******************************************************************************* WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Trophy Guide ******************************************************************************* =============================================================================== Introduction =============================================================================== This is a guide intended for players that wish to earn all the trophies for WWE Legends of Wrestlemania for the Playstation 3. As of this writing, I looked around on the web for some trophy guides for this game, but in my opinion, the ones that I read didn't do a very good job explaning how the game works and how to earn some of the trophies. I've read a lot of comments saying earning the platinum (which is what is earned after receiving all the other trophies) was "easy" to do. I would beg to differ here, and although it is "easier" than a lot of games, I think it far from qualifies as being "easy" relative of course, to your own definition of what an easy game is. My hope with this guide was to maybe help some other players along with their trophy hunting, and try to give some advice on how to play since the game doesn't do a very good job in teaching in how the controls are set-up and whatnot. =============================================================================== Table of Contents =============================================================================== You can copy the shortcuts found in parenthesis on the right-hand side, and then paste it into your browser's search/find function to jump to that specific section. 1) About this Game (ABT1) 2) Overview (OVR2) 3) Controls and Advice (CAA3) 3.1) General Advice (GNA3) 3.2) Reversals (RVR3) 3.3) Chain Struggles (CHS3) 3.4) Chain Level (CLV3) 3.5) The Various QTEs (VQT3) 3.6) Opponent on the Ropes and in the Corners (RPC3) 3.7) Pins vs. Submissions (PVS3) 3.8) The Basic Strategy (STR3) 4) Trophy List (TRL4) 5) Trophy Walkthrough (TRW5) 5.0) Getting Started (GTS5) 5.1) Creating a Legend (CRT5) 5.2) Legend Killer Mode (LGD5) 5.21) New Legend trophy (NEW5) 5.22) Legend Killer trophy (LGK5) 5.23) Super Fast Legend Killer trophy (SFT5) 5.24) You're #1 trophy (NUM5) 5.3) Wrestlemania Tour Mode (WMT5) 5.31) Relive (REL5) 5.31A) Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy (HKK5) 5.31B) Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant (HAG5) 5.31C) Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan (WHH5) 5.31D) Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. This was actually my very first WWE game I've played (despite it being decently old now), so I wasn't really sure what to expect. This is a fighting game, but it's pretty basic in terms of design and overall I would say it doesn't take that much finesse to play. You're not expected to pull off long chains of complex combo attacks or anything of that nature. What you'll find is that the majority of the fights revolve around QTEs (quick-time-events). If you're not familar with them, they are events where the player is expected to press a button, or multiple buttons, in a given timeframe. As far the QTEs go, it's mostly pretty forgiving, so even if you hate them like I do, it's not difficult to execute them. Further, most of the events are not terribly long, and generally only consist of 2 to 3 button presses. If you wish to know more about what you have to do to earn all of the trophies, go to the "Overview" section, which is the next section. =============================================================================== Overview (OVR2) =============================================================================== Estimated time to earn all trophies: ~8 to 10 hours Online trophies?: No Difficulty settings: Playing entirely on Easy is allowed What you will be doing in attempting to earn the trophies: The bulk of the trophies are split up into 2 game modes, the WrestleMania Tour, and Legend Killer Mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wrestlemania Tour: Here, you replay a match that occured during a past WrestleMania. During these matches, there are specific objectives you're going to need to complete, and these vary depending on which type of WrestleMania tour you're doing. In "Relive" the objectives are fairly specific: winning a specific QTE, hitting someone in the back, breaking a table, and so on. In "Redefine" and "Rewrite" they're generally based on regular game mechanics: perform a Reversal, use a Finisher, use a Taunt, etc. You may wonder what the "medals" are all about, in WrestleMania Tour mode, they are tied to objectives. The objectives have a specific amount of "points" tied to them, and if you earn enough points, you will earn a medal. The amount of points (and hence, amount of objectives you have to complete) in order to earn a medal vary in each match. For the majority of the matches, you don't actually need to complete all the objectives to earn a medal. In order to earn all the trophies, you will need to earn all of the medals. This means you will have to complete the majority of the objectives for all matches in "Relive", "Rewrite", and "Redefine". An example: The first "Rewrite" match with Junkyard Dog vs. Greg Valentine has 5 total objectives, each worth 20 points, for a total of 100 points. To earn a medal, you must earn 80 points. So to earn the medal, you can pick-and-choose 4 of the objectives to complete. It doesn't matter which objectives you complete, just as long as you meet the 80 total point threshold. The catch: The issue with the objectives is the fact that you have to complete them in one match; let's say you earn 40 points in a match, and you have to earn 80 to earn a gold. This means that you cannot simply redo the match and earn another 40, and expect to earn a gold. You have to earn 80 points in exactly one match (as well as win the match once the objectives are complete). Although that may seem a little daunting at times, realize that for the vast majority of the matches, it simply requires an understanding of the game mechanics and getting things set-up correctly (which hopefully this guide will help with). The only time that this becomes a large issue is the very last "Relive" match with Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock. In this match, ALL objectives need to be completed to earn gold. Not only that, but the objective list is the longest out of all matches, and some of those objectives require very specific things. I also think it's somewhat important to point out that the number of objectives you have to complete (as well as the specificity of them) increase as you progress through Wrestlemania's various modes. At first, you only have to complete a few objectives for a medal, and they're mostly easy to accomplish. As matches continue to unlock, you will need to complete the majority of the objectives to earn a medal. Overall: Just realize that while most matches themselves generally only take 5-10 minutes, you might end up resetting these matches over and over until you can get them right. This is especially true of the "Relive" match with Stone Cold vs. The Rock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Legend Killer Mode: Legend Killer Mode is accessed in "Game Modes" as well, to the left of the WrestleMania Tour mode. In this mode, all you're doing is playing matches back-to-back. In this mode, only your Created Legend can be used, and no other character. This is the mode where you will earn experience for your Created Legend, and it has a number of trophies associated with it. To earn the medals in this mode, you simply need to complete each tier, although I'm pretty sure each tier needs to be completed in one sitting. There does not seem to be an option to pick up where you left off if you decide to quit, but perhaps I was just missing it. That said, all of the tiers but the last (All Star Legends) can be done in roughly 30 minutes, most of the time less than that. In fact, when you get enough practice and raise your Created Legend's stats some, the tiers can be completed in less than 20 minutes. The last tier, All Star Legends, is the longest, and it may take around an hour and a half to complete. Overall: Realize you'll be playing back-to-back matches in Legend Killer Mode, with no real option of stopping within the tier (unless you just decide to pause the game). All tiers but the last are 10 matches long, and the last is an unfortunate 38 matches long, making a very long sequence of fights. I felt Legend Killer mode was massively repetitive and quite boring to complete, so be prepared for that. =============================================================================== Controls and Advice (CAA3) =============================================================================== +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ General Advice (GNA3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The majority of the gameplay seems to revolve around Grapples. Grapples are performed by pressing (X), but what the game doesn't tell you is that the Grapple can change depending on: 1) Your position. This means you perform different Grapples if you're say, behind your opponent in comparison to being in front. Further, when your opponent is on the ground, you will do a different Grapple if you are near his legs in comparison to being near his head. 2) (X) is a Grapple, (X,X) is a different Grapple, and (Hold X) is also a different Grapple: a) (X) is your standard Grapple, and recognize there is some random elements to it. From my own testing, at times you cannot control which Grapple you will perform, although this isn't a concern throughout most of the game. In terms of damage and Chain Level boosts, every animation should be equivalent. However, one significant difference is trying to Grapple the opponents legs while they are on the ground - this can potentially trigger a Submission move, which the opponent may "give up" from, ending the match, which you may not want. b) (X,X) can only be performed on standing opponents, and it's a quick way to get behind your opponent (this is pretty much it's only function). c) (Hold X) is called your "Strong Grapple" and can only be used on opponent that are standing. It is important to note that these DO NOT initiate Chain Struggles on a groggy opponent. I suppose they do a bit more damage and increase the Chain Level more than a regular Grapple, but ultimately I never really used them outside of the objectives that forced me to. 3) You can combine (X) and (Hold X) Grapples with (Forward) on the analog stick (towards your opponent) for yet another different Grapple. 4) Being at a different Chain Level may give you access to different Grapples, depending on what character you are using. Strikes are mapped to the (Square) button, and are intended to get your opponent into the groggy state to initiate a Chain Struggle. There are two forms: 1) (Square) is a Light Strike. Each single press of (Square) will not put your opponent in a groggy state, but connecting multiple (Square) hits in a row can. 2) (Hold Square) is a Strong Strike. Connecting one of these hits on the opponent will put him in a groggy state. This goes over the basic of the basic. I will go explain more of the controls in further sections, but if you ever want a quick in-game reference of what the controls are, just press Start and check the "Tutorials" option. This will show you all of the controls, but the vast majority of the controls will be things you will not need to use to earn the trophies. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reversals (RVR3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reversals are probably the single most important thing to master while fighting. Personally, I usually dread the idea of counterattacks based on this manner, where you are supposed to time it correctly. Fortunately, with some practice,I was able to pick it up and do it consistently. I do have confidence if I can do it, you can too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To do a Reversal, you have to press (Back) on the analog stick (away from the opponent) and (Triangle) at the same time, right before the opponents attack. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you see your character do a kind of a brief "block" animation (where he puts his arms up) chances are you did it too early. If your opponent's hit connects, obviously you did it too late. So you want to try to get in between the two. Problem is, opponent's hits differ. For example, Andre the Giant's Light Strikes look different (and hence have different counter windows) then Ted DiBiase's. This goes for Strong Strikes as well, but not for Grapples (all regular and Strong Grapples look the same for all characters). So just because you've mastered countering one opponent doesn't mean you'll be able to counter everyone. Again, this is something that you should get practice on as much as you can. If you're playing on the easiest settings, you may not feel that it's really necessary to use Reversals regularly, but it's still important to master because there will be objectives to fulfill regarding Reversals, so it's still beneficial. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chain Struggles (CHS3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you read the above sections, you may wonder what a "Chain Struggle" is. This is the main QTE that you'll see the most in this game. It's important because it's the primary way to raise your Chain Level (read that section for more info) which will allow you to do Taunts and Finishers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chain Struggles are actually mapped to the same button as Grapple, (X), with the only difference of performing the Grapple while an opponent is *groggy*. Mind you, you cannot initiate Chain Struggles with the other various control inputs (X, X) and (Hold X). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What does groggy look like? Well, just what you think it might look like - the opponent will be swaying a bit, kind of like a typical "stun" animation. There are different animations though, so be aware of that. Do not confuse the "broken block" animation as a groggy state, because it is not. The "broken block" animation happens when you hit an opponent with a Strong Strike while they're blocking; your opponent will throw his arms in the air and kind of lose balance, but again, this is not a groggy state. You know when you initiate a Chain Struggle (or when an opponent intiates one) when you get a QTE to come up. At that point you just need to press the corresponding button that comes up on the screen before it disappears. If you miss one (by not doing it fast enough or pressing the wrong button) it will default to the AI, and you may receive a little damage, while your opponent will get a boost in their own Chain Level. The Chain Struggle may or may not continue though, depending on which one you missed; if you do miss one, don't just drop your guard. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chain Level (CLV3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Chain Level is the gauge under your character's yellow HP bar. It's red, and it starts off empty at level 1, and can be increased to level 3. At level 3, your character's Finisher (which is just another form of a Chain Struggle) can be initiated, and Finishers are the most damaging attacks you have. Keep in mind that Finishers will consume ALL of your Chain Level, meaning it will go back to level 1. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chain Levels also gives you the ability to use Taunts. There is only one Taunt I thought was really useful, which was the one that restores your health. This is done by: While the Chain level is at least level 2, press (Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle) at the same time. There are other Taunts available, but I did not find the rest of them useful at all. If you wish to know what they are, press Start during a match and go to the "Tutorial" option to check the rest of them out. Taunts will also consume the Chain Level, depending on which you use. Most, including the healing one, consume 1 level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Chain Level increases with every attack, but Strikes and regular Grapples don't really boost it much. The best way to raise your Chain Level is via winning Chain Struggles (read that section for more info). +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Various QTEs (VQT3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Regardless if you read the Chain Struggle section or not, you'll probably understand how to complete that QTE when it comes up. However, there are different QTEs found in this game, some of which may seem a little more confusing as to what's going on. Here's what else you will see in the game: 1) When you're on the ground: Your HP bar will be replaced with the 4 controller buttons (Square, X, Triangle, and Circle) and you'll see a circle surrounding them. To recover (get up) you simply have to hold down one of these buttons to fill the circle. The rate that the circle fills up is based on your HP level; the less HP you have, the slower it fills up, hence the longer it takes for you to stand back up. 2) When you're pinned: This is similar to the QTE when you're on the ground, but with a twist. You'll see the same thing, the 4 buttons with a circle around them, but this time you want to fill the bar to a specific spot (a green colored section of the circle). The green colored section grows smaller as your HP lowers. You can fill the gauge by tapping any of those 4 buttons, or you can hold one down, but you can't mix the two (you can't tap part way and hold part way). If you cannot get the gauge into the green colored section by the count of 3, you will be pinned. 3) Submission moves: You'll know you're doing a Submission when you see, once more, the 4 controller buttons replace your HP gauge. The difference is whereas the previous 2 mentioned were defensive QTEs, obviously the animation that will play will be your character on the offensive. Also, there is no circle surrounding the 4 buttons. To finish this QTE, simply mash those 4 buttons. Do note that there is nothing for you to do when your opponent uses a Submission move on *you*. 4) Ropes/Corners/Outside the Ring: You encounter this QTE whenever you Grapple your opponent in a corner of the ring, on the ropes, and in various times outside of the ring (like when you are attempting to get a chair). This QTE is a bit different - you'll see the 4 controller buttons underneath your HP bar, as well as the opponent's. Further, there will also be the words "Attacker" (in red) and "Defender" (in blue) above the buttons, depending on who initiated the Grapple. For this QTE, you must press any of the 4 buttons when you see the buttons on the screen *flash*. As soon as you see the flash, press one of those buttons, and you should win the QTE if you're fast enough. 5) "Tug of War" QTE: This one I only saw a couple of times, but it is a bit different so I thought I should mention it. In this QTE you'll see a large bar in the middle of the screen, and the goal is simply to mash all 4 buttons to increase your gauge. It doesn't need to "fill" to win - you simply need to have more than your opponent. 6) Cage Match QTE: You'll see this QTE in the very first WrestleMania match, along with a couple of others. To initiate, either you or an opponent needs to try to attempt to escape the cage in a Cage Match, using either the wall or the door. In the QTE, whether you are escaping or preventing an escape, you simply have to mash all 4 buttons to fill your gauge. 