In wooden boxes or dropped by enemy generals. - Maximum attribute = 32 仙丹袋 [せんたんたい / Sen-tan-tai] (Wizard Pill Bag) Meat Buns effect increased. - In wooden boxes or dropped by enemy generals. - Maximum attribute = 20 溜力膏 [りゅうりきこう / Ryuu-riki-kou] (Gather Strength Balm) Charge Attack Strength increased. - In wooden boxes or dropped by enemy generals. - Maximum attribute = 12 戦神兜 [せんじんかぶと / Sen-jin-kabuto] (War God Helm) Won't lose consciousness and go dizzy. - 赤壁の戦い Chi Bi (呂布 Lu bu Side), personally defeat all enemy generals including back-up troop generals and all sub-generals, Precious Item Report near the Entry Point at the bottom right of map. Though generally sub-generals are positioned near the generals they belong to, there are a few that are hard to find. The hardest to find is probably 郭シ Guo Xi's sub-general 牛輔 Niu Fu, for instead of being close to his general, he is actually positioned close to 李蒙 Li Meng and 徐栄 Xu Rong. 董卓 Dong Zhuo's sub-general 賈ク is positioned close to 李カク. 董卓 Dong Zhuo's back-up troop sub-generals 張超 Zhang Chao and 皇甫嵩 are positioned on the right piece of land and the left piece of land. 張超 Zhang Chao is on the right, 皇甫嵩 is on the left. If you are not playing as 呂布 Lu Bu, 皇甫嵩 will be defeated by 呂布 Lu Bu very soon, so find and defeat him quickly. 狂撃術書 [きょうげきじゅつしょ / Kyou-geki-jyutsu-shyo] (Mad Attack Technique Book) After being knocked down, for a while Attack Strength x2, but Defense drops. - 定軍山の戦い Ding Jun Mountain, defeat 黄忠 Huang Zhong, 黄忠 Huang Zhong will drop the item. 皇帝手綱 [こうていたづな / Kou-tei-tatsuna] (Emperor Rein) Regardless of horse, you can knock over any enemy. - 石亭謀略戦 You Ting (南蛮 Nan Man Side), before East and West gates fall (keep 雍ガイ and 孟節 Meng Jie alive), defeat enemy back-up troop generals 甘寧 Gan Ning and 孫尚香 Sun Shang Xiang, North Gate open, Precious Item Report at the Northwest tip of map. 七星宝刀 [しちせいほうとう / Shichi-sei-hou-tou] (Seven Star Treasure Sword) Combo Points gained more easily. - Clear Challenge Mode 連撃 Combination with more than 1000 points. 響雷閃弓 [きょうらいせんきゅう / Kyou-rai-sen-kyuu] (Roaring Thunder Flash Bow) Shoot thunder arrows. - 夷陵の戦い Yi Ling (黄巾 Yellow Turban Side), after 10 minutes if 黄忠 Huang Zhong is still alive, Supply Team Appearance inside ally camp. 闇玉璽 [やみぎょくじ / Yami-gyoku-ji] (Dark Jade Sealstamp) Jade Sealstamp time length x2. - 官渡の戦い Guan Du (袁紹 Yuan Shao Side), enter the castle first, enter the inner castle gate, 曹操 Cao Cao not in the castle event, 袁紹 Yuan Shao order search for 曹操 Cao Cao, Precious Item Report to the top right of the most Northern bridge of the river at the top right of map. 獣神轡 [じゅうしんぐつわ / Jyuu-shin-gutsuwa] (Beast God Mouthpiece) Location of the last ridden horse or elephant is shown on the map. - Clear Challenge Mode 速駆 Downhill in under 1 minute 30 seconds. At the start of the challenge, going left to commandeer the 赤兎馬 Red Hare from 呂 布 Lu Bu is recommended. 鼓舞太鼓 [こぶだいこ / Ko-bu-dai-go] (Spirit Raising Drums) Increase the amount of Ally Morale Increase. - 南蛮夷平定戦 Nan Man (黄巾党 Yellow Turban Side), after 諸葛亮 Zhuge Liang appears as back-up troop, defeat him, Precious Item Report beside the bridge connecting to the Southern piece of land. 戦神滅砕腕 [せんじんめっさいわん / Sen-jin-mes-sai-wan] (Battle God Destruction Crash Arm) During Attack x2, can cause damage to enemies even when they are guarding. - 五丈原の戦い Wu Zhang Plain (董卓 Dong Zhuo Side), before ally back-up troops appear (7:30.00 time event), defeat 趙雲 Zhao Yun, 魏延 Wei Yan, 姜維 Jiang Wei to trigger the Falling Star Event, with 樊稠 Fan Chou defeated, 3 enemy back-up troops will appear, led by 張飛 Zhang Fei, 関羽 Guan Yu, 馬超 Ma Chao, defeat all three in any order, Supply Team Appearance near 劉備 Liu Bei's initial position, moving towards entry point at the bottom left of map. 