CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE... Thank you NIS and everyone else involved in the creation of the Disgaea Games. I love them and always will. I may not like everything you put in, but I love spending my time on games that provide me countless hours of entertainment. I just hope the changes they are planning on Disgaea 5 keep everything that I have come to love in Disgaea intact. Thank you to my friend Googen...without his assistance, I wouldn't have been able to begin compiling this. His help was absolutely remarkable. You have my deepest of gratitude. BASIC INFORMATION... Alrighty then...First off, this is in no way, 100% dead on accurate. If your familiar with any of the Disgaea games, the values can get astronomically outta hand to get 100% dead accurate results (EG: trying to calculate how much damage you will deal with your attack), even more so with DD2. The numbers listed are a generalized "Ball-Park" value. If it's listed as "1.1M" you could very well get away with "1.09M". the values were rounded out and generalized during testing for simplisity's sake. Also, the max stat reduction you can hit a mob with is a 50% reduction. Any more than this amount, and it's ignored. (EG: if you reduce a target's stat by 60%, it's treated as 50%). This guide is focused around Casters (since they are the preferred way to farm, and easiest way to do so. This can still be done with Melee skills, such as sword tech, but it's much harder and you must have MUCH higher stats to do so successfully. You either have to 1 shot the targets, or use a lift->throw->attack->run back to the thrower strategy). This is an end-game information set. I recommend that before you really get serious with farming RCCoO6 (Rasetsu Land Of Carnage Cave Of Ordeals Stage 6), that you complete the Post-Game bonus stages and unlock the bonus characters. You will need Grosso and Valvatorez at the very least. Artina has a useful Evility if you are leveling a male unit. All testing for this FAQ was done using Tera Fire/Tera Star. Meaning that if your using anything else, it might not work. Another note, DO NOT USE ICE TECHNIQUES ON THE MAP!!! The sharks all gain 5% boost to their stats for every ice skill used on the map. And with a final note before moving on. When using the mounting system, the rider doesn't move...therefore, an evility like Shut-In Officer means that the mount under the rider, along with any unit adjacent (next to) the mounted pair will also gain the 30% stat boost, and you can move the unit around, since the mount is the one that moves. WHAT YOU NEED... DARK ASSEMBLY BILLS - You need between 100,000-150,000 Mana for each character! I Wanna Be Friends - Cost: 10,000 Mana - Select this bill, then select the character that you wish to increase your likeability with. In order to use another bill that we will be needing (namely, stealing the evility off another character), you have to be at max likeability with that person. (5 hearts). For those with limited Math capabilities, that means that just to hit max likeability with someone, when you start with 0 hearts, you need 50,000 Mana. And this is before the bill to steal their evility! I Want Their Evility - Cost: 100,000 Mana - Select this bill, then select the character that you have 5 likeability with and has the evility that you want. Pass the bill and VOILA! Remember! Stealing someone's evility STEALS IT FROM THEM! If you want to have your evility on the original character, you have to transmigrate (Reincarnation Bill) that character! Doing this lets you steal the evility once more and put it on another character. Rinse and repeat as much as necessary. Oh, one more thing. There's no point in putting 2 evilities of the same name on a character. The effects DO NOT STACK! (So no, you can't gain 40% absorption for killing an enemy with Valvatorez...tried it...) SPELLS Magic Boost - Increase the int of target by 50%. You only need a few squares for range, but it never hurts to have more, just in case Charm - Succubus skill. Inflicts Deprave. Deprave - Reduces all stats of it's target by 30%. Have your succubus use this skill long enough to gain gain the 3x3 targets, and to have a range of 8 or 9 (depending on positioning that you use) Res Break - Decrease the target's RES stat by 30%. Have your character that is using this, have the 3x3 targetting for it, along with a 8 or 9 range (depending on positioning that you use) Tera Fire - Power Level: C - Ultimate Fire Spell. Most powerful Fire spell in the game. Raise a mage and unlock Tier 4 for them. Create a new