7) Ladder Match QTE: In a Ladder Match, your goal is to grab whatever belt by setting up the ladder given to you, and climbing it. To do this, pick up the ladder using the same thing to pick up anything else (Circle, Circle). When you have it, you should see a glowing circle in the middle of the ring. Put down the ladder by (Hold Circle) and you'll initiate this QTE. The QTE is simple enough; press (Up) to climb the ladder. It is highly recommend that not only your opponent is on the ground, but you pick up the ladder, and set it up in the middle of the ring, as soon as your opponent is on the ground. If you take too much time, your opponent will get up and knock you off the ladder. 8) Royal Rumble QTE: During the "Ring Out" QTE, you'll see a "Ring Out" bar, as well as the 4 controller buttons replace each character's HP bar (those that are involved). The "Ring Out" bar represents how much time the character has until he gets thrown out; whether you are pushing someone out or resisting getting thrown out, you just have to mash the 4 controller buttons. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Opponent on the Ropes and in the Corners (RPC3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ One constant problem I found myself having was attacking my opponent and he would ultimately be led into the corner or onto the ropes, which changes the QTE event (see the QTE section above) when you Grapple. I found this to be annoying, because on the ropes, even if you successfully complete the "Attacker/Defender" QTE, you get tossed outside the ring, which I found to be completely unhelpful. Similarly, in the corners of the ring, you get somewhat of the same experience. Again, if you initiate a Grapple in a corner, you get an "Attacker/Defender" QTE as well, but you have to do two in a row, which can be a little disorienting, and the AI, even on the easiest settings, is pretty good at winning the second one. To counter both of these issues, don't use Grapple when an opponent is in a corner or on the ropes (unless you want to obviously). Instead, either continue to hit them with Strikes until they fall to the ground, or use a Strong Grapple. If they are on the ropes, another option is to use an Irish Whip (Back, away from opponent + X), which will initiate a short Chain Struggle. If they are in the corner, you can Irish Whip them into the other corner (Back, away from opponent + *HOLD* X). This is helpful for some objectives requiring you to Irish Whip your opponent into all 4 corners. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pins vs. Submissions (PVS3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Just a brief section detailing a little more about the differences between the ways you can win the match. Pins are simple enough to understand. Press (Circle) to initiate a Pin at any time, but realize you'll probably never win against the AI unless you Pin when their HP is at zero. Even at zero, the AI is perfectly capable of kicking-out to continue the fight (some HP is regained on a kick-out). Generally speaking, the second Pin does the trick, but they do kick-out of the second every once and a while. It's very rare to see the AI kick-out of a third pin. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT: There were many times where I used Pin accidentally, or a Pin was set-up automatically after a QTE (which happens in WrestleMania Tour for objectives). The game doesn't tell you that you can *interrupt* your own Pin by pressing one of the 4 controller buttons. Well, I know it works with (X), although I assume it works with the others. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Submissions are a little different. Although there are different Submissions depending on what character you play, the "general" one is when you do a Grapple when the opponent is on the ground, while you're near your opponent's legs. The QTE that plays out is simply a "button mash" QTE; you'll know you're doing a Submission if your HP bar is replaced with the 4 controller buttons. Submission moves do not actually do anything but a minimal amount of HP damage if your opponent's HP is not at zero. In other words, it works like the Pin - you're never going to win the match with a Submission while your opponent still has HP. However, the important thing to note with Submissions is that *it's an automatic win if your opponent's HP IS at zero*. So in fact, you don't have to worry about kick-outs, if you're trying to end the match quickly. There are 2 drawbacks to Submissions however. First, you have to be REALLY careful while doing objectives; you don't want to accidently do a Submission while you still need to complete objectives. Second, there's some randomness to it; sometimes, your character won't initiate the Submission, but do damage like a regular Grapple attack, forcing you to initiate the attack again. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT: Just like Pins, there are times where a Submission move might play out when yo u don't want it to. If this ever happens, and you want the match to continue, DO NOT press any buttons when the "button mash" QTE presents itself. This *should* make your character "let go" and thereby your opponent won't give up. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will point out I have no experience with anything beyond "Normal" difficulty, and this information has the potential to change if set to a higher difficulty. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Basic Strategy (STR3) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The basic strategy I used for just about all fights is: Reversal, (Hold Square), X Reversals aren't necessary for the entire game, but do help when you notice that the AI is continually doing Reversals on you. Reversals always put the opponent in a groggy state, but I usually follow it up with a Strong Strike, because it's added damage. Pressing X while they are groggy after the Strike will initiate a Chain Struggle to increase your Chain Level. After the Chain Struggle, he'll be on the ground, so you can choose to either Grapple or Strike from there. Once he's back up, just repeat the process again until you have a level 3 Chain. Use your Finisher at that point, and you'll probably have your opponent's HP down to around 1/4. 1 or 2 more Chain Struggles and chances are your opponent will be ready to pin or submit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having trouble doing Reversals? Some opponents I had a tough time with (I cannot counter Ted DiBiase for the life of me), and a lot of the time it seemed to work if I focused on just trying to land a Strong Strike or a series of Light Strikes so I could get my opponent in the groggy state. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although this is a way to win matches, it can also be used to complete objectives if you're needing extra time. Just as long as you never pin or use a Submission, the fight can (presumably) last forever, also assuming the AI never pins you. To counter this, building up your Chain Level to constantly use the healing Taunt can help you extend the match so you can complete the objectives. =============================================================================== Trophy List (TRL4) =============================================================================== I will list the trophies in the order that they appear on the PS3. The order that the trophies are listed in is just my suggestion, and you don't necessarily need to follow it if you don't want to. The only thing that is locked, assuming you're starting up the game for the very first time, is the Favorite Legends Tier. If at any point you want to jump around to do other things, by all means. Don't feel like you're restricted to what I suggest. If you want to do Legend Killer for a bit, then go to WrestleMania, then go back to Legend Killer, it makes very little difference. To sum up, here is a summary of what you'll have to do to earn the platinum, regardless of how you approach it: *Clear all tiers in Legend Killer Mode (except the DLC tier) *Clear all WrestleMania modes (this means clearing Relive, Rewrite, and Redefine) *Earn the rest of the miscellaneous combat trophies +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Getting Started (GTS5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Okay first thing's first, let's turn everything down to its easiest setting: Go into "Options" at the main menu, then select "Gameplay Settings". Next, go into "In Game Options". Turn down the difficulty to "Easy", then back out to choose "Customize Game Settings". Here, in the "Frequency of Com's Usage" tab, you'll want to turn down Strike Reversals and Grapple Reversals all the way down. I'm a little unsure about what "Chain Skill Level" is, but I left it alone. Press R1 or L1 to view the other tab if you wish. I couldn't really tell what "Game Balance" referred to here, so I didn't change anything. Although my guess is that "Chain Input Window" and "Chain Level Rate" turned up might be beneficial. You can try to experiment if you want to. Now, don't feel bad about playing it on Easy here. The AI is decently obnoxious, even on the default settings. I actually earned all trophies but the Royal Rumble one on the default settings, and I sincerely regret it. On default, the AI does a decent amount of Reversals, and if you keep it there you'll be seeing a lot of them. It's up to you though how you want to play, but the rest of the guide is going to assume you turned down the difficulty. Side Note: If you want things to go a little faster, go into the "Match Rules" section of Options and turn off "Entrance". This just turns off the entrance animation for both characters at the beginning of the match. And as a side note to that, there is actually an option to turn these off using (Up/Down) before starting a match. If you turn them off constantly, the game will ask you if you want to keep them turned off. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Creating a Legend (CRT5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ At the main menu, select "Create Modes" and then select "Create a WWE Legend". You can either choose "New Legend" or "Templates" to start. "New Legend" starts completely from scratch, whereas "Templates" have some things already selected for them (like clothes, hairstyles, faces, etc.). There is actually a surprisingly large amount of options, but do as you wish. Once you've created it, you should earn the "Created a Legend" trophy. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Legend Killer Mode (LGD5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ When you enter the "room" upon first selecting "Legend Killer", you'll be in a room with numerous statues. The statues represent each tier, and you have to do them in sequence; you have to start with the left-most statue (Hulk Hogan) and once that tier is completed, the next one to the right will be unlocked. To detail this more, these are the statues from left to right: 1) Legend Tier 1 (Hulk Hogan statue) - 10 matches total 2) Legend Tier 2 (Bret Hart statue) - 10 matches total 3) Legend Tier 3 (Andre the Giant statue) - 10 maches total 4) Center statue is your Created Legend, select this to allocate Skill Points once you have earned experience with your Created Legend. 5) Favorite Legends Tier (Undertaker statue) - 10 matches total. This tier is a little different, and you have to rank at least 10 characters (your own created character can be one), in order to unlock it. "Ranking" characters simply means playing them - the rank list is determined by how many matches you have played with a given character. In order to unlock this, you can either play Exhibition Mode and play with various characters, or another option is to complete WrestleMania Tour mode, and you should have this unlocked by the time you've completed it. 6) All Star Legends Tier (Stone Cold Steve Austin statue) - 38 matches total. This is unlocked when all the other tiers have been completed. 7) The last statue is for DLC, and is not required to earn the platinum. Thus, it will not be covered because I never played it. When you're ready, choose the first statue on the left to get started on the first tier. The trophies listed below are the ones you should earn upon completion of the first tier. "Super Fast Legend Killer" is probably the only one you may not get, but you should be able to get it as you progress through the other tiers. You can progress as far as you would like, but you'll only be able to complete up to 3 of the tiers for right now. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ New Legend trophy (NEW5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defeat 10 opponents with a Created Legend in a single tier in Legend Killer Mode ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once you complete the first tier in Legend Killer Mode, you should earn this trophy. Interestingly, it seems as though this and the "Legend Killer" trophy (which I will list next), are exactly the same. I suppose it might be possible to win 5 matches, quit the tier, come back and win another 5 (or any other combination that adds up to 10) and potentially earn this trophy. I have not tested this though. For all practical purposes, it doesn't even matter, as I am 99% positive you have to win all 10 matches in one sitting in order to progress into the next tier. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Legend Killer trophy (LGK5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Obtain a medal in Legend Killer Mode ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Again, you should receive this trophy as soon as you complete all 10 matches of that first tier. All of the Legend Killer Mode medals are tied to successfully completing all of the matches in one sitting. There are 5 total tiers, and 5 total medals for Legend Killer Mode. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Super Fast Legend Killer trophy (SFT5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Become a Legend Killer in Legend Killer Mode in 30 minutes or less ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In other words, you have to clear any Legend Killer tier (all 10 matches) in 30 minutes or less. I'm unsure if pausing stops the timer or not. It's actually entirely possible to get this trophy with your Created Legend at minimal stats, if you know what you're doing. I think I may have had 50ish Strike, and 45ish Durability, with all other stats at 40 on my Created Legend when I earned this. I finished the first tier in exactly 29 minutes. However, I did mostly know what I was doing at that point. Do you have to do it on the first tier? Absolutely not, so don't fret. Actually, tiers go SIGNIFICANTLY faster when you upgrade your stats. As I said, I finished the first tier in 29 minutes, but later tiers (with stat upgrades) I managed to finish in about 17 minutes. Don't know where to go to upgrade your stats? It's actually the center statue in Legend Killer Mode; just go select that to upgrade. I'll mention my basic strategy, since that's pretty much what I used for all tiers: 1) Initiate a Chain Struggle (by using Reversals and/or Strikes) 2) Repeat until you have a Chain Level of 3 3) Use your Finisher 4) Repeat until your opponent's HP is at zero 5) Pin or use a Submission move Personally I thought it was faster to win via Submission, as the opponent never kicks-out of them. To perform a Submission, get your opponent on the ground and then Grapple them while you are standing near their legs. You'll either do damage or the Submission move. You'll get to see some of your stats (like how long it took you to clear the tier) once you've completed all the matches, so at least you have a general idea of how you're doing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You're #1 trophy (NUM5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have your Created Legend reach the Top rank in Hall of Fame Mode ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you've been following this guide and are playing from scratch, you may have earned this on the win of your very first match. The "Top rank" it is referring to is simply the list of most characters used throughout the course of the game. If the very first match you played was with your Created Legend, well, it'll be the only character on that list, hence it'll be at the top rank, and you'll earn this trophy. However, if you haven't been following this guide, this could be the most time-consuming trophy, depending on where you are. If say, you've been playing nothing but Exhibition Mode with the Undertaker, and he's at 804 matches, you have a very long way to go to play 805 matches with your Created Legend. So it just kind of depends. Even if you do Legend Killer Mode last, chances are you'll get this trophy regardless with regular progression. To clear Legend Killer Mode you have to play 78 matches total with your Created Legend, and the only way to even come close to that number is by doing a lot of matches in Exhibition Mode. =============================================================================== WrestleMania Tour Mode (WMT5) =============================================================================== At this point hopefully you have a decent grasp of the game, which will help with the objectives in this mode. You don't have to finish Legend Killer Mode, or even start it, to begin here if you don't want to. Again, I merely suggested Legend Killer Mode first for you to get some practice without having to worry about these objectives. WrestleMania Mode is the "middle" option, where you see the scene playing. Once selected, you'll see four options: "Relive", "Rewrite", "Redefine", and "Movie Theater". Fundamentally Relive, Rewrite, and Redefine are exactly the same: They're matches with preset characters to play as, and they all have objectives you'll need to complete to earn the trophies associated with this mode. Rewrite and Redefine have objectives that are more based on generic gameplay, such as "perform a Reversal", "use a Taunt", etc. Whereas Relive has increasingly specific objectives, most of which only occur during that particular match you're playing. So if you're just starting, an option is to start with Rewrite or Redefine first, but if you want to do it sequentially, or get the harder ones out of the way first, start with Relive. I am listing Relive first just so the guide coincides with how it looks in game. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Relive (REL5) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MOST of the objectives in Relive can be obtained in any order. HOWEVER there are a few that can only happen when you finish another objective (like "Cool Down" in the Stone Cold vs. The Rock match). There are others where some objectives end the match immediately (like the "Unbelievable!" objective during the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy (HKK5) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You must earn 50 points of the total 90 in a single match to earn the medal. Objectives: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Trading Rights (10 points): Win the "Knuckle Chain Battle" at the start of the match. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right at the beginning of the match, there'll be a QTE that involves a single button press. Just be prepared for it and press the right button when it comes up, and you'll earn an easy 10 points. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) Busted Wide Open (20 points): Irish Whip Bundy into the cage wall. To perform an Irish Whip toward the ropes, use (Back, away from the opponent) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just do exactly what the description says. If you're having trouble grabbing
him to do this, try to get him into the groggy state, so either try to do a
Reversal, hit him with a Hard Strike, or do multiple Light Strikes first.

