WWE SMACKDOWN: SHUT YOUR MOUTH Entrance Listing FAQ by stefan gagne (twoflowr@pixelscapes.com) If you're like me, you hate load times. That means you're not interested in sitting around previewing dozens of the available entrance animations in this game. So, I did it for you in this small FAQ. Keep it handy when brainstorming character ideas to save time! Odds are some of these entrances are meant to mimic existing proresu or WCW/ECW/Indie/Legendary wrestler entrances I don't know about. I'll update as I get information on them. A couple quick definitions before I start: T-Pose: Arms straight out in either direction. Y-Pose: Standard female pose, with hands facing upward. Car Intro: Like Fred Durst's auto in JBI. Video: The whole screen swaps over to your video for a time. If you selected no video it just uses generic crowd shots. --- ORIGINAL SOLO ENTRANCES --- 01: Exhausted (starts crouching and wheezing, staggers to ring) 02: Ballet intro (including slow mo jump into the ring) 03: Great Muta / "Mysterious" (airplane spin, stalking walk) 04: Goldberg intro (white sparks, spazzing out, etc) 05: Kung Fu intro from JBI 06: Jackass style shopping cart ride while waving; crashes into ring, falls out 07: Thriller zombie dance 08: Spiderman intro 09: Booker T gets blown up into the air by pyro, crashes ringside, collapses 10: Fred Durst's car ride intro (driver mimics arm motions) 11: Driven down in a car, no dancing (grasps rope, looks bad on short chars) 12: Rey Mysterio. Nuff said. 13: Steve Blackman (shaking hands loose, punching) 14: Yellow lighting, exorcist spider style (Voldo from Soul Calibur, too) walking under ring, looks bizarre. 15: Green lighting, sentai martial arts posing, pyro, more posing on turnbuckle 16: video, runs to the ring, poses both arms in the air. 17: Poses T, pyro, walks to ring adjusting armbands, one-knee pose in ring. 18: T-poses while rocking left and right, does a bit of posing in ring, rolls forward, poses on one knee. 19: Rides motorcycle to the ring, but doesn't loop around the ring, just parks it in front. A short version of Taker's entrance. 20: Womanly walk to ring, Y pose, kneels down puts finger in mouth. 21: Ordinary walking to the ring, then rubs head and twists around a moment (Keiji Mutoh?) 22: Driven to the ring (blows a kiss from the car), woman Y poses in ring 23: Brief video, Shane McMahon style bouncing and arm swinging. --- TAG TEAM ENTRANCES --- Original 1: Ballet Duet. Yikes. Original 2: Kung Fu Duel entrance (both partners crossover kick in the air... one falls, the other wins. Wild!) Original 3: Jackass intro; both ride down in shopping cart, which crashes. Partner #2 flies all the way over the ring. Original 4: Driven to the ring in the car, relaxing in the seats en route. Partner #1 rolls in, #2 climbs in, they stand around. Original 5: Both pose with pyro; P#2 doing a crane kick pose, P#1 on one knee. Walk to the ring, same pose. Kinda sentai, but not hyper. Original 6: Video for a long time, montage of DX poses, including crotch chops plus pyro! It's basically the DX intro, but there's no DX movie or music in the game, sadly. Might be fun with nWo imagery... --- TRIO ENTRANCES --- Original 1: Jackass intro again, but now THREE people in the cart... P#1 lands safely in the ring on his knees, the others ringside and over the ring. Original 2: Colored lighting everywhere... "Thriller" zombie dances on the stage, moonwalk to the ring, more zombie dance. ...yes, the entire team does this simulataneously. Creepy. Original 3: Car intro... third guy is sitting on the hood a bit effeminately (and does the Y pose in the ring). Original 4: All three pose, with pryo either side; it's like Tag Original 5, but with a third member. --- WWE WRESTLER ENTRANCES --- These are generic enough to re-use for your CAW. I skipped famous ones or ones otherwise too closely tied to their original character. A lot of them are clones of Maven's entrance, which is a completely generic walk to ring, slide under ropes, arms up pose on turnbuckle. Test, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Hardcore Holly, Earl Hebner, Billy Kidman, Albert. Woman: Video, womanly walk to the ring, Y pose. Vince McMahon: Video, walks to the ring while trash talking with nose in the air. Torrie Wilson: Like woman, but more talking/smiling. Superstars: The most generic walk to the ring, stands and waits for opponent. Stephanie McMahon 1: Video, a generic women's entrance, but with no posing. (SM2 has more Stupid Steph Poses.) Stacey Keibler: Arena shots briefly, video, sashaying walk with hands on hips pose at one point while talking to crowd, long-leg step through ropes, Y pose. Shawn Stasiak: Talking to the sky a bit crazy-like as he walks to the ring, otherwise generic. Scotty 2 Hotty: Dancing intro; swaying camera, arm-swinging stepping to ring, posing on apron. Nicely done. Rico: Video, dusts off arms and brushes hair, series of effeminate poses in the ring. Could be good for a female CAW, too. Rhyno: Beats chest and hands in the air, then walks to ring; same pose on turnbuckle. Raven: Crucifixion pose (halfway between T and Y), walks to ring, same pose on turnbuckle. Randy Orton: Generic walk to the ring; hops on apron, hits the Lance Storm pose in the ring (hands clasped over head, arms <> style) Molly Holly: Video, feminine walk to the ring, Y pose, talks, hands on hips (a bit softer in motion than other women's intros) Mark Henry: Waves to crowd, walks to ring, looks around. Lita: Not as enrgetic as her JBI one; stands still and does hip-thrust wave poses, then a few on the ramp to the ring. Slide under, arm waves on turnbuckle. Lance Storm: Hits the Lance Storm pose (arms over head), walks to ring, same thing in the ring. Kevin Nash: Video, then the nWo black and white video effect - arms up, then walks to ring, steps over top rope, one arm up pose. (low camera angles) Jazz: Video, quick women's walk to the ring, hand on hip and stands there. Ivory: See Jazz. Possibly a bit more feminine on the walk phase. Faarooq: See Maven, but more flex on the arms in the turnbuckle pose. Earl Hebner: Generic. D-Von: Hand on his heart with other arm raised a bit as he walks, similar pose in the ring. Debra: Video, more swinging of the arms as she walks to the ring, Y pose, hand on hip and talking. Chuck: Video, brief skipping down the ramp, Y-ish flexing pose. Chris Benoit: Video, quick march to the ring while flexing neck, wanders around ring. Bradshaw: Arm singal to crowd, checks wrists, rolls into ring, horns-hand signal to crowd, climbs down.
