Cleopatra:Riddle Of The Tomb Walkthrough

NOTE:For some of the puzzle solutions. Some of the letters will be
wrong. I will mark these with a *asterisk*. Also use your Map to move from
one location to another quicker.

This Walkthrough covers Good Luck and Bad Luck.


[ Cleopatra's Apartments ]

Turn around to either Quit The Game,view the Credits or view the Gallery.
Turn right to go to Options. Click on the column to adjust the Overall Volume,
Music Volume and Sound Effects Volume. Click and slide the neck of the lute
to adjust the volume either high,low or no volume. Click on the sphere to
adjust the Rotation Speed:Slow,Normal or Rapid. On the lamp base you can
adjust the Brightness. The papyrus on the left,you can activate or deactivate
the Subtitles. The papyrus on the right,you can activate or deactivate the
Object Info.

Go forwards the Play. First you have to choose a Avatar,from left to right.
Anubis,Horus,Khnoum,Pharaoh,Bastet. It does not matter which one you choose.
Next you have to choose a Sign Of The Zodiac. Which ever one you choose will
change some events in the game. You have Good Luck and Bad Luck. They are
both about the same but in Bad Luck you have to pick up a few more items and
some of the puzzles in the game have different solutions. If you don't know
which Zodiac sign is which,well here you go.

[ The Obervatory Garden ]

Look in the right vase and take the STRIP OF PAPYRUS. Go forwards towards the
pyramid. Pick up IRIS'S WRITING CASE. Turn left and pick the HALF OF A BROKEN
STICK. Turn right and go across the bridge. Turn right and go forwards. Look
down and pick up another HALF OF A BROKEN STICK. Go across the bridge,turn
right and pick up the PRECIOUS BRACELET. Go across the bridge and turn left.
Pick up the POT OF BITUMEN and a METAL HOOK.

Go to you Inventory and combine both Half Of A Broken Stick and the Pot Of
Bitumen to make a MENDED STICK. Combine the Strip of Papyrus and the Mended
Stick. Go forwards across both bridges and forwards past the statue of Horus
and Anubis. Turn left and use the Metal Hook on the strip of papyrus in the
hippos mouth. Turn right,go across the bridge and turn right. Pick up the WATER
DAMAGED PAPYRUS.

Turn left,go forwards and look down. Pick up AKKAD'S HALF CROWN. Turn left and
take PART OF A THEATRICAL MASK. Go around the pyramid to where Thomas said
it was hot! Put the Water Damaged Papyrus on the side of the pyramid. Take the
DRIED PAPYRUS. Go to your Inventory. Combine Iris's Writing Case and the Dried
Papyrus. Then combine the Dried Papyrus and the Mended Stick. Go across the
bridge,turn right and go across both bridges. Pick up the CRETAN ARROW. Go
back to the pyramid. Go forwards across the bridge towards a sphere.

[ The Celestial Sphere Puzzle ]

According to the Dried Papyrus and what Iris said " correctly name the Arrow
constellation and the two places it points to" Spin the sphere until you see
the Constellation of the Arrow. Place the cursor on the arrow and letters
appear. Also letter appear on Constellation of Pegusus and Constellation of
Pisces. Press the square buttons to input the letters...

Turn around,go across the bridge and turn left. Go forward and turn left to
face the statue of Eros. Click on the bow to stretch the string. Use the
Cretan Arrow. Click on the bow one time to position the bow and arrow. Turn
around and press The Sign of Sagittarius. Enter Akkad's Workshop.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

On the shelf take AKKAD'S NOTES. Look down and examine the tablets. Turn
around,go forwards and open the cabinet and take THE STORY OF ENUMA ANU
ENLIL. Look on the wine rack and take the LETTER FROM THE LIBRARIAN. Turn
right and go towards the table. Examine Akkad's universal calender. Pick up
the SMALL PLIERS and LETTER TO IRIS laying on the table. On the shelf next
to the calender take the NOTCHED ROD. Turn around and the PAPYRUS WITH MONTHS
laying on the chair.

Turn left and go forwards. Take THE HELIOLAB laying on the table. Pick up the
TABLET MOLD. Turn around and pick up the LIGHTER. Open the curtain and go
up stairs.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Take the ANCIENT ROD FOR TAGS from Akkad's heliolab. Open the chest and take
the PAPYRUS CONTAINING CODES. Go forwards and pick up the CLEPSYDRA.
Go down stairs.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

[ The Notched Rod Puzzle ]

This is how I solved this puzzle. Look down and use the Notched Rod on the
table. Look back in your Documents,The Code Papyrus. Notice the small tags
are vowels A,E,I,O,Y and the large tags are consonant. Look at Akkad's
calender and look at the word "Arasammu" Which letters are vowels and which
letters are consonant? On the Notched Rod place the large and small tags in
this order from left to right. Small,Large,Small,Large,Small,Large,Large,Small.
Take the ROD WITH TAGS and go up stairs.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Use the Rod With Tags on Akkad's heliolab. Click on the handle in the back to
rotate the spring. Click on the small wooden "tag" in front of the spring to
rotate the heliolab.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Pick up the CRUSHED NECKLACE and the STONE laying next to the pool of water.
Go to your Inventory. Combine the Stone and the Crushed Necklace to get a
Papyrus. Continue going forwards and click on the green Sobek statue. Talk to
the Crocodile guardian,he ask you to make two more ushabti figurine's before
we can enter the library. Take the USHABTI FIGURINE laying on the small table.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

Turn around and get two handful of CLAY. Go to your Inventory and combine the
Clay,Ushabti Figurine and Tablet Mold to make a UNBAKED USHABTI HALF MOLD
(FRONT) Combine the same exact items again to make a UNBAKED USHABTI HALF
MOLD (BACK) Go to the furnace,turn right and put some Dry Leaves in the furnace
use the Lighter to start a fire. Put the Unbaked Ushabti Half Mold (Front) in
the fire. Use the Kiln Tongs hanging up to take the BAKED USHABTI HALF
MOLD (FRONT)

Do the same exact thing with the Unbaked Ushabti Half Mold (Back). Put some
Dry Leaves in,use the Lighter,put the Half Mold (Back) in the fire and use the
Kiln Tongs to take the BAKED USHABTI HALF MOLD (BACK) Go back and get two
handful of Clay. Go to your Inventory and combine the Clay,Baked Ushabti Half
Mold (Back) & (Front) to get UNBAKED USHABTI FIGURINE. Do the same exact
thing to make another Unbaked Ushabti.