達人装束 [たつじんしょうぞく / Tatsu-jin-shyou-zoku] (Expert Outfit) Automatic recovery after being hit into into the air. - Clear Challenge Mode 流星 Shooting Star with more than 100 enemies knocked off the bridge. Using a character with wide radius attacks is recommended. 猛将乱舞書 [もうしょうらんぶしょ / Mou-shou-ran-bu-shyo] (Valiant General Ranbu Book) During Musou Ranbu, deflect defense at the expense of Musou Gage. - 合肥新城包囲戦 He Fei New Castle (猛獲 Meng Huo Side), enter the castle from the right wing and defeat 諸葛亮 Zhuge Liang before defeating any other enemy generals, Precious Item Report on the boat to the South of 孟獲 Meng Huo's initial position. - The actual requirement is to defeat 諸葛亮 Zhuge Liang before the East Gate and the West Gate opens, and also before the South Gate close event, in other words, before 張コウ Zhang He and 曹仁 Cao Ren are defeated. In addition to the regular ending sequence, there are 2 alternate ending sequences for each character. Alternate ending sequence 1 is a personalized ending sequence that's exclusively arranged for the character. Alternate ending sequence 2 ends with a fireworks display which is not shown in either of the other two ending sequences. To see these alternate ending sequences, some requirements must be fulfilled. Alternate Ending Sequence 1 To see the Alternate Ending Sequence 1 of a character, two other specific characters must have previously cleared Musou Mode. 呂布 = 貂蝉 + 関羽.　　　Lu Bu = Diao Chan + Guan Yu. 貂蝉 = 呂布 + 董卓.　　　Diao Chan = Lu Bu + Dong Zhou. 董卓 = 呂布 + 馬超.　　　Dong Zhuo = Lu Bu + Ma Chao. 袁紹 = 張角 + 張コウ.　　Yuan Shao = Zhang Jiao + Zhang He. 張角 = 袁紹 + 司馬懿.　　Zhang Jiao = Yuan Shao + Sima Yi. 孟獲 = 祝融 + 諸葛亮.　　Meng Huo = Zhu Rong + Zhuge Liang. 祝融 = 孟獲 + 孫尚香.　　Zhu Rong = Meng Huo + Sun Shang Xiang. Alternate Ending Sequence 2 To see the Alternate Ending Sequence 2 of a character, three other specific characters must have previously cleared Musou Mode, and the character you are trying to see the alternate ending seqence 2 with must clear his or her final Musou Mode stage in under 15 minutes. 呂布 = 貂蝉 + 関羽 + 張遼.　　　Lu Bu = Diao Chan + Guan Yu + Zhang Liao. 貂蝉 = 呂布 + 董卓 + 甄姫.　　　Diao Chan = Lu Bu + Dong Zhuo + Zhen Ji. 董卓 = 呂布 + 馬超 + 孫堅.　　　Dong Zhuo = Lu Bu + Ma Chao + Sun Jian. 袁紹 = 張角 + 張コウ + 曹操.　　Yuan Shao = Zhang Jiao + Zhang He + Cao Cao. 張角 = 袁紹 + 司馬懿 + 周瑜.　　Zhang Jiao = Yuan Shao + Sima Yi + Zhou Yu. 孟獲 = 祝融 + 諸葛亮 + 陸遜.　　Meng Huo = Zhu Rong + Zhuge Liang + Lu Xun. 祝融 = 孟獲 + 孫尚香 + 甄姫.　　Zhu Rong = Meng Huo + Sun Shang Xiang + Zhen Ji. [Costume Color Change] After you clear one character from one kingdom in Musou Mode, all the characters of that kingdom will be able to change their costume color. At the Character Select Screen, press L2 or R2 to change colors. 呂布 Lu Bu black, 趙雲 Zhao Yun pink-ish, 甄姫 Zhen Ji red, etc. 周喩 Zhou Yu, 陸遜 Lu Xun, 大史慈 Taishi Ci come in their PS1 Sangoku Musou colors. [Special Stage and Special 呂布 Lu Bu] An original Shin Sangoku Musou 2 scenario load is necessary. All 7 Other Side characters have cleared Musou Mode. Enter Free Mode, 赤壁の戦い Chi Bi Stage, 董卓 Dong Zhuo Side, on 最強 Hardest Difficulty using any character other than 呂布 Lu Bu. A silver armored 呂布 Lu Bu will appear, the 呂布 character design from 三国 志戦記 Sangokushi Senki, another Koei Three Kingdoms game. The music of the stage will also be from 三国志戦記 Sangokushi Senki. At the same time, the last piece