The dungeons are separated into a lobby area and the hunting area. By utilizing colored triangular items known as plates on the the dungeon's "terminal" structure, a player can create small dungeon that only he and his party can enter. The trade-ff to this system is that spawns only occur once, eliminating any possibility of camping in dungeons. The plates are usually sold by the item shop that is in the dungeon's lobby. The NPC you should look for is a tan-colored midget that has a goat head and a gas mask. Each dungeon has its own set of colored plates, ranging from Bronze to Gold. Plates for one dungeon cannot be used in other dungeons. If you cannot use a certain plate on a terminal, check the label of the plate and make sure you are in the proper dungeon. At the end of the dungeon, there will always be a boss room. Defeating the boss and its minions will cause five green boxes to appear. These are treasure boxes. It is limited to one per party member, and the contents are random. ======= Parties ======= The maximum capacity for a single party is five. While a full party does make many dungeons easier, you will lose ten percent of any experience you gain for every party member you have, not including yourself. Consider the balance of firepower and experience before heading into any dungeons that you may be able to handle with fewer members. To invite a person to a party, right-click the person then and then select パーティ勧誘 from the drop-down menu that appears. If you are trying to invite someone from your Clan list of Friend list, you can right-click their name on the list and the drop-down menu will appear. Keep in mind that only people that are on the same Channel can be in the same party. To change Channels, select SYSTEM from the bottom-right hand corner and then select the first option, which is チャネル移動. You will be presented with list of channels. Double-click your desired channel and a ten second countdown will begin. Even if two people are on different channels, they can still communicate through TELL or the clan chat. Note that Channels are not the same as servers. As of 2008, there is the Cerberus(ケルベロス) server, and the Cu Chulain(クー・フーリン) server. You cannot transfer your character between these servers, so be careful when creating your character. ==================== Reviving a Character ==================== Should you die, have fellow players revive you. To allow them to do so, you must hit the last option available on the Death Menu. This should cause a player symbol with wings to appear next to your character name. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\Private Dungeons\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ =========================== =========================== Suginami Dungeon(スギナミ魔階坑道) =========================== =========================== Location:Suginami(スギナミ) X18/Y24 Plates:Bought from the dungeon's Yagi Shop. Special Traits:There are several treasure rooms that can be opened by using a certain number of Shining Ore(輝く鉄石) on the door when prompted. How the Shining Ore is obtained differs between the different levels of Suginami Dungeon. You cannot take any Shining Ore with you when starting a new dungeon run. The game will not let you create a new dungeon. Either throw them away with the 捨てる command in Item, or talk to the Yagi Shop and select 鉄石の引き取り. You will get one Revival Ring for trading in one Ore. One of the floor maps that could come up in this dungeon features two pathways that go to the left and right, and converge onto a center area. In order to open the golden door that leads to the teleporter in the center area, you must go through both the left and right paths and open the doors at the end of them. --------------- Bronze Level(鋼) --------------- Recommended level:-- How to gain Shining Ore:Randomly dropped by the devils within. Possible Treasure- Aquamarine Medical Powder Chakra Drop Revival Ring High-Quality Medicine Treasure Ball Agi Stone Nanbu Type-100 Bullet x20 -Boss Room- [Boss] Giant Garm -Weakness:Fire, Gun attacks -Resistance:Ice, Lightning, Curse, Mind -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- [Minions] Cait Siths -Weakness: Gun attacks -Resistance:Curse -Negates:Hama, Slash(random) -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Turquoise -Topaz -Garnet -Jade -Beginner's Incense -Experience Incense 1.2x -Evening Grail -Spirit Ash -Unnamed Blade -Renki Sword -Garm Collar(Male or Female) -Plain Intario-Fenrir -Notes- The beginner's dungeon. As long as you do not take on several devils at once, you will be fine. Watch out for the Sudamas and their suicide attack. -------------- Silver Level(銀) -------------- Recommended level:25-30(With Party) How to gain Shining Ore:Held by devils that have 饒舌な多弁家 in their names. Negotiate with them and Ore may appear if they leave you an item. Possible Treasure- Magic Stone Medical Powder Chakra Drop Revival Ring Medical Kit Magic Pearl Zio Stone Mangas Spear Kiyou Necklace (Male or Female) -Boss Room- [Boss] Spawn of the Pillar Decarabia -Weakness:Blunt, Pierce, Scattershot, Hama -Resistance:Ice, Lightning, Magic Force -Negates:Fire, Curse -Reflects:Thrust, Wind [Minions] Mutated Cait Siths -Weakness: Gun attacks -Resistance:All other attack types -Negates:-- -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Amethyst -Sapphire -Ruby -Mandara-Melon -Beginner's Incense -Experience Incense 1.5x -Evening Grail -Ichigaya Bunker:Silver Plate -Zan-Kou -Exorcist Fan -Sol Blade -Headhunter Spoon -Firefly Stone -Cait Sith's Feathered Cap(Male or Female) -Plain Intario-Decarabia -Notes- A higher level dungeon. As you can see from the boss room data, you want a gunner in your party. Use the barrier to your advantage and lure the Cait Siths to your area. Since the Cait Siths are very aggressive, you will be quickly surrounded if you go beyond the barrier. Most of the devils in the dungeon are weak to fire. Be sure to have access to fire attacks, and have some form of ice attack ready for when a Mutated Archangel shows up. ------------ Gold Level(金) ------------ Recommended level:55(You do not want to solo this dungeon) Level-specific notes:You need a DB License in order to enter this level. This story item is obtained when you complete Act Seven. How to gain Shining