* 32/41 characters play on Shin Sangoku Musou 2 Original Stages to unlock
their 5th weapons.
* 9/41 characters play on Shin Sangoku Musou 2 Moushouden Stages to unlock
their 5th weapons. These characters are marked (猛将伝 Moushouden).

Japanese names, not the English names as they might/will appear in any other

Muni Comment = These back-up troops will appear at the top right area of the
map. I suggest heading for 呂蒙 Lu Meng first because his appearance within
the ally camp really endangers 貂蝉 Diao Chan, so getting rid of him first
is recommended.

Method = Prevent Stone Toss Event by defeating ホウ統 Pang Tong, with 樊稠
Fan Chou alive, ally back-up troops appear, Precious Item Report.
Muni Comment = Preventing the Stone Toss Event is not actually a
requirement, but it's better to do it because the stone toss will speed up
樊稠 Fan Chou's defeat, and if 樊稠 Fan Chou is defeated, ally back-up
troops won't appear, and neither with the weapon. So do everything to keep
樊稠 Fan Chou alive. Just stay by him until ally back-up troops appear.
After that, you can leave him to his inevitable fate.

Muni Comment = This one is pretty straight forward. Just defeat 貂蝉 Diao
Chan as fast as you can.

of enemy soldiers so the civilians can move smoothly. I personlly got all 4
civilian troops to escape, but Kotaro says he lost one of the civilian
troops and the weapon still appeared.

Muni Comment = Do not pass through the center hill before running down the
hill with a horse. It is all right to fall off the horse along the way when
running down the hill.

after the 陸遜 Lu Xun Survey Camp Event. If 朱然 Zhu Ran is not defeated
before he reaches the right end of the mountain path, the fire attack event
will happen.

Muni Comment = Whether or not the fire event happens doesn't affect the
appearance of the weapon, but does affect the battle. Preventing the fire
event raises ally morale, but in reality endangers 劉備 Liu Bei because of
his position. Letting the fire event happen will cause him to retreat back
into the safety of the ally base, thus prolonging his life, so allowing the
fire event to happen is actually recommended.

姜維 | Kyou-Yi | Jiang Wei

castle, "櫓部隊, 攻撃停止" message appear, Precious Item Report.
Note = Defeating 夏侯惇 Xiahou Dun and 曹仁 Cao Ren delays the fall of the
North castle wall.
Muni Comment = Shooting those arrow troops from atop the castle wall makes
for an easier time. But there are a lot of wooden towers, some too far away
from the castle wall that if you are shooting arrows from the castle wall
you won't be able to see them. So go down to the ground level and check
thoroughly that you have hit all of the towers. Changing the TV screen top
right map into a small area map (pressing R2) is recommended, as it will
allow you to see arrow soldiers not visible from the ground (check for red
dots).
And don't bring arrow bodyguards, because if accidentally, the last arrow
troop enemy soldier is shot down by not you personally, all your efforts
will be ruined.

夏侯淵 | Kakou-En | Xiahou Yuan

Muni Comment = The actual way to ensure 馬謖 Ma Su doesn't start to break
through the barricade is to have ally soldiers reach the other side of the
馬謖 Ma Su hill, added you yourself don't meet with him, because as soon as
you meet with him, 馬謖 Ma Su will start to break through the barricade. To
successfully surround 馬謖 Ma Su, you will need to defeat his sub-general 陳
式 Chen Shi, thus cutting off his connection with the main base. All this
simply takes too long, so if you are confident with your skills, disregard
all of these steps, and just head directly for 魏延 Wei Yan, 姜維 Jiang Wei,
and 馬超 Ma Chao.

七海王 (Seven Seas King)
Element = Wind

Location = Near 朱然 Zhu Ran's appearance position, the right entrance of

Method = Break through the 石兵八陣 Stone Maze, then defeat 諸葛亮 Zhuge
Liang, Precious Item Report.

Muni Comment = You can kill enemy generals in-between, but the order must be
followed.

attack troops 満寵 Man Chong and 曹叡 appear, defeat 満寵 Man Chong and 曹叡
(can be before defeating 張コウ Zhang He and 徐晃 Xu Huang), lastly defeat
許チョ Xu Zhu, Precious Item Report.