of music in the Music Listening Menu will be added. After you clear the Special Stage, whenever you want to access the Special Stage, when you choose 赤壁の戦い Chi Bi Stage, 董卓軍 Dong Zhuo Side, press L2 and R2 when you select it. If you want to play as the Special 呂布 Lu Bu, at the Character Select screen, with 呂布 Lu Bu highlighted press L2 or R2 and press left or right to select the grey 呂布 Lu Bu, and when the stage starts the Special 呂布 Lu Bu will appear. Note: You can't bring Musou Bodyguards at the same time. After you clear the stage with Special Lu Bu, Lu Bu's 3rd costume will be added in the Character Select screen when you press L2 or R2. [孫尚香 Sun Shang Xiang Alternate Costume] Like 呂布 Lu Bu, 孫尚香 Sun Shang Xiang also has a hidden costume which is from 三国志戦記 Sangokushi Senki. 孫尚香 Sun Shang Xiang clear Musou Mode doesn't seem to be a requirement, but clear it anyway just to be sure. All weapons obtained. Bodyguard weapons not required. All characters 武勲 Battle Point Max (99999). To use the costume, at the Character Select Screen, with 孫尚香 Sun Shang Xiang highlighted press L2 or R2 and use the left and right direction buttons to choose the costume. [Bodyguard Colors] Bodyguard colors are added as Moushouden characters clear Moushouden Musou Modes. 貂蝉 Diao Chan unlocks Pink Color. 薫卓 Dong Zhuo unlocks Black Color. 張角 Zhang Jiao unlocks Yellow Color. 孟獲 Meng Huo unlocks Male Nanban Bodyguards. 祝融 Zhu Rong unlocks Female Nanban Bodyguards. Clear the Special 赤壁の戦い Chi Bi Stage unlocks White Color. [Speedy Bodyguard Growth Suggestion] Enter the Koukin Yellow Turban stage in the easiest Novice Difficulty, with the Red Hare equipped, go for 何進 He Jing directly. With only 何進 He Jing defeated, you will clear the stage in around 2 minutes with 3000 points gained. [Break Limit Items] Break Limit Items are items with attributes that break the usual maximum limit of items. The the maximum break limit is 1.25 times the regular maximum break limit of the items. To acquire these items, during a stage, achieve 1000 to 1500 or higher Combo Points. The higher the better naturally. 3 Perfects should give you 1000. Perfect is not necessary. A long time limit stage is recommended. Or 石亭 | Sekitei | You Ting. A character with a weapon of high 運 Luck is recommended. A character with easy combo attack patterns is also recommended. Luck items are recommended, like 七星宝刀 Seven Star Treasure Sword, 七星玉 Seven Star Jade, 的櫨鐙 Tekiro Saddle (^_^'). Equipping 真空書 Vacuum Book for better radius is also recommended. During the loading, there is a black screen with text of the stage name at the bottom right corner of the TV screen with wind passing through the words. Press Circle repeatedly to increase the speed of the wind passing through the words. Hold any of the buttons to decrease the speed of the wind passing through the words. [Major Bug at 赤壁 Chi Bi - Walk on Ocean] Choose to play as a thin character. Choose to play on 呉 Wu Kingdom (or a South based kingdom) is recommended. Equip Red Hare Saddle. Ship at the bottom right of the map, the ship where 周泰 Zhou Tai is positioned. At the right side of that ship are 2 dead end passages blocked off by ropes. Run toward the left of the 2 dead end passages. Run toward the left corner of that left dead end passage. After a while, you will find yourself on the ocean. [Reverse 赤壁 Chi Bi Text] After doing the bug described above, run up the mountains at the bottom of map from the bottom right corner. Run to the South of 孫権 Sun Quan. At the big red letters 赤壁 Chi Bi written on the mountain