Ore:Randomly dropped by Mutated Power, or found in some treasure chests. Possible Treasure- Makka Magnanite Revival Ring Jack Frost Crystal Magic Charm:Temperence Magic Charm:Judgement Sould Stone:Capricorn -Boss Room- [Boss] Pure Stone Earthies -Weakness:Fire, Wind, Magic Force -Resistance:Ice -Negates:Hama, Curse -Reflects:Lightning Pure Drop Aquans -Weakness:Fire, Lightning -Resistance: -Negates:Hama, Curse -Reflects:Ice Pure Wind Airies -Weakness: Magic Force, Pierce -Resistance:Shot, Scattershot, Lightning, Mind -Negates:Hama, Curse -Reflects:Wind Pure Blaze Flamies -Weakness:Ice -Resistance:Mind -Negates:Hama, Curse -Reflects:Fire [Minions] Angry Atmos Earthies -Weakness:Fire, Wind, Magic Force -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:--- Angry Atmos Aquans -Weakness:Fire, Lightning -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:--- Angry Atmos Airies -Weakness:Pierce, Magic Force -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:--- Angry Atmos Flamies -Weakness:Ice -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Ruby -Sapphire -Emerald -Aquamarine -Diamond -Repair Seal -Repair Kit -Moon Mirror:Eclipse -Evening Grail -Soul Stone:Aquarius -Notes- A very difficult dungeon. You want to come in with access to all the basic elements, especially Ice. If you see a Power come out, you want to handle it with Psyche(神経) type attacks. Most parties that enter this dungeon also want you to come with Fog Breath on your devil as well. You also need at least one Gunner to deal with the Mutated Fenrirs that occasionally appear. Without one, you will spend a good ten to twenty minutes fighting a otherwise weak devil. If you are at a low level, expect to take a hour or two in this dungeon. If you have been enchanting your equipment and your stats are close to or above 99, then things will run much more quickly. The minions in the boss room are numerous, but all but one are "fakes." Hitting fake will eventually cause it to dissappear. Killing the real one will cause all fakes to dissapear as well. Even if you are in your fifties, you will still have a hard time here. ==================== ==================== Cell Tower(魔階セルタワー ) ==================== ==================== Location:Shibuya(シブヤ) X19/Y24 Plates:Bought from the dungeon's Yagi Shop. Special Traits:There are two types of switches that you will come across in this dungeon. One will unlock doors, while the other will replace the sub-boss of this dungeon, Omoikane, with weaker devils. To tell the difference between the two switches, look at the words that will be in brackets. Switches that are for locked doors will be called ロックセキュリティシステム, while the ones that replace Omoikane will be called 魔除け祈願システム. Omoikane is not paticularly strong, so feel free to ignore the switch. --------------- Bronze Level(鋼) --------------- Recommended level:15 [Sub-Boss] Omoikane -Weakness:All Melee Attacks, Shot -Resistance:Ice, Fire, Curse -Negates:All magic-type attacks -Reflects:--- [Minions] Nozuchi -Weakness: Fire, Lightning, Magic Force -Resistance:Ice, Hama -Negates:--- -Reflects:Wind -Boss Room- [Boss] Avatar of Form Hathor -Weakness:-- -Resistance:Ice, Lightning, Fire, Wind -Negates:Hama -Reflects:--- [Minions] Archangels -Weakness: Ice, Curse, Psyche -Resistance:Fire -Negates:Hama -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Amethyst -Opal -Pearl -Inheritence Incense -Beginner's Incense -Experience Incense 1.2x -Speed Bell -Heaven Shard -Aura Shot(Blue) -Ring of Laurin -Moon Mirror:Eclipse -Notes- The next dungeon up from Suginami Bronze. The hallways are long, but nothing paticularly special. A player with a rifle will have a somewhat easier time with the regular enemies, but any player should be able to get through this dungeon without trouble. -------------- Silver Level(銀) -------------- Recommended level:30(With Party) [Sub-Boss] Omoikane -Weakness:All Melee Attacks, Shot -Resistance:Ice, Fire, Curse -Negates:All magic-type attacks -Reflects:--- [Minions] Bicorn -Weakness: Pierce, Lightning -Resistance:Hama, Magic Force -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- -Boss Room- [Boss] Avatar of Form Odin -Weakness:Wind -Resistance:Fire, Lightning -Negates:--- -Reflects:Thrust, Ice [Minions] Slepnirs -Weakness: Magic Force -Resistance:Fire -Negates:Ice, Lightning -Reflects:Wind [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Pearl -Sapphire -Inheritence Incense -Beginner's Incense -Experience Incense 1.2x -Speed Bell -Heaven Shard -Aura Shot(Blue) -Ring of Laurin -Moon Mirror:Eclipse -Repair Kit -Gram -Head Hunter Spoon -Notes- Several rooms will have two spawns rather then the usual one. Also, Tarask will be a common enemy you will face. It has no weak points, and has a chance of absorbing fire. Odin has very high attack power. A player with low defense will suffer one hundred and fifty damage with three hits. Also watch out for Gugnir, a long-range spell that can easily do two hundred damage. Watch out for Odin and make sure the Slepnirs do not gang up on one character. =========================== =========================== Shibuya Quartz(魔階シブヤクォーツ) =========================== =========================== Location:Shibuya(シブヤ) X20/Y21 Plates:You must trade for a plate with ten pieces of Fossilized Magnanite(石化マグネタイト). This item is dropped by all the field devils on the Shibuya field. The different Harpy sisters have a good drop ratio. Special Traits:Most of your movement between areas will be handled by various crystals within the dungeon. There is one white crystal as well as six different colored crystals that each represent a different player stat. Depending on which cyrstal you touch, and how high the corresponding stat is, your path in the dungeon will change. The boss at the end may also be upgraded if your stat is high enough. In general, the higher your stat, the tougher the next area will be. The crystals and the stat they represent are: Red Crystal: Power Blue Crsytal:Magic Green Crystal:Vitality Purple Crystal:Intelligence Yellow Crystal:Dexterity Pink Crystal:Luck You may notice that the Inugamis here seem to have a sparkling aura around them. These special Inugamis have a fifty percent chance of reflecting any magic. Fight them with close-range weapons. Occasionally, you may run across