Legal issues ************************************************* - Don't Kill steal other's mobs - Try not to let anyone in the party die, especially the healer - Don't deliberately try to scam someone - If someone drops a item, return it to them - Try to use proper grammar and spelling at all times, i.e. dunt talk lyke dis - Don't ask for dropped items in a By sequence party. If it is offered for sale/gift, then by all means go ahead, but do try to keep it in private message. Some people may not like it. The market is there for a reason. If you want the items for yourself, don't party. If you can't have your 'stolen' item(s), do NOT announce throughout the server and get people zp-ed for no reason. --------------------------------------------------- -The scroll wheel ***ms in and out of the screen. -Holding scroll wheel while moving it around will change the camera angle. -Ctrl + click on a monster will continue to use normal attacks on it until it dies. -Right clicking on a monster will use the current skill. -There's also some options that will let you bring out a mini hp gauge below your character for convenience and an option to auto attack. -Pressing ctrl will reveal all player names. --------------------------------------------------- -add $ before your message to broadcast to everyone -add # before your message to broadcast to your party members -add % before your message to broadcast to your guild members -add @ and the person you wish to private message to whisper to that person --------------------------------------------------- Now, let's start with the basics; character stats. Pressing 'c' activates this screen. Int - This stat is SPI, which is required to raise INT tree skills. For example, if a skill requires 54SPI, then you need 54INT. It raises magic damage! For a QIGONG that is not POW, you just raise this stat only because it will help you to learn skills faster and make your damage high. POW - This stat is POW, which is required for POW tree skills. It raises damage and some HP. Dex - This stat is required for DEX tree skills. It slightly increases bow damage, avoid, and some DEF. VIT - This stat adds HP. STM - This stat adds stamina. Generally, you don't need to add to VIT/STM because they are not needed to equip equipment or learn skills. --------------------------------------------------- There are 4 different classes in this game. Knight, Fighter, Archer, and QiGong. I will do a brief rundown of the main characteristics of these classes. ~~~~~Knight~~~~~~ He uses a sword and does most of his damage close range. He has quite good defense and high hp. He is often the tank of the team and does high area damage. ~~~~~Fighter~~~~~~~~ He uses His fists to deal damage. His punches do low damage but he attacks extremely fast. His skills are powerful as well. He is often the tank of the team and does high area damage. ~~~~~Archer~~~~~~~~ Archers deal damage from afar and have many skills that do high single target damage as well as some big AOE effect skills. They usually have quite low defense but high avoid rate. They're usually at the back of the team picking off weak targets. ~~~~~QiGong~~~~~~~~ They're primary magic users. The SPI types deal massive AOE damage with deadly status effects. The support QGs utilizes many healing skills and buffs. The POW QGs deal high damage at the cost of low def. QGs usually have the lowest DEF and HP of all. --------------------------------------------------- ~~~~~Archer~~~~~~~ There are 3 types of archers, but they all specialize in more than 1 tree. This is because they require some passive skills from other trees to be more effective. EG, all archers need the passive skill from INT 'blood arrow' that passively adds more damage. The first type of archer is easiest to build and is the build I'm following right now because this build of archer requires no waters later on but is arguably the weakest of all 3. Here is the final skill tree for the INT+DEX archer: ~Common Tree~ Revive - Grade 0 Concentration - Grade Master Lightspeed - Grade 0 Range mastery - Grade Master ~Dex Tree~ Speed shot - master Kawasu - master Arrow storm - 3 Cripple shot - 0 Evasion chant - master Wrath of devil - 0 Triple shot - master Star fall - master Slow - master Spirit dance - master ~Int tree~ Shockwave - Blood arrow - master Basically, for this build, you only need to add Dex. Let INT come from leveling up and equipment and add to blood arrow this way. But be prepared that you won't have blood arrow until Lv70+ at least. 1 change you can make here is to max out arrow storm: according to my calculations, you won't need to wipe until at least lv107. Next is the INT+DEX+POW with emphasis on Dex tree: ~Common Tree~ Revive - Grade 0 Concentration - Grade Master Lightspeed - Grade 0 Range mastery - Grade Master ~Pow Tree~ Force shot - master Bow attack - 3 Penetration - 1[if want attack more mobs, add more] Bow mastery - master Kickshot - master ~Dex Tree~ Speed shot - master Kawasu - master Arrow storm - 3 Cripple shot - 0 Evasion chant - master Wrath of devil - no Triple shot - choose between this or star fall(triple shot is better for PK) Star fall - choose between this or triple shot (star fall is better for leveling) Spirit of dance - master, then use water to give up kick shot ~Int tree~ Shockwave-2 Blood arrow - master As you can see, the skills from POW and INT trees are mainly passive skills while the damaging skills come from Dex. The problem with build is that you'll get skills a couple levels later than everyone, and be prepared to use waters. Next up is the INT+DEX+POW version with emphasis on POW tree: ~Common Tree~ Revive - Grade 0 Concentration - Grade Master Lightspeed - Grade 0 Range mastery - Grade Master ~Pow Tree~ Force shot - master Bow attack - prerequisite points only Penetration -master Bow mastery -master Kick shot - 1 Enhanced force shot - prerequisite points Pin shot - master Conduct shot - master Tiger strike - no Phoenix - master ~Dex Tree~ Speed shot - prerequisite Kawasu - master ~Int Tree~ Shockwave -2 Blood arrow - master As you can see, this build emphasis on heavy damage but slow skills but also has the supporting passive skills from the other trees. This build is excellent for PK because you can just stand behind your guild mates and dish out the damage. And this concludes the 3 builds of archer. It goes from easy -> Me***m -> Hard with the last build being the hardest to make. ~~~~~QiGong~~~~~~~~ *****Support QiGong****** If you want to be this type of QiGong, be prepared for a lot of stress and slow leveling at the beginning. All you'll be doing is trying to keep your party alive with