He first joined Wei, but on Zhuge Liang's first Northern Campaign he was caught in Zhuge Liang's ploy and so Jiang Wei joined Shu. When Zhuge Liang died at Wu Zhang Plains Jiang Wei helped in setting up the statue of Zhuge Liang to trick Sima Yi to thinking he was still alive. Zhuge Liang left all his stragety books to Jiang Wei so, Jiang Wei studied very hard on each one of them. A little after Wu Zhang Plains Jaing Wei vocuses all attention on Wei. And begins his own Norther Campaign. He had about ten attacks on Wei winning about half his battles. Then came the final battle between Shu and Wei. In the battle they were fastly out numbered and in the middle of battle they lose Zhuge Zhan and Zhuge Jing. Jiang Wei fought really hard and virious and was managing to hold the troops off. But Liu Chan surrendered like a cowered. ( Zhao Yun shouldn't of saved him back then. I don't like Liu Chan.) So Zhong Hui brings in Jiang Wei since they are close freinds. While Liu Chan slept in a different room so they could sign the surrending papers the next day. Well when word got out that Zhong Hui was helping Jiang Wei, Deng Ai did not like this and got mad at him. Zhong Hui, enraged planned to rebel, but no troops would follow him. So in the middle of the night some of the Wei soldiers, along with Deng Ai, assasinated Zhong Hui and surrounded Jiang Wei. He fought off the guys pretty well until he had major chest pains and he stutterd a little bitt and kept fighting until the pain came back and he fell to the floor and forced himself up and kept fighting and then the pain came back again and fell to the floor. Then Jiang Wei commited suicide, saying that he failed, by slicing his throat. Also after they killed Jaing Wei they also killed his wife and daughters. He was 62. This is taken from the game: An officer of Shu. He once belonged to Wei but was caught in a ploy by Zhuge Liang, who had come to conquer the north, and joined Shu. Filled with admiration for Zhuge Liang, he was even treated as a successor and was entrusted with Zhuge Liang's stragety books. After his mentor's death he vowed to fullfill Zhuge Liang's ambition and continued the attacks against the north. ----------------------- 3.Why should I use him? ----------------------- Well, he has an awsome musou and you can get good combos with it and it's fun to use. He has a nice smooth combo. If you like Ma Chao like me you'll probably like Jiang Wei since their combos are a little similar. He is a fun and balanced character. I just think people are taking him for granted. He is much better than some people think. --------------- 4.Pros and Cons --------------- Pros: 1. His musou- everything about it; it's cool, get good combos with it, and it's fun to use. 2. Not slow 3. Fun to use 4. 10th and 11th weapon is cool Cons: 1. His SSSSST isn't that good only if want to attack enemies from far away. --------------- 5.Unlocking him --------------- His is automatically unlocked on DW4:XL Okay... to unlock him in DW4 you have to go to the secret stage of Tian Shui. In the battle you must follow all of Zhuge Liang's instuctions to get him. After you defeat his two sub-officers Zhuge Liang should try and meet up with him and get a cutscene where he gets Jiang Wei to defect to his side. (It's eaisier if you're Zhuge Liang.) Don't know how to unlock Tian Shui well TOO BAD!!!!!!! Just kidding no need to cry...geesh! Okay to unlock Tian Shui first you start a Shu Musou mode fo through it normally until Chi Bi comes up. Go directly to Chi Bi. Let Zhuge Liang be routed ( if it's on easy you might want it to change it to normal because I think Zhuge Liang would eaisily defeat all those enemies) then head straight to Cao Cao and kill him before Huang Gai does the fire attack. The fire attack will awalys comence wether the wind is blowing or not. ---------- 6.Costumes ---------- I think he has funky but cool clothes. 1. His initial clothing at the beginning. 2. His clothes are a litter color and his hair is a blackish witish color 3. Same as costume #1 but he has these cool dragon head gauntlent things on. 4. Same as costume #2 but he has those dragon gauntlent things on. 5. His DW3 costume. 