Introduction =============================================================================== Greetings, and welcome to my Dynasty War... I mean, Shin Sang... Er, Gundam Musou guide. Yes, it's DW2 with robots and zones of control. That's the heart of it. It's repetitive, yet challenging, and I can't stop playing it. Official mode is set in the Universal Century, fairly closely following the One Year War, Gryps Conflict, and 1st Neo Zeon War storylines from Gundam, Z Gundam, and Gundam ZZ respectively. So far, this guide has basic strategies for four of six official mode characters, and the gallery unlockables obtained thereafter. Playing the same stage with a different character can lead to a very different experience, so each stage for each character has a unique walkthrough. However, as in any DW game, what I've presented is just one strategy, and you may find a different or easier path through it. Original mode is much more of a team-based battle, with your team comprised of set characters, battling it out to reach a competitive objective. Set in a mishmash of multiple Gundam universes, it's just a wacky crossover battle. Version History: 0.01 - 03/06/07 - Initial version, just getting it out there. Starting out, head in front of you to C Field, taking out the first Zaku stronghold. From there, I suggest a quick jaunt to D Field, then on to the Central Base for your first boss battle against Ramba Ral. At this stage, he's not too tough, you probably don't even have to worry about blocking, just keep up a full assault on him. After that, head on over to B Field, and right about now the Black Tri-Stars will show up. Lead them into D Field, where you have the advantage. Defeat any one of them to trigger the Jet Stream Attack cutscene. If you want to be historically accurate, take out Mash. At this time, Revil's Big Tray will arrive, so head down to the Southeast Base and get it cleared out, giving you one less thing to worry about. Once Revil gets established, several more fields will pop up, so head north and clear out the new fields. Gaia and Ortega will make their way to I, which is a good place to meet them once you've cleared it. Finally, once Gaia and Ortega are gone and Field I is open, Odessa Base will open up - clear it to get Ramba Ral, and finish him off again to end the level. His attacks are a little more precise this time, so make sure to block and counter, taking out the riffraff when you need some powerups. You'll want to keep at least one of them alive, so head out and save one. When the other falls, the gate to Jaburo will open, and three Gaus full of Zeon will arrive on the scene, along with White Base shortly thereafter. And then the Z'Goks arrive at L Field and all over the base. Lots of them. If any of your internal fields come under attack (say, B Field), head there quickly and turn the tide of the battle. N and O field will pop up, so try to work your way through there towards Base Command, because right around then, you'll hear word about a strange mobile suit running through the base. Yep, it's Char. Fight your way to Base Command, clearing fields as you go. Keep an eye on the base, making sure its morale doesn't drop too low. Char is tough; watch out for his charges, as they can knock out a ton of health. Defend or get away from his line of attack, then combo, combo, combo. Run away if you get too low down and beat up some scrubs for some fresh armor. Alternately, if you're playing a bit more leveled up, it is possible to save both Kai and Hayato (intially) with this strategy: Immediately head south to K Field, clear it, which will give Kai a little extra time; then head north to clear I, save Hayato at F, then back to to rescue Kai at G. The Gaus will arrive at this point, so take a little time to clear J Field. M Field will pop up about now, the Gaus will move out fast, and the gates will be breached regardless of your heroic efforts. After you clean up your internal messages and clear M Field, N Field will pop up, with oodles more Z'Goks. You can clear them out, and when Char shows up, you can even take him out before he manages to get to Odessa if you're in to showing off. Raiden's Custom Gelgoog Victory Conditions: Defeat Kycillia's Forces (Char & Lalah) Defeat Conditions: White Base destroyed Cutscene Amuro vs the Bits - Approach G Field Amuro vs Char - Defeat Char in the final battle The battle starts out with a bang, a quick rematch against Char. His Gelgoog isn't nearly as tough as his Z'Gok, so it should be possible to dispatch it without getting yourself killed too quickly. This will bring out two Salamis cruisers on your side, who will move out and establish fields C and D. The Zeon will begin showing up in force now, and two Musai cruisers will show up to establish Fields E and F. Pick the opposite field from Kai and Hayato to spread out your forces, and when you clear a field, they'll retreat. Clearing out F field, the Elmeth will show up in G Field, and wipe out the Salamis. Ouch. Hayato and Kai should clear out E on their own, leaving you to face off against Lalah's bits. Clear out the field, and the Elmeth will retreat, then Holy Retcon Batman, it's Anavel Gato, the Nightmare of Solomon! H field will pop in with a new Musai shortly thereafter, but first, head towards to I Field and face off against Gato. On your way, go through the colony to meet up with Kai and Hayato, and... It's a trap. The Colony will swarm with tons of Zeon, as well as an Ace, J. Raiden. Ignore him the best you can (knocking him away), and focus on the riffraff, then take out the Gelgoog Guard. Raiden will be a piece of cake after that. You can head up to face of against Gato now (who's a little tough, but if you can catch him in a EFSF field, you should be in good shape). The final Zeon force will show up about now, so once you've taken out Gato, first head back down to J Field and drive off the Musai that's shown up there, then clean up F and E fields to ensure that your allies