a Dangerous Sudama. These Sudamas have one thousand and five hundred HP, and will only use suicide attacks. If you cannot kill the Sudama in time, try to cancel the attack with a regular attack. Since the suicide attacks are considered Rush attacks, a regular attack will cancel the move and save you from damage. --------------- Bronze Level(鋼) --------------- Recommended level:15 Possible Treasure- Magnanite Fossilized Magnanite Sweeper(Black) Randolf Knife *NOTE* To enter the treasure rooms, you must have a player with at least twenty luck touch a Luck Crystal. -Boss Room- On the final road to the boss room, you will notice the six colored crystals along the path. If certain ones are lighted, then the stats of the boss will change, as well as the minions that spawn. To light up one of these crystals, you must have touched a similar colored crystal on the previous floors. To light up each crystal you must have the following stats: Red Crystal:50 Power Blue Crsytal:50 Magic Green Crystal:40 Vitality Purple Crystal:40 Intelligence Yellow Crystal:50 Dexterity Pink Crystal:40 Luck Here are the possible bosses that can appear: Wings of Hell Fury-No crystals are glowing. Swift Greed Fury-Yellow Crystal is glowing. Unmoving Jealousy Fury-Blue Crystal is glowing, or Red, Yellow and Purple are glowing. Merciful Force Fury-Red, Blue and Yellow crystals are glowing. Lasting Vengence Fury-Red Crystal is glowing, or Red and Pink is glowing. If more then one crystal is glowing, but does not meet any of the above criteria, then the first crystal that was lit will have priority. [Boss] Wings of Hell Fury -Weakness:wind, Gun attacks -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:Swords Swift Greed Fury -Weakness:Lightning, Gun attacks -Resistance:--- -Negates:Curse -Reflects:Swords -Absorbs:Wind Unmoving Jealosy Fury -Weakness:Magic-based Fire, Ice, or Wind -Resistance:--- -Negates:Melee-based Wind -Reflects:All physical attacks -Absorbs:Lightning Lasting Vengence Fury -Weakness:Melee attacks, melee-based fire, melee-based Wind, psyche -Resistance:--- -Negates:Gun attacks, magic -Reflects: -Absorbs:Magic-based Ice Merciful Force Fury -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- -Absorbs:Fire [Minions] Minions spawn when you enter the large area of the boss room. What appears depends on what crystals are glowing. Harpy -Weakness: Gun attacks, Psyche -Resistance:-- -Negates:Fire, Curse -Reflects:--- Ocypete -Weakness: Gun attacks, Psyche, Wind -Resistance:-- -Negates:Ice, Curse -Reflects:Blunt Celeano -Weakness: Gun attacks, Psyche, Wind -Resistance:-- -Negates:Lightning, Curse -Reflects:Thrust Aello -Weakness: Gun attacks, Psyche -Resistance:-- -Negates:Wind, Curse -Reflects:Slash Vengeful Ocypete -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- Jealous Celeano -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- Greedy Aello -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- Extraordinary Aello -Weakness: Gun attacks, Psyche -Resistance:Hama, Curse -Negates:Magic Force -Reflects:Slash Mirror Inugami -Weakness:Slash, Lightning, Wind, Hama -Resistance:Gun Attacks -Negates:--- -Reflects:Curse, Magic(50%) Lucky Kahaku -Weakness:Ice -Resistance:Fire -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- -Absorbs:Fire Dangerous Sudama -Weakness:Fire, Hama -Resistance:Ice, Lightning, Wind -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- Elf -Weakness:--- -Resistance:Mind -Negates:Thrust, Wind -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Magnanite -Opal -Topaz -Jade -Amethyst -Repair Kit -Junk(Bullet) -Cell Tower:Silver plate -Crystal Sword -Notes- If you do not activate one of the harder bosses, then the run through this dungeon should be a breeze. A large majority of the devils here are bird types, so gunner types will feel at home here. On the other hand, you will start seeing devils that reflect certain close-range attacks. If you start taking damage and a barrier appears in front of the devil you just attacked, that means your attacks are being reflected. Switch to a different weapon. =========================== =========================== Ichigaya Bunker(旧イチガヤ駐屯地) =========================== =========================== Location:Ichigaya(イチガヤ) X17/Y23 Plates:Bought from the dungeon's Yagi Shop. Special Traits:This dungeon features the shortest route to the boss room. However, going straight to the boss may be unwise depending on your level, or impratical. I will explain why on the sections for the different levels. It is best to use the elevator that is in the center of the first floor, go to the lower floors to retrive Floppies/CDs, and hand them to the NPC that is in front of the boss room by selecting ____を渡す. After that, you can enter the boss room by hitting 奥に進む. The Floppies/CDs are in hidden treasure boxes. To make the boxes appear, you must hit a switch. The switch will cause the treasure box to appear in the same room, but the box carrying the Floppies/CDs and switch are always separated by either chasms or stacks of crates. It should be noted that there is no shop within this dungeon. If you plan to explore the entire dungeon, come prepared with extra supplies. --------------- Bronze Level(鋼) --------------- Recommended level:25 Level-Specific Notes: You can retrieve Correction Files(修正ファイル) from the three floors you can access from the elevator. Each floppy corresponds to a certain devil that appears in the boss room. Giving the File to the NPC that is in front of the boss room will cause the corresponding devil to disappear. You will find the following files on these floors: B3-修正ファイル(モウリョウ) Mouryuu's File B4-修正ファイル(コロンゾン) Koronzon's File B5-修正ファイル(グール) Ghoul's File Possible Treasure- Periot Chakra Drop Chakra Chip Magic Stone Revival Ring Medical Kit Medical Powder Agi Stone Zio Stone -Boss Room- [Boss] Avatar of Power Kikurihime -Weakness:Fire -Resistance:Ice, Wind, Lightning, Magic Force -Negates:Hama -Reflects:Thrust, Slash [Minions] Former JDF Soldier Mouryuu -Weakness:Slash, Blunt, Shot, Hama -Resistance:Fire, Magic Force -Negates:--- -Reflects:Ice One who was Burnt by the ICBM Ghoul -Weakness:Slash, Blunt, Scattershot, Fire, Hama -Resistance:Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:Wind, Lightning Gotou's Loyal Subordinate Korozon -Weakness:Wind, Lightning, Hama -Resistance:Gun attacks, Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:Fire Datsueba -Weakness:Wind, Lightning, Hama -Resistance:Gun attacks, Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- *Note* Since there is no File for the Datsuebas, they will always be in the boss room. [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Garnet -Topaz -Coral -Amethyst -Emerald -Jade -Speed Ball -Mandara Melon -Protect Ring -Protect Pierce -Resist Ring -Resist Pierce -Kamudo-no-Ken -Ichijyou-Sei -Notes- This dungeon is somewhat tough when you are in your twenties, but a player can easily solo this once they are in their fifties. Since the path to the boss room is so short, this dungeon is very popular among players in their forties. A full party properly equipped can achieve the same experience as Suginami Silver in two runs, all while using less time. However, since magicians and gunners have a tough time in this dungeon, popularity for this dungeon is lower then Suginami Silver. If you are a fighter, you will have a somewhat easier time in this dungeon. If you are a Law fighter and bought the Claymore from Arcadia, you will easily breeze through the enemies. The Ghouls in the boss room have very high attack power. Expect fifty damage or so per hit. Watch out for them and start taking a defensive position if one is coming after you. --------------- Silver Level(銀) --------------- Recommended level:40 Level-Specific Notes:You are not allowed to solo Ichigaya Silver. The game requires that you have at least one other person with you. The reason will be explained later. You can retrieve Correction CDs(修正CD) from the three floors you can access from the elevator. Each CD corresponds to a certain devil. However, these CDs instead add devils instead of removing devils. This is because the boss room itself only has the boss and the mandatory Momunoffs. While a straight run to the boss room may sound pleasing, this is not possible. The game requires that you use at least one CD. One extra type of devil is not that bad though, and the treasure in the boss room will get better if you use more CDs. You should only try this at higher levels though. You will find the following CDs on these floors: B6-(グール)Ghoul or (トゥルダク)Turdak B7-(コロンゾン)Koronzon or (ラフィンスカル)Laughing Skull B8-(モウリョウ)Mouryuu or (スペクター)Specter To go to a certain floor on the elevator, you must have the proper Security Card. To get these cards, hit the switch in the room that is before the elevator area and five boxes should appear, each one holding a card for a different floor. Usually there will be two copies of one of three possible cards. Since a player without the proper card, use the following method to get your entire party to one floor: 1)Have two identical cards(ie two B6s or two B7s) 2)Have two players go down to the floor 3)Have one player give the other player his card 4)The player with two cards returns to the main floor 5)That player passes one card to one other player and holds on to his card 6)Both players go down to elevator 7)Repeat steps 3-6 until all players are on the same floor The system to get the CDs to appear is the same as it is in Bronze, with one difference. When you hit the switch, the door that leads to the CD opens, but the door leading out of the area with the switch closes. Flipping the switch again will cause the doors to open and close respectively. You must split up into two teams and leave one team behind to deal with the switch. While the door of the switch area is closed, special versions of Momunoffs will appear to harrass the team that stayed behind. These Momunoffs have well over one thousand HP, are only worth a few experience points, and infinitely spawns. Ignore them. Possible Treasure- Zan Stone Bufu Stone Agi Stone Zio Stone -Boss Room- [Boss] Avatar of Power Arahabaki -Weakness:Fire, Lightning, Wind, Magic Force, Mind, Psyche -Resistance:--- -Negates:Ice, Hama, Curse -Reflects:Blunt, Slash, Shot, Scattershot [Minions] Former JDF Soldier Mouryuu -Weakness:Slash, Blunt, Shot, Hama -Resistance:Fire, Magic Force -Negates:--- -Reflects:Ice One who was Burnt by the ICBM Ghoul -Weakness:Slash, Blunt, Scattershot, Fire, Hama -Resistance:Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:Wind, Lightning Gotou's Loyal Subordinate Korozon -Weakness:Wind, Lightning, Hama -Resistance:Gun attacks, Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:Fire Former JDF Commander Specter -Weakness:Ice, Lightning, Wind, Magic Force, Hama -Resistance:Gun attacks, Mind, Psyche -Negates:All magic, Curse -Reflects:Blunt One who was Blinded by the ICBM Turdark -Weakness:Slash, Blunt, Scattershot, Fire, Hama -Resistance:Ice -Negates:--- -Reflects:Wind, Lightning Gotou's Adoring Subordinate Laughing Skull -Weakness:Wind, Magic Force, Hama -Resistance:--- -Negates:Curse -Reflects:All melee-based attacks, Fire Momunofu -Weakness:Magic Force, Mind, Psyche -Resistance:Hama, Curse -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Emerald -Pearl -Ruby -Magic Pearl -Hyper Chip -Speed Ball -Mandara Melon -Parade Helm(Male or Female) -Jomon Optical Lens -Reaper Colt -Cobra Pike -Hiten-Daisei -Ka-Oshyou *Note* Using four or more CDs will increase the chances of receiving one of the rare weapons, and the number of gems you receive will also increase. -Notes- This is not the dungeon to go to if you want to make money. Not only is the cost of the plate high, but the treasure in the boss room is rather measly if you don't use several CDs. If you plan to do a straight run to the boss room, you should get some spare CDs from one run and use them for second and third runs. ====================================== ====================================== Kagurazaka Suzaku Caverns(魔階カグラザカ朱雀洞) ====================================== ====================================== Location:Ichigaya(イチガヤ) X26/Y15 Plates:Bought from the dungeon's Yagi Shop. --------------- Bronze Level(鋼) --------------- Recommended level:20-30 Level-Specific Notes: When you first look at the map of the first floor, you will notice that there is no second teleportor. To advance to the second floor, you need to talk to one of three NPCs that are called 彷徨う魂. These souls will unlock the second option on the beginning teleportor. This