mage (or reincarnate your current) and raise them up to level 80. Then use the apprentice system to teach it to who ever your trying to raise in levels/mana/ stats. Recommended range is 7(5 if you use magic extend or have Petta next to you) so that they can hit the sharks from behind the base panel and not have to worry bout the sharks moving forward to eat you. Eventually you will want the 3x3 Targetting, but so long as you can hit them, you can use it and keep working on getting the 3x3 version. (Optional) Tera Star - Power Level: C - Ultimate Star Spell. Most powerful Star spell in the game. Raise a mage to unlock Tier 6 mages. Create a new mage (or reincarnate your current) and raise them up to level 80. Otherwise, same rules as for Tera Fire. EVILITIES Evility stat boosts up to x200% - 200% is the cap for increases to your stats on the field (absorbtion is the exception). Remember! Magic Boost is a 50% boost and is counted in against this 200%. So if your using Magic Boost, you only need 150% increase from evilities. RECOMMENDED EVILITIES...Remember! You can only have 1 stolen evility on a unit, the other evility you have is a generic to that class/unit. Absorbtion - Gained from: Valvatorez - You gain 20% of the stats of any defeated unit. Sadly this gain only lasts until the map is cleared or otherwise ends. However, when farming, if you down a single enemy, your guaranteed to quicken any future kills on that map. Kill 5 and your guaranteed to be more powerful than the mobs on the map. It makes clearing the second set of mobs INCREDIBLY easy. STRONGLY suggest it on the character that your scoring the kills with! Shut-In Officer - Gained from: Grosso - As long as unit doesn't move, increase stats of adjacent units by 30%. In other words, as long as you don't move the unit with this evility, any of your units next to this one, gain 30% stat boost. (Something I randomly discovered: When you pull someone out of the base panel, they are treated as if they have not moved, so they grant this 30% boost to anyone next to your base panel. Abuse this! Pull someone out, take a shot, then put them back!) Angel Glitter - Gained from: Artina - Increase Stats of Adjacent male ally units by 30%. If this unit is standing next to a male ally unit, the male unit gains 30% to all stats. Only effective if your raising a male unit. Remember, most monsters are male. (Optional) Heat Depression - Gained from: Ifrit Monster Class - Decrease fire element stat of enemy units on map by 15%. In other words, pull this guy outta the base panel, and the enemy's resistance to the fire element drops by 15%. Normally not too bad, but consider the implications of this. The mobs are naturally weak to fire (-75%). Using this makes it -90% Fire Resist. It's essentially 15% more damage (30% if your using a Magic Knight with Attack Weakness Evility). Not required by any means, but it's a decent chunk of bonus damage, so I use one. Can't go lower than 90% though, so there's not much reason for more than 1 of these beasts. I suggest putting Shut-In Officer on him as well to make his evilities really helpful on this map! 30% stat boost and 15% more damage! (Optional) Vocal Mind Control - Gained from: Lanzarote - Increase stats of ally units by 4%, decrease stats of enemy unites by 4%. This one is entirely up to you. I don't really utilize it much myself. if you stack every one of your party with this, that's a whopping 40% knock off enemy stats and a decent 40% stat boost to you. It's the knock off enemy stats that makes it useful. In Rasetsu Mode, your damage is based on how close, or far apart, your stats and your target's stats are. It's not a bad strategy for lowering the enemy stats so you can hit them easier. I havn't tested this, but I ASSUME that it counts into the 50% reduction cap, which is why I havn't bothered with it. with Res Break and Charm, your past the cap for reduction, making this a nearly useless evility. Just my opinion on the matter though. If you can't hit the enemy with Charm/Res Break, then it might be worth it to put this one on a handful of units. (Optional) Attack Weakness - Gained from: Magic Knight - Increase Damage dealt by 100% when exploiting target's negative element. If an enemy is weak to an element, and you use that element on the enemy, you do double damage! For the purposes of farming mobs that are naturally weak to fire, this is amazing! It effectively means that you clear the maps twice as fast! Eventually when you 1 shot everything, this might not be as powerful, but until that point, this is a