Introduction AMF Pro Bowl 3D is the best bowling game there is. It offers realism unmatched by its competitors. Even professional bowling alley clerks have said that the sounds are so realistic one thinks they are actually at a bowling alley! This FAQ will introduce the bowlers you can choose, the balls you can play with, the alleys you can select, and the amazing Create-a-Bowler feature. ================ 2. Bowlers 2.a Bill Bowler Bill is a professional bowler who has been bowling since he was 3. He is an excellent precision bowler, but doesn't always have the power to knock down all of the pins. 2.b Bobby Bowler Bobby bowler is Bill Bowler's brother, and he is a power bowler. He can't hit lone pins, but he usually does not have to, as he almost always gets a strike. 2.c Ice Cream Jimmy Ice Cream Jimmy is a joke character. He normally works the concession stand selling ice cream, but he can be selected as your character while bowling. He is a mediocre bowler, not powerful enough to be considered a power bowler, and not precise enough to be considered a precision bowler. 2.d Kyle Klinski Kyle goes over the line too often, but he is the most powerful bowler of the game. He sends the ball head-first through the pins, demolishing everything in its way. 2.e Alexi Harris Alexi Harris is a male bowler, but he wears a scarf, and prefers to bowl with the Pansy ball. He is an extreme precision bowler, not having enough power to get a strike most of the time. 2.f Samantha Pook Samantha is from the farm. She offers a very powerful bowl, but with little precision. The gutter is often where her balls go! 2.g Sally Frack Sally is a precision bowler, with mediocre power. She can be used to get a strike now and then, but most often gets spares. She is better at getting spares than Bill Bowler, but not as good as Alexi. 2.h Oliver Ching Oliver Ching is bowler from the Orient, also known as The Grandmaster. He combines the maximum power, and the maximum precision. But it takes a lot of effort to get the timing right, and he will over-toe if you're not exactly on- target. It is easiest to roll a perfect game using Oliver Ching. ================ 3. Bowling Balls 3.a The Golden Ball This ball is made out of pure gold. You'll get at least one turkey (3 strikes) during a game in which you use this ball. Unlock this ball by rolling a perfect game (score: 300). 3.b The Ice Cream Ball This ball is a joke ball. It is made out of ice cream and melts about 3/4 of the way to the pins. Do not use it if you are a serious bowler. 3.c The Grandmaster The Grandmaster is a yellow colored ball meant for precision bowlers. It is easy to watch as it travels down the lane, and it is fast. It has excellent spin, and curves well. 3.d The Pansy This ball is pink. It is the default ball for Samantha, Sally, and Alexi. It is otherwise unremarkable. 3.e The Highland Dancer This ball is the default ball for Bill, Bobby, Kyle and Oliver. It is plaid colored, and radical. You are guaranteed at least one spare for each game. 3.f The Horse Racer This ball is an optional ball. It has horses on it. It is best for power bowlers. ================ 4. Bowling Alleys 4.a Professional Bowling Hut This is shaped like a pizzeria. It is all pizza-themed. The sides of the alley building have pizza murals. You can order pizza at the concession stands between matches during tournament play. 4.b 6th Avenue Bowlerama This is on 6th Avenue. It has fast lanes, and slow ball returns. Otherwise, it is unremarkable. 4.c 5 Pin's Alley 5 Pin's Alley is run by an old man named 5 Pin. He is forgetful, so sometimes you can bowl without paying the lane fee! This is helpful when you're just starting out, and you're not yet making money off of the professional tournaments. 4.d Three Blind Mice Alleys This alley only has three lanes. It is old, and the lanes are short. Don't bowl this as a precision bowler, as your ball will have no time to curve into the pins. ================ 5. Create a Bowler The Create-a-Bowler feature is supreme. It allows one to select a bowler template. Then they can set various parameters, including the bowler's height, weight, clothing, skin color, nationality, sunglasses, finger lengths, stride length, and many, many more! Hair: mullet, orange, short Eyes: no eyes, blue, green, brown Height: 5'0" - 7'0" Weight: 130 lbs - 500 lbs Sunglasses: yes, no Finger Lengths: short, medium, long Stride Length: short, medium, long Clothing: yes, no For a power bowler, select long fingers, heavy weight, sunglasses, and a mullet. For a precision bowler, select short fingers, a low weight, no sunglasses, and no mullet. The height of a bowler has no effect on their power or precision. ================ 6.