You Iron Whip here because instead of going directly into the ropes, because
you're in a cage, your opponent will go straight into the cage. This always
makes them bleed, no matter which opponent you are facing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Keep Bundy Caged (10 points): Get up while Bundy attempts to escape through
the cage door.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To get him to try to escape, you must be on the ground, so you have to allow
him to knock you down by having him hit you multiple times, or having him use a
Grapple on you.

Afterwards, more than likely Bundy will try to escape through the door in the
corner (unless you are on the ground right in front of it). This will bring up
a QTE game, where you simply have to mash all 4 buttons. You can mash just 1 if
you want to, but hitting all 4 makes your gauge go up faster.

I believe how big the bar is is dependent on how much HP you have left, but I'm
not entirely sure.

If you're successful, you'll earn this objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Stop Bundy Again (10 points): Prevent Bundy's escape through the door 2
times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly the same as "Keep Bundy Caged", you just have to do it a second time.
Again, you have to be on the ground for Bundy to try to escape.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Full Power Leg Drop (20 points): When Hogan's chain level is 3, execute a
finisher (Square) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remember that your chain level is below your HP bar. You can use the general
strategy of (Reversal, Hard Strike, Grapple) to initiate a Chain Struggle.
This should fill your bar decently quickly.

Reality is though, fill it however way you wish, but if you're looking to boost
your Chain Level quickly, Chain Struggles are the way to go.

Once at 3, use (Square) + (X) to initiate your finisher, which is another QTE
event, exactly the same as a Chain Struggle. It is possible for the AI to use a
Reversal on it, which will also drop your Chain Level by 1/2. I never saw the
AI do it much, but if you want to be safe, get your opponent in the groggy
state first.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) The Great Escape (20 points): Win the match by climbing the cage and
escaping.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The opposite idea behind "Keep Bundy Caged". Here, you want to have Bundy on
the ground, but instead of escaping through the door (like Bundy does), you
have to climb the cage wall. So, with Bundy on the ground, approach the cage
wall, and press the Analog Stick towards the wall and (Circle) to start the
QTE.

This will initiate the same QTE as you saw with "Keep Bundy Caged", so all you
need to do is mash all 4 buttons. You have to be kind of quick though, and I
think it helps if Bundy's HP is at zero.

Even if you accidently initiated this by the cage door and escaped, it's not a
big deal as long as you have done the other objectives. Again, in this match,
only 50 points are necessary to earn the medal.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trophy opportunity:

This is a really easy match to earn the trophy "Memory Serves Me Well" since
all you have to do is 3 basic things:

1) Succeed in the QTE at the start
2) Irish Whip Bundy into the ropes (or use Hogan's finisher)
3) Escape the cage by climbing the cage wall

Alternatively you could also succeed in the QTE at the start, Irish Whip Bundy,
then use Hogan's finisher, then escape however you want to.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant                                           (HAG5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You must earn 60 points of the 100 total in a single match to earn the medal.

Easier objectives to complete:

1) Unstoppable Force (20 points)
2) Knock The Big Man Down (20 points)
5) Unbelievable! (20 points)

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Unstoppable Force (20 points): Win the "Counter Chain Battle" at the start
of the match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another where a QTE starts at the very start of the match. Win the QTE, and you
have this objective completed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Knock The Big Man Down (20 points): Irish Whip Andre into the ropes and win
the chain. To perform an Irish Whip, press (Back, away from opponent) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, just need to do exactly what the description says and Irish Whip your
opponent. If you're having troubles grabbing him, try to get him into the
groggy state first.

Unlike the last match, using the Irish Whip into the ropes will intiate a Chain
Struggle. Win the QTE, and you have this objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Daze The Giant (20 points): Grapple Andre (X) when he is groggy in the
corner.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one you may want to skip.

To initiate this, first you have to Irish Whip Andre into the *corner*, not the
ropes. To do this, it's the same as a regular Irish Whip, but you *hold* (X)
instead of just pressing (X).

As soon as Andre hits the corner, he should be groggy. Just walk up to him and
press (X) at that point. An "Attacker/Defender" QTE will start, so you want to
wait until you see the *flash* on the buttons, and then immediately press one
of those 4 buttons.

If done correctly, you'll see Hogan slam Andre's head into the turnbuckle
multiple times, and after you'll get this objective.

This one may be kind of annoying to do, depending on how comfortable you are
setting it up and doing the QTE.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Hogan Escapes! (20 points): Win the chain that occurs during Andre's Bear
Hug. The Bear Hug is performed when Andre attempts a strong grapple.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another one you might want to skip, just due to the slight randomness of it.

You basically just have to sit and wait until Andre uses a Strong Grapple,
which will look like him spreading out his arms. Let it connect, win the QTE
that starts, and you have this objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Unbelievable! (20 points): Grapple (X) when Hogan's at chain level 3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Using Grapple at level 3 (successfully completing this objective) will
end the match.

The easiest way to get chain level 3 in this match is actually to do "Knock The
Big Man Down" by Irish Whipping Andre into the ropes. If successful, you'll
automatically get boosted to chain level 3.

At that point, you need to Grapple Andre when he is NOT groggy. This will NOT
work if Andre is groggy, as you will initiate a regular Chain Struggle if he
is. If he's Grappled while standing normally, you will initiate this unique
"finisher" for this match.

If successful, you will automatically win the match and earn this objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trophy opportunity:

Another opportunity to get another trophy. This is a decent match to get
"Grapplemania" on, as you only have to do a few things to win the match:

1) Win the QTE at the beginning of the match
2) Irish Whip Andre into the ropes (do NOT use Strikes while trying to do
this), and win the QTE
3) Grapple Andre while he is standing normally, and not in the groggy state

Andre uses Reversals when you're trying to Grapple him for the finisher, but
just be patient and keep trying. Just remember you cannot use Strikes at all to
earn this trophy.

If you didn't earn "Memory Serves Me Well" in the last match with Hogan vs.
Bundy, following these 3 objectives without hitting pause will you earn that as
well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan                                          (WHH5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You must earn 100 points of the total 130 in a single match to earn the medal.

Suggested objectives:

1) Ultimate Challenge (completing Look Out! is an option as well) (20 points)
2) Off The Turnbuckle Again (10 points)
3) Adrenaline (20 points)
4) Drop the Hulkster (10 points)
5) Strength of the Warrior (10 points)
8) Body Splash!!! (10 points)
9) And New WWE Champion... (20 points)

Make sure you try to do 8) Body Splash!!! last, as a successful completion of
Warrior's finisher will automatically initiate a Pin. You can interrupt the Pin
yourself by pressing (X), but doing it last means you don't have to worry about
that.

As you will see by looking at the objectives, it starts to get a little more
complicated to complete some of them. With that in mind, starting with this
match, it gets more appealing to simply get the minimum points necessary to
earn medal and move on to the next match.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Ultimate Challenge (20 points): Win the "Test of Strength" chain sequence
that launches at the start of the match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a bit of a unique QTE that starts right at the beginning of the match.
It's kind of "tug of war" style, where you have to mash all 4 buttons to
"overpower" the AI's gauge.

It is probably one of the more difficult QTEs to successfully complete, but you
do have to finish either this one or "Look Out!" (which is the same QTE, but
occurs differently), to earn the medal.

So you have a choice: You can either try for this one to win it, since it
happens at the start of the match and it's easy enough to reset, or you can try
for "Look Out!" later in the match, if you didn't complete this one.

How I did this QTE: First, you have to be ready for the QTE before it starts. I
used my left hand's forefinger and middle finger to mash the (X) and (Square)
buttons, while I had my right hand's thumb over both (Triangle) and (Circle)
buttons. I've also used my right hand's forefinger and middle finger for
(Triangle) and (Circle) on various attempts. Once the QTE started, I just tried
to mash all 4 buttons at the same time as best, and as quick, as I could.

As stated before, this probably is the hardest QTE in the game to win in.
Although in my multiple completions of this match, it does seem like sometimes
it's hard to win, and other times it's easier.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Off The Turnbuckle Again (0/2) (10 points): Succeed at 2 turnbuckle attacks
(Square when up on the turnbuckles). To climb a turnbuckle, while inside the
ring and near the ring post, (Back, toward corner) + (Circle) (Circle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another objective where following the objective description will mostly
complete it.

I will point out a couple of things:

1) The most succesful way to pull these off is when your opponent is on the
ground. How long your opponent will stay on the ground is based on their HP. So
to get the largest window for this, deplete Hogan's Hp to zero and then climb a
turnbuckle, and then press (Square) to attack.

2) Although having the opponent on the ground helps, it is not mandatory. It is
entirely possible to connect with an attack while they're standing up, it's
simply more difficult.

Although depleting Hogan's HP zero is optimal for this objective, it's not
necessary. As long as he's on the ground, if you're quick, you can climb a
turnbuckle while he's getting up, and quickly attack before the AI reacts. It
may not work all the time though.

It's up to you how you want to approach this, but remember you need to make 2
attacks from the turnbuckle.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Adrenaline (20 points): Perform a taunt (Circle) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simple enough. To make the most out of the Taunt, I would say just wait until
you have at least Chain Level 2 and use the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) +
(Triangle). Again, Chain Struggles are the fastest way to raise your Chain
Level.

If you want to do this in the most efficient way possible, you should build up
your Chain Level to 3 first, use a Strong Grapple (for "Strength of the
Warrior), then use Taunt, then use another Strong Grapple when Hogan is back on
his feet (for Drop The Hulkster).

Then, this way you only need to build your Chain Level up one level to do your
Finisher.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Drop The Hulkster (10 points): Successfully perform a Level 2 or higher
strong grapple (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another objective where the in-game description details exactly what you need
to do.

I guess all there is to really say is a "Level 2 strong grapple" is just a
Strong Grapple when your Chain Level is at 2.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Strength Of the Warrior (10 points): Successfully perform a Level 3 strong
grapple (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The exact same as "Drop The Hulkster" only you need to perform the Strong
Grapple attack when your Chain Level is at level 3. You want to ensure you do
this before using your Finisher, as that will completely deplete your Chain
Level.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Stop The Red And Yellow (10 points): Reverse Hogan's finisher by winning in
a chain.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reality is you should just skip this objective. If you're wondering, if you
couldn't finish either "Ultimate Challenge" or "Look Out!" you're not going to
get the medal, even if you do this objective and all of the others.

If you are interested, you need to win the QTE event (I believe both button
presses) when Hogan uses his finisher. He will only attempt this when his Chain
Level is at 3, so if you want to try for this you'll need to let him beat on
you a bit.

Using the healing Taunt will help you ensure he won't get any easy pins, so use
that if needed. The opponent's HP is almost always irrelevant unless you want
to win, so by all means, continue to up your Chain Level for Taunts if you
want/need to. Just make sure you don't Pin or use a Submission move.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Look Out! (20 points): Win the "Quickly Return Battle", that starts when you
Irish Whip Hogan towards the ropes in a Level 2 or higher chain. To perform an
Irish Whip, (Back, away from the opponent) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you missed out on "Ultimate Challenge" this is the other option to still
earn the medal. Unfortunately, it's the same QTE event as "Ultimate Challenge"
so you really have to be on your button mashing here.

Again, do exactly as the description says: Irish Whip into the ropes when
you're at least Chain Level 2, and the QTE will start shortly after.

How I completed this QTE was with both hands, putting the controller down on my
legs or my lap. I used my left hand's forefinger and middle finger for (Square)
and (X), while I used my right hand's forefinger and middle finger (or thumb)
for (Triangle) and (Circle). I then just tried to tap as fast and accurately as
I could. Try to hit them all at the same time, and not all at different times.

Like the "Ultimate Challenge" QTE, it does seem like there are times winning
the event is difficult, and other times where it's not too bad.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Body Splash!!! (10 points): Execute a finisher (Square) + (X) when Warrior
is at Chain Level 3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT: Successfully using your finisher will have Warrior Pin Hogan at the
end of the QTE, which may lead you to lose out on the medal if you haven't
finished the other objectives. Be aware that it is possible to *stop your own
Pin* by pressing the (X) button, although I assume the other 3 controller
buttons also work.

Description says it accurately enough, so just follow that.

I will point out that the AI can, and does, do Reversals on Finishers on
occasion. If they are successful, your Chain Level will drop by 1/2, which
means you'll have to build it back up to 3.

The safest way to do it is make sure they're in the groggy state first, but
it's up to you, as the AI doesn't always do Reversals.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) And The New WWE Champion...(20 points): Win the match, regardless of how you
finish.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Easy enough, just win the match, any way you want. You need to do that anyway
to get credit for all the other objectives.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter                                            (HSS5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You need to earn 105 points out of the total 135 in a single match to earn the
medal.

Suggested objectives:

1) The Power of the Hulkster (20 points)
2) Taking It To Slaughter (20 points)
4) Shot After Shot (10 points)
5) Drop The Traitor (10 points)
6) New Set Of Rules (10 points) or 3) A New Hogan (5 points)
8) Leg Drop!!! (20 points)
11) For The USA (20 points)

As these matches continue, you'll get to see that some of the objectives start
to require correct positioning for you and your opponent. For this match
"New Set Of Rules" can be a bit awkward to set up, and that's why I gave the
option of doing "A New Hogan" instead if you want to. "A New Hogan" however, is
also kind of annoying to do, and relies a bit on luck.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) The Power Of The Hulkster (20 points): Win the "Lockup Chain Battle" at the
start of the match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another one of the QTEs that happen at the very start of the match. Just
win the QTE and you have some easy points.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Taking It To Slaughter (20 points): Any time during the match, inflict
damage on Slaughter 5 times in a row.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This should be doable, and unlike "A New Hogan" you can do this any time. My
*assumption* is that Grapples and Chain Struggles can count towards this, but
I'm not 100% on that.

When I've done these objectives, I've always just used Strikes (mostly Light
Strikes) to fulfill the hits. Keep in mind you can still hit your opponent with
a Strike when they're on the ground, up to 3 times (and then they automatically
stand up).

So a potential option, if you can't seem to land these normally, is get
Slaughter down to zero hp. Then try to hit him as much as you can to get him on
the ground, then when he's down, you'll more than likely get 3 hits in because
it takes him so long to get up.

Being fairly aggressive right as they stand up usually nets at least one hit as
well.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) A New Hogan (5 points): Right after the match starts, inflict damage on
Slaughter 5 times in a row without taking any damage yourself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would recommend skipping this one. It's not worth much and sometimes you can
get a little unlucky with it.

This is exactly the same as "Taking It To Slaughter" but the single restriction
is that it has to be done right after the match starts. If Slaughter gets a hit
in before your first 5 hits, you won't get this objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Shot After Shot (10 points): To start the chain grapple, press (X) when
Slaughter is groggy in any corner.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To start, Irish Whip Slaughter into a corner (Back, away from opponent) +
(Hold X). Once there, he's automatically groggy, so just walk up to him and
press (X) to start the QTE.

This is a little disorienting to do, as the QTE comes up really quick when you
Grapple in a corner. You also may not have seen one of these
"Attacker/Defender" QTEs until this point.

To win this QTE, you just need to watch the 4 buttons that appear below your HP
bar. As soon as they *flash* you want to hit one of those buttons. It can be a
little annoying to do as the flash happens decently quickly, but just try to
get used to it, as it's important to get it right for later matches.

Unlike some other Grapples that you perform when you're in a corner, there
isn't a second QTE associated with this, it's just this one. So if you got it,
happily you don't have to do another.

If you miss it, just get Slaughter set-up again to reattempt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Drop The Traitor (10 points): Irish Whip Slaughter toward the ropes and then
win the chain sequence. To perform an Irish Whip, (Back, away from the
opponent) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, just do what the description says. Unlike the last match with Ultimate
Warrior, once you use an Irish Whip, it's a regular QTE to win.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) New Set Of Rules (10 points): Grapple Slaughter outside of the ring when he
is groggy and near the ring apron (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay this one is a little strange, but it's important to know about and how to
do because it's important to get used to fighting outside the ring.