beauty! (Optional) Tyrant's Slave - Gained from: Fenrich - Increase stats by 100% when adjacent to Valvatorez. Just as it says, stick this person next to Valzy and you double your stats. It's a WONDERFUL way to boost a certain character without having to pull out 8 other characters. Just requires you to steal Fenrich's evility on whomever your working on, and make sure that they stand next to Valzy, and you have half of your increase cap with just 1 character! Arguably the best farming evility, I just hate having to move evilities all the time, so I didn't utilize this myself. But a great choice to consider! (Optional) Lovely Song - Gained from: Sea Witch (or Sea Monkey as Googen refers to them. "Well, that's what they are") - Increase stats of ally units on map by 5%. Not a bad boost if your struggling to transfer shut-in Officer around to multiple characters, and provides you a boost while your working on getting your characters evilities all set up. Googen suggests using Lovely Song with Vocal Mind Control for a 9% stat boost to ally units and a 4% reduction to the enemy's. He notes that eventually, they would become absolete. (Optional) Loyalty - Gained from: Porkmeister - Increase stats by 30% if there is an Overlord on map. In short, as long as Laharl is on the map, this unit gains 30% stats. not a bad evility to start you off when your struggling to hit 200% boosts. If you can't hit them when on a 200% stat boost from evilities, and they have 50% of their res stat, then you can't clear the stage, PERIOD. Meaning that Absorbtion wouldn't work anyways (the evility that I personally recommend and suggest over this one). Once you have enough boosting evilities to push your characters to the 200% mark, this evility becomes useless. ON WITH THE SHOW!! The map that you will spend your life on, is Cave of Ordeals, Stage 6. Below is an idea of how the map is set up: WHEN YOU START THE MAP [G][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][G] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [G][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][G] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][S] [S][S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][S] [S][S][S][ ][B][ ][S][S] [S][S][S][S][S] G - GEO SYMBOL B - BASE PANEL M - MONSTER UNIT S - SAFE TO END TURN AFTER KILLING THE FIRST SIX [G][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][G] [ ][S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][M][M][M][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][S] [ ][S][S][ ][ ] [ ][ ][S][S][ ] [ ][S][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][S][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][S][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][S][S][S][S][S][S][S][S][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [G][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][G] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][B][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] The monster type are the shark monsters. Rahab if you will. Your only concern with them jumping you, is that they can move 3 squares and they can attack anything within 3 squares of them. In short, if you are within 6 squares of them, they will eat you. What that means, is that for the most part, placing units behind the base panel is safe. Refer to the map for a quick location of what spots your safe to end your turn on. You want to kill these sharks on the spaces that they stand on, because the geos grant 100% xp and 100% mana increases. If your just in it to gank these guys for the LoC stats, then it doesn't matter. By now you are likely seeing why Magic is the easiest route for leveling your characters and clearing this stage quickly. A word of caution when dealing with the 3x3 of sharks after you deal with the first 2x3. DO NOT STAND NEXT TO THE POND!!! (or, if your not sure what a pond is, DO NOT STAND WHERE THE BACKROW OF SHARKS WERE). If you refer to the map above, you'll notice that the front row sharks in the 3x3 are within 6 spaces of the first group of sharks. Remember! Your in range of the sharks, if your within six spaces of them INCLUDING their movement range. Since they can't walk across the pond, they only have 1 movement to work with, then they have 3 attack range, meaning if you stand next to the pond, one will move forward, and use Lorenzini to hit you) With all of this done, let us get on to what you REALLY wanted to see...the stats! STATS FOR CAVE OF ORDEALS; STAGE 6 Due to being forced to use Notepad to upload this instead of my nice, clean, tidy, organized