option will take you to the second floor. For confirmation's sake, here is what the second option looks like:次のフロアに進む. The first option will take you out of the dungeon. The three NPCs are behind locked doors. To get to them, you have to clear the room that is at X13Y25. Clearing this room will also unlock the treasure room on this floor. The location of the souls are as follows: X26Y15 X18Y23 X23Y22 Boss Room Notes:There are two variations to the boss room here. The normal version features Legion. Randomly, the boss will be Suzaku instead of Legion. The Lost Angel:If you fulfill certain requirement, a special version of Angel called 迷子の天使 will appear on the second floor of the dungeon. These Angels are smaller then the regular versions, and will drop the Shining Feather. If you pass this item on to the Guard that is right outside the entrance to this dungeon, you will receive five hundred thousand experience. However, it is very difficult to kill this Angel. Not only does it negate all attacks at a high rate, but it will run away after being attacked for a while. The only way to effectively kill this Angel is by using the Megido series of spells. Even then, the Lost Angel might null the Megido spell. To get the Lost Angel to appear, you need three players who are level 20 to 30 in your party. Each of these players must talk to a different Soul while on the first floor. Be sure that you have all three pick the first option before picking the second conversation option with a Soul. Once that is done, up to five Lost Angels will appear on the second floor. Good luck. Possible Treasure- Revival Ball Jewel of the Southern Skies Devil Memory:Yaka -Boss Room[Legion]- [Boss] The Starved Devil Legion -Weakness:Lightning, Wind -Resistance:Ice, Fire -Negates:Allmighty -Reflects:-- [Minions] Starved Poltergiest -Weakness:Lightning, Wind -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:-- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Beginner's Incense -Experience Incense x1.2 -Spirit Ash -Agidyne Stone -Jewel of the Southern Skies -Jade -Ruby -Topaz -Devil Memory:Suzaku -Devil Crystal:Gaki -Devil Crystal:Will o' Wisp -Devil Crystal:Legion -Devil Crystal:Suzaku -Magic Charm:Priestess -Koujinki Spear -Boss Room[Suzaku]- [Boss] Beast of Red Mist Suzaku -Weakness: Ice -Resistance:-- -Negates:-- -Reflects:Lightning -Absorb:Fire [Minions] Swarming Beast Hakutaku -Weakness:-- -Resistance:Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind -Negates:-- -Reflects:-- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Wing of Suzaku -Notes- As long as you watch out for the Hakutakus that spawn in the different rooms, you should be fine. All the other devils that spawn here are not nearly as aggressive. The Legion in the boss room has a high amount of HP, but will only use spells against you. As long as you can use Dodge in time, Legion will be easy to beat. The same cannot be said for the Poltergeists. While the minions are fairly tame, they will start using area spins if they are attacked. Avoid using area attacks. Suzaku is a much tougher boss then Legion, and the Hakutakus that spawn with it have no weaknesses. Avoid using area attacks. ================================== ================================== Shinagawa Catacombs(魔階シナガワ神殿騎士廟) ================================== ================================== Location:Shinagawa(シナガワ) X17/Y21 Plates:Bought from the dungeon's Yagi Shop. Special Traits:There are two versions to the Bronze level of the Catacombs. If you create the dungeon at the New Moon, you will get a dungeon that will be filled with tougher Chaos devils. In each version of the dungeon, you will randomly come down with a status alignment. In the regular version of the Bronze level, you will come down with Bind, a aliment that keeps you from moving. In the New Moon version of Bronze, you will get Confusion, a move that lenghtens the recovery times of skills. On the second floor of the dungeon you will meet a NPC Archangel. If you are in the New Moon version, you will instead meet a NPC Artemis. Selecting 力を借りる with one of them will get you an Aura. The Archangel gives a Tranquil Aura, and the Artemis gives a Lamenting Aura. The Tranquil Aura prevents Confusion, while the Lamenting Aura prevents Bind. Both of these status boosts lasts for two hours. The treasure rooms in this dungeon only open if you have an Aura on you. What appears in the room depends on which Aura you have, and which version of the dungeon you are in. -------------------------------- Bronze Level(鋼)-Regular version -------------------------------- Recommended level:30 Possible Treasure- Dis-Charm Angel Hair Binding Napalm Mandara Melon Pearl Emerald Sapphire Turquoise Devil Memory Baibu-Kaha Gabriel Card Michael Card Raphael Card Uriel Card *NOTE* If you open the treasure room door with the Tranquil Aura, you will get a treasure chest. If you open the door with the Lamenting Aura, you will get either a sub-boss or a special devil to appear. [Sub-Boss/Special Devil] Protector of the Coffin Throne -Weakness:Ice -Resistance:Gun Attacks -Negates:Blunt -Reflects:Fire Lucky Valkyrie -Weakness:Magic Force, Psyche, Mind -Resistance:Curse -Negates:Hama -Reflects:--- -Absorbs:Fire -Boss Room- [Boss] Dominating Protector of Souls Hraesvelg -Weakness:Fire, Gun attacks -Resistance:Hama -Negates:Wind, Mind, Psyche -Reflects:Ice [Minions] Mutated Mahhas -Weakness:Wind, Gun attacks -Resistance:--- -Negates:Slash -Reflects:--- [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Mandara Melon -Pearl -Emerald -Diamond -Magic Charm:Sun -Devil Crystal:Valkyrie -Hajya -Gospel -Hyoushi-Tou -Notes- The Bind status alignment is an annoyance in the regular dungeon, but can cost you your life in the boss room. Be sure to have a full stock of Iwakura Waters (イワクラの水) handy. They can be bought from the Yagi shop that is in this dungeon. If you talk to the Archangel while you have the Tranquil Aura still on you from a previous run, you will get a special item. This item can be traded for cash at Arcadia. The NPC will only take it from you if you still have the Tranquil Aura. The NPC's coordinates are -------------------------------- Bronze Level(鋼)-New Moon version -------------------------------- Recommended level:40 Possible