Although the description does say what you need to do, it's still a little
awkward to set-up:

First, get outside of the ring by moving towards the ropes and pressing (Back,
towards ropes) + (Circle).

Second, position yourself along the ring, but away from whichever metal stairs
you are near. If you try to do this near the stairs, you may get different
results. Try to stay around the opposite corner (where there is no stairs), but
again, be along side the ring.

Third, you need to get Slaughter positioned in a way where he is next to the
ring as well, so you have to try to give some room to move next to you (it's
not a big deal if he's next to the stairs).

Fourth, this is where Reversals really help. Try your best to use a Reversal on
Slaughter to get him into the groggy state. You can try to do it via other
means, but I usually find that the AI is a bit more aggressive outside of the
ring for some reason. Either way, just get him groggy.

Once he's groggy, if you're positioned right, you'll see a "Special Move"
message come up in greenish font under your HP bar, that's what you are looking
for. Press (X) to initate it, and hopefully it'll be the right one (which it
should be if you're away from the stairs).

If you were too close to something else, it may have initiated a different one.
If that happened, just try again, positioning yourself (and Slaughter) next to
the ring as much as possible.

Get back into the ring by the same way you exited: (Back, towards the ropes) +
(Circle).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) The Sacrifice (10 points): After achieving "New Set Of Rules" press (X) when
Slaughter is groggy against the ropes to chain grapple.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although you can do this one, you don't have to in order to earn the medal. It
is fairly easy to accompish (in my opinion) and it does set you up for another
5 points, but it's not necessary to complete, as long as you're following the
suggested objectives.

As the description states, this can only be achieved after you have
successfully completed the "New Set Of Rules" objective.

After "New Set of Rules" hop back into the ring using (Back, towards the ropes)
+ (Circle). To do this really quickly, attempt to land a Strike right as
Slaughter gets back into the ring; to get him on the ropes, he has to be hit
with a Strike when he's near the ropes.

When he's leaning on the ropes, he's already groggy, so just press (X) to
intiate the QTE. It's another "Attacker/Defender" QTE, just like in the corner,
so wait for the buttons to flash, then press one of those buttons.

If done correctly, you'll see Slaughter bail right back outside the ring and
grab another chair, successfully hitting Hogan with it. This sets you up for an
easy extra 5 points (which you may not actually need).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Leg Drop!!! (20 points): Execute a finisher (Square) + (X) when Hogan's
Chain Level is at 3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another Finisher objective. Build up your Chain to Level 3 then execute
it. Unlike some of the previous matches, this won't initiate a Pin or a win, so
the match will continue normally when you get this done.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Crimson Leg Drop (5 points): (Square) + (X) when Hogan's Chain Level is at 3
and Hogan is bleeding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn't recommend doing this one, as the points are insignificant. It should
just be regarded as a bonus if Hogan managed to be bleeding at the time you did
"Leg Drop!!"

If you managed to do "The Sacrifice" Hogan will be bleeding, but that's not the
only way it can happen.

Slaughter might be able to get Hogan to bleed by just having him hit you in
various ways, but there's generally a very specific attack that makes the
character bleed. For example, when your opponent is on the ground, some
characters do a stomp animation when a Light Strike is performed near the
opponent's head. By performing this a few times, it can make the opponent
bleed. Some Grapples also can cause the bleed effect.

Regardless, I'm not entirely sure which attack Slaughter has that can make his
opponents bleed, but I'm *pretty* sure he has one, as I kind of recall it
happening to me the first time I got a medal on this match.

Like I said though, it's just an extra 5 points if you manage it, and
personally I wouldn't really try for this otherwise.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10) Hulk Up (5 points): When Hogan is bleeding and at Chain Level 3, kick out
of Slaughter's pin attempt.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would highly recommend not attempting this. Most of the time the AI only
attempts to Pin when you are at zero HP, and at that point it I found it very
difficult to win the QTE to kick out.

It's only 5 measely points anyway, so really, do not bother risking the match
for this.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11) For The USA (20 points): Win the match, regardless of how you finish.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another easy 20 points for winning the match.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold                                                 (BSC5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You must earn 120 points out of the total 140 in a single match to earn the
medal.

Suggested objectives:

1) Hard Rights (20 points)
2) Vintage Hart (20 points)
3) Physical Dissection (20 points)
4) Bone Chilling Pain (20 points)
7) Busted Open (20 points)
8) Domination (20 points)

Objectives:

The matches seem to get more difficult, and I felt Austin's AI was even more
aggressive than Slaughter's. You may need to start using the healing Taunt
(Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle) during matches to keep your HP up while trying
to finish objectives.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Hard Rights (20 points): Win the "Mount Chain Battle" at the start of the
match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yet another QTE at the very start of the match. Like usual, make sure you win
it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Vintage Hart (20 points): (Square) when standing on top of the turnbuckle
with Stone Cold knocked down.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The description is just saying do a turnbuckle attack when Austin is on the
ground.

You can set this up normally, by knocking Austin to the ground first, then
climbing the turnbuckle (Back, towards the corner) + (Circle, Circle), then
hitting (Square) when you're at the top. It's a little tough to knock Austin
down, but try a Hard Strike immediately followed by a Light Strike. If your
first Hard Strike gets him against the ropes, instead do another Hard Strike,
then a Light Strike. If you're having problems connecting that first Hard
Strike, start with a Reversal.

That's how to do it with Strikes if you're interested. You can also have Austin
on the ground by performing Grapples/Chain Struggles on him as well, but not
all animations will put him on the ground, so it's a little more random.

If you're having trouble landing a hit before he gets up, getting Austin's HP
down to zero first will help when he's grounded, because it'll take him longer
to stand back up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Physical Dissection (20 points): Attack Stone Cold's left leg 5 times with
these moves: When your Chain Level is 2 or higher and Stone Cold is groggy on
the ropes, (X) to grapple Stone Cold, then (Triangle). Or, when your Chain
Level is 2 or higher and Stone Cold is grounded, (X) close to his legs.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I personally think this is easier to do with the second way, when Austin is on
the ground.

First make sure your Chain Level is at 2 before starting this. Once there, I'll
make the same suggestion to knock Austin down as I did before:

Use a Hard Strike, then follow with a Light Strike. If you're too close to the
ropes, that first Hard Strike will put Austin on the ropes. If this happens,
use Hard Strike again, then use a Light Strike. If you can't seem to connect
that initial Hard Strike, try using a Reversal first.

Once he's on the ground, get close to his legs and just use a Grapple (X).
An animation should play where Bret slams Austin's leg into the mat, and you'll
get credit for one of the 5 uses.

So yes, you have to do 5 times. It doesn't have to be in a row though. Just
make sure you do not use your Chain Level, and keep repeating the process until
its done.

If you do use your Chain Level, and attempt this at Chain Level 1, you'll do a
different Grapple. One of those Grapples is a submission move, so if Austin's
HP is at zero during that time, he may give up and you could end the match
earlier then what you want.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Bone Chilling Pain (20 points): Grapple (X) when Stone Cold is groggy in a
corner without steps and Bret's Chain Level is at 2 or higher.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Easiest way to set this up is to get Austin groggy (I had an easier time with
Reversals) and Irish Whip him into a corner (Back, away from opponent) +
(Circle).

Once there, move over to the corner and pause the game to see if you can spot
one of the metal stairs below the turnbuckle. If it's there, that means you
have to make a mental note of it and get him into a different corner.

There are *two* metal stairs around the ring, and they are in locations
directly opposite of each other. In other words, if Austin is in one corner
with stairs, and you Irish Whip him into the opposite corner, he'll be in the
other corner with stairs.

Once you get him in the right corner, just use Grapple. Once completed, you'll
be outside the ring. The next two objectives involve being outside the ring,
but if you're just looking for the medal, get back in the ring (Forward,
towards ropes) + (Circle).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Akin To A Bar Fight (10 points): Outside the ring at the corner by the
entrance with the steel steps, grapple Stone Cold (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would recommend skipping this one, as this one (and the next) are only worth
10 points. So if you do one of them, it's ideal to do the other so you can get
the 20 to replace another objective. Due to both of these being awkward to
set up, it's just not really worth it if you ask me.

Anyway, so there's a SPECIFIC spot where you have to do this, and although the
game tells you where it is, when I finally got to the area, I felt the
description didn't do a good job telling you where it actually is.

So get outside the ring, and head to the stairs near the entrance (the entrance
is the only part without a rail). When you get to the stairs, you have to
perform this Grapple when both you and Austin are in corner where THE RAILS
meet. So it's the small area between the steps and that corner with the rails.

When both of you are in that spot, get him groggy, and you should see an
"Objective" prompt under your HP bar. If you get that, that's it, so you want
to Grapple him at that time.

Interestingly, the animation shows Bret getting hurt, although I don't think
you take any real damage.

After the animation, you'll be fighting in the crowd. It'll end automatically
after a while.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Have A Seat (10 points): (Square) when carrying a folding chair and facing
Stone Cold's leg while he's down. To get a folding chair (Forward, toward Stone
Cold while he's groggy) + (X), while standing outside the ring near the apron.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another one I would highly recommend skipping. Due to the awkward controls
outside of the ring, this can be more difficult to do then it sounds.

I will say though, that if you do manage to do this, not only does it net you
another 10 points, it gives you an easy way to earn "Busted Open".

When you're outside of the ring, you and Austin both need to be near the apron.
Get Austin into the groggy state, and make sure you do what the description
says and press FORWARD (towards Austin) + (X). If you don't, you simply won't
grab a chair when you're done with the QTE.

The QTE is another one of those "Attacker/Defender" ones, so prepare yourself
and wait for that flash to appear, then hit one of the buttons.

Also keep in mind that when you (or Austin for that matter) grabs a chair, any
damage done to you automatically drops the chair, and it's available for either
character for the rest of the match. To pick it back up, press (Circle)
(Circle).

For the second part of this objective, you have to get Austin on the ground
(which is fairly easy with a couple of hits from the chair), and then use
Strike again when you are standing near his legs, to hit his legs with the
chair.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Busted Open (20 points): Make Stone Cold bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's another example of how to make the opponent bleed without an object.

When your Chain Level is at 3, press FORWARD (towards Austin) + (HOLD X). This
Strong Grapple, if done correctly, Bret will do a Piledriver move, which has a
good chance of making Austin bleed.

Again, make sure your Chain Level is at 3, otherwise Bret won't do this. Strong
Grapples take a bit longer to connect, so getting Austin into groggy first will
make it easier to connect if you can't seem to manage it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Domination (20 points): Win with the Sharpshooter (X, Square, Triangle,
Circle) by executing your finisher (Square) + (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just another Finisher objective. The only difference here is when you
start this Finisher, you'll get another one of the "Tug of War" QTEs, like in
the match with Ultimate Warrior vs. Hogan.

Again, I would recommend using both hands to mash buttons here. It did seem
easier then in the Ultimate Warrior match, but it could just be sort of that
"randomized difficulty" I felt I was experiencing before.

It also could be affected by Austin's HP, which seems likely, as it obviously
finishes the match. If you don't win it the first time, not a big deal, just
have to use the Finisher again to have another attempt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stone Cold vs. Shawn Michaels                                            (SSM5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You must earn 140 points out of the total 160 in a single match to earn the
medal.

Suggested Objectives:

1) Beaten to the Punch (20 points)
2) Well Documented (20 points)
3) Bird Sighting (10 points)
4) Taking Out the Monitors (20 points)
5) Face First (10 points)
6) DX Damage (20 points)
7) All's Fair (20 points)
10) Enter the Stone Cold Era (20 points)

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Beaten to the Punch (20 points): When the match begins, deal damage to the
opponent before taking damage yourself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just need to land the first hit. If he hits you first, just restart.

Shawn's AI is pretty quick, but you can try for a Reversal too. Sometimes, just
backing up might give you a window - the AI might try to continue to chain
despite continually missing, and give you an opportunity. So you could try that
as well if you want to.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Well Documented (0/3) (20 points): Attack HBK in the back 3 times with one
of these moves: Grapple when HBK is groggy against the turnbuckle (X). Grapple
HBK from behind (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personally I find it easier/faster to get behind HBK and Grapple him from
there. To do this quickly, hit (X,X) in succession; it does seem to work a
little better when the opponent is *not* groggy, but either way works.

Once your behind him, just use Grapple. Remember you have to do this 3
different times to get the objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Bird Sighting (10 points): Taunt with (Circle) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can actually use any Taunt to get credit for the objective. Since that is
the case, I would recommend using (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle) to regain some
HP.

Remember you need to be at Chain Level 2 or higher to do the healing Taunt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Taking Out the Monitors (20 points): Chain grapple HBK while he is groggy
against the ropes (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just need to do what the description says. Shawn will be outside of the ring
after the QTE, so it sets you up to do the next objective.

I will say "groggy against the ropes" is a bit redundant, because whenever
someone is on the ropes, I believe they are always put into the groggy state.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Face First (10 points): Grapple the opponent with (X) near the steps outside
the ring.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remember a lot of these Grapples that occur outside the ring require fairly
specific spots to be in.

For this one, you and Shawn both need to be standing near the one of the stairs
outside of the ring. Get Shawn groggy, and you should see the "Special Move"
prompt come up. If you're at the right spot, Austin should slam Shawn into the
stairs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) DX Damage (20 points): Irish Whip into the ropes when chain level is 2 or
higher (Back, away from opponent) + (X) and win by completing the chain
sequence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite the fact that this one occurs back in the ring, you can't really do 7
until you finish this one. So hop back in and wait for Shawn to follow.

After just do what the description says: Irish Whip Shawn into the ropes at
Chain Level 2, and win the QTE.

Happily, after winning the QTE you'll be put into the area to do the next
objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) All's Fair (20 points): First, grapple your opponent using (X) near the
entrance aisle and move to the entrance. Next, grapple the opponent using (X)
near the drum set at the entrance.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So hopefully you did "DX Damage" to get by the entrance. You can get here
normally by just being outside the ring and heading to the opening along the
perimeter (HHH is standing here if DX Damage has not been completed). You can
enter this entrance area by using Grapple on Shawn when both of you are
standing near the entrance aisle.

Technically, you cannot enter this area until DX Damage has been done, but in
case Shawn manages to drag you back to the ring, I just point it out in case
you want to get back.

Anyway, like I said, after DX Damage has been completed you'll be in this
entrance area. For whatever reason, the AI seems to get really aggressive in
this area. Walk over to the drum set that's on the left-hand side, and you'll
see the "Objective" prompt come up.

You need to Grapple Shawn when both of you are near this drum set. If you
manage to get it, you'll see an animation of Austin getting hurt, but you get
this objective.

To head back, both you and Shawn need to be in the middle, towards the bottom
of the screen (the lane leading to the ring), and you need to Grapple Shawn
(he can do it to you too). If you're in the right spot, you should see "Move to
area" come up under your HP bar.

The problem is it's a little awkward getting Shawn in the right spot. Try to
get it so Shawn is either directly "left" or "right" of you (as opposed to you
standing where you need to be and Shawn is standing "above" you, more towards
the back of the area).