don't get roasted. From there, I suggest wiping out the Musai at H field, then make your way back through the colony to D (and F, if necessary), then on to I, where the largest remaining Zeon riffraff are to boost your kill count. Finally, in Field J, we find Lalah, and oodles and oodles of Bits. Move and shoot, resorting to the beam sabres only when they're hovering around you. Once you've taken out enough of them, Char will come to the Lalah's rescue. Between him and the bits, surviving can be pretty tough, as you can't combo the bits for pickups. Guard and attack, watch out for his specials. Alternately, if you take out A, C, and E fields quickly enough, along with the Colony, Kai and Hayato can keep the Salamis alive long enough for it to re-esablish D Field for the EFSF, and you can take on Gato and Raiden in I Field, then a Salamis will show up in J, and Char and Lalah will appear in deep space intead of J. It's your choice here to decide whether or not to take on Char right away or save your forces first; they'll be fine while you take on Char. Raiden's Custom Gelgoog *Char - Zeong Victory Conditions: Control A Baoa Qu Defeat Conditions: White Base destroyed / Amuro Killed Cutscene White Base detroyed - Clear Command Base of morale Final Duel - Defeat Char Your first destination is F Field, no problems there, Once it's clear, the gates of A Baoa Qu will open, a Salamis will back you up from the rear, and Kai will begin his attack from the north. Shortly after, Zeon reinforcements will arrive at A and E field. The White Base will show up from the North, Hayato and a Salamis from the south. Head to C Field, clear it, then clear A to allow Kai's group in to attack without harm. You can go clean up some more, but the instant you hit the Central Block, Gato will show up in the south, This will cause Gato to show up in the south, wiping out the Salamis and trying to take F Field. You know what to do - head back down and keep and/or regain control of F Field, then take out Gato, recovering with the masses of now very fragile Zeon. Kai and Hayato will be making their way to the central block by now, and with Gato's defeat, White Base will move out as well, so follow them, clearing any leftover fields on your way. Once the gates in the Central Block open, B, H, J, K, and the Command Base will show up. Resist the temptation to head to J Field and go to the Command Base; this is far from over, and the Zeon will show up with reinforcements very quickly and lock the gates. Instead, make sure all of White Base's surrounding fields are in the blue, then head north to H Field. Once you clear H field and go beyond it, a Musai will show up and take A Field, and J. Raiden will show up near the Command Base. The Zeon will lock all the exterior gates, cutting you off from White Base, so here's hoping you gave them plenty of time to survive. Take out Johnny, then take the elevators up and make your way into I Field and clear it, clearing that field down as much as you need to. Finally, head to the Command Base, knock it out, and bring on Gato. He's a tough cookie, but you can try the following stragegy: Dash away from the group, so they group and follow you, shield up, wait until after Gato's attack, then counter the group with a full combo and/or special attack, repeating ad nauseum. Both Zeon and the Federation will pull out at this point, and Char will show up in his Zeong. Yee-hah! Char will regain his health during mid-battle, but just be careful and keep you guard up, counterattacking as you block his strikes. Enjoy the closing cutscene. Going inside will draw a ton of enemies around you in a close range, leaving you to thrash away at them. Head straight on in to A Field and clear it out first, then over to B and C. Emma will wander off over to D Field and get smashed, but that's not your concern. After that, a whole ton of reinforcements will show up: E-I Fields. My vote is for E Field, and from there, to D, where you can hook up with Quattro and try out the nifty combined special. After that, Appoli and Roberto should be taking care of the northern fields, so that should leave you I Field. Easy pickings, and the guard shouldn't be much trouble. At this point, all of the fields will vanish, the Argama and the Diases will come, and Jerid and Cacricon will show up in their Marasais. It's down to Jerid and Cacricon against you and Quattro with the rest of the Zeon to annihilate for powerups to get through to the drop zone. No worries, as you've got a ton of AEUG along for the ride, just so long as you don't get crazy and get too far ahead of them. Take out Cacricon first, and leave Jerid to Quattro, then help finish him off when you're done with yours. I suggest starting out at B Field, clearing it out to remove Jerid's advantage, then finishing him off. Roberto will show up at F Field, and C Field will also pop up. Roberto doesn't need your help, so go clear out A. Appoli will show up at C, and won't need help right off, so head to E and clean it up. Quattro will join in at D, so help clear out the Dias's fields if you want then head on in through D. Once D falls (either through you or Quattro), all of the outside fields will collapse, and you can head on in. If this all seems a bit too easy, well, you're probably right. Take out G and/or H, then head into the Base Command and take out the Flight Gouf squad. Yep, it was a trap. You've got 15 minutes to make your way back to the Audhulma, and there's lots of zones to take out. Pick your path to the Aud, cleaning out zones while you've got the time, making note of the caved in sections. I went J-G-I-Point 1-K, and finally Point 2 to rescure a nearly dead Quattro, as the Red Comet needed my help - keep an eye on his health to make sure he doesn't kill your mission. You should have plenty of time to make it to the escape point, where a quick battle with Jerid awaits. The two of you should be able to finish him off without too much concern. And Zeta, too, so