Treasure- Magnanite Coral Treasure Ball Magic Stone Dis-Charm Soul Stone:Pisces Magic Charm:Moon Plan Intario:Phoenix Devil Memory Vetala *NOTE* If you open the treasure room door with the Lamenting Aura, you will get a treasure chest. If you open the door with the Tranquil Aura, you will get devils. -Boss Room- [Boss] Outrageous Descecrator Nidhogg -Weakness:--- -Resistance:Fire -Negates:Lightniing -Reflects:Ice [Minions] Mutated Tarasque -Weakness:--- -Resistance:Fire, Ice, Lightning -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- -Absorbs:Fire [Boss Room Treasure] The lower the item is on the list, the rarer it is. -Mandara Melon -Magnanite -Ruby -Coral -Crimson Stone -Soul Stone:Pisces -Magic Charm:Moon -Notes- The Confusion is not detrimental to your fighting abilities. The charge time is only noticable if you are using high-level magic spells. If you feel like you need it, go ahead and keep a couple of dis-Charms on your character. Many of the devils here are weak to either Fire or Wind. Keep the proper machettes with you. If you talk to the Artemis while you still have the Lamenting Aura from a previous run on you, you will receive one Crimson Stone. If a player has twenty of these in his inventory when he creates a dungeon at the Catacombs, that player will automatically make the New Moon version of the dungeon. It will not matter what the Moon Phase is. ========== ========== COMP-Hack ========== ========== Location:Varies Plates:To get the plates, you must get a Broken IC Chip (壊れたICチップ) and trade for a Hack-Chip A(Hackチップ-A). To trade the chips, go to either the Virtual Girl in Third Home or the Innocent in Shinjuku's Central Command and select COMPの調子について. IC-Chips are randomly dropped by: -Poltergiests(Shinjuku Docks only) -The Floating Gun Turrets(Found In Shinjuku Docks, South Area) -Giant Cait Siths(Suginami Area) Now that you have your Hack-A chips, go to the proper NPC and select COMPの調子について. After you hit the confirmation message, you will be sent into the dungeon. Each dungeon here is only one to three rooms. To move between rooms, click on the green object that appears after you clear a room. The treasure for clearing these mini-dungeons is unlike the prizes from regular private dungeons. You will get a COMP修正データ. Each NPC has their own version of this item. Talk to the NPC once more while you have the item in your inventory and you will be able to receive one devil. Obviously, if you do not a slot in your COMP, you cannot get a devil. Each NPC will give you different devils. -------------------------------- Trainee Devilbuster(見習いデビルバスター) -------------------------------- Location:Third Home(第三ホーム) X20Y19 Recommended level:20 Level-specific notes:When you enter this dungeon, you will be hit with the Virus status alignment. Virus is essentially Poison, and will stay with you until you leave the dungeon. If you or your devil do not have access to the four elemental magic spells(Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind) then I cannot reccommend you attempt this dungeon. The Kodamas in the second room will spawn two minutes after you enter the room. Be patient and wait. -Room One- [Devils] Electric Fairy Pixie -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- These Pixies will drop magic stones. If ignored my advice and entered without any magic, pick these up and use them in the next room. Also, these Pixies will spawn once more if you do not finish all of them off in a set amount of time. -Room Two- [Devils] Noise of the World Wide Tree Kodamas -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:All melee-based attacks & one of the four base elements -Reflects:--- Four of these Kodamas appear in Room Two. There will negate melee attacks and one of the four elementals. Which one they negate depends on which element they use. The Kodama using Blizzard Cannon will negate Ice attacks, the Kodama using Hurricane Cannon will negate Wind, and so forth. As with the Pixies in Room One, these Kodamas will spawn again if you do not finish them off in a set amount of time. -Boss Room- [Boss] Electric Fairy Oberon -Weakness:Magic Force -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- [Minions] Electric Fairy High-Pixie -Weakness:--- -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- The High-Pixies will infinitely spawn, and offer little experience. Go after Oberon. [Possible Devils] The lower the devil is on the list, the rarer it is. -Shiisa -Mouryuu -Empusa -Extraordinary Earthies -Lucky Datsueba -Undeveloped Hathor -Storm Pixie -Notes- Despite the time limitations, this dungeon is still easy, as long as you have a mid-sized party. However, most of the devils you receive are regular field devils. The Undeveloped Hathor is very good though, since she learns Megido at level thirty-five. Do this dungeon if you are after the rare Undeveloped Hathor or Storm Pixie. Otherwise spend your chips elsewhere. -------------------------------- Young Devilbuster(若いデビルバスター) -------------------------------- Location:Suginami Camp(スギナミ) X17Y18 Recommended level:20 -Boss Room- [Boss] Electric King Oni -Weakness:Magic Force, Mind, Psyche -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- You will face the Oni six times in a row. Each time, the boss will grow in size, starting from very small to very big. [Possible Devils] The lower the devil is on the list, the rarer it is. -Hou-Ou -Kikurihime -Apis -Extraordinary Airies -Extraordinary Unicorn -Undeveloped Mothman -Blizzard Jack Frost -Notes- A very small dungeon, with only one devil. All of these devils will use Absolute Zero, Shock, or Hellfire as part of their attacks. These attacks are 360 degree Spin attacks, and can easily do four hundred to five hundred damage. It may be best to take them out from a distance. -Boss Room- [Boss] Curious Pixie -Weakness:Magic Force -Resistance:--- -Negates:--- -Reflects:--- Nasty. Expect six hundred damage from the Cannons these Pixies will use. [Possible Devils] The lower the devil is on the list, the rarer it is. -Parvathi -Kahaku -Artemis -Coatlicue -Valkyrie -Undeveloped Succubus -Undeveloped Yakushi -Lucky Pixie -Extraordinary Ame-No-Uzume -Extraordinary Flamies
When you report to Hasegawa, your currently summoned devil will
receive seventy thousand experience points.