Go to the furnace,put some Dry Leaves in the furnace,use the Lighter and put
the Unbaked Ushabti Figurine in the fire. Use the Kiln Tongs to take the
USHABTI FIGURINE. Do the same exact thing to the other Unbaked Ushabti
Figurine. Also go ahead and grab two handful of Clay we will need it in a
moment.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Put the three Ushabti Figurine's on the small table. Talk to the Crocodile
guardian.

[ The Observatory Garden ]

You should be facing the pyramid. Turn right,go across the bridge,turn right
go across the bridge and turn left.Go to your Inventory,take the Clepsydra and
take it apart to get LOWER HALF OF CLEPSYDRA. Fill the Lower Half Of Clesydra
with water to the 12 hour mark. Go to Akkad's mansoleum.

[ Akkad's Mansoleum Door Puzzle ]

Click on the glyph "I was born at one;at three already a man I was;at five I
was aged,past my prime;when nine shall chime the hour the tomb gates shall open
Notice the bronze stopper is missing on the far right. Use the Clay to fill in
the hole. Starting on the (top) left hole going right,use the Lower Half Of
Clepsydra to put water in the holes.

Fill the 1st hole to the 1 hour mark.
Fill the 2nd hole to the 3 hour mark
Fill the 3rd hole to the 5 hour mark
Go back at fill the Clepsydra to the 10 hour mark
Go back and fill the 4th hole to the 9 hour mark
The bronze stopper falls out of the first hole
Use the Clay to fill the hole
Fill the 1st hole again to the 1 hour mark


[ Akkad's Mansoleum ]

Go inside,look down and use the Lighter to light the oil lamp. Turn right and
go to the large jars. Open the jar on the right and take the STATUETTE OF
ANUBIS,flip the head over laying on the floor and take the STATUETTE OF HORUS.
Open the jar in the middle and take the STATUETTE OF THOTH. Open the jar on
the left and take the STATUETTE OF ISIS. Turn around,go around the tomb and
examine the glyphs on the wall.

Isis is on the left. Thoth is to the left of the scales. Anubis is to the
right of the scales. Horus is on the right. Look down at the box. Put Isis
on the bottom left black square. Put Thoth above Isis,beside the scales.
Put Horus on the bottom right black square. Put Anbis above Horus,beside the
scales. Take all four statuettes.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Turn right. You should know where the statuettes go.
Isis on the bottom left back square
Thoth beside Isis.
Horus on the bottom right black square.
Anubis beside Horus.
Enter the library.

[ The Hall Of Honor Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Turn around and pick up the GRAPPLING HOOK. Pick up the DIGGING BAR laying
on the ground next to lamp on your left. Go forward,left,forward. Pick up the
ROPE laying on the ground next to the crocodile. Turn around and go to the
corner of the room where you see a man sitting down. Talk to Kordax. When you
get done talking enter the next room. Turn right and take the INVENTORY OF
INGREDIENTS. Look on the next shelf and take the PILE OF 4 BOWLS.
Use the Bowls and pick up the following items in the room.

Red powder
Gray powder
White powder
Black powder
Green powder
Ochre powder
Yellow powder
White powder
Orange powder
Melukhkha bone
Uruka root
Cannan thorns
White nuggets
Lullubi flower
Makkan seed
The Gray nuggets are molding,we can't pick them up

{ The Laboratory }

Look beside the Empty bowl and take THE PRUSIAS PROPERTIES. Take THE ZOILOS
REACTIONS laying on a board to your left. Hanging on the wall take THE DIOMEDES
REACTIONS. Turn around and take the EMPTY DECANTER from the shelf. Go to your
Inventory and place a bowl in the holder. All the bowls will automatically go
in their holders. Naming each plants and powders from left to right.

Upper Left Corner-Mitanni gum,Kerma powder,Arsawa powder,Pitassa gum.

Top Row-Lullubi flower,Makkan seed,Melukhkha bone,Uruka root,Cannan thorns,
White nugget,Yellow powder,Orange powder.

Bottom Row-Ochre powder,Green powder,Black powder,White powder,Red powder,Empty
White powder,Gray powder

{ Making The Solvent }

Read the papyrus you found in the broken necklace.

Take the Empty bowl and fill it with water (on the left)
Add 1 handful of Lullibi flower
2 handfuls of Makkan seeds
2 handfuls of Uruka roots
1 handful of Canaan thorns
Use the Empty Decanter on the bowl to get the SOLVENT.
Empty the bowl in the left jar.

Turn around and go back to where the crocodiles are. Turn right and go towards
the column. Use the Solvent on all four columns to remove the paint. Notice
there are roman numerals on the column. Use the Digging Stick on the column.
Go to your Inventory and combine the Grappling Hook and the Rope to make
ROPE AND GRAPPLING HOOK.