unfortunately you lose your old MS level and parts. Ouch. Plus, it's a three-way battle, all the more interesting. I couldn't clear it on the first pass, due to the lack of MS levels, so you may want to play for kills once before trying to win, as you really need those levels. You start off in the middle of nowhere, so head south and clear out B Field if you want to get some early kills and get used to the Zeta. When you're ready, move on to help the Argama. If you kill Yazan first, Dunkel and Ramsus will retreat (leaving you with two fewer aces to kill), so head to D first and take out Dunkel, head back to the Start point if you need to swing morale back up, and then on to C to finish off Ramsus, then finally Yazan. The Hambrabi's aren't very smart, but have a ton of armor, and take ages to kill with your Level 1 Zeta. Taking out the Habrabis will get Jerid's attention, so let him come to you in a safe field. He goes down fast, but packs a big punch, so be careful. Once you take out Jerid, more Titans will show up, along with Haman. Leave them to each other, as Reccoa comes at you. Take her out in a safe field, and be careful of her Special attack; it charges fast and can wallop your armor. After Reccoa, head to the Jupitris, and get ready for some mayhem. Avoid Haman and Scirocco, or you'll get everybody attacking you at once. Take out Sarah, and then take out as much of the field's morale and the three guards to give yourself a better chance, and then go approach the two fighters to trigger a cutscene. Scirocco's a little tougher than what you're used to, but has weak armor, so go ahead and go toe to toe with him (fall back, guard, counterattack, repeat), with liberal use of your special. After the Titans withdraw, the rest of AEUG show up, and we're back to 2 on 2. Clear out I, and Haman will show up, and take your cue from Quattro and don't rush ahead, as it's suicidal. Stick around I and wait for Haman to make it to Grypios 2 - she'll call out a massive wave of Gazas. Fight them off for a bit, then when Haman gets close, fall back to the Starting Zone near Quattro. If you get Haman's attention, head back over to Emma or Quattro; the three of you are much more effective than one alone. That's the fight; you're not meant to clear out all of Gryp(io)s yet, if you know the story. As you're working over there, Dunkel will head to the Argama; it should hold out long enough for you to take out Ramsus first, then head back and take out the other Hambrabi and its troops. There's a lot of drama going on with Yazan and the Radish, don't pay it much mind, just take out F Field. Emma will fall back to the Argama, and by this time, Jerid will show up with B and C Field. Don't advance; let Jerid come to you, as he's much tougher than before. You may even want to fall back to Point 1 or back near Quattro for support. Jerid _will_ kill you if you try to take him head on, especially as he gets low health, so make sure to take out riffraff as the battle goes on and pick up those powerups. When Jerid is gone, Yazan will head straight for the Argama, and Axis will show up, so first head to the Argama and let the Axis and Titans fight each other. In the meantime, Emma and Reccoa will fight, with Emma on the losing end, but you will get the Colony Laser as a AEUG Field in return. Just concentrate on Yazan for now, and take him out. Scirocco, Haman, and Quattro will all head to the laser, and you can do so too, clearing out I on the way to give the Argama a little space. You and Quattro vs. Haman and Scirocco in the laser; stay near Quattro, and fight whoever he's fighting - Two have an amazing advantage against one. Haman is the easier target, so try to get her first, but work as a team. Remember- Quattro is essential to the mission, so don't let him get killed. When you've taken down the two of them and gotten out of the Colony (follow everyone else, take your time), the colony laser will fire, wiping out E and F Field. Quattro will immediately head after Haman - Follow him, as he's liable to get himself killed at this point (jump + dash = Wave Rider, in case you haven't figured that out yet). The two of you together should be able to make short work of her, and Axis will retreat from the colony. Quattro will make his way back to the Argama, and you can head over and clean up any remaining Titans- controlled fields around the Argama. Once it's all clear, head to the Jupitris, taking out K Field on the way. Wipe out enough scrubs to bring out Scirocco, then finish him off for good. He'll be surrounded by scrubs, and he's too fast to do the old guard/counter trick, so take out the scrubs, build up SP, unleash it on him and a wide range of scrubs, gather power-ups, repeat. Oh yeah, Double Zeta. Bleah. Anyway, you'll start off in the Zeta, which carries over parts (but not experience) from Kamille's run, which is a nice bonus. You should be able to head south and clear out B Field in about 50 seconds, including the guard. When that's done, three Gwadans will show up, with insanely low morale, along with C and D field. Clear C, and the Gwadans will bolt, and the Argama will move out. Ple shows up now, so take her in a controlled field. In D Field, you can fight her along with Roux, so take advantage of the help, if you need it. With Ple gone, Beecha will run into trouble at H Field and Elle at G, so go help both of them, WaveRider-ing between the two. When you've cleaned up both, Glemmy will show up and head to Roux, so go help her out - the two of you should make very short work of him, especially with the combination attack. With Glemmy gone, Point 1 and J and K fields will open up and block the Argama's path, so you know what to do now. Take them out, J, 1, K, not worrying about the Gwadan that shows up. After taking out Point 1, the Argama will move forward, so hurry up with K so you can meet them at P Field. When you clear down morale at P, Ple will show up, and you'll get a cutscene shortly after. Roux is