Excell Spreadsheet, This may be a bit garbled. I'll do my best to clean it up for ease of reading though! Remember! I rounded the values for simplicity's sake. The individual stat collums (eg: HP, SP, Atk) are the gains that you should average after clearing the entire stage with a single character getting all the killing blows. Also, yes, I'm aware of the difference in values in difficulty 16-18. That's how the enemy stats seem to work out. Not sure why. So there's no reason to mess around on difficulty 17 stars with LoC:CoO6. Another point of interest is 19-20 Rasetsu Land Of Carnage Cave of Ordeals Stage 6. There's no real purpose to 19 stars, so if you can, skip it and jump into 20 stars. IMPORTANT NOTES CONCERNING THE TABLES BELOW A quick explanation of how the tables below should be read.... First off, for the sake of keeping the tables clean and less "cluttered" the values are broken down into "k" (thousand) and "m" (million). anywhere you see those letters, substitude the term. So if the number is "12.34k" read it as 12.34 Thousand, or 12,340. Another point worth mentioning...the MinInt stats listed below in the tables, are referring to the int score WITH the bonuses from all of your unit's evilities. In other words, if you can make your character reach that int value, you can clear the map if you reduce enemy's Res stats by 50% via Charm/Res Break/Vocal Mind Control. Diff - The number of stars indicates how much you have increased the difficulty in the Cheat Shop. Default is 0 stars. Some people may read the Cheat Shop differently than I do. So those of you that go by the numerical value that is displayed instead of the number of stars...here's some simple math for you! Take your number value, divide it by 100, then subtract 1. That's how many stars your playing on...or you can just count the golden shiny things to the right of your number! :P MinInt - Minimum Intelligence Stat Required. This is roughly the lowest value of int that your character can have, and still manage to injure the enemies. Bear in mind, when I say "minimum" I mean MINIMUM. This value can range from 5 damage up to a few thousand. and a few thousand damage against an enemy with 15 million or higher hp, means it's not really effective to farm on these particular enemies...I would personally suggest dropping down a rank. This value is calculated assuming you are fully buffed up, and you have lowered the enemy's res stat by 50%. RecInt - Recommended Intelligence Stat. This is the amount of Int that I personally suggest for this particular difficulty. This should translate to ROUGHLY 10% of the enemy's hp, and with absorbtion evility, that means ~11 turns to clear the stage. This is the int required WITHOUT reducing enemy stats. Meaning that you COULD do this at a lower int value. I personally don't like having to nerf the enemy just to attack. Stats - In case your not aware, when you kill a mob in Land of Carnage mode, you gain ~1% of their stats. The Stat cells on the table are referring to the amount of that particular stat that your unit will gain for clearing the entire map. Let us start with Land of Carnage Values! I would like to go ahead and let folks know that I don't mind if you wish to use this information, I just ask that you give a hat tip towards Googen and myself. Googen sped me along with the Rasetsu information, which allowed me to focus on the LoC part with more detail, and if it weren't for him, I would never have put this together to post up on GameFAQs for all of you to utilize. So if you find this information helpful, thank Googen for encouraging me to put both of our research together and creating a complete table to share with you. Again, feel free to use this, but give credit to Googen and myself please. Compiling the data for this was a multi-day task to complete (bout 5 days play time, split between 2 weeks due to college), and that's without taking into consideration all of the work of putting it into notepad with details written out for you folks to make sense of the mess of numbers. If you have any questions or recommendations, please fire me off an email at Unholybones@yahoo.com I'm not always the best at checking and answering my emails, but I will get back to you asap. I just ask that under subject you put the following: "DD2 Stat Farm GameFAQ" so that I know where your contacting me from and what your messaging me concerning. Failure to do this runs a very high chance of your message getting tossed into my spam folder and deleted. Thank you for reading and I hope this guide is of some use to you! :D