Turn around and go to the crocodile,Use the Rope And Grappling Hook on the
crocodiles necklace. Go back to the column and attach the Rope to the Digging
Bar. Go back to the crocodile,Souchoul and click on his head. The Crocodile
guardian will tell you to go out to the garden and grab the stick. So,go out to
the garden and get SOBEK'S STAFF. Go back inside and use the Sobek's Staff
on Souchoul and he will turn the column for you.

In order to turn another column you have to remove the Rope from the Digging
Bar,take the Digging Bar and use it on another column,attach the Rope to the
Digging Bar and use Sobek's Staff on Souchoul.

[ The Four Columns Puzzle ]

Look back at the papyrus you got from the Broken Necklace "The first four
prime numbers will open the door " Turn each column to these roman numerals.
From left to right. II,III,V,VII or 2,3,5,7.


Enter the secret chamber,look down and click on the tablets laying in the chair
Talk to Kordax. Look down,open the basket and take the FORMULA FOR THE
MORPHEUS DRAFT and FILLETS OF DRIED FISH. Enter the Laboratory.

{ Making Kordax's Soothing Balm } (Thanks to MaGtRo Walkthrough)

First we have to make the Ashod resin/Ataniya roots and Tjekker flowers,we
don't have them yet. Fill the Empty bowl with water.

Ataniya Roots-1 handful or Kerma powder,2 handfuls of Arsawa powder,2 handfuls
of Pitassa gum and 1 handful of Gray powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it full of water.

Tjekker Flowers-1 handful of Mitanni gum,2 handfuls of Arsawa powder and White
powder (4th bowl from the left)

Empty the bowl and fill it full of water.

2 handfuls of Melukhkha bones
2 handfuls of Ataniya roots
2 handfuls of Canaan thorns
2 handfuls of Tjekker flowers

Use the Fillets Of Dried Fish on the Soothing Balm and take the SOPORIFIC FISH.
Turn around,go back to Kordax and feed the Soporific Fish to the crocodile.

[ Isles Of Pharos ]

Turn right and go towards the galley. Turn right and open the chest. Take the
NEEDLE A REEL OF THREAD and FRAYING INSTRUMENT,there is also a sail but it's
too heavy to pick up. Turn around and open the chest. Take the HAMMER and the
CHISEL. Turn Go to right and use the Chisel on the beam to get A PIECE OF WOOD.
Use
the Fraying Instrument on the sail to get LARGE SECTION OF SAIL. Go to your
Inventory and combine the Fraying Instrument and Large Section Of Sail to get
three SMALL STRIP OF SAIL.

Combine the Needle And Reel Thread with the Small Strips Of Sail to make an
OPEN BAG. Do this two more times,so you have three Open Bags. Turn and go back
to the dock. Use all three Open Bags on the pile of sand to get SANDBAG. You
should have three Sandbags. Turn and go towards the Cyclops (catapult) Look
down and pick up the BROKEN PEG. Go to your Inventory and combine the
Broken Peg,A Piece Of Wood,Hammer and Chisel to make a NEW PEG.

Go to the other end of the Cyclops and tuen left. Pick up the WOODEN FRAME and
BALL OF STONE. Turn around and look down. Put the three sandbags laying on the
ground in the chest/counterweight,now put the three bags of Sandbags from your
Inventory in the chest/counterweight. Take the Ladder and put it up against the
Cyclops. Pick up the Winch Cable Loop and go up the ladder. Put the Winch Cable
Loop on the pulley and put the New Peg on the pulley.

Go down the ladder. Take the ladder and put it back on the ground. Underneath
the wheel,turn the peg to the left and click on the wheel. Take the Catapult
sling and put it in the middle of the catapult. Put the Ball Of Stone in the
Catapult sling. Attach the hook (laying on the ground) to the arm (look above
the wheel) and take the Hammer and hit the New Peg.

Go up to the lighthouse and pick up the Ball Of Stone. Go back down to the
Cyclops. Look down and pick up the Winch Cable Loop. Why,thank you Posidon.
Take the Hammer and hit the New Peg. Go up to the lighthouse and go inside.

[ Lighthouse Of Alexandria ]

Turn around and pick up the CHAINMAIL. Go to your Inventory and combine the
Chainmail,Wooden Frame and Reel Of Thread to make a Sieve. Go back outside,
turn around and look down. Take the Large Fragment and place them on the stone.
Use the Sieve on the pile of sand 5 times to get Small Fragments. Put the Small
Fragment in place and read the plaque. Go back inside the lighthouse and go
forward,left and forward.

[ The Metal Casket Puzzle ]

Read the text underneath the Casket "You...who built this lighthouse,become
the guardian of the sun chariot..." Look in your Documents for the plaque.
Who built the lighthouse? Sostratos! Now look on the piece of paper for
Sostratos written in Greek. On the Metal Casket rotate the letters...
E* Y E omega symbol E* T P A T O E* O E* Press the round piece that has the
letters T P A. Take the LETTER and pull the lever. Turn around and go to the
counterweight.


[ Appolo's Chariot Puzzle ]

Take all the weights off the counterweight.
Put 9 weights in the chariot.
Pull the rope to bring the counterweight back down.
Put 9 weights in the counterweight.
Untie the rope and the counterweight should go back up.
Get in the chariot and take out 9 weights.


[ The Hydra Chamber ]

Go to the center of the room and talk to Iris. When your done talking turn left
and read the inscription underneath the winch. "Three Gorgons guard the sun,
call them and the light shall be yours"

[ Three Gorgon Sisters Puzzle]

Go back to the center of the room . Look in your Documents for the plaque.
There are three names in red. Look down and press the gold buttons in this
order.The three names in red is the clue.

[ The Great Prism Puzzle ]

Go up and turn the winch. Go to the center of the room and look up at the
bottom of the prism. If there is a square plate on the bottom,these are
booby-traps. Examine the three that don't have the square plates. Then look
straight down and pull the ropes. You have to examine all three that don't have
square plates in order to pull the ropes. Talk to Iris.