fine with Glemmy, so concentrate on Ple with Elle; she should go down in short measure. No levels, no parts, and no luck. The mission is easy right up until the last battle, which is just plain excrutiating. I recommend powering up a few times if you want to avoid frustration. The battle starts out easy enough: Vs. Haman. No worries, though, she's a pushover, and then a few minutes in, Qubeleys! Don't worry, use them as cannon fodder, and keep after Haman. The field will vanish and the MPs retreat when you wipe out enough morale (one SP shot will do it), and Haman is quick to squash. The colony will open up, so head on in and make your way to the next field, drop its morale, then take on Haman again. She's tougher this time, so use those Gazas for boosts as you need them. Once you've finished her off a second time, the asteroid will hit, and the battle begins anew. It's actually possible to clear out B Field in a single SP shot, even at level 1. C falls just about as easily. D and E are slightly trickier, with MP Qubeleys, but not really. Once you finally get to Core 3, you should know the drill by now. Haman again, a little tougher, but still easy to take out. Once you do, F and G open up outside, so head on out to meet them. Both fields should fall very quickly and easily, giving you some armor boosts if you combo it up right. Haman shows up one last time, and she'll refill her health once as you knock her down, so be prepared for that. With no way to power back up (unless you run away and go look for crates you left behind, which isn't a bad idea), you'll need to fight carefully against her (and saving helps). The best strategy I've found is to face her and strafe, then dash to the side when she attacks, quickly turning back and slashing at her from the side. She will not chase you too far, and she does not regain strength, so don't hesitate to go crate hunting if you need to. This is one of the toughest battles in the game due to the lack of leveling at this point, so save as you need to. You start off in your Gelgoog, so clear out B Field right away, getting used to the new MS. Once clear, your reinforcements will arrive, so move out to C Field to clear it next. Doing so will bring in 2 Salamis cruisers, so move out to E Field and clear it. Clearing E Field brings out G Field and Kai in the Guncannon, but instead of facing him right away, head up and clear out D Field to relieve some pressure off of Lalah. Kai should catch up to you by now, so take him out; he shouldn't provide much of a challenge. Defeating Kai will launch Amuro, who will go after Lalah. Take him out, and give her a break. Defeating Amuro launches F Field and Hayato, who is incredibly simple to defeat. Once Hayato's down, Amuro re-launches and goes back after Lalah, so head over to her location. Beat down Amuro one more time (he can actually cause you some trouble without a powered-up MS, so be careful) to end it. From there, you should be able to clear G and H without too much trouble. Make your way down to the drop zone, and it will trigger everyone else heading there except Kamille, as Jerid and Cacricon show up. You should know this drill pretty well - either gang up or take on one at a time, it's up to you, as they're both pretty easy, especially with the hyper-nimble HS. If you've played Kamille's Official mode, this will seem awfully familiar. Just run through and clear out all of the outside zones as everybody slowly shows up. Kamille and Jerid will finally drop into the Center Point, at which point you should make your way there, finishing up the remaining red fields and head to the center. With Emma, Roberto, and Kamille there, Jerid should be a complete joke. Once the Center Point is cleared, make your way on in, clearing all the fields until you reach Base Command, then turn around and head on back out. The only real challenge here is getting too far away from Kamille; he can get himself killed without your help, so don't leave him alone for too long. He'll rush to Point 2, and if you don't join him quickly he will die. Once Point 2 is open, Kamille will warp to the Escape Point with full health, so make your way there, help him down Jerid, and it's all over. This level sucks. Seriously. You have to keep both Kamille and the Argama alive, and since Kamille tends to wander around the level getting killed by anybody and anything, you're pretty much going to have to do it yourself. I couldn't do it until I had the Hyaku Shiki up to Level 5, and even then it took me a few tries. The first thing you'll want to do is save Emma; she's vital to keeping the Argama in one piece when you can't. Rush north and hit Yazan a few times to rescue her, and she'll head back to the Argama and stay there; otherwise, you risk her wandering around and letting the Argama get trashed while you're in the laser. Letting the Radish go save her will cause her to respawn in the middle of nowhere, and she won't rush to assist the Argama. Jerid is the first serious boss fight, so you'll want to keep him away from Kamille. Stall out the fight as long as possible, drawing Jerid into fields you'll want to control. Killing him will spawn Yazan, so repeat. For these several minutes, clear fields, clear fields, clear fields. Keep the fields surrounding the Argama clear before (or immediately after) killing Yazan, without letting Kamille get killed as well. When Axis and Scirocco show up, CLEAR E FIELD. Then take on Scirocco and Haman outside of the laser - Kamille will go inside, eventually heading out, and will wander around the stage some more instead of being killed by one of them if you're lucky. Take them out the best you can; remember, they hate each other too, so if you're lucky you can get them fighting each other (without Kamille around them), and take the moment to blue up the area a little. Once they're gone, the Laser will fire. Assess the damage; you may need to
clear out a few remaining Titans fields to give the Argama some room.

