INTRODUCTION G0100 =============================================================================== Welcome to Batman Returns for the PC, a game released by Konami in 1992. This game has nothing in common with the the same title as released on other platforms. Suggestions, comments or errors - tell me about it. BASICS G0200 =============================================================================== Control Batman with the mouse. Select a destination when the Batman sign turns orange. When on the streets there are many options on your belt. Fight modes determine how hard you try, but you should always fight on fierce to make this easy. The Batmobile/Batship icon will get you back to your car. Press ESC for the menu:> Return To Game: Exit the menu screen. Exit To DOS: Exit the game Save Game: Saves the game Load Game: Load a saved game New Game: Starts a fresh game, but you'll lose any unsaved game you are currently playing. Advance Hours: This speeds up the hours if you need to wait for a certain time for events to happen. Whenever you are finished for a day, go into Wayne Manor and say 'Yes' to the question if you are done for the day. =============================================================================== 03.) WALKTHROUGH G0300 =============================================================================== ___Day 1___ ----- Go to Vault and select the Utility Belt. Fill your belt with the following items: 1x grapple 1x gauntlet 1x rope 1x lock pick 1x batarang 1x bolo batarang 2x sonic batarang (the batarangs refill automatically after a while) Enter the garage and watch TV in the batmobile. Afterwards drive off to Gotham Plaza. Go down into the streets and fight the enemies on fierce mode and with sonic batarangs to knock them out. Stun the clown with a bolo batarang and interrogate him. Ask for the leader and he'll hand you a fish. Finish up the rest of the enemies and exit to the batmobile. Drive toe the Mayor's Office and get the video tape in the top left corner of the room. Return to the batmobile and drive to the Batcave. Sit at the main computer and use Evidence. Enter the items and view them: Video Tape from Mayor's Office Frozen Fish Finally extrapolate all you can and go to Wayne Manor to end Day 1. ___Day 2___ ----- Go to the Garage and drive to the Fish Market. If the seller is not here, try again. After you've gotten the information, drive to the Zoo and go to the Ground. Pick up the Video Tape at the left side and go right one screen. Pick up the Circus Poster in the middle and knock out the clown with a bolo batarang. Interrogate the clown and ask for the plans. Drive to downtown, walk across to the opposite building and drop down. Advance the hours to midnight and fight the enemies including The Penguin. REturn to the batmobile, drive to the Batcave and sit at the Main Computer. Use Evidence to enter the items and view all new ones: Circus Poster Video Tape from Zoo Finally extrapolate both and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 2. ___Day 3___ ----- Go to the Garage and drive to the Fish Market. Then drive to Shrek's Office and pick up the crumbled paper from the table. Look at the globe and open the small drawer to find the note. Get into the batmobile and drive to Old Gotham Zoo. Get to the ground and pick up the advertising flyer. Return to the batmobile and drive to the Mayor's Office. Take the party pictures off the table. Drive back to the Batcave and sit at the Main Computer. Use Evidence to enter the items and view all new ones: Crumbled Floorplans Note from Shrek's Office Penguin Boy Flyer Photo's of Mayor's Son Finally extrapolate all and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 3. ___Day 4___ ----- Go to the Garage, watch TV and drive to the Fish Market. Then drive to the Mayor's Office. Pick up the feather at the desk and drive back to the Batcave. Use Evidence to enter the item and view the new one: Penguin Feather Finally extrapolate it and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 4. ___Day 5___ ----- Go to the Garage, watch TV and drive to the Mayor's Office. Pick up the remodeling plans on the table and the framed picture in the top left corner. Drive back to the Batcave and sit at the Main Computer. Use Evidence to enter the items and view all new ones: Framed Picture Remodeling Plans Now wait until midnight and drive to the Penguin's Headquarters. Climb through the air vent and take the video tape from the bed on the right. Drive back to the Batcave and sit at the Main Computer. Use evidence to enter the item and view the new one: Video Tape from the Penguin's Headquarter Finally extrapolate it and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 5. ___Day 6___ ----- Sit at the Main Computer and watch TV. Then leave the Main Computer and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 6. (*) ___Day 7___ ----- Sit at the Main Computer and watch TV. Then leave the Main Computer and go into Wayne Manor to end Day 7. (*) ___Day 8___ ----- Go to the Garage, watch TV and drive to the Fish Market. There is nothing to do here so drive to Gotham Plaza. The Penguin will take over the batmobile so just watch the scene until you return to the Batcave. Go into Wayne Manor to end Day 8. ___Day 9___ ----- Sit at the Main Computer, watch TV and once the Penguin has started his speech use the Video monitor to the Tape Recorded In Batmobile. At the party, do NOT show the evidence you have to Commissioner Gordon. Back in the Batcave, go to the Garage to get to your Batship. Drive Downtown and defeat the single enemy with a sonic batarang. Get back to the Batship and drive to the Old Gotham Zoo. Defeat all the enemies with sonic batarangs or bolo batarangs accordingly. Use a batarang on the Penguin so he runs off. Batman follows him so use another batarang in the next fight to complete the game. The End =============================================================================== 04.) FAQ G0400 =============================================================================== Q: Why don't you have to do anything on those 2 days marked with (*)? A: Because you have already finished everything up to this point and are just waiting for events to happen next. The game gives you a few days as buffer to find out what to do. If you do not by then, it is Game Over. Q: Is this the same 'Batman Returns' game on the ?