[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris. Go down stairs and Kordax will call for you. Look at the bottom
of the stairs and pick up PART OF A MASK. Go to your Inventory and combine
Part Of A Mask and Part Of A Theatrical Mask to find out it's the same mask.

[ Akkad's Home ]

Go inside and talk to Kordax. Turn around and take the FRAGRANCE FORMULA
from the small table. Turn right and examine the door,looks like someone broke
in here. Talk to Kordax about the door.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris.

Talk to Kordax.

Talk to Kordax and take his DIRTY WASHBOWL.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Take SOBEK'S STAFF. Turn around. The Crocodile guardian is dead. Use Sobek's
Staff on the crocodile and go the The Laboratory.

{ Making The Posion And The Fragrance } (Thanks to MaGtRo Walkthrough)

Take the bowl,empty it and fill it with water (if needed)

Take the Dirty Washbowl and empty it.

According to the Fragrance Formula we don't have any of these,so we have to
make them.

Nuzi leaves-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Yellow powder

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water.

Ashur leaves-1 handful of Mitanni gum,2 handfuls of Pitassa gum,1 handful of
Orange powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Kassite bark-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Orchre powder

Empty the bowl fill and it with fresh water

Masa thorns-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Arsawa powder,1 handful of
Green powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Teresh roots-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Arsawa powder,1 handful of
Pitassa gum,1 handful of Black powder

YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE THESE NEXT THREE  IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!!!

Ekron leaves-1 handful of Kerma powder,2 handfuls of Arsawa powder,1 handful

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Askelon seeds-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Kerma powder,2 handfuls
of Pitassa gum,1 handful of Red powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Arrapha resin-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Pitassa gum,1 handful of
White nugget.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Now that we have everything made put the following in the bowl.

2 handfuls of Melukhkha bones
2 handfuls of Ataniya roots
2 handfuls of Canaan thorns
2 handfuls of Tjekker flowers
2 handfuls of Nuzi leaves
1 handful of Ashur seeds
2 handfuls of Kassite bark
2 handfuls of Masa thorns
1 handful of Teresh root

Use Kordax washbowl and use it on the posion and fragrance. Take the POSIONED
AND FRAGRANCED WASHBOWL.


[ Akkad's Home ]

Place the washbowl next to Kordax. Look in his bag next to his feet and take
the ROD WITH TAGS and HALF OF THE CROWN AKKAD. Click on the Horn of Kordax
laying on the bed.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris.

[ Akkad's Mausoleum ]

Go to your Inventory and combine Half Of The Crown Of Akkad and Akkad's Half
Crown. The Taurus Medallion and Aries Medallion fall out of the crown. Now
combine Akkad's Crown and the Small Pliers,the other 10 Medallions also fall
out of the crown. Look at the freso as soon as you walk in. The Taurus
Medallion is on the left and The Aries Medallion is on the right. Go around to
the back of the tomb.

Look up at the two bearers on the solar barque. Put the Taurus Medallion in
the arms of the bearer on the left. Put the Aries Medallion in the arms of the
bearer on the right. Something opened. Go to the left of the tomb and examine
the freso. There are three astrological signs. Sagittarius,Capicorn and
Aquarius. And there are x amount of demons for each sign.

Go around to the other side of the tomb. There are also three astrological
signs. Gemini,Cancer and Scorpio. And again x amount of demons for each
sign. Go back to the front of the tomb. So that's what opened.

[ The Tomb/Clock Puzzle ]

Turn the rod of the Sun to 12:00.Turn the rod of the Moon to 7:00. Place the
Medallions in the slots. Gemini,Cancer,Scorpio,Sagittarius,Capricorn,Aquarius.
Like the signs we saw on the fresco. On each corner of the "clock" there are
Rods. Place the Rods in the Medallions. Remember on the fresco,the demons
for each sign is the clue.

Aquarius-All Four Corners
Capricorn-Top Left,Bottom Left,Bottom Right
Sagittarius-Top Left,Top Right,Bottom Right
Scorpio-Bottom Left
Cancer-All Four Corners
Gemini-Bottom Left,Bottom Right


[ The Secret Observatory ]

Use the Lighter to light the oil lamp and go down the steps. Turn around
and open the box. Take AKKAD LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. Use the Libra
Medallion to open the casket. Take the MOLDBOARD TUBE and the LETTER FROM
HERON OF ALEXANDRIA. Go forward and turn right. Use the Pisces Medallion on the
column. Open both grates on the firebox and use the Lighter to start a fire.
Close both grates. Look above the firebox and pull the handle. Turn around
and pull another handle. Go forward and turn right. Take the GANGWAY.

Turn around and use the Leo Medallion to open the casket. Take the WATER,AIR
and FIRE DISC. Go up the steps and examine the instruments. Turn around,go
down the steps and talk to Iris.

[ The Observatory Garden ]

Go to the statues of Horus and Anubis and take out the plates. Turn left and
go across the bridge,turn right,go across the bridge and turn right. Use the
Gangway to go across to the overflow and open the valve.

[ The Secret Observatory ]

There is a crocodile in the way but he moves. Go forward and right. Press the
Moon button to lower the large container into the water. Use the Moldboard Tube
on the front of the container and open the valve. Open both grates to the
firebox,turn left and use the Empty Spade to shovel Heliolites in the firebox
(both sides) Thomas will say when they are full. Close the grates on the
firebox. Go forwards and turn right.