nonstop healing and maintaining all the buffs. All parties need a 'Healer' though because it makes leveling so much easier especially later on when you get group heal and all the different buffs that are extremely useful. The early stages of this character are extremely difficult and challenging. IMO, a support QiGong is definitely the hardest character to play as. Anyways, for stats you want to add purely INT so you can get the skills on time. On to the skill build! Refresh - Lv4 Vampiric Attack - Lv3 HP transfer - Lv3 Inspire - Lv2 Fortify - Lv9 MP boost - Lv1 Enhanced Vampiric attack - Lv0 Revitalize - Lv9 Speed up - Lv3 Scroll of Vitality - Lv9 Confusive Strike - Lv9 Lava Eruption - Lv0 Team Agility - Lv9 Frenzy Attack - Lv0 or Lv9 Resurrection - Lv1 Spear Summoning - Lv9 --------------------------------------------------- Note: The other classes I haven't played so I can't comment on them. But here's the general strategy: POW tree = powerful, you'll do heavy damage but take more damage than Dex. This type is good for PK. Dex tree = tank, you'll do lower damage but take less damage than Pow. This type is good for leveling. Int tree = AOE, you can attack a lot of monsters at once for heavy damage and you can cast magic fast. But in PK, if the enemies have a lot of magic resistance then your spells won't do a lot of damage. This type is very good for leveling as well. First pick a tree to specialize in, POW, Dex, or INT and decide you want any other skills from another tree (Usually a passive skill that increases damage). Level the skills just enough so that it fulfills the prerequisite for the next skill. The reason for this is that the starting skills are usually weak compared to the final skills. But there are some exceptions to this rule: You generally always max the passive skills and there might be an early skill that you will end up using even when you learn other skills such as archer's speed shot. You will be using that skill forever! So the best thing to do is to find out such information before you make the character or you'll end up having to use a Water later on! They cost a LOT, just trust me. I've already laid a skill build for archers and support QG, but they're not that accurate since I am not lv127! So follow these builds with your own jurisdiction and judgment. There are always some leeway and room for customization in this game. --------------------------------------------------- Water A -Reset all skills Water B -Reset all skills -Reset 30 stat points starting with the least added stat and so forth Water C -Reset all skills -Reset 60 stat points starting with the least added stat and so forth --------------------------------------------------- There are items that are used to increase the attack of weapons and defense of armor. For example, the +defense potion can be used to increase the DEF of armor. If you see a glove with 3(+8)[+4], this means the armor has been upgraded 4 times for a total of 11 DEF! These potions are very expensive. Around 2 million at the time of writing with names such of Var Bur. Lux Pot, stones, etc. You don't really need these when you start out since they are too expensive but when you are high leveled you'll want to upgrade your equipment. --------------------------------------------------- This card will let you teleport instantly to any friend on your friend list. This card is usually on sale in the market but it's extremely expensive! You can also buy this card with e-points a.k.a. real money. --------------------------------------------------- You can only open shops if you buy a permit with e-points! It is non transferable so you won't find them for sale in markets. --------------------------------------------------- This is used to broadcast your message globally. The method of usage is to put a $ in front of your message. ATM, the price for 1 megaphone is 40-50k and it can only be used once! Max 30 in a stack. --------------------------------------------------- To add someone to your party, shift + click on the person and select party. --------------------------------------------------- To trade with someone, shift + click on him/her and select trade. --------------------------------------------------- To duel with someone, shift + click on someone and select duel. Once you start duel, you cannot heal and cannot leave the 'invisible circle' around you and your opponent or the duel will end in a draw. There is no penalty to losing in a duel; it's just for fun and to put your skills to the test. PK is when you kill students from other schools during free-PK hours outside of the school compound. You get 2 Attr points for killing a student from another school, but beware that when you die, you can drop anything from your inventory or equipment. Zap can be used to kill students from the same school or other students during non-PK hours. You have to hold z while you attack. Beware that you lose 1 Attr point for each attack inflicted and when your Attr goes under a certain amount then you suffer certain penalties such as not being able to trade with NPCs or opening your locker so think before you 'zap' someone! If you don't want to be PKed during PK hours, there are some strategies you can use. -If you duel with someone then you are invincible as long as you are in duel mode, so hit your opponent once in awhile to remain in duel state! -Run, Run, Run! -Help defend your school, kill all the PKers... -Train in more secluded places and avoid major roads. -Use the camp ret card to teleport to safety. --------------------------------------------------- -You can change your nickname by clicking on altern and type in your desired name. Note that the name can not have any spaces in between. -To make your own guild, talk to student director; note that you need a differing amount of life points to create guilds of different sizes. --------------------------------------------------- -There is a major typo in the force field activation quest. When they said you have to activate the terminal beside study room 2, they actually meant the terminal beside students center 2. The reward for this quest is a LOT of exp, 1 free skill point, and 10 life points, so don't miss this quest! -The physics teacher quest is very important as you get 5 SPI spheres that can be exchanged for a level 5 skill book that is usually very hard to come by! The physics teacher is located at the end of the school's hole. I.e., for mystic peak school, the physics teacher is at the end of the MP hole. --------------------------------------------------- Level 1 - 20 LittleDirtBag Monster Level: 2 HP: Approx. 180 Item Drop: Bread, MP Recv.