Meanwhile, Kamille will have rushed off to the Jupitris.  He's actually okay
by himself for a little while, as Scirocco is the guard and not roaming around
free, so take advantage of the lull and give the Argama as much room as
possible, and heal yourself up after that nasty fight.  Scirocco is actually
pretty easy with two, and as long as you keep his attention on you with a
constant barrage of attacks, Kamille will live.

So, it's over, right?  Nope.  Luckily, Kamille will retreat back to the
Argama, so it's time for you to head over and take on Haman.  She'll come to
you, so pick your battleground; I suggest somewhere near or even in an Axis
field, so you'll have scrubs/powerups at your disposal.  With available
power-ups, you should be able to easily outlast her in a one-on-one fight,
especially since she's not as powerful as she is in Judau's final stage.

Clearing Char nets you CCA Char in Original Mode, along with Char's Red Zaku
as a selectable MS, and Char able to select any suit in Official Mode.
Clearing Mission 02 nets you the Hyaku Shiki as a selectable MS.

Starting out right in A Field with Sara, should be an easy clear, getting you
used to The O.  Reccoa will start out just to the south in B Field, so go
help her out, and Kamille and Quattro will arrive shortly after you've knocked
Haman down a few times.  Haman will retreat, and your two allies will wander
off to the Jupitris, leaving you with the two AEUG aces.  Luckily, neither one
should give you much trouble, as long as you can separate them.  You should
also still be surrounded by Axis remnants, which you can dispose of for
power boosts if you need.

After forcing Kamille and Char to retreat, AEUG will arrive in force, along
with Jerid on your side, getting Kamille to re-launch.  A minute later, Yazan
and his pals will show up too.  Spend your time working on J Field, then work
up to E and D.

As you clear E, Quattro will launch, but he's really not a threat as long as
you move fast.  Leave everybody else to their own tasks, as you've got more
than enough allies to survive here.  Clear out D, then if you're up for a
little more fun, go take out Quattro and Kamille before finally moving up to
Point 2 to take on the Argama.  Emma will show up as a guard here, but
again, she's really no match.  Knocking out Emma forces the Argama to retreat,
and then Axis will show up.

They're easy picking as this point, so go clear out I, A, and any fields they
manage to take over in the interim with their first rush, leaving only
Point 1.  Haman will show up again, but she's really weak compared to even
a Level 1 Big O, so there's very little to worry about, especially if Yazan
and friends show up to help.

Head south, clear out B and its guard, then repeat the same for A.  By about
this time, Kamille will show up, so go help out Jerid with him, and watch the
theatrics over in D field as the Radish goes to save Emma from Yazan.
Meanwhile, go ahead and clear D field, then mosey on over to C field to
finish off Emma and move the story along.

