Rush event in Baja, California. Before you enter the event, you will turn your attention to a TV set in your trailer and it will give you some information about Land Rush events. Unless you purchase another vehicle, you will only have access to the Dodge Power Wagon you received in the London event. Win the race and you will receive the 'Gnarly!' Trophy or Achievement because there will be a jump you hit right before crossing the finish line Ticket Name: Bully Dog De Maraton Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Spillway (3.7 miles) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 6,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 Once again, another video will play explaining how Raids work. There are shortcuts that you can take but some may not be as helpful compared to staying on the main track. The pack will come together about a quarter of the way into the race. There are 2 tight 180-degree turns, one after the other, but after that, things begin to thin out. If you are in the Top 3 going into the two turns, the only person you should have to worry about for the rest of the race is Mirra Ticket Name: Dirt Bagz En Ensenada Event Type: Gate Crasher (61 Gates) Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Spillway Short (1.9 miles) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 4,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 An intro video the Gate Crasher events and then choose your difficulty. The course is the same as the previous race. The event will end either when the time runs out or you cross the finish line. Every time you crash through a Gate, 2 seconds will be added to the timer. You won't have as much freedom on the course as you did with the last race. Smashing gates will also count towards the Environmentalist Missions. The winner will be whoever has the most time remaining on the clock when they cross the finish line. Smash all gates and earn the 'Gate Crashed!' Trophy or Achievement. Ticket Name: K&N En Ensenada Event Type: Land Rush Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Ensenada (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 5,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 The start may be a little congested just because of the fact that it is a Land Rush but other than that this race isn't much different than the first Rookie ticket here. The only difference between the two is that it is different tracks Ticket Name: Ironclad Enduro en Baja Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Peninsula Run (3.2 miles) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 6,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 Most of this course is very tight, so don't expect to be running three wide. After about halfway, it is possible to slide off of the track, so be careful not to go to fast into the turns Croatia ------- Ticket Name: Brombo Velebitska Avantura Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Hairpin Run (2.0 miles) Pros in Event: Katie Justice 4,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 After you finish the event in London, Katie Justice will invite you to a Rally event in Croatia. Just like with the Baja event, you will watch a short video on Rally events before you begin. When you go to select your vehicle, you will see that your Subaru that you used in London is ineligible to participate without a Rally kit. You will get a call from Travis Pastrana and he will pay for the kit for you. During this event, you will have your co-pilot riding with you. She will tell you when the next turn is coming up, which way to turn, how sharp the turn is, if anyone ahead of you wrecked. The winner is the driver with the fastest time Ticket Name: Scott Novigrad Raid Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Novigrad (2.6 miles) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 6,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 There are many different paths to take in this race. It is up to you to decide which you want to take. None of them will completely mess you up but some contain sharp turns with little room. Don't be surprised if you need to use some flashbacks to help you stay in the race. Go to the left when the track splits and goes uphill about three-quarters of the way through the race Ticket Name: Flip Riviera Event Type: Gate Crasher (53 Gates) Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Chapel Run (2.0 miles) Pros in Event: Ken Block and Travis Pastrana 4,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 This is a very tight track. Try and stay in the middle of track as best as possible because if you go too wide into the turn, you may slide right off of the track. It is also a good idea to stay away from the mountain side because you may lose control very easily and it could cost you the win. Crashing through gates will still add 2 seconds to the countdown timer. After winning, Ken Block will challenge you to a Throwdown. Ticket Name: Shoei Obaina Jurnjava Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Chapel Run (2.0 miles) Pros in Event: Katie Justice 4,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 This will probably be the third time you have been here. Your co-pilot will be directing you again. Try your best to stay in the middle of the track because it is easy to run up the side of the mountain and flip a few times. There is a possibility of using all of your flashbacks Ticket Name: Breed Opasni Prijevoj Riviera Event Type: Gate Crasher (57 Gates) Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Hairpin Run (2.0 miles) Pros in Event: Katie Justice and Jayde Taylor 4,000 XP Easy: $50,625 Casual: $54,000 Serious: $57,375 Savage: $60,750 Extreme: $64,125 Hardcore: $67,500 The Gates in this event aren't very scattered. Going through most of the hairpins, you will probably encounter 2-3 gates per turn, which can add about 4-6 seconds onto the timer Morocco ------- You won't gain access to events in Morocco until you reach Level 5 Ticket Name: Scott Rally Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Ait Benhaddou (2.0 miles) Pros in Event: Jayde Taylor 4,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 The elevation changes a lot in this race, mainly in the beginning. Most of the turns won't have something jumping out at you. This will probably be the first Rally event you do where the terrain changes. At least twice, your co-pilot will say the terrain changes from dirt to tarmac. After winning, Jayde Taylor will challenge you to a Throwdown Ticket Name: PIAA Trailblazer Event Type: Trailblazer Vehicles Allowed: Trailblazer; Rally and Rally Cross with Trailblazer kit Races: Ounila Descent (4.3 miles) Pros in Event: Katie Justice and Jayde Talyor 6,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 This will probably be your first Trailblazer event so there will be a little video that gives you information about the event. Travis Pastrana will pay for your Subaru's Trailblazer kit, but if you wish to use a different car, you'll have to pay for the kit. Compared to most other courses, this one