side, enter the mountain and you will find yourself behind the letters, which are now reversed. [Major Bug at 夷陵 Yi Ling - Walk on Mountain] Choose to play as a thin character. Choose to play on 蜀 Shu Kingdom is recommended. Equip Red Hare Saddle. Head toward the 石兵八陣 stone maze from the 蜀 Shu base entrance. Run at the right corner of the entrance, in between the stone pillar and the mountain side. You need to find a certain spot, so alter your direction slightly if nothing happens after a while. When you find the right spot, the character will move forward into the corner a little bit, after that, keep running forward and you will suddenly find yourself on top of the mountains. [Major Bug at 樊城 Fan Castle - Walk Under Water] Equip Red Hare Saddle. Make sure you choose to play as a character that starts initially on top of the castle walls. Horse can go down stairs, but can't go up stairs, so be careful when trying to achieve this bug. First go down one level to the platform in the middle level. The middle level is where the bridges appear after the flood. From the middle level, go to one of the sides where there are no castle barriers, meaning if you kept running you will drop to the bottom level. Don't drop down. At the edge, face sideways along the side, walk sideways (press L1) slowly to drop off the edge halfway. Halfway meaning you are not standing on the middle level nor on the bottom level, you are standing in the middle of the side of that castle platform. At this point, if you move toward the platform you will return to the middle level, and if you move toward the ground you will drop down to the bottom level. This will take a few tries, if you drop down to the bottom level, restart the stage. Standing in the middle of the side of the wall, wait for the time to reach 5:00.00 for the flood to occur. Now you can move toward the ground to go under the flood water. Make sure you pick a spot where the bridge does not appear with the flood. Clear enemy soldiers around the area so you can wait for the flood undisturbed. When under water, if you go near a bridge or land, you will return to the regular level above water. From the top left and bottom right water exits, you can go to the outside of the castle. [Major Bug at 石亭 Shi Ting (You Ting) - Walk on Mountain & Under Water] Choose to play as a thin character. Equip Red Hare Saddle. Head to the Northwest fort. Along the West mountain side within the fort, there are 2 towers standing relatively close to each other, with a small fence in between the 2 towers. Run at the corner of the small fence and the mountain side from the South. Walk forward and sideways by pressing the guard button (L1) until you find a certain spot and move slightly further into that corner. Move forward after that and you will find yourself on top of the mountain. Head to the river and you can run down the mountain and into the bottom of the river water. [Major Bug at 潼関 Tong Gate - Walk on Mountain and Under Water] Equip Red Hare Saddle. To the North of the bottom left bridge are two civilian houses. Go to the Northern one of the two civilian houses. Run at the mountain side to the North of that civilian house, move left and right until you find the right spot and you will run up the mountain side. [Major Bug at 南蛮 Nan Man - Go Behind Shu 蜀 Base, Snow at 南蛮 Nan Man] Choose to play on 蜀 Shu Kingdom is recommended. Equip Red Hare Saddle. Run at the top left corner outside the fence of the 蜀 Shu base, after you find the spot you will run up the hill and end up behind the 蜀 Shu base.