[ The Final Puzzle ]

Place the Virgo Medallion in the middle.
Place the Air Disc on top.
Place the Water Disc on the bottom right
Place the Fire Disc on the bottom left



{ Bad Luck Guide }


[ The Observatory Garden ]

Look in the right jar and take the STRIP OF PAPYRUS. Go forward and turn right.
Talk the PAPYRUS STICK. Go towards the pyramid,pick up IRIS'S WRITNING CASE,
turn left and pick up HALF OF A BROKEN STICK. Go forwards,turn left and pick
up another PAPYRUS STICK. Turn around,go past the pyramid and across the bridge
Turn right and forward. Look down and pick up another HALF OF A BROKEN STICK.
Go across the bridge,turn right and  pick up the PRECIOUS BRACELET.

Go across the bridge and turn left. Take the STRIP OF LEATHER,POT OF BITUMEN
and a METAL HOOK. Go back across both bridges,continue going forwards past the
Horus and Anubis statues and turn left. Use the Metal Hook and try and get the
papyrus from the overflow. Go across the bridge and turn right. Now how do we
reach the papyrus? Go to your Inventory. Combine both Half Of A Broken Stick
and the Pot Of Bitumen to make a MENDED STICK. Combined the Mended Stick and
the Strip Of Papyrus.

Now combine both Papyrus Stick with the Strip Of Leather to make a POLE. Use .
the Pole to get the WATER DAMAGED PAPYRUS. Turn left,forward and look down.
Pick up AKKAD'S HALF CROWN. Turn left and take the PART OF A THEATRICAL MASK.
Go back to the side of the pyramid where Thomas said it was hot! Put the Water
Damaged Papyrus on the side of the pyramid. Take the DRIED PAPYRUS. Go to your
Inventory. Combine Iris's Writing Case and the Dried Papyrus. Then combine
the Legible Papyrus and the Mended Stick.

Turn right,go across the bridge and turn right. Go across both bridges. Pick
up the BROKEN ARROW. Go to your Inventory. Take apart the Pole and the
Broken Arrow. Combine the Arrow Tip,Arrow Feathers,Mended Stick and the Pot
Of Bitumen to make an ASSEMBLED ARROW. Go back to the pyramid. Go forwards
across the bridge towards a sphere.

[ The Celestial Sphere Puzzle ]

According to the Dried Papyrus and what Iris said " correctly name the Arrow
constellation and the two places it points to" Spin the sphere until you see
the Constellation of the Arrow. Place the cursor on the arrow and letters
appear. Also letter appear on Constellation of Pegusus and Constellation of
Pisces. Press the square buttons to input the letters...

Turn around,go across the bridge,left,forward and face the Eros statue. Click
on the bow to stretch the string. Place the Assembled Arrow in the bow. Click
on the bow and arrow one time to positon it. Turn around and press The sign of
Sagittarius. Enter Akkad's Workshop.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

On the shelf take AKKAD'S NOTES. Look down and examine the tables. Turn around
and go forward. Open the cabinet and take THE STORY OF ENUMA ANU ENLIL. Look
on the wine rack and take the LETTER FROM THE LIBRARIAN. Turn right and go
towards the desk. Examine Akkad's universal calender. Take the SMALL TASSETTE
out of the bowl. Take the SMALL PLIERS,SMALL BOARD and LETTER TO IRIS from
the desk.

Look up on the shelf beside the calender and take the NOTCHED ROD. Turn around
and take the PAPYRUS WITH MONTHS laying in the chair. Go to your Inventory.
Combine the Small Pliers,Small Board and the Small Tassette to make a PILE OF
TAGS. Put the Pile Of Tags in the empty bowl. Turn right and go forward. Take
THE HELIOLAB laying on the table and pick up the TABLET MOLD. Turn around and
grab the LIGHTER. Open the curtain and go up the stairs.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Take the ANCIENT ROD FOR TAGS from Akkad's heliolab. Turn around and open the
chest,take the PAPYRUS CONTAINING CODES. Go forward and pick up the CLEPSYDRA.
Go back down stairs.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

[ The Notched Rod Puzzle ]

This is how I solved this puzzle. Look down and use the Notched Rod on the
table. Look back in your Documents,The Code Papyrus. Notice the small tags
are vowels A,E,I,O,Y and the large tags are consonant. Look at Akkad's
calender and look at the word "Arasammu" Which letters are vowels and which
letters are consonant? On the Notched Rod place the large and small tags in
this order from left to right. Small,Large,Small,Large,Small,Large,Large,Small.
Take the ROD WITH TAGS and go up stairs.


[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Use the Rod With Tags on Akkad's heliolab. Turn the hand on the back on the
heliolab to turn the spring. Click on the small wooden "tag" in front of the
spring to turn the heliolab.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Pick up the BROKEN NECKLACE. Go to your Inventory and take the Broken Necklace
apart to get a papyrus. Continue going forward. Click on the green Sobek statue
To talk to the Crocodile guardian. He ask you to make two ushabti figurines,but
you only need to make one. Take the USHABTI FIGURINE laying on the small table.

[ Akkad's Workshop ]

Turn around and grab one handful of CLAY. Go to your Inventory. Combine the
Clay,Ushabti Figurine and the Tablet Mold to make a UNBAKED USHABTI HALF
MOLD (Front) Combine thte same exact items again to make a UNBAKED USHABTI
HALF MOLD (Back) Turn and go to the furnace. Put some Dry Leaves (laying on the
ground) in the furnace and use the Lighter to start a fire. Put the Unbaked
Ushabti Half Mold (Front) in the fire. Use the Kiln Tongs (hanging up) to take
out the BAKED USHABTI HALF MOLD (Front)

Do the same exact thing to the Unbaked Ushabti Half Mold (Back) Use the Klin
Tongs to take out the BAKED USHABTI HALF MOLD (Front) Go back and get one
handful of Clay. Go your Inventory. Combine the Clay,Baked Ushabti Half Mold
Front & Back to make a UNBAKED USHABTI FIGURINE. Go to the furnace,make a
fire,put the Unbaked Ushabti Figurine in the fire and use the Kiln Tongs to
take out the USHABTI FIGURINE. Also go ahead and grab one handful of Clay.

