I can say that Akita Bachan 2 is the sequel of 100 Yen Disk 3's "Grandmother Akita's Poem". Sorry for the..... incorrect translation... X_X '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. A. CONTROLS '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. You can only use keyboard. Haruma Game: [4],[6] or [1],[3]: To move Uncle Harold left/right (while jumping). Fa-Fa Game: [Spacebar]: To start the coin to roll. The Quest Of Orclot: [Spacebar]: To move Orclot. Gokilogeael: [2],[4],[6],[8]: To hit down/left/up/right. Akita Bachan 2: [Spacebar]: To punch the strawberry. As usual, the number buttons that work are on the keyboard's right. '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. B. RULES '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. Haruma Game: You play as Uncle Harold. You have to collect all the available spade/club/diamond/heart marks and jump back to the left platform. Collecting the marks is done by the hat, i.e. you should "touch" the marks with Uncle Harold's hat. You lose a life if you fall into the sea. You only has 3 lives for the whole game! Fa-Fa Game: You have to give the coin to Fa-Fa's hand. That's all. If you fail, you'll have unlimited chance to try again. The Quest Of Orclot: You have to save Inko (a type of bird) from Single Devil by walking towards Single Devil when it is looking away. Gokilogeael: Perhaps, what they mean is to hit the "gokiburi", but, actually you have to hit to the place where the "gokiburi" goes. You only have one chance for the entire game. Akita Bachan 2: It's a very simple game. You only need to punch the strawberries with [Spacebar] key. The strawberry supply is unlimited, or more exactly: recycled. '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. C. GENERAL TIPS '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. Haruma Game: I have no tips for this game. This game shouldn't be difficult if you know exactly what to do. Fa-Fa Game: Nothing else than you have to know when you should "throw" the coin to Fa-Fa. The Quest Of Orclot: Nothing else but patience. You should know the safest time to walk is soon after Single Devil is looking at you. But, I think you'll need a lot of patience... Gokilogeael: Nothing else but reflex.... The last round is very difficult, you may need some cheat device to pass thru. Akita Bachan 2: None. '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. D. WALKTHROUGH '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'. Insert the floppy disk, then run the game. This time, there are two disks. Just press [1],[2], or [3] to choose a game in the first disk (let's just call this the first disk, ok?) Press [1], or [2] to choose a game in the second disk. Haruma Game is the first game in the first disk. ---------------- D01. HARUMA GAME ---------------- Firstly, select your monitor. You should be able to see what this game says whether your monitor is analog/digital. I think you should follow this advice to see everything in this game more clearly. [Return] key if it's analog. [Spacebar] key if it's digital. Next is the intro of this game. [Help] key is emulated by [End] key. Press [Return] key to start the game. There are two things to notice in this game: The mark and the bonus points. The formulae to count the bonus points are VERY complex and it doesn't do anything worthwhile. The approximate formula I can tell is: the more the marks, the more bonus points you can get >_> The other approximate formula: The bonus points depend on the type of the marks available. I say it's approximate because you can't tell the bonus points EXACTLY from the marks. It can be different slightly from time to time and I don't happen to know what causes this >_> The amount of marks should worth more to notice and it's fixed for each level. The marks could be the combination of anything possible from Spade, Club, Diamond, and Heart. The platforms which is rising and sinking should move predictably: rising and sinking in a fixed speed. Level 1: 2 Level 2: 3 Level 3: 3 Level 4: 4 Level 5: 4 Level 6: 5 Level 7: 5 Level 8: 6 Level 9: 6 Level 10: 7 Level 11: 7 Level 12: 8 Level 13: 8 Level 15: 9 If you lose the game and get the Game Over screen, your monitor will be changed back to analog again. Bad news if your monitor is digital... After level 15, the game will end and it counts your total bonus points. Hit [Return] key after the credit screen will play the Music Show. Please see section E. Music Show (Haruma Game) for details. --------------- D02. FA-FA GAME --------------- This can't be really called a walkthrough... After pressing the [Spacebar] key on the intro screen. The game soon will start after a text-screen. Fa-Fa will jump and jump on the left side and you have to press [Spacebar] to start the coin to roll above Fa-Fa. To finish this game good, press [Spacebar] when Fa-Fa jump half of the way (about all the head part only appears on the screen) to give the coin to Fa-Fa's hand. ------------------------ D03. THE QUEST OF ORCLOT ------------------------ Press [Spacebar] at the title screen to start the game. You're 60m. away from the enemy, press [Spacebar] will make Orclot walk 1m. towards Single Devil. After you save Inko, you'll get to stage 2. But, actually, stage 2 or later stages are technically just the same with stage 1. After stage 9, you'll go to stage 10. After stage 10, you'll go back to stage 9 and so forth. For the next games, change the first disk into second disk and insert it into Drive 1. ---------------- D04. GOKILOGEAEL ---------------- Hit [Return] key at the game intro to start the game. Round 1: Kitchen Round 2: Kamitama Round 3: Neko Round 4: Panel Round 5: Gero Ball Round 6: Kaihatsuin The gokiburi/cockroach moves faster and faster as the game round goes on. For round 1-5, you'll need to hit 7/10 of the cockroaches. Round 6 is much more difficult because you'll need to hit 9/10 of the cockroaches. If you fail to meet the requirement, you'll be brought back to Round 1: Kitchen. Once you hit nine of them successfully, you'll get an ending. ------------------- D05. AKITA BACHAN 2 ------------------- This time, it's time for grandmother Akita again to prepare food for the family. And now, your task is much easier than making the rice ball in the first game. Press [Spacebar] key at the game intro, after some dialog, the game will start automatically. You only have to punch the strawberries and wherever the "juice" goes, it'll be poured into the glass automatically. '.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.'.