6. His DW3 costume except its yellow and his hair is black (what's the point of making that costume?????) -------- 7.Combos -------- T- Uses those energy ball things ST- Hits them up in the air kinda like Ma Chao but Jiang Wei uses one hand to do it. SST- Hit upwards with his spear back and forth left side uses his blade then swings his tident right making everyone dizzy. SSST- Steps back then steps foward throwing his trident out with the pole part being diagonal and hits all the enemies back. One of my favoritest moves! SSSST- Throws enemies into air hits them back down. He has a better reach with this than most characters do. I think it's a fun move to use. SSSSST- Makes one of those little slice wave things. I use this move the least. Horse attack- Basic back and forth slashes. Horse charge attack- More faster and power slashes only attacks one on each side. Horse Musou- More faster and powerful strikes. Musou- A great musou my favorotist in the game. True musou- He adds two more final attack spins. ------------- 8.Weapon Info ------------- Level 10 weapon Blink Stage: Tian Shui (MUST BE DONE IN MUSOU MODE ONLY!!!!!!!) Make sure your playing DW4! First you must trigger the ambush parties in the north castle. To do this you must defeat the guard captians of each side and enter the castle. You can't just enter from one side and go to the other side by going through the castle. You must enter each side seperatly, so I would equip some kind of sattle. Then after that you must defeat Cao Ren's two sub-officers. Then Cao Ren should retreat. Then trigger the ambushes in the other castle the same way you did with the first. After that all you have to do is defeat the last three officers in the castle then you should have the weapon. Level 11 weapon Prodigal Stage: Jian Ge (Jiang Wei's legend mode) Make sure your playing DW4:XL! Here are the conditions you have to meet: 1. Defeat all officers but 1 (you must defeat Zhong Hui) 2. Don't let Liu Chan get to a strong hold (obviously) And that's pretty much it but it's much harder than you think because you have to do this fast and there's a bunch of enemies that suround you since you have to go straight to the officers since they are tough to beat. So I had my cousin help me with this so he stayed up near the gates to keep Liu Chan up there but there were so many enemies around him that Liu Chan eventually got out when there was about 6 minutes left and I just had defeated Xu Zhu and Xu Huang. This was a major problam through the rest of the level. And we barly won. We had six seconds left and Liu Chan was only about six feet away so I saved and we tried to defeat the gate captain but lost then we got lucky on the second time my cousin hit the gate captain up and luckly I was just up in the air from hitting a normal soldier up in the air and hit the gate captain in the air and killed him (with the vorpal orb). So we were lucky. I left Cao Ren alive also two player trick is recommended it would be very hard without it. Weapon stats: Peacock Urn Lv.14, Wing Boots Lv.20, Horned Helm Lv.14, and Herbal Remendy Lv.17 ----------------------------- 9.What items you should equip ----------------------------- Saddle: Saddow Runner or Red Hare it's your choice because they are both good but I equip Shadow Runner. Orb: Vorpal or lightning which ever you prefer but I choose vorpal Items: Peacock Urn: Jiang Wei needs it a little. Tiger Amulet: It's attack why wouldn't you want to equip it! Dragon Amulet: His musou is unstopoble with this! Tortoise Amulet: Do you want to live longer or not? SSS: It's nice to get all those items from those troops. (Equip this after you get his level 11 weapon.) Wind Scroll: His musou becomes "God Like". -------------------------- 10.Jiang Wei's Legend Mode -------------------------- Name: Jian Ge All you have to do is keep Liu Chan from surrendering during the 10 minute time period. You don't have to worry about killing the officers but it's something to do. Also you can get a cutscene where he talks to his friend Zhong Hui about Zhong Hui trying to get him to surrender and Jiang Wei won't.(I like that cutscene.) If it's on normal it's pretty boring because you kill all the enemies to fast and you still have about 4 or 5 minutes left and you just have to keep killing the gate captains over and over; it gets really boring.