is wide open. This race also uses staggered starts; however, there is a very good chance that you will end up passing a few opponents. There are a bunch of tight turns around three-quarters of the way through the race Ticket Name: Simpson Land Rush Event Type: Land Rush Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Hammada Circuit (2 Laps) Pros in Event: None 5,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 The only problem you may have with this course is everyone grouped together at the start. This course is fairly easy since most of the turns are wide plus there is plenty of room. After winning, Travis Pastrana will challenge you to a Throwdown Ticket Name: Breed Raid Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Kasbah Trail (3.0 miles) Pros in Event: Jayde Taylor 6,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 The first quarter of the race will take place in a city, which will make trying to pass fun because there isn't very much room. Your best bet would be to run them into buildings going through the turns. Around halfway, the track will split. Take the right path, it is more straight you'll come out way ahead of anyone who takes the other path, just be careful coming out; you'll go through a very short, tight chicane and driving a big bulky vehicle doesn't make it any easier Ticket Name: Brembo Rally Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Tamdaght (3.1 miles) Pros in Event: Jayde Taylor 4,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 This track is identical to the first Ticket here. Just do the same thing you did for that race. The times that your opponents run should be pretty close to what they were the first time you were here Japan ----- You won't gain access to events in Japan until you reach Level 6 Ticket Name: Recaro Rally Cross Event Type: Rally Cross Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Shibuya (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Ken Block and Tanner Foust 5,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 This track is very technical. There are turns everywhere with few straights, but the straights are long. Watch your speed going through the turns because if you spin at the wrong time, it may take you a while to catch back up with the pack Ticket Name: Domination Event Type: Domination Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Shibuya (2 Laps) Pros in Event: Ken Block 5,000 XP Easy: $61,875 Casual: $66,000 Serious: $70,125 Savage: $74,250 Extreme: $78,375 Hardcore: $82,500 You will watch a video on Domination event because this will most likely be the first one you encounter. You will be going back to Shibuya, so try to keep things the way they were on the previous Ticket. In Domination events, you are scored by your time through each sector. You will also earn points based on your finishing position. Get the fastest time in each sector and win the race and you can earn the 'Dominated!' Trophy or Achievement. After winning, you will be challenge to a Throwdown by Mohammed Ben Sulayem. ============ DRT2.3B. Pro ============ Your first Pro events will be unlocked around Level 10 or 11. To participate in Pro division events, you must first upgrade your vehicle. To upgrade any car to Pro, you will need to pay $75,000 per car. At the end of the second race, the team with the most points will be the winner. If you don't win either race but your team still wins the event you can earn both the 'Gut It Out' and 'Pro' Trophies or Achievements, at least if this is your first Pro event Ticket Name: Flip Domination Battersea Event Type: Domination Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Battersea Air (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Ken Block and Tanner Foust 9,000 XP Easy: $67,500 Casual: $72,000 Serious: $76,500 Savage: $81,000 Extreme: $85,500 Hardcore: $90,000 You've probably raced here enough to know when to enter the turn and when turns are coming up. Just like in London, at the end of each event your score and your partner's score will be added up for a team score. Due to the amount of Pros in the event, most likely one team will be made up of just Pros Ticket Name: Rey de Baja Event Type: Domination Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Ensenada Sprint (3 Laps), Ensenada (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 Be careful after the start. Take that path and that will make going through that turn easier because you won't loose much speed. Afterwards, Katie will challenge you to a Throwdown Morocco ------- Ticket Name: Skin Trailblazer Event Type: Trailblazer Vehicles Allowed: Trailblazer; Rally and Rally Cross with Trailblazer kit Races: Ounila Valley (4.3 miles), Ounila Descent (4.3 miles) Pros in Event: Jayde Taylor and Mohammed Ben Sulayem 10,000 XP Easy: $56,250 Casual: $60,000 Serious: $63,750 Savage: $67,500 Extreme: $71,250 Hardcore: $75,000 The second race will be on the same track as the first, except you will be going the opposite direction as you did in the first race Ticket Name: KMC Wheels Domination Event Type: Domination Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Hammada Circuit (3 Laps), Hammada Sprint (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 The first sectors for both races will be the same. In the first race, the track goes off to the right after Sector 1. In the second race, the track continues straight. Both races become similar again going around the last turn to the finish Ticket Name: Simpson Raid Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Kasbah Trail (3.0 miles) Pros in Event: Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, and Katie Justice 10,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This is a team event, so choose a Pro whose specialties include Raid. There is a good chance that Ken and Travis will make up one team Ticket Name: Skyjacker Land Rush Event Type: Land Rush Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Hammada Sprint (8 Laps) Pros in Event: Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $78,750 Casual: $84,000 Serious: $89,250 Savage: $94,500 Extreme: $99,750 Hardcore: $105,000 This is the same track as the second event of the 'KMC Wheels Domination' Ticket. Only difference is the race is almost three times longer. Katie will challenge you to a Throwdown after winning Ticket Name: DC Last Man Standing Event Type: Last Man Standing Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Hammada Circuit, Hammada Sprint Pros in Event: Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 You should have a pretty good handle on both of these tracks; since they have been about the only places you have raced here in the Pro division Japan ----- Ticket Name: Scott Last Man Standing Event Type: Last Man Standing Vehicles Allowed: Rally Cross; Rally and Trailblazer with Rally Cross kit Races: Shibuya B Pros in Event: Dave Mirra 9,000 XP Easy: $67,500 Casual: $72,000 Serious: $76,500 Savage: $81,000 Extreme: $85,500 Hardcore: $90,000 The same as the Shibuya course, except you go the opposite direction Ticket Name: Bit