The Colony Laser will go active about now, so head on down to Point 1 and
wipe it out, then head to Point 2.  In the meantime, more Titans forces will
arrive, along with Axis.  Clearing out both Point 1 and Point 2 will set the
colony laser ready to fire, so immediately head on in and start fighting.
Quattro is waiting inside as the guard once you knock out the morale there.
You've only got 5 minutes before the laser fires, and even less time than
that before Kamille and Haman arrive, so pull out all the stops.  If you can
get Char to the rear of the colony, Haman and Kamille will end up meeting
towards the front, and end up fighting each other instead of focusing on
you.

Leave Haman and Kamille to each other - Kamille will end up on the losing
end here, and Hamana won't go after you if you exit fast enough, so you can
go take out the Argama at Point J.  By that time, Emma and Reccoa will have
killed each other, and you may lose a few other allies, but as long as the
Jupitris stands, it won't be any problem.  Once the AEUG is out of the
picture, head north and defend the Jupitris, wiping out Axis field by field
until you either get bored or Haman takes enough notice to stop you.

Once you take out Haman, Axis will retreat, and Kamille will show up with a
small squadron. With Axis gone and only a few AEUG left, Kamille can be a
royal pain since you'll have trouble refilling your gauges.  Just use your
guys as cannon fodder, use The O's shots to whittle him down from a distance,
and lose the war for winning the battle.

Clearing Official mode with Scirocco opens him up for Original Mode, and
allows you to select any mech with him in Official Mode.

This mission really is two-in-one, although both parts run pretty quickly.

Start by quickly clearing out C Field, which will free up D Field and bring
out Jerid, and that's where to fight him - At this level, he's only slightly
tougher than a grunt.  Scirocco and pals will likely take over B by then, so
that's your next destination.  Scirocco's squad will wander over to E, and
Yazan's will likely come to you, so take 'em out one at a time.

When Scirocco arrives at the Jupitris, he'll launch an attack on Axis, so
focus E Field for a start.  Once you've cleared it out, head on down to the
Jupitris, and face off against Scirocco, Reccoa, and Sara.  The Qubeley is
vastly overpowered at this level compared to them, so go ahead and just knock
them out.  When Scirocco falls, the Titans will fall back, and you'll have a
moment of calm to enjoy.

The calm doesn't last.  In comes the AEUG with Operation Maelstrom.  They'll
surround the colony and work fast to knock it out, so rush in and immediately
start wiping out their attacking fields.

Start out with E and F; once they fall, Emma and Quattro will arrive on the
scene, and your B Field will have fallen by then, so that's a great place to
handle all three problems at once.  Emma is fairly easy if you can take her
alone, although Quattro will require a little more of your concentration, but
thanks to Haman's great range, you'll also be taking out tons of grunts at
the same time, and can clear both the field and Emma and Quattro right around
the same time.

Taking out those two will bring on Kamille, but just to make sure you're okay,
go ahead and wipe out G and H to ensure that you won't lose Grypios.  The
Argama will show up in one of the fields, giving you a slightly tougher
clear, and if Kamille shows up you can easily knock him away at this level.

From there, it's just cleanup and Kamille, neither of which should pose you
any major issues.

Your Gwadan will be under attack from two sides early on, so be quick to clear
out both A and C Fields; Dunkel and Ramsus shouldn't provide too much
trouble.  Doing so will bring out Jerid and Reccoa, but you should focus on
emptying out B Field and Yazan first.  Reccoa will come after you, but you
should be able to handle even both her and Yazan at the same time; the
Qubeley is just that good.

Jerid will be focusing on taking over A Field, so head there next and
reclaim it, and any other Titans fields.  Jerid is again fairly simple to
dispatch, so do so at your leisure.  Clean up any remaining Titans fields
to give the Gwadan plenty of room.

When Jerid falls, the AEUG and Titans reinforcements will show up.  The AEUG
will activate the laser, and Scirocco will head in.  My recommendation is to
take out Scirocco, then retreat and go kill AEUG for a while, as you really
have no qualms about the laser firing at this point.  Once it fires, then
the fun begins.

The Jupitris and Scirocco will show up, along with more AEUG and Kamille.
Feel free to make you way up there and clear out any fields you want at your
leisure, as your target is Scirocco, and there's nothing wrong with letting
Kamille do as much damage as possible to him first.  Take the time you
need to give the Gwadan plenty of room, since AEUG will launch its final
strike when you down Scirocco and the Titans withdraw.  Don't take them all
out, as you may need to retreat for some power-ups later.

