1.0 - Introduction
------------------
This is a guide for the Master League of Pro Evolution Soccer 5, the greatest 
football game ever made. I won't tell you how to play the game, but I will say
what happens and what to do. I will say which players are the best and which are
the best to buy. 

This guide is copyright and so don't copy it. If you want to use it on your 
site, just e-mail me and i will give you permission if you ask nicely. At the 
original time of writing, only Gamefaqs may use this guide. 


2. What is the Master League?
-----------------------------
The Master League is Pro Evo's fantasy league where you take a team of no hopers
and make them into something special. This is a tricky task because of course, 
the players that you get to begin with are hopeless. But there are a few gems
and these will some become the basis of your team for the future. I will expand
more in later sections, but there are loads of choices to make. There are two
different competitions in the Master League in the Master League; there is the 
league itself, but there is also the league cup that you take part in each
season. There are 2 other competitions, the WEFA Masters Cup and the WEFA
Championship, these are unlocked when your team gets really good. For winning, 
drawing or just scoring, you get points (P) that can then be spent on players. 
There are normal rules, 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. At 
the end of a season, you P must be equal to or higher than the overall wage 
bill of your team. 


3. Set-Up
---------
- Select Master League and go 'New Game'
- Do the curser settings, but it is recommended that you leave them as they are.
- Then you can choose the settings for the actual league;

ML Starting Points - (unlock from shop)
Match Time - 5/10/15/20/25/30 minutes
Game Level - 1*/2*/3*/4*/5*/6* (unlock from shop)
Group Name - 1-4/A-D
Auto Save - Yes/No
Strip Selection - Yes/No
Ball Type - (unlock from shop)
Ball Effect - (unlock from shop)

- You must then choose from 3 options; Master League default players, Match Mode
players or Create original team. 

*This is what the manual says about each mode*

- Master League default players - Start with common players, whichever team you 
                                  choose.

-Match Mode players - Start with the original members of the team used in Match
                      Mode.

-Create Original Team - Create your own personal team to start with. You can 
                        swap up to three players, but you cannot add players
                        created in edit mode to the roster.

I normally choose the last option because it makes the game much more fun, 
having big name players alongside nobodies. 


- If you choose 'Master League original players', you the have to choose a team
from the lists to take into the Master League. You can choose from the English 
League, French League, German League, Serie A, Eredivisie, Liga Espanola and
several other clubs from other leagues. Then you select which league yours will
filter into and then start the game. Here you will get the players created for
the Master League.

- If you choose 'Match Mode players', you the have to choose a team from the 
lists to take into the Master League. You can choose from the English League, 
French League, German League, Serie A, Eredivisie, Liga Espanola and several 
other clubs from other leagues. Then you select which league yours will filter 
into and then start the game. Here you will get the players that play for that
club in real life.

-If you choose 'Create Original Team', you then have to make a team name, strip
 and Emblem up. Also, you have to choose a stadium to claim as your own. You 
must then select which league yours will filter into. Choose from A,B,C or D. 
You can then choose up to three players to add to your list. You then begin the
game.

5.0 - First-team line-up (for a 3-5-2, A2R)

This team is set up to play very centrally with lots of passing on the floor and
plenty of through balls. they won't win many headers up front, and so short 
corners are a must. Fouque is a player who will develop a lot in time as he is
used, so keep him in the starting XI unless resting him. The only problem is the
age of many of the players. Several of them are 28+ and so will be retiring in 
less than 5 years. You should look to replace these with good, solid replacement
players who aren't too expensive.


6.0 - Exceptional Players
-------------------------
These are the players who will really boost the capabilities of the team or be a
goal-scoring demon. I have selected the 11 best players and put them into a 
'dream team'. Please note that there are many other exceptional players and 
several in the younger age group. (Wage is included with the player, so you can
aspire to own this team).

I can claim to have actually tried this team, almost unbeatable. Lost only once 
in ten seasons (and that was a penalty shoot-out in the D1 cup final). Anyone 
who can get this as their first team should be given a medal. The star of the 
team, surprisingly, is Martins. the lowest paid man has the best time of it. 
Give the ball to him an he will beat anyone, great value for money, a bargain
bucket pick-up.

7.0 - Credits
-------------
- Credit must be given to Konami for producing the greatest footballing game on 
the planet, it beats FIFA hands down anyday. 

- Anyone who can think of anything i should add in will be mentioned here, 
whether or not i actually do it.