Valley Rally Cross Event Type: Rally Cross Vehicles Allowed: Subaru Impreza WRX STi and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Races: Shibuya B (3 Laps), Shibuya (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Ken Block and Travis Pastrana 11,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This Ticket features both versions of the Shibuya course. Everyone will be in either the Impreza or Evo X Malaysia -------- Ticket Name: BF Goodrich Ladang Oleh Rally Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Ladang Sprint (2.2 miles), Ladang Mine Run (2.3 miles) Pros in Event: Travis Pastrana and Jayde Taylor 9,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This will probably be your first time in Malaysia because there are no Rookie events in Malaysia. The first course has enough room to maneuver your car without hitting too much. About the first three-quarters of the race will be on mud and then it switches to sand. Be careful you don't cut too close to the inside of the last turn because cars aren't very good at swimming. The second course is completely different from the first and almost all of it is on mud. You still finish at the same spot but you come from a different direction. After winning, Jayde will challenge you to a Throwdown Ticket Name: Simpson Kampong Oleh Raid Event Type: Raid Vehicles Allowed: Raid T1 Races: Rawang Trail (3.1 miles) Pros in Event: Travis Pastrana and Katie Justice 10,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This course has a lot of objects jutting out around turns so be careful that you don't cut too far to the inside. Around halfway, when the track will splits go to the right. It is easier to navigate. Also the track will split again around the start of Sector 4. When you reach that point, go to the left Ticket Name: Black Label Di Malaysia Oleh Gate Crasher Event Type: Gate Crasher (69 gates in each event) Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Ladang Sprint (2.2 miles), Ladang Mine Run (2.3 miles) Pros in Event: Travis Pastrana and Jayde Taylor 9,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This Ticket is the same as the first Ticket here except you will be crashing through the gates Ticket Name: Skyjacker Penyeransen Domination Event Type: Domination Vehicles Allowed: Stock Baja and Raid T1 Races: Tanamera (3 Laps), Tanamera Falls (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $78,750 Casual: $84,000 Serious: $89,250 Savage: $94,500 Extreme: $99,750 Hardcore: $105,000 The tracks are somewhat the same. Both have plenty of room for passing other competitors. The middle section of the second course is different than the first and the track tightens a little. Sector 4 is the same for both tracks Ticket Name: PIAA Tanamera Oleh Land Rush Event Type: Land Rush Vehicles Allowed: Trophy Truck and Class 1 Buggy Races: Tanamera (3 Laps), Tanamera Falls (3 Laps) Pros in Event: Dave Mirra and Katie Justice 11,000 XP Easy: $78,750 Casual: $84,000 Serious: $89,250 Savage: $94,500 Extreme: $99,750 Hardcore: $105,000 This Ticket is virtually identical to the previous Ticket except for the Vehicles Allowed and Event Type. After winning, Katie will challenge you to a Throwdown China ----- Ticket Name: Ogio Rally Event Type: Rally Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Li River Descent (1.7 miles), Li River Hillclimb (1.8 miles) Pros in Event: Tanner Foust, Jayde Taylor, and Mohammed Ben Sulayem 9,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 This may be the first time you will race in China. Because the first race takes place around dusk, it may be hard to see some of the environmental obstacles through Sector 1. Other than that, the first course is relatively easy, mainly because it is short and fast. The second course is a little tighter than the first. About three-quarters of the way through Sector 2, there is a very narrow bridge with nothing keeping you from falling off the bridge so be careful turning on to it Ticket Name: Recaro Trailblazer Event Type: Trailblazer Vehicles Allowed: Trailblazer; Rally and Rally Cross with Trailblazer kit Races: Yu Yong Sprint B (2.7 miles), Yu Yong Sprint (2.6 miles) Pros in Event: Mohammed Ben Sulayem 9,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 The first is open for the most part. Right after beginning Sector 2, you have to maneuver through a few hairpins in a village. To finish the race, you will go across the same narrow bridge that was in the first race of the previous ticket, and the finish will be right after it. The second race will begin from the beginning of Sector 4 of the first race and go the opposite way the first race did. You will continue past where the first race started and then you will see the finish Ticket Name: BF Goodrich Gate Crasher Event Type: Gate Crasher (56 & 55 gates respectively) Vehicles Allowed: Rally; Rally Cross and Trailblazer with Rally kit Races: Li River Hillclimb (1.8 miles), Li River Descent (1.7 miles) Pros in Event: Travis Pastrana 9,000 XP Easy: $67,500 Casual: $72,000 Serious: $76,500 Savage: $81,000 Extreme: $85,500 Hardcore: $90,000 This Ticket will be the same as the first except the order you do the races is reversed Ticket Name: Oakley Trailblazer Event Type: Trailblazer Vehicles Allowed: Trailblazer; Rally and Rally Cross with Trailblazer kit Races: Yu Yong (5.5 miles), Yu Yong B (5.5 miles) Pros in Event: Mohammed Ben Sulayem and Jayde Taylor 10,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 These courses combine elements of all the other three courses you have already competed on. Be careful when the road is paved because most likely, one side of the road will not have anything to save you if get too close to the edge. Jayde will challenge you to a Throwdown after winning Utah ---- Ticket Name: BF Goodrich Kane Springs Trailblazer Event Type: Trailblazer Vehicles Allowed: Trailblazer; Rally and Rally Cross with Trailblazer kit Races: Hurrah Pass (5.4 miles) Pros in Event: Jayde Taylor and Mohammed Ben Sulayem 9,000 XP Easy: $73,125 Casual: $78,000 Serious: $82,875 Savage: $87,750 Extreme: $92,625 Hardcore: $97,500 The first sector of this race is probably the easiest you will ever encounter in this game due to lack of sharp turns. This is also probably your first and best chance at getting the 'Terminated' Trophy or Achievement. Pick a car with
a high 'Speed' rating (the BMW Z4 will work nicely) and right before the first
right turn, there will be a lone rock sitting just beyond the track. Run into
that while doing at least 140 mph and you will get 'Terminated'. If that is
the
first time you have ever terminated yourself, one of the Pros will tell you
that all you have to do is use a flashback. Use one and continue with the
race.
From about halfway through Sector 2 through the rest of the race, be very
careful not to lose control of your car. One wrong move can send you flying
off
a cliff. The only thing you can do is use a flashback (if you have one) or
restart. Don't be surprised if one of your opponents happens to crash out
because they went over the edge