[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Put both Ushabti Figurine's on the small table. Talk to the Crocodile guardian.

[ The Observatory Garden ]

You should be facing the pyramid. Turn right,go across the bridge,right across
the bridge and turn left. Go to your Inventory and take apart the Clepsydra to
get a LOWER HALF OF CLEPSYDRA. Take the Lower Half Of Clepsydra and fill it
with water to the 12 hour mark. Go to Akkad's mausoleum.

[ Akkad's Mausoleum Door Puzzle ]

Read the glyphs "I was born at one;at three already a man I was;at five I was
aged,past my prime;when nine shall chime the hour,the tomb gates shall open."
Notice the bronze stopper is missing on the far right. Use the Clay to fill the
hole. Use the Lower Half Clepsydra full of water to fill the (top) holes with
water. Starting on the left going right.

Fill the 1st hole to the 1 hour mark.
Fill the 2nd hole to the 3 hour mark.
Fill the 3rd hole to the 5 hour mark
Go back at fill the Clepsydra with water to the 9 hour mark.
Fill the 4th hole to the 9 hour mark.


[ Akkad's Mausoleum ]

Go forward and look down. Use the Lighter to light the oil lamp. Turn right
and go towards the large jars. Open the jar on the right and take the STATUETTE
OF ANUBIS. Look on the ground,flip the head over and take the STATUETTE OF
HORUS. Open the jar in the middle and take the STATUETTE OF THOTH.
Open the jar on the right and take the STATUETTE OF ISIS. Go around the tomb
and examine the depiction on the wall.

[ The Egyptain Box Puzzle ]

Examine and read the depiction on the wall to see where the Statuette's go.

Place Iris on the bottom left black square.
Place Thoth above Iris.
Place Horus on the bottom right black square.
Place Anubis above Horus


[ The Garden Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Place the Statuette's the same exact way you did in Akkad's mausoleum.
Place Iris on the bottom left back square
Place Thoth beside Iris.
Place Horus on the bottom right black square.
Place Anubis beside Horus.
Enter the library.

[ The Hall Of Honor Of The Great Library Of Alexandria ]

Turn around and take the GRAPPLING HOOK. Turn back around and go left. Pick
up the DIGGING BAR laying on the ground. Go forward,left,forward. Take the ROPE
laying on the ground next to the crocodile. Turn around and go towards the man
sitting on the other side of the room. Talk to Kordax. When you get done
talking enter the next room. Turn right and take the INVENTORY OF INGREDIENTS.
On the next shelf take the PILE OF 4 BOWLS. Use the Pile Of 4 Bowls and take
the following.

Makkan seed
Lullubi flower
Gray nugget
White nugget
Canaan thorns
Uruku root
Melukhkha bone
Red powder
Grey powder
White powder
Black powder
Green powder
Ochre powder
Yellow powder
White powder
Orange powder

{ The Laboratory }

Take THE PRUSIAS PROPERTIES laying beside the Empty bowl. THE ZOILOS
REACTIONS (turn left) laying on a board. THE DIOMEDES REACTIONS hanging
on the wall. Turn around and pick up the EMPTY DECANTER sitting on the shelf.
Go to your Inventory and place a bowl in one of the holders. All of the bowls
will automatically go in their holders.

{ Making The Solvent }

Read the papyrus you found in the broken necklace.

Take the Empty bowl and fill it with water (the jar on the right)
Add 1 handful of Lullibi flower
2 handfuls of Makkan seeds
2 handfuls of Uruka roots
1 handful of Canaan thorns
Use the Empty Decanter on the bowl to get the SOLVENT.
Empty the bowl in the left jar.

Turn around and go back to where the crocodiles are. Turn right and go towards
the column. Use the Solvent on all four columns to remove the paint. Notice
there are roman numerals on the column. Use the Digging Stick on the column.
Go to your Inventory and combine the Grappling Hook and the Rope to make
ROPE AND GRAPPLING HOOK.

Turn around and go to the crocodile,Use the Rope And Grappling Hook on the
crocodiles necklace. Go back to the column and attach the Rope to the Digging
Bar. Go back to the crocodile,Souchoul and click on his head. The Crocodile
guardian will tell you to go out to the garden and grab the stick. So,go out to
the garden and get SOBEK'S STAFF. Go back inside and use the Sobek's Staff
on Souchoul and he will turn the column for you.

In order to turn another column you have to remove the Rope from the Digging
Bar,take the Digging Bar and use it on another column,attach the Rope to the
Digging Bar and use Sobek's Staff on Souchoul.

[ The Four Columns Puzzle ]

Look back at the papyrus you got from the Broken Necklace "The first four
prime numbers will open the door " Turn each column to these roman numerals.
From left to right. II,III,V,VII or 2,3,5,7.


Enter the secret chamber,look down and click on the tablets laying in the chair
Talk to Kordax. Look down,open the basket and take the FORMULA FOR THE
MORPHEUS DRAFT and FILLETS OF DRIED FISH. Enter the Laboratory.

{ Making Kordax's Soothing Balm } (Thanks to MaGtRo Walkthrough)

First we have to make the Ashod resin/Ataniya roots and Tjekker flowers,we
don't have them yet. Fill the Empty bowl with water.

Ataniya Roots-1 handful or Kerma powder,2 handfuls of Arsawa powder,2 handfuls
of Pitassa gum and 1 handful of Gray powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it full of water.

