SERIES NOTE ================================================================================ I could say that Super Sushi Puzzle is the sequel of Sushi Puzzle in the previous disk. ================================================================================ A. CONTROLS ================================================================================ This time, only keyboard works. Cattle Mutilation: [2],[4],[6],[8] (right): To move [Spacebar] : To take blocks, to mutilate cattle. If the cattle is far enough from you, you should hold the [Spacebar] key until the cattle is upside down. It means that you have successfully mutilated it. Hikkoshi Kun Game: [2],[4],[6],[8] (right): To move Butterfly: [Spacebar] : To swim (or fly?) forward For me, it seems very much like swimming, but.... butterfly can swim? Super Sushi Puzzle: [2],[4],[6],[8] (right): to move the puzzle's cursor. [Spacebar] : to change the sushi. Is it just me or the control for this game isn't as smooth as its predecessor? So, you have to move the cursor and click more carefully. ================================================================================ B. RULES ================================================================================ Cattle Mutilation: -You play as an EBES (Extra-terrestrial Biological Entities) who controls a big U.F.O. The small U.F.O.s are enemies. You may wonder about it but your big U.F.O. loses if it contacts the small U.F.O. The longer the contact, the more the lifes will drain. If you happen to touch the yellow blocks or the cattle that's supposed to be mutilated by you, you will lose as well. You can see that this EBES is shockingly weak. -You "mutilate" cattle to gain some lifes back. -You lost the lifes slowly as the time passes. -You only have 3 trials and can't increase. You can't see your trial count in the game. -If you lose all your lifes, you'll go back to the beginning of the mutilation stage (note: there are eight of them). -You can't do anything to kill the smaller U.F.O. enemies. If you try to "mutilate" them, this action only results in stunning them (and this "stuns" you as well). -For each cattle you have mutilated, you'll gain 4 life strips. Your lifes' maximum are 15 life strips. Your life indicator will be flashing when you have four life strips left. Hikkoshi Kun Game: You are flying to the other side of the sky. The "things" that come to you are randomized. Butterfly: You have to swim (or fly?) faster than the enemy at your right side. Super Sushi Puzzle: It's the very same with Sushi Puzzle 1. But now blue sushis are changed to yellow sushis. The puzzle difficulty is randomized, you can see a difficult puzzle relatively early in the game. You should see the previous FAQ for the expression way.... or at least, remember your mathematic lesson at the school. ================================================================================ C. GENERAL TIPS ================================================================================ Cattle Mutilation: ----------------- The only problem is the controller for this game. If you are better with the gamepad than keyboard (like me), you have to use cheating devices to be able to play with gamepad/joystick because this game is not so easy... and not very interesting either. Super Sushi Puzzle: ------------------ Be warned that I may miss the best tip for this game. And, I've got a little additional and update tip for this game. 1. You see the board. If there are all yellow sushis on all the row and column and they meet on a point, you change that point. If they form a rectangular/ square, it's the same with brute force method 1 though. 2. If you see most of the column and row are yellow sushis and they meet on a point, be sure to change that point. This starts to get difficult to do though. You should understand this: If the yellow sushis form a square... or rectangular, this is the same with brute force method 1. 3. If you see yellow sushi(s) that is/are out of pattern, try to click on the yellow sushi(s). I think this is the most difficult to notice. 4. If you see a row or column that has some red sushis on the middle, try to click on them. But beware that the red sushis must not form a square. Brute force methods: 1. If you see four yellow sushis that form a square/rectangular, memorize all of their locations to click all of them. 2. Memorize all of the yellow sushis locations to click all of their locations. These two counts as "brute force" by me because you can use these two methods to solve all the nasty puzzles, but you have to click on many many blue sushis. ================================================================================ D. WALKTHROUGH ================================================================================ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CATTLE MUTILATION ---------------------- After selecting this game, you'll see the intro for this game. Something in the somewhat far past. I wonder if it was really happening.... Press [Spacebar] key to go directly to the game: Mutilation One. Mutilation One (1) ------------------ I think the only thing to notice is the number of the cows/cattles to mutilate. These mutilation stages should be not happening in the past in spite of the intro is somewhat historic. If you see the Luna/Mars/Neptune/Venus/Pluto base something on the left of the screen...., I also wonder what they do.... Luna base is something inappropriate to tell since there are many crescent moons on the background x___X This is the opening stage which should be pretty easy... compared to the next stages. The difficulty will increase as the game goes on with the final stage will be the most difficult one. Remember that you can't do anything to harm the smaller U.F.O. enemies, you can only avoid them. If you are hurt by colliding the