-Notes-

Do not come here if you care about your experience points. Unless you
have a party member that has a high Class in the Enhancement chain
expert or have defensive incenses like the Vitality Incense(体力の香)
or the Guard Incense(堅守の香), you will die. Luckily, it is impossible
to go below zero percent and de-level, so enjoy this dungeon when
you just leveled up.

That being said, the special devils you receive here more then make
up for the pain you had to deal with. The undeveloped devils start out
with Hellfire or Shock, and will learn dyne level spells after leveling
up ten to fifteen levels. If you are trying for the ultimate mage
devil, this is the place to start gathering materials.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
\\\G1 Trials\\\
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

G1 Trials are time attacks for the private dungeons. Everything
G1-related is handled by the red-colored goatman that can be found
in most dungeons.

To try a G1 Trial, you must buy a stopwatch from the red goatman.
Each dungeon level has their own stopwatch, and they cannot be used when
creating other dungeon levels. When you select the dungeon you want to
run, you will be prompted and asked if you want to use a stopwatch. This
prompt appears regardless of whether you have a stopwatch or not. Select
the second option and your dungeon run will now be timed.

Once your objective has been completed and you have left the
dungeon, you must now report your time to the red goatman. Select
タイムを報告する and you will receive a tickets. If you got the A rank for
the first time in a dungeon, you will receive a talisman instead.
The talisman reduces your defenses, but allows you to do more damage
to the devil that appears on the talisman.

You must report your time, or the game will not allow you to enter
another G1 Trial. Keep this in mind when in a party.

Each dungeon that has a G1 Trial will have their own ticket. You
may use these tickets at the appropriate dungeon to trade for prizes. The
number of tickets you get per run will go down as your time rank goes
lower. The maximum amount you get per run is four to six.

\\\Area Bosses\\\

Area bosses are just like any field devil spawn, except that
there is an unknown amount of time between their defeat and when
they will appear once more. If you cannot find a boss at one of the
noted spawn points, try changing channels and search again.

\\\Tips on joining Japanese parties\\\
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

While there are fellow English players in this game, you stand a
better chance of finding a hunting party if you tap into the large
reserve of Japanese players. Not being able to communicate is a problem
to say the least. Although the Japanese school system mandates education
in the English language, fluency is rare considering that there are not
that many places to practice the language.

Here, I will explain how to post a listing for parties, how to
answer to a listing, and tips on how to get along with your foreign
party members.

