Tales of Grace F Boss Strategy Guide by pokemon_45_79_1 Version 1.14 Very Important Spoiler Alert This guide may contain plot spoilers and names of bosses so read at your own risk. Welcome to my Tales of Grace F boss strategy guide, this guide will focus on all boss battles, optional boss battles, and scripted fights, which are battles that take place doing the story outside major boss fights while having fun at the same time, I will document all boss fights and optional boss fights and scripted fights within the main story and the Future Arc of this game as well. Now I am making this guide to work for all difficulties no matter what difficulty you are playing this guide will work for you Now the battle system in this game is pretty much the same if you played the Star Ocean series, then this battle system should be very familiar to you, if you haven't then be aware that battles happen in real time that means that you are open to damage by the enemy at any time and you are in danger until you pass the battle if you are not paying attention to whats happening. Now you have a party of four in battle but you can have no more then 4 party members on your battle team at any time. In this guide I will also try to document bosses, optional bosses and scripted fights HP and also I will document what all bosses, optional bosses and scripted fights drop in items and equipment. Also keep in mind when reading this guide I am playing on Normal but this guide will work on all difficulties, just HP on bosses may be slightly higher on higher difficulties. Also as I move up difficulties I will document each difficulty Boss and Scripted Battle HP Now this battle system also has a time for how long it takes to win a battle. Also there's trophies in this game for defeating most bosses within 1 minute or less, which should be easy if you are prepared before hand, now you can combo your attacks along with linking your party memebers attacks for major hit combos, those come out do to your A arte and B arte that you equip. I will also put what should be the recommended lvl, now you can be higher or lower then it, its better to be high as you don't want to give the bosses any more advantages then they have. This guide will work with any team you create but you may have to change your strategy accordingly to your team. I can not beat the bosses and scripted battles and optional battles for you, but I can arm you with the information and different angles to beat them, I hope you can use my strategy as a templete for your own one, my strategy may not be the best but it should tell you what you need to know. Also keep an open mind when looking at this guide as my strategy may be different then others out there. Boss Fight against (3x) Little Queens at Fodra Lastalia Shaft (recommended lvl 87-88) Boss (3x) Little Queens Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Easy: 11462 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Easy: 18216 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Easy: 20275 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Normal: 14328 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Normal: 22770 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Normal: 25344 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Moderate: 17910 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Moderate: 28462 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Moderate: 31680 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Hard: 25790 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Hard: 40986 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Hard: 45619 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Evil: 34387 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Evil: 54648 Boss (3x) Little Queens HP Evil: 60825 Boss (3x) Little Queens Item/Equipment Drop: n/a In this boss fight you are fighning three little queens, now two are the same as you fought before in previous areas, like at the beginning of the Lastalia, so same strategy applies to these two as they use the same attacks, so be ready, now a new version comes into play that can shoot projectile at you so be ready as they could interfere with your combos, watch out for any spells as well this one cast, stop them from casting them, they all do physical in the kicking variety that you are use too so be ready, all 3 have so little HP they should go down quick at this stage, remember more will come as you defeat the first 3 in waves of 2, so just keep killing them, watch out for that mystic arte if it is used, as it does moderate damage to everyone on the field, just try to outlast them, overall a moderate fight to win. Boss Fight against the Fodra Queen at Fodra Core (recommended lvl 89) Boss Fodra Queen Boss Fodra Queen HP Easy: 236544 Boss Fodra Queen HP Normal: 295680 Boss Fodra Queen HP Moderate: 369600 Boss Fodra Queen HP Hard: 532224 Boss Fodra Queen HP Evil: 709632 Boss Fodra Queen Item/Equipment Drops: n/a In this final boss fight of the Future Arc you are fightning the fodra queen, now throw what you got into this fight, especially on higher difficulties, now she will begin on a flower which will keep her out of most of your attacks so use what you can, about 25% of her HP is gone she will switch to using a sword, the change again once 25% HP is gone, she uses various attacks, and spells at the start, she has many weak spots on her mostly status change ones so exploit them, she has to get close to you to attack you , when she changes styles of attack her weakness change as well, so continue to exploit them, her laser attacks cover a good range around her and can put you in a status change so cure it, as you bring down her HP she begins to use special skills in eleth mode so make sure to counter them with special controls, if you can pull off an eleth break late in the fight use your lvl 3 then if you have accel mode use that as well to pile on the damage if done right you should kill her if not be prepared to counter her artes, use what you want it can get tough when she is at low HP, but it can be done, also hope her mystic arte isnt Dual the Sol, she will use other mystic artes however only in eleth mode which means be ready to keep your HP high if you can't counter it, overall a very hard battle to win. That is it for the Future Arc part of Tales of Grace F I hope you find my strategies useful remember use what I put as a templete for your own, also keep an open mind when reading this guide. Have fun you are in for a challange in the Future Arc. Optional Boss or Extra Bosses Section, this section will focus on bosses I missed previously along with other bosses, remember some can be done doing the main adult arc, some doing the future arc, if you end up missing a boss or have trouble with one thats optional then look down in this area. Now on with the Optional Boss Section. Boss Fight against the Rockgagong at Strahta Desert Cliff (recommended lvl n/a) Boss Rockgagong Boss Rockgagong HP Easy: 320000 Boss Rockgagong HP Normal: 400000 Boss Rockgagong HP Moderate: 500000 Boss Rockgagong HP Hard: 720000 Boss Rockgagong HP Evil: 960000 Rockgagong Item/Equipment Drop: Mystery Tonic G, Book of Frugality Trophy: Defeat the Rockgagong. In this boss fight you are fightning a Rockgagong, now despite the amount of HP on easy and lvl this battle is not that hard, it uses four different moves on you, first is a swipe claw attack that does close to 5000-8000 damage then it has a sand tornado attack which follows a straight line and does moderate to heavy damage, and a couple other moves that do heavy damage, I put recommended lvl n/a because you can beat him at any time, also you have that time limit of 20 minutes to beat it, which may not sound like a lot, but can be done, it is slow and is very weak to A artes so take advantage of weak spots, as its pretty easy to expose all of them, this battle is not that hard as long as you have 1 or 2 healers that can revive if need be or heal HP so you don't have to rely on healing items to win also remember you can run away if need be, it is best to do it way later when you can actually do a lot of good damage, also remember you don't have your eleth guage and you can't use your accel special ability in the fight, its stats are high, most likely beat it in a NG+, also don't forget to steal the fur as it is key for an inn request later on, also you will get a trophy for beating it, overall a easy to difficult fight to win depending on when you do it. Also it can eat a party memeber or two when it lunges taking them out of the fight for good and you can not revive them, so it does make it harder. Scripted Boss Fight against Hubert on Strahta North Part of the Desert (recommended lvl 55-56) Boss Hubert Boss Hubert HP Easy: 3840 Boss Hubert HP Evil: 11520 Hubert Item/Equipment Drop: n/a In this scripted boss fight you are fightning Hubert now if you have used him before this fight then you should know what to expect, he will use A and B artes throughout the fight so be ready he is a challange since his attacks do more damage, it also depends on what you have him equip with as well as he will take that into this battle, this battle could give you a challange so stay on your toes and keep an eye on your HP heal if need be, remember as in the other fights it is just asbel so plan for that, he does have a couple of weak spots so exploit those, try to remember to put weak stuff on him to make the battle easier, overall a moderatly hard fight to win. Well that is all the optional bosses you can fight also the end of this guide all bosses have been documented, and as I said in my closing statement of the main arc keep an open mind when reading this guide, make your own strategy based off what I put, remember to have fun with this game.