It's quite irritating to be sure, and I had a lot of problems getting back to
the ring the first time I earned the medal. It's EXTREMELY irritating when you
finally manage it, and then when you're back at the ring the AI uses Grapple
right as you return, sending you right back out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Silence the Music (10 points): Reverse HBK's finisher by winning the
Finisher chain sequence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would highly recommend not going for this, as you risk losing the match
attempting it.

HBK's finisher is obviously attempted when he is at Chain Level 3, so the first
problem is you have to get beat on some to have him get his Chain Level up.

Second problem is, since it is his finisher, it does a lot of damage. So if you
mess up the QTE to reverse it, that may put you at risk to lose the match.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Still No Music (10 points): Reverse HBK's finisher twice by winning the
Finisher chain sequence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, I would skip this.

Obviously, it's the same exact set-up (and problem) as Silence the Music.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10) Enter the Stone Cold Era (20 points): Win the match by pinfall (Circle on
downed opponent).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This time you actually have to Pin to get the objective, so just make sure you
do that when you've earned enough points to get the medal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stone Cold vs. The Rock                                                  (STR5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You must complete ALL objectives in a single match to earn the medal.

So, clearly, I have no "Suggested Objectives" for this match, however, doing
them in a particular order may help. Also, I'm not going to bother listing the
points for each objective, as obviously it is irrelevant to earn the medal.

Suggested Order:

1) Slobber Knocker
2) Sign Language
3) Block Bottom
4) Lou Thesz Press!
5) Stunner!
6) Stunner! Stunner!
7) Break'n the Furniture (0/2)
8) Cool Down
9) Head Banging
10) Brawl in the Arena
11) Choke Him Out
12) WrestleMania Up Close
13) The Rattlesnake Rules Again!

As you may have noticed, this is NOT how it is listed in game, but again, just
how I think is the best way to do it. Unlike the advice I have written in the
other matches, I will be going in the order of *my* list that I suggested, and
not the game's listed order.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Slobber Knocker: Win the "Knuckle Chain Battle" at the start of the match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your last "start of the match QTE" to do. At least they start you off easy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Sign Language: Execute a taunt with (Circle) + (Triangle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I want you to get "Block Bottom" first, which means you'll be taking some
damage as you allow The Rock to initiate Chain Struggles (and you need to lose
the QTE when he does), so he can get his Chain Level to 3.

Obviously, you'll be taking some damage while doing this, so this is why the
Taunt objective is listed first. You kind of want to "trade" Chain Struggles
with The Rock: He does one, you do one. Or something of some sort, just make
sure you keep topped off, because you don't want your HP to run too low.

Remember you need to use (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle) to using the healing
Taunt, when your Chain Level is at least 2.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Block Bottom: Reverse the Rock's Level 3 strong grapple (Back, away from
opponent) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think is the most difficult objective to get, and also the riskiest, which is
why I think you should get it before doing all of the numerous "outside the
ring" objectives.

If you get the ones outside the ring first, all you do is risk running down
your HP more and more, and then when it comes to get back into the ring and
attempt this objective, The Rock might end up pinning you.

If he does manage to win as you attempt to do this early, well at least you
don't have to redo that much overall.

As the description states, The Rock needs to be Chain Level 3, so allow him to
win some Chain Struggles to get that high. Once he's at 3, he'll *randomly* use
his Strong Grapple.

You need to do a Reversal on this, which is a little tricky sometimes. You're
looking for the animation where he opens up his arms (kind of looks like a big
bear hug). I would recommend trying to initiate a Reversal as soon as you see
that animation, or just barely after you see it (the window for it is fairly
small).

It can very annoying to pull off, as this Strong Grapple is not the only thing
he will be doing (he will continue to hit you and do regular Grapples).

If he's dropping your HP low, stop trying to do Reversals and build your Chain
Level back up to use some Taunts.

Note: I have seen a few times where I have successfully used a Reversal on his
attack (due to the following animation), but was NOT given credit for the
objective. This doesn't happen all the time, but it is possible, and yes it is
very frustrating. If this does happen to you, you're not the only one, and you
just have to try again.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Lou Thesz Press!: Execute a finisher (Square) + (X) when at Chain Level 3,
or Irish Whip into ropes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The reason why I suggest doing this next is because SOMETIMES while you're
doing a Chain Struggle you may initiate a Submission move (I don't believe you
can control it being initiated or not). If you're not aware of this, and do
this towards the end of the match when The Rock's HP is at zero, he might just
"Give Up" and you'll win the match (and this has happened to me before in this
match).

This automatically forfeits your medal, if only because to get the last
objective, you have to win by pinfall. So if The Rock's HP is at zero, watch
the animations while you do Chain Struggles; if there is ANY indication that
you might do a Submission, intentionally fail the QTE. If you ever do a
Submission (and your HP bar is replaced by the 4 controller buttons), DO NOT
press anything, and The Rock shouldn't give up.

That's just something to be aware of while you build your Chain Level to 3, and
I'll remind you of it in the next objective (for those who didn't read this
section).

You'll actually end up doing a "Lou Thesz Press" if you successfully perform
Austin's Finisher (as the description states).

So just do the next objective "Stunner!", successfully finish the QTE, and
you'll get two objectives at once.

Just need to get your Chain Level up to 3 by doing a few Chain Struggles.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Stunner!: Execute a finisher (Square) + (X) when Stone Cold is at Chain
Level 3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As mentioned in "Lou Thesz Press!", if The Rock's HP is at zero, BE CAREFUL
about what Chain Struggles are playing out as you build your Chain Level. If it
looks like you're going to do a Submission move, intentionally fail the QTE,
otherwise The Rock WILL "Give Up".

Otherwise, just do as the description states. You have probably done these
numerous times by now, so you should know the drill.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Stunner! Stunner!: Execute Stone Cold's finisher two times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just repeat the process by getting your Chain Level to 3 once more, and do your
Finisher again.

You still have to be careful about Submission moves.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Break'n the Furniture (0/2): Grapple the opponent with (X) near the Spanish
Announcers Table (the one without stairs in front of it). Repeat this action
until the Spanish Announce Table is broken.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You might want to pause the game after completing this one, as the next
objective needs to be done immediately afterward.

Hop out of the ring and head to the side where the two tables are. As the
description states, you and The Rock need to be near the table that doesn't
have stairs in front of it (it's also empty, the other one is where JR and The
King are).

Once you are in the right spot, you should see the "Objectives" prompt come up.
You just need to Grapple The Rock while you're both near this empty table.
You'll see an animation, and get 1 credit towards this objective.

Repeat this by Grappling The Rock near the table again, and you'll get this
objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Immediately after executing "Break'n the Furniture", grab the water bottle
from the remaining announce table (Circle, Circle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This needs to be done RIGHT AFTER "Break'n the Furniture" to be able to do it,
while The Rock is still on the ground, after breaking the table.

Happily the game does give you some time to do this though. Right after you
break the table, just walk over to the other table and you should see the
"Grab" (Circle, Circle) prompt come up on the screen.

Use (Circle, Circle) to grab the water bottle, and you'll get credit for this
objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Head Banging: Grapple the opponent with (X) near the steps outside the ring.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once done with "Cool Down" walk over to the stairs that are in front of the
other announce table.

The Rock will follow you there, and when he is next to the stairs as well,
get him into the groggy state (which will give you a "Special Move" prompt) and
use another Grapple.

Austin should do an animation showing The Rock being Irish Whipped into the
stairs, and you should get credit for this objective.

Note: I'm *pretty* sure this isn't the only animation that grants this
objective. I think I've seen an animation where Austin slams The Rock's head
into the stairs, which should also grant it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10) Brawl in the Arena: Grapple the opponent using (X) by either of the two
barricade corners on the side of the entrance.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's a VERY specific spot where you need to do this, and it is at
barricaded/railing corner; the corners nearest the entrance opening.

Once done with "Head Banging" start to move towards the entrance, but stop when
you get to the rounded corner (the barricade/railing, keeping the fans out).
You need to get The Rock AGAINST this barricade to initiate the prompt.

Just as long as The Rock is between you and this barricade (again, it has to be
near the corner) you should see the "Objective" prompt come up. Get The Rock
into the groggy state, and use Grapple. You should toss The Rock over the
barricade, and get this objective.

You'll get tossed into the area with the crowd, and stay there for a while.
The game will automatically get you back to the area outside the ring after
some time has passed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11) Choke Him Out: First, move to the entrance area (X when The Rock is groggy
near the entrance aisle). Next, (X) when The Rock is near the cables.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's so annoying to get the entrance area.

So do as the description states, and be next to the entrance aisle (the opening
outside of the ring), then attempt to Grapple The Rock while he's groggy.
Again, it's really annoying to get him positioned correctly, since he has to be
kind of to the "left" or "right" of you, standing near the opening as well. It
is possible for him to grab *you* instead, and do this for you however.

Once you get to the area though, your next step is to walk by either of the
sets of lights on the right or left. When you do, you'll see the "Objective"
prompt come up again. Have The Rock get close to the light as well (the
positioning for this one is a little more forgiving), get him groggy, then
Grapple.

You should do an animation of Austin choking The Rock with a cable.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12) WrestleMania Up Close: First, move to the entrance area (X when The Rock is
groggy near the entrance aisle). Then, (X) when The Rock is near the
WrestleMania sign.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should be doing this at the same time of "Choke Him Out" so you don't have
to get to the entrance area twice.

So hopefully you've already completed "Choke Him Out" and are already in the
right area. If you are, now you want to head over to the WrestleMania sign that
it's in the very middle of the lane, in the back (it's the thing with the 4
beams that meet to form a point).

Once you're there, get the Rock nearby as well, and once more you should see
the "Objectives" prompt come up. Get The Rock groggy, and then use Grapple. You
should see The Rock get thrown into the sign, just like in the opening
cinematic.

Once you're done, it's time to finally get back in the ring. So to do that, you
need to do the same thing as you entered. Head down towards the bottom of the
screen, in the middle, where the middle lane is and wait for The Rock. You
should see a "Move to area" prompt when you're in the right spot.

When both you and The Rock are near this area, Grapple The Rock to get back to
the area outside of the ring. The Rock can initiate this as well.

Head back into the ring and let's finish the match.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13) The Rattlesnake Rules Again!: Win the match by pinfall (Circle on downed
opponent).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in the ring, all you need to do is pull off a Pin, and you're done with
this.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As stated in sections above, the objectives for just about all matches in
Rewrite are much more generalized in comparison to Relive. However, it does
progress to more difficult things as you unlock more matches; it starts off
giving you objectives as "Use a Taunt" and "Use a Finisher", but progresses to
things like "Irish Whip into each corner".

Junkyard Dog vs. Greg Valentine (JGV5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You need to earn 80 points out of the 100 total in a single match to earn the
medal.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just do as the description says. If you're having trouble connecting, try to
get the opponent in the groggy state, or use it after a string of Light
Strikes.
Using a Reversal (which is the next objective anyway) automatically puts the
opponent in a groggy state. Reversals are done by (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack. (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, just do as the description says.
The only thing to point out is that is specifically asking for a Reversal on a
*grapple*. You can't really force your opponent to do one, so just Reversal
everything he throws at you until you get the objective.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The majority of the Taunts consume a single level of your Chain Level, so I
would suggest raising it up to Chain Level 2 first.
Remember the best way to raise your Chain Level is to do a Chain Struggle.
Grapple (X) while your opponent is groggy. A QTE will ensue, and each correct
button press raises your Chain Level a decent amount.
I generally use the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle), as I think
it's the most useful.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just follow the description.
Once you raise your Chain Level to 3, you'll see the prompt come up under your
HP bar to perform a Finisher. It is entirely possible that the AI will do a
Reversal when you initiate it, which will drop your Chain Level by 1/2.
If you feel like playing it more safe, get your opponent groggy or use it after
multiple Light Strikes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't get more straight-forward than this. You have to win the match anyway
to get credit for the rest of the objectives.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You need to earn 80 points out of the 100 total in a single match to earn the

Interestingly, it's the same exact objective list as the last match. So you
know what? I'm being lazy and doing some copy/paste.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just do as the description says. If you're having trouble connecting, try to

*grapple*. You can't really force your opponent to do one, so just Reversal
everything he throws at you until you get the objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have to win the match anyway to get credit for the rest of the objectives.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brutus Beefcake vs. Honky Tonk Man                                       (BHT5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You need to earn 120 points out of the total 180 in a single match to earn the
medal.

There's another "Finisher" objective here, which I would recommend trying to do
last, as successful completion of Brutus's Finisher is a Submission, and Honky
Tonk may "Give Up", ending the match.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First Strike (20 points): When the match begins, damage your opponent before
taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just need to land the first hit of the match.

If you miss it, no worries, you can do one of the other objectives. You could
go for the Reversal objective, since you probably have been practicing with
those.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 5 Attacks (20 points): Any time during the match, deal damage to your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn't really recommend going for this, just because it might be a little
more difficult to pull off, and you certainly don't need to do all of the
objectives if you don't want to.

You can if you want to though, as there are more matches to come with this same
exact objective, so it would be good to get some practice.

I assume Grapples count towards this, but I'm not 100% sure. I always did this
using Strikes. If you can hit your opponent multiple times with various attacks
such as a couple of Light Strikes and a Heavy Strike, it's possible to get 2-3
hits in and have your opponent on the ground. At that point, you can continue
to use Light Strikes while he's downed, getting in 1-3 free hits, depending on
how long it takes for him to get back up.

You generally have a decent window as the opponent stands up as well, but the
AI can be a bit aggressive at times.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple. (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, just follow the description. If you're having problems pulling one off,
try to get the opponent groggy first.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Top Turnbuckle Attack (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To climb the turnbuckle, approach a corner of the ring and press (Back, towards
the corner) + (Circle, Circle). Once your character has climbed up, press
(Square) to perform an attack.

The success of these attacks (and getting them set up) is generally better when
the opponent is on the ground, so you may want to do that first. It's not a
requirement though, it just makes it a bit easier.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another Reversal objective.

Again, remember it is specifically asking you to Reverse a Grapple attack, but
in practice you just want to do Reversals on everything until you get credit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would recommend not doing this one, because it takes a little while to
accomplish.

I tried numerous ways to get Honky Tonk to bleed here, but I only managed to
get it one way:

First, get your Chain Level up to 3, then do a specific Grapple:

(Forward, towards opponent) + (HOLD X).

You should see Brutus knee Honky Tonk in the head, but it may not make him
bleed right away.

I had to perform 3 of these before Honky Tonk started to bleed. It is a Strong
Grapple to initiate this, so you may need to get him groggy to connect with it.

Note: DO NOT go grab a chair (regardless if you know how to or not) to
accomplish this objective because you will be disqualified if you use it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can perform any Taunt you wish to get credit for this. I generally do the
healing Taunt (Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle).

Your Chain Level needs to be at least 2 in order to perform the majority of the
Taunts.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Try to do this one last, if Honky Tonk's HP is at zero.

Again, best way to raise the Chain Level is through Chain Struggles, so do a
few of those to raise your Chain Level to 3 and you should be ready to use your
Finisher.