Kamille will also withdraw when Scirocco goes down, leaving you with a newly
launched Quattro.  He's probably your only match in the two missions you've
had here, with the same level of speed and unpredicatability, but he's lacking
your firepower.  Still, there should be more than enough AEUG remnants for
you to boost back up with if you find yourself on the losing end of things.

Yep, it's Judau's mission 2, you've just swapped places, and it turns out
all of the enemies are Glemmy's troops, so you get more than just the Qubeleys
for some variety.

So, starting off, defeat Judau, who should be pretty easy against your
powered-up Qubeley, then move into the colony and clear the field there.
Judau will come in after Glemmy's troops leave, so don't wipe all of them
out as they retreat so you'll have a little something extra to mix it up with.
Judau should be fairly simple to defeat, thanks to the Qubeley's jumping
attack which will hit a blocking opponent from behind.

Exit back out to the marker point, and the stage will change.

A little different here, Glemmy's troops will be surrounding your Gwadan, so
go take them out at B and C Field.  Doing so will bring in AEUG, Judau from
the south, and two fields from the north.  Head to Judau to ensure the Gwadan
doesn't fall; he should be very easy to take out, and you'll have both AEUG
and Glemmy's leftover troops in the zone to boost up with.

From there, head north to D and E fields and empty them.  Judau will show up
again one last time, but you've still should have a heavy advantage over him,
thanks to the extra two levels you went through.  Be wary of the range of his
beam sabres, dodge and weave, and SP attack like mad.

Knocking the little twerp out (disregarding that cutscene) opens up ZZ Haman
in Original Mode, and allows MS selection in Official.

first objective.

Char in the Southeast, but you only need to defeat Char to finish the mission.

Your can only be defeated here is you lose every field, and since you only
start with one, clearing adjacent fields as quickly as possible is your best
strategy.

The Center Point will spawn after you defeat Yazan, and fields F-J will spawn
after you take the center point, along with reinforcements, so run around and
clear out everything else and take out every enemy ace.  After you control
the entire area and wipe out all enemy aces, Musha Gundam will finally spawn
at D Field.

You did keep your allies alive, right?  If you have three aces helping you out,
Musha should be absolutely no problem.

Now, this is a fun level.  Domon versus Master Asia, Milliard versus Heero.
After you win and your partners split, Amuro and Kamille will show up to help,
the gates open, and you can run aruond and stat clearing fields.

After you defeat Char, Jerid will show up outside of Subroom A, so feel free
to help Kamille out with him.  After you've taken out Haman, you'll get a ton
of reinforcements (with Ple Two and Judau), and a third yellow force will take
the interior of the elevator.

Scirocco, Yazan, Dunkel, Ramsus, Sarah, Reccoa all spawn and Point 2, and your
only real challenge here is to make sure you land the killing blow on each
before your allies do.

Once you've taken out Scirocco, everybody else retreats, and it's just Domon
versus Master Asias.  That was not a typo.  You'll first face off against
three low-powered ones, then one of standard toughness, and two more low-health
ones.  Finally, you'll face the real Master Asia, who's completely powered
up.  Melee vs. melee MS, a bit tough, but not impossible; don't hesitate
to run away and look for crates you left behind, and abuse the save feature.

Domon unlocks Tohou Fuhai and Ple for Original, Master Gundam and the Q Mk-II
Black as MSs, Domon selectable MS in Original.

Finally, something a little different; the Mausoleum is a bit trickier, with
changing lava fields rearraging the level once you take the Center Point.
Yazan and Haman will show up then with a ton of reinforcements to the north,
but as long as you keep an eye on your allies' health, there's little to
worry about.

Clearing out everybody else will leave you with Musha Gundam; by now, Rolan
should be powered up enough to finish him off without any problems.

Ah, now this is a battle.  After you take the first couple of fields, the
third force will show up with Domon and Milliard, and the reds will send along
Sara and Reccoa.  Clear out the roaming aces first, then focus on Scirocco.

Defeating Scirocco will destroy Subroom B, opening up the level quite a bit,
and Haman will show up at Point N and Heero at Point B.  After Heero shows up,
Rolan will activate the Moonlight Butterfly, and wipe out a few fields in the
middle-left of the zone, opening things up quite a bit.

Master Asia will show up at Point N, and when you defeat Haman, Char and
Amuro arrive at C Field.  When you knock out Char, Musha Gundam will finally
arrive at the Main Room and become the guard temporarily, but he will then
bolt after the Argama.  As long as you've kept your allies alive, he should
be no problem at all; it's much easier to kill him with many than one.

Rolan unlocks Emma for Original Mode, opens suit selection for Rolan in
Original.