Tjekker Flowers-1 handful of Mitanni gum,2 handfuls of Arsawa powder and White
powder (4th bowl from the left)

Empty the bowl and fill it full of water.

2 handfuls of Melukhkha bones
2 handfuls of Ataniya roots
2 handfuls of Canaan thorns
2 handfuls of Tjekker flowers

Use the Fillets Of Dried Fish on the Soothing Balm and take the SOPORIFIC FISH.
Turn around,go back to Kordax and feed the Soporific Fish to the crocodile.

[ Isles Of Pharos ]

Turn right and go towards the galley. Turn left and open the chest. Take the
HAMMER and CHISEL. Use the Chisel on the beam to get A PIECE OF WOOD.
Turn right and open the chest. Take the NEEDLE AND REEL OF THREAD and
FRAYING INSTRUMENT. There is also a sail but it's too heavy. Use the Fraying
Instrument on the sail to get LARGE SECTION OF SAIL. Go to your Inventory and
combine the Fraying Instrument with the Large Section Of Sail to get (3) SMALL
STRIP(S) OF SAIL. Now combine the Small Strip Of Sail to the Needle And Reel
Of Thread to make an OPEN BAG.

Notice the Needle came out of the Thread. Combine the same exact items so you
have three Open Bags. Go back to the dock and use all three Open Bags on the
pile of sand to get three SANDBAGS. Turn right and go towards the Cyclops
(catapult) Look down and pick up the BROKEN PEG. Go forward and turn left.
Take the WOODEN FRAME and the BALL OF STONE.

Turn around and look down. Put the three sandbags laying on the ground in the
counterweight. Now take the three Sandbags in your Inventory and put them in
the counterweight. Pick up the Ladder and put up against the Cyclops. Go to
your Inventory and combine the Broken Peg,A Piece Of Wood,Hammer and Chisel
to make a NEW PEG. Pick up the Winch Cable Loop laying on the ground and go up
the ladder.

Put the Winch Cable Loop on the pulley,and put the New Peg on the pulley. Huh,
what do ya know the New Peg broken! Well we have to make another New Peg.
You should know how to make another New Peg,when you get one made put it in
the pulley. Go down the Ladder and put the Ladder back on the ground. Look
underneath the wheel and turn the peg to the left. Now turn the wheel. Take
and put the Catapult sling in the middle of the Cyclops.

Put the Ball Of Stone in the Catapult sling. Pick up the hook (laying on the
ground) and attach it to the arm (look above the wheel) Use the Hammer to
hit the New Peg. Go up to the lighthouse and pick up the Ball Of Stone.
Go down to the Cyclops and pick up the Winch Cable Loop. Use the Hammer to
hit the New Peg. Go back up to the lighthouse. Great! The Ball Of Stone busted.
Now what! Look up and take the RUBBLE.

Go to your Inventory and combine the Rubble,Hammer,Chisel and the Wooden Frame
to make a STONE MISSLE. Once again,go back down to the Cyclops,pick up the
Winch Cable Loop and use the Hammer to hit the New Peg. Finally! Go inside the
lighthouse.

[ Lighthouse Of Alexandria ]

Turn around and pick up the CHAINMAIL. Go to your Inventory and combine the
Chainmail,Wooden Frame and Reel Of Thread to make a Sieve. Go back outside,
turn around and look down. Take the Large Fragment and place them on the stone.
Use the Sieve on the pile of sand 5 times to get Small Fragments. Put the Small
Fragment in place and read the plaque. Go back inside the lighthouse and go
forward,left and forward.

[ The Metal Casket Puzzle ]

Oh look! The wheels are twisted. Use the Hammer on the wheels to fix them.
Read the text underneath the Casket "You...who built this lighthouse,become
the guardian of the sun chariot..." Look in your Documents for the plaque.
Who built the lighthouse? Sostratos! Now look on the piece of paper for
Sostratos written in Greek. On the Metal Casket rotate the letters...
E* Y E omega symbol E* T P A T O E* O E* Press the round piece that has the
letters T P A. Take the LETTER and pull the lever. Turn around and go to the
counterweight.

[ Appolo's Chariot Puzzle ]

Notice on the ground six of the weights are broken.
Go outside to the counterweight on the Cyclops and grab two Sandbags.
Take all the weights off the counterweight.
Put 10 weights in the chariot.
Pull the rope to bring the counterweight back down.
Put 6 weights in the counterweight and 2 Sandbags on top of the counterweight.
Untie the rope.
Get in the chariot and take out 9 weights.


[ The Hydra Chamber ]

Go to the center of the room and talk to Iris. When your done talking turn left
and read the inscription underneath the winch. "Three Gorgons guard the sun,
call them and the light shall be yours"

[ Three Gorgon Sisters Puzzle]

Go back to the center of the room . Look in your Documents for the plaque.
There are three names in red. Look down and press the gold buttons in this
order.The three names in red is the clue.

[ The Great Prism Puzzle ]

Go up and turn the winch. Go to the center of the room and look up at the
bottom of the prism. If there is a square plate on the bottom,these are
booby-traps. Examine the three that don't have the square plates. Then look
straight down and pull the ropes. You have to examine all three that don't have
square plates in order to pull the ropes. Talk to Iris.


[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris. Go down stairs and Kordax will call for you. Look at the bottom
of the stairs and pick up PART OF A MASK. Go to your Inventory and combine
Part Of A Mask and Part Of A Theatrical Mask to find out it's the same mask.

[ Akkad's Home ]

Go inside and talk to Kordax. Turn around and take the FRAGRANCE FORMULA
from the small table. Turn right and examine the door,looks like someone broke
in here. Talk to Kordax about the door.

Talk to Iris.

Take the Dirty Washbowl and empty it.

According to the Fragrance Formula we don't have any of these,so we have to
make them.