If Honky Tonk's HP is at zero, and you successfully finish the Finisher QTE,
you may end up winning the match via Submission.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just some more easy points for winning the match, which is mandatory to clear
the match.

Rick Rude vs. Ultimate Warrior (RUW5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You need to earn 120 points out of the 180 total in a single match to earn the
medal.
Hey look! It's another one with the exact same objectives as the last match. So
again more copy/paste will be involved, although I will tweak some of the
comments for a few of the objectives.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First Strike (20 points): When the match begins, damage your opponent before
taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just need to land the first hit of the match.
If you miss it, no worries, you can do one of the other objectives. You could
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
how long it takes for him to get back up.
You generally have a decent window as the opponent stands up as well, but the
AI can be a bit aggressive at times.
On the other hand, you may just end up getting it without knowing, as it can be
done at any point in the match.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple. (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, just follow the description. If you're having problems pulling one off,
try to get the opponent groggy first.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Top Turnbuckle Attack (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just another Reversal objective.
Again, remember it is specifically asking you to Reverse a Grapple attack, but
in practice you just want to do Reversals on everything until you get credit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would recommend not doing this one, because Warrior only has one specific
move to make his opponent bleed, and it's a bit odd to pull off.
So how I did it:
I had Warrior at Chain Level 3, and I proceeded to rapidly hit (X) when Rude
was NOT groggy. I was initially attempting to simply get behind Rude by using
(X,X) but I could never pull it off. Instead, this ended up doing one of two
different Grapples:
Warrior would punch Rude in the stomach, or
Warrior would slam Rude's face down on the mat.
You're looking for the second one. It took me about 3 or 4 uses of that
particular Grapple animation to get Rude to bleed.
Again, I really really recommend skipping this one, as the other objectives are
easier to manage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can perform any Taunt you wish to get credit for this. I generally do the
healing Taunt (Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle).
Your Chain Level needs to be at least 2 in order to perform the majority of the
Taunts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just do as the description says.
Unlike the last match with Honky Tonk, feel free to use Warrior's Finisher at
any time.
He WILL pin Rude at the end if you're successful with the QTE, but you can stop
the pin by pressing (X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just some more easy points for winning the match, which is mandatory to clear
the match.
Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna                                                   (BHY5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You need to earn 160 out of the total 180 points in a single match to earn the
medal.

Unfortunately you can only skip one objective, and I would choose between:

1) Start with 5 Attacks
4) 4 Corner Slams
8) 2 Finishers

Out of these 3, "Start with 5 Attacks" is based a little on luck. "4 Corner
Slams" takes a bit of set-up to achieve, and "2 Finishers" takes a while as
well, and you have to be pretty quick on the QTE.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Start With 5 Attacks (20 points): When the match begins, damage your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you can't get this, just ignore it. I would recommend trying for the other
objectives, as I don't feel they are too hard to achieve (just takes a while).

You have to be the one to deal damage 5 times in a row before Bret hits you.

Bret can block things (and you can miss) all he wants, but if he Reverses a
hit, it'll lock you out. Also, obviously if he hits you normally it'll lock you
out of this.

Yokozuna hits surprisingly fast, so this is doable, but again it's primarily
based in some luck with Bret getting a Reversal in.

Transitions (putting the opponent on the ropes, or putting them on the ground,
or them standing back up) generally net you one or two free hits.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 3 Strong Grapples (0/3) (20 points): Execute a strong grapple 3 times
(Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just do as the objective says, you should be comfortable with these by now.

Remember you have to do 3 of them to get the objective. I would recommend
getting your Chain Level to 2 and doing a Strong Grapple from there, that way
you can make progress to making Bret bleed, which is another objective.

The Strong Grapple animation that happens at level 2 should be a headbutt, and
it's one of two ways to get Bret to bleed.

The "bleed" Grapple does NOT occur at Chain Level 3, only at 2. So if you
managed to get it too high, use a Taunt, and you can get credit for that
objective while you're at it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) 2 Top Turnbuckle Attacks (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle 2 times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another turnbuckle attack objective. Remember you have to be near a corner and
use (Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle) to climb it, and then press
(Square) to attack.

It helps when the opponent is on the ground. Although it does simply say
"execute" you actually do have to connect with the attack to get credit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) 4 Corner Slams (20 points): Slam opponent into each of the 4 corners with an
Irish Whip. (Back, away from opponent) + (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall this isn't too bad to earn once you understand it.

You want to have Yokozuna's back towards a corner, use a Reversal on Bret, then
just do the Irish Whip into the corner (Back, away from opponent) + (X).

Mr. Fuji at this point might trip Bret, which isn't actually very helpful here
to get the rest. If he doesn't, you can actually immediately do another Irish
Whip into the *other* corner, since Bret should be groggy as soon as he hits
the corner.

If you can't get it in time, again you're already positioned correctly, so you
just need to do a Reversal and repeat the process.

Once you're done with the first two, just repeat to get the other two.

Mr. Fuji is kind of the problem, because if he trips Bret sometimes your
positioning can get thrown off. You can still set it back up the same way
though, it's just a bit annoying.

And yes, you do have to do each corner, and unfortunately the game doesn't keep
track of them for you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) 3 Reversals (20 points): Reverse 3 grapple attacks. (Back, away from
opponent) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another Reversal objective.

If you're not practiced with Reversals by now, you do need to be (and you
should get more practice here), as Bret can be VERY aggressive and hard to
groggy with Strikes alone.

You need to boost your Chain Level multiple times during this match, so getting
the Reversal => Chan Struggle method is pretty key.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yokozuna has 2 different attacks that can make opponents bleed, but I'll
mention the recommended one first:

Get Yokozuna's Chain Level to 2, and then use a Strong Grapple (Hold X). This
should do a headbutt animation. Bret should start bleeding after 3 or 4 uses of
this Grapple. This ONLY occurs at Chain Level 2, it will not at 3.

Doing it this way also may give you credit for your Strong Grapples, if you
haven't finished it yet.

The second way (not recommended):

Yokozuna can do a "chop" to the head by pressing (Forward, towards opponent) +
(X) while the opponent is NOT groggy, and I believe it can ONLY be done at
Chain Level 1. The "non-groggy" requirements here makes it difficult, because
Bret loves to use Reversals. Due to that, you'll be taking damage, and you'll
constantly be in the groggy state yourself, which may lead you to being pinned
at some point.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) 3 Taunts (0/3) (20 points): Perform a taunt 3 times. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simple enough, just need to boost up your Chain Level a lot.

Again, you really need to understand how to do Reversals at this point to build
your Chain Level.

I would recommend using the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle),
especially here, since the fight can be drawn out for a long time trying to get
all the objectives done.

I saw Yokozuna do Submission Chain Struggles a fair amount. If you ever see one
(where your HP bar gets replaced with the 4 controller buttons), DO NOT press
anything. If Bret is at 0 hp, he'll give up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) 2 Finishers (0/2) (20 points): Execute a finisher 2 times. (Chain Level 3
[Square]+[X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like the Taunt objective, all it really requires is you to know how to build
your Chain Level.

I will point out that Yokozuna's Finisher QTE is a bit more difficult to
succeed in (if you're not paying much attention) - the second button press
comes up VERY fast.

Again, while you do Chain Struggles, watch out for Submission moves where your
HP bar gets replaced with the 4 controller buttons. If Bret's HP is at zero, DO
NOT press anything, and he shouldn't quit the match.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Win the match however way you want to.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart                                             (SBH5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You need to earn 160 out of the 180 total points in a single match to earn the
medal.

As you can see, the trend continues with a repeat of objectives of the last
match.

Since it's the same, I would recommend skipping one of these three objectives,
depending on if you can manage to finish the first one or not:

1) Start with 5 Attacks
4) 4 Corner Slams
8) 2 Finishers

Out of these 3, "Start with 5 Attacks" is based a little on luck. "4 Corner
Slams" takes a bit of set-up to achieve, and "2 Finishers" takes a while as
well, and you have to be pretty quick on the QTE.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Start With 5 Attacks (20 points): When the match begins, damage your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you can't get this, just ignore it. I would recommend trying for the other
objectives, as I don't feel they are too hard to achieve (just takes a while).

You have to be the one to deal damage 5 times in a row before Shawn hits you.

Shawn can block things (and you can miss) all he wants, but if he Reverses a
hit, it'll lock you out. Also, obviously if he hits you normally it'll lock you
out of this.

Transitions (putting the opponent on the ropes, or putting them on the ground,
or them standing back up) generally net you one or two free hits.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 3 Strong Grapples (0/3) (20 points): Execute a strong grapple 3 times
(Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just do as the objective says, you should be comfortable with these by now.

Remember you have to do 3 of them to get the objective. I would recommend
getting your Chain Level to 3 and doing a specific Strong Grapple:

(Forward, towards opponent) + (Hold X)

This should get Bret to do a Piledriver move, which can cause Shawn to bleed,
allowing you to earn that objective. I usually had Shawn bleed after 3 of these
Piledriver moves, so you should just earn two objectives at once if you only do
these.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) 2 Top Turnbuckle Attacks (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle 2 times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another turnbuckle attack objective. Remember you have to be near a corner and
use (Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle) to climb it, and then press
(Square) to attack.

It helps when the opponent is on the ground. Although it does simply say
"execute" you actually do have to connect with the attack to get credit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) 4 Corner Slams (20 points): Slam opponent into each of the 4 corners with an
Irish Whip. (Back, away from opponent) + (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall this isn't too bad to earn once you understand it.

You want to have Bret's back towards a corner, use a Reversal on Shawn, then
just do the Irish Whip into the corner (Back, away from opponent) + (X).

Immediately after Shawn hits the corner, use another Irish Whip into the
*other* corner, since Shawn should be groggy as soon as he hits the corner.

If you can't get it in time, again you're already positioned correctly, so you
just need to do a Reversal and repeat the process.

Once you're done with the first two, just repeat to get the other two.

You do have to do each corner, and unfortunately the game doesn't keep track of
them for you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) 3 Reversals (20 points): Reverse 3 grapple attacks. (Back, away from
opponent) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another Reversal objective.

I actually found Shawn to be very easy to do Reversals on. His Strikes are
pretty quick though, but after the last match with Bret, you should be fairly
used to Reversals.

You need to boost your Chain Level multiple times during this match, so getting
the Reversal => Chan Struggle method is pretty key.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only way I know of that Bret can make his opponent bleed is his Piledriver
move, which is performed at Chain Level 3:

(Forward, towards opponent) + (Hold X)

It is a Strong Grapple, so it's most efficient to just pair it up with the "3
Strong Grapples" objective, so you can get two objectives at once.

Shawn may not bleed on the first use of this Grapple, as it took me about 3.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) 3 Taunts (0/3) (20 points): Perform a taunt 3 times.

Here, unlike other matches, Submissions are actually good for you. So don't
worry about potentially interrupting them. More on this on the "Win the match"
objective.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) 2 Finishers (0/2) (20 points): Execute a finisher 2 times. (Chain Level 3
[Square]+[X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like the Taunt objective, all it really requires is you to know how to build
your Chain Level.

Try your best to actually get these 2 while Shawn's HP is at zero. Since it is
an Iron Man match, any time your opponent "Gives Up" or gets pinned will net
you 1 point. Thus, the match will not end here if Shawn gives up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order to win the match here, you have to earn more points than Shawn in the
10 minute time limit you have.

This isn't actually too bad, once you understand the way to get points: You
earn 1 point whenever the opponent "Gives Up" or is pinned and doesn't
kick-out.

The opponent will always "Give Up" if you use a Submission move while their HP
is at zero. Since Bret's Finisher is a Submission move, an option is to just
continually build it up, reduce Shawn's HP to zero, and use it.

You can also earn points by regular pinfalls, so if you want to do that too,
that's also an option.

To prevent Shawn from earning points, just make sure you keep your HP up.
Making sure you're on Reversals and using healing Taunts (primarily for the
objective), should ensure Shawn never nets any.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The difference between this WrestleMania mode and the others, is that you
actually get to choose who you get to play as for each match.

I always just played these matches with the default character (whoever's
portrait was selected for me), and my *assumption* is going to be you're going
to do the same for each match. I will remind you of the character I was using
for each match, just so it's clear.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Andre the Giant vs. Big John Studd                                       (AJS5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was Big John Studd for this match. I will say Andre has different animations
for his Strikes, so he is a little hard to use Reversals on. If you want to use
Andre, you can, as the objectives won't really change to achieve.

You need to earn 80 points out of the 100 total in a single match to earn the
medal.

You will see the exact same pattern and exact same objectives as you did in
"Rewrite". So again, pardon my copy/paste, but it certainly makes it easier for
me.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just do as the description says. If you're having trouble connecting, try to
get the opponent in the groggy state, or use it after a string of Light
Strikes.

Using a Reversal (which is the next objective anyway) automatically puts the
opponent in a groggy state. Reversals are done by (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack. (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, just do as the description says.

The only thing to point out is that is specifically asking for a Reversal on a
*grapple*. You can't really force your opponent to do one, so just Reversal
everything he throws at you until you get the objective.

As stated before, if you're playing as Big John, Andre's Strikes can be
difficult to use Reversals on. All you're looking for is a single Grapple
Reversal though, so if you've managed that, you may have an easier time getting
Andre groggy by Strikes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The majority of the Taunts consume a single level of your Chain Level, so I
would suggest raising it up to Chain Level 2 first.

Remember the best way to raise your Chain Level is to do a Chain Struggle.
Grapple (X) while your opponent is groggy. A QTE will ensue, and each correct
button press raises your Chain Level a decent amount.

I generally use the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle), as I think
it's the most useful.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just follow the description.

Once you raise your Chain Level to 3, you'll see the prompt come up under your
HP bar to perform a Finisher. It is entirely possible that the AI will do a
Reversal when you initiate it, which will drop your Chain Level by 1/2.

If you feel like playing it more safe, get your opponent groggy or use it after
multiple Light Strikes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doesn't get more straight-forward than this. You have to win the match anyway
to get credit for the rest of the objectives.

Rick Rude vs. Jimmy Snuka (RJS5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I played as Rick Rude in this match. Again, it's the same objective list as
last match, so if you want to play as Snuka, it's not going to change how you
achieve the objectives.
You need to earn 80 points out of the 100 total in a single match to earn the
medal.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just do as the description says. If you're having trouble connecting, try to
get the opponent in the groggy state, or use it after a string of Light
Strikes.
Using a Reversal (which is the next objective anyway) automatically puts the
opponent in a groggy state. Reversals are done by (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack. (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, just do as the description says.
The only thing to point out is that is specifically asking for a Reversal on a
*grapple*. You can't really force your opponent to do one, so just Reversal
everything he throws at you until you get the objective.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The majority of the Taunts consume a single level of your Chain Level, so I
would suggest raising it up to Chain Level 2 first.
Remember the best way to raise your Chain Level is to do a Chain Struggle.
Grapple (X) while your opponent is groggy. A QTE will ensue, and each correct
button press raises your Chain Level a decent amount.
I generally use the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle), as I think
it's the most useful.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just follow the description.
Once you raise your Chain Level to 3, you'll see the prompt come up under your
HP bar to perform a Finisher. It is entirely possible that the AI will do a
Reversal when you initiate it, which will drop your Chain Level by 1/2.
If you feel like playing it more safe, get your opponent groggy or use it after
multiple Light Strikes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a Steel Cage match, so you have to win by escaping the cage.
Once your opponent is on the ground, you can either approach the wall or the
door of the cage (the door is in the corner, it flashes), and then press (Back,
towards wall/door) + (Circle).
You should initiate a QTE where you see two bars. All you need to do is mash
all 4 controller buttons at the same time to raise your bar (it's yellow)
before your opponent raises his.
I believe how fast your opponent raises his bar is based on HP, so you may want
to reduce your opponent's HP to zero before attempting this.
Remember, you can only escape when your opponent is on the ground.
Big Bossman vs. Mr. Perfect                                              (BMP5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was Big Bossman for this match. For this match, it does *somewhat* matter
about who you choose. Making the opponent bleed is different for each character,
so that is something to keep in mind.

