---------------------------------------------------- NEIGHBOURS FROM HELL Walkthrough for Season 2 and 3 by Greenlander ---------------------------------------------------- use, copy, change, redistribute, I don't give a shit ---------------------------------------------------- --------- NOTATION: --------- (yes I know, I've written too much actionscript...) ... location(items_pickup) ... tool--target please distinguish between "walk" (left mouse btn) and "sneak" (right mouse btn) -------------- GENERAL HINTS: -------------- (1) ALWAYS click on the next "target" as soon as our friend calls out "Ha!" after he has picked something up! That way he never wastes any time standing! :-) Even when our hero is walking up the stairs to the house, you already click on the first destination! (2) You can enter a room as soon as the neighbour is about to leave (one or two steps to the door he's taking)... Try to get a feeling when it's safe to come in, sometimes they're literally in the same room while operating the doors. Make it a tight squeeze, you need the time!! (3) Waking up pets (at least the parrot) can be a tactical move to gain time: The neighbour will interrupt his routine to look after the beast and that can give you valuable seconds... Just remember to click your destination again after our friend has been shocked by the animal and has stopped walking! In fact, you can keep on clicking while he's freaking out-- that way you make sure he doesn't lose time! :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SEASON 1 has been covered excellently by Luis (Giovan_Trap), no need to repeat. if you found this walkthrough elsewhere, cheack out www.gamesfaqs.com to get his guide... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ EPISODE 2-1 (94%): ------------------ Okay folks, this one is quite easy and it allows for one fantastic trick series! :-) When he slips on the banana, gets his butt pierced, slapped by his vase and then ruins mum's statue all in a matter of seconds, he absolutely freaks out!! Walking up instead of sneaking and thus waking up the parrot is essential (hence the exclamation mark!) in order to get the necessary time to complete the other hilarious trick series: bird, painting and camera. This solution is fast and bold (no hiding until the last second!) ... dustbin(banana) drawer(wrench), pinboard(pins) medikit(spray,scissors) wait banana--floor, pins--stool, wrench--machine wait for banana trick, walk(!) up and wake the parrot, walk(!) up scissors--bird, spray--painting drawer(bottle), powder--camera, hide under bed! *** ------------------ EPISODE 2-2 (97%): ------------------ This one is tough. It took me a while to come up with this really crazy solution (there's absolutely no margin for error within the sequences), but it's the most fun and get's top ratings! You intentionally wake up the parrot _twice_ before sneaking the last time. That is if you actually manage the first sequence! :-))) Remember Hints #1 and #2!!! dustbin(banana), fridge(honey) drawer(misc.), hide in closet as he enters the hall! wait until he leaves the hall again ... showbrush--toothbrush walk(!) up and wake the parrot, walk(!) up bag(soil) hide under bed until he enters the balcony ... drawer(key), walk down and wake the parrot, walk down pinboard(pins) banana--floor, soil--coffee key--medikit(poison) sneak up, sneak up honey--sunlotion, pins--chair, close umbrella, poison--water hide under bed! *** ------------------- EPISODE 2-3 (100%): ------------------- No problems here. Piece of cake, really. Just a bit of patience and trategic thinking! :-) First, get all the goodies and then wait on the balcony to get the keys. Boring, yes, but it will get you two nice double strikes and one triple at the end which makes four tantrums in total! Here's how: dustbin(banana), fridge(tabasco) sneak! H20(nitro), snackbag(cookies), sneak down pinboard(pins), wait until he's entering the kitchen then walk up sneak up table(cactus), wait until he's going to bed, then move fast! keyboard(key), cactus--alarmclock, tabasco--artificialteeth, sneak down, sneak right cookies--parrotfood, nitro--milk key--pig, walk to left stairs and wait until he's entering the kitchen, walk up sneak up banana--floor, pins--bed, wait*** ------------------ EPISODE 2-3 (97%): ------------------ Another easy one. Just one tight sqeeze to get under the bed in time in the first sequence. But that's the fun of it! Result: Two triple series :-) medikit(alcohol,growth) pinboard(pins) dustbin(banana), fridge(vinegar), walk left sneak up quickly hide under the bed, then wait until he's going down alcohol--beer, growth--water ruin the fire extinguisher, hide under the bed until he's going outside, walk down sneak! banana--floor, pins--chair, vinegar--wine wait*** ------------------- EPISODE 3-1 (97%): ------------------- This one is hilarious! If you follow the solution below, you'll have plenty of time just watching the idiot get electricuted, flipped over, dusted, etc... Easy going, no tight squeezes here. I wish I'd find a way to get 100%, though... :-) drawer(marbles), walk to left staircase, walk up sneak up drawer(knife) table(shovel), walk down sneak! birdpole(birdfood), sneak right soapbox(soap), dustbin(cable) cable--socket, workbench(pliers), shelve(wine), wine--washingmachine, pliers--dryer walk left, marbles--floor, wait until he enters the kitchen, walk up sneak! shovel--plant, soil--floor, knife--vacuumcleaner, sneak up soap--fishfood hide under bed and wait until he's entering the computer room birdfood--clothes use iron, hide under bed*** ------------------- EPISODE 3-2 (94%): ------------------- What a marathon!