Heero is death incarnate.  Giving any kind of strategy here would be an
insult, but here are a few notes about the level just for the heck of it.

Clearing 2 fields spawns Ple/Glemmy/Haman and more enemy fields.  The C-to-
North Point path will open up when Master Asia reaches it.  Milliardo spawns
when Ple falls, and when Milliardo falls, Kamille and Domon show up.  Defeat
either one of them to open the gates to the Center Point and Musha Gundam.

Clear the first field to spawn F and G, defeat Scirocco and the Argama will
show up at the Southwest Point.  The Argama will move to H and drop off Sarah,
then to J, then E, dropping off Roux, Judau, and Reccoa.  It'll bust through
the wall there, opening up the level even more, but since your only focus is
on keeping the Zanzibar in good shape, it's fairly easy to take your time
and rack up another 1000+ kill level.

The gates on this level are your greatest challenge, so just be sure to take
note of paths that open and close.

The Zanzibar shows up early with Yazan's crew at the Center Point, and Rolan
spawns at C shortly after.  Ple and Emma are next, then after you knock out
one of them, Roberto and Appoli.  After the Diases fall, the Audhulma spawns
at E and heads to NW-A, drops off F Field and Emma.

After all other aces fall, Amuro and Char spawn, and the Audhulma will fly
around, establishing fields, and changing the gates.  From there, you can
just follow Char around the entire level, re-taking any field he manages to
take until you finally catch up with him.

Keeping control of the Main Room is easy, but Master Asia will run out and
get himself killed if you don't keep an eye on him.

Clear the Dock to open the gates to Subroom A, and Ple will spawn.  Defeat
Ple, clear A and B, and the Enemy will show up en masse and begin rushing the
main room.  Buy as much time as possible by clearing surrounding zones.
Defeat Emma and Judau to Char and Amuro as guards (meaning you can save them
for last until you're ready to clear their zones), and Yazan and crew arrive.

Clear C Field, drive off the Argama from Point 1 to give yourself more room,
face Char at F field.  Subroom B will blow, and Rolan will guard its remains.

At this point, you should have control of the level, so take your time and
clear field after field at your own pace, keeping an eye on Master Asia so he
doesn't get killed.

Jerid and Master Asia will teleport to the first zone you clear, which is a
good thing, as they are both somewhat suicidal.  The Argama, Judau, and
Rolan spawn shortly afterwards, so just make sure they don't get themselves
killed.

Clearing I will spawn even more fields and several more aces, and after
clearing out all of the enemy aces, Milliardo, Haman, and Scirocco will show
up as the third force.

Your main task here is to Defend Your Castle.  Clear surrounding fields,
defend your partners, team up with them against any aces that head their
way.  Once you've taken out every other ace, the entire level will empty,
and it's down to just you and Master Asia, who's switched sides on you.

So, how does a slower ranged MS fight effectively against the very fast melee
of Master Asia?  It doesn't.  So, it's time to be cheap; vulcan him to death.
Seriously, strafe and vulcan; Master Asia can't handle the long-range attack
with any effectiveness, so keeping him far away is your best bet.  If your
health goes into the red (likely), use it to your advantage and hit him with
Level 1 or 2 SP attacks (don't bother with Level 3).

Clearing Heero unlocks Milliardo and Jerid in Orignial, Epyon and the black
Gundam Mk-II as selectable MSs, and Heero's mech selection in Original.

So, with a powered-up Amuro from Official mode, this should be a cakewalk,
right?  Wrong.  Playing Original Mode with any Official mode character is
basically like playing Hard Mode - Enemies take and deal more damage, they
take zones faster, and your allies will die.  Welcome to teh suck.

At least the first mission is fairly easy.  Dunkel + Ramsus spawn when you
enter Center East.  The gates to E Field open when the center is completely
clear.  A Gau and several fields spawn when the Northeast Base falls,
revealing Heero.  Clearing everything else opens up the Southeast with
Master Asia, who shouldn't give you too much trouble.

Argh.  Ple + Milliard spawn right away, but Heero, all by himself, is doomed
to die before you can get to him.  Defeat Milliard to open C-to-SE gate, which
then forces you to run all the way back to secure the Audhulma.  Clear zones
like mad before you defeat Ple, which will launch the second wave of attacks.

Milliard respawns at G and brings along Domon to the Southwest, but your
challenge for the next several minutes is watching the rest of your allies die
and trying to keep the Audhulma from getting destroyed; with very weak morale
zones all over, it's very hard to keep from losing field after field after
field.  Clear out as many enemies as quickly as possible after clearing each
field to stave off the next takeover, and eventually work your way around to
the last two aces.