-----------------------
The Party List(パーティリスト)
-----------------------

The Party List can be found under the COMM tab, one of the tabs that
is at the lower-right hand corner of your screen. The listings here
state the purpose of the listing, the place it takes place in, and the
name of the person who posted the listing. Since this board is also used
for clan membership drives and other social activities, try looking for
listings that have the name of dungeons on them.

If you want to respond to a listing, select 申し込み from the bottom
of the listing and input a short message. I will explain what information
you need in a later section. For now, be sure to be on the same channel
as the person you are responding to. Most listings have a Channel number
in their messages, so look for that.

-How to post your own dungeon listing-

To make your own listing, click 新発録. 場所名 the area where you
put in which dungeon you want to go to. Just select the dungeon and level
from the drop-down list that appears. 目的 is purpose. Since you want
to go to a dungeon to level up, select キャラクタ成育(Character Raising).
Finally, the bottom box is for the message. I will discuss what you should
place here in the next section.

Once you are done, select. If you want to take down your
listing, double-click your listing and then select 発録の取り消し from the
bottom.

Responses to your listing will come in your Mailbox. Whenever you get
a response, a blinking green envelope will appear over the COM tab. Your box
is under the COMM tab, and is accessible by hitting the button that has
an exclamation point on it. Once in, click the bubble that is next to
パーティ and you should see some mail. Open up the mail and you can add the
person by selecting 勧誘 from the bottom of the letter.

-What to put into your listing/message-

First off, you should explain that you do not know the language.
Although most players will be too busy with the dungeon to chat, you
ought to inform your fellow players beforehand in order to avoid
any complications beforehand. You should also mention your level, character
type, and what channel you are on. Channel information can be omitted
if you are responding to a listing.

If you are creating a listing, here are some phrases that may
help you:

X週をまわる予定:Scheduled for X number of runs.

-The normal amount of runs is around five non-stop. That usually
takes about a hour and twenty minutes. Be sure to select an
amount of time where you will not step away from the computer.

プレート自負:Will pay for all plates.

-This is an expensive offer, but including this line will help
you get party members even if you are weak. You still have to
participate in the fights though. If you do not include this
line, it is generally assumed that party members will take turns
        buying plates.

XCH移動後申し込みから: Respond by mail after moving to Channel X.

-This is absolutely necessary. A good deal of confusion can
               be avoided.

-Chat phrases-

There is some chatting going around, and knowing some phrases will
help when emergencies come up. Even if there are no emergencies, knowing
some of the basic polite terms will help keep you on your party members'
good side.

よろしくお願いします:My regards.

-A typical greeting for when you add someone to the party.

お疲れ様でした:Nice work.

-Use this when you finish one dungeon run.

足を使っていいですか? May I use a Swift Jewel?

-You are more likely to hear this from Japanese players who have
access to CP. The Swift Jewels allows any player that is close
vicinity of the user to gain 1.5 times their normal walking speed.
This effect lasts for a hour, and will be temporarily disabled when
you charge a skill or enter a battle. If someone were to use
this, expect your hunt to go until the item's effect wears off.

すいません、急用が出来てしまったので:I'm sorry, but something urgent came up.

-In case a family emergency comes up, use this term and then try
to explain what happened. Your fellow party members will not
get angry if it truly is an emergency.

すいません、トイレに...:I'm sorry, I need to use the toilet.

-Normally, you should handle such business before starting
a set of dungeon runs. But if you absolutely have to go, give
a quick notice and finish up quickly.

PTありがとうございました:Thank you for the hunt.

-Use this at the end of the final run.

-Manners-

As with any party, there are certain things you must not do. Since
there is a language barrier, this is even more important. Here are some
things you should avoid doing.

*Avoid poor grammar and chat room language.

This is to help facilitate communication. Chances are, you will not
dealing with people who only have a partial understanding of English. They
will have a harder time deriving your meaning. Use proper end punctuations
and avoid acronyms such as AFK or LOL. As far as I know, Japanese chat
room language uses a different set of abbreviations.

*Do not go AFK once you have started gathering a party.

During dungeon runs, players are using experience boosters, Speed
Neclaces, and other CP items that have time limits on them. They want
to get the most out of their Item Shop purchases, and being forced to
wait ten minutes for a person to come back. Expect to be left behind
if you do this. If it is an emergency, just explain the situation and
leave the party.

*Do not be a leech.

If you are a low level character, it cannot be helped that you cannot
fight as well as others. That does not mean you should just stay in the
back and have experience flow to you. Help out in someway, even if it
is just using healing items.

*No not use weak area attacks.

Area attacks such as the Maha-spells should be avoided unless you
can do damage that is in the hundreds. Area attacks scatter enemies, causes
all of those hit to become aggresive, and will break any combo chains a
fighter was in the middle of. If your area spells are just doing a measly
ten or twenty damage, remove them from your hotkey bank.

*Do not do anything that falls outside of the scope of experience hunts.

This includes trying to capture devils and placing more priority on
raising your Expert levels then hunting. As I mentioned above, players
are using time-limited CP items, and do not wish to waste them. Even
if they are not using CP items, players will just get annoyed by having
to wait and watch you try to catch something.

*Do not come unprepared for a dungeon.

This one only applies to dungeons like Suginami Gold. In these
dungeons, where every player must carry his own weight, you cannot expect
to be able to join such a dungeon with only one weapon type.

On party listings, if you see a a skill name in the message, that is
a good indicator that the person is creating a power party. Avoid them
if you want to take a more relaxed stance in the dungeon.
