She has greatly improved since DW3. She is the character that has changed the most in this game. She was my second character ever (next to Fu Xi.) So here I am writing of should I say typing this FAQ. --------- 2.Updates --------- 4/8 1.0-Started to write FAQ I'll fix errors etc. as soon as possible. 4/17 1.1- Added a bunch of things. 4/26 1.2- Fixed name of creditor --------------------- 3.History of Zhu Rong --------------------- Lifespan-Unknown Don't know much but... I'll try to tell as much as I can. Well she was the wife of Meng Huo, King of Nanman, which made her Queen (don't know if they had queens or not.) She is the only women in the Three Kingdoms who actully fought. She helped in Meng Huo in his Shu Campaign. During Zhuge Liang's northern campaign Zhu Rong defeated Wang Ping in a duel. She managed to captured Ma Zhong and Zhang Yi. But was captured by Ma Dai. She also had little but sharp throwing knifes (that's what she throws using her musou.) She was called the Goddess of Fire. It is not known when she died or when she was born. Also her brother was Dailai Dongzhu. (I like saying that name!) Here's what the game bio says: The wife of Meng Huo, King of Nanman. She is a descendent of the legendary God of Fire, Zhu Rong. Very strong and skilled in the martial arts, her trademark move is a deadly leaping slash. Stepping in for her husband, she managed to capture Ma Zhong and Zhang Yi, and in return was captured by Wei Yan and Ma Dai. A hostage exchange ensued, with both parties returning safley. ----------------------- 4.Why should I use her? ----------------------- She has changed a hole bunch since DW3. And for the better. She is three times better. New moves, look, and attitude. If you have not tried her out before than do it. If you play as Zhu Rong and have DW3 go and play as her and you'll see how much she has changed. Overall she is a great crowd clearer. Has nice stats and good reach. If you have not tryed her than go and try her now! --------------- 5.Unlocking her --------------- DW4: You have to unlock the Nanman musou mode to get her. (Beat Shu and Wu nanman campaign in musou mode.) DW4:XL Automatically unlocked YAHHHHHHHH! -------- 6.Combos -------- T- Does this break dancing move on the enemies. Only use this one on one unless your super strong. I don't use this move much only on duels. Probably because I like it. ST- Throw bommarang foward throwing enemies into the air. Better than most ST's. It has a great range. SST- Throws bommarang a long distance foward 4 times. It's a great move but don't use it in crowds. SSST- Throws bommarang around herself. It spins around her twice, perfect for those stupid peons who walk up too you while your in the middle of using it. This is her best crowd clearing move. I use this a lot! SSSST- Hits them up then hits them back down... nothing special. SSSSST- Throws her bommarang to the ground just a little in front of her making a little tornado. Can hit enemies from behind... this is a great move for when you are dueling or facing friends... he he they won't know what hit them. I use this move a lot as well. Musou- Stands still and throws her knifes foward multiple times. Perfect for when you are far away and the enemies are not coming close to you. So you can charge your musou and shoot from a safe distance. True Musou- Adds a couple of spins with the knifes (a better crowd clearer than normal musou.) Horse attack- Basic back and forth slashes... Horse charge- Spins bommarang around the horse. Great to get those stupid peons away from your horse. Horse musou- The bommarang spins around the horse multiple times until your musou runs out. A usful musou if your trying to get away from a large crowd. ---------- 7.Costumes ---------- 1.Original costume at the beggining. 2.Costume turns white and brown also she turns black. It was so scary to see her like that. 3.Same as costume number one but her hair it in a ponytail with a little stick thing in her hair to hold the ponytail. She also doesn't have her feathers in her hair. Her featers are on the top of her boot. 4.Costume two and three combined. 5.Her DW3 costume. 6.THIS IS SCARY! It's her DW3 costume only she has brown hair her skin turns white. Also the costume color changes alot. This is one of the scariest costume for anyone in this game. It doesn't even look like her. What was Koei thinking?! --------- 8.Weapons --------- Lv.10 Weapon Inferno Attack +53 The battle of Xu Chang You must be playing DW4 for this to work. You must do the following: 1.Defeat Man Chong, Cao Hong, Xiahou Dun, and Cao Zhang in any order. 2.You also must protect the seige ramp. It not that the enemies are hard it is the time. You have got to move fast. But don't equip Red Hare since the enemies might knock you off. So equip Shadow Runner. Lv.11 Weapon Fire Goddess Attack+60 Zhu Rong's Legend Stage You must rescue Meng Huo without letting any of the guards see you. Here is a step by step way to get it. 1. Defeat Wang Ping and his scout 2. Go through all the way to the top right camp without letting them spot you. Then approch the gate captain on the top and you should have it. Now there is a 3 to 4 min. time limit can't say which just hurry. 3. Save after you get the weapon Zhuge is really hard! I just enentually had to use my musou from a far distance to kill all his bodyguards so we could go one on one. Here's a step by step way to avoid the guards: Ok, as soon as the level starts go forward and kill Wang Ping and the messenger. If you do not kill Wang Ping he will stalk you throughout the level. Move to the east and wait when it says a guard is patrolling. Wait for him to go past you heading south and run forward and hug the east wall. The next guard will begin to patrol. Wait for him to head near the far east gate and then go forward to trigger the next patrol. Wait for him to past you heading west and then go into his patrolling area heading east. The next guard will begin to patrol before you hit the wall. When you get close to the wall, the final guard will patrol north to south. Next part is luck mostly. Head north (guard should have gone far enough west) and hug the east wall. Jump over the fence if you need to. Hopefully you will not get caught. Once you get past the final guard, your home free to kill Zhuge Liang. ^^^^^Big thanks to JoshTigerHeart for the info ------------------- 9.Recommended items ------------------- 1.Tiger Amulet 2.Tortoise Amulet 3.Peacock Urn 4.Dragon Amulet (to me these are the 4 things that you must need) 5.Wind Scroll After you get her 11th weapon equip anything you want in replace of the tiger amulet. I perfer secret of the orbs. --------------- 10.Legend stage --------------- Your mission is to defeat Zhuge Liang and rescue Meng Huo. The number of enemies depend on how many messengers you let go. The officers that appear are: Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, and Wei Yan. Ok first start by taking out Wang Ping and his messenger. Then either sneed into the camp and take out Zhuge or let the enemies spot you and take them on. Your choice but they drop nothing but attack to let you know. Really this is a very short level. Here is a couple of different thing that can happen: There are also 3 different things that can happen when you reach Zhuge Liang. If you didn't get caught and no messengers got through... -You will catch him off guard and gate will not spawn troops. If you get caught but no messengers reach Zhuge Liang... -A soldier on your team (what? where?) will inform you of an ambush which will spring immediately. Zhuge Liang will appear south of the north gate house a little ways with a decent size force. I'm not certain of this method. It has only happened to me once before. If a messenger reaches Zhuge Liang... -Both of his officers will pursue you farther. Also, the gate will spawn some troops, but not many. Zhuge Liang also seems to get a bit stronger. ^^^^^Thanks to JoshTigerHeart for the info --------------- 11.E-mailing me --------------- Don't send me confusing or stupid remarks. Send nice things.