enemies, mutilating the cows will refill your life meter by 4 strips each. Note that there are some restriction about how far you can go to the ground which can be different in each mutilation stage. In this stage, you should know that you can't touch the cows. Beware that if you do, you will lose lifes as well. Cows to mutilate: 5 Mutilation One (2) ------------------ By the way, who put nine cows on platforms a la Super Mario like this? You should be careful not to collide with the cows. You can also carry the yellow blocks (it consists of two yellow blocks) with the [Spacebar] key. This action doesn't do anything right now. The cows will move randomly, usually rather slowly around, but it will never fall from the platform. Cows to mutilate: 9 Mutilation Two (1) ------------------ One of the cows is beneath the yellow blocks. Now, you have to move the yellow blocks to finish this stage. After mutilating all the cows, you'll still have to dodge all the enemies for a while after all the mutilations are done. Cows to mutilate: 7 Mutilation Two (2) ------------------ This is where the yellow blocks starts to have some use. If you put the yellow blocks onto the spiky thin ground that you'll see in this stage, the yellow blocks will break the thin ground. You have to drop three yellow blocks onto the thin ground to make a hole that's sufficient for your big U.F.O. body to access the area below. Cows to mutilate: 6 Mutilation Three (1) -------------------- There are five cows. You can see that if you lift some of the yellow blocks or the cows, the blue U.F.O. enemies that were trapped inside will also be set free. Of course it's not what we want. So, we have to count the cows, the 4th cow is to be mutilated first. The 2nd and 3rd are next, I think. The first and the last cows are the last to be mutilated because you can have some refreshments of life energy without having to have the troublesome of lifting the yellow blocks while dodging the enemies. Cows to mutilate: 5 Mutilation Three (2) -------------------- In this stage, you don't have to mutilate all the cows, and you can no longer fly high. Instead, you will have to pass through several narrow passages which are below the ground to get to the next stage. You can ignore the narrow passages that go to underground, you should know that one yellow blocks is not enough to fit in your big U.F.O. body. Your goal is to position yourself on the UFO image that resembles yourself that's located in the end of the "tunnel" with tiny holes which is mentioned above. Mutilating all the cows can become an alternative, and the path is about the same. You'll meet approximately in the end of the aforementioned "tunnel". Cows to mutilate: 6 The Last Mutilation (1) ----------------------- The Last Mutilation will be very similar to Mutilation Three, but with significant increase in difficulty. I think you should mutilate the second cow first. The first cow comes second because the yellow enemy just moves randomly. The rest of the cows, I think, should be mutilated last with the blue enemies that are always following you. The last note for this stage is you should NEVER put the yellow blocks on the middle of the thin ground. You should put two of them on the side of the thin ground which exactly fit the size. Cows to mutilate: 4 The Last Mutilation (2) ----------------------- This stage will be very similar to mutilation three (2), except right now you have to bring any yellow blocks with you to the underground tunnel and go pass narrow passages underground like what's shown in Screenshot #10. The thin body of your U.F.O. added by the yellow blocks can surprisingly pass the narrow passages. Deep into the tunnel you can find the only cow covered by the spiky thin ground and deeper into the tunnel: the yellow blocks. These two yellow blocks are the things required and just fit to break the thin ground to mutilate this last cow inside. Cows to mutilate: 7 After mutilating all the cows, congratulations because you have defeated this game. After the ending sessions, you will be brought to section E. Music Show (Cattle Mutilation). ---------------------- D02. HIKKOSHI KUN GAME ---------------------- This is a pretty simple game. Hikkoshi Kun is asked to go to another place by flying. Wearing something like a superhero outfit, Hikkoshi Kun is surprisingly terribly weak though. There'll be many obastacles along the way in many simple shapes: in diamond shapes, circle shapes, kinda unrealistic you may tell, which moves from random places, in random speeds too. But, they only can move exactly forward. Until some distance that has no particular signings, until dodging enough random obstacles, the game will end. Pretty difficult, it should be, considering many obstacles there are.. **mumble** I think the sky should be big enough, if there are many things above, that should be the clouds or maybe the... cloud particles, but.. would that hurt? **end of mumble** -------------- D03. BUTTERFLY -------------- They say this butterfly is powerful? But what for?? I think this is kinda like a common quest in video games to defeat all the nasty enemies to save the world or something like that. But, it's not. According to my translator, this is... kinda the same though... You have to save the world from the aliens. But, this game supposed to be the training... just the training for that purpose......? Two times swimming? or flying? faster than the enemy at your right side who's very similar with you who doesn't really swim/fly very fast is enough to end this game. No congratulation for this matter.... I think.... ----------------------- D04. SUPER SUSHI PUZZLE ----------------------- Super Sushi Puzzle is the same with Sushi Puzzle in the previous disk with a worse controlling matter. I hope you've seen the above general tips on section C. General Tips.
