-- Tales Of Legendia -- -- Rare Monster List -- -- By Ken "Kouli/Ice" Zhao (kenzhao99@yahoo.com) -- -- Version 0.1 -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Rare Monster List is based on the Japanese version of "Tales Of Legendia" that is released on August 25th, 2005. The game itself is made by MelFes(Namco) and published by Namco. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically, the game's got lots of hidden monsters that appear only in the 2nd part of the game(Character Quest). You need the Sorcerer Scanner(which you will obtain automatically in Character Quest) in order to find them. Just get to the specific location and press L2 to scan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starting up, go to speak with Kazu. Head to the western entrance of Werites Beacon(the Fallingwater side). At that area, there are the usual Sign(Town Map) and the Save Point. Kazu's House is the near right house from the Sign and the Save Point. Within, Kazu will recognize that you have some Aifread's Flag(which you should have some) and eventually, speak to him again for hints of the Rare Monsters' locations. 1/ Brick Turtle - Great Hollow, after the third elevator, lower right corner 2/ Siren - Near The Underground Lake, where GranGate was 3/ Meromero Bed, Meromero - Man Eating Ruins, where Mimic Bed was 4/ Heater Table - Crystal Forest, turn left at the first intersection, just a bit pass the 2nd Chaotic Zone 5/ Doggy - Hidden Fortress, 2nd last area, just a bit pass the northern Chaotic Zone 6/ Quox - Earth Monument, area with the transparent beds. There is one section with 2 beds. Just a bit south of them 7/ Shrimp-Tenpura AnglerFish - Misty Mountains, 3rd area(with the first save point). Just left of that rock 8/ BuBu - Old Mofumofu Village(Secret Passage), go right to go down. Just by that northern pile of machines After you gotten the above 8, Kazu will reward you the Aifread Hat and Moses gets the "Pirate" Title. However, there will be no more hints from him. So just follow the below to find the rest. I don't think you have to find them in my order. 9/ Wonder Bread Lizard - Fallingwater, where you first met Mimmy Bread 10/ Rare Egg Bear - Waterways, the hidden room where Fenimorl, Walter and Shirley were hiding 11/ Atrascabut Hopper - Forest Of No Return, 3rd area after the first Save Point area. There is a Chaotic Zone and water after that. Near NW of that water 12/ Water Melon Element, Suikawa Lizard - The Grags(Take the duct to "Opposite Shore Of The Inland Sea" then go left on the World Map), 3rd area, western part after a Chaotic Zone. It's also to the NW of the healing and save points 13/ Bomb Element - Bandits' Lair, B1F Second Area, NW area after some Chaotic Zone 14/ Nameko, Maitake - Secret Passage, 2nd area within the passsage, just pass the near Chaotic Zone 15/ White Nekomata - Ruins Of Frozen Light. Within, take the north path to the 2nd area. At the 2nd area, head left to come to another intersection, go south. Before the Crystal Wall 16/ Dried Shark - Altar Of The Sea. Within, at the first area, go to most NW. Just pass that Chaotic Zone 17/ Guruules Scissors, Bacura - Mirage Palace. All the way to the area with the Duct(Before Puzzle Booth), and there should be a 4-way. Take the most right one. At the end of that path 18/ Red Oni, Blue Oni - Mirage Palace. 3rd area after the Duct area. This is the area that has the healing and save point. NW section 19/ PartyPanda-Kun - Wings Of Light. The area with the Duct(Before Puzzle Booth). Upper right area got 4 Chaotic Zones, 2 at north and 2 at south. Pass the southern 2 As you might notice, after defeating some Rare Monster, they just drop odd but unique Equipment. Some characters also get new Titles. So, there are at least a bit more stuff than just the Aifread Hat and the "Pirate" Title for Moses. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area before the Graveyard, there is this big house. Head in and go left to speak with Keler. With the Sorcerer Scanner, you can help him out to find the Blue Sephira. Similar to Kazu above, he will also give you hints. 1/ Oni Kitchen Knife - Geoglyph Area. Just a bit south of the slates 2/ Turquoise - Man Eating Ruins. Last area. Just a bit north of where Grune woke up 3/ Resume Ring - Village Of The Perines. Within Shirley's Room. Just a bit NE of the bed 4/ Elven Boots - Forest Of No Return. The former camp area for the Bandits. Middle crator 5/ Maaboo Bread(Recipe) - Misty Mountains. Last area. Left of that big rock/dead end 6/ Blue Sephira - Secret Passage. Area after the Save Point area. The eastern end After, return to the house with Keler for a scene. You will get Blue Sephira back in the end.