Ticket Name: Black Label Utah Trailblazer

Savage: $81,000
Extreme: $85,500
Hardcore: $90,000
This course is the same as Hurrah Pass, except you are driving on the opposite
direction. So now you have to be careful of the cliffs in the beginning. Once
again, don't be surprised if one of your opponents drops out because they
totaled their car

Your first All-Star events will be unlocked around Level 19 or 20. To
participate in All-Star division events, you must upgrade your vehicle again.
To upgrade any car to All-Star, you will need to pay $150,000 per car. If you
upgrade a car that still hasn't been upgraded to Pro, when you upgrade it to

will be downgraded to the class you are entering. On some of the All-Star

DRT2.3D. Throwdowns
===================
After certain points, some of the Pros you race against will challenge you to
a
Throwdown. There are three different types of Throwdowns. The first is a
One-on-One Throwdown. In these Throwdowns, you will race the Pro one-on-one
and
all you have to do to win the Throwdown is win the race. The second Throwdown
type is a Shootout Throwdown. In these races, you will be racing a bunch of
other drivers instead of just the Pro. To win, you need to finish in 3rd place
or higher. The final type of Throwdown is a Timed Throwdown. In these events,
you need to beat the time set by the Pro on the track. Throwdowns are a good
way to earn XP and befriend the Pros. Throwdowns can be unlocked at any time.
Whatever race type you were doing before you unlocked the Throwdown will be
the
same race type you do for the Throwdown. For example, if you are doing a
Ticket
where you competed in a Rally and afterwards a Pro challenges you to a
Throwdown, the Throwdown will be a Rally race as well. Also, you will be
limited to one of the vehicles classes used before unlocking the Throwdown