Nuzi leaves-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Yellow powder

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water.

Ashur leaves-1 handful of Mitanni gum,2 handfuls of Pitassa gum,1 handful of
Orange powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Kassite bark-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Orchre powder

Empty the bowl fill and it with fresh water

Masa thorns-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Arsawa powder,1 handful of
Green powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Teresh roots-1 handful of Kerma powder,1 handful of Arsawa powder,1 handful of
Pitassa gum,1 handful of Black powder

Empty the bowl fill it with fresh water.

Ashod resin-1 handful of Mittanni gum,2 handfuls of Arsasa powder,2 handfuls

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Askelon seeds-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Kerma powder,2 handfuls
of Pitassa gum,1 handful of Red powder.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Arrapha resin-1 handful of Mitanni gum,1 handful of Pitassa gum,1 handful of
White nugget.

Empty the bowl and fill it with fresh water

Now that we have everything made put the following in the bowl.

NOTE:You can use Ataniya roots or Ashod resin it dosen't matter.

2 handfuls of Melukhkha bones
2 handfuls of Ataniya roots or 2 handfuls of Ashod resin
2 handfuls of Canaan thorns
2 handfuls of Tjekker flowers
2 handfuls of Nuzi leaves
1 handful of Ashur seeds
2 handfuls of Kassite bark
2 handfuls of Masa thorns
1 handful of Teresh root

Use Kordax washbowl and use it on the posion and fragrance. Take the POSIONED
AND FRAGRANCED WASHBOWL.

[ Akkad's Home ]

Place the Posion And Fragranced Washbowl beside Kordax. Oh no! He's immune to
the poison. Take the washbowl and go up stairs.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris then go back to the Laboratory.

{ The Laboratory }

Empty the wash bowl and empty the bowl if needed and fill it full of fresh
water. Put these plants in the bowl in this order.

2 handfuls of Nuzi leaves
1 handful of Ashur seed
2 handfuls of Kassite bark
2 handfuls of Masa thorns
1 handful of Teresh root
2 handfuls of Melukhkha bone
Use the Precious Bracelet on the bowl.
Use Kordax's washbowl to get the fragrance and posion washbowl.

[ Akkad's Home ]

Place the washbowl next to Kordax. Look in his bag next to his feet and take
the ROD WITH TAGS and HALF OF THE CROWN AKKAD. Click on the Horn of Kordax
laying on the bed.

[ The Observatory Terrace ]

Talk to Iris.

[ Akkad's Mausoleum ]

Go to your Inventory and combine Half Of The Crown Of Akkad and Akkad's Half
Crown. The Taurus Medallion and Aries Medallion fall out of the crown. Now
combine Akkad's Crown and the Small Pliers,the other 10 Medallions also fall
out of the crown. Look at the freso as soon as you walk in. The Taurus
Medallion is on the left and The Aries Medallion is on the right. Go around to
the back of the tomb.

Look up at the two bearers on the solar barque. Put the Taurus Medallion in
the arms of the bearer on the left. Put the Aries Medallion in the arms of the
bearer on the right. Something opened. Go to the left of the tomb and examine
the freso. There are three astrological signs. Sagittarius,Capicorn and
Aquarius. And there are x amount of demons for each sign.

Go around to the other side of the tomb. There are also three astrological
signs. Gemini,Cancer and Scorpio. And again x amount of demons for each
sign. Go back to the front of the tomb. So that's what opened.

[ The Tomb/Clock Puzzle ]

Turn the rod of the Sun to 12:00.Turn the rod of the Moon to 7:00. Place the
Medallions in the slots. Gemini,Cancer,Scorpio,Sagittarius,Capricorn,Aquarius.
Like the signs we saw on the fresco. On each corner of the "clock" there are
Rods. Place the Rods in the Medallions. Remember on the fresco,the demons
for each sign is the clue.

Aquarius-All Four Corners
Capricorn-Top Left,Bottom Left,Bottom Right
Sagittarius-Top Left,Top Right,Bottom Right
Scorpio-Bottom Left
Cancer-All Four Corners
Gemini-Bottom Left,Bottom Right


[ The Secret Observatory ]

Use the Lighter to light the oil lamp and go down the steps. Turn around
and open the box. Take AKKAD LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. Use the Libra
Medallion to open the casket. Take the MOLDBOARD TUBE and the LETTER FROM
HERON OF ALEXANDRIA. Go forward and turn right. Use the Pisces Medallion on the
column. Open both grates on the firebox and use the Lighter to start a fire.
Close both grates. Look above the firebox and pull the handle. Turn around
and pull another handle. Go forward and turn right. Take the GANGWAY. Turn
around and use the Leo Medallion on the casket. It's empty! Turn right,go up
the steps,turn left and take the BEAM. Talk to Iris.

[ The Observatory Garden ]

Go forward towards the statue of Horus and Anubis and take the plates out from
behind the statues heads. Turn left,go across both bridges and turn right. Use
the Gangway to go across. The trapdoor is shut! Use the Beam to bust open
the trapdoor. Open the overflow.

[ The Secret Observatory ]

How on earth did that crocodile get way down here? Use Sobek's Staff on him.
Go forward,turn right and press the Moon button to lower the large container.
Use the Moldboard Tube on the front of the container and open the valve.
Open both grates on the firebox and use the Empty spade to shovel Heliolites
in the firebox (both sides) Thomas will say when they are full. Close both
grates on the firebox. Oh look! I wonder what this is in the Heliolites. Take
the FIRE,AIR and WATER DISC. Go forward and right.

[ The Final Puzzle ]

Place the Virgo Medallion in the middle.
Place the Air Disc on top.
Place the Water Disc on the bottom right
Place the Fire Disc on the bottom left
