It shows the city name, the specialty of that city, and what extra facilities it gains when it reaches Medium, Large and Extra Large respectively. To upgrade a city, you must first max out it's Tech. At which point you can go to the Gate, and there will be an option to increase it's scale. The cost for each increase is 5,000 gold to Medium, 10,000 gold to Large and finally 50,000 gold to increase to Extra Large. Each increase will add on another facility. As well as increase what the max you can raise Farm/Trade/etc to are. Also, larger cities will be able to hold more units. The facilities are as follows: Bazaar: Buy and sell items Exchange: Allows you to gamble 1,000 gold to get more gold or items. This is mainly important when you're doing a Campaign and planning to conquer a region. As well, each region speciliazes in specific types of quests, for which you'll receive XP towards the various skills. Normally, you can find the info for the "next" place to visit, by Observing at the tavern. This is not always the closest location however. So this list may help you cut some time off your trip. Chang An, Grave of the First Emperor "So this is the grave of the first emperor? This must have taken years to complete." Ji, Famous Peach Garden "This is the famous peach garden? It's very beautiful." Jiang Ling, Yu Quan Temple "So this is Yu Quan Temple? A truly breathtaking place." Jiang Xia, Huang He Tower "The view of the river from here is excellent. I'm glad I came here to Huang He Tower!" Luo Yang, White Horse Temple "This is White Horse Temple, the first temple ever built... Incredible." Wu, Gan Lu Temple "So that temple on the cliff over there is Gan Lu Temple? Words cannot describe its beauty." Xiao Pei, Confucius Temple "This is the temple dedicated to Confucius? I am truly impressed when I think of his life." Once Completed "Well, it looks like I've seen them all!" ******* * X05 * ******* SEVEN CAPITALS One of the quests will ask you to visit the seven capitals of the regions. Chang An "So this is where the first Emperor built his dynasty. Someday, I, too, wish to build my own!" Chen Liu "The city that the great Xin Ling Jun loved back during the Warring States was somewhere around here, then." Ji "This is the land of Yue Yi, the great warrior of Yan who led his small country to defeat Qi. He is an inspiration to all who fight today." Jiang Ling "We must never repeat the mistake of the land of Chu, where corruption led to the exile of its most loyal minister, Quan Yu." Ping Yuan "Standing here in the land of Meng Chang Jun inspires me to be faithful to my fellow man and earn the respect of others just as he did." Xu Chang "Once upon a time, Zhang Liang poured his whole heart into building the Han Dynasty here. There is much to be learned from his determination." Ye "So, this where King Wuling first taught his men to ride... To think there was a time before men rode horses!" Once Completed "So this is the last one. I think I understand our ancestors a little better now." ******* * X06 * ******* SACRED MOUNTAIN PILGRIMAGE You will need to visit all 5 Sacred Mountains. These are the buildable mounds that you will find between cities on which you can builds camps and mazes. Mt. Heng (N), between Jin Yang and Ji. "There are two mountains named Heng... They say this one was discovered by the old emperor Shun." Mt. Heng (S), between Chang Sha, Gui Yang, and Ling Ling "So this is one of the two mountains named Heng. This one is said to be the most beautiful of the five sacred mountains. I surely can't disagree!" Mt. Hua, between Chang An, Tong Gate, and Wu Gate "So this is Mt. Hua? I've never seen a mountain as steep as this." Mt. Song, between Wan and Xu Chang "So this is Mt. Song, the mountain of seventy-two ridges. I'm overwhelmed." Mt. Tai, between Bei Hei and Pui Yang, across the river from Ping Yuan. "So this is Mt. Tai? What exquisite beauty." Upon standing on the last mountain... As you stood upon the mountain's summit, you saw a sudden flash of light and the figure of a man appeared. Wizard "Ho ho ho, Master/Mistress (character's name).