However, it's not even remotely required to even do that objective, regardless
of who you choose, because you get a lot of flexibility with how many points
you need to earn.

You need to earn 120 points out of the total 180 in a single match to earn the
medal.

IMPORTANT:

This is a Ladder Match, and it's decently possible that your opponent may
attempt to climb the ladder at some point to try to win. If this happens,
you'll get a new QTE, where you want to *mash* all 4 buttons at the same time
to fill the bar (you have to be pretty fast too). Although it looks like just a
regular "stand up" QTE, the bar doesn't seem to fill by simply holding down one
button.

Objectives:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First Strike (20 points): When the match begins, damage your opponent before
taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just need to land the first hit of the match.

If you miss it, no worries, you can do one of the other objectives. You could
go for the Reversal objective, since you probably have been practicing with
those.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 5 Attacks (20 points): Any time during the match, deal damage to your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn't really recommend going for this, just because it might be a little
more difficult to pull off, and you certainly don't need to do all of the
objectives if you don't want to.

You can if you want to though, as there are more matches to come with this same
exact objective, so it would be good to get some practice.

I assume Grapples count towards this, but I'm not 100% sure. I always did this
using Strikes. If you can hit your opponent multiple times with various attacks
such as a couple of Light Strikes and a Heavy Strike, it's possible to get 2-3
hits in and have your opponent on the ground. At that point, you can continue
to use Light Strikes while he's downed, getting in 1-3 free hits, depending on
how long it takes for him to get back up.

You generally have a decent window as the opponent stands up as well, but the
AI can be a bit aggressive at times.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple. (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, just follow the description. If you're having problems pulling one off,
try to get the opponent groggy first.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Top Turnbuckle Attack (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To climb the turnbuckle, approach a corner of the ring and press (Back, towards
the corner) + (Circle, Circle). Once your character has climbed up, press
(Square) to perform an attack.

The success of these attacks (and getting them set up) is generally better when
the opponent is on the ground, so you may want to do that first. It's not a
requirement though, it just makes it a bit easier.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just another Reversal objective.

Again, remember it is specifically asking you to Reverse a Grapple attack, but
in practice you just want to do Reversals on everything until you get credit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Bossman, I would really really really really really really really....really
recommend not doing this. If you're playing as Mr. Perfect, maybe he has an
easier time, but either way, I would skip this objective.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to make an opponent bleed with him. I
did manage it once, as I countered Mr. Perfect's QTE when he tried to Irish
Whip me into the ropes, but that's been it.

Bossman has a lot of various Grapples that target the opponent's head, but for
whatever reason I was never able to make Mr. Perfect bleed with them.

If you're curious, odd as it is, using the ladder here also doesn't seem to
help.

I also was not able to exit the ring to try to grab a chair for some reason. I
guess they bar you from that during a Ladder Match.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can perform any Taunt you wish to get credit for this. I generally do the
healing Taunt (Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle).

Your Chain Level needs to be at least 2 in order to perform the majority of the
Taunts.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Build up your Chain Level to 3, then do a Finisher.

Here, you can't win by any other means except using the ladder, so don't worry
about Submissions or anything like that.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a Ladder match, and you may not have seen one up until this point.

To win the match, first you need to grab the ladder. Once you do, approach the
glowing circle on the mat in the middle of the ring, and you should get a
prompt saying "Hold Circle to Climb", so do that.

You'll initiate the QTE, where you need to "climb" by pressing the Analog Stick
(Up).

This should ONLY be attempted while your opponent is on the ground, and you
have to be FAST. Although this initiates a new QTE for you, it does *not* for
your opponent - he continues to fill his bar to "stand up".

In other words, if you start climbing when your opponent has his bar nearly
filled to stand up, you will not have enough time. It takes a longer time than
you might think to climb the ladder, so you have to start this QTE almost as
soon as the opponent is on the ground.

As usual, the amount of HP your opponent has left affects how long it takes for
him to get up.

Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper (BRP5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I played as Bret Hart for this match.
You need to earn 120 out of the 180 total points in a single match to earn the
medal.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First Strike (20 points): When the match begins, damage your opponent before
taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just need to land the first hit of the match.
If you miss it, no worries, you can do one of the other objectives. You could
go for the Reversal objective, since you probably have been practicing with
those.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 5 Attacks (20 points): Any time during the match, deal damage to your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't really recommend going for this, just because it might be a little
more difficult to pull off, and you certainly don't need to do all of the
objectives if you don't want to.
You can if you want to though, as there are more matches to come with this same
exact objective, so it would be good to get some practice.
I assume Grapples count towards this, but I'm not 100% sure. I always did this
using Strikes. If you can hit your opponent multiple times with various attacks
such as a couple of Light Strikes and a Heavy Strike, it's possible to get 2-3
hits in and have your opponent on the ground. At that point, you can continue
to use Light Strikes while he's downed, getting in 1-3 free hits, depending on
how long it takes for him to get back up.
You generally have a decent window as the opponent stands up as well, but the
AI can be a bit aggressive at times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Strong Grapple (20 points): Execute a strong grapple. (Hold X)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, just follow the description. If you're having problems pulling one off,
try to get the opponent groggy first.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) Top Turnbuckle Attack (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To climb the turnbuckle, approach a corner of the ring and press (Back, towards
the corner) + (Circle, Circle). Once your character has climbed up, press
(Square) to perform an attack.
The success of these attacks (and getting them set up) is generally better when
the opponent is on the ground, so you may want to do that first. It's not a
requirement though, it just makes it a bit easier.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Reversal (20 points): Reverse a grapple attack (Back, away from opponent) +
(Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just another Reversal objective.
Again, remember it is specifically asking you to Reverse a Grapple attack, but
in practice you just want to do Reversals on everything until you get credit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're playing as Bret, you may have already done this a few times in other
matches.
Get Bret's Chain Level to 3, then perform the following Strong Grapple:
(Forward, towards opponent) + (Hold X)
Bret should do a Piledriver, which will eventually make Piper bleed. I had to
do the Piledriver 3 times before he started bleeding.
As Piper, honestly I'm not sure what moves he has to make his opponent bleed.
You can experiment if you wish, or just skip the objective entirely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) Taunt (20 points): Perform a taunt. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can perform any Taunt you wish to get credit for this. I generally do the
healing Taunt (Down) + (Triangle) + (Circle).
Your Chain Level needs to be at least 2 in order to perform the majority of the
Taunts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) Finisher (20 points): Execute a finisher. (Chain Level 3 [Square] + [X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Build up your Chain Level to 3, then do a Finisher.
This is a regular match, so be careful of those Submission moves if your
opponent's HP is at zero while you build up your Chain Level.
If you're playing as Bret, make sure you do this after "Busted Open" and
remember Bret's Finisher is the Sharpshooter, so you may want to wait for this
one to be the very last objective you do.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match however you wish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yokozuna vs. Bret Hart                                                   (YBH5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I chose Yokozuna for this match. You may have experience with both of these
characters at this point, and they both kind of have pros and cons; Yokozuna
can take a bit more damage, but if you choose him Bret's AI can be a bit
aggressive. Obviously if you choose Bret you won't have to deal with the AI
as much, but Bret takes more damage.
You need to earn 160 out of the 180 total points in a single match to earn the
medal.
This objective list is just like the last 2 matches in Rewrite. The one I would
recommend skipping is:
1) Start with 5 Attacks
But if you manage to accomplish that the ones I find a little more difficult
are:
4) 4 Corner Slams
8) 2 Finishers
So choose one of those to skip if you manage to get the "Start with 5 Attacks".
In reality, this turns out to be identical to the match in Rewrite with
Yokozuna and Bret Hart, since it is the same objective list.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Start With 5 Attacks (20 points): When the match begins, damage your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you can't get this, just ignore it. I would recommend trying for the other
objectives, as I don't feel they are too hard to achieve (just takes a while).
You have to be the one to deal damage 5 times in a row before your opponent
hits you.
You opponent can block things (and you can miss) all he wants, but if he
Reverses a hit, it'll lock you out. Also, obviously if he hits you normally
it'll lock you out of this.
Transitions (putting the opponent on the ropes, or putting them on the ground,
or them standing back up) generally net you one or two free hits.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 3 Strong Grapples (0/3) (20 points): Execute a strong grapple 3 times
(Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For Yokozuna:
I would recommend getting your Chain Level to 2 and doing a Strong Grapple from
there, that way you can make progress to making Bret bleed, which is another
objective.
The Strong Grapple animation that happens at level 2 should be a headbutt, and
it's one of two ways to get Bret to bleed.
The "bleed" Grapple does NOT occur at Chain Level 3, only at 2. So if you
managed to get it too high, use a Taunt, and you can get credit for that
objective while you're at it.
For Bret:
Get your Chain Level up to 3 first, then do his Piledriver Strong Grapple.
(Forward, towards opponent) + (Hold X)
That way you can work on making Yokozuna bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) 2 Top Turnbuckle Attacks (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle 2 times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another turnbuckle attack objective. Remember you have to be near a corner and
use (Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle) to climb it, and then press
(Square) to attack.
It helps when the opponent is on the ground. Although it does simply say
"execute" you actually do have to connect with the attack to get credit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) 4 Corner Slams (20 points): Slam opponent into each of the 4 corners with an
Irish Whip. (Back, away from opponent) + (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall this isn't too bad to earn once you understand it.
You want to have your character's back towards a corner, use a Reversal, then
just do the Irish Whip into the corner (Back, away from opponent) + (X).
You can immediately do another Irish Whip into the *other* corner, since your
opponent should be groggy as soon as he hits the corner.
If you can't get it in time, again you're already positioned correctly, so you
just need to do a Reversal and repeat the process.
Once you're done with the first two, just repeat to get the other two.
You do have to do each corner, and unfortunately the game doesn't keep track of
them for you.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) 3 Reversals (20 points): Reverse 3 grapple attacks. (Back, away from
opponent) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Reversal objective.
This will certainly get you some practice with Reversals if you don't have them
down quite yet. Playing as Yokozuna, Bret's AI can be a little more difficult
to do Reversals on. Playing as Bret, I didn't find Yokozuna to be as bad, but
results may vary for you.
You need to boost your Chain Level multiple times during this match, so getting
the Reversal => Chan Struggle method is pretty key.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, a very very very easy way to make your opponent bleed, regardless of
who you are facing, is just Irish Whip them into the ropes by:
(Back, away from opponent) + (X)
They should land face-first into the cage, which should make them bleed.
However, if you want to do it the "normal" way and get the "3 Strong Grapples"
objective out of the way while you're at it, you can do it this way:
As Yokozuna:
Yokozuna has 2 different attacks that can make opponents bleed, but I'll
mention the recommended one first:
Get Yokozuna's Chain Level to 2, and then use a Strong Grapple (Hold X). This
should do a headbutt animation. Bret should start bleeding after 3 or 4 uses of
this Grapple. This ONLY occurs at Chain Level 2, it will not at 3.
Doing it this way also may give you credit for your Strong Grapples, if you
haven't finished it yet.
The second way (not recommended):
Yokozuna can do a "chop" to the head by pressing (Forward, towards opponent) +
(X) while the opponent is NOT groggy, and I believe it can ONLY be done at
Chain Level 1. The "non-groggy" requirements here makes it difficult, because
Bret loves to use Reversals. Due to that, you'll be taking damage, and you'll
constantly be in the groggy state yourself, which may lead you to being pinned
at some point.
As Bret:
You should know this from the last match (unless you skipped that objective).
Get Bret's Chain Level up to 3, then use his Piledriver Strong Grapple:
(Forward, towards opponent) + (Hold X)
The Piledriver won't make him bleed on the first try, it usually takes 3 uses
of this Strong Grapple. You can at least work on the "3 Strong Grapples"
objective while you're at it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) 3 Taunts (0/3) (20 points): Perform a taunt 3 times. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simple enough, just need to boost up your Chain Level a lot.
Again, you really need to understand how to do Reversals at this point to build
your Chain Level.
I would recommend using the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle),
especially here, since the fight can be drawn out for a long time trying to get
all the objectives done.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) 2 Finishers (0/2) (20 points): Execute a finisher 2 times. (Chain Level 3
[Square]+[X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like the Taunt objective, all it really requires is you to know how to build
your Chain Level.
For Yokozuna:
I will point out that Yokozuna's Finisher QTE is a bit more difficult to
succeed in (if you're not paying much attention) - the second button press
comes up VERY fast.
For Bret:
Although the Sharpshooter is a Submission move, you don't have to worry about
it here, as the only way to win the match is to escape the cage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match by escaping the cage (Back, towards wall or door) + (Circle). Win
the QTE that follows.
Remember your opponent needs to be on the ground before you can attempt this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Undertaker vs. King Kong Bundy (UKK5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I played as the Undertaker in this match (who else?!?). This is the one time I
didn't use the default character. To select Undertaker, just press (Up) or
(Down) and then do the same when choosing Bundy for the AI.
IMPORTANT: This is probably the only really important one where you choose
Undertaker. I have ZERO experience playing as Bundy, and since one of the
objectives is to make your opponent bleed, I have no idea what works for him.
You need to earn 160 out of the total 180 points in a single match to earn this
medal.
It is the same objective list as the last match. So, same advice, skip:
1) Start with 5 Attacks
Or, if you manage to accomplish that objective, skip either:
4) 4 Corner Slams or
8) 2 Finishers
Or, skip whatever else you may want, it's up to you.
Objectives:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Start With 5 Attacks (20 points): When the match begins, damage your
opponent 5 times in a row without taking damage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you can't get this, just ignore it. I would recommend trying for the other
objectives, as I don't feel they are too hard to achieve (just takes a while).
You have to be the one to deal damage 5 times in a row before your opponent
hits you.
You opponent can block things (and you can miss) all he wants, but if he
Reverses a hit, it'll lock you out. Also, obviously if he hits you normally
it'll lock you out of this.
Transitions (putting the opponent on the ropes, or putting them on the ground,
or them standing back up) generally net you one or two free hits.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) 3 Strong Grapples (0/3) (20 points): Execute a strong grapple 3 times
(Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just do as the objective says, you should be comfortable with these by now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) 2 Top Turnbuckle Attacks (20 points): Execute a diving attack from the top
turnbuckle 2 times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another turnbuckle attack objective. Remember you have to be near a corner and
use (Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle) to climb it, and then press
(Square) to attack.
It helps when the opponent is on the ground. Although it does simply say
"execute" you actually do have to connect with the attack to get credit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) 4 Corner Slams (20 points): Slam opponent into each of the 4 corners with an
Irish Whip. (Back, away from opponent) + (Hold X).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall this isn't too bad to earn once you understand it.
You want to have Undertaker's back to a corner, get the opponent groggy, then
use (Back, away from the opponent) + (Hold X) to Irish Whip him into the
corner.
Once he's there (assuming Paul hasn't hit him) you can immediately Irish Whip
him into the other corner. If Paul hits him, you may just need to do another
Reversal.
Either way, when you've got it, position yourself to Irish Whip him into one of
the other two corners to repeat the process.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5) 3 Reversals (20 points): Reverse 3 grapple attacks. (Back, away from
opponent) + (Triangle).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Reversal objective.
This is another match where you'll need to boost your Chain Level a lot, so you
probably will have to do a lot of these anyway.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) Busted Open (20 points): Make your opponent bleed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Undertaker's Finisher actually does make opponents bleed, since it's just a
modified version of a Piledriver.
I was able to make Bundy bleed in 2 uses of Undertaker's Finisher, which is
obviously another objective. It's difficult to tell if it would require more
than this, as I think I may have struck Bundy's head a few times during other
attacks. I can't imagine it would take more than 3 uses of the Finisher.
I have zero experience playing as Bundy, so I have no idea what moves he has to
make the opponent bleed.
Make sure you INTERRUPT your own pinfall by pressing (X), as Undertaker
initiates one upon a successful completion of his Finisher.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7) 3 Taunts (0/3) (20 points): Perform a taunt 3 times. (Triangle) + (Circle)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simple enough, just need to boost up your Chain Level a lot.
Again, you really need to understand how to do Reversals at this point to build
your Chain Level.
I would recommend using the healing Taunt (Down) + (Circle) + (Triangle),
especially here, since the fight can be drawn out for a long time trying to get
all the objectives done.
Watch for Submissions here, as your opponent can "Give Up". If you ever see one,
just make sure not to press any buttons, and you should be okay.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8) 2 Finishers (0/2) (20 points): Execute a finisher 2 times. (Chain Level 3
[Square]+[X])
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like the Taunt objective, all it really requires is you to know how to build
your Chain Level.
The first button press for Undertaker's Finisher QTE comes up pretty fast, so
be ready for it.
Undertaker will always initiate a pin after a successful completion of his
Finisher, so make sure you press (X) to interrupt it (otherwise you obviously
won't be able to do it twice).
Again, watch for Submissions when you are building your Chain Level.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Win the match (20 points): Defeat your opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Win the match however way you want to.
Legend Killer Mode Part 2                                                (LKT5)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Head back into the Legend Killer area, and you should have a new tier to
complete.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Favorite Legends Tier                                                    (FLT5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hopefully, you have finished up all of WrestleMania Tour mode, and have played
your Created Legend at least once, thereby unlocking this tier.
If not, just hop into Exhibition Mode and play as some characters you've never
used before.
Remember, it unlocks when at least 10 different characters have been played; it
is possible to check who is on the list by going into "Game Modes" then
selecting "Hall of Fame" and selecting the plaque looking thing sitting by
itself in the middle of that room.
Head into the Legend Killer area to access this tier. It is the Undertaker
statue, the fifth from the left, which is right next to your Created Legend
statue.
It consists of 10 matches, and I did not feel it was any different than any of
the other tiers in terms of difficulty.
Once cleared, you should earn the "King of Kings (Hidden)" trophy. You should
have cleared all of the other tiers, which means the "All Star Legend" tier
should also be unlocked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All Star Legends Tier                                                    (ASL5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the last tier of Legend Killer mode, and consists of 38 total matches.
Other than that, it shouldn't be any different than all the other tiers you've
done, it is just a lot longer.
Happily though, the same rule applies here as it does with all the other tiers:
If you lose the match, you can just choose "Rematch" to try again from the
match you lost. So luckily, you don't have to start all over if you lose
(unless you choose to quit).
I didn't have maximum stats with my Legend at the time (although my stats were
pretty high) and it took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete this tier.
Once completed, you should earn the "True Legend Killer" trophy.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Exhibition Mode                                                          (EXM5)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is where the rest of the trophies will be earned. If you haven't earned
some of the "in match" trophies, feel free to do them here as well.
The Royal Rumble trophy is only done in Exhibition Mode as well, and I would
say it's a little more difficult to earn than most of the other trophies.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Royal Rumble                                                             (RYL5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once you've selected "Exhibition" from the Main Menu, select "Royal Rumble" at
the very bottom of the list.
Next, select "30-Man Royal Rumble".
The next menu looks a little odd, but just select the default setting, where
your controller is in the upper-left.
I used the Undertaker to finish the Royal Rumble and earn the trophy, and I
would recommend using him. Technically, you can use whoever you wish, but just
realize that some characters can get pushed out of the ring (losing the match)
easier than others.
Once your character is selected, you get to choose your Entry Order. I HIGHLY
recommend going in at 30, as it will make it the easiest for you.
Once that is done, you'll see a list of the characters that will be in the
match. You can change them to your liking, but it's up to you. Press "Accept"
when you're ready.
The Match:
To win the match, you need to be the last person standing. To get opponents out
of the ring, you need to basically "push" them onto the ropes (usually by
attacking), which will initiate a QTE.
The QTE:
As you'll inevitably see by watching some of the AI, when you get an opponent
on the ropes a "Ring Out" bar will come up, along with the 4 controller buttons
coming up (the buttons only replace the character's bars that are involved in
"struggle").
Whether you are pushing someone out, or resisting it, the QTE is the same -
mash those buttons as best you can.
The "Ring Out" bar is kind of a HP bar. If you're getting pushed out, mashing
the 4 buttons reduces how fast it gets depleted. Although the "Ring Out" bar is
its own bar, it coincides with how much HP you have left - the lower HP you are
when you initially get on the ropes, the *less* time you have to resist getting
pushed out.
Not only that, but even on successfully resisting getting pushed out, it may
just take a huge amount of your HP, although it depends on how low the "Ring
Out" bar gets.
You may also see the "Attacker/Defender" QTE appear here as well, make sure you
press one of the corresponding buttons that appear on screen as soon as you see
the *flash*. This may appear when either you are pushed out yourself, or you
are pushing someone else out.
The strategy:
Unfortunately, since you chose to enter last, you'll be doing a lot of waiting
until you enter the ring. Go find something else to do, as it will be a while.
I would still recommend just watching the screen occasionally though, since you
certainly don't want your character just standing there when you enter.
When you do finally enter the ring, STAY AWAY from the other opponents.
Although there can be up to 6 characters in the ring, you'll rarely see more
than 4 or 5 (including yourself). When you enter the ring, you may just enter
with 4 other AI characters to deal with.
The best way I found to stay away from the AI is actually to climb the
turnbuckles. Pick the corner that doesn't have anyone crowding it, and climb it
(Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle).
However, one of the opponents is bound to want to pick a fight with you. When
this happens, use a Strike to attack from the turnbuckle before he gets close
to you. This will allow you some time to reorient yourself away from all the
other opponents again, and climb another turnbuckle.
Continue to do this as best you can. Again, you're playing DEFENSE until there
it is only down to you and 1 other opponent.
When it gets to that point, it's basically just another match: Use Reversals as
best you can; use Strikes and Grapples to deplete your opponent's HP and push
them towards the ropes; use the healing Taunt if you manage to get to Chain
Level 2 or higher. The only real difference is there are NO Chain Struggles,
and all Grapples just push the opponent away.
The AI is really good at resisting getting pushed out, until they are at zero
HP. Even then, you do have to mash the buttons quite a bit when you get them on
the ropes.
However, they may just get tossed out without any QTE, or you might get the
"Attacker/Defender" QTE instead. If you win that, they get pushed out.
If you lose, it really really sucks since you have to restart and wait to enter
the ring all over again. Unfortunately you can't do much about it.
The "Royal Rumble Winner" trophy will come up after you successfully win the
match.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Manager: Win using a manager in an Exhibition match (MGR5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I put this in the Exhibition Mode section of this guide, since it does have to
be done specifically in that mode.
Easy enough to earn though. Choose a "Single Match" in Exhibition, and when you
select your character, you have the option to select a manager (by pressing
Start). Choose any manager you wish, and start the match.
The description is slightly misleading - the manager does not actually have to
get involved in the match whatsoever.
Win the match, and you should earn this trophy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tag Chain Struggle: Win using a Tag Chain Struggle (TCS5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm pretty sure the only way to set up a Tag Team match is through Exhibition.
In Exhibition mode, choose "Tag Team Match" which is about halfway down the
list. I just chose "Normal Tag" on the next selection.
The characters you choose are irrelevant, play as who you wish.
First, get your character's Chain Level up to 3 via Chain Struggles. Once
there, Irish Whip your opponent into the corner where your partner is:
Make sure your back is facing the corner where your partner is, then Irish Whip
into that corner by pressing (Back, away from opponent) + (Hold X). Getting
your opponent groggy will help ensure the attack connects.
Approach your opponent and then use your Finisher (Square) + (X). This should
initiate an "Attacker/Defender" QTE. To win the QTE, wait until the buttons
that appear *flash* then immediately press one of those 4 buttons as soon as
that happens.
If successful, you should see your partner attack your opponent while your
character holds your opponent up.
Afterwards, win the match, and you'll earn this trophy once the match is over.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Miscellaneous Trophies                                                   (MCT5)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here's a list of the other trophies that aren't quite as dependant on which
mode you play, with a description on how to earn them.
These are listed in the order that they appear on the PS3 system.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chain Struggle: Win using a Chain Struggle (CST5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe there is no possible way you could have missed this trophy if you
have completed WrestleMania Tour mode. Although I suppose it is possible to
complete Legend Killer without using one, I find it highly unlikely. Chain
Struggles are pretty much the mainstay of this game, and you may have seen (and
completed) a large number of these.
If you're reading this section before (or just after) you've started the game,
Chain Struggles are the main QTE of the game, and help raise your Chain Level.
To initiate one, you have to get your opponent groggy (by using Strikes or
Reversals generally) then use Grapple (X). It only works if your opponent is
groggy.
You just have to do one, win the match, and you should earn the trophy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grapplemania: Win using only grapple attacks (GRT5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This can be done in any mode, but I would argue it's easier to do in the second
WrestleMania "Relive" match, with Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant. If you missed
what I wrote at the end of the section of that match in this guide, start that
match up and just follow this:
1) Win the QTE at the beginning of the match
2) Irish Whip Andre into the ropes (do NOT use Strikes while trying to do this),
and win the QTE
3) Grapple Andre while he is standing normally, and not in the groggy state
Andre uses Reversals when you're trying to Grapple him for the finisher, but
just be patient and keep trying. Just remember you cannot use Strikes at all to
earn this trophy.
At the end of the match, you should earn this trophy, assuming you never used a
Strike.
You can do this in a regular Exhibition match, or in Legend Killer Mode as well,
but I would say it's slightly more difficult (but not by much). Again, the only
thing you need to remember is that you cannot use Strikes, so:
1) Reverse your opponent's attack
2) Use a Grapple when he's groggy
3) Win the QTE, use another Grapple when he's on the ground
4) Repeat the process until your opponent's HP is at zero
5) Pin your opponent
I am unsure if your Finisher counts as a "Strike" or not. I wouldn't use one
though, just to be on the safe side.
The trophy will appear at the conclusion of the match.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Technician: Win by using five or more reversals in a single match (TCT5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's a good chance you'll earn this as you go through the WrestleMania
matches. After all, there are a few matches that require 3 Reversals to
complete the objective, and there's a good chance you'll end up doing at least
5.
If not, just load up an Exhibition match and take a character with decent stats
(Hogan, Undertaker, etc.) and play against an opponent you feel you can do
Reversals on. I think Jim Neidhart, Shawn Michaels, and Roddy Piper are
decently easy to do Reversals on.
Once more, the trophy will appear at the conclusion of the match.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dive Attack: Successfully perform a dive attack from all four corners (DAT5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This one you probably have not achieved going through Legend Killer and
WrestleMania, I know I didn't.
If you need it, I just loaded up an Exhibition match, and I was using Honky
Tonk Man with the AI as Andre the Giant.
I would recommend fighting against a larger character here (Andre works well),
or at least one you know takes a while to stand up after you have depleted his
HP to zero.
If you haven't read the other sections, and don't know how to climb a
turnbuckle to attack, it's (Back, towards corner) + (Circle, Circle) then press
(Square) to attack.
You have to climb the turnbuckle and make an attack (and connect with it) in
each corner.
It's easier to accomplish this if the opponent is on the ground, hence why I
suggested someone like Andre that takes a while to get up. If you deplete his
HP to zero first, you should have plenty of time to climb up and make a
connecting attack.
Unlike the majority of the other trophies, this one will actually come up once
you've completed the 4 attacks from each turnbuckle. You don't actually have to
win the match afterwards.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Memory Serves Me Well: Complete any match without pausing in the "Relive"
section of WrestleMania Tour Mode (MEM5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you read the end of the section in this guide about the very first Relive
match, the one with Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy, you may already have this.
For those that have not, that very first match mentioned is a decent place for
this (the second match with Hogan vs. Andre is good too). Here's what I wrote:
1) Succeed in the QTE at the start
2) Irish Whip Bundy into the ropes (or use Hogan's finisher)
3) Escape the cage by climbing the cage wall
Alternatively you could also succeed in the QTE at the start, Irish Whip Bundy,
then use Hogan's finisher, then escape however you want to.
That's all you need to do to net you this trophy.
Remember you CANNOT PAUSE, for any reason. Reality is, this should only take a
few minutes, and the only real thing to remember is the Irish Whip. The QTE is
obvious at the start, and there's only one way to win the match, which is to
escape, so you shouldn't have to think about that either.
Regardless, just practice until you do it.
This is another trophy that comes up after the match has ended.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Invincible Created Legend: Max out a Created Legend's attributes (INV5)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To allocate your points, you need to choose the statue in the middle of the
Legend Killer room, the one representing your Created Legend. This should bring
up a menu to distribute your experience points.
This may be the last trophy you earn in Legend Killer Mode. If you play like I
do, the experience you gain in the tiers won't be enough to maximize your stats
until you're done with the very last tier, which is the All Star Legend tier.
The experience gained in each match depends on what you do (and you can see
this at the end of the match). Whenever you hit with a Strike, a Grapple, win
Chain Struggle, and other things, gain you a various amount of experience.
I was able to get my stats to an "overall" of around 90 before I started the
All Star Legend tier. That last tier (with its 38 matches) gave me the rest of
the experience I needed to max out my stats, earning this trophy.
If for some reason you do not have the experience points needed to maximize all
of your stats by the time you're done with all the tiers, just continue to
finish tiers until you have a sufficient amount (which should not take very
long at all).
Once you have allocated enough experience so all stats reach the cap of 99,
confirm/accept it to save it, and this trophy should come up.
