Because nobody hasn't and I find that very dissapointing... he is a very good and balanced character. --------- 3.History --------- Lifespan: -202 An important polictian during the Yellow Turban Rebelion. He camed from the estemed Yuan family (they were really estemed.) He was the leader of the Anti-Dong Zhuo coalition. After the coalition broke up he attack Gongsun Zan (The Battle of Bai Ma) and easily defeated him. And eventually defeated all the other forces in the north and became the most powerful force. But opposing him was Cao Cao(pronounced Tsow Tsow) who had all of the central plains under his control. Then came the famous battle of Guan Du which Yuan Shao suffered a humiliating defeat because of his supplies being burned. He eventully died while planning a counter-attack against Cao Cao. (He died from all the stress). Eventually the heir Yuan Shang took over but Yuan Tan being the oldest split away from him being angry that Yuan Shang was the youngest and he was the oldest. This sealed the Yuan's fate. Eventually Cao Cao took over all of the Yuan's land, both Shang's and Tan's. Cowerdly he used ploy's during his caimpaign against them to eventually kill all three brothers, in fear of them coming back... -------------------- 4.Why use Yuan Shao? -------------------- Well, he is a well balanced fighter nice combos and everything. Just try him if you havn't, you'll see what I mean. --------------- 5.Pros and Cons --------------- Pros: 1. good balanced stats 2. good one on one duelst 3. very good crowd clearer Cons: can't think of any e-mail me if you have one. ---------- 6.Costumes ---------- 1. His original at the beginning. Mostly gold. 2. Same as the first only it's pink and white... 3. Same color as the first one only he has a weird hat on. 4. Same color as the second one only he has the hat on. 5. His DW3 costume. 6. His alternant costume from DW3:XL. -------- 7.Combos -------- T: Slides under enemy head-first (kinda like Diao Chan) A good move but hard to get used to (the way he does it) ST: Jumps up hit enemies in air. I use this move every so often... nothing to special about it... SST: Slashes diangonly 6 times like Liu Bei's and Sun Jian's etc. and finishes by hitting them on the top then spinning down to the bottom. I use this move a lot it's much better than move of the swordsmen who C3 is like that. SSST: Swings sword foward knocking enemies back. This is a very effective crowd clearer. I use this a lot as well. SSSST: Hits enemies up then hits them back down. There is something different about this one though. He hits them down when they are low to the ground so you have a chance of hitting other enemies on the ground as well. SSSSST: Swings left making energy wave. SUPER good crowd clearer. Usful when you have a powerful orb. I use this move the most. musou: Swings sword diagonally back and forth. Much better than it looks. Good combo and damage. true musou: Adds a couple of extra swings and adds fire element. Don't like it no good combo or damage. horse attack: Back and forth slashes but he is really good at it very powerful. horse charge: Basic; one strike on each side. Like I said before he really powerful on the horse. horse musou: Don't use this unless your trying to get away from a large crowd. I feel that only Zhou Tai's and Ma Chao's horse musou are the only ones that are worth using. --------- 8.Weapons --------- Lv.10 Weapon Sword of Kings Attack: +53 Stage: Guan Du Must be on DW4 All you have to do is protect the ram and break down the walls of Guan Du Castle. The rams will appear when you get close to the castle. Have some allies when you get down there. It'll be to hard to defend the ram all by your lonesome... Lv.11 Weapon Majesty Attack: +60 (Suprise!) Stage: Yuan Shao's Legend Stage Here is what you have to do: 1. Defeat all officers 2. Not let your prestage or whatever it's called drop twice. 3. Get 100 K.O.s if prestage doesn't drop. 200 if it drops that one time. It sounds easy doesn't it? Well it is hard if you don't equip the ice orb. This level makes it seem like it is on normal if you have the ice orb equipped. Also have the secret of the orbs equipped. That'll help you freaze those enemies better. Things that make your prestage drop are: enemies taunting you if you don't go over there to fight them, your allies getting beat up and surrounded by enemies, the Bai Ma Calvary taunting you as well. Note: An easy but cheap way to defeat Gongsun Zan. Get a distance away from him so you can see him but he won't attack you. Then just shoot all the arrow you have at him until you run out. Charge your musou if it isn't already filled. Then go right next to Gongsun and use your musou that should kill him or he'll be barley alive. That's what I did and it worked only I didn't charge my musou which wasn't smart, but either way I defeated him. -------------- 9.Legend Stage -------------- Battle of Jie Qiao Map: He Fei but renamed Battle of Jie Qiao Units: Allies: 1.You 2.Tian Feng 3.Zhang He Enemies: 1.Yan Gang 2.Zhao Yun 3.Zhang Fei 4.Guan Yu 5.Liu Bei 6.Gongsun Zan First there are millions of white horses around you and they charge right at you at the beggining. Kill all of them. During or after you kill all the horsemen Yan Gang should appear in the south. Go and defeat him. Then Zhao Yun should appear, (on normal he challenges you to a duel) either way defeat him. Then more of the Bai Ma cavalry should appear up north. Go kill all of them. Then Zhang Fei will appear in the northwest. Go defeat him. Then Guan Yu will appear just south of the bridge. Go defeat him. Then Liu Bei will appear in the northeast section. Go defeat him. The three brothers (on normal) will sometimes challenge you to a duel. It is completly random. After that Gongsun Zan will appear with a lot of troops. And your stongholds are all destroyed. Not only that but Gongsun gets to ride SHADOW RUNNER! Even though he didn't own shadow, I guess it is trying to show his talent with horses(riding them etc.) Cao Cao actually owned shadow runner. Anyway he is tuff no matter what diffuculty. To defeat him eaisly go and look at the 11th weapon info I put up there. After you defeat Gongsun you win!!!!!!! ----------------------------- 10.What item you should equip ----------------------------- 1.Peacock urn- Living = more killing time 2.Tiger amulet- more attack = more killing 3.Dragon amulet- more musou = more killing 3a.(Replace after getting the 11th weapon) Secret of the orbs- I can't think of a phrase... 4.Tortoise amulet- more defense = more killing time 5.Wind Scroll- more reach = killing big groups faster These are what I suggest.
