Drakengard 3 - The Final Song The Final Verse for Branch D of Drakengard 3, a hybrid action and flight shooter game, is a 7-8 minute rhythm segment. One miss, and it's game over. This includes the practically rhythmless note at the end once the screen has faded to black and there is ongoing dialogue. The enemy will emit a white circle with a high pitched sound. The player must then hit a button with proper timing four beats (equal to one measure) afterwards. Most of the controller buttons will work, but L1 and R1 work well for the faster segments. As the level progresses, the camera will be changing to increasingly distracting positions. Additionally, the tempo does speed up between segments until the final section, which begins with a more moderate tempo and gradually decelerates to a very slow beat. After dozens of tries, I passed this level by writing up this guide then playing the level without looking at the screen. Each line in this guide is one measure as the level never asks you to do repeat longer segments than this. For the first half, notes are all on the four beats of each measure. 1 means the first beat, 13 means the first and third beat, 124 means beats 1 and 2 and 4, 1234 means all four beats need to be pressed. ZERO 1 13 1 13 13 1 123 124 1 13 1 13 123 1 FIVE 24 24 234 234 24 23 234 24 FOUR 1 13 123 2 124 23 23 234 3 THREE 13 123 1 1234 24 1234 1 1 23 4 For the second half of this rhythm battle, eighth notes/off beats are used. Tabs will be used to separate each eighth note/half beat. For example, 1 + 3 would require the player to hit the first, fourth, and fifth notes. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + requires the player to hit all eight notes. The timing can be fairly tricky. Good luck. Some time later, the final chime occurs. It does not seem to me to match up properly with the rhythm. I hit the button at the start of Mikhail's second spoken line, "I... I had a lot of fun." This timing seemed to work. Missing this will cause a game over. This is the last note. If you passed this, congratulations on your hard work. Enjoy Ending D of Drakengard 3.