DRT2.3G. Colin McRae Challenge
==============================
After winning all 3 X Games, one of the Pros will tell you about the Colin
McRae Challenge. The Challenge is a tribute to Colin McRae who died in a
helicopter crash in 2007. It is a set of 3 Rally races, all taking place in
Asia. You will not earn any money from doing the Challenge, only experience
and
a Trophy or Achievement.

Unlock: Win X Games Europe, Asia, and America
Vehicles Allowed: Ford Escort MK II
Pros in Event: Ken Block
24,000 XP
Event Order: Li River (China), Mali Alan Pass (Croatia), Ladang Long
(Malaysia)
Ken may be the only Pro you face repeatedly throughout the game, but all your
other competitors are famous racers as well. Your competition will include
Jimmy McRae, Colin's father, and Alister McRae, Colin's brother along with IRL
driver Dario Franchitti, former F1 driver David Coulthard, Valentino Rossi
from
MotoGP, and former WRC driver Ari Vatanen. Everyone will be driving the Ford
Escort MK II. After winning, you will be shown a video about Colin McRae with
clips from his races

===================
DRT2.4. Event Types
===================
There are various event types that you will participate in on the DiRT Tour.
Except for the World Tours, all events on a Ticket will be the same discipline
and the race type will be written somewhere on the Ticket.

Rally
-----
Rally races are fast-paced and traverse various terrains and landscapes. These
courses are full of twists, turns, and varying altitudes. During Rally events,
you will have a co-pilot helping to guide you through the race. Your co-pilot
will tell you about upcoming turns and how sharp they are as well as other
things about the course. You only have one co-pilot start out but you will
unlock another at Level 5. Rally races use staggered starts

Rally Cross
-----------
Rally Cross events take place on circuit tracks. Throughout the course of the
race, you will race over both dirt and tarmac. Many of the tracks are tight,
but there are a few courses that are more open than others

Trailblazer
-----------
Just like Rally races, Trailblazer events also use staggered starts.
Trailblazer courses are wide open and are very fast. They are also
point-to-point races. These courses are somewhat similar to Rally races, but
turns aren't as sharp and hills aren't constant

Raid
----
Raid races are also point-to-point races. In Raid races, you will find many
different paths available. Some are more helpful than others. Try to pick the
path the goes directly with the course when the paths merge, that way you
won't
lose as much speed when the paths combine again. In Raid races, you will start
side-by-side

Land Rush
---------
Land Rush races combine some elements of the other race types. In Land Rush
event, everyone will start out side-by-side. Some races will be on circuit
tracks and some will be point-to-point courses.

Gate Crasher
------------
Gate Crasher events are a special race mode. The courses will be restricted so
that there is only one path, if there isn't already. There will be gates
scattered around the course. Before you start, a timer will appear on the
screen. You will be the last one to go. Each gate that you crash will add 2
seconds to the timer. The winner is whoever has the most time left on the
timer.

Domination
----------
Domination events will only take place on circuit courses. You will be timed
through each sector and at the end of each sector; you will earn points based
on your time through the sector. On the left side of the screen, the track
will
be broken down into sectors. Each sector will show your rank in each sector.
Scoring is broken down the following way: 10/8/6/5/4/3/2/1. You will earn
points based on your rank in each sector as well as your overall finishing
position

Last Man Standing
-----------------
Last Man Standing events are basically elimination events. Once 40 seconds
have
passed since the event began, a 20 second timer will begin counting down.
Every
time it reaches 0, last place will be eliminated until only one driver
remains.
These events will be complete after 3 minutes

================
DRT2.5. Missions
================
Missions are another way to earn XP. Each mission has 5 phases. The higher the
phase you complete, the more XP you will earn. If you complete a Mission phase
during an event, you will receive a notification at the bottom of the screen
telling you which Mission and which phase you completed and the amount of XP
you received as a reward. There are 11 different Missions. The amounts listed
for Phase II through Phase V are total amounts, not additional amounts.
